Kurivolt: Yeah, but you really need to stop with these late uploads, they're going to one day kill you. And I really like being here for the opening and closing of these stories.

Thechaosmaster chuckles: Yeah, yeah. I'm sorry, about that. Now then, I bet you are all wondering where I have been since my last update, well, I'll be honest, I have been trying to figure out what I should be updating in story progress, first I tried getting back to DigiHearts, but I couldn't do it. Then I got to A Brave New Adventure, and while I got quite a few things added to the next chapter, I just couldn't finish it. So, I decided to bite the bullet, and return to this story, now then, I would like to apologize for making all of you readers wait so long for this chapter, I was just having a terrible case of Authors Block, and that beast wouldn't go down without a fight. But I am back now, so no need to Biomerge with your Digimon partners and send me to the Dark Ocean. Also, I want to say, congratulations, to all of you guys! Because of you all, this story now has over 100 reviews, and it is great to see such love for this story. Well, I've rambled enough, I'll continue more at the closing notes. Kurivolt, if you please?

Blossom: You being late again.

Chaos: Kuso, Baka Blossom! What have I told you about respecting me?

Blossom: Not my fault that you kept getting distracted. So, what is the reason this time?

Chaos grumbles: Okay, first thing is this; I got distracted by another game, this one being Risk Of Rain 2, and for those who have played it, it is very addicting. Another thing is, I have done it, I have watched all of the Tri movies, except for the last evolution, mostly because I couldn't find it on YouTube, where I watched the Tri Movies. Also, I watched the very thing that I said I wasn't going to watch.

Blossom: And what was that, Boss?

Chaos: The Digimon Reboot. And boy, was I surprised! I haven't enjoyed a series as much as that, except maybe for Seven Deadly Sins, but, *shudders* and note, I watched it in its sub version on Hulu. The entire first season, all 35 episodes are on there, and I watched it, in one day. Well, I watched the first four episodes late the night before, then yesterday I watched every episode. *Shudders again* I want to rant about it, but I won't not in this chapter, if you guys want me to rant about what I thought of the series in the next update, let me know. I had also watched The Last evolution, and man, I want to cry right now. Until then, here is the new and improved updated chapter of Enter Piximon!

Chapter 16: Enter Piximon

After crossing what felt like the thirteenth freaking desert while trying to avoid Mr. Rock 'N' Roll and his annoying Dark Network, a luxury cruiser almost ran us over. When we first got on board, everything was all fine and dandy, but that was when we found out the ship was a trap for us, set up by Kokatorimon-Baka. He used his Petrefier and turned quite a few of our Digimon to stone. But, after running into the girls, we were able fry the chicken. After we got off the boat, however, the great chicken decided to try to ram us with his boat. That was when a giant cactus came out of nowhere, it then sent Kokatorimon-Baka flying, and the cactus soon released Mimi-San's Crest Of Sincerity. Man! Why can't we go one day in the Digital World without running into problems?

We have been walking through the unbearable desert for what felt like forever, then Tai-Nii said, "Okay, I admit a little breeze would be nice, but it's still a beautiful day, don't you think?"

Then I heard Agumon-San weakly say, "Yeah, maybe for a scorpion."

I nodded and with the slightest hint of sarcasm, I said, "Yeah, or for a Meramon. Ani, I'm glad to see you're enjoying this, but can you tone down your cheerfulness at the moment? It's like, ten thousand degrees out here."

Olette-Hime lightly giggled at me, then she turned to me and said, "You know, it is good to see Tai-Nii back to his normal, impatient self, Luke-Kun. Let him have his fun."

I sighed at hearing this, knowing that she was right and all, and I scratched the back of my head and said, "Yeah, maybe you're right, Aisuru. But still, sometimes I feel like hitting Ani-Baka with the backside of The Beast Sword, maybe that will get him to chill out. And if it knocks him out, well, at least I can get some peace and quiet for a while." Olette-Hime lightly giggled at my annoyance, and I sent her a slight glare, while she gave me an all too innocent smile. I just rubbed my head, sometimes I don't even know what I'm doing any more.

