Back to work

Lets get this done.

The attack on Beacon is slowly getting pushed back by their unexpected, monstrous allies.

The Grimm were getting pounded by the monsters, being dealt with almost no effort. The White Fang were no exception to this as well, for they were also getting slaughtered without mercy.

The defenders on the school ground took awhile to push their shock aside as they continued to fight back.

Hope is growing within them. Slower than ever.

The defenders found themselves being able to take a breather whilst the rumored monsters took their place for them.

But even with their unexpected monster reinforcements, there are still too many Grimm!

. . .

On the skies. . .

Another battle took place on the decks of one of the remaining airships of Atlas.

Ruby was busy fighting against the two criminals she bitterly knew these past months. She honestly didn't expect she would fight these two in this kind of a situation. Not to mention on the deck of the Airship, with the strong breeze against them.

And she is outnumbered and slightly outmatched by one.

Ruby was thrown almost overboard, hanging over her scythe for dear life.

"I may be a gambling man, but even I know there are just some bets you just don't take…" Torchwick said.

Neo brandished the blade from her umbrella, slowly and menacingly walking over to Ruby.

Ruby kicked an incoming Griffon in the face as she listened to Torchwick's monologue. She saw an opportunity to get herself out of this situation.

"-if you can't beat them-!"

Ruby pressed the button on Neo's umbrella, causing it to open and forcing her to fly away.

"Neo!" Torchwick shouted.

"I don't care… what you say… But we will stop them, and I will stop you. Bet on this!" She screamed as she rushed towards Torchwick.

Even with her speed, Torchwick was able to hit her with his cane. Ruby was unable to land a hit on him on her attempts.

"Ooof!"

"You got spirit Red…" Torchwick walked up to her… Casually raising his cane. "But this is the real world!" Hitting her another time…

"The real world is cold," Another… "the real world doesn't care about spirits…!"

As he was about to hit her for another, Ruby kicked him away.

Roman Torchwick gritted his teeth as he got up and walked back towards her. "You wanna be a hero? Then play the part and die like any other huntsman in history!"

As he was about to hit her for another time, Torchwick couldn't move his arms. He grunted as he tried to push the cane downward, before realizing something was holding his cane—!

He regretted looking behind him.

His eyes widened to see a humanoid monster holding the end of his cane. He couldn't move as fear held a tight grip around his body.

The withered monster in armor threw Torchwick away, overboard from the airship. It took a few seconds after being thrown, that Roman realized that he was now falling from the skies.

Ruby looked at the newly arrived in recognition.

"H-Hey, you're the one from before."

The Dark Wraith didn't respond and just simply stared at her in silence. It unnerved her, but she had a tinge feeling that this… whatever it is, it wouldn't harm her. It helped her before… So maybe it's friendly?

It suddenly ran towards Ruby, to which she froze in fear before noticing a Griffon behind her. Grimm's claws were upon her…

The Dark Wraith tackled the Griffon, pushing the Grimm back surprisingly for its size. It thrust its sword straight through its chest, making it roar in pain before falling down motionlessly in death.

"Huh… Thanks." She didn't know what to say honestly. But she could sigh in relief when it went for the Griffon and not her.

Then came another wave of Griffons diving down to attack them. The Dark Wraith noticed this and didn't waste any time in attacking them.

Ruby saw her Crescent Rose and rushed to retrieve it. She was about to help the Dark Wraith out, but an explosion shook the airship, making her stumble. Several more explosions happened, then I noticed that the ship was going down.

She can safely jump out of the ship with her scythe but her savior was… Wait, where is he?

Another big explosion shook the ship, making her fall overboard. Regaining her composure, she angled herself and pointed Crescent Rose down and fired for recoil, slowing her descent.

She landed safely and watched as the airship began to crash land while thinking of her strange savior monster. She couldn't help but wonder about it, but now was not the time. She has to go and help her teammates!

. . .

"Yang!" Blake shouted to her partner, in an attempt to stop her from getting hurt. But she was far too angry to hear her, angry to see her partner getting stabbed by the red-haired faunus with a sword. "No… Please!"

Yang cried out in anger, enraged to see her partner getting hurt. She then bursts out as she lunges straight towards Adam. Who simply readied his stance, aiming to cut down this foolish human getting in his way.

In a flash Adam moves, and before she can register anything her arm has laid on the ground with her aura cut off, causing her to go down unconscious without even knowing what had happened to her. Blake ran in front Adam and stood in between them, protecting her partner from him

"…Why must you hurt me, Blake?" Adam said with a tinge of sadness in his voice.

