But you guys need to remember that, I have a life outside of Fanfiction, not much of a life, but a life nonetheless. Anyways, you lot may have noticed that the discripton of the story has been changed, I figure I might do that every arc. But, who knows. Now then, I know some of you are surprised that Luke and Olette ended up together so soon, but, if you think about it, it makes sense, in a way. Now then, in this chapter, we finally get to the good stuff. Anyways, I need to make this short, I wanted to upload this chapter before I head to work. Chaos: Uh…

Blossom: Yeah, that's what I thought.

Chaos: *Tears start running down his face dramatically* YOU'RE SO MEAN! *Ehem* Anyways, I am sorry for the delay, it's just that, well, this chapter update was delayed for, well, mostly because, uh, I…

Blossom: You're stalling.

Chaos: Red, I have a question. Must you always be so mean to me? I mean, when you first came on here, you were nice and polite. Why must you be so mean against me?

Red: Honest answer? I hate people who are late. I am a very punctual spirit. And, you see these horns and this scythe? I can be a little demon if I want to be. You want a polite, gentle spirit. Call my sisters. They are more carefree then I am.

Chaos: Why?

Blossom: Simple, it's just how we are. I hate people who are always late.

Chaos: Okay, okay, I get it. Yeash. Can we please get back on track already, I think most of the readers have already gone to the actual story by now.

Blossom: Why do you even do this? I mean, it's not like anyone would actually be reading what we are saying, so, why?

Chaos: Reason, because I want to give these Author Notes some life. That is all. Now, can we please do the intro?

Blossom: Fine, the lazy bum known as Thechaosmaster doesn't own the rights to Digimon or its characters, nor does he own the rights to Yugioh or their characters. And he never will.

Blossom: *Rolls eyes* Whatever, Chaos only owns the rights to himself, Olette, and the small details that he adds in for 'plot relevant' purposes.

Chapter 13: Etemon's Dark Concert

"A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." Lao Tzu.

We were on our way to Server now. We had found our Tags in an underground convenience store, which we found thanks to a Whamon we freed from a Black Gear. However, the Tags were being guarded by the last Black Gear controlled Digimon, a Drimogemon, but thanks to Ikkakumon-San and Kabuterimon-San, Drimogemon was defeated, and the last Black Gear was destroyed.

But, during the fight, the convenience store was wreaked, and I couldn't see TK-San, so I asked Olette-Hime, who had become my girlfriend the previous night, to find him. When the two returned, they had the box that held our Tags. With all of us obtaining our Tags, all that is left to do is find our Crests. But, that is easier said, then done.

It has been almost five days since we left File Island, and we were nearing the end of our oceanic travel. Almost everyone was asleep except for, Tai-Nii, me and obviously, Olette-Hime. During the past five days at sea, I finished catching up on the past events, I was even able to get the adventures of what happened to the others sorted into my log book. That way, we each had a chapter written in.

As of right now, Taichi was standing on Whamon-San, while me and my Hime were sitting on the side, while our fingers were entangled in each other's grasp, and just enjoying each other's company, and the ride. "We left File Island almost five days ago." Tai-Nii said impatiently. It was obvious to see that five days at sea was not helping him.

Then Whamon-San calmly said, "We're almost there."

Me and Olette-Hime chuckled at Tai-Nii's impatience, then I continued telling her a tale of my younger years living with Nii-San, "That is how Tai ended up getting stuck on tree branch by the back of his shirt and was dangling like crazy! Kāsan had to call the fire department to get him down. All because he accidentally kicked his soccer ball way to high into a tree and decided to get it himself. That was why I had stopped calling him 'Monkey Boy.' Because at least monkeys know how to climb down!" This caused both me and Olette-Hime to start laughing as quietly we could, but Tai must have heard us.

"Oh, laugh it up, Kouki-Chan, need I remind you of the time you got yourself tangled up in a soccer net?" Ani said to me with an annoyed glance. Also using that annoying nickname to try and get under my skin.

But, unfortunately for him, I just laughed at his attempt and said, "Yeah, only because I was A: Five at the time and B: I was rolling down a hill so fast that I didn't see the net. That will be the only time I have ever gotten a goal in soccer, without even being one of the players! Heh!" I laughed lightly, then I said, "C'mon, Taichi, you need to learn to laugh at yourself more. It's more funnier when stupid things happen and you laugh at yourself."

Olette-Hime giggled at that and said, "It does sound hill-arious, Luke-Kun." Then she started giggling at her own joke, which brought a smile to my face.

Then I have her a quick pack on the lips and asked in a sweet voice, "Have I ever told you how beautiful you are, love?"

Olette-Hime blushed lightly as she twirled her hair between her fingers as she giggled and said, "Every single day, for the past five days, Koi."

I kissed her on her cheek and said, "And I'll keep telling, just to make sure you remember."

"Ugh, get a room." Tai-Nii said annoyance, yeash, can't this guy just let me and my girlfriend be happy for a while? Man, he's a bigger Buzz kill than Buzz Killington.

But, instead of being upset, me and Olette-Hime both looked at each other, smiled, then we turned to Tai, and said, "Umm, no." Then we started giggling again.

I saw Nii-San rolling his eyes, then I saw him become serious, and he took out his telescope. I instantly went from happy-go-lucky, to business in a heartbeat.

Olette-Hime must have noticed because we both looked at each other and nodded. We stood up and ran over to Tai-Nii, then I asked in a completely serious voice, "What is it, Ani?"

Tai-Nii looked out with his telescope and said, "I think I see an iceberg. Either that, or I see the continent of Server!"

Then Whamon, hearing this said, "It's Server." Confirming that we have finally reached our destination.

Then Tai-Nii couldn't help the stupid, face splitting smile on his face as he jumped into the air and shouted, "ALL RIGHT!"

Me and Olette-Hime looked at one another and giggled at Ani's joyful cheer. Then Tai-Nii turned to the others and said, "All right everybody, wake up! Rise and shine! We're landing at Server!"

Then Matt-San was the first to wake up as he said, "I was only resting my eyes." But you could tell that he was sleeping by the tiredness in his voice.

Then Doru-San opened his eyes and sleepily asked, "Jeremy-San? Time to wake up already?"

I chuckled, I found it funny, after five days at sea, I have stopped caring if Dorumon-San calls me Luke or Jeremy anymore. Then I nodded at my partner and said, "Yeah, Doru-San, time to get up."

Then I heard an annoyed groan, as a voice said, "Ugh, Emo-Sama, I was enjoying a very pleasant dream of tearing Mr. Complainer to shreds over and over again. It was a very good dream."

Then Olette-Hime floated over to Rouge and said, "Come on, Rouge-Chan, you have to wake up, I'm sure that you can dream about tearing Joe-San apart another time." Olette-Hime then started to scratch the back of Rouge's right ear, which caused the black cat to start purring.

Rouge then opened her eyes and lightly stared at Olette-Hime, then she sighed in defeat and said, "Oh, alright, I guess I can wake up now."

This was one of the few things that happened during our five days of sea travels. Olette-Hime and Rouge started hanging out together, they almost seemed to complement each other, Olette-Chan was the calm and caring girl that I have fallen for.

While Rouge was the wild and sarcastic black cat that has wormed her way into our group. Olette-Hime also became the only one who Rouge didn't have a nasty or sarcastic nickname for. She still calls me 'Emo-Sama.'

