The rangers were on the ship. Joe laid down his hand of cards against Robin.
"Four of a kind," he said.
"Ow!"
"What's wrong, Vivi?" Robin asked, getting up to see.
"It's nothing. I merely pricked myself on something."
"Let me see."
"Robin kind of looks out for everyone, especially Vivi, huh?" Chip said to Doc.
"Now that you mention it, since Vivi first came aboard she's been the one who's looked after her the most," Doc answered. "They're like sisters."
"Be careful, ok?" she said.
"I see we're all here. In that case, let's get to the treasure hunting. Bird," Marvelous said, coming up the stairs into the room.
"But I'm not a bird! Let's predict the future!" he said, then banged his head into the ceiling. "Being ready to rescue of people in danger will lead to new meetings...Or, something like that."
"Rescuing people in danger?" Doc asked.
"Well, what Power Ranger team are we supposed to be on the look out for now?" Joe asked Chip.
"Well, all of them rescue people at one point or another, so..."
"For now, let us simply see to the aid of others. Shall we?" Vivi said.
"I guess so," Marvelous said.
"Is this really gonna work, Marvelous?" Chip asked him as they walked through the city. "Hmm...Mariner Bay. Sounds familiar," he said, checking his phone for breaking news.
"What're you worried about? Leave it to me," Marvelous said, then stopped Chip.
"Huh?"
"Look, traffic jam," Marvelous said.
"Well, it is nearly lunchtime," Chip said.
"Look. The people crossing over there are too slow," Marvelous said, then Chip saw some old people crossing the street with traffic coming at them. "Got an idea," he said, then got out a key & his morpher, then morphed.
"RPM!" the morpher said & he sped along & got the old people to the other side of the crosswalk.
"There you go..." he said.
"Oh, thank you so much, young man," the woman said.
"Marvelous!" Chip yelled & he looked over on the other side of the road. "I've gathered up a bunch of people who need a lift! Let's get cracking!"
"...Is he insane?" Marvelous said, then saw a woman in silver armor with wings on top of a building. "Huh?" he said in confusion, but another old person tapped him on the shoulder, looking for a lift. He looked at him, then sighed, but looked back & the woman was gone.
"I wonder where we can find someone who needs help..." Doc said as he & Joe walked.
A guy in black then ran passed them & up to a woman walking ahead of them, then snatched her purse & continued running.
"Help! Purse snatcher!" she yelled.
"I got 'im," Joe said, running passed her. He took out a key & his morpher.
"Pirate Crew!"
He threw the rope attached to the grip at the guy & it caught his foot, tripping him to the ground. He tied the guy up, then go the purse & demorphed. He turned back to the woman & Doc, then started walking, but the guy turned into the woman with armor & wings, then disappeared. Joe looked back.
"What the...?" he said, then handed the purse back to the woman. Doc then noticed an earring on the ground & picked it up, then saw she was wearing one just like it.
"You dropped this," he said, handing it to her.
"Thanks," she said, then they looked ahead.
"What was that?" Joe asked.
Vivi & Robin walked through a park. A little girl was trying to get a water fountain to work, but nothing was coming out. Vivi then turned into the pink Mystic ranger & used magic to make it work, then demorphed.
"Go ahead," she said & the girl started it.
"Thank you!" she said, then soaked the water into a cloth.
"Are we really gonna find an ultimate power in a place like this?" Robin asked.
"Mom, here!" the little girl said, bringing it over to a pregnant lady.
"That's cold & refreshing!" the woman said, bringing it to her face. "You're a lot of help, Mary."
"Well, I'm gonna be a big sister soon!"
"Are you expecting?" Vivi asked her.
"Yep, that's right."
"I'm gonna have a little sister!"
Robin had a look on her face, then it went to her carrying a little girl on her back in the rain.
"Fia...Fia? Fia!" she said, putting her down under an awning, but she wouldn't wake.
"Listen. You have to look out for your little sister, ok?" she said to the little girl in the present.
"Ok," the little girl agreed.
"Good!"
The woman then started making a pained sound.
"Mom!"
"Is she going into labor!?" Vivi asked Robin.
"How am I supposed to know!?" Robin asked.
"What's the matter?" a woman asked, walking up to them.
"This pregnant lady was in pain all of a sudden," Robin answered.
"It's fine. Stay calm," the woman said. "What hospital have you been going to?"
"Mariner Bay General!"
"Okay, a taxi should be fastest, then."
"Thank you."
They flagged down a taxi int he street, then loaded the woman & girl in it.
"Leave the rest to me."
"Thank you ever so much," Vivi said.
"Wait," Robin said. "How'd you know what to do?"
"Oh, I'm an EMT. Dana Mitchell," she said, holding her hand out.
"Robin," she said, shaking her hand.
"Vivi," she said also shaking her hand.