She didn't reply, only looking at him with glaring and hurtful eyes. It pained him, but she betrayed him and the people she stood for… Before…

He slashed at Blake's head, only for her to fade away like a shadow. He blinked in surprise before hearing hurried footsteps behind him. He saw Blake carrying the blond girl, fleeing him.

He frowned, and as he was about to follow her, suddenly an attack came from the side of the building…

A huge monster burst through the walls, noticing Adam before lunging at him. For a second, Adam thought this monster was a new type of Grimm. It then took another second for Adam to realize in disbelief, that this monster was one of the monsters from the Breach in Vale. And it is here in Beacon.

Adam gritted his teeth in annoyance as he made to slash the Skull Spider's incoming attack with its leg, only to not expect that even with his dust-coated blade supported with his Semblance, is unable to cut through this monster's leg!?

The spider swatted Adam to the side with its other leg, crashing him onto a wall. He groaned as he felt a damage to his Aura. The rumored monsters, be it one of them, is stronger than he realized. He felt pain from that attack.

Grunting up and brandishing his blade, he felt ready. Underestimating would lead to his death.

"…You're in my way, monster."

The Skull Spider simply growled in reply before the two lunged at each other.

. . .

Beacon Vault. . .

Lordez, under the guise of his 'Herald alias, arrived just in time to see the fight between Cinder and Ozpin. And it seems that the former was about to beat the Headmaster, only for her to be denied.

Honestly, he was glad to arrive early to stop the fight and avoid Ozpin, or Antonio specifically, from reincarnating into another person. It might be Oscar same in canon, but with the canon story going awry, he doubts it would be the same.

Ozpin could almost relax, letting his knees collapse in relief. But at this moment he couldn't, there's still a job to do. And showing weakness in front of the Supreme Being would make him look 'useless'. He cannot allow himself to look as such.

Cinder, on the other hand, was both excited and terrified upon the Herald's unexpected arrival. It appeared out of nowhere. Not to mention they are underground, so how did it know they were here…?

Was it her having acquired the complete form of the Maiden's powers? Is it able to sense the Maiden's Aura? Did Ozpin call upon this thing?

No matter, thinking such things are useless. This Herald for the 'King of Nightmares', whoever they are, her mistress and goddess has no knowledge of them whatsoever.

Lordez looked upon them in silence. Not before Cinder was the first one to break it.

"So the Herald of the King of Nightmares has come… Mind explaining why?"

The Herald turned its gaze towards her. Cinder wouldn't admit it, but she could almost feel its eyes staring deep within her soul.

"Maiden…? No… Recent… Forced…?" It spoke as if it was trying to understand something… "No… False Power… By the False Nightmare…"

Cinder raised a brow, wondering what it meant by 'False Power'. Would it be the Maiden's Power? Or… Wait, could it be…!

The Herald turned to look at the Headmaster, looking at the man for a moment before brandishing its greatsword.

[Stand back, Antonios…]

Ozpin nodded at the {Message} response before walking further safe from the fight. Cinder could only wonder as she prepared herself for the fight.

She frowned as her mind was grinding their gears, trying to process what in the world she was seeing. How in the world does Ozpin know about this Herald? And for how long?

Her thoughts were cut short when the Herald, without any warning at all, lunged at her with its greatsword. Roaring with its might as it came swinging down upon her. She dodged to the side, summoning a flare upon the Herald's face as she did so. Much to her surprise when the Herald had managed to change its weapon's trajectory to shield her attack with its flat end.

It didn't end there when it spun around and tail-swiped her from the back. Throwing her a good few meters away. She summoned glass shards and fired back at Herald, who simply took them head on and rushed in back at her.

This caused Cinder to notice that the Herald has no Aura protecting it, seeing some glass shards sticking some parts of the Herald's body.

Cinder then summoned twin heated-glass swords before blocking the Herald's weapon. She was not expecting such power behind its attacks, almost that it staggered her to oblivion. Changing her strategy, she cannot block but only parry it away for her to land a hit on the monster.

The Herald swatted Cinder away with his free hand, almost making her impact onto a wall if she hadn't slowed down at all. The Herald didn't give her any time to gather herself some breath when it appeared in front of her and grabbed her by the neck, raising her several feet from the ground.

She struggled to escape from its grasp, but it was fruitless as it was powerful.