Tai-Nii has become 'Hot Head.' Yamato has become 'Captain Cold.' Mimi-San has become 'Cowgirl.' Izzy-San has, too no one's surprise, been dubbed, 'Brainiac.' Sora has been dubbed, 'Mother Hen.' Joe-San has been dubbed, 'Mr. Complainer.' And Takeru-San has been dubbed, 'Hatchling.'

Some of the nicknames/insults I can chuckle at, but, oddly enough, Rouge has not given a nickname to Olette-Hime. Which is very strange. I looked around and saw that everyone was still waking up.

Then I heard Tai-Nii say, "Come on, we're going to be there in a few minutes. We gotta make sure that we have everything we need!"

I stretched my arms and said, "Ani, all we have left is our Digivices, our Tags, my Modify Cards, and the clothes on our backs. We have nothing else to collect."

"Yeah, Hot Head, why don't you go and throw yourself in the ocean and cool off. It is too early for your annoying voice right now." Rouge-San said in a tired, but clearly annoyed, voice.

Sora-San then sat up, and looked out to sea and asked, "We're really there?"

Izzy-San then smiled lightly as he said, "Well, I'm ready for land again!"

TK-Kun practically jumped into the air as he cheerfully said, "I'd sure like a bed that didn't move!"

I chuckled and walked over to Olette-Hime and Rouge, then I said, "Well, I am ready to get ready for this new adventure! It is time. Our hunt for the eight Crests, begins!"

Then Agumon-San took notice of the continent and said in a surprised voice, "Wow! That island's huge!"

"I've never seen an island so big!" Biyomon-San said with equal surprise.

Then Tentomon-San flew up and said, "That's because it's not an island, it's the continent of Server."

Then I heard Palmon-San's voice say, "Mimi-San, you've gotta wake up and look at this!"

I turned and saw that Mimi-San was still sleeping, I chuckled and said, "Man, I wish I could sleep like a log sometimes."

Olette-Hime simply chuckled at this, then she turned to me and in a fake pouty voice, she said, "Aw, but then you wouldn't be able to spend time with me, Koi. Do you like sleeping more then you love me?"

I turned to her to say I was only kidding, but when I saw the face she was making, I had nearly fallen under her spell of adorableness instantly. I don't even know HOW she learned how to be this cute in the past five days, but when she made that face, it became impossible to resist her.

I tried to fight off the cuteness, I really did. But I was too weak, then I said, "No, no! Of course not! Okay? I was only kidding, Hime. Can't you take a joke?" Man, this girl truly is the only one who could possibly defeat me without even trying.

Olette-Chan floated up to me and kissed me on the cheek, then she said, "Only if you can, dear." She then gave me a playful wink, which made me blush like mad. She was cute as a kitten, and as playful as one as well.

And with that, I went through my list of arguments won by, me, my siblings, and Hime, then I thought, 'Between my siblings, it's Nii-San, seven, me, nine, Kari-Chan, fourteen. Between me and Olette-Chan, Olette-Hime, four, me, zero.'

I lightly chuckled, mostly because these 'Arguments' are nothing more than playful banter, and she has found a way to beat me every time, and I just can't bring myself to argue with her.

Then, just when I had regained myself, and was just about to smile, I heard Rouge laugh as she said, "Man, Emo-Sama, Olette's got you good. Hehehe." She then started laughing loudly.

I lowered my head in shame, my dignity as a male was bruised. Then I turned to her and asked, "Why do you keep calling me 'Emo-Sama?' Back during our separation, I could understand that, because I was a little, depressed, but why now?"

Rouge simply looked at me with a smile and said, "Simple, because you will always be Emo-Sama." Like it was obvious.

The way she said that made me want to tear my hair out! Then I heard everybody laughing, I looked over and saw the gang laughing at Mimi-San who was trying to stay asleep.

Then I walked up to Olette-Hime and grabbed her hand and we tangled our fingers together, and I said, "Well, this is it. Time to start our next adventure."

Olette-Hime nodded looked at the approaching continent and said, "Yeah, but I only hope that we can get a peaceful landing, I have had enough excitement for one day, and would just like to enjoy one day at a new place without having to be chased by giant Digimon."

I felt a slight chill run down my spine, then I said, "Something tells me, we are not going to be that lucky."

Tai-Nii looked towards me and said, "Chill out, Luke. No need to go off having visions of defeat right now. Relax." He then proceeded to slap me in the back, almost throwing me off my balance, if not for Olette keeping a tight grip, that is.

I straightened myself, then I nodded and said, "Yeah, you're right. I guess I am a little high strung right about now."

And so, after getting Mimi-San up, we all watched as Server got closer and closer into view, we were all standing on Whamon's head, waiting to take our first step on Server. Me and Olette-Hime were standing side by side with our hands still intertwined and smiling at each other. Rouge was sitting on my right shoulder, while Doru-San was standing next to Olette-Chan, sitting next to her left leg.

Then Biyomon-San looked out to sea and said, "We're almost there."

"Server, here we come!" TK-San said cheerfully.

"Tsh, attention passengers, this is your Captain speaking, we are arriving at our destination now, please gather your belongings and wait until the Whamon has come to a complete and total stop before departing. Thank you for your patients, and please, enjoy your stay on Server." I said with a faux captain's voice, which made everyone laugh.

Once we were close enough to the mainland, we all jumped off of Whamon, and we were all waiting for Mimi-San to join us, again. Then Sora-San yelled, "Come on, Mimi-San!"

To which Mimi-San looked down at us nervously and replied with, "Uh, this is a little too extreme sports for me. Is there a way I can be air lifted onto the island? Luke-San, is there any way you could lend me a hand?"

Seriously? Air lifted? "Mimi-San, I hate to say it, but, I don't have a helicopter Modify Card that I can use. So, sorry."

Izzy-San, who was looking at a a copy of Servers map, sarcastically said, "Sorry we can't just move the Continent for you, Mimi. Now, according to the map, this is the best beach to come ashore."

Then Joe-San called out, "Just put one foot in front of the other, and you'll be fine! Really! It's as easy as falling off a log, Mimi-San!"

I looked and saw a smirk appear on Olette-Hime's face, and then we watched as she floated up behind Mimi-San, who was completely oblivious as to the predicament she was about to experience. Olette-Hime then placed her finger over her lips.

'Olette-Hime. What am I going to do with you?' I thought to her through our link.

She just gave me a wink, then Mimi-San asked, "Yeah? I've fallen off of plenty of logs, and believe me, it's not as easy as it, AHH!" Mimi-San cried out as Olette-Hime gave her a gentle push, and causing her to fall, right on top of Izzy-San.

I watched as Olette-Hime floated down to us and said in all to innocent voice, "Oh, Mimi-San, are you alright?"

We all looked at Olette-Hime with wide eyes, then I asked, "Hime, have you been hanging out with Gomamon-San?"

Olette-Chan gave me a way to innocent smile and said, "Noooo." Then she wrapped her arms around me and said, "I was just playing around. Hehe."

I rolled my eyes and wrapped my arm around her and said, "You are becoming quite the comedian, aren't you, O?"

Then Mimi-San looked up and said, "I think I broke a nail!"

That was when Whamon said, "Well, good luck on your journey, kids. As well as finding those Crests! Stay safe." Whamon then left, swimming off into the ocean.

We all said our farewells and thanks to Whamon as he left, then Mimi-San, after getting off of Izzy-San, asked, "So, what are we going to do, now?"

Then Palmon-San turned to her and said, "While you were asleep, Whamon told us were to go. In the forest, a few miles from here, there's a Koromon Village."

