"Good morning!" Vivi said as Marvelous came up the stairs.
"Hey, Bird. Let's have the next fortune," he said.
"I'm taking a break today. I can't just force them out, ya know!" Navi said.
"We don't have time for your break! And none of your half-baked prophecies, either! I want something concrete that'll tell us what we need to know for once!" he said, grabbing ahold of Navi.
The rest of the crew came out of the kitchen.
"It's not that easy!"
"I don't care! Just do it!"
"I can't!"
"Well, Marvelous seems kinda irritable, doesn't he?" Chip asked.
"I bet that trouble with Basco's behind it," Joe suggested.
"Oh, right. If Basco can find the holder of an ultimate power, he can just steal it from them, can't he?" Doc asked. "I guess we shouldn't be so laid back about it, but..."
"Just tell me! Cough it up, bird brain!"
"I'm telling you, I can't!"
"I don't care!"
Robin got up & took Navi from him.
"Listen feather-face, I've had enough of your—"
"Hey! Simmer down, now," she said.
"Thanks, Robin!"
"Marvelous. Perhaps you should sit down and enjoy a cup of tea?" Vivi suggested.
"I'd like one too," a voice said. "How're ya going?" he asked, turning a corner into the room.
"Who're—?" Marvelous asked.
"Mack Hartford. I was the Red Ranger of Operation Overdrive," Mack said, shaking his hand. "I entrusted you with our ultimate power, remember?"
A flashback to the movie showed Mack amongst the Ranger spirit projections.
"Wait, you guys know Mack Hartford!?" Chip asked.
"Sure looks like it," Navi said.
"Whoa! Ah, it's a pleasure to meet you! My name's Chip! If you wouldn't mind, umm...would you please sign this?" he said, getting an autograph book & pen out.
"How did you get in here?" Joe asked.
"I could infiltrate a ship like this & be back in time for breakfast," Mack said, taking the book & pen, then began to write his signature in it.
"I don't care about what you're eating or when. What do you want from us?" Marvelous asked, sitting in his chair.
"Don't tell me. You're here to take back your Ranger Keys!?" Doc asked, worried.
"You earned those fair & square on your adventures through space. I can't speak for the other Ranger teams, but Overdrive has no issue with you," Mack said, then handed Chip his stuff back.
"So, what do you want from us?" Robin asked.
"I'd like you to help me in uncovering a treasure."
"'Treasure'?"
"Ancient relics with powers that modern science isn't capable of controlling, or, in other words, treasure."
"Relics...? Wait, treasure!?" Robin asked.
"It's the adventure of a lifetime. The treasure we're after is the Heart of Hades."
"Prince Vekar. Levira's unit has finally pinpointed the artifact," Biorg said.
"Excellent!" Vekar responded.
"They say the Heart of Hades is capable of reviving the dead. Who would've thought it would be on Earth of all places?" Damaras said.
"If used properly, it could prove of great assistance to our invasion strategy," Vekar said. "We must obtain it, no matter the cost!"
"What should we do?" Doc asked. "We do owe him a debt for giving us his ultimate power..."
"Sorry, but we don't have the time for your little treasure hunt," Marvelous said.
"I see. I'd thought for pirates like you, this'd be a piece of cake, but if you can't handle it, there's nothing I can do," Mack said, then got up.
"What was that?" Marvelous asked.
"Am I wrong?"
Marvelous stood up.
"Oh, we're swimming in confidence. Right, Marvelous?" Robin asked. "We can hardly back down from a challenge like that, can we?"
"I guess so."
"He got us to follow, hook, line, & sinker, didn't he?" Doc asked as they hiked up a hill.
"Personally, I believe this could be quite enjoyable. I'm pretty psyched. Secret treasures are so tempting!" Robin responded.
"I don't care about that. Let's just get this done with," Marvelous said.
"Oh, what's the rush?" Mack asked.
"What's with your inconsistent accent?"
"Well, this is a surprise," Levira said. "If it isn't the wanted pirates."
She stood off the trail with some Bruisers.
"Huh? What's an Armada Commander doing here?" Chip asked.
"Oh my. Don't tell me you're after the Heart of Hades too?" she asked.
"What?" Mack asked.
"Well, I'm afraid we'll be relieving you of that burden."
Some X-Borgs appeared.
"We can't let them get in our way," Mack said.
"There's no way around it," Joe said, pulling up his sleeves & stepping towards the X-Borgs. "Leave this to us, & go on ahead."
"Appreciate it. Come on, let's go," Mack said & began to walk more.
"Huh?" Marvelous asked.
"Come on, now!" Robin told them & pushed them along, then fired her blaster back at the X-Borgs. "Have fun with that!" she said, then went with them.
