Thechaosmaster: What's up, everybody? I'm so sorry about not updating this story, I would've updated sooner but, well, some things happened.

Kurivolt: Yeah, as in, this guy lost the whole chapter, and literally the whole story that was on the writing app he had!

Thechaosmaster: Yeah, turns out, that the writers note app I was using, kind of sucks, but don't worry, I've gotten it taken care of, and by the way, for those who thought that the OC is kind of OP, with him knowing the future, I've pointed out the weaknesses I have, so don't worry, and he even has a few fears, well, read and enjoy, this took me three days too write, but don't worry, I'll try to get the next one out sooner, no promises, just a little bit more trying. See you at the bottom. Kurivolt, if you please?

Kurivolt: Sure thing, Chaos! Thechaosmaster does not own Digimon, or those connected to Digimon, they rightly belong to some lucky rich guy in Japan, he also doesn't own me, I rightfully belong to Konami, enjoy the chapter!

Thechaosmaster: Well, this chapter took way too long to update, but, honestly, I had no reason for being late, mostly me, being lazy. -_- But, while updating this chapter, I decided to do something differently, because Digimon is se in Japan, I started using the honorifics like Tōsan, Niisan, Neesan, and what not, but not using it too much, just to 'test the waters' so to speak. But, let me know, should I keep it as is, or should I start using honorifics for now on? And, tell when I should have someone call someone -san, -kun, -chan, etc, because, if none of you have realized it, but I am American, and while I have read many fanfics, mostly Naruto, that use the -Chan and -Kun, honorifics, I have no idea when to use them. So, just some explination would be nice, if you want to see more of the traditional Japanese speach. Reason being, I want to slowly ease myself into writing the series in a more traditional Japanese wriing formate, to the point where, by season two, I am using it perfectly.

Chapter 3: The Howl Of Garurumon

Quote of the chapter: "I'll save you, Jeri, if it's the last thing I freakin' do!" Belezemon Blast Mode Shadow Fist Of The Beast King!

It has been a few hours since the battle between Greymon-San and Shellmon-Baka, or, I presumed that it has been hours. Time here in the Digital World is a tricky thing to calculate. Anyways, we have practically searched this whole island, or at least twenty-five percent of it, that is. But we still haven't found anything that could explain where we are, well I should say, the others where they are, but not me.

I knew where we were, but I am still unsure as to exactly how and why I am here, even after some ten odd years of living my new life as Kamiya 'Lukas' Kouki, I still don't know the reason as to why I'm even here. What is my purpose of being here? Was it just a fluke that I ended up here, with these guys?

I mentally sighed, and shook my head and thought, 'No, if that were true then, I wouldn't have gotten my D-Ark, and Dorumon-San would never had been here. Maybe the universe decided that it wants to play games with me.'

I shook my head and got rid of those, as Nara Shikamaru, would call troublesome thoughts and I gripped my locket tightly, hoping that whatever happens, I will always be able to protect my friends and family. Then I thought with ferocious determination, 'No matter what, I'll protect these guys, no matter the cost!'

I looked over to where Tai-Nii was standing, right at the edge of the cliff. Matt-San was standing next to me on my right, I looked at him and began to realize something, I am currently trapped in a digital world, with currently no way back, and time at home is quite literally standing still and hasn't changed even a millisecond since we got into this world.

And I knew almost everything that could possibly happen to these guys. And I thought, 'I could change any one thing, and it literally cause a massive butterfly effect. Man, it would be easier understanding this if I knew just what it was that I was in the middle of, some kind of time travel? Another dimension where this actually happened?'

I kind of chuckled at that thought, then, as I took out my notebook and began writing down the current events, something that just helps me make sense of things. Then, after I wrote the part of us leaving the beach, I put my pen away and thought, 'It could even be my version of heaven, where I have to accomplish a spectacular feat, or learn to let go of my past to completely pass over.'

I lightly chuckled and, while shaking my head and thought, 'Whatever this might be, I will be the guardian for these guys, in my world, they were just characters of fiction, used to entertain young kids, but here, they're flesh and blood, real as I am, just like the Digimon. And I swear, no one will get hurt!'

I then looked towards Tai, who appeared to be in as in deep thought that I was in at the moment, then I heard him call out, "Yo, Agumon-San!"

Agumon walked up to his partner and asked, "What's up, Tai-San?"

Tai-Nii looked to the small orange dino and said, "I like it when you're Greymon-San. No offense, but why don't you just stay that way?"

Agumon looked back to the sea and sadly said, "I can't."

Tai folded his arms in frustration. "Hm." Came his response, feeling a bit aggravated. Sometimes, Tai-Nii acts just like a little kid, which, seeing how he's only twelve, makes sense.

Agumon then quickly looked up Tai-Nii and said, "But even superheroes need a rest."

This caused my Goggle-Headed Nii-San to lose his footing and almost fall and he yelled, "Huh. Eee-yaa!"

Agumon quickly grabbed onto Tai-Nii's shirt and brought him back onto the ledge while me and the others shared a quick laugh at Tai-Nii's little slip up, and for a second, it seemed like we were just a couple of normal kids, back at home, not trapped in this digital plane, even though no one really knows where we are, besides me, and every single Digimon around.

But, I still don't know if this is some kind of time travel, alternate universe, or if I have actually got sucked up inside the real TV show, I shook my head and thought, 'Nii-San was right, I should really stop watching those Syfy shows. In fact, I shouldn't have watched all of those horror and science fiction shows from my original timeline either.'

I lightly chuckled at that ideas, then I thought, 'Oh, well, to late to it regret that now. Well, whatever crazy situation I'm living in, I know one things for certain, the butterfly effect is already in effect, the timeline has already changed, just be me being born. So it could mean that anything could have changed, Devimon-Baka might actually win this battle, or Myotismon-Teme might actually come back stronger then before, or even worse, the Dark Masters might destroy us all!'

Then I started writing again and thought, 'But none of that really matters right now, as of now, I should only focus on what happens next. And just take this day by day, and just live in the moment.'

I shook my head once again and thought, 'I should really stop thinking like that, each one of these guys, the original DigiDestined have taught me a valuable lesson when I watched them on the show, Tai-Nii has shown me how to always be brave in tough times.' I thought as I looked towards my Nii-San.

'Matt-San has shown me just how far friendship can take you.' I thought as I looked towards the Ishida/Takaishi siblings.

'Izzy-San has always proven to me that you don't need to be the strongest member of the team to be important, you could be the geeky teen that everyone avoids, or the nerd that everyone pokes fun of, but that just shows that you're smarter then they are.' I thought as I looked towards Izzy-San, who was typing on his computer, like always.

'Joe-San, as wacky as the guy can be, taught me that you will always find someone who you can rely on, same with the others.' I looked towards Joe-San, who looked calm, but because I knew him, I knew that he was having a private mental breakdown.

My current thoughts were then cut short by a loud roar, then all of us turned to where the source of the roar came from and saw a large rhinoceros like creature with black colored armor, red bands wrapped around the back spines, crash through rock wall.

We all heard Izzy-San ask, "Who's that Digimon?" Hearing that question, almost made me want to do a Pokémon quote, but decided against it.

Tentomon-San calmly stated, "It's a Monochromon. But don't worry about him—he's a laid back Digimon. Although, it is wise to be a bit cautious with a Monochromon. They do tend to get a bit miffed when they're hungry."

Tai then took a few steps back and said, "Then he must be starving, cause he looks really mad!"

Then a frightened Mimi said, "And I think he wants to eat us!"

Then we all heard another roar coming from behind us, we all turned around and saw another Monochromon, then Matt-San said, "There're two of them! We're caught between a rock and two sets of teeth!"

I looked back and forth, keeping an eye on the Monochromon and then I turned to the nearby stone wall and said, "Let's get out of the line of fire!"

Everyone nodded in agreement and we all headed for behind the stone wall. We all watched as the two Monochromon locked horns and tried to push the other back, Tai, who was looking over the stone wall that he was hiding behind the wall, then said, "Something must have set those Monochromon off."

"Un, jōdanjani. What was your first clue, Izzy-San?" I asked our resident genius.

Tentomon then calmly said, "They're fighting over territory." As if that one statement answered everything, which, in this instance, it did.

"Yeah?" I asked while breathing heavily, trying to keep myself from passing out.

Palmon glared at the Monochromon then she said, "They can just have it then!" Then Palmon turned around and started running.

Mimi-San then turned around and said, "Hey! Don't leave without me!" Then she ran after her partner.

Tai-Nii then gave the Monochromon one last look and said, "They definitely don't need us hanging around!"

I nodded and then turned towards Dorumon and said, "That's for sure. C'mon, Dorumon-San, let's get outta here!"

Dorumon nodded then we all ran farther away from the fighting Monochromon as all of us ran for safety. Then TK tripped and he cried out as he fell to the ground, but was helped up by Matt, who said, "Takeru! Are you okay?"

Then I turned back and yelled, "Matt-San! TK-San! You guys all right?" I was slightly worried about the two brothers safety.

Matt nodded and helped TK, then he turned to me and said, "Yeah, TK just tripped is all!"

Tai then turned his head and yelled, "Better hurry up you guys!"

TK then stood up and said, "Kay, we're coming!" Leaving Matt-San behind, slightly confused before he, himself, continued running.

