Disclaimer: So, now we get to continue all of this fun. I get to work on Triangulation now and it should be a lot of fun to work with! Oh, I have to be careful about how this goes. Can't reveal anything to you humans yet…

Shadow and I: Enjoy the chapter! *sits and watches action*

Dreadwing's 1st P.O.V.

I shook my helm as I went through the ground bridge. There were bound to be issues with going after four of these relics at the same time. Our forces were best utilized when we worked as a large army against the Autobots. Sending only me after this relic in the most southern region of this planet, Antarctica, seemed to me to be a mistake. The Autobots were going to be difficult to deal with, given the information that I had recently gained, and I knew that a part of that was due to the femme that I would be giving flight training to.

I had been surprised to learn that Pandimala had once been under the care of the Autobots, though she hadn't pledged herself to them. Having a Cybertronian willingly leave the Autobots was not a situation that was common in this war. Most times, I found that Decepticons were more likely to betray our cause than the allies of the Autobots were going to betray his. However, this femme had done just that

More information on her would be needed before our training began. I needed to know just how much flight experience she had so I wouldn't waste time in training her in techniques that she should already know. I had yet to see the femme in battle but, given that Lord Megatron was going to be taking over her fight training from Soundwave, she had to have more than decent training. However, I would not allow these thoughts to influence my training.

"Commander Dreadwing," I looked toward the drone who spoke. "We are detecting a Decepticon life signature about fifty meters ahead."

There could not be any more Decepticons from the ship that we could be detecting at this point. Lord Megatron made it clear that the group that I was with right now would be the only support I would receive unless the Autobot interference proved to be overwhelmingly against us. However, given the Autobots currently on this planet, I would be able to handle the enemy with little difficulty. So, since the signal was not a Decepticon that was currently on the ship, that left only one viable option. "Starscream." I then turned to the eradicons with me. "We will go and intercept the traitor. With me!" I then transformed before flying toward the traitor.

In a matter of clicks, the sight of the traitor filled me with anger. The mech who once held my position turned against our cause. It was a taint on the position I held. My squadron fired on the mech and, after a few clicks, they had the coward surrounded.

"Decepticons," The traitor started as I started to descend for a landing. Once I was close enough to the ground, I transformed and started to walk toward the traitor. "Do you not realize you have just shot down your ship's commander?!"

Anger coursed through my lines as Starscream said that. "You command no one, deserter." My optics narrowed at the mech as he turned in my direction. I could see the form of a retort trying to come out of his vocals.

However, once his optics locked onto me, I got a different reaction from the traitor. "Skyquake?" He had met my brother before his offlining here and believed that I was him. How did a fool like him even gain the entrance into the Decepticons, let alone become the faction's second in command? "B...but you're-"

"You mistake me for my brother, who is one with the Allspark, as you are, no doubt, aware, former commander Starscream." I interrupted Starscream before I narrowed my optics at him. While I wanted to offline the mech since he was the careless commander who was in charge when my brother became one with the Allspark, I had my duty to the Decepticons to perform. "Were it up to me, I would end this here and now." The traitor began to look nervous, as he should, at that statement before I continued. "But, it is my duty as first lieutenant to Lord Megatron to refer all traitors to my lord and master for due punishment."

The scared look that had once been in the former second in command's optics turned to one of anger. "First lieutenant?! That's my post!" While Starscream was of little threat in a battle, there were stories of what he was capable of when backed into a corner like this. So, to remind him of his position, I raised up my cannon and aimed it at him as the drones did the same with their blasters. Our reactions caused the coward to hesitate. "Uh, was my post."

With that settled, I wasted no time in making sure that the traitor was restrained and, since my mission was to locate and retrieve the relic, I had to bring him with us. The weather, while cold, was bearable as long as the mission was finished in haste. The bitter cold would be nothing compared to the anger that Lord Megatron would have if I allowed the Autobots to retrieve the relic before we could.