Joe flipped up his key.
"Let's go," he said.
"It's Morphin Time!"
"Pirate Crew!"
"Silver Spear!"
They started fighting the X-Borgs, each taking on a few. After that, a Bruiser came in & fired on them.
"What irritating pirates," Levira said, annoyed.
"Everybody! Why don't we tackle this ninja-style?" Chip suggested, getting the Ninja Storm Samurai Ranger Key out & inserted it into his Morpher.
"Very well," Vivi said as they got keys out & changed.
"Power Switch!"
"Ninja Storm!"
"Aquitar Rangers!"
"Huh? Those are the Aquitar Rangers!"
"You said 'ninja.' What's the problem?" Joe asked.
"Well...it's just...I don't really have a spot, in their lineup..." Chip said as they charged in.
"Let's begin," Vivi said, then drew some throwing stars. She then threw them at the X-Borgs.
Doc then came out of the ground & bounced around them.
"Hidden Style: Earthen Concealment!"
Joe then back-flipped in & took on some more.
The other 3 were walking forward.
"How much further until your treasure?" Marvelous asked.
"I thought I told you not to rush. There's a difference between rushing & haste."
"You think I care about your semantics?" he said, then walked forward, but Mack tripped him. "What are you doing!?" he asked, then a metal dart shot out & hit the wall behind him.
"Be careful. On an adventure like this, traps like this are commonplace," Mack said, stepping forward, but then Robin tripped him & another dart whizzed by.
"Sure looks like it," she said.
"Not bad," Mack said & she helped him up.
Marvelous thought back. He was in a cave with the Red Spirit. They were going slowly until he saw what they were looking for & started to run ahead, but the Spirit grabbed him & pulled him back & some explosions went off.
"Marvelous? What's the matter?" she asked him.
"It's nothing..."
They continued up a hill. Mack tried to help Robin up, but she got up just fine & high-fived his hand. Marvelous then stopped & turned outside of a cave.
"Here we go," Mack said.
"What's that?" Robin asked, seeing a figure come out of it. "A Bruiser!?" she asked & it fell to the ground with a sword in its back. Mack walked forward, then peered into the cave, seeing an X-Borg & another Bruiser on the ground with swords sticking out of them.
"Take a look at this," he said.
"What the—!?" Robin asked.
"Something's waiting for us up ahead."
"Hm. Things are getting interesting," Marvelous said.
"Yeah. Not a bad adventure, right?" Mack asked.
They all walked into the cave. Mack flashed a light on to the wall in front of them.
"Huh?" Robin asked & ran to the wall, seeing a symbol on it. "It's a dead end," she said after examining it.
Mack looked down & saw another symbol on the ground.
"You guys, come stand on here," he said & they all went to stand on the symbol. As soon as Robin stepped on, it glowed & a door opened on the wall. "Looks like it's a pressure-sensitive mechanism."
"Nice!" Robin yelled & stepped forward. The door closed. "We can open the door, but we still can't get in! What are we going to do?"
"This," Marvelous said, drawing his blaster, then shot at the ceiling. He shot in a circle & a rock came down, replacing them on the symbol after they hopped off it. The door opened again.
"Sweet!" Robin exclaimed. "That was a little overboard, but I'm glad you're getting into it!" she said, running over to Marvelous.
"Getting into what?" he asked.
Mack looked into the doorway & a light shined. The other 2 saw it too.
"Masters of the depths of Tartarus! I bid you restore my master to life!" a Lava Lizard said, putting the Heart into a body lying on the casket in front of him as they entered the room.
A bright light shown, then it disintegrated as the Heart went into the body. He sat up straight, turned, then stood up.
"Moltor," Mack said.
"I live! I live!" Moltor exclaimed.
"I thought the Lava Lizards might've been behind this."
"It's been a while, Overdrive Red. Or should I say, Mack Hartford."
"Who the heck's he?" Marvelous asked.
"He's the leader of the Lava Lizards, Moltor," Mack said.
"I died when I went to see my brother. Temporarily, that is," Moltor said.
"Yeah, for over a decade."
"And here I am, returned from the depths of the void. Thanks to this," he said & the Heart glowed again.
"That's..." Robin started.
"The Heart of Hades. The treasure we were trying to recover," Mack said. "It can revive the dead & grant them limitless power."
"And what better way to test this new power of mine than on you?" Moltor said. He then moved fastly passed them through the doorway. Marvelous drew his blaster, but was too late. "Farewell, Mack Hartford! May you perish here with your pathetic little friends!" he yelled, then threw a fireball up at the ceiling, which started to crumble around them.
"Fire Sword!" Chip yelled & spat fire at the Bruisers with the sword.
