He wouldn't lie, but showering in the shouts of surprise and disbelief from the audience has its weird glorious moment of pleasure.

'So this is what it feels like for the Grimm to feel negative emotions…' He was both disgusted that he felt pleasure from even tasting negative emotions from the people, and yet at the same time his curiosity was sated on knowing this was how the Grimm feel…

But it wouldn't be just the Grimm alone who can sense emotions.

"This is not a tragedy…" As Cinder began with the canon speech, Lordez whispered to his comrade: "Show's starting, get ready." He whispered to his comrade, who nodded in silence with a wild grin on his face.

He was eager for a fight.

Cinder hacked into the system, in his opinion their digital security was primitive shit in terms of their previous world's level, and continued on the speech he would hear almost a thousand times in the series.

"Now?" Orm said impatiently, the wild look on his face obvious.

"Just wait until the lot of them arrive. You don't mind the civvies dying?"

"Let them, plus the others would take care of them while we fight the horde!" He grinned crazily.

If he was still human, he would be very much disturbed by his friend's statement. But he felt nothing. In contrast, he was not human ever since they had arrived in Remnant anyways, and what's the use in reminiscing the past and wishing to go back?

He received notification from his summons outside the perimeter of Vale, reporting that the Grimm horde are now advancing towards the city.

The anticipation draws near, for the King of Nightmares shall arrive in tandem.

. . .

It was not long before the Grimm sirens activated and people panicking all over. Negative emotions all over the place, a beacon for the creatures of darkness to gather around.

Ironwood tries to calm the audience, but a giant ass Nevermore appeared and made them more panicky. The Huntsmen-in-training helpless because they left their weapons back in their lockers, a dumb move.

The ships of Atlas were being harassed by the giant Nevermores, and being destroyed by one of their own. The doings of Roman Torchwick.

Unmarked Bullheads heading to the direction of Beacon.

Chaos erupted around the Kingdom, casualties slowly rising with resistance barely able to stop the black wave from swallowing them whole.

The giant Nevermore broke through the Coliseum's barrier, endangering Pyrrha and Jaune within its claws.

As it was rushing towards Pyrrha who was barely able to regain her composure from being both horrified and shellshock after 'killing' Penny by accident and the crash caused by the previously mentioned giant ass Grimm, the lockets (locker + rocket = locket) landed on the Nevermore, killing it. Or so they thought.

The students grabbing their weapons from the lockets, they were surprised however to see that the Grimm was still alive.

Before it could even move and shake the students off its back, its head was suddenly caved in brutally by a giant sword… Or more like a giant slab of iron with a handle.

"Always, make sure the prey," A familiar voice sounded throughout the arena. It was Orm. His arm was stretched outward, indicating that he threw his weapon at the Grimm.

"Is dead before you can lower your guard."

"Mr Hank!"

"Still alive are we? Good, we still got better things to do." Orm said as he casually walked over to his sword, and tugged it out from the skull effortlessly.

Lordez looked over to Pyrrha, still horrified. It made him feel slightly guilty for not having this part avoided, but change is needed. Plus, he'd get to have a wicked entrance for his other alias and be able to dominate Remnant fully and get rid of the Grimm. It had a bad choice during its First Era, wouldn't be too selfish to try and bring the world all together for it.

Right?

Jaune grabbed Pyrrha's sword and shield, and handed it to her while reassuring her that all is well and what happened is not her fault… A small Nevermore stopped Ruby from retrieving her scythe, but Lordez threw his chain, wrapped its neck before pulling it towards him and cutting it off without any unnecessary movement.

A movement of a veteran Huntsman is what the students thought when they saw it as that. But truthfully he just wants to test out the chain hook to see it was capable of grabbing enemies and pulling them so that he could squeeze their necks like that dark antagonist in a sci-fi film from the 21st century.

'Nice.' He thought as he willed the slime to wrap the chain around his arm like a snake. From an outside perspective, it looked like the chain was alive.

He waited until Professors Port and Oobleck arrived, informing the students to leave.

He could tell that the both of them were prepared to fight to the death, but season's 4 wont let them die needlessly...