The battles here on Earth, from what I could tell in the short time I had been present for them, were centered on both physical and psychological warfare. Both of our sides took and delivered both kinds of blows. Recently, we had suffered the loss of the spark extractor, a powerful devise capable of mass annihilation. That had been a large blow to our efforts. However, the motion of this battle returned to a balance when the Decepticons were able to land a large psychological, and partially physical blow to our enemy.

Lord Megatron, through work that was started before my arrival on this planet, had been able to sway one of the Autobot's neutral supporters, the triplechanger known as Pandimala, to our side. It was obvious from the first nano the betrayal happened in that cavern to now that her betrayal of the Autobots was a heavy blow. The other previous neutral, the Autobot femme Shadowstalker, seemed extremely afflicted by anger and resentment due to this betrayal. Normally, my view on those who betray their cause was dim. However, Pandimala had been a neutral and I assumed had yet to make up her processor on which side to truly support.

Now though, if the femme decided to betray the Decepticons, then there would be no force in existence that would stop me from hunting her down and offlining her. Much like I wished to do to the conniving mech currently in my custody.

"Commander Dreadwing, this must be a very important mission if Megatron has dispatched his second-in-command." I ignored the mech. He had no sense of honor and, thus, did not deserve my attention. However, it seemed like the mech in custody was persistent. "Scouting for energon, or something else altogether?"

That was closer to what our goal was then was comfortable so I shot the mech a glare. "That is none of your concern."

If I had hoped that would silence the mech for long, then I was sorely mistaken when the traitor started to speak a few nanos later. "If I knew what you were looking for, perhaps I could help." I would not allow this traitor to assist in looking for the relic even if we were surrounded by the enemy.

So, instead of answering Starscream, I continued forward and returned to my thoughts. Pandimala's recruitment to our side of the fight caused more than that psychological damage that betrayals of those close normally caused. A triple changer's power, even one that was inexperienced, was an invaluable asset when in a battle. On their brute strength alone, trained triple changers were able to hold off some of the most brutal waves of attacks. With the fact that Lord Megatron would be taking over the femme's training in my processor, I realized that the femme was well on the that path. While the femme had yet to be present in major battles as of yet, just her test against the two Autobots, Cliffjumper and Shadowstalker, showed the potential that she held.

"We have arrived at the coordinates." One of the drones spoke.

So, I pulled myself once again from my thoughts and glanced at where the relic should be. However, instead of seeing the relic that we were looking for, all I saw was a section of ice that was torn from the wall behind it. "The relic. It has been taken!"

"Relic? What sort of relic?" Starscream questioned.

However, I did not bother to answer the mech. The relic was missing and the odds were high that the Autobots had already taken it. "Search the area!" I could not waste a nano with Starscream's questions. I might be able to catch up with the Autobots if I could ascertain their escape route quickly.

After a few clicks of searching, one of the eradicons came up to me. "Commander Dreadwing, we have discovered vehicle tracks."

"The Autobots," I growled. They were interfering in my mission from Lord Megatron and that could not be allowed.

"Perhaps," I glared at the previous second-in-command as he motioned to the area where the relic was. "Though I've never known them to plant flags at the site of their victories."

"Do not try me, traitor." I growled at the mech. While he made a valid point, I was not going to give him the credit for that. "I will leave your lifeless husk in this frozen waste." It was an empty threat, since my loyalty to my Lord was stronger than my own pride, but the mech did not need to know that. The sounds of pedesteps approaching caused me to tense. When I turned, I narrowed my optics when I saw that there was an Autobot approaching. I knew I was about to do battle with the Autobot so I turned to the drones. "You two, guard the prisoner." I then turned to face the opponent that had stopped before me. "Optimus Prime, I will request only once that you surrender the relic."

Only slightly surprising was the Prime's response. "I was going to request the same of you, Dreadwing."

