The Voyage of Sarukenshi Ch 22
*Back on the writing hype train feels good to keep this story going if even just for myself I hope some people enjoy it though, anyways onto the exciting chapter*
*The Rescue Asuna Operation is underway and going off without a relative hitch currently Fisresu is ready to take on his adversary Spinta in a match to settle the long standing draws caused by marine interruption*
Spinta: Huh you seem like you're deadest on this petty sparing match aren't you. *Spinta moves a rogue strand of hair from his face he seems to not be taking Fisresus desire seriously as the Light green Pinstripe suit wearing Captain readies himself he suddenly shares an intense glare at Fisresu* However I must admit the idea of you finally reeling in defeat would be invigorating and not to mention a shining example of what a superior marine should be against inferior savages like you.
Fisresu: Oh yeah, well here are three facts about myself. *Fisresu takes a lunging sword swipe aiming for Spinta's legs* One I hate stupid superiority complex types that think nobody is their equal and nothing can ever damage such shiny exuberant Facades they wear. *Spinta blocks the strike with ease then goes for a thrust toward Fisresus chest which he swipes away with his blade the two continue this exchange of swings and thrust making it appear as a full on fencing versus samurai battle till they clash swords again*
Spinta: Hm I'll admit you're fairly skilled it's a shame that you couldn't be more of an example to your clan instead of being a cowardly rogue.
Fisresu: Two never mention my family if you want to keep your neck! *Fisresu takes a horizontal swing at Spinta's neck in a rage Spinta thrust his sword upward to block the swing*
Spinta: Huh impulsive anger will get you nowherhgg..*Fisresu took a quick jab with his left hand and the side of Spintas neck while he was distracted on blocking his sword*
Zolo: Heh he used his rage as a feint instead of a false courage boost in power, a sign of a wise formidable swordsman.
Fisresu: Three if you want to win you pull out all the stops no matter who the opponent even if it's some pompous navy lapdog. * He smirks at Spinta as he tries to follow up his jab with a swift slash at his chest but before it connects Spinta leaps back with just enough space to dodge glaring in anger at Fisresu*
Spinta: Don't get full of yourself just because you landed a hit every dog has his day, However I'll send you back home licking your wounds the fights only just begun. *Spinta adjust his stance standing in a low squatted position but posing his blade high above his shoulder* Dancing Crab Lance!
Fisresu: Oh great and now the show is underway, bring it on crab legs! *Spinta thrust with incredible speed while circling Fisresu who does his best to block and dodge the piercing shots*
Zolo: Hmm that guy has some intense footwork and that light sword gives him an edge at pinning down his opponent with furious blows I see why Fisresu's had some trouble with him.
Chopper: WOOOW those guys are really going at it can Fisresu really win Zolo?
Zolo: Oh yeah with his skill I don't see why not however he's gotta take the initiative he's trying to figure out a way to end this in one incredible strike while his opponent is trying to dash him with a barrage of distinct blows it's a battle of wills that can only end once the other figures out they need a change of pace. A warrior who sticks to what he knows will fall prey to stagnation a true warrior not only adapts to the fight but adapts his own way of being when met with steadfast opposition, a sword can cut everything or nothing it is the swordsman duty to find out when to cut to find that moment no matter how or once you do….*In that moment the exchange between Fisresu and Spinta comes to a conclusion as Fisresu charges forward taking a thrust to his arm he winces but crouches tucking himself and throwing Spinta off balance*
Fisresu: THIS WIN IS MINE! THUNDER CLOUD SHIVER! *Fisresu leaps upward with a rising slash landing cleanly with thunderous force ripping Spindas suit from the torso to his right shoulder and sending him skyward before landing on his back,* I didn't want to admit it but you have some skill but I couldn't leave here without showing you my resolve is the only thing me and my family share I won't rest until I give something my all. See you round Spinta might wanna get a new suit for our rematch. *Fisresu sheathes his katana then walks away toward Zolo and Chopper*
Chopper: That was amazing Fisresu you finally beat that guy! But did you have to purposefully get hurt like that seriously you swordsman and your reckless abandon make my job a lot harder. *Chopper says annoyed while wrapping a bandage around Fisresu's arm*
Zolo: Well you got your warm up now we get the rest of this workout over with. *Off from the side some marine soldiers can be heard approaching the training ground*
Marine: Whats going on he..CAPTAIN MEN QUICK HELP ME GET THE CAPTAIN OUT OF HERE!