"We'll be heading out with them," He said to his co-workers. "To see everyone evacuates fully without harm."

'And to prepare for my entrance…' He grinned maniacally. Oh how gloriously cringe the appearance of the King of Nightmares will be.

"See to it then, Mr Grimm!" Port replied enthusiastically before shooting his blunder-axe at an incoming Griffon.

He made a crooked smile as he faced Doctor Oobleck before leaving. "I will save you some special coffee, doc!"

He managed to catch the doctor's smile at his statement before a swarm of Griffons and Nevermore flew into the scene and Port laughed as he began shooting his blunder-axe.

As they ran out to the docks, it was already in chaos. Or in organized chaos.

He could see that everyone was piling up into one of the docked ships in a hurry. And panic began to spread further when Bullheads appeared over the ledges of the docking areas, unveiling their cargo of Grimm unleashed upon the crowds. Luckily there were no major casualties as he assigned Wraiths that were invisible to avoid deaths. They would protect the civilians from the Grimm without having them know they were there.

To normal human eyes and low levels with no possibility of detecting invisible beings, it would be seen that the Grimm suddenly died without any reason.

He did wonder how the White Fang managed to get the Grimm into the ships without them wrecking around inside and crash landing the damn thing? One of the questions he'll never know.

He managed to eye out several Hunters protecting the civilians against the appeared Grimm horde.

"Students," He said to them. "Go to the General for instructions, we'll be clearing the Grimm away from the civilians."

They nodded without question before dashing to said person who had just executed the Alpha Beowolf like a badass.

"Pushing them away eh?" Orm smirked before lifting his Executor onto his shoulder.

"An excuse they would not question much due to adrenaline," He said before pausing. "And yeah, that too."

Both Players noticed another several unknown Bullheads dropping Grimm on the platform. The two eyed each other.

"Wanna bet on whose kills are the highest?" Lordez suggested.

"Oh you are on, you teasing bastard!" Orm replied before rushing towards the nearby Ursa that was about to attack a civilian that was behind them.

Lordez chuckled before lunging his chain at a Beowolf, pulling it towards him before whipping around overhead and crashing it into its comrades.

Several Grimm were running towards him before he cracked his chain before whipping in a circular form, cutting the incoming Grimm in two. Black blood showering him, dissipating as it struck his clothes.

He noticed that Nevermores and Griffons were harassing the ships from leaving.

He shrugged before moving towards the ships being harassed by the flying Grimm.

. . .

It wasn't very long before all civilians in the Coliseum were evacuated. Lordez and Orm were the only humans there holding down the fort, desperately driving away the horde of Grimm threatening to swallow them whole…

Except they were not desperate, they were just swinging around their weapons and fists at anything that was within their range like a crazed person who was on Psycho, Buffout, Slasher, and Turbo.

(Yeah, references. I dun gib a git you grox-headed dumb!)

"Can we finally go to Beacon now and wreck some gits!?" Orm exclaimed with a smile on his face, and a tinge of impatience in his tone.

"Not even a warmup for the big event against the Grimm Dragon?"

"Then we'll just warm up over Beacon then!" He replied in annoyance before he punched an Ursa through its chest before throwing it to the direction of an incoming Beowolf.

"So you just having fun there, or…?" Lordez grinned.

"THEY ARE NOT EVEN WORTH THE MAJORITY OF MY TIME!"

The Undead winced at the loud, angry shout overhead by his comrade. Before he could give another smartass reply, he noticed a red blur of roses gliding down to the platform.

"Ah Ms Rose, what troubles you here to come back?" Lordez inquired as he whipped through several Beowolf in front of him.

'I forget that she comes back to use the lockets to go to Torchwick's ship…' He grimaced at the overlooked memory.

"O-Oh, I was-!"

"Nevermind. Whatever you are doing, I dare hope to know that you know what you're doing. Now go! Questions later!" He ordered as he mentally sent out a command to a Shadow Demon to keep an eye on her. And if she is in trouble, in very deep trouble, he emphasized, only will it be able to protect her. And until then, it will only watch over her.