I looked back from where we left the two Monochromon, still locked in battle, tumbled over the edge of the cliff and splashed into the sea. After running for a while, we started walking through a forest with street signs everywhere.

After a while, Mimi started complaining, "I don't walk this much unless I'm at a mall. And as you can see, we're nowhere near one!" Then she walked to a tree and rested her head against it.

Me and the others started walking past her and Tai said, "Mimi-San, stop whining."

Mimi then leaned against a tree, then she cried out, "No, my feet hurt!"

Agumon then walked up to Mimi and suggested, "Maybe if you'd take off your boots and socks, you'd feel better, Mimi-San. It's much more practical, I think."

Mimi turned to look at Agumon in disgust, possibly at the thought of walking barefoot and stated, "I'm not walking and dirtying my bare feet!"

Palmon cheerfully walked up to the two and said with cheer, "I love the feel of dirt under my feet! Especially between my toes."

Mimi blanched and said, "Gross!" Causing Palmon to droop down.

I chuckled then walked to where Izzy and Sora were and Izzy said, "It appears that we may be losing our light source."

Sora then folded her arms and said, "What a weird sunset." Truth be told, it was weird, it seemed like the sky was alive, with colors of red, blue, green, and all in all, it looked like a sunset from another planet, which, I guess, it is.

Izzy nodded and said, "This whole island is weird. And who knows what will come out at night."

I folded my arms and shivered, feeling a cold chill run down my spine and said, "I really don't want to think about that at the moment. Especially seeing how we have no way of knowing just where on Earth we are. That is if we're still on Earth."

Izzy looked at me and asked, "What makes you so sure we're not on Earth, Luke-San?"

I looked at the DigiDestined of Knowledge and shrugged, then said, "I don't know, just a feeling, is all."

Then Tentomon looked up in, well, I can't really say that it was surprise because his face never really showed any kind of emotion, then said, "Wait, I detect water! Stay here while I check it out."

Tentomon flew on top of a tree to get a better view and said, "Yes, as usual, I'm right. It's a lake with fresh, clean water, and a variety of tasty fish. It's a perfect campsite!"

Mimi then optimistically said, "Maybe I can finally soak my poor, achy feet."

Gomamon cheered and started running towards where Tentomon had said water was while saying, "Yay, we get to swim!"

He started to run toward the shore, but he crashed into the ground when Joe grabbed him by his tail and said in a panicked voice, "Gomamon-San! You'd better wait and make sure it's safe first!"

Matt turned around and looked at the rest of us and said, "That's why I think we should keep walking, and stop all the complaining."

I sighed, already feeling the exhaustion from the past several hours catching up to me and said, "Well, I say we rest up here for the night anyways, Matt-San. In case you haven't noticed but, all of us are tired, I mean, look at your brother, I'm not being mean here or picking on him, but, right now, I'm more concerned with him being well rested and not exhausted." I knew I had to talk carefully about TK-San, seeing how I know Matt-San is very protective over his Otouto.

Then I threw up my arms in defense and said, "And hey, I'm pretty exhausted right now, but the only reason why I'm still standing is because I want to make sure that my friends are in good condition, and are resting as well before I take it easy."

Matt looked at me with a detective glance and asked, "Shouldn't you be worried about yourself and your ani, before start worrying about the others, Luke-San?"

I shook my head and told him, "True, I should worry about myself and Tai-Nii, but you should know this, you have to think about the group as a whole, besides, what do you think will happen tomorrow if TK-San, or any one of us doesn't get any sleep tonight, Matt-San?" I bring this up because I am worrying about these kids, my friends, my team. And I would do anything for them.

I then looked down towards TK-San, who was holding onto Patamon-San, I then looked up to Matt-San and said, "I'm just saying that rest and relaxation is a far better option then just walking in a random direction until we drop, we should rest here for the night, then tomorrow, we'll continue searching for any signs of civilization."

Then I rubbed my Sunglasses and said, "Besides, what if we get attacked by another Digimon like Kuwagamon-Baka, or even a rampaging Monochromon, and we're all tired, Matt-San, something could happen, and, well, you get the point."

I left the threat of the danger in the air, strictly to let the kids imagination run wild. Mean, yes, very, but sometimes, to do some good, you have to introduce others into fear. 'I don't like doing it, but if it means keeping the kids safe, and making sure everyone gets some well needed rest, I'll make sure these kids remember fear.'

I thought to myself, but I also silently promised that I wouldn't go too far in putting fear in them, just a small raindrop sized piece of fear, and that is all. "Besides, safety should be our number one objective. Everything else can come second."

Tai-Nii nodded, he knew how I was when it came to peoples safety. I am always overprotective over my friends and family, and Tai-Nii knows that, then he looked over to Matt-San and said, "Otouto's right, besides, everybody's hungry. We have to find some food!"

Joe-San then looked at all of us and in a voice that seemed calm, but was probably him being worried or frightened, and said, "Those are some good plans. I like those plans a lot."

After deciding to set up camp, me and the others gathered into a circle along the shore.

Then Biyomon-San looked around at the clearing we were in and said, "It should be safe to rest here tonight."

I sighed in relief and leaned against a nearby tree and said, "That's good to hear." I was starting to lose feeling in my legs anyways.

Sora-San nodded in agreement and said, "Yeah, I love camping outside."

Mimi-San then then looked down and in a voice filled disgust, or quite possibly fear, "If I won't walk in dirt, what makes you think I'll sleep in it?"

I shook my head and thought, 'And I thought Joe-San complained about everything.' While I was annoyed at Mimi-San's annoyingly depressed voice, I knew that she will eventually become a great DigiDestined, sure, she will eventually become a great person, but she will always be a bit of a scatterbrain, but that's what makes Mimi-San, Mimi-San.

Tai then folded his arms and in a voice that I could tell was annoyed, he asked, "Mimi-San, do you see a hotel here?"

Then Mimi looked behind Tai and I saw that her eyes widened and then she gasped in surprise and we all turned to where Mimi-San was looking at, and what did we see?

Why, a trolley car sitting on a small island connected by a single land bridge, headlights flaring. Then I blinked a few times and then, I rubbed my eyes, just to make sure I wasn't seeing things. But nope, the trolley was still there, then I thought, 'Strange, I could have sworn that wasn't there before.' The thought was kind of like, 'Oh, okay, that's different.' Kind of thinking.

Tai-Nii, blinked a few times in confusion, then he asked, "What's that?"

TK-San cheered in happiness and said, "It looks like a trolley car."

Then Izzy-San, being the scientific kid that he was, he said, "That's odd. The lights just came on."

Then Sora-San shrugged and suggested, "Well, maybe there are some real people in there."

Tai-Nii then started running towards the trolley with Agumon-San close behind him and he said, "Let's check it out!"

Then the rest of us ran towards the vehicle and Mimi-San said, "Maybe it can take us back home…In air-conditioned comfort!" Mimi-San then ran ahead of the group, and we chased after her.

I lightly chuckled and thought, 'Who knew that Mimi-San was right all along, but that won't be for a very, very long time now.'

My lovable Nii-San tried to stop Mimi-San from running up to the trolley without a plan, then yelled, "Mimi-San, wait up!

We reached the trolley but when we got inside, there was nobody inside, 'Strange.' I thought. 'There's no one here. A trolley being in the middle of nowhere, if not for the fact that I knew the truth about the Digital World, I would think that this was very strange.'

Tai looked around, then yelled, "Bummer, it's empty!" Obviously, Tai-Nii was disappointed that no human was in the trolley car.

"Totally empty." Sora-San said, echoing what Tai-Nii had just said.

Izzy-San, who was inspecting the floor stated, "No trolley car's this clean."

I looked around and noticed how spotless the place was, nodded and said, "Yeah, it almost looks like it's brand new."

Mimi-San then took a seat and said, "Oh goodie, these cushions are comfy!" Being completely oblivious to the strangeness of the trolley being in the middle of nowhere.

Mimi's obviousness statement made me roll my eyes and I thought, 'Anata wa watashi o karakatte iru hitsuyō ga arimasu. Mimi-San, you can't bee this naïve, can you?'

Tai-Nii then seemed to have suddenly realized something was wrong and he folded his arms said, "Something's wrong. Remember those weird phone booths we saw on the beach? Something just as freaky could happen here."

Joe-San, who was at the controls of the cable car, joked, "Yeah, like this suddenly moving all by itself."

Then I had a weird thought, 'Wait! Did… did Joe-San, make a joke? That's it, this goes to prove it, me being here has changed things too much! We're doomed, doooooomed!' I grabbed my hair and dramatically started pulling my hair.

My brother, who seemed to be rattling his brain against Joe-San's joke, folded up his arms and said, "Possibly, but then again, maybe that's how we're going to get home."

Sora, who was now sitting on a seat next to Ten then said, "So we have nothing to lose by staying here."

I nodded, completely over my little episode, and said, "Sure seems that way."

Tentomon-San then dropped down, looking weak as he wearily said, "Ohhh, can we eat now?"

Tai-Nii then let his arms drop and softly said, "That's right, I forgot." Causing me to lightly laugh at his forgetfulness.

Then I stood up and said, "Okay, then, I'd say, it's time for us to split up and gather our supplies." Everyone nodded, seeing that we can get more done if we split up.