Then I heard Mimi-San's mystified voice say, "It's beautiful, isn't it, Joe-San? Every Crest we've found so far has been different." I looked up and saw her admiring her Crest Of Sincerity. "From Luke-San's Crest Of Protection, to your Crest Of Reliability, each one is beautiful in their own way."

Joe-San nodded in agreement, but he placed his right hand over his chin in a thinking pose, then he said, "Yeah-But we need to learn how to use them."

"Or else our Digimon could Digivolve all messed up, right?" Sora-San added in her two cents. "Isn't that right, Luke-San? After all, you're the only one here who, both knows what our Crests are, and the only one who has successfully Digivolved your partner with no draw backs."

I nodded in agreement and said, "That is true and all. But remember, you can all Digivolve your partners to the Ultimate Level, just as long as you stay true to yourselves, and your Crest."

"But none of that really matters until we find ALL of the Crests." Matt-San said adding extra emphasis on the word all.

Then Izzy-San walked in front of us and said, "Hmm, I think you're right about that one, Matt-San. Maybe, the Crests power comes from having them all in our possession."

I shook my head, denying that whole factoid, and said, "No, that's not it, Izzy-San." I looked up and saw that everyone was looking at me. I then lifted my Crest Of Protection up, then said, "The power is already there, all it takes is for you to realize that power, the power to allow our Digimon to Digivolve into the Ultimate level, can only be unleashed when you start showing the traits that your Crest represents."

Izzy-San looked at me with an analytical glance and asked, "'Start showing the traits that our Crests represents? 'What do you mean by that, Luke-San?"

Then Takeru-Kun looked like he had an idea of what I was talking about and said, "Well, what if all we have to do is..."

But, before TK-Kun could finish his little idea, we all heard Tai-Nii shout out, "Hey! We gotta move on. If we're gonna take some downtime, we need to find some shade!"

Then TK-Kun turned and waved at that Goggle-Head, and he said, "Uh, thanks Tai-San. We're right in the middle of a serious digiconversation about the Crests and you made me forget what I was saying."

Then I placed my hands on my hips in an annoyed manner and said, "Listen, Taichi, why don't you and Agumon-San find us some shade, we'll catch up to you eventually."

But that was when Tai-Nii and Agumon-San suddenly disappeared into the desert sand. "Ani! Agumon-San!" I shouted out in shock.

"What just happened?" Takashi-Kun asked in shock.

"Something grabbed them from underneath!" Stated Joe-San in a very fearful tone.

I instantly grabbed a Modify Card and took a fighting stance, then I turned to the others and said, "Get ready for anything!"

"Luke-Kun, be careful. I don't like the looks of this." Olette-Hime said to me, already hovering behind me.

I nodded and said in a serious tone, "Don't worry, I'll protect you, that's a promise." And to prove my point, my crest glowed for a fraction of a second, but one could easily mistaken it for the sun reflecting off of it, but I knew better.

Then we saw a familiar looking red four-armed beetle emerging from the sands. "It's Kuwagamon!" Matt-San exclaimed in shock at seeing our first Digimon opponent.

"Anata wa watashi o karakau hitsuyō ga arimasu! I thought we left that guy back on File Island!" I said in both shock and annoyance.

Olette-Hime then floated right next to me then she said, "I think you might have more things to worry about than an old enemy, Luke-Kun. Look! Up on Kuwagamon's pincers!" She then pointed upwards.

I looked up and my eyes widened as I saw that both Tai-Nii and Agumon-San were hanging off of Kuwagamon's pincers. "NII-SAN!" I shouted out in worry.

That was when Kuwagamon launched Tai-San and Agumon-San away. And Tai-Nii and Agumon-San both landed headfirst in the desert sand. Then Izzy-San asked in a fearful tone, "Is that the same one, really?"

Then Palmon-San nodded, and she said, "It's Kuwagamon, all right, there's no mistaking that ugly face. But he's sure is bigger than the last time we saw him."

