Kurivolt: Well, maybe this will teach you about making your readers wait longer than the time you promised them.

Chaos brushes himself off: I know, and I know no one actually threw any of those things, I just wanted to say that in one of my introductions, but, the reason why this chapter took so long to write was because I was focusing on creating the Crest spirits and the powers that each DigiDestined will have, yes, you heard me right. The DigiDestined will be fighting along side their partners. Just don't expect Tai to be punching VenomMyotismon any time soon. But, it will happen. And, I must say, I am surprised that everyone liked that last chapter. To be honest, I was a little uncertain about how people would react, but seeing you guys leave so many reviews saying that you liked it, makes me feel happy. By the way, I have just gotten A REAL TAG AND CREST TODAY! THE CREST OF MIRACLES, and I am wearing it right now. Well, time to stop wasting everyone's time. And now, on with the show!

Thechaosmaster: Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year.

Blossom: What excuse do you have for being so late now, boss?

Chaos: Ehem, look, I got a new laptop for Christmas and I am just getting used to writing on it. So, give me a break! Anyways, I'm here now, and I managed to get this chapter updated.

Blossom: So, what is the deal with that new poll on your page, boss?

Chaos: I'll explain more on that at the bottom. Right now, why don't I give you guys the story?

Blossom: You know the deal, Chaos only owns Luke and Olette, everything else belongs to some rich guy from Fox.

Chapter 15: The Boat Ride To Sincerity

"Sincerity is impossible unless it pervades the whole being, and the pretense of it saps the very foundation of character." James Russell Lowell.

We had managed to get away from Etemon-Baka after finding Ani's Crest Of Courage, but our momentary peace wasn't meant to last, Tai- Nii wanted the gang to be ready for another fight, but he was being very demanding.

He had forced us to give all of the food to him, just so he could shove it down Agumon-San's throat, literally. But I was able to save a few bites for Doru-San to eat. But then Joe-San's Tag began glowing like crazy, and it led us to what looked to be the Roman Coliseum, and it was there where we ended up in a trap, no big surprise there.

It was there that Etemon-Baka attacked us with a mind controlled Greymon, we were forced to run and ended up trapped in a goalie's net. But, just before the net came down, I shoved Dorumon-San out so he could be able to help Agumon-San out.

But, during the fight, Tai-Nii was not being very supportive of Greymon-San, he kept demanding more and more from his partner. Then when Olette-Hime tried to get Tai-Nii-Baka to calm down, he yelled at her, that caused me to punch him in the gut.

Shortly afterwards, we started digging our way out of the net, and we ended up finding Joe-San's Crest of Reliability. Then we found an underground tunnel.

But after we returned to the surface, that was when Tai-Nii got foolish. That Baka forced Greymon-San to Digivolve, and by doing so, he corrupted Greymon-San, turning him into SkullGreymon.

And to make matters worse, Ani ended up being corrupted as well. The darkness that Nii-San unleashed by forcing Greymon-San to Dark Digivolve into the Ultimate level, caused Tai-Nii to be possessed by a dark spirit, born from his miss usage of his Crest.

A dark entity, calling himself, Phobos. He used SkullGreymon to try to destroy us DigiDestined, but before he could harm my friends, I jumped to stop the attack, and ended up unleashing the full force of my Crest.

And thanks to the Spirit of my Crest Of Protection, a being calling himself Apollo, I managed to stop Phobos' attack, with a large green shield that was created from nothing, then me and Phobos duked it out, while my partner, who had been able to Digivolve into the Ultimate level, DoruGreymon, clashed with SkullGreymon.

Then Phobos created a sword from darkness and unleashed a blast of dark fire, an attacked called, 'Amaterasu', but I was able to block the attack, and ended up defeating Phobos by transforming my shield into a crossbow, and firing an arrow made from light.

Then, after the dust settled, Tai-Nii returned to normal and he apologized for what he did. And then both SkullGreymon and DoruGreymon-San reverted back to their In-Training forms, Koromon-San and Dorimon-San.

Then Tai-Nii surrendered his Crest to me, saying that he wasn't ready for using the Crest, even though we all forgiven Tai-Nii, only question now is, can Nii-San forgive himself?

So, here we were again, walking through a hot flipping desert, we were all hot, "Man, this desert is so hot, even a lizard would need a sunscreen." Yamato-San said in exhaustion.

I weakly nodded, while removing my bandana to rub the sweat from my forehead, and said, "Yeah, and I bet a dragon would roast out here."

"Are you talking about me, Luke-San?" Dorimon-San asked weakly from the inside of my backpack, I figured that, with the scorching heat, that my partner deserves to cool down a bit.

I chuckled and looked back to my partner and with a smile, I said, "No, Dori-San, I'm not. You would know it." Dorimon-San chuckled as well.

"Luke-Koi, is Tai-Nii doing okay?" Olette-Hime, who was floating next to me with Rouge-San snuggled comfortably in her arms, asked me, concern was clear in her voice.

Ever since the incident, O-Hime has started calling Ani her Nii-San as well. If you were to ask me, I would say that it was because as she had said, because we were dating, she was as much part of our family, as I was. Which is very touching, if I do say so myself.

I turned to my Nii-San and saw that he was looking down sadly at Koromon-San, I then took the Crest Of Courage out from under my shirt and look at it for a long time.

I looked towards Nii-San, and saw the sorrowful expression on his face, then I turned towards Olette-Chan and said, "He's still a little shaken up, Aisuru, you know that."

And she silently nodded, her simple acknowledgement was all I needed to know that she understood, then I said, "But, in all honesty, I don't know what is going through his mind right now. As of right now, we can only hope for the best."

I saw that Olette-Hime nodded in understanding then I thought, 'Nii-San, you need to let it go. Yes, what happened was your fault, but you know that we have already forgiven you. Why can't you do the same for yourself? And you shouldn't have surrendered your Crest to me.' I thought to myself, mostly.

"Tai-San is a brave kid, and his heart is in the right place, but it is his head that needs to be set on the right path. All he needs to do is find himself again, Luke-San, you know that." Apollo, the spirit of my Crest, had told me.

I sighed in defeat and gripped The Crest Of Courage tightly and thought, 'I know that, Apollo-San, trust me, I know. But I am still worried about him.'

"Then, if you are truly worried, Luke-San, then maybe you should converse with him. Have a Ani to Ani chat with him, Luke-San, tell him that I don't blame him for what he did. Tell him that I could never blame him. All I want is for him to know that I will never blame him for what had happened." A woman's voice said. This was the spirit of Tai's Crest Of Courage, Amaterasu. I call her Amy-San, for short.

I sighed again, knowing that she was right, not one of us could bring ourselves to blame our leader, and I thought, 'I know, Amy-San. Trust me, I know. But you should know how stubborn Ani is. Don't worry, I will try to get through my Ani's thick skull, even if I have to use a power drill to do it.' I lightly chuckled at the last part.

