Hirizen Sarutobi has seen many geniuses in his time as hokage, but none in as perplexing a situation as this.
Sighing wearily around his pipe the old man asked his subordinate again, "your Son —a boy who only recently joined the academy— guesses two S-classed secrets— on his own no less —and you, a jonin commander, panicked and brought both of your children here— with a shunshin at this hour, because..."
"What a drag," Shikamaru mumbled from his place under his twin, where the boys had landed when their father had panicked and brought them there after Shikaoi's revelations.
Shikaoi struggles to untangle himself from his brother and quickly bowed to the hokage shyly.
"Hai hokage-sama, I apologize if Naruto's occupant is a secret. I was unaware due to the way the villagers outright ostracise and mistreat him. Please don't be mad at tou-san," he muttered nervously looking down.
Shikamaru lazily stood up and stood next to his brother watching the adults warily and still reeling from the quick turn of events.
The hokage peered at the two boys gently. "You are not in trouble Shikaoi-kun," Sarutobi reassured, he and the Nara head noting how Shikamaru minutely relaxes his stance next to his twin.
"Then what's going on?" Shikamaru asked. Grasping his twins arm protectively.
"You can't tell anyone what you have learned Shikaoi and Shikamaru-kun," the hokage ordered. "Shikaku-san, take your children home and assure Yoshini-san that the boys aren't in trouble. I'll see you tomorrow."
The three Nara left the Sandaime's office—none aware of the blank masked eavesdropper.
A.N.: Sorry about the short chapter.
The next one will be longer.