Later on, all of us kids decided to split up to rest for a while before we went to gather supplies for the night, I watched as Gomamon was swimming in the water where Izzy was fishing, right next to TK, who was watching him, fish with a makeshift fishing pole.

I looked over to the small group as Izzy said, "Gomamon-San, stop playing in the water! I can't catch any fish if you keep on warning them away!"

I chuckled at this then I went back to doing what me and Dorumon-San were doing, gathering firewood, I was currently carrying an arms full of twigs and sticks, and Dorumon-San was carrying a few rocks to prevent the grass from catching fire, and ruining our little 'camping trip.'

I looked to Dorumon-San and said, "I think we've got enough sticks, twigs and rocks, don't ya think, Dorumon-San?"

The cyan fur colored dragon looked at me and said, "I think so, Luke-San, let's head back."

I nodded then we proceeded to head back to where the cable car was, and I thought, 'I wonder, will me and Dorumon-San be able to handle whatever has changed in this timeline that the others can't? Or, will it all end in disaster?'

Dorumon-San must have sensed my inner turmoil, because he looked up towards me and asked, "You okay, Luke-San?"

I turned around and asked, "Huh? Uh, yeah, I'm fine. Why?" I was kind of caught off guard, not really expecting my silence to be interrupted.

The werewolf/dragon gave me a thoughtful look and said, "Because, you looked like you were having trouble, is everything all right?"

I looked at him for a while, then I sighed and said, "Yeah, just thinking, buddy."

Dorumon gave me a particular look, one that seemed to tell me that he was already aware of what I was thinking, then he asked me, "About what?"

I shook my head and said, "Nothing to worry about, pal."

Dorumon looked at me for a while, and I could tell that not even he was fooled by my lie, but was probably respecting my privacy, so he gave me a simple smile as he nodded and said, "Alright then." Dorumon smiled a fang filled smile at me then cheerfully said, "Let's go Luke-San! Let's hurry up and bring this stuff back to the others. Then we can have something to eat!" Dorumon then ran ahead of me.

I smiled at how quickly Dorumon's personality had changed, then I ran after my partner. I was thankful that Dorumon-San didn't press more on my thoughts, while I wouldn't mind talking to Dorumon-San about my inner thoughts, I didn't want to take any chances with Nii-San or anyone else hearing us.

We were walking down the path when I heard Tentomon say, "Yum yum. You can't get too many berries down the hatch."

Then we quickly ran into Sora and Joe, and I said, "Hey, guys! I see you collected some logs as well."

Sora nodded looked down at the items in our hands and said, "Yep, and I see you and Dorumon-San did the same thing."

I smiled lightly at the DigiDestined of Love and said, "Uh-huh, and we even collected a few rocks to place around the logs to prevent any, unneeded accidents."

Joe nodded, apparently liking my logic, then he said, "Good thinking, Luke-San. C'mon, let's head back."

Me and Dorumon-San nodded then walked back to the camp, nothing really exciting happened, but we did watch what some of the other Digimon were doing, Patamon-San was sitting on Agumon-San's head and took a deep breath, then fired a Boom Bubble at a bunch of bananas, knocking them off the tree and onto Gabumon-San's head, where they are speared by his horn.

Gabumon-San groans and holds his head. Biyomon-San laughed and said, "Oh boy, you'd better watch that killer breath of yours, Patamon-San." Then she flew off to pull a fruit down from a tree.

Meanwhile, Mimi-San was looking at mushrooms with Palmon-San. Everyone was working together, helping on another, it brought a smile to my face and I said, "This is what I like to see, everyone working together to get the job done."

Joe-San agreed while looking at the DigiDestined around and said, "Yeah, it certainly is quicker with everyone working together."

Sora-San looked like she was about to say something when Palmon-San suddenly said, "Those are bad mushrooms, you shouldn't pick them! They'll make you sick!" We all looked over to see that Mimi-San halted from grabbing a giant mushroom.

Mimi-San gasped and backed away, then she looked towards Palmon-San, and with a smile on her face, she said, "I'd be a big mess without you, Palmon-San, you're the best!"

Palmon-San seemed to be pretty happy and struck a pose, then said, "Ahh, stop!" But I could see that Palmon-San was blushing like crazy.

I laughed lightly at these two and said, "Those two really make a great pair, Mimi-San seems to be helpless when she's not in a mall."

Sora-San laughed lightly and said, "Yeah, but with Palmon-San, she should be fine."

I nodded and we continued to the camp sight. Several minutes later, me, Sora-San, Nii-San, and Matt-San were all standing around a small circle of rocks and kindling, but with no fire.

Matt-San was standing over the soon to be lit fire, then he said, "We're all set to cook dinner. Now all we need is the grub!"

Sora-San seemed okay with it, but said, "Great, but how are we supposed to light the fire?"

Then Agumon ran up and said, "Like this!" Agumon blew a small ball of flame, which brought the campfire to life.

Tai, being impressed, looked down to his partner, with a smile on his lips, and said, "Wow, Agumon-San, you're the man!"

Agumon seemed to be happy with that and answered with a cheerful, "Awww…" And it seemed like he was blushing up a storm.

Just then Izzy and TK run up, carrying fish on a couple of branches, and TK said, "Hey, lookit!"

Izzy then held up all the fish that they caught and said, "We caught a bunch of fish!"

I gave both boys a thumbs up and said, "Great job, you guys!"

Tai smiled at the future DigiDestineds of Knowledge and Hope, then he said, "Awesome, Izzy-San, let's eat 'em!"

Matt took the fish from TK and said, "Thanks, squirt." Then he walked to the fire, where Tai was gingerly holding a fish by its tail above the flames.

Tai then held his fish over the fire, by holding the tail, and not using a stick, and he said, "This is where I wish we had a microwave."

I chuckled at my bro, he was acting like a true Goggle-Head. Then I thought, 'Man, I can't seem to stop calling Tai-Nii a Goggle-Head. And that term wasn't used until Tamers, when Rika-San called Takato-San a Goggle-Head, but I know that in reality, being a Goggle-Head, is a great honor, well, usually, in this universe anyways.

It's a mark of leadership, but it also means that they will sometimes do something completely foolish, and then they will get into trouble. I guess that's why I stopped wearing my goggles, I felt that I wasn't worthy of being a 'Goggle-Head' but the truth, I felt that if too many Goggle-Head's existed at the same time, the universe would probably explode.' I had to hold back a laugh at my own thoughts.

Then, after shaking my head free from those meddling thoughts, I heard Matt-San say, "Me too, because you're about to lose your fingers. Why don't you use a stick?"

I looked up and saw that Matt-San had grabbed Tai-Nii and gently pulled him away from the roaring flames, Tai looked up to Matt-San and asked, "How did you come up with that, Matt-San?"

As I watched the two talk, I placed my fish on a stick and placed it over the fire, right next to Matt-San's and watch it cook.

Then I head Matt-San say, "Because I'm the man!" I looked over, and saw that Matt-San was standing proudly, making a pose like he was some kind of statue of a hero.

I laughed at the two, then I continued to watch my food cook. It wasn't long until the fish was done cooking, and shortly after, the gang was gathered around the campfire, and we were all enjoying our dinner of cooked fish and fresh fruit.

Then Tentomon-San, who was eating a large fruit with Biyomon-San said, "This is surprisingly good!"

Izzy, with a mouthful of fish said, "Delicious!"

TK looked down at his fish and said, "Onii-Chan, Kāsan only lets me eat fish sticks."

Matt-San turned to his little bro and said, "I won't tell." I could see that Matt-San is trying to give Takeru-San permission to eat with his hands, but, he was being too, demanding, about it.

TK-San looked down at his fish on a stick and said, "I never eat with my fingers."

Matt, who seemed to be getting frustrated said, "TK-San, it's alright!"

Tai nodded, wanting to help out as well, turned to the little guy and said, "Yeah, you're hanging with the big boys now."

I smiled at TK and gently placed my hand on his shoulder and said, "Don't worry TK-San, just eat it and enjoy, I mean, I've never eaten fish this way before, but I'm eating it, so that means you can as well, little guy."

TK smiled, apparently him knowing that I haven't eaten fish with my hands made him feel comfortable to eat with his fingers as well, and said, "Kay." Then he began eating the fried fish.

As TK continued eating, me and Tai walked over to where Sora was collecting water by the shore. Then Tai said, "Hey, Sora-San."

Sora looked up at us both and asked, "What?"

Tai looked down at calm and quite waves and quietly asked, "Matt-San doesn't treat TK-San like a brother, only like he's a bother. Is it just me, or have you noticed that too?"

Sora nodded, and looked down at the water and said, "Yeah."

Tai then then looked up at the stars, with a curious look on his face as he said, "I wonder."

Sora quickly looked up at Tai and said, "Matt-San's still learning to be a big brother."

Tai-Nii looked down and folded his arms and said, "Maybe."

I looked at Tai and gave him a soft smile as I said, "She could be right, Tai-Nii." Tai looked over to me and I said, "Matt-San probably doesn't have the kind experience you and me have as siblings." That seemed to make Tai-Nii think really hard about Matt-San and TK-San.

Then I sat down on the grass and looked up at the stars and said, "And it could be that he's just worried about TK-San, besides if Kari-Imouto was here, I know that I would be worried about her, wouldn't you?" For a short time, I could have sworn that I saw Kari-Imouto's face in the stars, which caused me to lightly smile.