Now then, many are probably wondering how the spirits of the Crests of Courage and Protection are in my mind right now. Well, after what happened at the Coliseum, Apollo-San appeared inside my mind, saying that, as long as I had the Crest Of Protection around my neck, he would be there. And that, single piece of information,

And Amy-San was there because of the same reason, she explained that because of my tight bond with Tai-Nii, that she was able to 'appear' inside of my mind, as long as I had Tai-Nii's crest around my neck.

They don't talk that often, they say that it is because they don't have that much energy at the moment, well, Amy-San doesn't, she said that her power, her ability to be awake, comes from Courage itself.

And because I had decided to wear Tai-Nii's Crest around my neck, by doing so, I had, unknowingly mind you, allowed Amaterasu-San entrance into my mind. Not that I mind, in fact, Amy-San gives Olette-Hime another girl to talk to, not that she didn't have enough friends, and Apollo-San is a decent person to hold conversations with.

But now we get back to the day, after walking for what feels like hours, then we heard Biyomon-San weakly ask, "Sora-San, can you carry me?"

I turned to the two of them and watched as Sora-San slowly turned to her partner and weakly said, "Not even."

"A crew cut would look nice on you, and it's cooler." Tentomon-San told Izzy-San, saying that Izzy-San would do good with a haircut. But Izzy-San's only reply was to weakly rub his head in exhaustion.

I heard everyone's complaint, and I wasn't doing any better, I turned to Olette-Hime and saw that she had a bright smile on her face, and wasn't even sweating, while Rouge-San seemed to be sleeping.

"How are you two not affected by this heat? It's like walking on the sun for crying out loud!" I asked my girlfriend and Rouge-San in confusion.

Olette-Chan looked at me and smiled, then she said, "I don't really have a physical form, Koi. I may be able to interact with objects, but I am not effected by exhaustion or heat, you know that."

I slowly nodded, knowing that, for whatever reason, no matter how hot the heat was, Hime never even sweated, neither did she ever get hungry, or thirsty, or even tired.

Olette-Hime was a mystery. I loved her to death, but there were many things that I couldn't understand about her. But, if she was able to accept me for who I am, and not who I was, then I could do the same for her?

We haven't given up on figuring out her past, far from it, but we chose to focus on the present, instead of driving ourselves crazy by focusing on the past. If we were to find out some clues along the way that could help us out, we'll try to decipher whatever clue that would be. But, besides that random mess of words that I have yet to decipher from the giant battery, we have had zero clues as to the origins of her past. Not even any cliché memory flashbacks that always lead to clues about amnesiacs past. So, basically, we're still at square one.

Then, I turned towards the Lustful Cat, a friend on a good day, and the number one leading cause of headaches, twitching eyes, and a literal demon on a bad day, and I asked her, "Yeah? But what about you, Rouge-San? You should be dying right about now?"

Rouge-San looked up at me with that board look on her face, and in a tired voice, she said, "You forget who you're talking to, peasant. I fought against the Royal Knights before you kids were even thought of being chosen as DigiDestined. This heat is nothing, Emo-Sama."

Rouge-San, unlike Olette-Hime, was the one who always found a way to get under everyone's skin, except Olette-Chan, and that is probably because of some unknown girl thing, that or, Rouge just can't seem to find anything about my girlfriend to make fun of. And besides Olette-Chan being too nice for Rouge to poke fun of, which, while unlikely, is still a strong possibility, that, as uh, creative, as Rouge-San is, she probably just hasn't come up with a nickname/insult. But that is besides the point, we all just agreed that, no matter what she says, to just ignore her insults. We'll be a lot happier that way.

After walking for what feels like forever, we came to a stop and I heard Mimi-San said, "I haven't sweated this much since cheerleader tryouts."

Then Tai-Nii looked down sadly at his partner and said, "Koromon-San doesn't look so good. I'm worried."

I looked back towards my partner and asked, "Yo, Dori-San, how are you holding up?"

Dorimon-San opened his eyes, and in a voice filled with exhaustion, he said, "Alive, but barely."

Then Palmon-San was starting to breath heavily, then she weakly said, "You know what we need right now is a whole bunch of shade. A big umbrella or a really big tree, or maybe I could grow into a giant cactus and smile down on all of you as I provide cool, refreshing comfort."

Then we all crashed into the ground in exhaustion and Matt-San replied with, "It's official. The sun has just turned Palmon-San's brain into a french fry."

I weakly nodded and said, "Yeah, she obviously forgot that none of us had eaten in a while, so no one can Digivolve at the moment."

Then we all saw something in the distance, and Matt-San said, "Earth to Palmon-San, come in."

Then we all looked in front of Palmon-San and saw a huge cactus, then Mimi-San said, "Palmon-San, look."

We all gasped in shock, then I said, "That is one huge cactus."

"Wowie! I did that?" Palmon-San asked in amazement. "Gee, I'm pretty awesome!" She then did a pose. I guess that humility wasn't in Palmon-San's vocab.

Then Tai-Nii then stood up and cheerfully said, "Yeah, you better believe it, Palmon-San. Come on, everybody. Let's head for some shade."

Then we all ran towards the giant cactus, but one we got to the cactus, we didn't see any kind of shade at all. "Wait a minute." I said to everyone.

"What happened to the shade?" Tai-Nii asked all of us in confusion.

Then we all watched in horror at the cactus vanished into thin air. "Ugh, not a bloody mirage! You have got to be kidding me!" I exclaimed in annoyance, while slamming my fists into the ground.

"We've been tricked by the desert heat." Matt-San exclaimed in disbelief.

Then we all fell to our knees, in exhaustion and defeat. Then Tai-Nii looked to me and asked, "Hey, Otouto? You think you can whip up some shade by moving the earth for us?"

I rolled my eyes in annoyance and sarcastically said, "Oh, what a great idea, Ani. Why didn't I think of that?"

Then I turned to glare at Ani and in an annoyed tone, I seriously said, "Oh, wait. I know! It's because I have no freaking idea how to use my powers to begin with! If I knew, then I would have created us some shade an hour ago, Tai-Baka!" I swear, sometimes I think Ani just forgets to use his brain.

"You think that I would let us all suffer if I couldn't create some shade for all of us!?" I said the last part with anger and fury at Nii-Baka for even thinking that I would just let everyone melt to death if I couldn't avoid it.

Then Olette-Chan floated in between us, her arms raised, as if to stop us from fighting and she said, "Now, now. This is not the time to be fighting, you two. We all need to just calm down and rest for a bit."

I took a deep breath, calming my nerves, then I smiled and said, "You're right, Hime. Now is not the time to be fighting."

Tai-Nii nodded and he looked towards me and said, "Right, Imouto." Nii-San then looked towards me and, "I'm sorry, Otouto. I guess I had let the heat get to me."