Just then Agumon-San managed to pull his head out of the sand, then he took a deep breath, and shouted, "Pepper Breath!" And unleashed a ball of fire at Kuwagamon-Baka.

The attack hit Kuwagamon-Baka, but it only succeeded in making him angry. Then Agumon-San flinched away in fear, then he said, "Uh, we have a big problem, thus guy is much stronger than he used to be."

"Oh, no! Now! Digivolve! Agumon-San Digivolve to Greymon-San!" Gabumon-San cried out in concern.

I watched as Tai-Nii slowly got up, and he had a look on his face, almost like he was scared, that was when Tai started running towards Agumon-San while shouting, "Agumon-San, stay away from his choppers!"

Me and Dorumon-San shared looks, then we both nodded, each of us having the same thought, "You ready to Rock 'N' Roll, Dorumon-San?" I asked my partner, but didn't need the answer, as I already knew.

Dorumon-San simply nodded and said, "Let's get this party started, Luke-San."

Then Rouge walked up next to us and she said, "Hope you boys don't mind me joining this fight." She then extended her claws in a feral motion.

I smirked at this semi-psychotic feline and raised up my D-Ark and said, "Wouldn't have it any other way, Rouge. Now than, Doru-San, Digivolve!"

D-I-G-I-V-O-L-U-T-I-O-N

Soon Dorumon-San was engulfed in a bright light, and then, he had became Dorugamon-San, then I raised up three Modify Cards, I swiped one through my D-Ark and said, "DigiModify, Crescemon's Nova Luna, Activate!" Then Dorugamon-San was wielding Crescemon-Sama's massive battle axe and shield. Then I raised the second Modify Card and said, "Crescemon's Dark Archery, Activate! Targeting, Activate!"

Then I had Crescemon's Nova Luna weapons, only for them to combine into a massive Bowgun, then a green device, looking like one of the Scanners from DBZ appeared on my right eye. I locked onto Kuwagamon and said, "Get away from them you..." And before I could finish my pop culture reference, I fired my attack at the giant beetle. The attack hit just as Tai-Nii dive bombed Agumon-San out of the way.

That was when Dorugamon-San charged at Kuwagamon-Baka with the battle axe and said, "Lunatic Dance!" Then he stared 'dancing' around Kuwagamon-Teme, and once he saw an opening, he struck with his axe.

Not one to be left behind, Rouge had her claws encased in darkness, then she said, "Taste my claw, you pathetic insect! Phantom Claw!" She then proceeded to, quite literally, rip Kuwagamon-Baka a new one.

I heard Matt-San ask me, "Do you think that they're enough?"

And almost as if the universe was against us that day, Kuwagamon grabbed both Dorugamon-San and Rouge and threw them hard towards the ground. Dorugamon-San was forced back into Dorumon-San, and Rouge was struggling to get up.

The pain that I felt from Dorugamon-San being grabbed and being thrown caused me to lose focus on my Bowgun and Targeting system, forcing them back into cards. That was when Sora-San let out a loud cry of worry. But then we all heard a voice call out, "Pixe Bomb, Seek and Destroy!"

And just like that, the giant bug was gone, and we were all left to breathe a sigh of relief, while Tai-Nii and Agumon-San were both buried underneath sand. We all ran up to them and I started unburying while asking, "Ani? Ani? Are you okay? Ani?"

Then as Tai-Nii was unburied, he looked around in confusion and asked, "What just happened to us?"

Then a little pink pixie like Digimon with white wings holding a small staff just casually strolled past Tai-Nii and Agumon-San, while singing a happy tone. Then I said nonchalantly, "Huh. You don't see that every day." Then I shrugged it off and turned to Tai-Nii to say, "Well, Ani you were about to become DigiDust when...Wait..."

Then we all looked at the Pixie in realization and said, "NANI!?"

"A powderpuff with wings!?" Mimi-San exclaimed in a surprised shock.

Then Sora-San lightly chuckled as she said, "Just don't use is on your face."

"Where's Kuwagamon?" Joe-San asked in a slightly confused tone as he pushed his glasses back up his face. He was confused as to the sudden disappearance of Kuwagamon-Baka.

