It's been several weeks now since the recently graduated students became Genin, Team 7 after help from Kurenai helping Sakura became a better team, they're still doing D-rank missions although both Naruto and Kiba are itching for something more challenging, Sakura also wants something more challenging but isn't sure if she's ready.

She's been to the library and picked out some scrolls on Iryōjutsu, she's enjoying reading about it but the actual physically learning of it is hard to do but she's determined to persevere, she was surprised and happy that her mum helped her she'd quiz her daughter on it which she enjoyed it was a bonding experience for her, and just like the quizzes with Kakashi she enjoyed this time with her mum also.

For Kiba, he's continuing to learn his clan Jutsu he's still headstrong but has calmed down a bit which is better for everyone concerned. He trains more with his mum and sister, so it's all good.

Naruto has been training with his adopted mum Anko when she's not overly busy, he also trains with Kurenai and Yūgao when there not busy with their team (Kurenai) or missions (Yūgao)

He's also overheard Kurenai talking with Anko and the conversation is always about the same thing the emo Uchiha Sasuke and how difficult it is, and how arrogant he is and it's affecting morale in the team so much that it's a powder keg ready to explode.

We now find Team 7 leaving the Hokage's tower after another set of so-called missions when they all knew they were just chores that the villagers were too god damn lazy to do themselves, and that damn Demon cat Tora wouldn't run away if her owner knew how to treat it.

After Kakashi left them they all split up going in different directions, while this was going on a council meeting was in session one that Hiruzen didn't ask for so was curious as to why there was an unscheduled meeting.

Hiruzen sat down in his chair "OK, now I am curious why there's a council meeting when I didn't summon one so care to enlighten me as to why there's one right now."

The rest of the Clan heads were also wondering what this was all about, they were given their answer when Homura Mitokado one of the Village Elders, and one of Hiruzen's old teammates stands up to address the council.

"My fellow councilmen and councilwoman, I and the council would like to talk about team assignments, mainly Sasuke Uchiha's situation."

Hiruzen raised an eyebrow but was kind of waiting for this the teams were not as planned, especially with Naruto being Rookie of the Year over these villages so-called Golden Boy Sasuke was unexpected.

Hiruzen sighs "Tell me Homura, what right do you an adviser have to summon a council meeting I don't believe you are the Hokage only I make the council meetings but I will humor you what is it about the Uchiha that has made you forget your place."

Homura gulps at that before coughing "Well Hir"

Before he can finish Hiruzen stops him "That's Lord Hokage Homura it would be wise for you to remember that and that goes for everyone here, now continue."

Homura nods "My apologize Lord Hokage but firstly we heard that Sasuke was not the Rookie of the year it must have been an error but it seems that not only was Sasuke Uchiha not Rookie of the Year but was also not given to Kakashi Hatake the only other Ninja in Konoha who has a Sharingan but he was given to a newly promoted Jōnin in Kurenai Yūhi, there must be an error."

Hiruzen sighs "For Starters Homura there was no error the Rookie of the Year was rightfully given to Naruto Uzumaki, as for not being given to Kakashi well Kakashi requested Naruto as his student so I graciously excepted his request, as for Kurenai Yūhi she has earned her position as Jōnin."

"At such a time as Sasuke awakens his Sharingan then and only then will I have Kakashi assist Sasuke, The Sharingan helps with Genjutsu so who better to have as his Sensei than the best Genjutsu user in the village as his Sensei."

Homura is not happy with this "But wouldn't it be better to have Kakashi as his Sensei straight away."

Hiruzen shakes his head "No as I stated Kakashi wanted Naruto and got Naruto, that is the end of it, but I would like to know just how you got to know of this, to begin with, you have never questioned me before."

Koharu stands up "Sasuke Uchiha came to me personally to question your decision he was furious with Naruto for assaulting him and yet nothing was done about it, and then he has problems with Kurenai and the rest of his team, although Kurenai is a fine Kunoichi she was not the best choice for Sasuke-san."

Hiruzen is not happy that the Uchiha brat seems to think he knows better at decision making than he does bangs his fist down on the table plus the so-called assault was more him defending a classmate.

"It seems you don't know the fact Koharu so I will inform you as to what happened your precious Uchiha attempted to assault as a classmate who only asked him if they could have lunch together but Sasuke who was bitter about not getting which he believed was his tittle lashed out but was stopped by Naruto and restrained yes I admit he may have been a bit heavy-handed but I don't stand for bullies, he could have just said no but no he attempted to hit Sakura Haruno."