I nodded, understanding how exhausted everyone might be, then I said, "It's alright, Ani. I know."

Then, we all heard a familiar, old man's voice call out, "Well, well, it's about time you got here." We all looked ahead to see one of those holographic imagers appeared, then an aged old voice said, "I was just about ready to give up on you kids."

Then Gennai-San appeared, and I exclaimed, "It's Gennai-San!"

Tai-Nii then looked Gennai and said, "Gennai-San, we found the Tags and a couple of Crests like you wanted, but when we got into trouble, our Digimon couldn't Digivolve. They ended up worse off than when they started. Take a look at Agumon-San and Dorumon-San. They're not themselves, and me and Luke-Otouto are supposed to be helping them."

Then I sighed in exhaustion, Ani missed spoken for me, and I wanted to clarify what he was saying, to I looked towards him, and said, "Ani, I told you this before, Doru-San and Agumon-San used up so much energy when they went into their Ultimate Forms, that it caused them to revert to their lower levels."

I gave the two Crests that were hanging around my neck a quick glance, thinking about the two spirits who now resides inside my mind, as Olette-Chan had, what felt like a lifetime ago.

Then I once more looked towards Ani, and I said, "And besides, if you hadn't been brash, and reckless, then you wouldn't have turned Agu-San into SkullGreymon, and you wouldn't have been taken over by your own darkness."

Then Mimi-San looked at the elderly digital entity and said, "Well, I think those thingies are more trouble than their worth!"

Then Gennai-San waved his hands in a motion that could only be seen as a gesture meant to get us to settle down, and he said, "Calm down, kids. Let me explain."

At that moment, Gennai-San had everyone's attention, both kids and Digimon, Rouge-San included, though, her expression was clear as crystal, she couldn't care less what Gennai-San would say, but, she listened nonetheless.

"The Tags and Crests are extremely important." Stated Gennai-San. Then he looked towards me and asked, "Now than, Luke-San, do you know which ones have been obtained so far?"

Everyone looked towards me and I nodded, knowing that this, at least, should be stated, and I said, "Yes, I do." I started listing the Crests that we have, "So far, we have my Crest Of Protection, Ani's Crest Of Courage, and Joe-San's Crest Of Reliability."

Gennai-San nodded at this, accepting this answer, and he said, "So, three down. But there are still five more to find. Please make sure that no one else gets ahold of them." Gennai-San then looked towards Nii-San, and he asked, "By the way, Tai-San, where is your Tag and Crest?"

Nii-San looked down sadly at Koromon-San and solemnly said, "I don't deserve it. I forced Koromon-San to Digivolve and we both ended up losing ourselves to our own darkness, if it wasn't for Luke-San, we would have seriously harmed our friends, or even worse."

The sad and depressed tone of Ani's voice spoke volumes of how he was feeling right now. "So, I gave my Tag and Crest to Otouto, seeing how he had managed to make Dorumon-San reach the next level, without hurting anyone." Ani said to the Digital entity.

Gennai-San looked towards me and asked, "Luke-San, is this true?"

I nodded and lifted up both Tags and Crests to Gennai-San and said, "Hai. Every word of it, Gennai-San. But there is something I want to know."

Gennai-San gave me a single nod, letting me know that he was listening, then he asked, "And what is that Luke-San?"

"The spirits of our Crests? Just what are they?" I asked in the most serious voice I could muster. This is something that I want answered.

Gennai-San looked at me for a long time, then he said, "The spirits of the Crests, are in a way, a fragment of yourselves. A small piece of yourselves that you have hidden away in your souls. Brought out by embracing that which Crest you have been given."

I literally saw the lightbulb turn on above Izzy-San's head as he asked, "So, that means that each Crest has its own spirit, then? Prodigious!"

Gennai-San nodded and said, "Yes. This is the reason why your Crests will only work for you, and only you, because they are, in a way, a part of you. That is why you must make sure that no one else gets a hold of them. In the end, you shall see that they will work together to help create total harmony."

We were all confused at this, and had a unanimous, "Huh?"

Then Mimi-San, the most confused out of us all, then raised her hand and asked, "Can you run that by us again, in English, this time?"

Gennai-San didn't bother simplifying anything, instead he simply said, "Just trust me. After all, I'm the floating, glowing guy. As for Koromon-San, he wouldn't be so helpless if you had known how to care for him. And for Dorimon-San, it is as Luke-San said, he used up a lot of his power, give him time, and he will be back to his old self again."

Then Tai-Nii quickly looked up towards Gennai-San and said, "But I did the best I could."

But Gennai-San shook his head and said, "Patience is what you need to learn my friend, and you will learn it in time."

Then Nii-San slammed his fist into the ground and impatiently said, "But I want to have Agu-San back now!"

I then gently placed my hand on Ani's shoulder and Tai-Nii's head shot up and he looked right at me, and I shook my head, then I said in my most serious voice I could muster, "Ani, that impatience, and recklessness is the reason why you failed to use your Crest in the first place. You are not using your head. You try to get to your destination as fast as you can, without taking your time to remember the big picture."

Nii-San looked at me in confusion, then he asked, "The big picture?"

I nodded and said, "Yes. You forget that it's the journey, not the destination that is important. You failed too see the forest for the trees. It's not where you've been or where you're going. What is important is where you are now."

Tai-Nii continued to look at me in confusion, with his right eyebrow raising then he asked, "What does any of that even mean, Luke-Chan?"

I sighed in annoyance, both at that stupid childish nickname for me, and me having to explain myself further. But I had to remind myself that these kids are just that, kids. They probably don't really understand some philosophical meanings that I have grown to enjoy throughout my years.

So, instead of getting angry, I instead clarified what I had meant, and said, "In other words, you need to stop focusing on the end goal, and instead enjoy the journey that gets you there. That is what I am trying to say, Ani."

Gennai-San nodded, then he said, "I'm starting to lose my connection. How to get Agumon-San and Dorumon-San back is something you're going to have to figure out on your own. Good luck."

Ani quickly turned towards the ancient digital entity and exclaimed, "Wait a minute!"

But Gennai-San was vanishing, but, before he was gone completely, he said, "Sorry. I'm on a tight schedule." And with that, he was gone.

Then Tai-Nii looked down in defeat and said, "It never fails. Every time I need to know about something, he hangs me out to dry." He then clenched his hands into fists, and he slammed his fist into the sand in anger.

I looked to my Nii-San with sympathy, then I said, "Ani, you need to understand, not everything is going to be explained to you. Why do you think I don't tell you guys what may or may not happen?"

Everyone looked at me with wide eyes, then Matt-San asked, "So, there are things that you can't tell us, or won't?"

I looked at the elder Ishida and said, "Both. Some things are best learned on your own, and there are some things that can't be explained so easily. Do you understand? If I were to tell you guys what is to happen, then you will never learn the lessons you need to learn by experiencing them."