I looked down and saw that everyone was now laying on the sand and asked, "The better question is, why are you all just lying there on the sand?" I asked as everyone was just lying on the sands watching the pink fluff ball walk across the desert sands.

Then TK-Kun crawled in between the others and he said in wonder, "Oh, man! Maybe that's him!" As he pointed to the pink fairy Digimon.

Then the little fairy quickly turned around and cheerfully said, "Hah! I am no enemy, nope, nope. If anything, you are your own enemies."

That was when Biyomon-San gasped in amazement and she ran in front of the little pink pixie Digimon and said, "Oh! I've heard of you, you're the famous Piximon!"

That was when Mimi-San picked the little Piximon-San and asked in a soft, almost cutesy voice, "You are?"

Sora-San looked down at Biyomon-San in confusion, and she asked, "Uh, Biy-Chan, just who is Piximon-San?"

Then Rouge folded her paws and nonchalantly said, "Piximon is famous in the Digital World for his skills and training, but very few have ever met him."

Then Biyomon-San nodded in agreement and said, "That's right! His secret home is the training ground for all the great Digimon fighters!"

Rouge then looked at her claws as if they were suddenly more interesting than the conversation, then she calmly said, "You better believe it, sister. The best of the best fighters in the Digital World have trained under Piximon. Even a few legends have trained under him."

Then Piximon-San nodded in agreement then he said, "And I've heard all about you, too, but so far I am not impressed!" Piximon-San finished by bringing his spear down to add a little dramatic flair. Then he said, "You eight are supposed to be the DigiDestined? Hah! You better be more careful, or you'll end up DigiDinners! Yep, yep, without my spears and my magic, Kuwagamon would be eating you with a side of Digi-Fries!"

"That's gross, thanks a lot." Mimi-San replied with a hint of disgust in her voice.

Then Piximon-San turned towards our partners and said, "And that's not all, you Digimon there. You're supposed to be protecting the children, but half the time they're protecting you. I want to see some guts! I want to see some courage!"

Then Matt-San turned to us and whispered, "This guy reminds me of a gym teacher I once had."

I folded my arms and stared at Piximon, then I asked, "What do you mean by that, Piximon-San? I am pretty certain that we are doing a good job being DigiDestined. Sure, we've had a few, hiccups, along the way. But that doesn't mean that we're unfit to be DigiDestined. And how can you say that our partners don't have guts or courage? All of us have been giving it our all to protect the Digital World."

Piximon-San then looked straight at me and said, "Obviously, you haven't, or you would have used your powers to defeat Kuwagamon, Lukas-San." I clenched my fists tightly, realizing that he was right on that remark. Then he turned and cheerfully said, "But, the news isn't all bad. Yep, yep. From now on, you're all gonna train with me!"

Then Sora-San blinked a couple of times in confusion as she asked, "But, why?"

"Let's not go overboard, Piximon-San." Said Tentomon-San, trying to defuse what could possibly be a very bad situation.

"Especially the four of you guys." Piximon-San suddenly said as he looked towards Ani, Agumon-San, Dorumon-San and myself.

The four of us looked at each other and went, "Huh, NANI!?" I blinked several times in confusion, trying to figure out what Piximon-San had just said.

Piximon-San then flew out of Mimi-San's hands and said, "You heard me! You four need lots of help, and I have a special extreme training program just for you."

Then the four of us looked towards Piximon-San and Tai-Nii looked towards me and asked, "Did I hear him right, Otouto?"

"Sounds extreme." Agumon-San said in slight concern.

"Lukas-San, I have a bad feeling about this." Dorumon-San said to me with a hint of worry in his voice, as well as sounding like a Star Wars character.

I nodded very slightly, knowing the very same thing and said, "Yeah, I have a feeling that we will be hurting tomorrow, Doru-San."

Then Piximon-San threw his spear into the air, and said, "Yep, follow me!" Piximon-San then started marching off, while no one followed him at first.

Then I watched as the gang huddled amongst each other, and I heard Joe-San ask, "I have a question. Do we trust a ping pong ball with wings?"