Ruby nodded before running back to the arena until she disappeared into a corner.

"She's gone, we can leave now."

"Finally!" Orm boomed in relief and excitement. "Now we can go for the main show!"

'...Eh not really.' Lordez sweated in thought.

"Your bear still good?"

"Ha! As if Misha would be defeated by some measly little critters, I bloody doubted it!"

'And there goes his mood…' He mused.

"Good, so I expect you to enjoy going there without any magic."

"Oh yea!" Orm shouted before silently processing his friend's words. "You say wot, you git?"

Valean Streets - Plaza

"And this is why I hate these tin cans." Qrow commented as he sliced several AKs in half.

The situation was in complete chaos. Qrow and Glynda were utilizing the AKs as their support, but were taken by surprise when they suddenly turned red and began to attack them instead of the Grimm.

"Just focus on the Grimm!" Glynda said annoyed as she used her semblance to slam rubble into a Grimm.

It has been almost 10 minutes since the Grimm had been drawn to Vale, and also when the AKs turned against them, inducing casualties.

The two had been fighting alongside each other before they started to appear.

Glynda was focused on dealing with a large group of Grimm rushing to them, Qrow noticed that a lone Beowolf was about to make a lunge against her from the rooftop.

"Glynda, behind you!" He warned as he was about to intercept the Grimm, before Qrow sensed and turned to see an Ursa Major.

Glynda turned around in time to see a Beowolf lunging right at her. As she was about to use her Semblance to cut it in half, it suddenly stopped mid-air before it itself was thrown onto a nearby building abruptly with a force that would break a truck in half.

The Ursa Major also floated several meters above the ground before it exploded, coating Qrow with its smoking black flesh and blood all over him.

"Damn, you could have just thrown that bear away from me." Qrow muttered in annoyance as he looked all over his outfit, coated in said Grimm guts.

"That wasn't me…" Glynda informed, confusing Qrow before noticing that the Grimm were being attacked from behind… And that they were all being thrown away by something.

What appeared in front of them was a very familiar being that appeared during the Breach of Vale.

A tall, slender black humanoid that would have looked like humanoid Grimm, but devoid of its white bones around it.

A Dark One. WIth its arm stretched out with its open hand. Glynda deduced that it can use telepathic powers similar to hers.

It was not alone though.

Out came from the corner of her eye, were the rumored "Vengeful Spirits" that were sighted along the outskirts of Vale, and sometimes around on different Kingdoms, appeared and were attacking both the Grimm and the now-corrupted AKs.

"...Huh, so they are real." She heard Qrow muttered in disbelief. She couldn't blame him, it was understandable. It was already hard to believe as she had witnessed a certain humanoid Grimm codenamed "Herald" speak.

Like the Ghosts rose from their graves and decided to take vengeance against the creatures of Darkness? It was almost impossible to believe if they weren't seeing it happen right in front of their eyes.

She flinched and felt her body tense up when the Dark One looked at her for who knows how long before walking to where the riders took off. Promptly acknowledging them, but ignoring them as they marched slowly, and annihilating the Grimm in their wake.

They would have almost attacked them immediately, but their instincts and experience screamed at them to not or they would die.

"Huh, glad we got some backup then…" Qrow quipped although he was unsure about whether they are on their side… for now.

"...We need to move." Glynda said as she broke out of her stupor.

"And go where exactly? From what I know, these creatures don't bother humans and faunus. And they are focused on the Grimm."

"Exactly," She replied with a hard glare. Unsurprised that he missed one detail. "That's why we need to go to Beacon."

Beacon. . .

Grimm had invaded Beacon with the White Fang taking advantage amidst the chaos.

Students of all years along with the staff were fighting for their lives. Unprepared and taken in by surprise, they were falling.

But they wouldn't let themselves fall into despair, as they fought and fought both Grimm and White Fang.

The chaotic, and dark creatures of Grimm.

The fallen White Fang filled with terrorists demanding "equality".

As they all fought on, the ground they stood on, the earth they lived on, shook.

