Hey there Folks. Now this Fic will feature some ideas based on Total Dramarama. Some chapters will be continuations of previous episodes, or extra scenes from previous episodes or original ideas. Deputy Duncan (A sequel Episode to All Up In Your Drill)
It was a normal day at the Daycare Center as the kids were playing with toys, and such. Only kid not playing was Courtney as she was looking at a smoke alarm. Courtney pressed the button on the Alarm, and it made a buzz.
"Yep, All good." said Courtney as she put the smoke alarm back on the wall.
"What are you doing?" asked Duncan.
"Testing out the batteries on this smoke alarm." answered Courtney.
"You should always test it once a month, and replace the batteries once a year." instructed Courtney.
"Right." said Duncan as he rolled his eyes.
Duncan then took a look at the Fire Helmet Courtney was wearing. Courtney was given the hat by Fire Cheif Blaze, and was made the Official class fire fighter. Duncan admited that he wanted to wear the hat because it looked cool. He along with the other kids even got the helmet off of Courtney temporarily allowing Duncan to be the official class fire fighter. Unfortunately, A real fire proved Duncan wasn't ready to be captain. Courtney took over, and fixed everything.
"Say Courtney, Any chance I could wear that cool hat?" asked Duncan.
"Sorry, But I can't just let you wear it." explained Courtney.
"Come on, Why not?" asked Duncan.
"Because you don't know anything about fire safety, Remember when you thought the best idea to deal smoke in the classroom was to hold your breath forever?" referenced Courtney.
"Right, but is there any way I could try to earn the opportunity to wear the hat?" asked Duncan.
"Well I could use a deputy." said Courtney.
"What's that?" asked Duncan.
"I'll teach you all the ins, and outs of fire safety." said Courtney.
"Pass." said Duncan.
"If I'm not around, You can wear the hat." said Courtney.
"Did I say Pass?, I mean ok then." said Duncan.
Afew minutes later, Courtney had Duncan sit at a table as she showed him a picture of children playing in a living room.
"Now there is a fire hazard in this picture, Can you tell me what it is?" asked Courtney.
Duncan looks at the picture for about a minute.
"Uh.. The kids are running too fast?" answered Duncan, Not knowing the answer.
"Wrong!" yelled Courtney.
"The Lamp near the couch has a frayed wire, That's a fire hazard." explained Courtney as she pointed to the Lamp.
(Later) Courtney shows Duncan afew toys in a row.
"Now which toy should only be used with an adult present.
Duncan looks at the toys, and then picks a Stuffed Giraffe.
"Gerald is abit dangerous." said Duncan.
"Nope, The right answer is the toy Oven." said Courtney as she pointed to the toy oven.
(Later) Courtney, and Duncan were sitting at a table eating their lunch.
"Now do you take anything with out when you leave in case of a fire?" asked Courtney as she drank her juice.
"Uhh... No?" responded Duncan.
"That's right, Stuff is replaceable, People aren't." said Courtney.
"Replaceable people eh?" pondered Duncan as he imagined his parents were holding two Duncans.
"This one is 25% off." said Duncan's dad.
"50% off, and a free upgrade." said Duncan's mom.
"Cool." said Duncan.
(Later) Courtney, and Duncan are outside with the other kids playing.
"Now what do you do if fire gets on you?" asked Courtney.
"Scream, and run around in circles?" responded Duncan.
"No, You stop, drop, and roll." said Courtney.
"Watch, You stop, Drop, and Roll." said Courtney as she dropped to the ground, and rolled.
"Now you." said Courtney as she got back up.
"Stop, Drop, and Roll." said Duncan as he dropped to the ground, and rolled.
"Good." said Courtney.
Duncan continued doing so until he ran over a mud puddle.
"Ew, but still good." said Courtney.
"Thanks now if you'll excuse me, I gotta go wash up." said Duncan as he back inside.
(Later) Courtney, and a cleaned Duncan are getting ready to get picked up by their parents as she talks to Duncan.
"Now, What do you do if when the Fire Alarm goes off?" asked Courtney.
"Get out pretty darn quick?" responded Duncan.
"Well not exactly, You do get out, but try to do it calmly, and if smoke starts piling up stay low to the ground.
"Courtney, Your mom is here." said Chef.
"We'll continue our lesson tomorrow ok?" said Courtney as she left.
"Ok." said Duncan.
(The Next Day) Duncan walked into the Daycare, and placed his backpack in his cubbie.
"Morning Chef." said Duncan.
"Good morning Duncan." said Chef.
Duncan then noticed that Courtney's cubbie was bare.
"Where's Courtney?, She's usually here first." asked Duncan.
"Courtney isn't here today, She's at the Dentist." explained Chef.
(Dentist's Office)
"Okay Courtney, What can I help you with?" asked the Dentist.
"I've noticed that the front left bicuspid on the top row is beginning to loosen so it looks like it might need to be extracted. I'd suggest you use the small pliers to your left for a safer extraction." explained Courtney.
"Okayy.." said the Dentist as he looked dumbfounded.