But Tai-Nii looked towards him and responded with, "But he did save Agumon-San and me. Why would he do that if he was up to no good?"

Then Izzy-San then looked at Tai-Nii and said, "He didn't have a Black Gear anywhere on him, trust me, I checked."

I looked down at my Crest Of Protection, and thought, 'The power of my Crest. The first time I have ever used it, the power felt incredible, and talking to Apollo-San was like talking to a part of me. But, ever since the incident on the boat, I haven't heard Apollo-San's voice, not even once. Maybe, Piximon-San's right. Maybe a little training would do me some good.' I then gripped my Crest tightly and looked up and said, "Let's go! Dorumon-San, Olette-Hime, Rouge-Chan. Time for some serious training!" And with that, I started marching after Piximon-San.

Just as me, Olette-Chan, Doru-San, and Rouge started walking, we heard Joe-San ask, "What do you say, Biyomon-San? You seem to know a lot about him."

We all turned back towards the group as Biyomon-San said, "It's an honor to be chosen by Piximon-San for training."

Then I heard Mimi-San say/whine, "Sounds like a lot of work."

I sighed in defeat, but then I heard Sora-San say, "He's right though, we could use some help."

Then I heard Tai-Nii ask the orange haired DigiDestined, "How could you say that? Just 'cause we've nearly been eaten one hundred times?"

"Well, there are worse options." Matt-San said to my Nii-San, "Do we really have a choice? All in favor, say aye."

Then I heard a loud cry of, "AYE!"

Then I heard Tai-Nii scoff, then he asked, "Hey, Luke-Chan! What's your opinion about this? Do you think that we really need training or what?"

I looked at my Ani, then to my Crest, but, just before I could answer, Piximon-San shouted out, "WOULD YOU ALL JUST HURRY UP!?"

I sighed and said, "Let's just go." Then I started walking after Piximon-San, with Olette-Hime floating up right next to me, and we intertwined our hands together.

Then Dorumon-San strolled up next to us with Rouge resting on his back, he glared at both me and Olette-Chan and said, "Not. A. Word."

We both lightly chuckled, then I was about to say something, but saw the look in his eyes and decided to keep my mouth shut.

Soon, all of us DigiDestined were walking behind Piximon-San, waiting to arrive at our next destination, some more patient than others, "Are we there yet?" Asked Mimi-San for the hundredth time.

"Just a little further." Replied Piximon-San, still as cheerful as ever.

"That's the seventh time he's said that." Exclaimed Joe-San, clarifying exactly how many times that question was answered.

To which Yamato replied by asking, "I think he's lost."

"So, what do we do? Ask a cactus for directions?" Tai-Nii asked everyone.

I simply shook my head and said, "Unless you want to try your hand at finding Piximon-San's place on your own, please keep your complaints to yourself."

Then I heard Sora-San repeatedly say, "Ice cream, cold Root Beer..."

To which we all yelled, "STOP THAT!"

I turned to Sora-San and said, "Sora-San, please don't make us any more hungry than we already are. Okay?"

Sora-San nodded and rubbed the back of her head in embarrassment and said, "Gomen."

But before I was able to accept her apology and explain why she shouldn't be making us think of food, Piximon-San suddenly stopped and said, "Halt!" To which we all did, then he said, "We have arrived! Yep!"

Then Sora-San looked around for a minute in confusion, not seeing anything. Then she asked, "What are you talking about? There isn't anything here."

I lightly chuckled and said, "Like that has ever stopped logic from taking a backseat, Sora-San."

"He has a point." Doru-San stated while nodding.

And as if to prove my point, Piximon-San jumped into the sky and exclaimed, "Pixie Portal-Ha Haa!" Then he started spinning his staff like crazy while laughing loudly. Then suddenly, a portal appeared outta nowhere, leading into a jungle.

"It's a hole in the desert!" Mimi-San exclaimed in shock.

"Am I the only one who thinks this looks like trouble?" Joe-San nervously asked us.

To which me, Dorumon-San, Olette-Chan, and Rouge all said, "Yes."