"As for Sasuke coming to you well it seems he seems to think he has more power than he actually does, yes Kurenai is a newly made Jōnin but that Sasuke can bully her into getting what he wants as well as thinking he can bully his teammates, he needs to realize the world does not revolve around Sasuke Uchiha, my decision is final."

He shakes his head before continuing "Now I think you've wasted enough of my time with this joke of a conversation so this meeting is over and you two or you Danzō if I find out you call a meeting again without permission I will have to send you to Ibiki to be educated in your roles as my advisers do you understand me."

Hiruzen stands up and leaves with the Clan heads shaking their heads before following, leaving the elders and the rest of the council Seething at being put in their place by Hiruzen, especially Danzō.
Several days later, Kakashi's just left his team after more D-ranks when an ANBU appears in front of him "Kakashi-senpai, you have been summoned by the Elders in the council room."

Kakashi looks up from his book "Oh, I see lead the way then." 'I wonder what this is about although I have my suspicions, especially after what the Lord Hokage told me, it seems there forgetting their place again.'

After following the ANBU he enters the Council room and sees the Elders there and a few of the Councilmen also.

Kakashi bows to the Elders "Honoured Elders, to what do I owe the unexpected summons."

Homura looks at Kakashi "We are the Elders we summon whomever we want, but enough about that we are ordering you to Train Sasuke Uchiha."

Kakashi raises an eyebrow "Oh, I wasn't aware that Sasuke was my student, I believe he is Kurenai's"

Danzo scoffs "Do not be a smart arse Kakashi Hatake, we are your betters you do as we tell you, you are first to ignore your current Team and prioritize Sasuke Uchiha over everyone do I make myself clear Kakashi Hatake."

Kakashi rolls his eyes "Sorry to disappoint you Elders and councilmen, but you see I work for the Hokage, and as none of you are the Hokage I will have to say NO, I think you three are under the misconception that you have the power to order me around, Elders you may be The Hokage you are not, the moment I became a Shinobi I work for the Hokage, not you, so as I know what your after I will have to inform the Hokage I don't think he'd be best pleased that his advisers are going behind his back so Ta-ta."

Before they can stop him he goes up in smoke showing them that at some point he must have switched with a clone

As soon as the Clone went up in smoke the Original sighs "It is as I suspected Lord Hokage, they went behind your back and told me to ignore my team and focus only on Sasuke."

Hiruzen pours some KI out and shakes his head "Those fools go behind my back even after I told them what would happen, he clicks his finger, and Dragon the leader of the ANBU appears he was talking to the Hokage before Kakashi arrived.

Dragon bows "Lord Hokage what are your orders."

Hiruzen looks up "Get 10 of your best make sure Neko is one of them and arrest the 3 Elders and the Councilmen in the Council room."

Kakashi smiles "Dragon, I placed a Seal on the door they can't leave there trapped in there I'm sure they're still plotting."

Dragon nods "Thanks Kakashi." He turns to Hiruzen "To Ibiki it is then Lord Hokage."

Meanwhile, back in the council room there still arguing, Homura shakes her head "What are we going to do he will inform the Hokage."

Danzō scoffs "You worry too much that man is a spineless fool, he won't do anything to us"

One of the Councilmen a chubby man who is also the Administrator of the Academy shakes his head "You heard what Lord Hokage said he'd send us to Ibiki, I can't stand up to torture, if that happens I'll tell them everything."

Danzō looks at the weak individual "You dare attempt to Blackmail us Satoshi, remember who put you in your position."

The now-named Satoshi looks guilty "I owe you everyone Danzō-sama, but I'm not a ninja I'm a civilian I can't survive an interrogation Ibiki's a monster he's insane."

Danzō shakes his head "Then maybe we should save Ibiki the trouble and kill you now."

Satoshi and the other councilmen who are scared of Hiruzen and Danzō back off Homura and Koharu are shocked also luckily for Satoshi before Danzō can do anything the door opens and they all turn to see Dragon enter along with Neko and 18 other ANBU.

Dragon smiles behind his Mask "Oh sorry did I interrupt something I wasn't aware there was a council meeting and without the Hokage and Clan heads present it also looks to me Village Elder Danzō that you were about to cause trouble, unfortunately, you were warned by Lord Hokage about what would happen if you went behind his back so Village Elders, Councilmen, you are all under arrest."