Tai-Nii looked at me with an expression that looked to be either betrayal or realization, and he asked, "So, you knew what I was going to do, then, right, Otouto?"

I looked my Nii-San dead in the eyes and said, "Yes, but in case you forgotten, I did try to stop you, multiple times, but you didn't listen, and look where that got you. You need to be cautious about your actions and think about what consequences they may cause."

Tai-Nii then looked at me and said, "Yeah? Well, what about you jumping in front of that attack aimed at everyone else? Wasn't that being reckless?"

I sighed in defeat, then I said, "The difference between what I did, and what you did is the reasoning behind it. You just wanted to get Greymon-San to Digivolve into the Ultimate level. Whereas I was willing to give my life for my friends."

Sora-San looked at me in shock, then with concern in her voice, she asked, "But, why? Why throw yourself into danger like that?"

I looked at each and every person and Digimon around me than I said, "Because, that is what a true protector, what a true friend would do. Lay down their lives for the ones they care for." I gripped my Crest Of Protection and said, "Sometimes, the greatest heroes, are not the ones who defeat every opponent they're up against, but the ones who lay down their lives for the innocent. The needs of the many outweighs the needs of the few. If anything were to happen to any of you, and I could have done something to save you, that would hang over my head for the rest of my life and would be a constant reminder that I never did enough. And, if that were to happen, I..." I closed my eyes tightly and turned my head in pain at thinking of what would happen.

Then I felt a pair of arms wrap around me. I opened my eyes and saw that Olette-Hime had wrapped her arms around me and was smiling at me with the brightest smile I have ever saw, then she said, "Luke-Koi, you are a true protector. You do not care for the safety of yourself, and instead worry about others. That is what makes you a great friend. But you must remember, you don't have to fight alone. We're here for you if you need us. And we will never let anything happen to us. And I will always be by your side, forever. As your friend, as your girlfriend, and that is an oath I will keep until the end."

She then lightly kissed me on the lips, and then smiled as she said, "No matter what, you are never truly alone. Remember that, Koi."

I smiled, then I chuckled and said, "Heh, here we are trying to get Ani to cheer up, and now I'm the one who needs a reality check, funny. Thanks, O-Chan, I needed that."

Then I heard Biyomon-San ask Gabumon-San, "Are we being cared for properly?"

To which Gabumon-San replied with, "If we were, then Agu-San and Dorumon-San wouldn't have Digivolved backwards."

To which Matt-San turned to his partner in shock and replied, "Hey, come on! Don't freak me out!"

Sadly, Izzy-San looked down at his computer and sadly said, "I'm better with computers."

To which Tentomon-San quickly said, "That's ridiculous. As far as I'm concerned, you're the best."

I then turned to everyone and saw how sad and depressed they all are, then I said, "Guys, look..." But before I could even finish my sentence, we all heard something.

I turned to look behind me and asked, "Uh, what's that noise?" When I looked my eyes widened at the sight of a huge ship coming right at us. Then I said, "Uh, guys...we should run. Like, now!"

Then my Ani asked, "Is that a battleship!?"

But Sora-San, not really believing that there was a ship heading straight for us, and she said, "Could be, but it looks more like a fancy cruise ship."

"The passengers will want their money back when they see this place." Stated Joe-San in a voice of disbelief.

"It could just be a mirage." Stated the ever optimistic Takashi-Kun.

But, knowing that this was far from a mere illusion, I took a running position and said, "I don't think so!"

Then Yamato-San looked towards me and asked, "Yeah? Looks pretty real to me!"

Then I asked in a slightly frightened tone, "So why are we just standing around here like a bunch of idiots? RUN!" And at that, we all started running, or in Olette-Hime's case, flying like bats out of hell.

Then the ship stopped in front of us, and a voice called out, "Ahoy!"

"Numemon!" Me and Mimi exclaimed in shock, and in Mimi's case, fear.

I smiled at our one-time ally, another time enemy, then I heard Koromon-San crying, then I heard Tai-Nii ask, "Hey, fella, could all of us come aboard and freshen up?"

I nodded, knowing that rest and relaxation is what we all needed and said, "Yeah? Permission to come aboard, captain?"

But Numemon-San backed away, then I watched as Mimi-San cheerfully walked in front of us and said, "If you boys don't mind, this needs a woman's touch." Then Mimi-San asked in a sweet voice, "Well, hey, there, big boy."

I had to give Mimi-San credit, what she was doing has to be the most impressive thing I have ever seen Mimi-San do so far. "Your ship looks so so inviting. How about letting us on board so that we can check it out?" She then made an adorable look, but I still think my Hime is still more cuter than that, but I won't say anything, this is Mimi-San we're talking about, after all. Mimi then said, "Oh, please, hmm?"

And that was what did it. We all watched as the Numemon captain fell under Mimi-San's charm. I just shook my head and chuckled and softly said, "That Mimi-San. She really has a way with Digimon, don't she?"

We all watched as the bridge was lowered for us to climb aboard. Olette-San softly giggled and said, "You have to give her credit, it worked, didn't it?"

Then Joe-San began looking up and down at the ship in concern, then he asked, "Is it safe?"

I chuckled at Joe-San's question, but, instead of being sarcastic, I instead said, "Does it matter? We can get out of the sun now. Let's go!"

And pretty soon, we were all on board the luxury cruiser, but when we got to the dining area, Mimi-San said, "What, no linen tablecloths? Well, I guess we can rough it."

I rolled my eyes and said, "Mimi-San, don't ask for more, just be happy that we're out of the desert sun."

And soon we found different rooms with cleaning areas, which Sora-San and Mimi-San quickly took full advantages of. While the rest of us filled our stomachs. "Check out the incredible spread." Said Matt-San, almost drooling at the sight of all the food in front of us.

"It appears to be highly edible." Our local genius said. It was clear to see that food was on his mind.

But, while they talked about the food, I was sitting next to Olette-Chan eating. I have to say, I am glade to finally have something in my stomach, that is not just fruits. "Ah! Now this is a meal!" I said with a smile clear on my face.

I heard Olette-Hime giggling, and I turned to her, to see that she was chowing down as well, then I asked with a smile, "Hey, since when did you start eating, O-Hime?" It was just a light joke, but I was surprised at this myself.

Olette-Hime gave me a cheeky grin and said, "Just because I don't really need to eat, doesn't mean I can't, Koi."

I smiled at her, then I noticed something on her face, and I said, "Maybe, but you want to make sure that you always wipe your mouth after eating. You have a little something on the side of your face." Olette-Hime went to get it, but I said, "Please, allow me." I then placed my thumb on her cheek and wiped off the left-over food, then I said, "There we go. Nothing to ruin that beautiful face of yours."

Olette-Chan blushed brightly, and we were both simply happy to be enjoying this simple moment, that was, however, until Matt-San groaned and said, "Ugh, do you two always have to be like this?"