Then Piximon-San turned to us and said, "Actually, it's just my front door. Come on in now, before it closes- yep yep!"

I chuckled and casually shrugged my shoulders and said, "A portal opening up in front of us out of nowhere? Eh, why not? Nothing can surprise me anymore. Just another day in the Digital World. Well, come on, time to get some training done." Then I turned to Olette-Chan and gestured to the portal and said in a gentleman esq tone, "After you, milady."

Olette-Chan brought her fist to her mouth as she giggled and mimicked me in a way, "Why, thank you, good sir." She then floated through the portal.

Then I followed her through the portal, and soon, everyone else followed us. After the portal closed, we continued following Piximon-San, then Tai-Nii said, "Cool, a jungle inside a desert."

"I bet you've got lot's of friends who would want to play with ya!" Takeru-Kun said to Piximon-San in a joyful tone.

Piximon-San lightly chuckled at the youngest of our group and said, "You should have seen it when I first got it."

Sora-San then suddenly stopped for a moment and turned back, she then suddenly asked, "Huh?"

Olette-Chan then turned around and asked, "Hey, Sora, what's up?"

To which Sora-San yelled out, "Heads up! Behind us, guys!"

We all turned and saw Etemon-Baka quote unquote "driving" past where we just were and Mimi-San said, "Oh, no! It's that creep Etemon-Baka and his trailer!"

"Oh, boy! This is bad!" Joe-San said in fear, which at this point, I was actually starting to think was his normal tone of voice.

Then Piximon-San flew up and rubbed his chin as he said, "And right outside the front door he is, too,"

Joe-San looked at the pink powder puff and confusingly asked, "Huh?"

Piximon-San then waved his hand and nonchalantly said, "Oh, don't worry. He isn't able to see through the barrier. He sees nothing but desert."

Rouge nodded and said, "Mmhmm. There's a reason why Piximon's training grounds have never been found, even by accident. You can almost say that his home is hidden inside a mirage, you would literally have to have dumb luck just to find this place, or would have to have been here before to know where to look."

Piximon-San nodded and said, "She's right. Yep, yep. Now, follow me."

And so, we continued our trek through the desert until we found a massive mountain with a stone staircase going up along the mountain's wall, then Piximon-San said, "Alright, home we are-my home is just up these steps."

"We have to walk up there?!" Joe-San asked in shock as he looked up the large mountain path.

To which Rouge sarcastically said, "No, Mister Complainer, there's a portal hidden right behind the stairs. Of course you have to walk all the way up there!"

Mimi-San then complained, "But I didn't bring my stair climbing sneakers!"

Olette-Chan turned to Mimi-San and said, "Mimi-San, not everything is about clothing."

Tai-Nii then rubbed the back of his head and weakly said, "Yeah, I just remembered, I'm afraid of heights."

I saw the looks on everyone's faces and lightly chuckled, I smiled and asked, "Are you telling me, that you guys can face down massive evil Digital Monsters with no fear, but get freaked out by a staircase?"

I shook my head and looked up the mountain then said, "I know it may seem like much, but, like Lao Tzu once said, 'A Journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.' And our journey of training begins by walking these steps. Besides, I doubt that after everything we've went through these past couple of days, that anything that Piximon-San can throw at us would seem like a walk in the park for us." And to prove that I wasn't afraid, I started walking for the mountain, with Dorumon-San, Rouge, and Olette-Chan right behind me.

Then Sora-San turned towards Piximon-San and asked, "Is this part of our training?"

Piximon-San nodded and cheerfully said, "Exactly!"

To which everyone groaned, then Tentomon-San cheerfully said, "Hey, no sweat-I'll just fly up there. Before you know it, I'll be chillin' by the pool..."

Then Piximon-San interrupted Tentomon-San and said, "By the way, did I mention there will be no flying by anyone during training? That means you too, miss."

Olette-Chan turned to Piximon-San and in a confused tone, she asked, "Huh? Who me?"

To which Piximon-San nodded and said, "Yep, yep. You may be a specter, but I do know that you can walk. Sorry, but no one gets the easy route here."