"Desire… Power… Yet Power… Weak…" It said, looking at her. She swore that it was told in a tone out of spite and pity. She hated it!

Gritting her teeth in frustrated anger, out of desperation she summoned a glass sword and stabbed Herald's chest. The Herald roared in pain. It worked that it managed to loosen his grip on her, making it stumble backwards as it looked at the glass-sword stuck on him.

Just as she was getting her shit together, she barely failed to notice a punch delivered straight at her face, with enough strength to make her fly from one end of the vault. She got up before noticing something liquid dripping down from her face. Touching her cheek, she felt her eyes widen in disbelief.

Blood. Her blood! How is it possible? Her Aura hasn't been depleted yet!

Before she could even process how it happened, the Herald let out a roar that would have almost deafen her. Not that being in a vault increased the echo and volume of its loudness.

The Herald, no, the Beast charged at her like a mad animal. It swung at her with it, no form, no technique behind it, just its simple and absurd strength.

She couldn't go on like this for long, she has to end this. She cannot prolong this fight.

She cannot lose to this beast!

She heated up the ground beneath the Herald, trapping its feet with glass. Summoning multiple long spears of molten glass, raining upon the Herald. Piercing through its bone ragged armor, making him look like a pincushion.

It still wouldn't die.

She then summoned a pillar of fire, concentrating all her power into the attack. Maximizing the capabilities of her fully acquired Maiden powers. She didn't let up until she was certain that the Herald is dead from such an attack.

After what seemed an eternity for her, she dissipated the pillar of fire and looked upon her results in disbelief.

The Herald is still alive! But at least it wasn't unscathed by her attack. It looked barely alive, still standing with the support of its weapon as a crutch. Its clothes burnt and tattered, embers lingered around it as it stood trembling no doubt in pain.

Cinder waited for good moments to notice that the Herald wasn't even budging from its spot despite being still alive. From what it looks, it was on the verge of death.

"…So the Herald of this "King of Nightmares" falls to its knees… You were a difficult opponent, I admit." She said mockingly as she approached the Herald in dominance.

Ozpin, still present in the room, didn't budge from where he was. His face cracked slightly, showing bit signs of concern. Watching as Cinder approached the badly burnt Lord in his other form. Thoughts on whether this was the Supreme Being's plan on being 'defeated' or… something… No…

'The Lord has something up his sleeve…' He thought. 'Being defeated by a lowly human with the powers of the Maiden must be intentional… But why?'

He was conflicted on what to do. Intervene and defeat Cinder? There was certainly an opportunity now that her Aura should be depleted, and her strength dwindled due to the fight of the Herald. If so, then he might mess up whatever the Supreme Being's plan is…

He hasn't given him any instructions as of now aside from standing by and watching. For now, he can only wait.

Cinder stopped at a good distance in between. Summoning a sword on her hand as she examined the ruined Herald, who slowly and painstakingly stared at her.

Cinder almost flinched from those eyes, but still held on to the vanity of dominance.

"…Pity that you should have served me instead of your master, Herald." She smirked. "You would have done so much more alongside me… Too bad, you're just a beast."

The Herald cackled, making Cinder frown as she watched it slowly got up from its knees, standing tall. The wild aura, its bestial behavior, seemed to be replaced by something else entirely…

"The Fire… It… Barely sings a sting upon my skin…" As the fire subsided and smoke cleared, showing the Herald bloodied, it didn't seem to be hindered by the damage. "Prepare yourself… Girl…"

Cinder muttered a curse as she prepared herself for another fight.

. . .

Beacon Grounds. . .

"Hey, I think the Grimm are wearing out!" One of the students assisting in the defense exclaimed.

"Can it kid! We don't need to tempt fate on us even more!" Barked back an Atlas Sergeant as he continued firing his rifle. "And check your fire! Don't even try to hit on those friendlies!"

"You mean the monsters attacking the Grimm?" Inquired the same student.

"Mind to speak out the obvious kid," Grunted the Sergeant mildly. "Otherwise they'd be attacking us instead!"

The defenders had managed to secure a perimeter covering the pathway towards the docks, taking shots and holding off against any Grimm coming by. The friendly monsters were out on a rampage against the Grimm, the troublesome Atlas hijacked bots and mechs were now disabled. The White Fang pulled out of the Beacon as the situation became more chaotic and uncontrollable.

