Chapter 2: Swimming
Taro is sitting in the living room with Usagi and Venus, they are discussing about their upcoming plan of spending a day at the Juuban district, usually, when Usagi has a date with Mamoru, Usagi will always be the one to suggest him where to go, especially she wants to go to the arcade centre, with a lot of animal plushies everywhere, Mamoru, at that time, just wants to go back to his house and have a nice rest after the overload work of High School, but, in order to make Usagi happy, he even stayed with her at the centre for almost an hour, barely have any time to eat, or study, just to stay with his girlfriend. Usagi, Venus, even Taro, himself, doesn't even know that Mamoru is her boyfriend , he actually regretted that they have a debate with his brothers, why , at that time in the moment when Usagi is asleep, Venus's ghost is kissing him on the forehead, isn't Venus has Kunzite as her boyfriend? Or maybe Venus is lonely, have no one as her boyfriend, so she kissed him? He has many questions floating in his head all at once.
" Neh, Taro san, where do you want to go?" Venus asked.
" Uh, I'm not sure. Because I'm not familiar with the streets." Taro said.
" What about going to the arcade centre, Taro san? Mamo-Chan brought me there always to help me to buy a rabbit plushie!" Usagi smiled as she jumps.
" Or to the Swimming Pool with Ami? Ami Chan texted me that she and her boyfriend are going to swim, what was his name again?" Venus wondered.
" Jack, Ultraman Jack." Taro said.
" Oh Yes! Jack san! He has helped Ami Chan and Haruka san to fight against Queen Nehelenia, except Ami Chan and Haruka san being trapped in the Mirror by her." Venus shrugged as she sipped the hot water.
" True? Minako Chan, Because I was controlled by Queen Nehelenia, I have no idea what is going on." Usagi asked.
" Yes, Remember one time, when we finished our lesson, we actually talked about this off screen." Venus said.
" But, isn't this is a bit strange? Why You, Jack , Ace and Zoffy san help us, why not Ultraman and Seven san?" Usagi wondered.
" Seven and Ultraman needs to patrol. So they can't join the fight." Taro replied.
" No wonder I heard the classmates that they saw the first few episodes have you four instead of six." Venus said.
" And you didn't help me to fight against the Phages, Taro san!" Usagi scowled.
" Look, Usagi, this show is Sailor Stars, right? Not Ultra brothers X Sailor Moon. So, the rest of the episodes, is to leave the job with you and your friends." Taro said.
" I even saw the news, said that a kid, who loves Ultraman and Sailor Moon, has an interview, he said his uncle is actually a fanboy to Ultraman, his uncle is influenced by his son, so he even called the TV company to make a crossover!" Venus said.
" Wow! I didn't know that, I thought we are the forgotten heroes in Japan." Taro said.
" Naru said that her mom actually has watched Ultraman with her friends." Usagi said.
" Shall we go out and talk about this later, I want to meet Ami." Venus said.
" Sorry, Minako Chan." Taro said.
" Let's get packed, Guys?" Usagi said.
" Alright then!"
Then they packed their goggles, swimsuit , and Venus holds Taro's hand as they rushed to the swimming pool.
Taro is blushing hard, he doesn't know what is love, when he is still a kid with no talent, until her parents share about how they meet each other, he starts to know what love is, and started to train himself. Now he is a lucky man, that a sailor scout can be his girl.
They arrived at the swimming pool, many sounds surrounded the pool, the kids laughter, the sounds of splashing water, created a happy , cheerful place. Taro himself had been in the water before, it's only when he fight against a monster, he didn't even have enough time to enjoy the coolness, How the waves hit to his body, the time has come! But, he also has doubts, whatever Tuxedo Mask is hiding a corner, actually is spying them, he is scared that he even grips his bracelet, just in case he use the bracelet and transformed into an object to restrain him, he looked all around, and there's no sign of him, he let a breath of relief.
" Hi, Ami!" Venus greeted.
" Minako Chan! Taro san!" Mercury greeted as she wiped herself with a towel, while her boyfriend, Jack is relaxing in the chair.
" Jack! You are here!" Taro looked at his brother, and waved.