Olette-Chan shrugged and said, "Well, if you say so." And so, Olette-Chan put her feet on the ground, and for a moment, she lost her balance, but I was quick to react and grab her and held on to her. Then she blushed an d rubbed the back of her head in embarrassment and said, "Uh, I am not really used to walking. I guess I have to get used to it."

I shook my head with a smile and said, "I guess I'll hold onto you, so you don't fall and learn how to take this one step at a time."

Then I heard Piximon-San ask, "Haven't you rookies learned that the easy way is sometimes a trap? Especially you, Shadow Gatomon? I thought I trained you better than that?"

Rouge rolled her eyes and said, "And you did, I just like to enjoy myself at times. And call me Rouge. "

Piximon-San shook his head and said, "Looks like I'm going to have to put you through the ringer, Rouge. Again."

Then all of us started walking up the mountain of a million steps, with me holding onto Olette-Chan's hand. She seemed have gotten the hang of walking and was able to walk right next to me with no problems. The others, not so much. "I guess Piximon-San never heard of Elevators." Said Joe-San in an exhausted voice.

Rouge turned to Joe and in an annoyed voice, said, "I'm giving you this one warning, Lieutenant Complainer, one more complaint, and I'm throwing you off of this mountain." Wow, Joe-San's been demoted. First Rouge called him Captain, now he's a Lieutenant.

Olette-Hime, however, turned to the Black Cat of Lust and said, "Rouge, please don't push Joe-San off of the mountain, that would not be very nice. Just have a little patience with him."

Rouge looked at Olette-Chan and said, "You forget who I am, Olette. I may be a Shadow Gatomon, but I am still Lilithmon, Demon Lord Of Lust. I am not Belphemon of Sloth. I don't have the patience to deal with this guy."

I shook my head and said, "Rouge, please don't terminate Joe-San, we need him, alive and in one piece. Not in a million little pieces." Rouge scoffed and folded her arms in annoyance, and I just chuckled and continued walking up the mountain while holding Olette-Hime's hand.

After what felt like forever, we were finally making it to the top of the mountain, all of us breathing hard and feeling completely drained. Then Piximon-San said, "Don't tell me you're all tired! Don't give up yet!" He then pointed to a massive building in the distance and said, "You see? You've almost arrived!"

Joe-San looked up from the rock he was climbing on, and his jaw dropped than asked, "That's his place?"

Rouge nodded and asked, "Yeah. Were you expecting something smaller?"

Then Piximon-San said the words that would get us moving, "That's it, and there's plenty of food for all."

We all had stars in our eyes at the thought of food then I cheered, "Yeah! Food!"

After walking a little while longer, we all have managed to make it to Piximon-San's home, where we all saw a large stone statue of Piximon-San. "Amazing." Olette-Chan said to the statue.

Piximon-San nodded with that ever present smile of his as he said, "Why, thank you. Is it as handsome as me? Ha ha!"

But none of us were really laughing, then Joe-San turned to Piximon-San and asked, "You said something about food?"

Piximon-San nodded and flew over to us and said, "Ah, yes, but first you must earn it."

We all groaned in annoyance as Gomamon-San said, "I should have known there'd be a catch."

I nodded in agreement, then I asked, "Alright, then. What is it we must do to earn food, Piximon-San?"

Piximon-San looked to me and smiled, then he twirled his spear while laughing wildly, then he threw his spear in the air, and when he caught it, buckets and rags appeared before us. Then Piximon-San said, "I want you all to scrub the floors. All the floors!"

We all expressed our disbelief at the request that was made. Then Rouge groaned in annoyance, and she said, "Seriously Piximon? Again with the cleaning job? I swear, you must have something against me."

I simply rolled my eyes at this, knowing that the longer we complained, the longer it would take to eat, so I said, "Whatever. If it means we can eat, then I'll clean."