It didn't help with the Grimm Dragon still flying, it being preoccupied by flying monsters attacking it, with several Skull Spiders webbing it and trying to bring it down, supported by the Dark Ones using their telekinesis to help anchor down, but only barely.

The Liches are hurling fireballs after fireballs, switching to lighting and earth spells should one seem ineffective.

Some of the other monsters, mostly skeletons and a couple heavy hitter Skull Spiders, were dealing with the Grimm spawning from the Dragon's dripping tar.

One of the soldiers noticed a couple of students running towards them from the docks.

"Hey! Where do you two think you're going!?" One of the soldiers was about to stop them, until a fashionista informed them that she knew them.

"Ruby!" Coco stepped up and greeted her. "Good to see you alright, who are you talking about?"

"Pyrrha and Jaune, we couldn't find them anywhere!" Ruby said. "Have you seen them?"

"After all the chaos we've been through? Don't think so." She shook her head.

"Come mon, Weiss!" Ruby said to her partner, as the two ran towards the inner sanctum.

"Hey, kid! Where the hell are those two going!?" The atlas sergeant walked up beside her.

"Trying to look for a couple of friends, but I couldn't find them at the docks." Coco informed.

"Tch," The Sergeant looked annoyed, frustrated, and concerned at the same time. "I know you girls and boys are training to become huntsmen and all, but the sheer recklessness…" He shook his head as if he was disappointed.

"Well, that depends…" Coco started to say, but only to be interrupted as another wave of Grimm had managed to pass through the chaotic battlefield of monsters.

"Ready up, here they come!"

Coco was quick to rev up her minigun and started shooting.

. . .

Ruby and Weiss went through the chaotic battlefield on the school grounds. It was barren of any living thing, aside from the monsters battling on it. The rumored 'Ghosts' versus the Grimm.

It was a chaotic sight to see, and almost terrifying since they were heading through the heat of it.

Occasionally the Grimm would try to make through towards them, only to get intercepted by one of the monsters. The Ghosts tend to ignore them, only going after the Grimm. It was almost as if they were trying to protect them.

It was unnerving, but they focused themselves on trying to find their friends. It took a while, but they managed to find them.

"Over there!" Ruby exclaimed as she pointed to where Pyrrha and Jaune were. "Pyrrha! Jaune!"

The two mentioned perked up and ran towards them.

"You guys! Where were you? We were worried sick!" Weiss said, relieved to have found them.

Jaune and Pyrrha glanced uneasily at each other. "It's… kind of a long story." Pyrrha said weakly as she looked away.

"We'll explain it once all of this is over." Jaune said. "But right now, we need to get out of here."

"Right, this way!" Ruby exclaimed as she led the way. "Everyone's heading to the docks for an evacuation!"

"Whoa! The 'Ghosts' are here?" Jaune asked as he took a quick glance at a group of armored skeletons holding off a couple of Ursa.

"Yeah, for whatever reason, they are helping us out!" Weiss replied.

They turned at a corner, only for their path to be blocked by a cluster of Grimm.

Just as they were about to draw their weapons, out came a Dark One from one of the ruined buildings. Striding towards the cluster with its right arm raised towards them.

The Grimm floated a few feet above the ground, trashing their feet around midair as they were not expecting to be floating. Then the gruesome part came when the floating Grimm suddenly exploded, black smoking blood and gore covering the area around.

The students looked in awe and frightened of such ability, similar to Professor Goodwitch, used in a brutal fashion.

They flinched when the Dark One turned its glossy, almost featureless blank face upon them. It was unnerving to say the least. It stared at them for a good moment before walking away.

"Well… That was a thing." Jaune commented, slight terror in his voice.

"…Let's keep moving."

The group continued to move, their path was given a wide berth. As if the Ghosts were pushing the monsters away to give them a safe passage through. They reached the defense perimeter and were greeted by Coco.

"You guys are safe!" Coco waved. "Didn't like to think something bad happened to ya!"

"Yeah, we found them by the CCT tower. Everything was… chaotic!"

"I think that's an understatement." Weiss said.

"What the hell do you think about going out there like that!?" Barked harshly the Sergeant as he walked over towards them. The man glaring at the group, mostly at Ruby and Weiss.

"W-Well, ermm—"

"Well sir, got back with our friends safe and sound, what's there to be mad about?" Weiss glared back.

"The recklessness of the two of you heading towards a very hostile zone, outnumbered and not to mention the possibility of provoking the Ghosts!" He exclaimed. "Now good job on not dying, now get to the docks!

"Incoming Grimm!"