Zolo: Your captain will be fine however you can't move him just yet were not done causing trouble *Zolo says with a devlish smile as he wraps his bandanna*
"Well I certainly didn't expect such deplorable circumstances to befall Spinta but nor did I expect dastardly scum like the Strawhat pirates to be on this island I will not allow you to interfere in our affairs nor escape this facility." *Vice Admiral Momonga steps onto the field with his Navy cape sitting firmly on his shoulders over his purple stripped suit on full display and his sword drawn and a stern face of stone as he looks over Spinta then back to Zolo, Chopper, and Fisresu*
Zolo: Well bout time the top brass showed himself.
Momonga: I'll say this once stand down or I will take the lot of you out myself and you Boy *Pointing his blade at Fisresu* You seem content with defeating my foolish apprentice, HOW ABOUT YOU FACE A TRUE SWORDSMAN! *Momonga charges and swipes at Fisresu with a flying sword slash careening at him*
Fisresu: THUNDER CLOUD RETURN STROKE! *Fisresu fires back with a smaller piercing flying sword attack dispersing Momongas* Bring it old man just don't be upset when you gotta retire early!
Zolo: Sorry kid you had your fun already it's my turn for some exercise, Well admiral duel me right here and now unless you rather pick on fledgling kids to stroke your ego…*In that moment Momonga closes the gap between hum and Zolo as the two clash swords looking eachother in the eye Momongas face peering with daunting determination as his red mustache furls in the wind and his stare unyielding*
Chopper: *Whispering* Fisresu remember we have to keep causing a big enough distraction so the others can get Asuna and leave this place without them tailing her.
Fisresu: Hmm right fine guess we can play along while Zolo has his fun. *Chopper and Fisresu turn toward a group a marines trying to back up Momonga and begin fighting * LETS SEE THAT MARINE PRIDE GO UP AGAINST MY BLADE PUNKS!
Chopper: You'll never defeat me, I'M A MONSTERRR Muscle Point!
*Just a few yards away on the roof of the facility Sanji and Pietro look on the scene*
Sanji: Well leave it to the Moss-head to get into trouble with the Vice Admiral feh whatever not my problem maybe he'll get a beating or two.
Pietro: You sure you two are crewmates you guys act like mortal enemies, I know you guys are strong but that is a Vice Admiral and definitely no slouch of a swordsman Momongas hardened disciplined blade is revered amongst everyone in the Marines.
Sanji: Heh he'll be fine the guy may be a green haired meathead but if he's got one thing you can count on is his ability to muscle his way through any challenge, plus if that idiot wants to be the greatest he's not gonna let some marine get the best of him. Come on I think there's some soldiers coming along this side we gotta makes sure they don't notice the hole the bandit guy made in the wall.
Pietro: Hmm so you really admire him after all, what a funny dynamic.
Sanji: HUH!? I never said I admired anything I just said all that dumb training he does he better not even think about losing! Anyways come on.
Pietro: Right (Hey Saru you still listening? Seems like the distractions are doing the job how's the inside of the facility lookin security should be thinning out by now.)
*Back with Sarukenshi Nami and Robin in the holding cell Nami cloaks herself with her mirage tempo and opens the door slightly showing no marines in the hallways just empty chair at the desk they passed on the way in with the door leading out to the training yard open*
Nami: Alright coast is clear what's our next move Saru-chan?
Robin: I assume we're headed to where this Dr. Adam is correct?
Sarukenshi: You'd assume right I'm going to let the others know first. (How goes the search for those files guys?) *Back in the Document office Clemantine, Dorobotsu, Luffy, and Hitodenshi are sifting through records folders and cabinets combing through for something when Hitodenshi finally breaks the silence*
Hitodenshi: (Alright got Asunas file should have figured Adam lumped her in next to ours alright Sarukenshi we got what we came for if the buildings mostly empty lets head to Adams office Nurse Akina should have already made it there and told him the situation.
Dorobotsu: Yo so um not to derail this operation with conversation but this is all pretty intense were basically turning a government associated building upside down. We're not gonna be able to just run back to the old mans place and lay low.
Clemantine: Yup that's true but I think everyone taking part in this mission already knew the risks and repercussions so just keep moving no turning back now!