Mimi-San placed her finger to her chin and asked, "Koromon. Why, that somehow sounds familiar."

Then Agumon-San pointed to himself and said, "I was a Koromon the day you got here!"

Then Mimi-San had a lightbulb appear over her head as she said, "Oh, I forgot!"

Then Tentomon-San said, "The Koromon are a group of Digimon, always willing to help out those in need."

Then Tai-Nii turned in the direction of where the village was and said, "Okay, gang, let's move out!"

I nodded and tightened my bandana around my head, and looked down at my Tag, then I thought, 'This is it. Time to find out what my Crest really is.' I looked up and said with pure determination, "Let's rock 'n' roll!"

We started follow the directions that Whamon gave us, then Tai-Nii looked towards me and asked, "Hey, Otouto, is there anything you can tell us about our Crests? Like, what they are? Or how we can find them?"

I looked at Tai-Nii, deciding that, while I won't tell them what their Crests are, yet, I will tell them a few things. So I said, "I'll tell you what they are when you get them. But how to find them, well..." I lifted up my Tag and said, "The Tags will lead us to them."

Matt-San nodded and said, "Great, at least we won't be going in completely blind."

Then Sora-San looked around and said, "This place is bigger than I thought."

To which Gomamon-San happily said, "It's simple physics. The Universe is expanding."

Then Joe-San groaned and said, "I think my feet are expanding. We've been walking all day long, and there's no sign of the village yet!"

Rouge then glared and said, "Mr. Complainer, I swear, if the next sentence that comes out of your mouth is another complaint, I will turn you into shredded cheese!"

We all watched as Joe-San suddenly stiffened and asked in a frightened voice, "Luke-San, you wouldn't allow Rouge-San to harm me, will you?"

I looked at Joe-San and sighed as I said, "Joe-San, don't look at me, I'm not her partner, I can't tell her what to say. You should ask O-Chan, she seems to be the only person who Rouge seems to get along with. So, dear, can you tell our little fire cracker to behave herself?"

Olette-Hime giggled and said, "I'll see what I can do, Koi." She then looked down at the black cat and said, "Rouge-Chan, please be nice to Joe-San, he's just, well, he's Joe-San."

Rouge-San looked up at my girlfriend and sighed, then she said, "Fine. But, if he starts complaining anywhere near me, and I won't be held accountable for what may happen to him. I'll just say that an evil Digimon attacked him, and leave it at that."

Olette-Chan then gave me a sweet smile, and I smiled back, and we both nodded, at least knowing that Rouge will try to hold back from attacking our friend. Well, for the moment, at least. Then I turned to Joe-San and said, "As long as you don't complain in her presence, you should be fine, Joe-San."

Mimi-San whined as she said, "Oh, I'd give anything to be in a nice clean bathtub with lots of bubbles bath in it."

Hearing that, Palmon-San turned to Mimi-San and said, "You can do that once we get to the village."

While Mimi-San and Palmon-San chatted about, I turned to Olette-Hime and said, "I honesty don't care about all of that. If you ask me, there is a very important thing to remember."

Izzy-San looked at me, from the expression on his face, it was clear that he was curious as to what I was going to say and asked, "Oh, and what's that, Luke-San?"

I smiled and looked to the sky and said, "Out of everything, no matter what happens, you gotta enjoy the little things. Pretty simple, pretty basic. But, I just don't care about fine jewelry, or lavished life styles, its just not my cup of tea. But, as long as I have those who are important close to me, I am happy."

Sora-San whistled in amazement and said, "Is that an old saying from your previous life, Luke-San?"

I nodded and looked to the sky and said, "Something like that. Diamonds and Emeralds are all priceless gems, that is true, but the real treasure, the real valuable things, are your closest friends, the ones who would walk through Hell and back for you. The ones who are close to your heart."

I looked at Olette-Hime and gripped her hand gently and said, "The ones who you would love until the ends of time. They are the real treasure."

No one said anything for a long time, I guess my philosophical words made them think about who they value, that is, until Agumon-San started smelling something.

Then he started to move on ahead. "Agumon-San, what is it?" Nii-San asked his partner.

Then Agumon-San stated, "Tai-San, I smell Koromon over in this direction."

"Really?" Tai-San asked and we all got excited, because that would mean that we were close.

Then Olette-Hime cheered and floated up a bit and cheerfully said, "That's great! That means that we must be close to the village!" She then floated back down to me and we locked arms and smiled at one another. Her smile was truly breathtaking, and the way her eyes sparkled was mesmerizing.

Tai-Nii then ran up to a hill top and pulled out his handy-dandy telescope and looked out into the distance. Then he exclaimed, "A forest!"

Then we all looked at him in excitement and we all asked, "A forest!?"

Matt-San looked towards me and asked, "Is that where the Koromon village is?"

I was about to answer when I felt a sudden chill run down my spine, almost like something bad was going to happen, but I don't know what. Then I felt something radiating from my chest.

I looked down and for a split second I saw my Tag glowing a bright green glow. 'Could my Crest be in the direction of the forest? Or is it something else?' I thought to myself, curious as to my Tags behavior.

I looked at all my friends and couldn't help but to think, 'Just what is my crest?' This has been the question that has been on my mind for the past five days now, and I just can't seem to just have any patients to wait for it to be revealed when the time is right.

Then Tai-Nii happily said, "It must be! Come on!" Then he started running towards the forest, and we all ran after him. Well, floated in Olette-Hime's case.

Then Sora-San tried to grab Nii-San's shirt to stop him, but she missed, then she yelled, "Tai-San, wait a minute!" But he was already ahead of us.

We kept on running after my older by physical age brother, and we soon ended up in the forest. We found a little path, and started walking down it. Then I heard Taichi say, "Almost there!"

I looked around and, even though the forest was calm, I couldn't shake the feeling like something was off. "I don't want to sound like Joe-San right now, but I am really having a bad feeling about this, guys."

Tai-Nii just brushed it off and said, "Aw, you're just over reacting, Luke-Chan. We'll be fine."

I sighed at Nii-San's words, knowing that, as paranoid as I was, that, maybe he was right, and I said, "Maybe you're right, but paranoia is a very dangerous thing, and I am getting a lot of it."

"Yeah, well, you're always paranoid, Emo-Sama." Said Rouge, who was resting on my left shoulder, and her nickname still made my eye twitch. I'm telling you, by the end of this adventure, my right eye will have an uncontrollable twitch.

Then Olette-Hime looked towards Rouge and said, "Well, I think that it would be best if we kept on our toes, who knows what could go wrong."

Then a few seconds later, we all saw it, the Digimon Village. It was massive. "All right! Let's get down there!" I said with joy. Then we all looked towards the village.

We saw tents all around, large enough of us to rest in, "Great! Pup tents. We can rest!" TK-San said with joy.

Mimi-San seemed to have something else on her mind as she cheered and said, "Even better, a bath!"

Mimi-San then ran ahead, leaving the rest of us in the dust. Palmon-San was gonna tell her to stop as she said, "Wait, stop!" But Mimi-San didn't hear her, so, Palmon-San ended up following after her partner.

Then Agumon-San stopped in place and looked around as he said, "Uuh..."

We all looked at the orange dino Digimon, and Nii-San asked, "Agumon-San, what is it? What's the matter?"

Agumon-San had a worried expression on his face, then he replied with, "Something doesn't feel right."

That was when we all looked at each other in worry and said, "Uh-oh!"