(Back at the Daycare)
"So that means, I'm the Class Firefighter right?" asked Duncan.
"Technically yes." said Chef.
"Allright!" said Duncan as he grabbed the Firefighter hat, and put it on his head.
"Now remember Duncan, There comes alot of responsibility with being the Firefighter." said Chef.
"I know." said Duncan.
"Now, To enjoy this Hot Coffee." said Chef as he is then sprayed with water by Duncan.
"What?, It was Hot Coffee." said Duncan.
"Hey Duncan, Can I use the this old power strip for Mister Robot?" asked Harold as he held up an old busted up power strip with frayed wires.
"Uhh.." said Duncan as he was imagining Courtney shaking her head no.
"That doesn't really look safe, Just give me a second to find something else." said Duncan as he grabbed the power strip from Harold, and walked away.
"Here try this." said Duncan as he gave Harold some shoelaces, and a large wooden block.
Harold took the items, and tied the shoelaces to the block, and Mr. Robot.
"Cool, Thanks Duncan." said Harold as Mr. Robot was walking with the block behind it.
"No prob." said Duncan.
"Duncan, Can I use the Tiny Tots Oven Triple Please?" said Izzy.
Duncan was thinking about it as he imagined Courtney giving a Thumbs down.
"Tell you what Izzy, You can use it, but only if Chef is willing to moniter you." said Duncan.
"Hey Chef, Do you wanna make Cookies in the Tiny Tots Oven?" asked Izzy.
"Would I?!" said an excited Chef.
"Thanks Duncan." said Izzy as she, and Chef started baking.
"Well all in a days work." said Duncan as he decided to sit back at the craft table, and draw abit.
In the kitchen however, a small spark from an outlet blew off, and landed on the ground. It eventually formed into a small fire as some smoke billowed out into the daycare room.
"What's that smell?" asked Harold.
"Can't be the cake just yet." said Izzy.
Just then, The fire alarm rang out signaling the fire.
"Fire!" screamed Harold, and Izzy as the kids begin to freak out until Duncan blew a whistle to get everyone's attention.
"Okay, Everyone remain calm, and lets all walk out of the classroom in a calm matter." said Duncan.
The kids all begin to leave the Classroom.
"Wait, What about Mr. Bananas?" asked Bridgette as she noticed the stuffed monkey she was playing with is on the floor.
"Sorry, but Mr. Bananas is replaceable, You aren't." said Duncan as Bridgette then headed out of the Classroom, and into the playground.
"Looks like we are all present, and accounted for." said Duncan as he then noticed something on Chef.
"Uh.. Chef." said Duncan as he pointed to Chef's shoulder.
"Ahh! I'm on fire!" screamed Chef as he sees the small flame on his shoulder.
"Stop, Drop, and Roll Chef!" yelled Duncan as Chef does just that to put the fire out.
"Thanks Duncan." said Chef as a firetruck pulled up to the daycare.
Fire Cheif Blaze gets out of the firetruck, and entered the daycare with a fire extinguisher. Blaze uses the fire extinguisher to destroy the fire.
"Well that was close, Just a small fire." said Blaze as she walked out.
"How did it start?" asked Harold.
"Well judging it's trajectory, It came from the kitchen & made it's way into the playroom. Thankfully, It didn't get too powerful." explained Blaze.
"Where's Courtney? I remember making her the official class fire fighter." asked Blaze.
"Oh, She's not here today, I'm filling in." answered Duncan.
"Yeah, Duncan got us out safely, and he's just the deputy." replied Izzy.
"Impressive, Here you go then deputy, An official fire fighter deputy badge." said Blaze as she gave Duncan a badge.
"Cool, Though Courtney taught me all I needed to know." said Duncan.
"Well I'll be sure to call her up, and commend her for training a smart deputy." said Blaze.
"See you later kids." said Blaze as she got in the firetruck, and left.
After a minute, The class got back into the daycare.
"Well it looks like everyone is ok." said Chef.
"Not everyone." said Bridgette sadly.
"Who's not ok?" asked Chef. Bridgette held up Mr. Bananas whose belly was burnt open.
"Poor Mr. Bananas." said Bridgette.
"Hold on, I can fix him." said Chef as he took Mr. Bananas into his office, and returned afew minutes later with Mr. Bananas belly patched up.
"Here you go." said Chef as he gave Bridgette Mr. Bananas.
"Thanks Chef." said Bridgette.
(The Next Day) Duncan walked into the Daycare, and placed his backpack in his cubbie. Courtney then approached him.
"Hey there Duncan." said Courtney.
"Hi Courtney." replied Duncan.
"I got a call from Fire Cheif Blaze yesterday commending me for training you." said Courtney.
"Yeah, I even got this cool badge." said Duncan as he showed her the badge.
"That's very nice." said Courtney.
"Thanks, So what should we do now, Spray stuff with my water gun?" asked Duncan.
"No, we should go around, and check if everything is in order." said Courtney but sees Duncan looking bummed.
"If something is on fire, You can spray it." added Courtney.
"Ok!" said an excited Duncan as the two then walked around.
