Third POV

-In Tōtsuki Academy-

*Knock knock*

"Come in" A professionally dressed man enters the spacious office holding a folder.

"Sir, this is the file of a student from St. Marie that would like to transfer" The man said handing the file to his superior.

"St. Marie you said?"

"Yes sir. A girl named Amano Ichigo"

"Amano...mmmm" ? repeated the last name with a shocked but gentle tone "Write a received letter with the transfer exam scheduled, and inform Erina so she can be the examiner"

"Yes sir"

"And also-" the man was ready to leave and do what he was ordered to do but ? Stopped him and he turned to look at him "-prepare a room for Amano Ichigo in the Rose Garden dorm"

"THE Rose Garden dorm! But sir!... Isn't it too soon? She hasn't even done or passed the test! And even though THAT seat has not been filled– do you really think she has what it takes!?"

"She does, therefore, prepare everything and inform the Elites about the new Tōtsuki student" ? Stood up and turned to the semi-closed curtain window wall behind him, and as he said this he viewed the Academy grounds and students that passed by.

"Y-yes sir" the man didn't question ? anymore and left.

"Amano Ichigo... I wonder. Will you have the same gift as her?" ? Said curious while turning to look at the opened file with a picture of Ichigo.

-Back to Amano's residency-

Ichigo! Hurry up or we'll leave you!"

"I'm coming!" Ichigo shouted from the top of the stairs.

"NO! Don't–" Whaa-thu-thu-thuthu-thud-pwhaj "-run" Kyoku tried to stop Ichigo but was too late and facepalmed shaking her head.

"Atatata~I'm okay hehehe" Ichigo said rubbing her bum

After Ichigo's everyday routine they finally hopped in the car and prepared for the long trip.

–2 hours later–

"Are we there yet?"

"We're almost there, Ichigo. You sure miss your uncle that much Ichigo, huh?" Kyoku said turning to look back from the passenger seat.

"Yes! I also miss Grandmother's shop and uncle's pastries!" Ichigo said to her Mama and Papa excitedly but not loud enough to wake up Natsume who was sleeping in the car in an uncomfortable position that would surely hurt her neck when she woke up.

"Papa does too" He agreed, looking at Ichigo through the rear-view mirror. Kyoku then grabbed Shigeru's hand and he looked at her, she gave him an encouraging smile and squeezed his hand, Shigeru grabbed her hand and kissed the back of her hand, and continued driving.

-Arriving at Grandma's shop-

Ichigo's POV

"We're here!" Mama said waking up Natsume who tried to turn her head to stretch but regretted it later since it was hurting because of the position she slept in.

I got out of the car and stretched while taking a big breath of the pure air and then looked at my Grandma's, now Uncle's pastry shop with a sad and nostalgic look.

Ending remembering happy memories of my grandma I entered the shop along with my family who was waiting for me. My Uncle was coming out of the kitchen with a happy smile.

"Shigeru! How are you?! I was wondering when y'all would come and see me!" Uncle said, giving my Papa a big strong hug and smiling at my Mama.

"Oh my! How both of you have grown!" Uncle came to us and stood tall with his bald head shining while Natsume and I were amazed by how Uncle's head shined that even a star was present whenever he appeared.

"Hi Uncle!" Natsume and I said giving our Uncle a hug. "Are you ready to be my little helpers?" "YES!" "Okay then, go to the kitchen, put your aprons on and wash your hands" "Yes sir!" We salute and run towards the kitchen to get ready.

-A lot of baking later-

"Okay girls, y'all are finished. Go eat your full, you've earned it!" "YES! THANK YOU UNCLE!" I said looking at Uncle with hearts for eyes and hugged Uncle.

"Thank you Uncle but are you sure? If you let us eat our fill then the shop will close sooner" Natsume said to Uncle who was still hugging me and looked at Natsume, who looked at me. My Uncle's face realized what Natsume was trying to say and said something that broke my heart.

"O-oh, umm, okay, you can only eat 4 sweets" "Nooo~!" I cried looking at my Uncle who just hugged me as a 'sorry but it's necessary' hug.

-Eating time later-

My family and I were eating, talking, and laughing outside the shop until my Uncle came, where we all turned to look at him, who was carrying a medium box and putting it on the table. We just stared at the box and turned to look back at Uncle, confused and wanting answers about what the box contained.

"Hikaru-Nii-chan, what's with the box?" Papa asked Uncle what we all had in our minds. "You don't recognize it Shigeru?" "Should I?" Papa asked confused. "Shigeru, it's THE box" " Wait. You mean THAT box?" Papa gasped realizing what the box was and at this point, Mama, Natsume, and I were so confused.

"Yeah, I found it inside some boxes in my basement when I remodeled Mom's house so I could live there, you know since I could be close to the shop and grocery stores" My Uncle explained to my Papa.

"Okay, but what is it?" Mama finally asked wanting to understand Papa's and Uncle's conversation. "Oh sorry, I forgot to tell you ladies. This box has some of Grandma's things, you know, pictures, letters, recipe books, and other things" While Uncle was speaking he was opening the box, and inside there were so many pink colored things, many envelopes, a brown recipe book, and little accessories.

We started looking at the pictures first and were laughing at the story behind some of the pictures my Papa and Uncle remembered. "Ohh, Do you remember that time you found this picture and asked who that young man was?" Uncle asked Papa while passing him the picture he was talking about. "YEAH! Ugh, at that time I was a teenager and couldn't believe that Mom had a boyfriend who wasn't Dad hahahahaha" Papa laughed while Mama looked at the picture with Natsume leaning on Mama's shoulder and me standing to also look at the picture.

"Grandma had a boyfriend?" I also asked surprised.

"Yeah, and he doesn't look half bad. Grandma had taste" Mama said.

"*Cough Cough* Dear, please..." Papa coughed choking on his water.

"HAHAHAHAHA, she sure did" Uncle belly laughed and agreed with Mama.

"Ugh~!" Papa groaned uncomfortably with the topic.

But I had to agree with Mama, Grandma's boyfriend looked handsome, even more handsome than the 'three jerks'.

Grandma and the man were at a New Year's festival wearing kimonos. Grandma had her hair in a braided bun with a sakura kanzashi hairpin and wore a beautiful pink, sakura-themed kimono, and the young man wore a black with blue square striped pattern, and a grey, black and white triangle pattern obi belt. The young man had tanned skin, medium-long spiky black hair, and a scar across his left eye. And while grandma was smiling toward the camera doing a peace sign, the young man was looking at grandma with an almost unnoticeable sweet smile.

So yes, he was handsome.

"Look, the picture has something written on the back" Natsume says and Mama turns the picture and reads it "My and Nakiri Senzaemon's first New Year's together."

"Nakiri?" 'Where have I heard that name? W-wait it can't be...could it be THAT Nakiri!?'

"Hey, Ichigo isn't that the Tōtsuki Academy director's name?" Vanilla whispered in my ear.

"Eh-EHH!" 'So I was right!'

"What happened Ichigo? Do you know who he is?" Mama asked me.

"Well...you know that I had researched some schools to transfer to and sent my transfer papers to Tōtsuki Academy and well the name of the director is Nakiri Senzaemon" I told said showing them a full body picture of the director.

"WHAT!?" My family screamed

"Damn grandma, you really knew how to choose them" Mama said proudly.

"DEAR PLEASE!" Papa whined again and we all laughed.