"Looks like I'll have to take you down, personally," Levira said.
"Bring it on!" Chip retorted as they all lined back up.
She was about to attack, but then got slashed at from off-screen. She turned around, then twisted around & fell to the ground. The slash wave then went to the Rangers, who were blasted backwards, knocked back by it, & forced back into their regular suits.
"Oh, this power is truly splendid!" Moltor stated as he came up to them.
"Who are you!?" Levira asked.
"Wait, he's not with the Armada!?" Joe asked.
"With the power of this Treasure, I shall eliminate all who stand in my way," Moltor said.
"He's already absorbed the Heart of Hades. I suppose I have no choice but to retreat," Levira said & beamed out of there.
The Rangers stood back up.
"I don't care who you are. You shall not get in my way."
Back in the cave, the 3 rangers were unconscious. Suddenly, they all started to wake up.
"Are you all right?" Mack asked.
"We're pirates. Like you need to ask," Marvelous retorted.
"What about you?" Robin asked.
"I'm an Ranger. Like you need to ask," he retorted.
"Well, that Heart of yours was taken, & now we're trapped here. Guess your adventure was for nothing," Marvelous said as they got up.
"'For nothing'? You really think so?"
"What're you getting at?"
"How many adventures have you been on with all the places you've been? It's not just about treasure. Surely you've found things more important than that, inside yourselves?"
"Inside us?"
"When an adventurer is faced with true peril, that's what fuels them. The thrill of the adventure is the most important treasure of them all. I've learned that over this last decade traveling with my dad. Don't you think?"
"The thrill of adventure..." Marvelous said, then thought back to the past again.
The Red Spirit pulled him back before the shots went off, then started walking forward. Marvelous then pushed him forward on to the ground & some more shots went off above them. The Spirit then looked at him & he smirked back at him. They then cleared some rocks & found the Overdrive Red Key. They then looked at it in Marvelous' hand, then it flashed back to the present.
"Man...you love to talk, don't you?" he asked.
"So, what are we gonna do about that Treasure?" Robin asked.
"Now that it's been absorbed into Moltor's body, it'll be impossible to retrieve it."
"We have no choice but to destroy it," Mack answered.
"Nope. It's not over yet," Marvelous said.
"What?"
"We're going to show you how pirates do things," he said, getting up.
"Now that's more like it!" Robin said, getting up too.
Marvelous twirled his blaster & they both shot the rocks blocking the doorway.
Doc & Vivi were in the air as explosions were behind them, as were Joe & Chip. They then landed on the ground, demorphed.
"Pathetic! Begone, at the hands of my reborn power..." Moltor said,then his sword was shot out of his hand. The Rangers looked behind them.
"Marvelous!" Doc exclaimed.
"So, you survived? You'll soon be wishing you hadn't," Moltor said, then Marvelous smirked at him. "To stand against me is to place yourself in mortal peril. Allow me to demonstrate..."
"I hear peril is supposed to stir your heart. Wanna put that to the test?" Marvelous said, holding up his key. "Let's do this!"
"Right!"
"Okay!"
They flipped their keys.
"It's Morphin Time!"
"Pirate Crew!"
"Pirate Crew Red."
"Pirate Crew Blue."
"Pirate Crew Yellow."
"Pirate Crew Green."
"Pirate Crew Pink."
"Pirate Crew Silver!"
"Power Rangers Pirate Crew!"
"Let's make it showy!" Marvelous yelled & they charged in, clashing blades with Moltor.
"Come on!" Chip exclaimed, taking him on by himself. Moltor then overtook him & flung him back on the ground. "Go for it, guys!"
They charged up the Final Wave.
"Pirate Scramble!" Marvelous exclaimed, then they slashed & blasted.
"Final Wave!"
The blasts combined, then Moltor caught the blast on his sword.
"No way..."
Moltor then slashed the blast & the Rangers, who were flung backwards into the woods behind them.
"With the Heart of Hades in my grasp, none can stand against me!"
"I guess he's the real deal!" Doc exclaimed.
"Interesting," Marvelous said, then flipped his belt buckle. "Let's try these."
"Right!" Chip said.
"Power Switch!"
"Operation Overdrive!"
"What!? Overdrive?" Moltor asked.
"The pirate version, that is," Marvelous responded. "Let's go!"
"Drive Vortex!" Joe yelled.
"Drive Geyser!" Vivi yelled.
"Drive Detector!" Chip yelled.
They then shot at Moltor, who deflected the blasts with his sword. Robin & Doc then charged at him.
"Drive Slammer!" Doc yelled.
"Drive Claws!" Robin yelled.
He caught their weapons with his sword, then he pushed them then charged passed them.