Then I looked to everyone and in a serious voice, said, "I think we should go down there and make sure that Mimi-San doesn't end up getting herself into some kind of trouble."

We then ran after Mimi-San, quite quickly, I might add. When we got there, we saw Mimi-San standing in front of a group of Pagumon. Then Tentomon-San said, "Hmm. Pagumon. There are more to them than meets the eye."

They then picked up Mimi-San and started running away. Then Palmon-San gasped in shock as she said, "Oh no! They've got Mimi-San!"

I looked towards Tentomon-San and asked, "I thought that this was supposed to be a Koromon village?"

Izzy-San turned to me then said, "Figure that out later! After them!"

As we then ran deeper into the village, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong. That was when I noticed that my Tag was glowing again. 'Again? This is the second time today. Is my Crest really here?' I thought to myself, but before I could figure out what it was, my Tag stopped glowing.

'Strange. Why was my Tag glowing? And why only for a short time?' I had decided to just ignore it for now and chased after Mimi-San. And we soon found the Pagumon, but no Mimi-San.

Then Tai-Nii stopped in the middle of the village and asked, "Which way?"

Then we all heard Mimi-San's voice call out, "Oh, help!"

We all turned towards the giant tower, and dashed towards it. Inside we saw it was very well built, and we all started calling out to her. "Mimi-San! Where are you!?" I called out.

Then I heard Sora-San say, "Hey, look up there! That's Mimi-San's hat!"

I picked up the pink hat, turned it over and saw the price tag and said, "Yep, this is Mimi's, all right." I then looked down at the price itself, and my eyes widened in shock as I said, "Yikes. And I thought that Darth Maul's double sided Lightsaber that I wanted for Christmas was expensive." Well, can't say that Mimi-San ain't living with any kind of money problems if she can afford this hat.

Then we all ran upstairs and saw Mimi's purse. "That's Mimi-San's purse. She never goes anywhere without it." Sora-San stated in confusion.

While the others ran in to the next room, I stopped, remembering something. "Uh, guys, I don't think..." But they were already gone. I walked inside the next room, and while I did follow them, I saw Nii-San and about to go into the shower room, then I turned to Olette-Chan and said, "This is not going to end well."

Then Sora-San pulled something out, then her eyes widened as she said, "No, Tai-San, don't go in there!"

But, as always, Nii-San didn't hear the warning, and he pulled open the curtain, and soon after wards, both he and Izzy-San were knocked out by hair products and body wash, then Sora-San closed the curtains, and she said, "I believe I said 'don't go in.'"

I chuckled at the two, then I turned to Olette-Hime and said, "Well, can't say I didn't try to warn them." Olette-Chan just giggled at the two knocked out boys.

That night, the Pagumon welcomed us to their little dens with a song and dance. "Welcome to our village, we hope you never go, stay and visit here with us, and please enjoy the show."

Then Gabumon-San turned to Agumon-San and said, "This is definitely a Pagumon village."

But Agumon-San had a confused expression on his face as he said, "There's something wrong here, Gabumon-San. I know what I smelled was Koromon. I'd bet my nose on it!"

That got me thinking, 'Agumon-San's right. And his nose is never wrong. So, why are there Pagumon in a Koromon village?' I tried to remember what happened here, but it is all a blur. 'Could these Pagumon be up to something?'

But, before I could get an answer, a group of Pagumon came over with a large trey of food and said, "Here's your pupu platter!"

Then my sense of reason went out the door, as my stomach became the head honcho for the moment. But as I was eating, Olette-Hime looked towards me and said, "Luke-Kun, I don't like this. Something feels, off, about this place. I think those Pagumon are trying to trick us." Her voice was filled with worry, and uncertainty was clear on her face.

I didn't answer her right away, but I decided to focus on the songs that the Pagumon were singing. "We can show you so much fun, it would be inhumane!"

Then I heard Tentomon-San say, "This is strange. I always heard that Pagumon were awful pranksters."

Then I heard Gomamon-San cheerfully say, "You were just hearing an awful rumor."

I looked around and watched each and every Pagumon with an analytical glance, trying to see if I could find something, ANYTHING that would ease this feeling, or even confirm Hime's suggestion about something being off. 'I know that something is off, but I don't know what.'

I then felt something down on my chest. I looked down and I saw my tag glowing. 'This is weird. Tags are supposed to lead you to your crest, yet, all this one has done today was glow whenever I felt that something was wrong. It is almost as if it is trying to warn me of something, but what?' Then, just as soon as it started, my Tag stopped glowing.

That was when I heard it. The pre verbal 'final nail in the coffin' as I focused on the singing Pagumon, and as I did so, I heard one say, "Next to you we are geniuses!"

My eyes glared at this, hearing that tone in that voice, it was something that held both mischief and deceit. Jake-San used that tone on those who has crossed a certain line, and or insulted Sarah-San in anyway, after he used that tone in a warning, he would find a way to make that person's lives miserable with the worst kind of prank that wouldn't be considered a threat onto one's life.

One of those pranks nearly got him suspended, because he once chopped up two Ghost Chilly Peppers into twenty sliced, placed them into a water bottle, and gave it to someone, the poor kid took one sip before he fell to the ground screaming that his mouth was on fire.

It was only thanks to both me and Sarah-San that we were able to convince the teacher not to suspend Jake-San. However, after that day, many became cautious about messing him. It was why I decided that, if I ever saw that jokester smile that I should be ready to run, but if he adds the Kakashi Hatake eye smile, that is when I decide that, no matter what, I run as far way from him as possible.

Because that kid is dangerous. He's kind and gentle, and his pranks are, nine times outta ten, harmless. But, once you cross that line, *gulp* well, let's just say that facing MaloMyotismon would be a much safer option and leave it at that. World ending danger level and all.

Recognising their tones as the same one Jake-San used, all but confirmed Olette-Chan's worries to me. The good news, I didn't feel the need to hide myself in a hole.

Yes, I can use trading cards to fight digital monsters in a different world, and I am frightened by a ten year old prankster? I need to get my priorities in order I hear you saying. Heh, I have my priorities in order. Stay on Jake-San's good side and run for the hills if he starts chuckling darkly while a malevolent red aura starts surrounding him.

All joking aside, I'll let you decide what's truth and what's a simple joke, anyways, after that, I thought, 'Okay, Olette-Chan. You were right, these guys are trouble. But, I can't tell the others, because they will probably never believe me, but I must do what is right. Are you with me, my lovely Hime?'

I could feel Olette-Chan give me a mental nod as she thought, 'Always, Koi. Always.'

Then I saw a bright light coming from my left, I turned to where TK-Kun and Poyomon-San were and heard the little Digimon say, "Poyomon Digivolve to Tokomon!"

And there was that savage looking hedgehog that we all know and love, and once again, he was Tokomon. "Hey, he's Tokomon again!" TK-San happily cheered out.

Then we all watched as Tokomon-San jumped into TK-Kun's arms, and Izzy-San said, "The food made him Digivolve."

"Congratulations!" Matt-San said with a smile. Obvious he was happy that his Otouto had Tokomon-San again.

Olette-Chan then floated up to TK-San and with a smile so bright that the sun pales in comparison, she said, "Oh, Takeru-San, I am so happy that Tokomon-San is back, he is just one Digivolution away from becoming Patamon, now!"

TK-San happily giggled at that, then he smiled brightly at her and said, "Aw, thanks, Olette-San. That really means a lot to me. Isn't she sweet?"