'Okashī, Hikari-Imouto's Crest of Light is represented by a star, and now, I'm seeing her face in the stars.' I thought to myself, finding the irony of it all hilarious.

Tai-Nii didn't answer me, but he gave me a knowing look that showed that he was thinking the same thing that I was, Matt-San was just trying to be a good older brother, sure he seemed to be acting like TK's a burden, but he is just being protective of him, and he doesn't really know how to treat him.

Then we all heard someone walking towards us, we turned and saw Joe-San approaching us with his eyes looking at the sky, and a thoughtful hum. Sora-San then asked, "Hey Joe-San, what'cha looking at?"

Joe-San put his hand to his chin, giving him a look like he was in deep thought, then he said, "I'm trying to figure out which direction we've been going, but the stars seem to be all mixed up. I haven't been able to find the North Star anywhere."

Sora-San nodded in agreement as she looked up at the stars and said, "I know. I don't recognize any of these constellations."

Tai-Nii then looked up at the stars, then he looked to Sora-San and said, "You're forgetting your astronomy. If you can't see the North Star, then it must be on the other side of the world."

Sora-San looked over to Tai in slight surprise and she asked, "Do you guys think we could be in the Southern Hemisphere?"

I only flinched mentally as I thought, 'Nope, not the South, I don't think you guys would… oooohhhh, wait, right. They don't know about the different quadrants. But still, I don't think they would want to be there. No way.'

Joe-San nodded, obviously agreeing with Sora-San's statement, or at least, he is considering it to be a possibility and said, "Yes, I guess it's possible. That is, if we're still on Earth."

Tai-Nii looked over to Joe-San in wonder, then he asked, "What is that supposed to mean?"

I actually had to nod in agreement to Joe-San's explanation, knowing that Joe-San could possibly figure out the truth before the others. Then I looked at the three kids and said, "I think, I know what Joe-San is trying to say, ever since I woke up here and met Dorumon-San, I have felt like something is…off about this place, but I don't know what."

I had to ignore the knot in my stomach which happened whenever I lied to m friends and family. It was a feeling I had grown to ignore after a while. Then I looked at Nii-San and said, "I mean if you look at some of the evidence, we could still be on Earth, from the telephone booths, these weird road signs, that trolley, even those power lines, all of those point to proof that humans were once living here, so we could be on Earth, but if that is true then, what's up with all of these Digimon that keep popping up everywhere?" I don't even know why I had said that, but I decided to continue anyway.

"Last time I checked, we didn't have them on Earth, so this probably isn't Earth, yet at the same time, it has all the same quality's that Earth has. So if we are on Earth, the only question is where are we. It's possible that we've ended up in some sort of Bermuda Triangle like place where all this crazy stuff is possible." Possibly, the reason why I was still talking, was because my love for science fiction, was so great, that I just couldn't help myself. That, or the power of the nerd is too strong to ignore.

The three older kids looked at me in surprise, probably wasn't expecting me to talk with such a brainiac tone in my voice, then Tai-Nii, who looked like he was about to have a mental reset, looked at me and said, "I think you've been spending too much time around Izzy-San, Otouto. You're starting to sound like him, with all of his crazy alien conspiracy theory's."

I glared at him then, deciding that I was way to tired to argue with him, stood up and walked away with a huff, then I started thinking, 'Why did I say all of that? I could have told them too much just then, and if I did, how was I supposed to explain how I knew about this?'

Man, I really have a bad case of foot in mouth syndrome. Then I sighed and took out my 'Adventure Log Book' as I have decided to call it, and began writing.

While I was doing so, I thought, 'Maybe I should tell them about who I really am, or should I say, who I once was. But I don't know when I should tell them, maybe once we get to Server, and we meet with Gennai-Sama, then I could ask him what I should do.'

I looked down at my notebook, currently filled with events from the past couple of hours, but not containing any, inner thoughts. 'Cause if there is anyone, that's not Dorumon, who should know the truth, it's Gennai-Sama, after all, if I remember correctly, it was him who gave us our partners in the first place. So he should have the answers that I seek.'

I looked over to the others, from TK-San, to Izzy-San, everyone getting ready for bed, and I took notice of Patamon-San, sitting nearby, who yawned and curled up beside TK-San, who said, "Look, Patamon-San's tired."

Then I noticed that one by one, the Digimon were starting to fall asleep, then I heard Tai-Nii yawn, then he said, "I'm getting really tired myself."

I nodded and with a loud yawn, and a stretch of my arms, I sleepily said, "Yeah, same here. How 'bout you Dorumon-San, you tired yet?"

Dorumon-San shook his head, trying, and failing, at keeping himself awake, and said, "Not really, I'm feeling fine. Really, Luke-San. I can stay up for a few more hours. Yaaaaaawn."

I chuckled at the way Dorumon-San reminded me of myself when I was younger, then I lightly patted him on his back and said, "Could've fooled me." I waved my hand and motioned him to the trolley and said, "C'mon, time for bed."

Then Izzy-San walked between all of us and spoke up, "Wait a second, I think we should take turns standing guard."

Joe-San nodded, liking the idea of keeping watch over night and asked, "Alright. Who wants to go first?"

Tai-San then looked down and asked, "How about if each of us stands guard for about an hour."

Matt-San stood up and, possibly being over protective over his younger brother, then said, "Not TK-San."

TK-San then whined, obviously disappointed at not being able to do any big kid stuff, whined and said, "Aww, come on, me too, Matt-Nii-San."

Matt then said with a voice of concern, "No, you're too young and you need your rest!"

Then I stood over Takeru-San and placed a gentle hand on his shoulder, then I looked up at Matt-San and said, "I'll take TK-San's place for the night watch."

Then Tai-Nii looked at me in concern and said in his 'older brother' tone of voice, "Hold on, Otouto, you should probably go to sleep yourself."

I looked at Tai-Nii with folded arms, and a glare in my eyes and said, "Nii-San, I'm not a little kid anymore, besides, whose the one who gets you and Kari-Imouto ready for school in the morning when Okāsan's or Otōsan aren't home, huh, Tai-Nii?"

Tai-Nii looked like he was about to argue, when he stopped, then he said, "Oh, okay, fine you win, Luke-Chan."

I smirked at this, but I had a twitch in my left eye, showing my annoyance to that wretched nickname, then I thought, 'Tai-Nii seven, Luke eight, Kari-Chan, fourteen.' Tai doesn't know it, but I have been keeping track of how many arguments we win. And now I am once again in the lead, or I would be, if Kari didn't win against the both of us.

'Heh, looks like I'm in the lead yet again, Kari's still first, as usual. No one can resist that dreaded eight year old forbidden 'Jutsu' Puppy-Dog-No-Jutsu***. And who knew that being mentally older then Tai would be useful. Hmm, let's see here, before I died I was about nineteen years old, then I ended up having to start all over again, so that would mean that mentally, I'm twenty nine years old! Wow! Talk about being mature beyond my years.' While some might not find it funny, I do. But, that's for another time.

I took out my notebook, the one where I was writing the story I told back on the bus, once again I called it 'A Brave New Journey' I decided that I should continue 'writing' the story. 'Unfortunately, without Pokémon being up to Alola yet, or even being a thought yet, it'll be hard to do a lot of what I had originally written, oh well.'

That was when I had a sudden thought about my mental age, 'Heh, it's funny. Before all this happened, I was nineteen years old physically, but thirteen mentally, now seeing how I don't think I'm the same, well besides the obvious, now the things reversed! I'm younger physically, but older mentally, I'm probably acting more mature then Joe-San is.'

While I was rambling to myself, I heard Mimi-San say, "I'm getting cold. I need a warm blanket to help me sleep."

Then I watched as Tai-Nii-San walked up to Gabumon and while twitching his fingers, and in a spooky voice, he said, "Hey Gabumon-San! Watch it, Mimi-San may sneak up on you and steal your fur! So if you feel a little tug, it might be her about to cut your tail off!"

Gabumon-San, feeling a little bit scared, he even looked like a dog backed into a corner, then he fearfully said, "Stop, Tai-San! That's not funny!"

We all had to watch as Tai-Nii-Baka started to pull on Gabumon-San's fur coat, causing Gabumon to run away. Then Matt-San pushed Tai-San backwards, then he said, "Tai-Baka, quit it!" It was obvious that Matt-San was upset that Nii-San was picking on his partner, if him calling him an idiot wasn't clear enough, and decided to do something about it.

I decided to put my notebook away and watched as Tai-Nii then asked angrily, "Ooh! What are you bugging about?"

A frustrated Matt tightened his hands into fists and said, "Because, Gabumon-San told you to stop! So knock it off!"

Tai-Nii then pushed Matt-San back and said, "Hey, you can't tell me what to do!"

Then both Tai-Nii and Matt-San started to grab each other by their shirt collars, looking as if they're about to fight.

Then both me and TK-San stood by and watched as our beloved Nii-Sans act like little children, then they started wrestling, rolling around on the ground, forcing many of the others to turn away, seeing this, I got annoyed, and TK-San became worried, and we both yelled, "You guys, stop fighting!"

