Hi guys! Here's the next chapter. Tohru has an interesting experience. What could it be? Read on and find out.
MONTH 7
My space kept getting smaller and I started to feel closer to the squishy wall. Aside from that, another change has happened. I can finally see, but not very well. I was awakened by something, and I opened my eyes. It still seemed dark, but not as much. I moved my hands close to me so I could get a good look at them. My vision wasn't great, but I could make out the hands and it looked like they had little things poking out from the top of them.
So, these are hands?
I tried to look for my feet, but I couldn't see anything below me. I did notice something in front of me. It was a long tube-like thing. I touched it and it felt weird. I felt around and it seemed like it went on and on.
Whatever this is, I better not mess with it.
I don't know why my space feels smaller, but I had to find a comfortable spot. I used my hands and feet to help me move around and I felt the voice's poke as usual.
Must you poke me every time I move voice?
I finally found my comfortable spot and tried to enter my peaceful state. It took a while, but soon fell asleep. It wasn't long till I woke to the sound of multiple muffled voices. Even though I couldn't understand what they were saying, they sure seemed loud. Suddenly I felt slight movement outside the squishy wall. Something was touching outside the squishy wall, but it seemed like there was more than one! There was slight movement in different areas, and I started getting poked multiple times.
What's going on now?!
I kicked a few times and even pushed my hand into the squishy wall. The muffled voices reacted to my movement, and they also seemed louder. The voice made that laughing noise again.
"I told you she'd react," said the voice
Enough with the poking! I'm trying to sleep.
How could I sleep when I keep hearing those muffled voices? They wouldn't stay quiet and went on for quite some time. I started to feel irritated. I kicked at the squishy wall and moved around to find a new comfortable spot.
"She's at it again," said the voice
At what? I don't get it.
I still can't understand the voice, but I wish it would make the noise of those muffled voices stop. The noise continued and the muffled voices even made weird noises I've never heard before. Ugh! I wish they would go away so I could sleep some more.
"She's going to look so cute in these booties!" said the voice happily
What's a bootie?
I don't know what is going on, but I heard the voice say other things like: bibs, diapers, toys, clothes. What are these things and why is the voice so happy about them? I got a feeling that I'm going to find out, but I don't know how or why. Those muffled voices continued to be loud, and something was touching outside the squishy wall again.
Go away! Leave me alone!
Just when I thought I couldn't take it anymore, the muffled voices were beginning to fade. It was starting to get quiet again. Good! Now I can finally relax and get some sleep. I closed my eyes and listened to ba-bump ba-bump ba-bump ba-bump. That's my favorite sound. I was at peace again. I soon fell asleep. Later on, I woke up to the voice and the familiar muffled voice.
"Your coworkers are so nice Katsuya. They didn't have to throw me a baby shower," said the voice
Baby shower? What's that all about?
The voice and the muffled voice went back and forth. Ugh! I wish that they made sense to me. I suddenly felt slight movement from outside the squishy wall and then some poking. I know that the voice was doing that. I kicked at the squishy wall and the voice reacted happily along with the familiar muffled voice.
"I can't wait till she's here with us," said the voice
I had to find a new comfortable spot. I used my hands and feet to move about again. Once I found it, I tried to go back to sleep. The voice and the muffled voice went on for a while, but it was soon quiet again. I was finally able to drift off to sleep again thanks to my favorite sound.
End of Chapter 7. Tohru can now finally see (well not really). It's a known fact that babies can open their eyes in the womb at or around 27 weeks. I doubt they can really see anything, but they're able to tell when it's day and night. How weird is that? It won't be long till Tohru moves out of her one-bedroom apartment. Anyways, I'll post the next chapter soon.