Olette blushed lightly, feeling embarrassed at Takeru-San's innocent complement, then I walked up and gave Olette-Chan a big ol' hug, and gave her a light kiss on the cheek and I said, "Yep, she sure is. And I am proud as well, TK-San."

But then I felt something off, I glanced back at the Pagumon and saw that they had a cruel smiles on their faces, I was going to glare at them, but I heard Tokomon-San say, "Together, we can make me Patamon again!"

Then Rouge actually looked towards the two and lightly smiled as she said, "Heh. Not bad, Hatchling, not bad at all." I had to take a double take at hearing Rouge be nice to TK-San. Sure she didn't really act mean to him, but to see her this, soft? Well, soft is a strong word, joke not intended, but, it is kind of rare to hear Rouge say something that isn't sarcastic.

Then Mimi-San stood up and cheered, "Let's here it for Tokomon!"

And so, we all threw our fists into the air and cheered, "YEAH! WAY TO GO! AWESOME TOKOMON!"

Then the Pagumon started jumping around as they sang, "Congratulations, way to go, we're so excited, all aglow!"

But I saw that evil gleam that sparkled in their eyes. I knew that they were up to no good, and I had to do something to stop them. But I couldn't think of what to do, so I decided to go outside for a walk with Olette-Chan to enjoy the rest of the evening.

As we were walking, we started discussing the strange behavior of the Pagumon. "I'm telling you, Luke-Kun, those Pagumon are up to something, I just know it." Olette-Hime told me using our psychic connection to communicate with each other peacefully and not allow the Pagumon to know that we were suspicious of them.

'I know, Hime, trust me, I know. Something is going on here, and I don't know what. I have been getting this bad feeling, almost like chills, running down my spine all day.' I said to her truthfully. This beauty next to me, was the only one who I could never, truly lie to.

It wasn't just because I was now dating her, or the fact that she could potentially read my thoughts, it was actually the simple fact that, just by looking at her, I couldn't bring myself to lie to her. And she would be able to read me like a book.

'It is almost like something is telling me that something is off, and every time I get that feeling, my Tag starts glowing, almost like it is aware that something is wrong.' I told her with confusion in my thoughts.

Then, as if it wanted to remind me of its existence, my Tag started glowing like crazy, almost as if it wanted to prove my point. 'There it goes again.'

At this point, I was really getting annoyed at it, I lifted my Tag to my face and said, "Okay, look here you stupid Tag, if you are going to glow, the least you can do is glow in the direction of my Crest, if you please?" Was I crazy for yelling at an inanimate object with no conscious? Possibly. But I was too tired to even care.

But it seemed that Olette-Hime was confused as to why I was yelling at, what is pretty much, jewelry, then looked at me and asked, "Uh, Luke-Koi, why are you talking to your Tag like that?"

Before I could answer her, a voice called out, "If it is the Crest that you seek, all you had to do was ask. Follow the path, and you will find what you are looking for." The voice was clearly male, but, there was something about it that sounded, familiar. It sounded like, my own?

Nah. That's just silly. Then again, a lot of 'silly' things has happened since I arrived in the Digital World.

I blinked several times, confused as to what I had just heard, before I turned to Olette-Chan and said, "Uh, dear, I may just be getting tired, but I could have sworn that I just heard a voice speak to me. And, for once, it wasn't yours or Doru's."

"Honey, you are not that tired, because I heard it too. And I can't even get tired." I heard Olette-Chan say to me. Both of us were now very much confused as to the source of the new voice.

Then, to add to the strangeness of this night, my Tag then began glowing even brighter then before, and soon, a green beam of light shined out from my Tag, and led deeper into the forest. I looked at Olette-Hime for a while, then we both nodded.

I took out one of my Modify Cards and saw that it held an image of the Beast Sword, then, I whispered, "Leomon's Beast Sword, Activate!"

Then, with the card dissolving into data, which then assimilated itself into Leomon's sword, which appeared wrapped tightly, around my waist.

I slowly pulled the short sword out and swung it a few times to get used to the weight, then I held it tightly in front of me and said, "Best to be prepared for anything, right my sweet?"

Olette-Chan lightly blushed at the affectionate nickname as she nodded and said, "Right you are, dear, right you are."

We then followed the path of light that my Tag was making, we had to cut through some vines that blocked our way, but other than that, we ran into no problems, after a minute or two of walking and cutting vines, while following the green beam of light, we came across a giant stone slab, it looked like it had been here for years.

There was moss and vines covering it, like nature itself had encased the stone, trying to hide it forever. But it was the design that really surprised me. Even through the vines and moss, I could see what was etched into the stone. "It's just like the design on the back of my Modify Cards." I said in surprise.

Yes, etched into the stone slab, was a larger version of the shield design that are on my Modify Cards. But, there was something about the symbol that felt, familiar. Like I had seen them before. I hadn't really thought about the strangeness of this feeling since the night Gabumon-San Digivolved into Garurumon.

Then my Tag began glowing even brighter, and soon, the giant stone slab began glowing as well, then the stone slab started shaking, knocking off all the vines and moss that was on it, then the stone began shrinking and soon it turned into a small, see through, thin, light blue, microchip, with a green shield design in the center, and it inserted itself into my Tag, which then started glowing even brighter.

Then I felt a pulse of energy expand outwards, then I felt as if the ground beneath me was alive. But the feeling quickly left me.

Then we heard that very same voice say, "The Crest of Protection. The Crest of the Unshakable Earth. The Crest of the Guardian. Take it. It is yours, after all, Kouki Kamiya."

I looked around and saw no one in the area, then I asked, "Who are you? Where are you?" This was, by far, the strangest thing that I have experienced so far. And I'm currently in a relationship with a spectral entity who I found sleeping in my head, so, that's saying something.

Then the voice chuckled and said, "Just a friend. And I am closer then you think." Then, just like that, my Tag and Crest stopped glowing, and the night grew silent.

After waiting a few minutes, as if, hoping to hear the voice speak in anything but riddles, but still, silence remained. So, sighing in defeat, I turned to Olette-Chan and said, "Let's head back, O-Hime. I don't want to leave my friends alone any longer, besides, I would like to get some sleep before it's too late."

Olette-Chan nodded and we managed to make it back to our friends, I looked around and saw that everyone was still here, and were all still sleeping. But I saw no sign of the Pagumon, which was fine with me, then I laid down, and Olette-Chan laid down next to me, and I wrapped my arms around her, then we snuggled together, and I softly said, "I love you, Hime. Oyasumi."

Olette-Chan snuggled her head into the crook of my neck and said, "Love you too, dear. Oyasumi." And with that, we were both out like a light, but, before I fell asleep I placed my Tag under my shirt, don't want to lose it just yet.

During my sleep, I dreamt of something, I saw images of me, making the very earth beneath my feet bend to my very will, like I was some kind of Earthbender. That was when I was woken up my Takeru-Kun's voice calling out, "Tokomon! Tokomon where are you?"

I opened my eyes slowly, and sat up, feeling just a tiny bit groggy after last night's crest hunt, but then I heard Nii-San shout out, "KOUKI KAMIYA! WAKE UP! TOKOMON'S GONE!"

Hearing Tai-Nii calling me by my real name, erased all of my groggy feeling gone faster than a Hyperchip. I quickly stood up and in a serious voice I said, "Olette-Hime!"

My girlfriend quickly materialized right next to me with a small smile on her face and she asked, "You called, dear?"

I couldn't be jokester right now, nor could I be the carefree, and playful boyfriend, and instead I seriously nodded and said, "Yeah, Tokomon's gone!"