So, the Autobots did not have the relic yet. So, that meant that humans had taken the relic, as Starscream had hinted at. "Then I would say that we are on equal footing, were it not that there are five of us and only one of you." If the Prime would retreat, then going after the humans who took the relic would be made easier.

"Six, if you'd relieve me of these ridiculous manacles." I resisted the urge to roll my optics at the complaint of the traitor.

Instead, I decided to get this fight going. Taking out my cannon, I fired round upon round at the Prime. True to form, the mech who regularly faced off against Lord Megatron simply dodged the blasts before charging in to do melee combat with me. Our swords clashed a number of times before I was thrown back. I could not allow the Prime to gain the upper-servo in this fight. So, dropping all defense, I charged at the Prime before tackling him, in turn throwing us both off of the ledge that was behind him. The drop was not far and, recovering quickly, I stood and moved a few paces away from the Prime.

Simultaneously, the Prime and I then pointed our respective long-range weaponry at each other. He fired first and I felt underwhelmed as the shot hit the wall of ice behind me, far off from hitting my chassis. "Your aim is poor." I expected more from the mech who regularly fought against my leader.

Instead of looking worried, the Prime moved to his pedes while saying, "That is a matter of perspective." The sound of cracking followed the Prime's words and I barely had time to register that the Prime had purposefully hit the ice wall to create an avalanche before I was impacted by the fallout of the avalanche and my optics went dark.

I was not sure how much time passed as I remained unconscious, but when I awoke, I realized that the Prime and the traitor were long gone. There was no doubt in my processor that they were going after the relic. Since I was now alone, I moved to look at the snow surrounding me. A few clicks of looking around this area yielded fresh pede-prints in the snow heading away from the battle. Two sets of pedes, one small and the other quite large, told me that the traitor was working with the Autobot to get to the relic.

As I followed their tracks, for following them from the ground would be best, I allowed my thoughts to move to the current situation. Four relics were revealed during the incident of the ship taking over. Four teams were organized and sent to these coordinates. Knockout and an insecticon were sent to the first set that the ship led us to, along with some drones. I of course, was sent to this cold and barren wasteland with a small group of drones. While I was walking through the bridge, I did hear that Soundwave was going to be going after another of the relics and I had no doubt that the new femme would be a part of either his team or the team going after the fourth relic. Whichever team that she went with would test the femme in combat that had high stakes. Once I returned from this mission, I would gather the information that would have been gained on the femme's performance in the field.

Soon, the tracks I were following allowed me to arrive at a small human research facility. That must be where the relic was being kept. As I moved closer to the facility, I realized that the base was abandoned of the indigenous life forms. More evidence that the Autobot had come here with the traitor. The sound of voices coming from one of the warehouses caused me to take out my cannon before proceeding forward. As I grew closer to the sounds, I realized that the voices I were hearing were the Prime and the traitor.

My analysis was proven correct when I looked into the opening as the Autobot and Starscream turned to me. "I knew you were of questionable honor, Starscream. But aiding the Autobots...that is a capital offense." I said to the mech.

Of course, he in turn looked like a coward as he motioned to me. "What?! But I-I left tracks for you on purpose, so you could rescue me from my captor."

I was not believing Starscream's words for a nano. Neither, did it seem was the Prime as he moved toward me. "Dreadwing, I cannot allow you to leave here with this relic."

Of course not. "I know that Prime," I started to answer the mech. "But I do not intend to give you a choice." I then began to fire my cannon at the Prime as he charged at me.

Soon, he tackled me away from the entrance to the warehouse, which caused me to lose hold of my cannon. Then our servo-to-servo combat began. The Prime and I traded blows for a few nanos and I could admit that the battle was enjoyable. There was a reason that the mech fought with Lord Megatron on a regular basis.

However, the cold must be getting to the Prime because I soon found an opening that threw the Prime to his backplates. Now, I just had to finish him. Taking out my sword, I went to raise it above my helm, to start the final blow, when I saw movement in my field of vision. I barely raised my sword high enough to deflect the blaster-shot that threw me back.