I looked at Matt-San with a raised eyebrow and I asked, "Like what?"

To which, he replied with, "Like a bunch of lovesick puppies. Can't you two just give it a break for a single day?"

Hearing this me and Olette-Chan looked at one another, and lightly blushed in embarrassment, then we both started giggling and, while rubbing our heads we said, "Gomen'nasai, Matt-San." But both of hardly ever meant it, and Matt-San seemed to know this as well, because I watched as he rolled his eyes.

Then, before Matt-San could respond with some sarcastic response, Izzy-San looked towards Matt-San and he asked, "Remember when the food was just an illusion?"

To which Matt-San looked at him skeptically and asked, "Another alien plot?"

I chuckled, and I said, "Instead of talking about me and O-Hime here, why don't you guys just dig in. Trust me, the food is real. Right, Dorimon-San?" I didn't get an answer, and I asked, "Right, Dori-San? Dorimon-San?" I turned to where my partner should be and found him gouging himself in the food I sweat-dropped and said, "Well, it looks like Dori-San may have taken on a bit of my old appetite."

Olette-Hime looked over and giggled at Dorimon-San, then she glanced over and said, "Looks like he's not the only one, Koi."

Confused at what she meant, I looked at her in confusion, then she pointed to a part of the table and when I looked, my mouth dropped.

There was Rouge, who, while she may be sarcastic and a bit, sadistic, she was always a well-mannered Digimon. But seeing her scoff down food like there was no tomorrow, that was something I would never be able to forget as long as I live. Then I had to dodge flying food from the others.

I looked at them and said, "Do you guys mind? Have some manners. Yeesh!" But, of course, they just kept on eating. I turned to Olette-Chan and asked, "You want to go to the pool, Hime?"

Olette-Chan smiled brightly at me and happily said, "Sure!"

I smiled, then I remembered something and asked, "You wouldn't happen to have a bathing suit, would you?" I deeply blushed when I realized what had just came out of my mouth. "To go swimming in, I mean." I corrected myself. 'Baka! Baka! Baka! Don't you dare think of anything perverted, Luke-Baka!' I silently yelled at myself. Trying so hard not to become like that pervert, Ero-Sannin. But, somewhere from deep in my mind, I could have sworn I heard the phrase, "I am not a pervert. I AM A SUPER PERVERT!" I only slightly shivered, because that phrase was from one of the more, tame, characters, from Naruto. I am just glade that I didn't hear that haunting word spelled Y-O-U-T-H or else I would be hating sunsets for the rest of my life.

Olette-Chan, thankfully blissfully unaware of my internal fright, simply giggled and said, "Honey, I am sure I can find something to wear. Why don't you go change, and don't worry, I'll let you have some privacy." My face must have lit up like a star at that point. Then when I was going to reply, she was already gone.

I shook my head, then I turned to my friends, only to see them still stuffing their faces. I rolled my eyes and turned to my partner and, trusty demon friend, then I said, "Dori-San, Rouge, me and O-Chan will be at the pool, you two want to come?"

Dorimon-San looked up at me from his plate of food, and, with his mouth still full, he said, "Let me (munch) finish this plate of food, then (munch) I'll be right there."

I nodded, happy to hear that, then I asked, "And Rouge? What about you?"

"Well, I guess I'll come, Edge Lord. Best to keep Dragon Breath here out of trouble." The Black Cat Of Lust told me, without even a care in the world.

I lightly chuckled, with a slight twitch in my right eye, then I said, "Just be careful." I told her. "We don't want to lower our guards to soon now, do we?" I saw that Rouge get a serious look, and I nodded, "Just to be weary. I could just be paranoid. But, after all, it's not like this has ever happened before. I'm sure that we can rest, but I just don't want to be taken by surprise right now. Well, I'll see you up top." Then I went to go get ready for some swimming. Pretty soon I was just wearing my swimming trunks, but I decided to bring my D-Ark, box of Modify Cards, mine and Tai's Tags and Crests, and my Locket.

Then On my way up, I felt Olette-Hime appear right behind me, then she asked, "Well, how do I look?"

I turned around and saw that she was wearing a simply one-piece pink swimsuit, and I also noticed that she had let her hair down out of her usual ponytail, and now, her hair swayed from the gentle breeze that was in the ship. She looked like a goddess in human form, I then weakly said, "Be...beautiful."

Olette-Hime blushed, then she grabbed my hand and pulled me to the deck. After a few minutes of walking, I had managed to get my mind back on track, as we made it to the swimming deck, and saw Joe and Tai already resting on boogie boards, Gomamon-San in the water, and Koromon was on the table under an umbrella. Then I said, "Hey, Joe-San, Tai-Nii!"

The two older boys looked up and they both said, "Hey, Luke-San/ Otouto! Is that, Olette?" The two boy's eyes widened in shock.

I glared at the boys and said, "Keep your eyes to yourself, or I will cut you up." And to strengthen my threat, I reached for my Modify Cards. Not liking the looks my friend and Nii-San were giving my girlfriend.

Tai-Nii and Joe-San quickly raised their hands in surrender, then Tai-Nii said, "Whoa, whoa! No need to do anything hasty, Luke-Otouto. We're all friends here, right?"

Olette-Hime then gently pulled my arm and softly said, "Come on, Luke-Kun, let's just enjoy the water."

I sighed in defeat, and I softly said, "Oh, all right. Let me just put my things down." I walked up to Koro-San and placed the Tags, my Locket and Modify Cards on the table next to him, but, because I was feeling paranoid, I kept one of them and my D-Ark on me. Then I said, "Hey, Koromon-San, Dorimon-San and Rouge will be here soon, they'll keep you company for a while, how does that sound?"

"All right, I guess." Koromon-San replied with a weak, high pitched voice.

My heart ached at seeing him like this. Then I knelt down and softly said, "Don't beat yourself up, Koro-San. Take this mistake and failure, and learn from it. Learning from one's failure makes one stronger. After all, I've made plenty of mistakes, but I still grow from them, so, you should too." It looked like Koromon-San heard me, but he went back to sleep.

I sighed then I joined Olette-Hime in the pool, after who knows how long to be able to relax in water, Devimon-Baka's mansion, and Whamon-San destroying our raft does not count. But, I made sure to keep my Modify Card out of the water, then I said, "Yo, Ani, catch!" My older brother looked up as I threw the card to him and he caught it, then I said, "Just in case something happens, I want you to throw that to me, understand?" Tai-Nii simply nodded, then I smiled and swam to my girlfriend.

We both then just laid back and enjoyed the peaceful tranquility of the pool water, then I heard Ani say, "I'm confused, Joe-San. What do you think Gennai-San meant when he said we weren't taking proper care of our Digimon?"

To which I looked up and watched as Joe-San put a finger on his chin and try to think about it, then he replied with, "Uh, oh I don't know. We've done everything but give them an allowance."