"I've seen you on the news. I used to be in the same line of work. Well, see ya later," she said, then got in the taxi with them & they drove off.
Some X-Borgs came out & stopped the taxi.
"The Armada!" Vivi announced.
"Man, talk about bad timing," Robin said.
They got out their keys & morphers.
"It's Morphin Time!"
"Pirate Crew!"
They charged in
"They're—!" the pregnant woman said.
They took down a few, then Robin held on to one.
"Get going!" she shouted.
"Go!" Dana said to the driver & they kept going.
They fought more X-Borgs on a nearby pier. Vivi was being overrun by a few of them.
"Vivi!" Robin yelled, then ran over, clearing the X-Borgs off of her. One slashed her, then she shot it. Her suit was smoking where she was hit.
"Robin! Are you all right?" Vivi asked.
"No biggie," Robin responded.
A few X-Borgs came over to them, but they deflected their staffs with their sabres & kicked them into the water below them. Robin then got out a key.
"Vivi, let's use these."
"Right..."
"Power Switch!"
"In Space!"
"Buzz off!" Robin said, then blasted them into the water. Vivi did the same.
More X-Borgs were running towards them. Robin held up another key.
"Once more oughta do it."
"Right!"
"Power Switch!"
"Mystic Force!"
"Lightning Bolt!"
"Whirlwind!"
They announced, then used the powers to take care of the circle of X-Borgs around them, then demorphed.
"Dang, where do those guys pop up from?" Robin said.
"Robin, thank you for before," Vivi said.
"Are you okay? Did you get hurt?"
"No, I'm more concerned about you."
"Aw, this is just a flesh wound. You wanna check out that hospital? I'm kinda worried."
"I guess I really did go into labor. It's sooner than anticipated, but it's still close enough there should be no problems, so they admitted me," the woman from earlier said as they were in her room.
"That's good," Vivi said.
"Thank you. You really helped me out."
"Oh no, we didn't really do anything..." Robin said.
"It was that woman who came by that really helped."
"Oh, that's right."
"Her name's Dana Mitchell, and she's a famous emergency medical technician," a nurse said, coming in to check on the woman. She pointed to a picture that was hung on the wall of the 6 Lightspeed Rescue Rangers with their morphers showing to the camera.
"And on top of that, she fought in the Legendary War..." Vivi said, looking at the picture.
"She was the Pink Ranger from Lightspeed Rescue!" Robin said, realizing & they both looked at each other.
An ambulance took off with Dana in it.
Marvelous & Chip were done helping old people across the walkway.
"Right...Right," Chip said to the ones thanking them.
"What's up?" he said into his Cell.
"What is it?" Marvelous asked.
"Lightspeed Rescue!?" Chip exclaimed, saluting.
"Let's go!" Marvelous exclaimed, then saw people on the other side. Chip then pressed the button for the crosswalk & they took off.
"Anyway, get a move on! We'll rendezvous later," Robin yelled as they ran with their morphers in hand.
"All right, understood. We'll be there soon!" Joe said, then he saw the woman from earlier, as did Doc.
"Can you hear me?" Dana said to a kid on a stretcher as they wheeled him off. "Hang in there! It'll be okay."
"Careful on the corner," a man said.
"Right!"
"We're almost there."
"It'll be okay."
"Okay, we're lifting you up," he said again as they got to the ambulance.
They were then ambushed by X-Borgs. Dana started fighting after her mask was ripped off, as did the guy. His mask was ripped off too, revealing his face.
"Ryan!" Dana yelled as a few X-Borgs were holding on to her.
Vivi & Robin jumped in, morphed, & took down the X-Borgs.
"You two!"
"Hurry & take care of that kid!" Robin told her.
"Right!"
"It won't be long."
A hand stretched, then they went to defend the ambulance from a blast of fire from the Black Lion Warrior. It stood with the Green Chameleon Warrior & the Sentinel Knight as they got knocked back & demorphed.
"Those are..." Vivi said, then a sinister laugh came from another direction. They peered behind them.
"Finally found you," he said, walking into frame.
"Basco!" Robin said as they got up.
"Yeah, and here I was, going to the trouble of pretending to be the Armada. Look at how things turned out. I even borrowed a few of these fellows. What a waste," he said, then Kairi took out the two X-Borgs next to them.
"Then the X-Borgs weren't just attacking people at random..." Vivi said.
"Bingo! So, that's how it is, Miss Lightspeed. If you want that kid looked after, would you kindly hand over your ultimate power?"
They walked backward to the ambulance to protect it.
"If you cooperate nice & quietly, I'll make sure that squirt gets to the hospital."
"Then the attack on that taxi & on the ambulance, were both because I was there?" Dana said. "I understand. I'll head over. Just make sure that this boy gets to the hospital, Ryan."
"I understand."