Danzō not expecting that Hiruzen would actually grow a backbone after so many years is quite angry luckily for him he had a contingency plan, he scoffs "Utter fools."

After that, he goes up In smoke showing everyone that he was a Clone all along. Dragon shakes his head but before the others can react there all being restrained by the ANBU, with Neko tightening the Chakra cuffs of Koharu tighter than normal.

She knows that Koharu was to blame for planning to have Naruto kicked out of the Orphanage, even though Anko took him in there was already a plan in place to kick him out and she found out that the Matron was an old friend of Koharu but also kept written records of her meetings with Koharu in case she had to Blackmail her.

Yūgao herself after becoming Naruto's Sensei looked into it herself and what she found infuriated her so she copied everything and gave the Originals to the Hokage, not only was the Matron barely feeding Naruto but his room was in the Basement.

She was also stealing money from Naruto as even though Naruto was in the Orphanage the Hokage gave him some money, money he never received even once, as she found it all in the Matron's safe, all in letters with Naruto's name on them.

Dragon nods to the ANBU "Take them to Ibiki and Anko, I'm sure the Hokage will be along shortly"

The ANBU Shunshin away with their captives but Dragon sighs "Danzō escaped, I bet he had a plan I have to report this to the Hokage."

Dragon Shunshin's away also appearing in the Hokage's office and along with Kakashi and the Hokage, they've been joined by Kurenai Yūhi as she's again complaining about Sasuke and what he said to her.

Dragon nods to Hiruzen who lifts his hand telling Dragon to wait Dragon just listens into the conversation.

"As I was saying the attitude of Sasuke Uchiha is disgusting, he outright insults Hinata, her confidence is already low because of her father, becoming Naruto's friend has helped but ever since the teams were assigned he treats her like shit, insults her apart of it I'm not surprised though the Uchiha and Hyūga clans hate each other I think it's much worse because of Hinata's timid nature he hasn't outright attacked her but I fear he could."

She shakes her head "He insults Shino also but Shino is a hard man to understand, he keeps his emotions in check but I feel that it's only a matter of time until things explode into conflict, then there's me he openly calls me a weakling, says I'm unfit to be a Jōnin that the Ninja world is a man's game all women are good for is producing babies he even told me that he may allow myself to help him restore his clan If I prove myself to him."

Hiruzen slammed his fist on the desk "That pathetic little shit, how dare he, I've had enough of his attitude, I will deal with the brat myself, you can go Kurenai, and thank you for informing me of the situation concerning your team."

Kurenai nods she glances at the ANBU before leaving, and Hiruzen looks at Dragon "Report."

Dragon steps forward "Everything almost went well, as soon I opened the door Danzō was about to do something although not sure what suffice to say nothing happened all except Danzō were captured once Danzō saw us he called us fools before vanishing via Shunshin."

Hiruzen sighs "He will go top ground he will have to be dealt with eventually, the others where are they"

Dragon immediately answers "They are with Ibiki and Anko if she's there."

Hiruzen nods his head "Very good, I will be there shortly." Dragon bows before vanishing Hiruzen looks at Kakashi "How is your team doing since Kurenai was able to help Sakura, a job YOU, should have dealt with I might add."

Kakashi looks down in shame at that "Since Kurenai was able to help Sakura things are going well, I admit this is my first team, I did ask for Sasuke also but a part of me is glad I didn't get him, plus I doubt Naruto would have put up with him he'd probably kill him. As for the team there progressing well, Naruto is by far the strongest of the team, Sakura the smartest and Kiba in the middle."

He chuckles "Out of the 3 Sakura has changed the most she's taking her training seriously, after you spoke to her she's been getting books from the library on Iryōjutsu, I have quizzed her on it and she's coming along nicely, I've taught her a few Genjutsu's although I don't know many, her Stamina is improving physically she's the Weakest of the Team but both Naruto and Kiba have helped her but probably Akamaru the most."

Hiruzen and Kakashi chuckle at that, Kakashi then continues "Kiba, has calmed down some he's still a hothead, but not as bad, he does get distracted seeing pretty ladies but he's a growing boy, his clan Jutsu's are coming along nicely also he and Naruto make a great tag-team, with Sakura the brains."

Hiruzen smiles "Well this is good to hear Sakura has improved which is always good so I look forward to how your team progresses, do you think they're ready for a higher-ranked mission."

Kakashi thinks carefully before answering "I do think there ready, I know both Naruto and Kiba are anxious to do stronger missions as does Sakura she may think she's not ready but I think she is, I say give it a few days maybe next week, and then I'd say yes there ready."