Olette-Chan gasped in shock as she covered her mouth and said, "Oh, no!"

I nodded seriously and said, "We're going to need all hands on deck looking for him! Do what you can." I then kissed her on the cheek and smiled, then I said, "Good luck."

Olette-Chan blushed and nodded, then she kissed me on the cheeks and said, "Good luck." And then she flew off.

I looked and noticed that Dorumon-San and Rouge were already gone, I then ran out of the tower and I saw Tai standing on top of one of the huts. I ran up to him and asked, "Nii-San! What's happening?!"

Tai-Nii looked down from the roof he was on and said, "It's Tokomon! He's just disappeared! We can't find any trace of him! What about you? We tried waking you up, but you slept right through our attempts!"

I looked at Tai-Nii and seriously said, "I'll explain once we find Tokomon. Olette-Chan is already out and about looking for him. I'll know if she finds him!"

Tai-Nii nodded then while everyone was talking amongst themselves, the Pagumon bounced up to us and said, "Well, he's not by the waterfall."

And Izzy-San, who had a map drawn out in the sand, crossed that place off of the list. But I had a bad feeling about this, then my Tag started glowing like crazy, everyone looked at me as I took out my Tag and Sora-San took notice of it and said, "Wait, Luke-San! You found your crest?"

I nodded, a completely serious expression laid out across my face as I said, "I was up late last night, so me and Olette-Chan decided to go for a walk. But, during the walk, I kept getting this strange feeling like something was wrong, then my Tag started glowing, and soon enough, it led us to a giant stone slab. This slab ended up being my crest."

Tai-Nii looked down at me, then he asked, "Well, why is your Crest glowing?"

I looked down at my Tag and Crest, then I said, "Last night, I asked my Tag to lead me to my Crest, why I did it? I have no idea. But I did, and it actually responded, and I mean, like, really, a voice spoke."

The more I told them what had transpired last night, made me realize how crazy it all sounded, but I still continued. "But, I don't think it will work for you guys. But, if I was being honest, I think that my Tag reacted to my thoughts, and because my Crest ended up being nearby, my Tag led me to the Crest. And as for why it's glowing? I only have a hunch."

I took a subtle glance at the Pagumon, knowing that they had something to do with Tokomon-San disappearing in the middle of the night.

I then saw Agumon-San walk deeper into the forest, then I felt my Tag beginning to glow brighter, just for a second. Then, deciding on a plan, or at least, coming up with parts of a plan, I said, "Dorumon-San, Rouge, Nii-San, follow me. Everyone else, keep looking." The three I just mentioned nodded and Tai-Nii jumped down from the top of the hut.

I then started walking after Agumon-San, and my three companions followed after me. As we were walking into the forest, Tai-Nii asked, "Hey, Otouto, you okay? You seem to be on edge today."

I stopped walking and the others stopped as well. I didn't turn around then I said, "We cannot trust the Pagumon, Nii-San."

Tai-Nii looked at me in surprise, then he asked me, "We can't? Why not? They seem friendly enough."

I looked at him and stared at him dead in the eyes and asked, "Did you not hear what Tentomon-San called the Pagumon? He said that they were notorious pranksters."

Tai-Nii, oblivious as to what I was TRYING to explain, raised an eyebrow and asked, "Yeah? And?"

I slapped my forehead at Nii-San's lack of intelligence. It wasn't that I was calling him stupid, it was just that, well, subtlety is not a concept that Ani understands. So, deciding to be direct about this, I said, "Taichi! We can't trust them! I have been getting a bad feeling about those little puff balls since they gave us their little welcoming party!"

It's no wonder he can't tell that Sora-San likes him. He's so dense, that compared to him, a bowling ball floats in the ocean.

Hearing this, Nii-San looked at me in shock, then he asked, "What? Why didn't you tell us?"

I looked at him dead in the eyes and said, "Would you guys believe me? No! You would have thought that I was getting paranoid! But now look! Tokomon-San is gone! And I know without a doubt that he wouldn't just leave without a reason! Especially not without letting TK-Chan know first. I betchya that those Pagumon have something to do with it!"

Ani didn't say anything for a while, then he looked at me with a serious expression across his face, then he said, "Well then, where should we start looking?"

I gave Tai-Nii one of my more serious smiles and said, "We start by finding Agumon-San. No doubt he would be able to find Tokomon-San, and possibly, the missing Koromon as well."

Taichi then looked back towards the Koromon Village and he asked, "Well, shouldn't we tell our friends about this?"

I shook my head and said, "No time. If the Pagumon were to discover that we know about their treachery, and we still haven't found Tokomon-San yet. So, they will probably go to wherever it is that they have hidden him away, and probably hide him away again, this time far from where we can find him." I then gave Tai-Nii a smirk and asked, "So, Taichi, are you up for a little rescue mission?"

Tai-Nii cracked his knuckles and smiled, as he said, "Sure. But how are we going to get back up if we need it?"

That was when I gave him a knowing smile and said, "Hime?"

In an instant, Olette-Chan was floating right next to me, then she asked, "You called, love?"

I turned towards her and in a serious voice I said, "Yes. I need you to head back to the village, and keep watch over the others, once we find Tokomon, I want you to inform everyone of our location, and tell them to hurry. Understand?"

Olette-Hime nodded then she said, "Yes I do. You can count on me, Koi." And with that, she was off.

I smiled lightly at her and I said, "I know I can." Then I got serous and turned to Dorumon-San and said, "Ok, Doru-San, can you pick up what direction Agumon-San went in?"

Dorumon-San walked in front of me and said, "Give me one second." He then started sniffing the area then he turned towards a direction and he said, "I've got him!"

I nodded in gratitude, then I pulled out one of my Modify Cards and said, "This is going to be tough, so best be prepared. Leomon's Beast Sword, Activate!" Then the Modify Card began glowing in a bright green glow, and for a fraction of a second, I could have sworn that my Crest began glowing as well, but it happened to fast to confirm. Then the iconic sword of Leomon appeared in my hand and I said, "Let's go!"

We all nodded and Rouge said, "Good, I was getting antsy." Clearly she was bored and wanted to get into some kind of trouble.

Then I turned towards Dorumon-San and said, "Lead the way, Doru-San."

Dorumon-San nodded and said, "This way. Follow me." Then we all ran off into the direction of where Dorumon-San was running towards. We all started running, but then I noticed smoke rising above the treetops.

Then I said, "Guys, look!" Everyone looked up to see the steam, then I said, "I betchya that that is where Agumon-San is!"

Tai then tightened his fists and he said, "He must be in trouble!"

Then I hardened my glare as I said, "That must mean that he's found Tokomon, but has gotten into some serious trouble. Well then, we best get our back up!" Everyone nodded, then I thought, 'Olette-Chan, we have visual on Agumon-San's position. Tell everyone to head to the direction of the steam smoke. And make sure to tell them not to trust the Pagumon.'

At first there was silence, and I was a little worried, but then Olette-Hime's voice came through and said, "They have been informed, and we also found a Botamon in the village, meaning that the Pagumon were indeed lying as we had believed. The others are heading in your direction now. We should be arriving in a few minutes."

I nodded and thought, 'Good, hurry over here, quickly.'

Olette-Chan didn't say anything, but I knew she was coming. I turned to the others and said, "Olette-Hime told me that the others are on their way. They should be here soon."

Everyone nodded, then we ran in the direction of the steam, hoping that Agumon-San was okay. A few minutes later, we were arriving at the waterfall. Then Tai-Nii yelled out, "Agumon-San!"