The conversation concluded as there was another wave of Grimm rushing towards the perimeter. Everyone drew out their weapons, as those with guns began firing. It didn't seem difficult at first, but then bad luck seemed to catch up to them.

"Shit! Deathstalkers!" One of the defenders cried out in alarm.

Two Deathstalkers are skittering towards them, claws and stinger at the ready. They were about to be overwhelmed, just only for something to crash down on one of the Grimm.

"Hey! Who's that!?"

"M-Mr Hank!"

The man pulled out his greatsword out of the DeathStalker's skull, tilting his head to the side just as a stinger almost struck close to his face. He grabbed and cut the tail off, making it roar in pain.

Giving it no time to recover, he closed in and smashed his weapon against the Grimm several times that his weapon caved into it before it could attack back.

Another roar sounded off. Misha charging through the horde, tearing the Grimm apart in its way with ease.

"Cover fire! Take the Grimm off their rears!" The Sergeant barked an order as he regained himself from awe. Seeing their unexpected reinforcement about being overwhelmed.

The defenders picked off the Grimm flanking them, but not that it was necessary as the two were tearing the attack apart.

In moments, they cleared through the Grimm attack. Giving them a breather of relief.

"Hmmmm… Didn't seem fun as before in the tunnel." Orm mused, watching his partner Misha stomping a Creep with its massive paw.

"Mr Hank!" Ruby and the others approached him. "What are you doing here?"

"Interrogation immediately, Ms Rose? Not a 'thank you' anywhere?" Orm sighed dramatically, sounding hurt. "Do kids not learn proper manners?"

Orm chuckled at her stammer, much to his amusement and her friends.

"I'm joking, Ruby. But in all seriousness, I figured I'd be the one who'd clear the Grimm out of Beacon."

The students looked at him with wide eyes.

"Just you? Not to offend you, Mr Hank, but I don't think that's possible." Weiss said, sounding doubtful.

"Yeah, the Grimm would overwhelm you!" Jaune agreed. "They're way too many!"

"You'll never know unless you try, Ms Schnee. And besides, I have a… Semblance that allows me to do something… Crazy." He smirked. "Not to mention, I'm not alone. I got Misha covering my back, and the Ghosts are helping out, so it's not out of the realm of possibilities, no?"

He didn't bother waiting for a reply as he turned around, gazing upon the burning Beacon. Then looking towards the Grimm Dragon on the skies, looking annoyed by the pesky creatures harassing it. It is getting angrier by the second.

"And besides, I got something to deal with…" His voice chilled their spines, the tone spoke dangerously…

"Evacuate now, and don't make any trouble." He said before dashing away towards the direction of the Grimm Dragon with Misha following behind.

The teens watched as their guard ran towards what seems to be absolute danger for a good moment before deciding that they were heading to the docks.

Orm used a couple of skills to boost up his speed to reach the Grimm Dragon. He wanted to test how strong it is, and how long he will be bored of it.

Being strong is good and all, but the challenge at times would turn little to no entertainment. Boring as it is.

Being nerfed back to the lower levels brought him some nostalgic hell of grinding.

The viking stopped just below the Grimm Dragon and activated one of his skills.

"|Wolf's Howl: Struggler's Cry|!" His roaring shout boomed throughout the place.

All the Grimm in the area stopped and turned towards the direction of Orm. Including the ones on the skies, looking down upon what irked their attention.

They couldn't ignore it. The call… They must remove it!

The Grimm rushed towards Orm without any care in the world, even with the summons around doing their best to kill the Grimm around them were ignored.

Orm smirked as he saw what he needed to bring his attention, was the Grimm Dragon. It let loose a roar of rage before swooping down upon him.

It didn't expect for the one who brought its attention to leap towards it.

Orm let out a battle cry of his own as he drove his weapon through the Grimm Dragon's right arm. To his surprise, it was snug stuck halfway through. It was stronger than he thought it would be.

Or was his equipment weaker than he thought it was?

The Dragon roared in agony as it flew wildly around in the air. Orm was able to hold on to it until it smacked on a nearby building. He pulled his greatsword, landing on top of a roof.

Almost immediately, he was surrounded by Grimm all around him. He cleared the overwhelming horde easily enough, but it was enough to keep him distracted from noticing the Dragon about to devour him.

He sidestepped the attack, jumping on top of its back as it flew directly upwards. Grimm spawned on its back, immediately rushing towards him. He had no problems fighting them, but they were annoying as they were like flies drawn to the stench.