The two boys looked up from the ground towards us, then they stood up, dusting themselves off, and huffed in anger, not at us, but at each other, and turned their backs to each other, arms crossed. Then me and TK-San looked at each other and said, "Nii-Sans."

Me and TK-San lightly chuckled at how us Otoutos are the ones who are keeping our Nii-Sans from fighting. I looked to TK-San and said, "And they call us children."

TK-San covered his mouth as he tried to cover up his laughter, and was failing. Then both me and him began laughing with an arm around each other to support the other.

Joe-San then walked up to the squibbing duo and said, "You'd both make great guards. Who goes first?"

Then Tai-Nii stomped forward with his left fist raised then said, "I will!"

Matt-San, mirroring Nii-San, fist raised and all, then said, "I'm next!"

Me and Takeru-San smiled at this and I thought, 'Well, at least their not throwing punches at each other. That's a good thing. I think.'

Joe-San then smiled and suggested, "How about if Izzy-San takes over after that, Luke-San will take his place and then I finish up the night? I propose that the rest of us trek back to the bus and get some shut-eye."

I nodded, pulling out my notebook and began writing again and said, "Yeah, that sounds like a good idea."

That was when I heard Sora-San speak up from behind me and ask, "Hey, Luke-San, what are you writing over there?"

I looked over my shoulder and saw that Sora was standing behind me, then I looked down at the notebook in my hands and said, "Oh, this? Well, nothing at the moment. Just an adventure log. Using it to keep track of all the crazy junk that has happened to us so far."

Matt whistled, probably because he was surprised or impressed with me, or at least, the idea of keeping track of our adventure then he said, "Hey, not a bad idea, Luke-San. So, I guess that makes you our Chronicler, then, huh?"

I rubbed the back of my head in embarrassment and said, "Yeah, I guess it does. Just don't expect me to start each new entry with 'Captian's Log' cause that is not my style. Hehehe."

This caused everyone to laugh lightly, then we all began to head back to the trolley, everyone was sitting up on the trolley's seats, while our Digimon were laying leaves that were settled on the floor.

Mimi then tossed and turned, then she sat up and looked at us then she complained, "I can't sleep with all of you here!"

Sora sighed and said, "Quit complaining. So it's not perfect. Just be glad we have a place to sleep."

Izzy nodded, getting ready to close his eyes, and said, "That's right, Mimi-San."

Joe waved his hand and said, "Goodnight."

TK then joked, "Don't let the Monochromon bite." Then he closed his eyes.

I rolled my eyes and thought, 'I don't think the others needed a reminder of that, TK-San. Azulongmon-Sama knows I don't, I just hope that things will go is smoothly around here.' I quietly stood up and headed for the exit.

Then I was about to walk off the trolley car and go to the lake, when I heard Matt say, "Gabumon-San?"

Both me and Gabumon looked to Matt and the small blue wolf asked, "Yeah?"

Matt looked over to Gabumon and said, "Go over and lay down with my Otouto."

Gabumon looked at his partner and, in a curious voice, he asked, "Why, Matt-San?"

Matt then turned over and in a aggravated voice, he said, "Because your fur's making me sweat. Now, go!"

Which Gabumon smiled and translated Matt had said to, "Because you want me to keep TK-San warm."

Matt stood up and walked away then said, "Hey, I didn't say that!" But I could see the red on his checks, indicating that he was embarrassed.

Gabumon got off the seat and walked towards TK and said, "You just don't want to admit it."

Matt then threw his hands in the air and said, "Whatever." Then he walked away.

I watched as Gabumon curled up beside TK, putting a furry arm across him. TK opened his eyes slightly and saw Gabumon, then he looked towards his older brother and said, "Thanks, Matt-Nii." Then he closed his eyes again and went back to sleep.

I looked over to Matt, who was startled, then he composed himself and turned away, blushing. I lightly laughed at Matt's embarrassment and thought, 'Hehe, I knew that Matt-San was trying to be a good Nii-San, now if he would just stop trying to act cool all the time, and actually open up to people and show everyone the real him, he just might actually be able to make friends with everyone.'

Then I walked off the trolley, leaving a sleeping Dorumon behind so he can get some rest, then I watched as the lights on the trolley went out, then I walked towards the lake, then I looked up to the sky, and watched the stars for a while, and I thought for the hundredth time, 'I wonder, what EXACTLY is the true reason for me being here? No matter how much I think about it, there's just too many reasons for me being here, and even more reasons for me not being here as well.'

I then took out my notebook and began writing out the days events so far, pretty boring? Possibly. But I think this will be my hobby while I'm here. Then I went back to thinking about my reasoning of being here in DigiWorld. 'There's Devimon-Teme, but he was, or should I say, will be taken care of by Angemon-San pretty easily, while it's true that he used up all his power to do so, but still.'

As I was writing, I had to be sure not to push to hard on the paper, just so I don't ruin the paper, or run out of ink. Then, as I finished up the current events, I put away this notebook, and took out my other one, and thought, 'Then there's Myotismon-Teme, maybe that is the reason, or, it could be to save Wizardmon-San, so, me being here, at the start actually makes a lot more sense.'

I decided to put my notebooks away, and stared at the night sky as I thought, 'Or maybe it was to stop Ken-San from being infected by the dark spores, and become the Digimon Emperor/Kaiser. And if that is true, then me being sent here would make sense, in a way, but why send me to the beginning? And why Dorumon-San? And why a D-Ark? The questions of the how's and why's are endless, with no clear answer. But these cards…'

I took out my Modify Cards and looked at the back of then and looked at the design, it was of a light green shield with a small arrow, almost sword like edge on the bottom, with three more black lines, each making up the same shape inside, each one getting smaller, it also had four bars crisscrossing at the center, with a ring wrapped around them at the edge, and an oval right in the center of them with a dark green coloring.

I couldn't explain it, but I had a strange sense that I've seen this symbol before, and I thought, 'This design, it looks familiar for some reason, but why? I don't think I've seen this in the series before. And in the Tamers season, the Modify Cards are from the card game. So I guess it would make sense to have a different design on these cards, after all, the card game doesn't exist in this universe. So by having them in a different design would make sense, but still, why does this seem so familiar? A green shield. Hmm, maybe it's from my old life, but what?'

I looked up from my cards and I noticed that it had gotten darker out, then I heard someone coming closer and I saw Tai-Nii approaching the water and started splashing his face. 'Possibly trying to keep himself awake right now.' I thought to myself. Then I stood up and I decided to walk up to him.

As Tai-Nii was splashing his face, I heard something else on the shore. I stopped and me and him turned towards the source of the sound and we saw Matt-San looking out over the water.

Tai-Nii took a fighting stance and asked angrily, "Huh? Who's there?" Then we saw Matt-San walking up to the water with a sad look on his face, then Tai-Nii said, "Oh, Matt-San. Don't you think I can handle this?"

Matt looked down sadly, and softly said, "I…couldn't sleep." He was so quite, that I struggled to hear him.

Tai-Nii ran up to him and asked, "Oh? And why not?"

I started walking up to the two when I heard Matt say, "Look, I'm sorry about earlier. I didn't mean to get so mad. It's just being here, and having to watch TK-San…"

I stopped and listened to their conversation, which should be kept between them, but I needed to know that these to older brothers could put their egos aside and work together.

I looked up at my older brother, who had asked, "Do you guys even live in the same house?" His voice was different from before, almost softer, like he wanted to know just what was going through the elder Ishida's head.

Matt shook his head and answered, "Not anymore. While we are brothers, we don't get to see each other much."

My eyes widened and I thought, 'That's right! They may be brothers, I forgot about that! And their parents had split up a while back, and now they don't even see each other as often as they used to!' I looked down at Matt-San, sympathizing with him.

'Poor Matt-San, this was probably one of the only times that the two of were actually be able to see each other. And now you have to worry about Takeru-San's safety. I can respect that, I knew that once Kari-Imouto joins us, I'll could possibly be acting just like you are now.' I placed my fist to my chest, in a show of respect to Matt-San, even if neither he, nor Tai-Nii would ever see it.

Tai-Nii looked off into the lake and said, "But, wait, if you're brothers, then why do you have different last names?"

Matt-San sighed in frustration, but he looked towards Tai-Nii and said, "Our parents got divorced when we were younger, and Kāsan remarried, and had her last name changed, and thus, causing Takeru Ishida, to also get his last name changed, thus, he is now Takeru Takaishi. But I still love him, none-the-less."

Matt-San then looked over in my direction, shocking me, making me think that I had been spotted, but I realized that it wasn't me he was looking at, but the trolley, then Matt-San said, "I just want to protect my Otouto, but…" Matt looked like he wanted to say more, but he turned and took off, running down the shore, then Tai-Nii walked back to Agumon-San.

Then I, seeing that their conversation was over, walked out over to the lake and looked at the water, mesmerized by the reflection of the sky, then I heard something coming from behind me, I quickly turned around and saw that it was Dorumon-San was walking up to me. I said, "Oh, hey Dorumon-San, I thought you were sleeping. What's up?"

Dorumon-San didn't say anything, just continued walking until he was standing right next to me, then he said, "I couldn't sleep, Lukas-San."

I looked at him with worry spread across my face and asked, "Is everything alright, bud?" I watched as he stared at the water intently, and watched as his tail swung back and forth, almost like he was in a trance, but I could see that he, himself was thinking deeply.