Slowly, it ruptured through Vale. Making every being stop and pause by its echoey shake. Most of the people were confused and scared by this event. Only a few knew what this meant…

*ROAR!*

The roar shook throughout Vale, heard by all. It didn't take long for the source to show up…

A Grimm Dragon.

It flew towards Beacon, with liquid droplets dropping from its dark body, creating more Grimm.

The defenders of Beacon wouldn't stand a chance against this new coming monstrosity. They would all be outnumbered and overwhelmed by the enemy…

Or so they thought.

"We got incoming!" Shouted a student as they pointed to the sky to their East. Flying creatures heading towards their location.

"Shit," Cursed an Atlas soldier. "What the hell is the Fleet doing? We're going to get overwhelmed here!"

And just as they could despair, the creatures just crashed onto the Nevermores and Griffons in the skies.

"...What the hell? They are fighting each other?" Someone said in disbelief and confusion.

Confusion and surprise spread amongst both sides, except for the Grimm as they only care about making reckless abandon to eliminate Humanity at all costs, a loud sound blew through the plaza of Beacon.

"What the!? What was that!?"

"That sounds like… A horn?" A male student said, confused.

"And it's coming from the Emerald Forest!?"

Just as they said that, a large group appeared from the mists of the forest. And their appearances surprised everyone at present.

Black knights in armor riding on skeleton horses that would look like Grimm if not for the flames emitting from their very being. They rode with speed that would rival a car, eliminating Grimm, White Fang, and the hacked Atlas androids in their wake.

Monsters also emerged from the forest from where the Black Knights had come. Giant bone-armored spiders that would look scary in comparison to a Deathstalker. Tall and dark humanoids with almost a featureless appearance, and the dead marching behind in deathly silence.

The "Vengeful Ghosts" has arrived.

"It's them!" Jaune said in a fearful disbelief.

"Shit!" A nearby Atlas soldier aimed at the newly arrived group of monsters. Before he could take a shot at them, he noticed a Creep coming up towards him. He was too late and too slow to dodge it and take a shot.

And before it could even take another step forward, it suddenly disappeared from his vision.

He blinked in confusion before his weapon was lowered by his Sergeant.

"Stand down! They are not our enemies!" The Sergeant barked at his soldiers, who reluctantly lowered their weapons against the newly arrivals.

The students were having trouble against a rogue Paladin. And they were shocked to see such a difficult opponent to be dealt with easily by a giant spider.

The monsters and the living dead ignored them as they rampaged through the Beacon grounds for Grimm, White Fang, and the turned Atlas androids.

They tried to push them back, but it was useless. They may be taken down, but they were all low levels with the exception of Elder Grimm and the mid-level undead that can be taken down if dealt enough damage.

It was unbelievable and an impossible sight to see and witness. Monsters killing monsters, and the dead rising to fight against the Grimm. But they would welcome such a relief from them, taking most of the weight from their shoulders, they were able to take a breather.

They then noticed a skeleton wearing worn out robes to float down right in front of them.

Before anyone could speak, they weren't expecting from such a being to speak as it was devoid of flesh and only bare bones.

"We shall handle this from here on out… Gather your living."

"T-They can speak!?" Neptune cried out in disbelief along with several other students in present.

The Lich ignored their reactions and continued speaking. "If you wish to fight alongside… Do not stand in our way. Do not rid us of our vengeance." And without anymore words, it strode towards the enemy. Its movements give it an aura of authority and dominance.

None would dare to argue on its action, not at least that they were assisting them… For now.

The time of the Stagnation, will come to an end.

. . .

"This is what you've been planning about?" Orm looked at the battlefield below, seeing his friend's summons doing gods work against the enemies.

Lordez cast {Mass Fly} on the both of them as they hovered around the clouds, giving them a lot of view on both Vale and Beacon grounds. And to what they saw, it was going well for Lordez's summons against the attackers. Plus he gained some humanity points on saving lives before more were about to be perished.

"I would almost say that I'm impressed but… no."