I chuckled softly at this, mostly because they were actually overthinking this, so, I decided to throw my cards in to the ring, so to speak, and I said, "Maybe you're taking it the wrong way. Maybe he meant that you aren't listening to the hearts of your Digimon, Nii-San."

Tai-Nii looked up at me in confusion and he asked, "Hearts of our Digimon? What does that mean?"

I laid back, floating in the water, glazing at the clouds, 'Whoa. Déjà vu.' I thought to myself, than I said, "Well, whenever Dorumon-San fights, I could almost always feel what he's feeling, almost like we are one single being. I feel the pain he feels, the joy he feels. It is like we become one Digimon. I think, what Gennai-Sama is trying to say, is that, to take proper care of your partner, you must first understand your partner. Next time Agumon-San or Gomamon-San fights, try to feel what they feel, try to let your hearts, connect to theirs. Maybe than, by seeing things the way they see it, you can learn how to take proper care of your partners. There is an old saying I like to remember from time to time. Two hearts, one viewpoint."

After those words, the six of us, me, O-Hime, Joe-San, Nii-San, Gomamon-San, and Koro-San all just sat quietly, enjoying the peace and quite that we have long since been denied. But, it was not meant to last.

Ani looked like he wanted to say something, but before he could respond, a large net came out of nowhere and trapped Tai-Nii and Joe-San. But just before I would become next to be trapped, I shouted, "Tai-Nii!" I looked up and saw that it was the Numemon who were responsible for this.

But Tai-Nii was too panicked to even do something, then Koromon-San woke up and exclaimed, "They need me!"

Then just before I could swim to my cards, another net came and trapped me, "Ugh! Ā, sā! What the heck!? Numemon!? What is the meaning of this!?"

Then Tai-Nii shouted out, "What's gotten into you, Numemon!?"

I turned to Olette-Hime and said, "Olette! Go and get Dorimon-San and Rouge, and tell everyone what's happening!"

"But, Luke-Kun..." Olette started. She was clearly worried about me, but this was important. More important then me.

"NOW! Olette, NOW! We'll be fine, but we need more help! Please." I begged her to do this. It was the reason why I didn't bother with honorifics, I had no time.

I could see that Olette-Chan was worried about me, but she still nodded, then she flew vanished for a few seconds, then she returned in her normal clothes, and with her hair all tied up again, then she flew through the boat and she was gone. I kept struggling in the net that had trapped me. I even glanced over to my right arm and thought, 'Okay, let's give this a try.' I concentrated, trying to make my shield appear, but when I opened my eyes, there was nothing.

Then we all watched as the Numemon went after Koromon-San, then Tai-Nii angrily exclaimed, "You better keep your hands off."

Then Koromon-San exclaimed, "Digivolve!"

D-I-G-I-V-O-L-U-T-I-O-N

Then Koromon-San began glowing in a bright light, and Koromon exclaimed, "Koromon Digivolve to... Agumon!" And now, the lovable orange dinosaur was back in action.

"Wow!" Exclaimed Tai-Nii in amazement. "He's back!"

I grunted in frustration as I managed to get my arm out of the net, and I said, "That's great and all, Tai-Nii. But can you please throw me the Card now!?"

Tai-Nii looked down in confusion and said, "Huh?" Then he looked down at the card that was in his hand and he said, "Oh! Right! Catch!"

Tai-Nii then threw the card at me and I caught it. That was when Agumon-San took a deep breath and shouted, "Pepper Breath!" And he unleashed a small ball of fire, but it was blocked by a big white bird.

Then Gomamon-San gasped in surprise as he exclaimed, "That bad egg is Kokatorimon."

Then Kokatorimon-Baka closed his eyes tightly, almost like he has stomach problems, and then he exclaimed, "Petrefier!" He then opened his eyes, and in a flash, he turned both Agumon-San and Gomamon-San into statues.

"Poor Agumon-San!" Tai-Nii exclaimed in shock.

"Gomamon-San! No!" Joe-San cried out in shock.

I gritted my teeth as I heard Kokatorimon-Baka say, "Oh, look, they left me a present." He then picked up the Tags containing the Crests of Courage, Reliability, and Protection, then he said, "You're sunk without these, but I wouldn't bee to upset. Now you've got yourselves a couple of Digimon Garden ornaments."

That was when he ran away with our Crests. Then I gripped my fists, then I said, "Okay, that does it! Activate, Leomon's Beast Sword!" Then the green Modify Card glowed and soon, I was holding the legendary sword of Leomon-San, then I cut myself free, then I did the same with Tai-Nii and Joe-San. Then I said, "After him! We don't want him to get away with our Tags!"

But Ani and Joe-San didn't follow me, instead they looked at their partners, then I said, "Look, if we can take out Kokatorimon, we can get them back to normal, but if he gets away, then we will lose! You guys can stay here if you want, but I'm going after him!" And with that, I started running after the white bird Digimon. That was when I ran into Dorimon, Rouge and Olette.

"""LUKAS-SAN/LUKE-KUN/EMO-SAMA!""" They all shouted at me.

I wanted to smile, but I couldn't, "No time, there's an evil bird Digimon called Kokatorimon, and he's turned Agumon-San and Gomamon-San into statues, then he ran off with our Crests. We need to stop him, now! Dorimon-San, do you have enough energy to Digivolve?"

Dorimon-San smirked as he nodded and said, "Give it to me."

I nodded and raised up my D-Ark and said, "Digivolution, Activate!"

Then Dorimon was engulfed in a bright light, and soon Dorumon-San was standing tall and proud. I smiled, then I said, "Come on, let's go find the others."

Everyone nodded, then we all ran out to the edge of the ship, there we saw Mimi-San and Sora-San, wrapped up in towels running towards us. Then I said, "Girls! Where's Matt and the others?"

But they didn't answer me, and instead, ran right past us, but Sora-San did say, "No time, need to run!"

I nodded then ran in the same direction as they were, but we were stopped by Kokatorimon-Baka, we all gasped, then we all said, "Kokatorimon-Baka!"

"You mean to tell me it's not the Easter Chicken?" Sora-San asked us, and I wasn't certain if she was joking or not.

"He's bad news!" Biyomon-San exclaimed before I even had the opportunity to even speak.

I shook my head and said, "This mon has turned both Agu-San and Gomamon-San into stone."

"Oh, no!" The girls exclaimed in shock and disbelief.

Then Kokatorimon started laughing, and Mimi-San exclaimed, "Luke-San, he's got your Tag!"

Then Sora-San exclaimed, "As well as Tai-San and Joe-San's!"

I gripped my Beast Sword tightly and said, "Yeah, he took them when the Numemon trapped us in nets. Luckily, I was paranoid enough to have Ani hold onto one of my Modify Cards, then have him throw it at me when we got caught. But they should have caught up to me by now. Where are our friends, you fowl fiend?" I asked, unknowingly making a joke.