Sarukenshi: (Well said Clemantine that be said I do apologize for getting you guys involved in our crews problems. That being said if push comes to shove you all are welcome to join us, theres always room for more friends who are willing to help eachother. But we'll save that conversation for after we rescue Asuna lets head to the Doctors office.)
*In said office just two doors down Adam is seen talking to Nurse Akina and Asuna who is sitting on a flat evaluation table with two Marines sitting on the opposite side of the office one of them is fiddling with a stethoscope hanging at the edge of a small desk when suddenly his transponder snail goes off*
Marine: AHH jeez damn thing, excuse me Doctor. *Klik*What's going on? What reinforcements need to be out on the training ground? RORONOA ZOLO!? We'll be right there *Klik* Dr. Adam sir Nurse Akina we need you to stay in this room we have pirates on the premise don't leave here until the Marines from the escort ship arrive understood?
Adam: Crystal clear sir we will hold down the fort here please be careful I can only patch up so many of you. *Adam chuckles slightly while looking at Akina*
Marine: Well don't you worry I assure you Vice Admiral Momonga will handle it we just need to secure the area COME ON WE NEED TO GO! *The two marines storm out the room and close the door behind them leaving Asuna, Akina, and Adam who share a sigh of relief*
Adam: Well it seems like your friends came after all they're certainly seem like the rowdy bunch and if Paz's kids are helping too I think we can expect them pretty soo..*suddenly the door opens revealing Hitodenshi first along with Luffy, Sarukenshi, Nami, Dorobutsu, Robin, and Clemantine*
Hitodenshi: Looks like we got here just in time, its good to see you again Doc.
Dorobotsu: Yeah long time no see bet you didn't expect to see us during a jailbreak.
Adam: You know ironically It wasn't exactly the furthest thought from my mind when it comes to you guys Hehe it is nice to see you all, as for you *Looking towards Sarukenshi* You're the hero Asuna talked about.
Asuna: Yup that's Sarukenshi he's totally gonna get us out of here and get us to safety and make sure the bad guys get taken out, Ohh I need to show you guys my new toys! *Asuna takes out the Humandrill toy and the Sky warrior toy and hugs them tight before kissing them both on their heads as she does this both the toys eyes blink then they leap from her arms land at her feet and bow*
Sky warrior: Lady Asuna it's a pleasure to fight on your behalf.
Asuna: Hehee thank you Captain Kilik, and you too Shoru.
Humandrill: EEK your thanks is very much appreciated.
Sarukenshi: Well its nice to see you both, now I as much as I appreciate a check up every now and then, I think we're all fit as a fiddle time to go Asuna. Oh and thank you both for taking care of her and aiding us.
Adam: Oh think nothing of it there was no way I'd let them ship off someone into slavery to the celestial dragons as long as I could help it.
Akina: Indeed we couldn't just stand by and do nothing besides not the first time we've had to aid a bail out or too isn't it Hito *Akina chuckles a bit at Hitiodenshi*
Hitodenshi: Yeah yeah I get it I get in a lot of trouble ironically more than our little sticky finger friend here heh!
Dorobotsu: Hey not my fault I know how to pick my marks. So shouldn't we be getting out of here speaking of, how we getting out gotta feeling hoofing it with marines on our tail isn't so wise.
Sarukenshi: Oh don't you worry I have one of our new friends taking care of that ah speaking of friends I should check on Layna and Usopp. (Layna do you hear me? Usopp as well, whats the dock look like right now?)
Layna: (Just the man I wanted to hear um we might have a problem..)
Usopp: (WE GOT A WARSHIP NEARLY HERE!)
Layna: (Ahem yeah like he said not sure if we should try to intercept it or make a run for it but Zolo, Chopper and Fisresu are busy and I don't think making more trouble with the entire Navy is the best idea unless we want this island to be our own warzone. So whats the plan Saru?)
Sarukenshi: (We hold down the fort till our get away arrives I have two feelings about this.)
Layna: (Two good ones I hope?)
Sarukenshi: (Well one is good the other is just interesting, feels like something familiar is on its way.)
*Meanwhile a few yards away on said Warship a Marine captain is seen at the helm looking to the dock*
Captain Otoru: Hmm something feels amiss, this requires some reflecting to make the most efficient course of action I will not fail this mission.
*The situation reaches its apex next chapter!*