"Really?" Lordez glanced at him. "Not even at the Grimm Dragon?" He pointed at the massive Grimm that is circling around Beacon, its body visibly spawning Grimm as the droplets were dropped on the ground.

"You said there was a Whale Grimm that is literally bigger than that little puny lizard. Plus this would almost look like a modded event from that 2bit game I've heard before. And I'm not impressed if you want to know." He huffed.

"Yeah yeah, heard you the first time." Lordez waved dismissively.

"...But World Domination huh?"

"...Don't like the plan?" Lordez looked at his comrade.

"No," The viking shook his head. "It's just that… this plan could only go once. And once you are done it… You can't go back on it."

The undead player chuckled. He had thought of this for a while now. But he will go full throttle on it. No turning back now.

"If I had second doubts about controlling the World under my banner right now, I don't. And besides… It's for the better."

The both of them stayed silent as they watched the battle raged on, despite his summons arrival, the Grimm presence is not diminishing due to the immense negative emotions around the place. It was a beacon that would gather almost every Grimm from possibly around Remnant.

The White Fang also were pulling out, but not all of them were able to fall back without getting caught by bought sides of the monsters.

One would kill them, and one would capture them.

While they are terrorists, he wouldn't want to accidentally kill those who were manipulated into joining the White Fang for a good cause. Unless they were beyond reason, then there was no need for them to stay alive. For to make Peace, is to make War.

...Or something along those lines.

"What about the old man then?"

"Ozpin? He'll be holding Cinder back. Considering the fact that he is level 58, I doubt he would be defeated by some naive power-hungry teen." He said confidently.

He wondered how in the hell Ozpin managed to get defeated by someone who has half a magic back in canon. Then he remembered that he gave most of his magic to the Maidens… It was a dumb idea of his to do so, and so showed the consequences.

"If you say so…" He said in uncertainty.

"Oz will have delayed the moment when Pyrrha is in the stasis pod and will notify once he informs us about the Cinder arrives."

"Wouldn't it be easier to just grab her now?"

"True, but I'd rather make her believe that she could even have the chance to get Amber's soul and become a Maiden completely."

'It's what she deserves…' He thought coldly as the cruel scene of a memory of Cinder executing Pyrrha.

"...You're evil you know that?"

"HAH! As if. It's the most watered-down plan for her."

"What's the original then?"

"Have her mind fucked in many ways possible." He replied casually that had almost made his friend double-take from that statement.

"...Never mind then." He deadpanned.

And almost suddenly, a notification popped in his mind.

[Mr. Grimm, it appears that Cinder has arrived and has obtained the completion of the Maiden's soul as you predicted]

He raised a brow at the coincidence. He made a smirk, his planning going almost as predicted. Just only a bit faster.

[Good. Inform Jaune and Pyrrha to get out of that place while you hold Cinder down there for a little while. In the meantime, I will be making an… appearance]

[As you wish, Mr Grimm]

"Looks like the show is about to start."

"Isn't it already starting?" Orm snarked a reply.

"Just follow damn it." Lordez said before flying towards the direction of Beacon's Tower, where the Grimm Dragon is circling around slowly.

. . .

Beacon Underground Vault. . .

Ozpin was certainly surprised on how the Supreme Being was able to predict when Cinder, his current assailant, arrived when his student Pyrrha went into the stasis pod to extract Amber's Maiden powers.

He deduced that is because they are Supreme Beings, and that they know more than a lowly creation from his Creator.

Those Created wouldn't know the knowledge that their Creators would have had. And even if they were given the same knowledge that the Creators had known, it would still be impossible to comprehend what is in their mind.

He is rather concerned on what will happen to the students right now from above. No doubt his comrades were there to help them out, but they are rather few in number.

He is somewhat thankful to himself that he listened to the Supreme Being's advice on not to use the pod to extract Amber's soul and implant it onto his student. It was painful, but a necessity for the future. Even then, he himself began to question… Would it even work?

He doesn't know. Despite living in this world for around almost a millennia, possessing a person each time his host died. And being intelligent, there are things that not even he would know would work. He was… Unsure of his own decisions.