" Taro, Hi! I just finished swimming with Ami Chan, What are you doing here?" Jack asked as he opened his sealed mouth , sipped a glass of cold orange juice.
" Minako Chan told me she wants to meet Ami Chan, because they wanted to swim together." Taro said.
" Wow, Ami Chan is so strict, I almost forgot the steps that She taught me."
" Jacccckkkkk! Don't sit there and have more fun with my daughter!" Ami's mother, Saeko has just finished changing her swimsuit and pulled his arm.
" Ow, Saeko san, stop pulling my arm!" Jack winced as he pats her arm.
" Jack, why is Saeko so obsessed with you?" Taro asked as he rushed to his brother.
" She's Not obsessed! She's just too excited to see me on screen!" Jack shrugged as he pats her hand.
" Now, my brother is gone, is just me left." Taro muttered as he sit cross legged.
" Taro san, come! " Venus said as she pulls his arm.
" Minako Chan, wha-?" Taro said as he fell into the water.
" Taro san, let me help you." Mercury said as she holds his hand.
" Eh, wha-wha-What?" Taro said as he blushed.
" What, Taro san?" Venus asked.
" No, I'm just not getting used to it when a girl holding my hands." Taro said.
" Doesn't matter, Taro san, get used to it, because when I share my relationship with Rei, we also hold hands together." Venus smiled as she recalled herself with Rei.
" Oh well." Taro said as he splashed the water with his legs, while holding Venus's hands.
" Ami chan, Help me! Your mother is crazy! " Jack said as he struggles to breathe because of Saeko's grip.
" Mom! Stop hugging Jack san! He needs to breathe!" Mercury climbed up the water.
" Saeko San! Stop!" Venus climbed up the water, and pulls Saeko, but she doesn't notice Taro can't swim.
" Help…I can't swim!" Taro tries to swim up , but he sank into the water.
" Taro san!" Venus dived herself in the pool, and he holds his arms.
" Taro san, Are you alright? Hang in there!" Venus said as she pats his cheek. " No, Taro san!" Venus grips his hand as she cries.
" Wait, Minako Chan, he still has a pulse, that means you need to do something." Saeko smirked as she checked his pulse.
" Do you remember, when my brother, shingo almost drowned, then Ami did the CPR to him, then he is fine afterwards?" Usagi asked.
" Yes, I think this time you need to do a CPR to Taro san." Mercury said.
" Go for it! Little lady!" A random lifesaver said.
" Taro is going to kiss Minako!" A young teen reading the entertainment magazine said.
" Heh. " Jack is not impressed.
" Taro san, now for my kiss, Sorry!" Venus said as she cupped Taro's cheeks and does the CPR.
" Ooooohhhh!" All of the parents, lifesavers and kids are looking at the scene.
Taro coughed the pool water, his almond eyes glowed.
" Mmph, whats this feeling? Minako Chan kissed me? Seriously?" Taro thought as he open his eyes.
" Taro san! You're alive! I thought you were dead!" Venus said as she thumped his chest with tears flowing.
" You really are an idiot, Minako. I'm alive as well." Taro wrapped his arm to her back.
" Taro, you alright?" Jack said as he pats his back gently.
" I'm fine. Jack, thanks." Taro said as he pats his hand.
" Jack san, shall we continue to swim? " Mercury said as he grabs his arm.
" I want to take a rest, My legs are tired." Jack said as he rubs his legs.
" Ok then, Let's take a rest together." Mercury said. " You remind me of Taiki."
" Taiki? Oh, Sailor Star Maker? Jonias told me a lot about her." Jack said.
" Taiki is so caring, he even took care of me." Mercury blushed.
" Isn't Taiki is a female?" Jack asked.
" When they arrived in earth, they are male, but when I saw Taiki transform, he transformed to a female." Mercury said.
" Oh." Jack said.
After they finished talking, Jack, Saeko and Mercury leave the pool, and bid farewell to Taro.