"Sorry I'm late to the show Prime." I looked behind the Prime and narrowed my optics. There, coming up behind him, was another Autobot. While it had been hundreds of stellars since I had seen this particular Autobot, he was one that was hard to forget. The heavy-duty mech was Ironhide, a weapons specialist that I had clashed with before. My advantage on the battlefield here was now even less favorable than it was before.

But, I had to get that relic.

"Ironhide, it is good to see you old friend." The Prime greeted the mech as the weapon specialist stood next to the Prime.

Before I could say anything to the two Autobots, however, an explosion coming from behind me had me turning on instinct to face yet another new threat. When the cause of the explosion landed, I found my optics narrowing. Starscream had gotten a hold of the relic, the Apex Armor, and was now standing in front of the three of us.

"Slag, that's the Apex Armor." Ironhide growled. While I was nervous about the Autobots behind me, I was more worried about Starscream in possession of this armor.

"A perfect fit." Starscream commented about his armor. While I knew that Knockout was the most vain mech I had ever met, Starscream had his own vain tendencies too. Something to keep in my processor for later use.

But, for now, I had to deal with this theft that Starscream had just committed. "You dare to claim that which rightfully belongs to Lord Megatron?"

"And what do you intend to do about it, Commander?" I ground my denta together when he said that before I charged the mech, sword ready to strike. I felt anger course through my lines as I heard Starscream taunt me with that. Now that Starscream had that armor, he seemed to act like he was on the top of the world. However, I was not prepared for the traitor's armor to be so impenetrable. My sword was deflected off of the armor and, before I could try for another strike, I was thrown backwards by Starscream slamming his servo into me with the back of his servo. "No so big and strong now are you? I haven't had this much fun since I punched that hole in Cliffjumper." Starscream continued before focusing on me. "Allow me to reunite you with your beloved twin."

A growl slipped out of me but, before I could launch back at the traitor, the new Autobot launched at the seeker. "I'll take you down Starscream."

Ironhide did not last long, though, and soon he was being sent flying back. The Prime finally went after the mech as Starscream was about to throw a construction vehicle toward the other Autobot and me. The hit from the Prime caused the seeker to throw the vehicle in a different direction...though Ironhide and I still had to dodge. I barely got out of the way before I looked at Optimus fighting Starscream. "And you, Optimus Prime." The seeker, to my surprise, then started to overpower the Prime before continuing. "I will beat the living spark out of you just so I never again have to endure your pontificating."

To my surprise, the seeker was able to throw the Autobot leader quite a distance away from him. This was not going to be an easy fight. "Dreadwing," I listened to the Autobot leader as he spoke to me. "Our battle remains unfinished, but if we do not unite against our common foe..."

"Starscream will destroy us all." While I was hesitant to work with my enemy, I knew that Starscream was the bigger threat. "I will draw his attention." I then handed the weapon specialist one of my explosives before I took a few steps towards the traitor before I transformed and flew over the seeker. While I doubted my shots would do much against the armor, I figured that this would be a way to keep the seeker's attention off of the Autobots.

However, what I was not expecting was for the traitor to jump into the air and knock me down from my wings. The pain that was rocketing through them was almost unbearable. Only the knowledge that I was surrounded by enemies kept me focused on the fight. As I stood up, I heard the traitor coming toward me. "Might beats flight!" Hopefully, this nonverbal plan that I made with the Autobots would work.

As I looked toward the seeker, I watched as Ironhide jumped on the back of the seeker and seemed to try and take the armor off. Starscream, as expected, thrashed about until he was able to throw the Autobot away toward the Prime. Perfect.

Making sure I was ready, I motioned toward the seeker. "You shall be the one to join with the Allspark." Then, I took out my trigger for the bomb and activated it.