When Dorumon-San didn't answer me, I looked at him and asked, "Dorumon-San, what's wrong? Is there something bothering you?"

The dragon shook his head and said, "I don't know, but what I do know is that something feels, off."

I looked at him with a raised eyebrow and asked, "What do you mean by 'off' Dorumon-San?" I was getting a bad feeling, like something bad was about to happen.

The dragon didn't say anything for a while then he said, "It's just that, I feel like something's about to happen, I just don't know what."

I sighed, knowing that Dorumon-San wasn't wrong, I felt like something was about to happen and nodded in agreement. Then I brought my knees to my chest and hugged my knees and said, "Yeah, I know what you mean."

Then I looked down at my D-Ark and thought, 'It's been a lifetime since I've seen the show, but there are some parts that I remember, but I can't, for the life of me, remember every single episode of Digimon Adventures, I mean, I remember Devimon-Baka's false mansion. I barely remember Leomon-San's corruption, but just because I know what the future holds, does that mean that I should just try to change every single thing that happens?'

I shook my head and thought, 'No, I won't do things willy nilly about this. I won't do anything Goggle-Headed, but I will try to make sure that I try to prevent the worst of things from happening, maybe I could prevent Tai-Nii from making SkullGreymon, but that one, was a lesson that he needed to learn. But the destruction of Wizardmon-San, now that is something that I'm going to prevent, but what about the warning he gives later on? Hmm, oh, watashi o fakku!'

I was getting really frustrated at myself, then I thought, 'Kami-Sama, if you are watching, or if you can even hear me, give me the strength needed to figure this mess out.'

I decided to stop thinking about what I could change in the future before I tore my hair out, when both me and Dorumon-San heard a strange sound, we turn to see Matt-San sitting on the ground a little way off playing the blues on a harmonica. Then Gabumon-San walked up to Matt-San.

I heard Gabumon-San cheerfully sigh as he said, "Ah! What a wonderful sound!"

Then me and Dorumon-San started walking back to the camp, then when we got to the fire pit, I heard Tai-Nii say, "Maybe to a Saint Bernard with a horn on its forehead."

Then I lightly chuckled and said, "Nii-San, you should really learn to be respectful to others about their hobbies, y'know?"

I had to hold back a smirk as I watched Tai-Nii jump five feet in the air and turned to me and said, "Kouki-Otouto!? What are you doing here? And what did I tell you about sneaking up on me like that!?"

I snickered, it never got old, I would walk up to Tai-Nii from behind, and he would never notice me, not even if I was standing right behind him, and when he finally did, he would jump right out of his skin, it was really funny.

I sat down right next to Tai-Nii, a smile still on my face, then I said, "Sorry, Nii-San, I couldn't help myself. And besides, me and Dorumon-San, couldn't sleep anyways."

Tai-Nii, after getting his heartbeat down, nodded and quietly said, "Yeah, I know what you mean, Otouto." Then, the four of us sat back and enjoyed the peaceful night, with the soft sound of Matt's harmonica playing in the background.

I took out my notebook and began writing, while also enjoying the sound of Matt's harmonica. 'Reminds me of my old harmonica from my past life. The one that I never learned how to play because I didn't have the patients for it.'

As Tai was poking the fire with a stick, a burning piece of wood falls down and flies up to land a few feet away, landing on a very large red leaf. Surprising me and my Onii-san. Tai shouted out in surprise, "Watch out for the fire sparks!"

I watched as a flaming piece of stick lands on the flat red leaf that was on the beach, which began to move and caused the ground to shake, causing the four of us to try to stand up, but we kept losing our balance.

Tai-Nii, trying to keep himself from falling on his rear, shouted out, "Hey!"

While I was trying to keep my barrings, I yelled, "What's… going… on!?"

Then a massive wave began to form in the sea, and from the wave emerged a huge yellow head of a green sea monster, that reminded me of the Lock Ness Monster. Seeing this thing, made me think, 'Oh, anata wa watashi o karakatte iru hitsuyō ga arimasu! This guy!'

Then the sea monster towered over the beach, growling at me, Dorumon-San, Tai-Nii, Agumon-San, Matt-San and Gabumon-San. While the group inside the trolley car hears it and began to cower in fear.

Then my eyes widened in shock as I yelled, "What in the name of the DigiWorld is that!?"

Dorumon-San glared at the serpent and said, "That's Seadramon!"

Then Seadramon started racing through the water, taking the land with the trolley and the rest of us along for the ride.

Matt-San and Gabumon-San ran towards us and Matt-San yelled out, "The land's moving!"

Agumon-San then then grabbed onto the ground for dear life and said, "Hold tight, we're going for a ride!"

Tai-Nii was on his knees, gripping onto a near by rock, and said, "It's like we're on a monster longboard!"

"Yeah? Well I don't have my swimming trunks on, so can we please get his tail off of this island, please!?" I yelled, while digging my nails into the dirt.

Izzy-San ran up to us and said, "He's pulling us along by his tail. I don't even think he realizes we're here."

Tentomon-San flew up a but and said, "Perhaps not. He's a bit dense. As long as he doesn't see us, we should be safe."

Agumon-San turned to the red beetle and said, "Don't be too sure."

I nodded and looked up at the currently oblivious Seadramon-Baka, and said, "Yeah, I have to say, he seems a bit clueless at the moment, but I hate to say it, but I've got a feeling that we're not going to be that lucky."

Tentomon then turned to us and said, "You guys jinxed us! Now he knows we're here!"

The lot of us said, "What? I didn't do anything!" All at the same time, at any other time, I would have smiled and said jinx, but, Seadramon-Teme was more worrying.

That was when Seadramon-Teme had finally pulled his tail, which was the red patch of ground that the stick landed on, away from the land, launching Tentomon-San into the air. And Izzy-San said, "I guess he does know we're here!" And you could almost hear the fear in his voice when he said that.

Tai-Nii then noticed that the red leaf like thing that was connected to the island was his tail, and he yelled, "Ah! That big red thing was his tail!"

My eyes widened in shock, then I heard Tentomon-San say, "It wasn't my fault!"

Then Seadramon-Baka whipped his tail at the moving island, knocking all of us onto our feet again. Then Seadramon-Baka went back into the ocean, then he charged right at us and Tai subconsciously took a few steps back as he said, "He's coming back and he's not happy!"

Then I rolled my eyes in annoyance as I reached for my D-Ark and Modify Cards, ready to fight, and turned to Tai and sarcastically said, "Thank you, Akirakana Senchō, for pointing that out! Tell us something we don't know."

We watched as Seadramon-Teme swam beneath the island and knocked it with his head, making it shoot back towards the shore.

That was when the others who were still sleeping, ran off of the trolley and Joe-San then yelled, "We're gonna crash into the shore!"

Mimi-San, who was holding onto her giant hat, then yelled, "This is really gonna mess up my hair!"

I turned back to see what Matt-San was doing, and watched as he dived into the ocean and started swimming for the moving island to get his brother and yelled, "Takeru-San!"

I heard Gabumon-San from a distance say, "Matt-San, I'm just letting you know, my fur's gonna get wet, and I'm going to stink!" Then Gabumon-San followed Matt-San into the water.

Suddenly, the land hit some electrical towers that were in the middle of the water, causing it to stop, Tai-Nii then sarcastically said, "Great, he left us right in the middle of the lake."

Izzy-San then looked around and in an uncertain voice, asked, "I don't suppose we could trick him into taking us back…"

I shook my head and glared at the serpent and said, "That seems highly unlikely, Izzy-San, and I do mean highly unlikely. Odds of that happening, by my estimated guess, is one out of three hundred. And that's my lowest estimate."

Then the green sea monster popped back up and Tai-Nii then tightened his fists as he yelled, "Get ready, he's attacking!"

Then everyone was by our sides, and Agumon-San turned to the Digimon present and said, "Come on you guys, let's send him back to the fishies!"

Dorumon-San glared at Seadramon-Teme and said, "No problem!"

Biyomon-San took to the sky, and took aim and yelled, "Spiral Twister!" Launching her signature green spiraling flames at Seadramon-Baka.

And she wasn't the only one, Patamon-San expanded to comically ridiculous sizes, and added in a Boom Bubble, but the attacks barely did anything at all.

Palmon-San then yelled out, "Poison Ivy!" But she couldn't even get a reach on the sea dragon Digimon.

Tentomon-San then flew up to get a better spot for attack, then he yelled, "Super Shocker!"

Agumon-San aimed and took a deep breath and then yelled, "Pepper Breath!" Launching a red fire ball at the serpent.

Then Dorumon-San glared and said, "My turn!" He then took a deep breath and fired out a metal ball and said, "Metal Cannon!"

Seadramon-Baka roars in anger, but didn't seem affected by Tentomon-San, or Agumon-San's attacks, but it did seem that Dorumon-San's attack had caused him to at least flinch. Then I thought, 'This is not good. Maybe if I…' I looked at my Modify Cards and thought, 'Is it time that I tried these out?'

I was about to use my Modify Cards, when I heard Tai-Nii yell out, "Agumon-San, Digivolve!"

I looked to Agumon-San, who said, "I've been trying, but I can't seem to do it this time, Tai-San."