"Drive Lance!" he yelled, then went for the heart. Moltor then caught it in his hand.
"I know what you're trying to do, but do you really think I'll let you destroy the Heart of Hades!?" Moltor exclaimed, then pushed him back a step. "It's over!" he yelled, then flipped him over him.
"Now!" Marvelous yelled & the Lance clamped on to Moltor's wrist.
"What!?" Moltor yelled.
"It's not over yet!" Marvelous said. "Chip!"
"Right! Here goes!" he said, then they charged up the team blaster. "Drill Blaster! Go!" he yelled, then they fired on him.
Moltor deflected it, but it made cement on his feet.
"Curse you Rangers!"
"Tough luck. We're not just Rangers, we're pirates. That means when we want something, we take it!" he exclaimed, then reached out & grabbed the Heart.
He then started to pull it out of his chest. Energy enveloped it & it exploded when he finally got it out. Moltor then fell over.
"Catch!" he yelled, then threw the Heart to Mack, who caught it.
"Good job!" he said, giving him a thumbs up.
The Rangers turned back to their normal suits. Moltor then stood back up & energy started coming from him.
"His body's still affected by the Heart's regenerative abilities," Mack stated. "Finish him off while you have the chance!"
"Right!" Chip said. "Let me handle this!" he kicked Moltor back, then opened his belt buckle & formed the anchor key.
"Gold Anchor Key! Power change!" he inserted the key & the armor was put on him. "Silver Ranger, Gold Mode!" he said. "I'm in the silver spotlight!" he exclaimed, then got his Key & flipped it up, then inserted it into the spear.
"Final Wave!"
"Ranger Combination Strike!"
The past Rangers slashed Moltor, then he finished him off. The energy enveloped him, then he grew giant.
"This is bad. His regeneration's gone totally out of control!" Mack yelled.
"All right. Come forth, Q-Rex Drill!" Chip announced, entering the code on his Morpher.
"Q-Rex Drill, Launching! Q-Rex, Dino Mode!"
"Q-Rex, ready!"
"Megazord Combine!" the others yelled. "Megazord SPD Form, ready!"
They stood ready. The energy from Moltor came at them.
"What's with him!?" Chip yelled.
"He's gone totally feral," Doc exclaimed.
"Focus!" Marvelous announced, then spun his wheel.
"Pirate Full Blast!" they all yelled as the Megazord shot lasers at Moltor, which he deflected.
"Q-Rex Drill! Q-Rex Laser!" Chip yelled, then hit Moltor with both. "Now's your chance!"
Marvelous inserted another key into the wheel.
"Let's go! Pirate Magical Bind!" they all announced, then the Mystic Dragon flew out of the Megazord & wrapped Moltor up in a bind, but he broke free.
"What!?"
"No way..."
He then launched lightning at them & struck the Megazord.
"What're we gonna do, Marvelous!?" Robin asked. Marvelous looked at Moltor.
"All right," he said, then got out the Overdrive Red Key. "Let's use the Overdrive ultimate power."
"R-Really? Are you sure it'll work?" Doc asked.
"Think of it as a little adventure. Let's do it!"
"Right!"
"Ranger Key, set! Let's go!"
The Megazord's ports opened & some zords came out & formed another Megazord.
"Whoa! It's the DriveMax Megazord!" Chip exclaimed.
It slashed Moltor a few times, then faded away, leaving its sword. The Megazord then grabbed the sword. Moltor stood back up.
"Pirate Operation Drive!" they all yelled, then the Megazord dragged the sword across the screen with the Overdrive logo moving in front of it, then slashed Moltor, who went down in an explosion.
Navi was freaking out.
"What's the matter, Navi?" Doc asked.
"You seem rather unsettled," Vivi said.
"I've been trying to come up with a concrete prediction that'll tell you what you need to know..." he said.
"Don't rush the results," Marvelous said. "If you short out, you'll end up like fried chicken."
"That's messed up! You're the one who told me to do it!"
"That's right, Marvelous. You really should apologize," Robin said.
"Hey, yeah!"
"Why should I apologize to poultry?" he asked.
"Say sorry! Say sorry! And mean it!" Navi said.
"Not gonna happen!"
"Apologize, come on!"
"Looks like Marvelous is back to normal," Robin said, walking over to the others.
"Say you're sorry!"
"Get off me!"
"What's the big deal!? Just say you're sorry!"
"Seems like it," Joe said.
"You really expect me to?"
"Say sorry! Say it!"
"Just do it!"
"No way!"
"Put a sock in it!"
Mack was walking away from the Ship.
"This is what you wanted, isn't it, Red Spirit?" he asked, looking up to the sky as they sailed away from him.
