Disclamer: I only owe Honey Lily Osborn
A Brother's Guardian Angel
This takes place after my OC Character helps out Spider Man save both the children in the trolly and MJ, getting in the way between him and the Green Goblin, taking her to an unknown location.
Scene 1: Moonfox reveals her true identity.
"You are not my daughter."
Even though, the Green Goblin still had control over her father, what he said hurt her deeply.
Her eyes turmed from light brown to amber. "Why would you say that? Is it because I sided with the enemy. I'm sorry, if our paths diverted."
Removing her fox gloves tossing them near her mask both of her arms were being crystalized in purple Smithsonian. Throwing punch after punch at blinding speed that look like they were catching on fire.
Scene 2: After Norman is skewer by his glider.
"Godspeed, Moonfox." This was his last chance to take out both his weaker self and the woman standing in front of him.
Like her father, she too, had enhance hearing, hear the blades unsheathing as the glider lifted off the ground.
Unfortunately, Norman wasn't lucky, as he saw the glider missed its intended target and was heading straight for him. "Oh."
Honey watched with horror as her father was pinned to the wall.
What did I just do, He almost took out his own flesh and blood. Then again, Norman wasn't himself, not since that fateful night with the performance enhancers.
"Honey, forgive me..." He looked at her with pain filled eyes, as he struggle to breathe.
He tried his best to fight out of Death's grasp, but failed.
He uttered his last words to her. "Don't tell Harry..." He slumped on top of the glider. Hoping that his son doesn't know the truth about his father.
Honey Lily knelt down beside her father, resting her chin on his shoulder, nuzzling deeply into his cold flesh underneath the fabric of his jumpsuit. She knew that the man. She respected and love was gone from this world.
"I'm sorry this had to happen to you, Dad, you didn't deserve this." she murmured in an sorrowful tone.
Honey Lily wrapped an arm around his waist, while placing her hand on the back of the glider, pulling its blades out of his body.
Tossing the hovering vehicle to one side, she felt him slumped against her chest.
Honey Lily gently laid her father's lifeless body, on the ground, closing his eyes."Don't worry, I be right back, then we're leaving this place." she said turning to walk away.
When she went to retrieve her fox gloves
Honey Lily spotted something out of the corner of her eye. laying in a pile of rubble was the mask of the Green Goblin, picking it up with one hand.
"You!" the feral fox instinct inside the gentle flower snarled, narrowing her eyes.
"Because of you, we've lost a father."
In that same hand, she crushed it into a thousand pieces.
The voice of the Green Goblin echoed in her mind, after the destruction of the mask. You can't get rid of me that easily.
What did he mean by that? She thought to herself.
Throwing the pieces over her shoulder.
Scene 3: Honey brings her father's body back to the mansion
Later at the Osborn Mansion, we see Moonfox sitting on a bed cradling her father's body, a black sheet covered both his wounds and his naked form. She knows that this would be the last time she gets to see him.
Sometime must have passed by.
She heard footsteps, heading in their direction.
Harry walks into the bedroom seeing a fox girl holding his father's body. beneath her eyes were red and puffy from crying.
"What have you done?" Harry shouted angrily.
Rolling her eyes and thought about shaking her head but resist the urge to do so, at him, annoyed with his stupidity of the situation. Then watched her brother's every move as he rushes over to a nearby table, standing a few inches next to the doorway, pulling a its drawer, out of its contents was a gun, aiming it straight at her.
"I wouldn't waste your bullets on me, if I were you boy," she said softly, it almost sounded like a growl.
"You want to bet." he said, squeezed the trigger, the bullets flying out of the barrel . As they approached their target.
He was surprised when the bullets had bounced off, as if something was blocking them from hitting her.
Moonfox got up from the bed gently laying her father's body in her place, she knelt down once more at his side for a moment as she planted a wet kiss on his cheek.
She slowly rose from her spot, walking to the window she came in earlier. Climbing onto the ledge, jumping out of it.
Harry ran over to the window, hoping to see the body of the woman, who had just jumped, hit the ground of their mansion, instead he heard the fluttering of wings greeted his ears.
Scene 4: Honey Lily has one last conversation with her departed father, before he crosses over to the afterlife.
On top of the rooftop of the mansion, she came to know this place as her home. Overlooking the city of New York, she felt a warm presence behind her, as a pair of arms rest on the back of her neck
"Oh no, don't let it be him?"
"Don't let it be who?" Moonfox heard a familiar voice. Ghosts have the uncanny ability to know exactly what the other person they're haunting is thinking.
Moonfox tilted her head all the way back to see a pair of brown eyes neeting her gaze.
Was this really her dad, or was they curse to be haunted by the ghost of the Green Goblin for all of eternity.
Norman unfolded one of his arms, moving his head to the other, laying his cheek flat on it. a green clad hand touched the arc of her wing, stroking it gently, reassuring her of who he was.
"Hey Honey," he said in a soothing voice, trying to comfort her, after all she's been through.
"Dad..." she said with wide eyes.
"How would a daughter be shock to see her father?"
Honey let out a sad sigh As she lowered her head back down. "You know why."
"I do, I'm sorry about having to leave the both of you."
"Dad, it's okay, you're free from the goblin's grasp."
"Thanks to you."
Norman didn't have much tine left on this plane of existence.
"Honey..."
"Yeah?"
"Can you do me one last favor?"
"Can you watch over and protect Harry, he needs you more than you know."
"I guess this is goodbye, then." Honey asked him.
He shook his head, "No, think of it as... see you later."
She let out a small chuckle, "It will be, the end of time til we see each other again."
"It will be worth the wait."
Final Scene: Honey finally decides, that it is time to come down from the safety of the mansion's roof, to go comfort her brother, after the loss of their father.
Honey Lily saw the first rays of morning light approaching the horizon, she was trying to decided whether to come down from the roof of the mansion or not.
Reluctantly, she jumped off. Want to or not, I have to do this for Harry's sake, he needs someone to comfort him, especially now, since he lost his father.
As she landed at the window that led to her room, she said a small prayer to the heavens above, in her head. Dad, give me strength, I don't know if I can do this on my own.
She heard his voice flooded her heart and mind, Don't worry Honey, I always with you.
She knew that he will always have her back.
Honey opened the glass panel of her window, climbing in, closing it behind her.