"I'm counting on you, Pirates."
"Dana..."
Her suit flashed over her & she started to get out.
"You can't!" Robin said, then she pushed her back into the ambulance & they got in with her.
"Hey, now...no concern for what happens to the boy?" Basco asked.
"I know! I'm coming!"
"What are you doing!?"
"Human lives are the Earth's future. If it means saving this boy's life, I don't care about the ultimate power-"
"That's not what I mean! You're an EMT, right? He needs you to make sure he gets to the hospital safely! I wasn't able to do anything..." Robin said as thunder roared in her memory & it went back to the flashback. "When my sister got sick, I tried to carry her to a doctor...But I had no idea what I was doing..."
"Fia? Fia... Fia? Fia!? Fia!" past her said in the flashback, then she started crying.
"She didn't make it..." she said back in the present. "Please. You have to stay with him. I'll manage here."
"But, what are you going to?"
"I'll distract him. Yeah...I'll take your clothes & go out there to give the ambulance a chance."
"That's crazy! He'll see through it immediately!" Vivi said.
"If that happens, I'll hold him off by force!"
"Robin!"
"I don't care if it's crazy, I have to do something!"
"I'm here too! You're not the only one who wants to save this child. Please, let me help. I want you to have faith in me. I can't simply remain your surrogate sister who must always be protected!"
"Vivi..."
"Cripes, what's the hold up?" Basco yelled.
"You're right…yeah. It's not the same as it was then. What do you think, Vivi? What should we do?"
"Screw it...I don't mind doing things the hard way," Basco said, then aimed his blaster at the ambulance. They then opened the doors of it & Dana got out. The ambulance then took off fast. "Jolly good, then," he said, then got his trumpet out & started playing.
"Huh?" he said, confused when nothing happened, then played again. "Hey, lady," he said, walking toward her. "What did you do with your ultimate power?"
"I've done nothing," she said, then he tried to deck her & she caught his arm. He tried again, then kicked her away after a few more strikes. She rolled on the ground backward.
"You're—!"
She stood up & transformed with some yellow sparkles. Vivi's Mystic Force ranger form appeared, then Robin jumped in out of nowhere & power-kicked Kairi.
"Robin," Vivi said as she landed on the ground, then transformed back to her main suit.
"Nice job. How'd you manage that?"
"Magic, duh!"
-Flashback-
"Power Switch," Vivi said when they were in the ambulance.
"Mystic Force!"
"I'll transform now."
A second Dana appeared where she stood.
"I had no idea... I'll have to remember that," he said, then snapped his fingers.
The key clones came charging in & they fought them.
"Hang in there. Right now, the Pirates are fighting to protect you," Dana said.
"We're almost at the hospital! Hang on!" Ryan announced.
They were still fighting.
"Vivi!" Robin yelled, throwing her her blaster.
"Understood!" she threw Robin her sabre.
She shot at the Sentinel Knight, but it withstood them. She rolled forward as it charged at her, then they exchanged kicks.
Robin used her sabre whips & deflected the Chameleon Warrior's blasts, but the Black Lion Warrior got in some good blows. Vivi then got kicked back to her. The clones then charged up some energy blasts. & fired them, sending them flying.
"Hey, sorry for the wait," Marvelous said after they caught them.
"Then don't take so long! Sheesh!" Robin exclaimed.
"Sorry, it's a long story..." Doc said.
"We'll back you up now," Chip said.
"Right. Thank you for your assistance," Vivi said.
"Leave it to us," Joe said.
"Hello, Marvie! Come to pay me a visit?" Basco said, walking over to them.
"Marvelous," Robin said.
"I know. Gotta rescue people first, right?" he said, then got out his key.
"It's Morphin Time!"
"Pirate Crew!"
"Power Rangers Pirate Crew!"
"X-Borg's cue," Bassco said, then snapped his fingers & they appeared.
"Let's make this..." Robin started.
"Quite the show!" Robin said, then they charged in.
The guys charged in too.
"Why's he got X-Borgs?" Chip asked, then followed.
They fought. Marvelous took on the Black Lion Warrior with Joe & Doc helping. Chip fought the Sentinel Knight.
"Come on, come on!" he said.
Vivi & Robin dealt with the Chameleon Warrior together. It kicked Robin away, then fired an energy blast at them.
"You ok!?" Doc asked as they recoiled backwards.
Vivi got out a key.
"Let us use these."
"Power Switch!"
"Lightspeed Rescue!"
"Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue!"
The Lightspeed Rescue theme kicked in the background.
The 2 warriors fired at them. It created an explosion when it hit them, but they jumped through the fire. They charged at them & hit them with their individual weapons. Vivi & Robin dealt a heavy blow.
Chip then took on the Sentinel Knight, then pushed it off the staircase. It landed, then he charged after it.