Kokatorimon laughed and said, "Don't get your heads in a spin. They're just drying off. Nothing like little sun baked faces fried to a crisp with curly corn spuds and lots of coleslaw."

My stomach turned at remark. Then Biyomon-San asked, "Where are the Digimon?"

Kokatorimon chuckled darkly and said, "Oh, don't worry about those guys. Confidentially, I find them to be a little on the stiff side, but that just happens to be my personal opinion."

To which Palmon-San glared harshly at the not-so-great chicken replied, "Your opinion stinks."

"Now you're going to meet the same fate! Ha ha ha!" Kokatorimon-Baka said in the usual evil villain laughter cliche.

Then Biyomon-San angrily said, "You've cackled once too often!" She then jumped in the air and shouted, "Spiral Twister!" Releasing her signature green spiral flame attack.

Then Palmon-San decided to join in the fun, and she exclaimed, "Poison Ivy!" Expecting to tie up the giant annoying chicken.

But Kokatorimon-Baka quickly jumped over Biyomon-San's attack and reflected Palmon-San's attack. Then Dorumon-San decided to step up to the plate and he took a deep breath and shouted, "Metal Cannon!" Then he fired off a baseball sized iron sphere at the giant chicken, but Kokatorimon simply deflected it.

That was when Kokatorimon-Baka closed his eyes and exclaimed, "Petrifier!"

My eyes widened in shock at hearing that word and I said, "That's the attack that he used to turn Agumon-San and Gomamon-San to stone! Run!"

And with that, we all started running like mad, then we heard Kokatorimon-Baka call out, "Come back, you chickens!"

Then Sora-San turned to glance at the giant white rooster and she asked, "Whose he calling chicken?"

We all continued running from the deranged Foghorn Leghorn wannabe, but we ended up trapping ourselves th the front end of the ship. Then Sora-San asked, "What do we do now? We're trapped?"

Then Kokatorimon-Baka cawed and said, "Time to walk the plank!"

I smirked and raised my D-Ark and said, "I don't think so. You girls have your Digivices?"

Sora-San and Mimi-San took out their Digivices and nodded, then Sora-San said, "Biyomon, do your stuff!"

D-I-G-I-V-O-L-U-T-I-O-N

Biyomon-San nodded and she exclaimed, "Biyomon, Digivolve to...Birdramon!" And then, before all of us, was a phoenix, ready to roast us up some legs.

Then Kokatorimon-Baka squawked in fear, as he said, "Hey, that's not fair!"

I smirked and said, "Life's not fair. And allow me and Doru-San to give you a hand in understanding that. DigiModify, Leomon's Fist of the Beast King, Activate! Fist Of The Beast King, Activate!"

Then Dorumon's right arm began glowing in a bright orange, while my right hand began glowing as well. Then Birdramon-San exclaimed, "Meteor Wing!" And fired off several small flaming meteors.

But Kokatorimon-Baka dodged it. I smirked at seeing this big bird dance, then Sora-San asked, "What's the matter, you big cluck? You can't fly?"

Mimi-San then turned to her partner then said, "Palmon-San, it's your turn."

I looked to Dorumon-San and smiled as I said, "Doru-San, you as well."

The two Digimon nodded then both me and Mimi-San raised our Digivices and I exclaimed, "Digivolution, Activate!"

D-I-G-I-V-O-L-U-T-I-O-N

"Palmon Digivolve to...Togemon!"

"Dorumon Digivolve to...Dorugamon!"

And soon, the Phoenix was joined by the boxing cactus and the black dragon-wolf, all looking down at Kokatorimon-Baka angrily, and they were soon joined by Rouge.

I smirked, then I cracked my knuckles and neck and then I said, "What's the matter? Not so tough now that you are going up against Digimon of equal level, are you?"

Birdramon-San then exclaimed, "Meteor Wing!" And fired off several balls of fire at the big old bird. Who reacted by throwing the three Crests out of his wings.

I smirked, then I said, "I got this. HyperChip, Activate!" And then I felt that amazing adrenaline that I have come to enjoy, then I said, in a very tongue-and-cheek notion, "Beep beep!" And then I dashed at the Crests and picked them up, just as Togemon-San unleashed a Needle Spray. I saw it coming, but with HyperChip, it was like I was watching it in slow motion. Then I simply dodge each and every last needle, and was standing next to the girls and said, "How's that for speed?" I asked with a smirk.

No one answered me, which was fine, because we got to see Kokatorimon-Baka get hit by a bunch of Needles. I then placed the Crests around my neck at the moment, and I saw that my Crest began glowing. Then I looked towards Rouge, and saw her fists glowing in darkness, then she said, "Phantom Punch!" She then unleashed a royal beat down onto Kokatorimon-Baka.

As she kept on laying the beatdown onto the old goose, both Sora-San and Mimi-San flinched slightly, and Sora-San said, "Ooh. She's brutal."

I lightly chuckled at that remark and said, "Yeah? That's nothing. Dorugamon-San! You up for a tag team?"

Dorugamon-San looked at me and smirked, then he said, "Always, Luke-San."

I appeared right next to him and said, "Rouge! Get out of the way!"

Rouge looked towards me, and nodded, she then left, but not without delivering one final punch to a place where not even I would be able to get back up from. It took all my willpower not to react outwardly. That would be the only time I would ever feel sympathy for my opponent. Then, after deciding to put the poor Digimon out of his misery, me and Dorugamon-San nodded, and we both drew our fits back, and together, we shouted, "Fist Of The Beast King!" And together, we unleashed Leomon-San's most iconic attack at Kokatorimon-Baka, sending him flying into the chimney of the ship. Only to be launched out of it a second later.

Then Mimi-San cheerfully threw her fist into the air as she said, "Oh, I just love fried chicken!"

I smiled as I sniffed the air then I said, "So do I. And with him gone, the Digimon should be back to normal. Why don't you girls go and put some clothes on, and I'll go untie our friends."

Then both Sora-San and Mimi-San looked down at their towels and blushed, then I waved my hands in surrender as I said, "Girls, I am respectful, plus, I already have a girlfriend."

Then I jumped on Dorugamon-San's back and said, "Let's go, Doru-San!" But then I felt someone jump on my back, I turned and saw that Rouge had jumped onto my back. "Any particular reason why you're on my back, Rouge? Or are you just too lazy to walk?"

Rouge looked at me with a strange mischievous smirk on her face and she said, "I just want to see Mister Complainer all tied up for once."

I sighed at this. Yes, I poke fun od Joe-San a lot, but I still see him as a good friend, just wish that he would chill out for once, then I said, "You really need to be more nicer to Joe-San, Rouge."

But Rouge simply chuckled and said, "I am being nice, I just want to see him like this."

I rolled my eyes then I said, "Dorugamon-San, let's go."