Hiruzen nods and stands up "Very well, I will give them until next week, even my son said his team is ready I'm not so sure but I will see, enjoy the rest of your day Kakashi I have some business to deal with if you will excuse me."

Kakashi nods "Of course, Lord Hokage." Kakashi then uses Shunshin.

Hiruzen sighs "Danzō, I will have to deal with you old friend." He then leaves the room heading to the T & I department.

A few minutes later Ibiki, Anko, and Inoichi are all talking they've separated everyone and are just waiting for the Hokage, they hear the door open and all bow to the Hokage, "OK, everyone I don't need to tell you your job do whatever it takes, I want to know everything they've done since Naruto's birth."

At the mention of Naruto, Anko looks at the Hokage "Does this have to do with Naruto."

Hiruzen shakes his head "Not directly, the elders went behind my back and tried ordering Kakashi to ignore his team and only train their precious Uchiha he refused, and now they're here, do what must be done."

He turns away before they reply they all look at each other and then grin well 2 of the 3 grins, Inoichi just shakes his head 'Those two are nuts.'

Several days later, and Team 7 are being escorted to the Hokage's tower for more missions, Naruto and Kiba share a look and nod, and Sakura smiles but shakes her head knowing what there going to do, not that she can blame them.

Once they arrive Hiruzen smiles remembering what he and Kakashi discussed "Welcome Kakashi and Team 7 I heard all of the now named Rookie 11 had a BBQ I'm glad your all bonding, even if Team 9 must have been new to you all."

Sakura inwardly shudders remembering Rock Lee and those things on his face that he calls eyebrows, he was a nice guy if not creepy, even Naruto thought he was weird but he was a cool guy to Naruto now Neji that's a different story altogether one emo was bad enough but 2 that's pushing it.

Kiba grins "Yea, it was great, man I wonder how Neji got that Tree stuck up his ass, you get it right guys tree instead of Branch."

All of Team 7 roll their eyes Sakura groans "You've told us that like 3 times already, although I do admit he's a bit of a jerk."

Naruto shrugs "Yea, an S-ranked Jerk that's for sure, Tenten's nice though."

Kiba grins "What's this does Naruto have a crush on Panda."

Naruto slaps Kiba on the back of the head (NCIS Gibbs Slap) "Shut up moron, Ten-chan's a nice girl."

Sakura grins "Oh so it's Ten-chan is it now."

Naruto blushes "Zip it Pinky."

Everyone laughs at the teasing especially Hiruzen 'It seems Naruto's a bit of a lady's man.'

Naruto shakes his head "Your all idiots, So Jiji, give me a C-rank already, but keep giving Kiba D-ranks don't forget the contract you signed with Tsume-san."

Hiruzen chuckles knowing there's no contract as does Sakura and Kakashi, Sakura just giggles knowing how much Naruto loves to tease Kiba.

Kiba looks shocked "Wait what contract why do I have to do D-ranks while they do C-ranks, that's not fair why would my mum do that."

Hiruzen chuckled "There is no contract Kiba-san."

Naruto looks at Sakura who giggles and he smirks "Man Kiba you are so gullible it's almost not funny anymore."

Kiba sighs in relief "Damn I thought you were being serious."

Hiruzen coughs "OK Team 7 there is a C-rank mission that I think you can deal with, The Mayor of Tanzuka Town has put in a request he bought a large shipment of Silks and Alcohol from here, and it needs to be transported there, the mission should be pretty straight forward but there has been word of Bandits on the road, so be careful."

Sakura speaks up "Is there an event or something."

Hiruzen smiles at Sakura "That is correct Sakura-chan, there is a Wedding that should coincide with your arrival, feel free to stay for the party, the mission shouldn't take too long just don't overdo it and act professionally Kiba-san, we are Shinobi of Konoha, do not make a fool of yourselves, but otherwise enjoy yourselves."

Kakashi smiles "Well you heard the Hokage, pack for a month I highly doubt it will take that long but always be prepared, I'll see you at the gate in an hour."

Naruto smirks "So is that 3 hours then, there won't be any Black Cats on the road will there."

Sakura continues "Or Old Lady's"

Kiba continues "Or Trips down the Road of Life."

Kakashi gives them an eye smile and Hiruzen chuckles, "Be there in an hour" He then Shunshin's away, and the others all nod Naruto uses Shunshin also, and Sakura and Kiba just leave.