He questioned whether it was a flaw by his Creator? He doubted it, the Supreme Beings never made a flaw… But hearing one stating that they make mistakes is rather… Conflicting to his end.

But he is rather focused on dealing with this bratty human that is growing to be an annoyance to both him personally and maybe in the Supreme Being's plans.

He couldn't fully use his entire arsenal as it would destroy the entirety of Beacon. Plus the concern of his students may also reside above the Vault, he could not take that chance.

Ozpin dodged effortlessly at the glass shards thrown towards him before pushing forward and relentlessly thrusted his cane at Cinder multiple times.

The hits got in, although she didn't look like she was hurt due to her Aura capacity increased immensely from the recently gained Maiden's powers, and the fact that she was using magical aura to also protect herself.

Cinder then fired a blast of flames towards Ozpin, who dodged before using {Magic Shield} from another attack.

Cinder scrowled before floating and summoning all of her Maiden powers, gathering onto her palms, preparing to fire her greatest attack.

Ozpin, seeing this, silently casted {Reinforce Armor}, {Magic Armor}, {Magic Caster's Blessing} and {Magic Boost}. He then rushed towards Cinder before she could fire.

Unfortunately, he was too late. Cinder unleashed the hottest of flames that she could muster on Ozpin.

Ozpin gritted his teeth. He couldn't dodge this one, so he quietly casted {Magic Shield} to block the attack. It wouldn't be able to hold on for long, and so he retreated, giving a good amount of distance between him and her.

'Creator, please grant me strength.' He prayed inwardly before throwing {Flame Bolts} at Cinder.

Cinder smiled arrogantly before waving a shield of fire, blocking his spell.

"Are you this st-!" Cinder began to monologue but stopped as she saw the Headmaster was suddenly right in front of her.

Before she could contemplate on how he was able to close in their distance when he was far enough, her body reacted instinctively to block the incoming attack.

Ozpin delivered a slashing strike, making a booming sound when it hit Cinder, throwing her almost as fast as a bullet and impacting onto a wall.

On the outside, Ozpin would look like he was doing well against Cinder. But truthfully, he was running out of mana as he wasted on that strike using the {Booming Blade} spell onto his cane.

He would have been able to use his equipment fully and defeat Cinder, but he had to put up the act for the Supreme Being's plan.

Griminicing at his limited disposal of arsenal, he wouldn't be able to finish her off. He can only buy time for the Supreme Being of Darkness to arrive and deal with this nuisance.

Despite that, he rushed forward. In a blind hope in defeating her for the Supreme Being.

It is mercy to be defeated by him rather than be in the hands of the Lord of Nightmare's hands. He may not be showing any malicious intentions whatsoever, but he might be letting this wretch live and work for him.

Defeating her would prove that she has not the worth to be used for the Supreme Beings, and that she will be dealt with. For all the crimes she had done ever to this world.

Cinder grunted in annoyance with a hint of pain as she slowly removed herself from the cracks of the wall.

As Ozpin brandished his cane, empowering it with Aura, he raised his cane towards Cinder. But she responded by counter-attacking him with her flames, forcing Ozpin to block.

She then delivered a roundhouse kick. Ozpin grunted at the hit as he spinned around and hit her with the cane in the head, making her dazed.

Pulling Cinder with his cane, he then threw a punch at her face, making her fly on her back and onto the floor.

It did not hurt her as much, but the impact behind the force was able to make her head spin in circles if not slightly.

Even with the deed done, Cinder suddenly burst the area around her into a pillar of fire, causing Ozpin to take steps backwards from the intense heat. Even with Aura and magical buffs on him, it was still hard to resist against such a thing.

"As expected from someone like you," Cinder's voice spoke throughout the vault and while still within the fiery pillar. "But in time, you will fall."

"Such arrogance because you received the entirety of the Maiden's power." Ozpin said calmly as he felt sweat from the intense heat.

"It will be your downfall."

"Or would it be yours, Ozpin." Cinder smirked, her eyes glowed with fire once more.

Ozpin braced for an incoming attack.

And then…

He arrived.

Looks like that'd be it folks.

For now.