Dorugamon-San nodded, and soon we were untying our friends from their trap and Sora-San and Mimi-San had joined us, wearing their clothes now. Then we all watched as the Numemon abandoned ship. Saying things like, "We're out of here! Shore leaves for the whole crew! It's every Numemon for himself!"

Then Tai-Nii looked over the edge with a satisfactory smile as he said, "I say we do the same as they are and abandon ship."

Then Izzy-San nodded as he said, "I guess it's a little late for a mutiny."

Then Sora-San smiled as she said, "Don't worry. The captain's already been fricasseed."

And with that, I said, "Well, why don't we stop wasting time and abandon ship?" Everyone nodded then we ran for the bridge and left the ship. And here we were, right back where we started. Walking through the desert with no sign of shade.

Then Joe-San, in an exhausted voice, said, "Well, the weather sure hasn't gotten any cooler."

Then Rouge glared at Joe-San and in an annoying voice, she said, "And your time baking in the sun sure hasn't made you any less of a wet blanket, but do you hear us complaining?"

Then Mimi-San looked around as she asked, "Wait. Do you guys hear something?"

We all turned around and saw the cruise ship was heading right for us. I then yelled, "It's Déjà vu all over again! Run! Now!" And that is what we did. Started running for our lives trying to outrun a cruise ship in the middle of the desert.

We kept running and running, then Matt-San said, "That's one mad Digimon with his feathers out of joint!"

"Yeah, figures these guys don't know when to quit!" I said while running for my life.

As we were running, Mimi-San spotted something ahead of us and she said, "Oh, look!" We looked up and it really seemed like this mornings incidents were having an encore.

Because, as Palmon-San pointed out, "The giant cactus is back!"

And Mimi-San groaned in annoyance, as she said, "Oh, no! Not another mirage!"

Then Tai-Nii asked in a panicked tone, "Well, what were you expecting, an outlet mall?"

Then Matt-San decided to test our luck as he said, "Hurry! Get over on the other side!" And so, we kept running, and we soon took shelter behind the cactus, preying to whatever would listen to us that the ship would be stopped.

And soon, the ship hit the cactus head on, and was then flung off into the distance, with Kokatorimon-San holding onto the steering wheel. And soon, the ship just, exploded, for no reason that I could tell, then I said, "Well, talk about going out with a bang."

After the giant birdie was sent flying, Mimi-San and Palmon-San were left in awe by the size of the giant cactus. "Wow!" Mimi-San exclaimed in wonder. "It's even bigger than a skyscraper!"

To which Palmon-San replied with the same tone of wonder, "You're right. What's a skyscraper, Mimi-San?"

Then we all watched as the top of the cactus began glowing, and Olette-Hime said, "Look up there! Check it out, you guys!"

We all watched in awe as a pink flower suddenly bloomed over the cactus. And out of the flower, came a stone tablet with the symbol of a teardrop engraved on it. We were all amazed at the sight, and Mimi-San asked, "What's that?"

Then the floating stone looked down and then my Ani said, "Maybe it's a crest."

I nodded, agreeing with Tai-Nii's hypothesis and said, "And you'll be right Tai-Nii, Mimi-San, if you would raise up your Tag, please."

Mimi-San looked at me in surprise and asked, "That's my Crest?" And to answer her question, her Tag raised up into the air and started glowing in a vibrant grass green. Then everyone started panicking.

I simply chuckled at everyone's panic, like the Crest would actually crush us, and I said, "Relax."

Then the stone tablet began glowing and started falling, while at the same time, shrinking, then it inserted itself into Mimi-San's Tag. Then Sora-San said, "He was right. It's just like Gennai said. The Tags and Crests somehow work together, Mimi."

Mimi-San then looked down at her Crest, which looked either like a teardrop, or a leaf and said, "Oh?"

I smiled and genuinely said, "It's called the Crest Of Sincerity, Mimi-San."

Mimi-San looked like surprised, then she said in an almost confused voice, she said, "The Crest Of Sincerity. The Crest of Nature. The Crest...Of The Fairy?"

We all looked at Mimi-San in confusion, then Mimi-San looked down and sadly said, "I don't deserve it. But if it'll help me take care of Palmon, I'll keep it."

I then placed my hand on Mimi-San's shoulder and said, "Always remember this, as long as you remain true to yourself, and honest to others, you will always remain sincere."

Mimi-San looked at me in confusion, but she still nodded, then Palmon-San, touched by her partners words, said, "Aw, thanks, Mimi-San."

But Mimi-San then said, "But I'm going to have to teach you some manners. Do you know you slurp when you eat soup? But don't worry a single leaf on that pretty head."

We all laughed at Mimi-San's antics. Then I turned to Tai-Nii and handed him his Crest, Ani looked at me in confusion, then I said, "Nii-San, listen, you may not think you're ready, but, if you ask me, that is not true at all. Amaterasu-San doesn't blame you, Agumon-San doesn't blame you. And I sure as hell don't blame you. So, why don't you give yourself a second chance, and wear the Crest Of Courage with pride?"

At first Tai-Nii was a bit reluctant, then I gave him a genuine smile and said, "The best way to move forward and conquer your fear, is to take the first step and accepting who you are. Can you do that, Tai-Nii?"

My brother was nervous, but then he nodded, and he placed that Crest back around his neck, then he said, "I'll try to use this Crest with the best of my abilities, Luke-Chan. I promise."

I smiled at this, while trying not to twitch uncontrollably, then I said, "That is all that could ever hope for. You trying your best."

And so, Mimi-San obtained her Crest of Sincerity, sure she is a bit of a klutz, but she is still a genuine and sincere girl. So her Crest fits her. And Tai-Nii has decided to wear his Crest once again, but I can still see that he is hesitant to use it. Can Tai-San conquer his fears? Only time will tell. So stick around for the next chapter of Digimon New Life!

Thechaosmaster: And there we have it. Another Chapter down, and another Crest obtained. Tai has decided to give himself another shot at the Crest of Courage, but, will he be able to use it properly this time only time will tell. And, in case you guys and girls haven't noticed, Olette seems to be able to interact with the world more and more each chapter. Is there a reason for this? You'll have to wait and see. And, we only have four or five more chapters to go until we get to a chapter that you have all been waiting for. But, I won't waist any more time here. See you all next time.

Thechaosmaster: And here we go. Nothing to big has changed. But, anyways, the Poll. As many have most likely figured out, each weapon has something to do we the elements the kids posses, but Luke only has a Crossbow. But, I was thinking of giving him a weapon that works with his element. I won't say when it will happen, but, I need advice. So, the weapons are these. A massive warhammer the size of Luke's body, or shotgun Gauntlets. Think Yang's weapons from RWBY. Which sounds better. Let me know through the poll, or, if you want Luke to keep the crossbow, let me know in the reviews. Well, that is all I'm gonna say here. Happy New Year!