Then, from behind the thunderous roar of the waterfall, we all heard Agumon-San call out, "Tai-San! Help me!"

Then, as we got closer and closer, Tai-Nii yelled, "Hold on, Agumon-San!" Then we all arrived at a hidden cave behind the waterfall. Then we all looked at the furry grey Digimon.

I positioned my Beast Sword in front of me. "Gazimon. Just what we needed." I then saw a beaten up Agumon-San, a tied up Tokomon-San, locked inside of a cage, as well as the Koromon. "And it looks like we found the missing Digimon as well." I said as I glared hard at the sniveling Digimon.

Dorumon-San had a vicious snarl across his face and he said, "You guys are going to pay for hurting our friends and locking up the Koromon."

Rouge-San extended her claws and said, "You'll be lucky if you even have a tuft of fur left on your tail ends, you punks." I could just tell by the tone of her voice that she was itching to start this fight.

I positioned my sword in a defensive position and said, "That is, if we don't turn you into scrap data, first."

Tai-Nii looked down at his partner and he asked, "Agumon-San, are you all right?"

Agumon-San started to push himself up, then he looked up at Ani and he said, "Now I am."

Then the Gazimon turned to us and one of them asked, "So, you're two of the DigiDestined!"

Then I raised my D-Ark and spun it in my hand and I said, "Yep. And now is the time we kicked this battle into high gear!"

Tai-Nii nodded and pulled out his Digivice and said, "Digivolving time. Agumon-San, get up!"

Agumon-San's eyes opened and you could see the fire burning in his eyes. Then he said, "You got it!"

Dorumon-San smirked wildly as he said, "I'm feeling like a champion now!"

Then I raised up my D-Ark and said, "Digivolution, Activate!"

D-I-G-I-V-O-L-U-T-I-O-N

Then Agumon began glowing in a bright light, while Dorumon's body was converted to zeros and ones, and soon, Greymon and Dorugamon were standing at attention. Then Greymon split the waterfall with his horns. While Dorugamon was chomping away at the Gazimon, and Rouge had her claws at the ready.

Then Greymon-San looked down at the two small Digimon and asked, "So, you like to fight two against one, eh?"

Dorugamon-San took a bite at the Gazimon, frightening them, and said, "Now let's see how you like fighting."

And Rouge had her claws glowing in darkness as she said, "Three against two. Well? Who wants to go first?"

Then Greymon-San said, "I'll go first. I have a score to settle. Nova Blast!" He then launched a massive ball of fire at the two Gazimon.

He knocked them into the water, then Dorugamon said, "Here, have a ball! Cannonball!" He then launched a large iron sphere at one of the Gazimon, sending him into the ocean.

Rouge then ran up to the last one and said, "This won't hurt much. It's gonna hurt a lot. Phantom Punch!" She then unleashed a powerful, shadow encased right hook to the last Gazimon, sending him flying into the ocean.

Rouge brushed her hands together and said, "Well, that was satisfying. Anyone else?"

I smiled at Rouge's statement, not at all surprised by it, then I turned to the locked cages, and saw TK-Kun trying to unlock Tokomon's cage. Then I said, "Let me take care of this, TK-Kun." The young DigiDestined looked u at me, then he backed away as I lifted up my Hyperchip Modify Card and said, "Hyperchip, Activate!"

Then I felt that incredible sugar high, and I then positioned the Beast Sword in front of me, and then, I moved. And in what could only have been a few seconds, I returned to my original position, and sheathed the sword.

Then moment the handguard clicked, all of the cages fell apart and the metal bars were heard clanging on the ground, and the sword and Hyperchip returned to being regular old playing cards.

I smiled at the results, then I said, "Now that is how you break out of jail! And look, not even a scratch on the little guys. That's a win for me!" I finished it off with a snap of my fingers and a thumbs up.

TK-San cheered happily and ran up to Tokomon-San and freed him from the ropes and said, "Tokomon-San! I thought I'd lost you again!"

Then Tokomon-San smiled happily, then he cheerfully said, "I'm like a boomerang. I keep coming back!"

I smiled at the reunion between friends, and turned to Olette-Chan and said, "Thanks for giving everyone the heads up, O-Hime."

Olette-Chan smiled at me lightly as she said, "Not a problem, Luke-Kun."

Then Sora-San turned to all of the Koromon and said, "The Pagumon are gone. You can all return to your village now."

Then all of the Koromon cheer as they said, "Thank you!"

We all smiled at our victory, but our joy was quickly turned to annoyance when we all heard an Elvis live voice say, "Uh, hello."

Then Joe-San looked annoyed as he said, "Oh, great. It's a Digirockstar." Well, at least he wasn't frightened. That's a change.

Then we all saw a holographic projection of puppet like Digimon. He was orange and looked like a chimpanzee. I groaned in annoyance, recognizing this annoying Digimon. Then I sarcastically said, "Oh, great. Another annoyance. Etemon-Baka."

Then Etemon-Baka started laughing as he said, "You measly little DigiDestined humans, thank you very much! Hello!" I swear, I found this guy to be the most annoying evil Digimon the series has ever created.

Honestly, I would rather be stuck in a room with Gomamon-San and Terriermon-San, while they tell each other terrible jokes for three hours, then deal with Etemon-Baka.

Then the Koromon gasped in shock as they said, "It's Etemon! Oh, no!"

Then the Elvis wannabe did that annoyingly stupid laugh of his as he said, "You messed up all of my big beautiful plans, so now I'm gonna have to punish you all by playin' a little number you ain't gonna like. It's called 'Wreaking the whole place!" He then took hold of his guitar, and I really wished I could cut those seams of his.

Then Tai-Nii looked up in shock as he asked, "Wreaking the whole place?"

Izzy-San then looked up at the Digimon and asked, "Do you think he can actually do that?"

Then Etemon-San then raised his right hand to the sky and said, "Dark Network, Concert Crush!" And at that, he played a single cord, and it created a shockwave of sound.

Then the ground started shaking like crazy. We were all doing our best to keep ourselves from falling onto our faces, then Matt-San asked, "What's going on!?"

We then watched as these black lines, almost like cracks started floating above the village, then Etemon-Baka started laughing like crazy.

Then we had to take cover as ruble started to be launched at us. Then Sora-San looked towards the others and said, "Everyone, Digivolve, now!"

They all nodded, then their Digivices went off, then Garurumon-San has joined the battle along side Greymon-San and Dorugamon-San. But then Etemon-Baka looked down at our partners and asked, "Well, ya say you want a Digivolution? Guess what? The answers NO!" Then Etemon strummed his guitar once more, and he then said, "Dark Network, Concert Crush!"

Then, the cracks that were in front of us started to glow in a red energy, and it caused our partners pain. Pain that I was feeling, it was so great, that I was forced to my knees, Olette-Hime got worried about me, and she floated over to me and grabbed my arm as she said, "Lukas-Kun! Are you okay?"

I had stopped feeling the pain as all three of our Digimon was forced to revert back to their Rookie forms, then I said, "I had just felt whatever it was that forced our partners to revert back to their Rookie forms, I'll be okay though. Just, just let me catch my breath." Yikes, that was painful.

Tai-Nii looked at our partners then he asked, "What's going on here?"

Then, as I slowly stood up, with Olette-Hime's help, then I said, "It's Etemon... he took away our ability to allow our partners to Digivolve."