"I don't understand! You have to!" Tai-Nii yelled to his partner, trying to protect his friends and family.

Agumon-San then looked down and softly suggested, "I don't understand it either, Maybe my body hasn't recovered from the last fight."

Tai-Nii then gripped his fists tightly and asked, "But if you can't help us, how are we gonna stop Seadramon?"

Then everyone heard Matt-San's voice yell out, "Takeru-San! Over here!"

TK turned around and yelled, "Onii-Chan!"

I quickly put my cards back, deciding against using them, then me, Dorumon-San and Gomamon-San followed TK-San to the edge of the shore, where we see Matt-San swimming towards us, followed by Gabumon-San.

I looked over to the future Crest Of Friendship holder and yelled out, "Matt-San!"

TK-San, who was now close to the lands edge, then called out, "Matt-Onii-Chan, be careful! Or the monster will get y—ahh!"

A sudden shake of the island sent TK-San into the water and Matt yelled, "Takeru!"

Then I, not even thinking twice, turned to Gomamon and yelled, "We've got him! C'mon, Gomamon-San!"

The seal Digimon nodded and we dove in to get him, I tried to swim faster to get him, but Gomamon-San went ahead of me, and faster then I could blink, he had TK-San on his back, then I grabbed onto him and swam back upwards, once we breached the surface, I heard Dorumon-San and my Nii-San yell, "Lukas!"

Then I heard Matt-San's voice yell out, "TK!"

I turned to the elder Ishida and gave him a thumbs up, then I said, "Hey, Yamato, didn't I told you before, if the little guy ever ends up in the drink, I'll be the first one to go in after him!"

Matt smiled at me and said, "Thanks, Luke-San, I mean it."

I nodded and said, "Don't mention it." Really, sometimes I am too protective for my own good.

Then we both heard Gomamon-San ask, "Hey! What am I? Fried fish?" It was clear to everyone that he was joking.

I turned to Gomamon-San and laughed as I said, "No, you did great, Gomamon-San."

Then Joe ran to us and yelled, "Gomamon-San!"

Tai then turned to me and then said, "Hurry up, Matt-San! Luke-Otouto!"

Tentomon-San then flew above us and said, "You guys have got to get out fast, it's Seadramon! He's back!"

Matt-San looked to Gomamon-San and said, "Gomamon-San, you can do it!"

Gomamon-San nodded and said, "Right!" Then he started swimming back to shore.

Then Matt looked to me and said, "Luke-San, you think you can…"

I interrupted him and said with a smile and a thumbs up, "You got it, Matt! He's in good hands! You just take care of Ol' Ness there." I pointed to Seadramon, with a slight smile on my face.

As me and Gomamon-San headed back to shore, Matt-San started to wave his hands at Seadramon and yelled, "Hey! Over here, you overgrown water lizard!" This caught the giant sea serpent's attention, he turned around and gave Matt a growl.

Seadramon looked like he was going to attack Matt, but Gabumon yelled, "Blue Blaster!" The blue flamethrower hit Seadramon, but just like with the other Digimon's attacks, it did nothing. Then Seadramon flicked his tail at Gabumon, and sent him flying out of the water, and soaring through the air, screaming, "I hate this!"

When I saw that, I really had to fight down the urge to say, 'Looks like he's blasting off at the speed of light!' Really, I know that we're in big trouble here, but sometimes I just can't help myself.

Matt-San was suddenly pulled under the water by Seadramon-Teme. Me and the others were forced to watch as Gabumon-San pulled himself weakly onto the island when TK sadly said, "It's all my fault. Onii-Chan was only trying to save me, I'll never forgive myself!"

I watched as TK blamed himself for Matt's condition and thought, 'Poor little guy, blaming himself just because Matt-San put his life on the line, just to save him, his little brother. Man, I wish I could help him, but what could I say?'

Tai-Nii ran over to the edge and said, "Oh no!"

Me and the others were forced to watch as Matt was lifted into the air, with Seadramon-Baka's tail wrapped around his body in a crushing, Anaconda like grip.

Tentomon cried out, "This is not good! Seadramon may be a bubble brain, but once he finds his prey, he won't let go!"

TK then stood up, tightly gripping his fists as he said, "Onii-Chan, hang on!" TK watched his older brother get crushed to death, when he turned to his partner and said, "Patamon-San, please help him! Hit him with a Boom Bubble!"

Patamon shook his head and sadly said, "Seadramon-San's way too big, I just don't have enough power now. Gabumon-San, you're stronger, how about you?"

Gabumon-San looked down and said, "You're right. Matt-San is in trouble, and I must help!"

Then everyone heard Matt-San yell out in pain, "Gabumon!"

TK-San gave his Nii-San the bravest face he could manage, then he yelled, "Don't give up! I'll find a way to save you if it's the last thing I do!" I could see TK was doing his best to stay strong. I decided, that, in return for him helping me regain my hope, that I should give him some as well.

I walked up to TK, and placed my hand on his shoulder as I softly said, "Takeru Takaishi-San, listen to me." The young DigiDestined looked up to me as I spoke, tears in his eyes, "What's happening right now, is not your fault. Matt-San did this on his own. He chose to risk his life to protect you."

TK-San rubbed his noes, and asked, "But, but why would he put himself in harms way?"

I lightly smiled and said, "Because, that is what Nii-sans do. It is the duty of being an older brother to protect their Otouto or Imouto. Having a Imouto ourselves, me and Tai-Nii would possibly do the same thing for our sister."

TK rubbed his nose, getting the snot off his face and sniffed as he asked, "But, Matt-Nii, he could get hurt, what if…"

That was when I placed my other hand on TK's shoulder and looked him deep in the eyes as I softly said, "Listen to me, TK. Do you remember when you helped me become brave when my Nii-San was being crushed by Shellmon-Baka?"

TK nodded, tears still in his eyes, then I lightly smiled and I knew just what was needed to be said, "I need you to be brave like that again for me, for Matt-San. Don't lose faith in your brother, stay strong for him, and whatever you do, don't lose hope in your brother. As long as you have hope, as long as you believe in Matt-San, then, and only then, could you give your Nii-san the strength needed to overcome anything. So, now, be strong. Okay, Takeru-San?"

TK rubbed his eyes and said, "Yeah, thanks, Luke-San."

I smiled softly at the kid who I was starting to see like a younger brother and said, "Don't mention it, TK-San."

That was when we all heard Gabumon yell out, "Matt-San! Hold on! I don't understand any of this, but I have to save Matt-San. What's a little stinky fur compared to a friend like him? Matt-San!"

Just then, I heard the familiar sound of a Digivice and we all watched as Gabumon-San was in cased in a bright light, then Matt-San yelled, "Gabumon-San!"

D-I-G-I-V-O-L-U-T-I-O-N

Gabumon then said, "Gabumon Digivolve to…" Gabumon then transformed into a large quadruped white wolf with blue stripes. His head looked like it had a lions mane of some sort, six large spines coming out of his neck, his claws had become red, then he said, "Garurumon!"

Garurumon-San then leapt at Seadramon-Baka, freeing Matt-San from Seadramon-Teme's vice like grip. Matt-San fell into the water and swam for the island, as Garurumon-San fought with Seadramon-Baka.

He latched onto Seadramon-Baka with his jaws, but Seadramon-Baka just flicked him off with his tail, and then pushed him beneath the water.

Me and TK ran to where Matt had surfaced and TK asked, "Are you alright, Matt-Nii?"

Matt-San breathed heavily, but nodded and said, "Yeah, but where's Gabumon-San?"

I pointed to where the fight was happening, and said, "He's over there, but I think he Digivolved again, he's Garurumon-San, now!"

We all watched as Garurumon-San rose from the water, who was then followed by Seadramon-Baka. Garurumon-San whipped his tail at Seadramon-Teme and hit him in the face, causing Seadramon-Baka to rear back in pain.

Tentomon-San, the Digimon encyclopedia that he was, then said, "Garurmon-San's fur is legendary. It's strong as steel. He's like a growling torpedo. It is also stated that it's made out of a legendary material called mythril. But I don't know just how strong mythril is, seeing how it's legendary."

Izzy-San gasped in amazement then he exclaimed, "That's astonishing. Then he must be invincible."

Tentomon-San turned to Izzy-San then said, "Well, that's what I've heard, anyway. As I've said, I've only heard of mythril, how strong it is, well, it is, well, a myth. We'll soon find out."

Tai-Nii then looked over to the red beetle and folded his arms as he said, "I hope you're not exaggerating, Tentomon-San, with another one of your wild fish tales again."

Agumon-San turned to look up at Tai-Nii and said, "He could be."

Tentomon-San, being offended about his knowledge being questioned, then said, "But I heard about it!"

I rolled my eyes and said, "Well, whatever. Let's just see if he really as strong as you say he is, Tentomon-San." 'But I know for a fact that what Tentomon-San was true, but still…'

We all watched as Seadramon-Baka fired a blast of air at Garurumon-San. The lake froze over, and Garurumon-San became a wolf-sculpture.

Tentomon-San then gasped in shock, and said "Oh, no! Seadramon's using his lethal Ice Blast!"

I shivered, feeling the cold from here and said, "Brr, that's cold." Bad pun, no doubt, but sometimes, I can't help it.