Mamoru is actually on the other side on the pool, he is using his towel, wiping his back, he saw the scene entirely. Why they need to appear in the swimming pool? He just wanted to forget about what he dreamt last night, and take a swim alone, he usually invite his friend, Motoki, to the swimming pool and have a nice chat, this morning , he has a sudden outburst about the nightmare, even yelled at Motoki about this, he wants to apologise to him, but doesn't know whether Motoki is angry , so he decided to take a swim in the pool, just to relax himself. It's too late now, he saw what Usagi's friend did to Taro, he is so furious.
""how come this "Chaos ancestor " is in love with Minako Chan? Isn't Chaos is our enemy in Sailor Stars? Minako! You are a fucking stupid scout! And what the fuck is this? Why even Ami Chan, and her mother is not afraid this silver weirdo?! They should just fight against them, instead of swimming each other!"" Mamoru said as he gripped his hidden baton in his bag. " Maybe I should talk to Usako, she's with Minako and Ami." Mamoru continues to talk as he hides the baton.
Mamoru then packed his bag and his swimming trunks, and prepare to leave the swimming stadium. While Taro, Usagi and Venus are a few meters near Mamoru, if Mamoru turned his head behind, Taro would be killed, sooner or later.
" Usagi chan, Who is that? Holding a bag with a tuxedo suit?" Taro said as he pointed to the man.
" That's Mamo-" Usagi said but Venus is covering her mouth.
" Usagi, you have to lower your voice, Mamoru san would even know you are hanging out with Taro san." Venus said.
" But, Mamo Chan is in front of me. I want to speak to him." Usagi said.
" You can speak to him, but we have to hide." Venus said as he pulled Taro to the information counter.
" Minako Chan , why are you afraid of Mamoru?did he done something bad to you?" Taro asked.
" No, Taro san, Mamoru san is the only person you haven't does your brothers." Venus said as she pats his shoulder.
" What should I do? Hide from Mamoru?" Taro asked.
" I think so, don't rush to him, I don't want to see you and Usagi hurt." Venus said.
"Mamo-Chan! Hello!" Usagi waved.
" Oh hi, Usako!" Mamoru waved back.
" What are you doing here?"
" Swimming, just to relax myself of a nightmare last night."
" Oh, that's sad, by the way, Mamo-Chan, why don't you invite Motoki san?"
" Usako, tell me. Have you had a friend?"
" Yes, why?"
" Don't tell me it's a boyfriend. I won't be happy if you lie to me."
" Mamo-Chan , What are you talking about, He's a normal friend."
" Are you sure?" Mamoru already knows she is lying, because when they stepped out of the door, he saw Taro is wrapping his arm to Usagi and even nudged her close to him, even Minako herself, is kissing Taro's cheek before they leave.
" Yes, I'm sure. 100 percent sure." Usagi said with confidence.
" Ok then Usako. Have fun with Minako!" Mamoru smiled as he waved.
" Bye, Mamo-Chan!" Usagi smiled.
After Mamoru's back is no longer visible, Usagi the gestured Taro and Venus to walk out of the counter.
" Usagi, you alright?" Taro asked.
" Whew, Mamo Chan almost exposed me, I can see his eyes, he hates me now." Usagi sulked.
" Then try to be careful. Like go to some crowded places." Venus said.
" Let's go to the hot spring, and have a nice sleep, settling ourselves?" Taro said.
" That's a good idea! I haven't been relaxing in a hot spring for a long time." Usagi exclaimed.
" You're the best boyfriend I've ever had, Taro san!" Venus hugged him, Usagi hugged him also.
" Wow, Thanks, girls." Taro blushed a bit.
As they are walking happily out of the exit, Mamoru is standing on the corner, hiding. He is actually giving Usagi a chance to tell the truth, he can't stand Usagi to be a liar, throughout these months, after his star seed being restored by her, his hatred level to Taro raised up a bit, not really high. He is still calm, like a sea which has no waves. But, he still cannot accept the fact Taro is hanging out with Usagi, now it's up for him to find out.
Taro , Usagi and Venus are going to the Hot Spring, will they meet any of their friends, will Mamoru loses his temper and kill Taro? Stay tuned for the next chapter! Oh! And the cover image of my story is Ultraman Taro! Thank you for the people who vote my Poll!