"Yeah, Dark Network took our power." Agumon-San told us weakly.

"Does Rock 'N' Roll have that effect in your world?" Tentomon-San asked us, it was clear to tell that he was curious.

"Only on our parents." Stated Sora-San simply.

We all watched as Etemon-Baka continued to destroy the village, and we were powerless to stop him. Then Izzy-San asked, "So, there's no way for us to fight this monster?"

"As we are, no. If only we could Digivolve a step further." Tentomon-San said in a slight panicked voice.

Then Matt-San seemed to have a lightbulb appear over his head as he asked, "A step further? Wait!" He then turned to me and said, "Luke-San! You have your Crest, right? Can't you take him on?"

Then I looked weakly at Yamato and shook my head as I said, "Not with him pulling the strings, no! If we were able to get out of the range of his Dark Network, we could possibly have an advantage. But, as of right now, I don't even know how to use my crest."

Then I looked towards my partner and said, "And besides, The moment I Digivolve Dorumon to Dorugamon, Etemon would then immediately use his Dark Network to revert him again. We need to get away from his Dark Network. But I don't see any other exits around here."

Almost immediately as I said that, the cave started to collapse in on itself, causing us to retreat deeper into the cave, only to be blocked by a giant wall with the symbol of a sun on it.

But now our only exit was blocked, and the only other exit, was to go back and try to fight Etemon-Baka. Which wasn't the best option. "Great, a dead end. Now what are we going to do?" I asked annoyed. Then I felt something. "Huh?" I asked in confusion.

Everyone looked at me and Tai-Nii asked, "What is it, Otouto? Figure something out?"

I shook my head and I said, "I could have sworn that I had felt, something. What?" There it was again.

A small pulse of some kind, I couldn't explain what it was, but, I could swear that I was hearing a small voice telling me to cover my eyes. Then I heard that voice from last night say, "The light will hide the truth that many will miss. So, instead, allow the darkness to cover your eyes, to see the unseen."

Slightly confused as to what was just said, but, it wasn't like I had anything to lose, so deciding I needed a light chuckle, I moved my bandana over my eyes, and now I was completely blind. All I saw was darkness. That was, however, until, I suddenly wasn't. "What the? Okay, now this is weird." I said in complete confusion.

I heard Izzy-San ask me, "What is it, Luke-San?"

I turned to where Izzy was standing, still blinded by the bandana and I said, "I don't know how, but I can almost see right through this wall. Almost as if it is not meant to be here."

Then Tai-Nii looked at the wall and he asked, "Well, how do we get passed it?"

Then I felt light coming from behind me, I turned to face Tai-Nii and I saw his Tag glowing, I moved my bandana off of my eyes, my sight returning to normal, and we all watched as the room that we were standing in, began to glow a bright red orange.

Then the wall in front of us turned into an red and orange Crest with the symbol of the sun etched into it. Then Tai-Nii looked down at the Crest and said, "I think I know what this is."

I nodded, letting Taichi know that he was correct on his guess as I said, "And you would be correct. That, is the crest of Courage, Ani. The Symbol of the leader. Congrats."

Tai-Nii watched as his crest locked into his Tag, then he asked, "Crest of Courage?"

I nodded and was about tell him something when he looked like he was in pain, but it was short lived. He blinked a couple of times and said, "Well, that was weird." He blinked a couple of times before he said, "The Crest Of Courage. The Crest of The Blazing Inferno? The Crest of the leader? What was that all about?"

I heard what he had said, and I was confused as to why he had said that, so I looked at him and asked, "You okay, Ani?"

Tai-Nii nodded and smiled, then he said, "Now we have two Crests! By the way, what's your Crest, Luke-Chan?"

I resisted the urge to twitch my eye in annoyance, and instead pulled out my Crest and showed everyone the shield design and said, "It's called the Crest of Protection."

Tai-Nii seemed to smile and said, "It's perfect for you."

Sora-San then looked up and she gasped in shock as she said, "Look!"

We all looked up, and were surprised to see that the wall was gone, and we were now able to leave, then I turned to look behind us, making sure that Etemon or his flunkies weren't following us, then I looked to the new exit and said, "Come on, we have to get a move on!"

Then Joe-San decided to ask, "Didn't this used to be a wall?"

Then Rouge sarcastically said, "No, there was an exit here the whole time. We just wanted to see if you would notice, Mr. Complainer."

Olette-Chan lightly chuckled at Rouge's comment, then she said, "Now, now, Rouge. No need to be sarcastic. He was just asking a simple question, that's all."

Then a Koromon said, "It used to be a wall, but the Crest must have brought us here. These mountains are a long way from our village."

Joe-San smiled brightly as he gripped his fist in victory, then he cheered, "All right! Frequent flier miles!"

Matt-San lightly smiled as he said, "This place is the bomb!"

We all enjoyed the beauty of the area. I then grabbed Olette-Chan's hand and said, "It may be beautiful, but not as beautiful as you, Olette-Hime."

Olette-Chan lightly blushed and with a cute smile, she said, "Oh, you. Flattery will get you nowhere, Luke-Koi."

I smiled back at her and said, "It may not, but it doesn't change the fact that it's true."

Then Tai-Nii looked down at his crest and said, "With this Crest, we can do anything we want. Do you know, guys, I think this is a first step on our trip home!"

I smiled at Ani's attitude, then I said, "And it is, but, you must remember, don't let this go to your head, Tai-Nii. You must always be true to yourself, and your crest. Because if not, it may come back to bite you in the butt. Big time."

Tai-Nii nodded, acknowledging what I had said. Or, at least, I hope he is and I said, "Right, but as long as we have at least two Crests, we are golden." And to be honest, I couldn't argue with my brother.

I looked down at my Crest and thought, 'The Crest of Protection. Crest of the Earth. Crest of the Guardian. I wonder what that means?'

And so, we have narrowly escaped the clutches of Etemon, and both me and Tai have obtained our Crests. But, what was with that feeling I had when I first got the Crest? And being able to see through the stone? Who was that voice? And, most of all, will I be able to prevent Tai-Nii from creating SkullGreymon? I can only hope. Find out next time on Digimon New Life!

Thechaosmaster: And there we have it, and if you guys have noticed, I am planning on doing something different with the crests, I really felt like they were underused, so, each crest will grant it's barrer an element to utilize, and an ability to go along with it. Lukas will be Earth, Matt will be Ice, Izzy will be elcetricity, Sora will be fire, Joe will be water, Mimi will be grass, or Mokuton, to you Naruto fans, TK will be wind, and Kari will be, well, Light. But I can''t decide on what Tai should be. SO, my question, should Tai have fire to bring him closer to Sora? Or should he have a type of 'Gold Dust' ability? Or something else? Blossom: You know, I really find Etemon to be really annoying.

Chaos: Yeah, tell me about it.

Blossom: Anyways, What do you plan on doing with the next chapter? Surely you have a plan for Battle Of Brothers updated chapter, right?

Chaos: Of course I do.

Blossom: So, what is it?

Chaos: Well, one thing I'm definitely going to do is make the fight scene between Phobos and Luke longer. Change all the attacks that the Humans use into Japanese names. Because I found them to sound cooler.

Blossom: Rrrrrrriiiigggghhhhtttt. That's the only reason.

Chaos: Hey, it's true! Plus, well, wait! I can't say anymore without spoiling the entire thing!

Blossom: Whatever. Just don't delay the readers any longer than you have to. You said that this would take you a couple of weeks to edit. It's taken you months.

Chaos: … … …
