Chapter 22: Powers!

"Wait, wait, wait, so your telling me that I'm a princess of some long lost kingdom of angels?" I asked. He nodded his head 'yes' this couldn't be real, there was no way. "There's NO way I could be the princess of anything, how do we even know this kingdom exists." He shrugged his shoulders and said "We don't but, in the story it say's that you'll gain all of your powers on your 18th birthday, so I guess we will see then." Jasper said. I looked at Emmett and said "This can't be happening."
I sat there shocked at what was happening. I kept playing over all the memories of me, my brother, my mom, and my "dad". All of that couldn't be fake, right? I shook my head and turned to look at everyone. "Ok, so we won't be able to find out if I'm the princess in this legend until my 18th birthday? Carlisle nodded his head and said "According to the legend, yes." I nodded my head and then an idea popped into my head. "Wait, what if we try to activate my powers before my 18th birthday, then we might be able to get some answers sooner than 3 months." Emmett's grip on me tightened, "Are you sure, it sounds like your powers aren't supposed to enable until your 18, this could be risky" said Carlisle. I took a deep breath and gave it some thought before I answered. "Yes, the sooner I can get the powers working, the sooner we can all get some answers about what is going on.
"He turned his head to Esme with a questing look on his face. She nodded her head and and smiled, Carlisle turned back towards me and said "Sydney you know Esme and I think of you as our daughter and we don't want you to get hurt. But we understand and will be here to help you." I smiled and walked over to them, I hadn't had a real mom and dad in a long time. I t felt so good to have a family who really care about my well being. I pulled both of them into a hug and said "Thank you, for everything." We shared a moment with each other before I walked over to everyone else and hugged and thanked them.
I then walked over at Emmett with a a smile. I sat back down beside him and kissed his lips. When I pulled away everyone was gone, I figured it was probably Alice who told them. I grabbed both of his hands and said "Emmett, I love you with all of my heart. And….there will never be enough word to every describe how much you mean to me. You make my days fill with sunshine rather that rain clouds. You make me laugh even when I am feeling my worst. You make me a better person everyday and I can't thank you enough. Not only for being,well… you, but for also being there for me and loving me when I thought I was unlovable." A huge grin made its way onto his face, the smile brought butterflies to my tummy. He responded "I love you to, more than anything in this world." He bent his head down and cupped my cheek, moving his face closer and closer until our lips were met together. Our mouths worked together in a beautiful symphony of love. His large hands moved to my lower back pulling me closer to him. I let my hand rest on his arms as our mouths moved together. I soon felt his tongue running along my bottom lip, knowing what he wanted I denied his request. A possessive growl left his lips and he stood up and picked me up in his arms. Our lips didn't detach during this and the complete unexpectedness of having him pick me up caused me to let out a gasp. His tongue invaded my mouth causing the flavor of Emmett Cullen to ignite. A soft moan left my lips as he continued to basically shove his tongue down my throat. I pulled away to breathe, but wasn't placed down. Emmett held onto me tighter and told me to hold on. He dashed upstairs into our room and closed the door, locking it behind him. I knew exactly were this was going and was a little nervous. I had been wanting Emmett this way for so long and finally I could. After that dream I had of us in the shower, my want for Emmett only became stronger. He placed me down on the bed and climbed on top of me. He kept his weight off of me by supporting himself on his hand that rested on the bed beside me. He removed his lips from mine and looked me in the eyes. "Are you sure you want to do this Sid?" I nodded my head without any hesitation.
HEY GUYS I'M BACK. I know it has been over a MONTH since I've posted but I really needed a break. I know it sounds like an excuse and to be honest it is, but I really needed to stop writing for a bit because I was very quickly losing interest in this story. And I truly didn't expect to have so many of you actually read this story. I was having some writers block and decided to take a break but now I'm back and SO excited to be posting again. The upload schedule has changed from every Sunday to once every week. I have decided to finish this story before I continue Love is not a Sin. So that story is on hold until this one is finished. But I'm so sorry for being gone and thank you for staying tuned. I love all of you my wonderful readers - TwilightFanGirl_1