Garurumon-San then broke free of his icy prison, not even shaking in the slightest and said, "Howling Blaster!" He then fired a burst of, what I thought was a burst of light blue, almost green wave of flame, knocking back Seadramon-Baka's Ice Blast, and hitting him straight in the face!

Man, talk about feeling the burn! Or should I say, giving someone the big freeze! 'Man, when did I become Mr. Freeze? I am terrible at ice jokes.'

But the battle was over, and Garurumon-San had won. We all cheered at the defeat of Seadramon-Baka, and watched as Garurumon-San DeDigivolved back into Gabumon-San, who then climbed back onto the island.

Matt-San then ran up to him and said, "Gabumon-San!"

Gabumon-San then jumped into Matt-Sans arms and joked, "Flying's sure a good way to keep my fur dry."

Matt-San lightly laughed then he said, "You Digivolved into Garurumon-San just in time!"

TK-San then ran up to the wolf and hugged him, then said, "Aw, Gabumon-San, thanks for saving my Onii-Chan!"

Gabumon-San looked like he was blushing with embarrassment and said, "Any time, little friend."

TK-San then looked up to his older brother and said with a smile, "Onii-Chan, you were so awesome against that monster!"

Matt-San looked up and blushed, then said, "You think so?" Matt-San lightly rubbed the back of his head as he blushed in embarrassment.

Gabumon-San looked up to Matt-San and said, "You know, you were the man!"

Matt-San smiled and hugged Gabumon-San as he said, "And you're the wolf-man!"

Me and the others joined Matt-San and TK-San in laughing watched together then I looked over to Tai-Nii and the others and said, "I'm happy to see that everyone's happy and laughing, right guys?"

Tai-Nii nodded, then me and him shared a brothers smile, knowing that one set of brothers are safe, and then Tai-Nii said, "Yeah, it sure is, Otouto, it sure is."

Joe-San nodded and but he looked a bit worried as he said, "Okay, very funny, but how are we supposed to get back?"

Gomamon-San, not even the littlest bit worried, simply smiled, then he jumped in the water and said, "Just watch!" Once he resurfaced, he yelled, "Fish power!"

Then a school of fish appeared and started to push the island back to the main shoreline. Once we returned to the mainlands Mimi-San asked, "Gabumon-San? May I use you for a pillow? I promise I won't take your fur."

After a while we started talking about what just happened, I was busy writing out the days events, ending with Garurumon-San's defeat over Seadramon-Baka, when Izzy-San said, "Actually, there seems to be a pattern here. This time, only Gabumon-San could Digivolve."

Sora-San, who was laying on the ground, looked up and said, "Yeah, Izzy-San's right. Agumon-San was the only one who could do it before."

Me and Tai-Nii looked back, remembering when Agumon-San Digivolved into Greymon-San, then Tai-Nii said, "You're right. It's all beginning to make sense. Agumon-San Digivolved when I was in danger."

Izzy-San slammed his fist into his open hand then said, "That has to be the answer. Our Digimon Digivolve when we're in trouble."

Sora-San looked at the Digimon with wide eyes, then she said, "Wow, that must be it!"

I shook my head, trying to prevent these kids from over doing it, and getting ahead of themselves and said, "I don't know, guys. We shouldn't jump ahead to get the answer of how our partner's Digivolve."

Izzy-San looked at me in confusion, then he asked, "How come? It seems logical, after all. So, why couldn't it be right, Luke-San?"

I looked at him and put my notebook down and placed the pen behind my ear and I said, "Because, what if we end up in trouble, but we're all separated, and only one of our partners could Digivolve, and the others are nowhere near us, say for example that Tai-Nii's in danger, but Agumon-San had already Digivolved, but he was being defeated."

I am currently trying to keep these kids from hurting themselves in order to get their Digimon to Digivolve. "If Digivolution really is a spur of the moment type thing then, he would be defeated before we could help, I'd say that before we say that we have an answer to our question, we should get all the variables first, then proceed with the answer, right?"

Izzy-San looked at me in thought, then he said, "That would make sense, Luke-San. All right, then, we should wait till we have a better idea of what it is that causes our Digimon to Digivolve, but we should keep an open mind to the original theory, for now."

I nodded with a light smile then I said, "That's fine with me, you see, the only reason why I placed my argument on the table was because I didn't want to see TK-San put himself in danger, just to get Patamon-San to Digivolve."

Everyone nodded, then Mimi-San fell on top of Sora-San, who cried out, "Hey! Watch it!" She then tried to pushed Mimi-San foo of her and onto to the ground, but, she couldn't get Mimi-San to budge.

Then Mimi-San sleepily asked, "Is it time to go to the mall?"

Sora-San tried to push Mimi-San off of her again, this time succeding, then she joked, "We've been here one day, and I think she's put some muscle on her."

Agumon-San nodded and said, "Yeah, maybe if she puts in some effort, she'll become a hard-bodied machine like I am." Then he brought both arms up and posed like he was a bodybuilder.

Biyomon-San flapped her wings and said, "I hope she grows pink wings just like my wings." I swear, it was hard to tell if the two were serious, or if they were joking.

Mimi-San then turned over on her side and sleepily said, "You must be kidding…"

One by one, Mimi-San, Joe-San, Izzy-San, and Sora-San fell asleep, along with their Digimon. Tai-Nii then yawned and I said, "Hey, you get some sleep, I'll keep watch for a while, Tai-Nii."

Tai-Nii looked to me with a raised eyebrow and asked, "Ya sure, Luke-Chan?"

I nodded, trying to keep my twitching eye undercontrol, and failing, then he laid down, but we both heard something then we turned to see that what we heard was Matt-San's harmonica again. We walked over, seeing TK-San, Patamon-San, and Gabumon-San, all leaning against Matt-San, and slowly nodding off.

TK-San then sleepily said, "Ahh, Nii-San, you're the best."

Both me and Tai-Nii smiled as TK-San fell asleep leaning on his brother, remembering when Kari-Imouto would do the same whenever she bunked with one of us during a thunderstorm, the sound of Matt-San's harmonica filling the air as another day is put to rest. And I thought, 'A new adventure ends, another day comes to a close.' Then I pulled out my notebook and finished up this current days events.

'Things are only just beginning for us DigiDestined. With Matt-San's faithful companion, Garurumon-San defeating the sinister serpent known as Seadramon-Baka, that ends with the heroes victory, overcoming their first day in the Digital World. But many more are to come, and many more challenges await. Can we handle it?' I looked towards the sleeping Ishida/Takaishi siblings, and smiled as I wrote, 'I believe we can.'

I looked at the final entry of the days events and lightly smiled, then I thought, 'Oh, yeah, this is definitely one adventure that we'll remember for years to come.' Then I closed my notebook, putting it away, then I close eyes and I fell asleep.

And so, the DigiDestined survived their first night in the Digital World, but many more are too come, can they work together to make it home, or, will the one hiding in the shadows tear these kids apart? Stay tuned for the next Digimon New Life!

Thechaosmaster: And so ends another chapter in Digimon New Life, I hope you have all enjoyed this chapter do far, and as you can see, Lucas has some trouble knowing when to intervene in situations like this, and that is mostly because of the Butterfly Effect, he doesn't know what kind of effect will happen if he intervenes, and let me ask you this, would you act the same way if you were in his shoes? Yes or no? Now then, I have given you the design of the cars back, tell me what you think, and if I should get any more and how should I obtain them in the reviews, later!

CHAOS CONTROL!

Thechaosmaster: Yep, done editing this chapter, also, to people wondeing, yes, I do plan on doing Tri, I plan on ending this series with Tri, and, I will make one thing clear, Jake Long, okay, I had mistakenly labeled him as an OC, yeah, my bad, Kevin E. Levin, He was a joke character that I thought would be funny to have as a teacher. Madame M, honestly, I have no idea who she is, I just chose that name at random. And lastly, Sarah Conners, she is not the Terminator Sarah Conners, she only has the name, her personalitly, character or whatever is not tied to the robot killer, she is just an avarage girl who is named after the famous movie character. Now, once again, the whole honorifics, should I do them or not? Let me know in the Reviews. Also, to Sonic245, I have been reading your Cardcaptor Sakura and The Blue Blur, story, and I must say, I like it. I won't leave much here, just in case there are people who are reading it right now, currently on chapter 11.

Well, enough with this, I'll see you later. Also, the new cover for this story is of Supposed to be Luke, but, well, let's just say that my writing skills are better then my drawing skills. Basiclally, it's Luke, wearing his crest, his sunglasses, and the Bandana of pride, while Olettes eyes and Crest hover over him. It's funny, I try so hard to draw Olette, but I just can't. And I do all my drawing the ld fashined way, by hand, using penciles.

Also, the whole, notebook thing, I had always found it weird that no one, NO ONE actually recorded their journeys through the Digital World, another thing that really throws logic out of the window, is the fact that every DigiDestined walks away from their journey without a scratch. Sure, they probably get scared mentally, but never physically, and don't give me that, 'Oh, but it's just a kids show.' I KNOW it's a kids show, but the odds of someone going through what these kids go through without a scratch, is annoying. But, if anyone would get a scar, I'll make sure that they earn that scar. Well, enough of my ranting.

CHAOS CONTROL! (Funny, I haven't written a Sonic Story, or watched much of the show, yet my signature for signing off is Shadows line.)
