One thing you can count on - if there's a guest star in the episode, they've got a connection to a Dodge City local and there's going to be trouble. Wouldn't it be nice if - just for once - someone could show up and not have any issues? I don't own the characters from the show or the setting or even a DVD set.

I have dedicated this to the different types of poems I'll be writing in regards to Gunsmoke and its characters.

Matt & Kitty visit Bill Pence & Laura Simmons in Pueblo where the couple now live only to have Matt's hoped for recovery from his returned blindness complicated by Cope Borden's end of Hot Spell threat haunt them.

This story is about Matt, Kitty, and Ruby, but won't be with my "The Dillons: A Treasured Family." This will be a multi-chapter story. Normally I update "The Dillons: A Treasured Family" weekly. That won't be updated as I will be working on this story. I wish you could add more than 4 characters. There will be others besides the ones listed.

A young and beautiful woman arrives in Dodge from Matt's past. (Yes, another one!)

This is a sequel to "Double Edge Sword." If you haven't had a chance, you might want to read that story first. What happens when Abby's biological father shows up? I'm not sure on the number of chapters. No matter the length, I hope you enjoy it. (Matt, Kitty, Doc, and Festus will be in this story, but it will also have other characters in it.)

Doc summons an unconventional lady alienist to treat Wells Latham for shock over the death of his twin brother who killed himself, a lecherous ruffian beats Wells and Matt rescues him from a worse fate, and the alienist comes calling as Wells lies wounded at the jailhouse. A sequel to Ghost Town. 4 chapters: 1) Wells Unravels, 2) Darkness Lurks, 3) The Attack, 4) Wells' Choice

After four years away from Dodge, Kitty returns married with children. (Like I've said before, I am very bad at this summary thing).

Matt goes to investigate after a report of something lurking in the darkness outside of Dodge.

A Dodge citizen sees parallels between Matt's reaction to Kitty facing Nip Cullers in Tap Day for Kitty & Henry Cairn in The Dreamers 6 1/2 years later. It just popped into my head as I watched The Dreamers yesterday & thought of a friend's comment that Matt could have done more for Kitty. Not exactly MMs, just a deeper look at a relationship from an observer's POV.

Change of Plans! This will now be a three chapter story of some MM's from "Kitty Shot." I know stories of MM's from "Kitty Shot" have been written, but this is my version of what I think happened. I don't own any of the characters.