"Rescue Smash!" they yelled as the guys held the girls up, then threw them at them & they hit them with a twirling melee attack.
"How's that for ya!?" Robin exclaimed & they transformed back into their normal suits. They then high-fived.
"Man, if only you guys had the Titanium Ranger's key-" Chip said.
"Shut it," Robin interrupted him, elbowing him in the chest.
"Well, let's go for the finisher!" Chip exclaimed, then got his Anchor Key
"Power Up!"
"Gold Mode!"
"Pirate Crew Silver Gold Mode!"
"One more shot!" Robin said, then they loaded in their keys.
"Final Wave!"
The main 5 charged their sabres & slashed at them.
"Ranger Combination Strike!" Chip exclaimed, then did his 6th Ranger attack.
The keys fell on the ground, then Kairi swiped them. She handed them back to Basco.
"She took them back!" Chip exclaimed.
"I got outdone by a pair of girlies this time..."
"The Ranger Keys—!" Chip said.
"Come on down!" Basco said, opening the safe on Kairi's torso, then a fireball came out & formed into a giant monster. "This is my Fireroid, Meran. He'll handle the rest!" he said, then took off.
"Marvelous!" Vivi exclaimed after the monster fired on them.
"Yeah, I know!"
"Red Galleon!"
"From beyond time, come forth! Q-Rex Drill!"
"Q-Rex Drill launching!"
"Megazord Form! Megazord, ready!"
"Q-Rex Megazord, ready!"
The monster charged at them.
"Chip!" Vivi saId.
"Let's do it!"
"All right!" he spun his wheels & they started fighting.
The Megazord slashed & pushed it back, then the Q-Rex did too with its drill arm. The monster then fired fire at them. They exploded in their cockpits.
"Hot! Hot, hot..." Doc exclaimed.
"We've got plenty of fire, too," Marvelous said, flipping up a key & inserted it into they keyhole. "Let's Go!" the Mystic Dragon came out & fired fire at it, then it absorbed the fire.
"What the!? He's stronger than before!" Robin exclaimed.
"He must've absorbed the fire to power up," Joe said.
"Yeah, my bad," Marvelous said.
"What'll we do!?" Doc asked as it expounded the flames.
"Guys, guys! Leave the fire extinguishing to me!" Chip said, then turned his wheels.
The drill turned out. The monster then fired more fire.
"Shield Mode!" he said, then the drill arm twisted around & blocked the flames. "Now's your chance!"
"Right," Marvelous said, then 5 keys flashed & came out, then landed in their hands.
"The Lightspeed Rescue keys..." Vivi said. "Robin!"
"Yeah. Thanks! Time to borrow your power," Robin said, flipping up the key.
"Ranger Key, set!" they turned the keys & firehoses came out of the Megazord.
"Guys...any time now—!" Chip exclaimed.
"Victory Splash!" they exclaimed & fired water out of them, putting out the flames & pushing back the monster.
"Pirate Prominence!" they exclaimed, then slashed it. It got pushed back.
"Chip, it's your turn," Vivi said.
"Right! Let's do it!" Chip exclaimed. "Ranger Key, set! Let's go! Q-Rex Triple Drill Attack!"
The attack landed & defeated the monster.
"We did it!" Vivi said.
"Yes!" Robin exclaimed.
"What a cutie. So cute!" Vivi said to the now not pregnant lady holding her baby. "Truly."
"Thanks, lady," the other kid from the ambulance said to Robin.
"What a relief," Robin said. "The baby was born without any trouble & this kid's doing fine too. And Vivi's one step closer to being a real pirate."
"Oh, Robin…"
Elsewhere...
"Ah, finally located this place. Kairi, stay close. Don't drop your banana peels anywhere. This place hasn't been occupied in years," Basco said as they walked through a hallway. They then entered a lab with many vials. "Look around. Find something of worth. It's supposed to be a man shrunk down," he said & Kairi went to look.
He went to a computer console & typed on it, then a portal opened in front of them.
"Interesting," he said. "Short-ranged teleport portals. Called Inviso-Portals. Could come in handy," he said, then typed more.
Kairi then made a loud noise.
"Find something?" he asked her & she grunted. "Ok, now. What do we have?" he asked, then lifted up the vial with a person in it. "Oh yes. Lothor, enemy of the Ninja Storm Rangers. Come on, Kairi. We need to get back," he said, then they started walking as he snickered to himself. "Wonder how my sleeper agent's doing," he said, then an eye came on-screen with the woman from earlier in it, then zoomed out to see Doc's face.
"And we got an ultimate power! All's well that ends well," Doc said. Chip moaned.
"What is it?" Marvelous asked.
"Nothing really, it's just, Vivi seems more like the big sister today..." Chip said.
"Does it really matter?" Marvelous asked, then it ended with a shot of the girls.