He almost regretted aggroing the attention to him, but he wanted more. More to kill. More to swing his blade at their flesh.

After a few moments of cutting the spawning Grimm down, he had an idea. He cut one of the dragon's wings, making it roar in agony once more as it spiraled down out of control, crashing to the ground. Landing… harshly.

He was getting tired of being rolled around. If he was still normal, he would have vomited out his stomach.

He cleared Grimm rushing to try and overwhelm him with numbers, but repeatedly wasted effort. The summons then arrive to handle the fodders, as he can focus mostly on the Grimm Dragon now.

It got up on all fours, looking angrily at him before letting out another roar of rage.

"Try not to bore me, Dragon!" He smirked as he brandished his blade. "I'm just getting warmed up!"

The two charged at each other. Teeth and blade ready to kill and maim.

The students board the airship, evacuating from the docks.

The teams got on the ship, tired and injured from all the fighting and the situation they've been through.

RW and JP checked on their respective teams, giving medical first aid as best they could.

Ruby stayed near with her unconscious sister, Weiss, along with them. Blake was resting and healing from her wound, looking away from her team, ashamed imprinted on her face.

"…" Ruby was crestfallen, looking at her sister's stump. She teared up as she hugged her, although gently as to not wake her.

"…It's my fault this happened." Blake muttered. "If I was faster and…"

"No it's not, Blake. It's not your fault." Weiss said.

"Yes it is!" Blake raised her voice slightly, but quiet enough that they could hear. "I was stupid, trying to reason Adam…"

"Blake…" Weiss looked at her sternly, though her voice was soft. "What had happened… Happened."

"But—"

"It's not your fault, Blake." Ruby said, pulling away from her hugging and wiping her tears. "You never meant make it happen. And besides… My sister is still alive isn't she?"

Blake was quiet for a good while before she let out a smile.

"Yes… She is…"

"-Hey! L-Look! Something is happening with the Grimm!" Someone exclaimed, looking out the window.

Those able and conscious peeked out the window and saw Grimm, all of them, were converging towards Beacon. Then they saw the Grimm Dragon crashing down, making most of them cheer. Many guessed that somehow, managed to take the Dragon down. But their cheers died down when it roared once more.

It was not yet down for the count.

Then another roar responded, a different one, more bestial and wilder…

"What in the Oum is going on over there…?"

Stories would differ, between the Dragon and the Slayer. Many times so often that the victor would be the Slayer, and few times often it would be the Dragon.

In some circumstances, it would depend.

But the Slayers would often have heavy injuries and wounds that would, most of the time, would put them to a near state of death.

Dragons are not so different.

Orm 'fought', which in reality he was simply testing and playing around with the Dragon. Letting it hit him a couple of times, and he would mostly defend against its attacks. Though he would smack its head with the flat-face of his sword like teaching a toddler to behave.

He was gentle with it.

[Orm, you there?] Lordez's voice pinged in his head.

[A moment…]

Orm parried away a claw coming down on him, kicking the Dragon a dozen meters away from him.

[On the surface playing with the Dragon. How's it going on your end?]

[Done playing with the bitch, about to head up in a few minutes. Are all the students safe?]

[If you mean your summons swooping them up and dropping them on the docks, yeah. I'm 90% sure that we got them all]

[Orm…] Lordez sighed.

[Hey, you're linked with your summons. Can't you literally like, see what they are seeing? Like a 3rd eye or something?]

[Having to act and look at some things at the same time is not as easy as you think it is]

Orm was about to retort but held his tongue. He did the same when summoning his wolves during the hunt of the Gamer. There was a linkage there with the wolves… It was certainly weird.

[Gotcha, gotcha. Anyways like I said, people are fine. Most of them are at the docks. I pulled an aggro on these buggers, and holy crap there are alot. It's like the {Endless Swarm} spell]

[Did you boost your range?]

[Yep]

Came out a grumbling sigh came from his friend's end. [This is going to take a while… Anyways, see you in a few minutes. I'll inform you once were at the surface]

Orm grunted a affirm just in time to see the Grimm Dragon tail swipe him in his moment's distraction.

"Oof!"

He flew and crashed to a nearby building, buried beneath the rubble for a good moment before getting out of it.

"Caught me while I was distracted… Not bad, you little shit…" He glared at the dragon, chuckling. "But I think it's about time to end this anyways, a shame I couldn't enjoy longer."