The seeker flailed in panic as he worked to remove the device. That showed that even the seeker wasn't sure about the endurance of the armor he was currently in. The fear of an explosion was causing him to panic. Unfortunately for him, the flexibility of the armor was very low. It wasn't long before the device exploded. As the black smoke surrounded Starscream, I held off hope that this explosion worked. The Apex Armor was legendary in its defensive capabilities and an explosion, even one like that, should not be enough to penetrate the armor.

I heard the traitor's mocking laugh before I saw the unscathed appearance of the armor still intact. "That tickled!" He then began to laugh even more. "Fools! Not only am I intelligent, I am invincible!"

"Yet you cannot fly." Optimus pointed out to the seeker.

That was a smart move. Seekers were very prideful on the fact that they commanded the skies, even better than regular fliers like myself. Unfortunately, Starscream was not as affected by that as I wanted him to be. "Nobody's perfect."

"We'll take you down 'Con." Ironhide retorted at the traitor.

While he did though, I looked at the explosive in my servo. After staring at it for a few clicks, I realized what we could do. So, as Starscream moved toward the Autobots, I started to set the explosives on the ice.

"Now," Starscream spoke to the Autobots, "tell me of the other relics." I noticed him motion to his armor out of the corner of my optics. "Are they as powerful as my shiny new armor?"

Both Autobots were tense as I moved around the trio at standoff. It was the newly arrived Ironhide that responded to the traitor. "We sent them away so slag like you couldn't get their servos on them."

With the last of the explosives now place, I had to warn the Prime and his soldier that I was about to make a move. "He is far too powerful Autobots! Fall back!"

Thankfully, there seemed to be enough processor power between the two of them to see that I was planning something. So, they both retreated back to behind my position. They seemed to realize that my plan was going to affect them if they were in front of me.

"Cowards!" Starscream taunted us. "You will not escape my might." When the traitor looked between us, I could almost watch as the realization came onto his faceplate. "Wait." He then looked around nervously. "You three are up to something."

Allowing a smirk to come onto my faceplate, I brought the trigger up before activating it. It was very satisfying to see the growing panic on the seeker's faceplate as each explosive activated. Of course, the size of this explosion was going to be massive. So, I turned and, with the two Autobots, I raced away from the explosion. I could feel the heat of the explosion as it pressed against my backplates and wings. It was sweet to hear the sound of the fearful cries of the traitor. That would do for now.

However, the solar would come where he would be given full justice.

With the threat of Starscream gone for now, I took out my sword and placed it at the ready. I was ready to begin this fight if I had to, but I did not like the odds. Fighting the Prime was difficult enough as it was. But, fighting him with his weapon specialist in tow would be even more difficult. However, I had to fight unless these Autobots gave me another option. "Now that our alliance has served its purpose,"

"Starscream is gone," The Prime interrupted me. "The Apex Armor with him. Is there really a need to renew battle when the goal has been lost?"

"We have other unfinished matters." I did know that the Prime had a servo in the offlining of my twin and I wanted to see what his response to this accusation would be.

"I bore Skyquake no malice." The Prime started, "and I regret the role I played in his demise, so I will appeal to you as I once did your twin." He then offered a servo out to me. "Turn your back on the Decepticon cause and help me end this war, for his sake and for all who have fallen."

While even the thought of turning traitor made me glare at the Prime, his answer did give me reason to leave the battle. So, I returned my sword to my back before glaring at the two Autobots. "You saved my life today." I then walked closer to the Prime. "I will terminate you the next time we meet." I then walked past the Autobots before transforming and flying off.

I knew I was in trouble. Not only was I returning with news that Starscream had been able to take the Apex Armor, but I was also going to have to report that yet another new Autobot had joined Optimus Prime's team. Hopefully, the other three teams would be able to retrieve their relics. However, only time would tell.

And here is the next chapter! We hope you all enjoyed this! Doing Dreadwing's P.O.V. was difficult but I hope I did it justice. Next chapter will be done and posted by Shadow. Until next time…
