Surprised Disturbance-

Jake woke up early that morning, his schedule for the next week changing from 5:00-8:00 to 4:30-9:00. He got up and left the house after eating and headed to the farmland.

Jack woke up an hour later and sat up, stretching as they did so. They were already informed about the change in schedule, so they were not panicked or worried. Jack stripped out of their night clothing before wrapping the binding around their chest, hiding their true gender. They put a white shirt on and the deer-skinned pants before heading downstairs.

The woman, Emily Overland, was kind and caring; she made her husband and Jake lunch before they left and had made breakfast for Jack and Emma.

Jack later left for their job, passing David Overland on the way. The child shied away from the bulky man and kept their eyes lowered until they were in town.

Jake led the sheep back to their part of the barn before closing the gates. He headed over to the Pig's pen and checked up on Misha and Milly, two expecting Duroc pigs.

"Hey girls, how are you?" An uninterested oink was his only response and he chuckled, "okay, have a good night you two."

He headed over to the goat's pen and smiled at the nursing kids as they clamored around their aged mother.

"Goodnight Polly" the elder goat baahed at him in greeting before returning her attention to the children.

He grabbed his Shepherd's hook from the wall and headed out of the barn, closing the doors as he did. He headed off towards his home as the Springtime breeze drifted around him.

Jack stood at the town's square, waiting on their brother. Once they saw him, they raced over.

"Hey"

"Sup"

The two gave each other a hug before heading home.

"I thought you would be at home already" Jake spoke up.

"...I wanted to wait for you" Jack gave Jake a small smile and Jake returned it.

They entered the house and greeted the other family and ate dinner before heading to their room.

.

The night passed with no disturbances and Jake went to his job the next morning. Jack went home after his work instead of waiting for his brother and waited on the roof for him.

Dusk slowly came and left and Jake's silhouette was seen in the distance. Jack gave a grin as mischief lit up in their eyes. They crouched and waited before leaping off the roof and calling for Jake to catch them. Jake looked up in surprise and the two landed on the ground in a heap.

Jake groaned and opened his eyes, freezing when he saw his and Jack's mouths connected. Jack stared at him with just as big of eyes. The two were frozen in shock.

"I-I... umm" Jack stuttered before quickly getting off of Jake and turning away with a squeak, "sorry"

They quickly ran inside as Jake slowly sat up. He stared at the closing door as he brought a hand to his lips. They still tingled from the warmth of the other.

.

Jack leaned against the door, their cheeks red with a blush. They brought their hand to their mouth. Jake's mouth was cold, like the Winter's snow.

"Jack, is everything alright?" Mr. Overland asked.

"Yup" Jack squeaked, cleared their throat before talking again, "Jake's home"

They quickly went upstairs as Jake opened the door.

.

"Wanna talk about it?"

"..."

"I know it was an accident"

"..."

"I don't blame you"

"..."

"Do you regret it?"

"...No, I don't"

"That's good. Never regret something that would happen eventually"

"It was a surprised disturbance in the force"

"..."

"Now who's quiet?"

"...Shut up"

"Why were your lips so cold?"