I was about to grab a bucket and a rag when Piximon-San said, "Hold it, Luke-San." I looked up at the flying pink puff ball who said, "Every one of you shall be cleaning, except for the six of you." He lowered his spear at me and Dorumon-San, then at Tai-Nii and Agumon-San, and finally at Olette-Chan and Rouge. Then he said, "Tai-San, Agumon-San, Lukas-San, Dorumon-San, Olette-San and Rouge. Come now. For I have a special tour for the six of you." He then flew off into another direction.

Olette-Chan blinked a couple of times, then she turned to me and asked, "What do you think he wants from us, Luke-Kun?"

I looked at her and shrugged, then I said, "I don't really know, O-Chan. But I think it would be best if we follow him. Don't want to make him angry now, do we? Let's go, guys." I looked to Olette-Hime and asked, "How are you doing with walking? Felling comfortable?"

Olette-Chan smiled at me lightly and she said, "It's actually pretty easy now. I have no problems walking on my own, Luke-Kun."

I smiled but still held out my hand and said, "That's good, but just to be safe. I don't want to see you accidentally trip or something, O-Hime. So here, take my hand and I will make sure that nothing tries to trip you."

Olette-Chan lightly giggled and grabbed my hand and said, "You are quite the smooth talker, Luke-Kun. You know that?"

I chuckled but didn't say anything as we walked after Piximon-San with Dorumon-San, Rouge-San, Tai-Nii and Agumon-San following after us. While me and Olette-Hime were having a somewhat good time, in contrast to all of this, I heard Nii-San grumble out, "Great, we probably have to paint the place now."

I heard Rouge-Chan grumbly say, "Hot Head, please don't complain right now. And don't give him any bright ideas. I remember back when I was training with some of the other Demon Lords here after the war, and one time, Beelzemon, the demon lord of Gluttony, once back talked Piximon, Piximon punished him by making him make that large sculpture of Piximon. It took him seven days to make one, but Piximon said that he had to do it again because it was not perfect. Beelzemon's response? He destroyed the thing in anger, then he was forced to make another one. It took him three weeks for him to create the statue you see there. So, unless you want to actually want to paint his home, don't say anything."

I shivered at the thought of being forced to paint this place multiple times, so I gulped loudly and slightly picked up the pace, and Olette-Hime followed suite. After a while of walking, we ended up standing outside the mouth of a large cave, then Piximon-San said, "All right, you six, this is the place, yep yep! Come on into the cave!"

We all looked at one another, then we nodded in agreement. Then we walked into the deep dark cave. As we walked deeper into the cave, the darker it became. "Wow. It's pitch black in here!" Agumon-San stated.

I nodded and said, "Yeah, you'll have an easy time getting lost in here if you don't know where you're going."

Tai-Nii then asked, "What kind of chore can we do inside of a dark cave, when we won't be able to see our hands in front of our faces!"

Right after he said that I heard Tai-Nii call out in shock, I turned around so fast and grabbed Ani's wrist, but I wasn't expecting that Baka to fall on me, then we all collapsed onto the ground. Then I heard Piximon-San call out, "This is your training. You must find your way back."

I slowly stood up and groaned in pain, then I said, "Find our way back? How can we do that?"

Rouge stood up with a groan, then she said, "Who knows? I have never been in this cave before, so I don't know where it leads."

Tai-Nii then said, "Well, I guess we have no choice than, but to head deeper inside it. Maybe we can find a way out on the other side."

I nodded, then I said, "Good thinking, Tai-Nii, but stay close to each other, we don't want to get separated down here." And so, we continued down the cave, not being any further than a hands grab away from each other.

But then Tai-Baka tripped again, and he knocked into me, and then I saw darkness. It wasn't long before I was woken by Olette-Chan's voice, "Lukas-Kun! Lukas-Kun wake up!"

I slowly opened my eyes and asked, "Huh?" I looked up and noticed that instead of seeing rocks above my head, it was instead dark and cloudy. I shot up and asked, "What happened? How did we get here?"

Olette-Chan looked around as she shrugged and said, "I don't remember, Koi. All I remember is Tai-Nii tripping, then nothing. I don't remember getting into a boat, or anything."

I then heard Rouge's voice say, "She's right, Emo-Sama. However it is we got here, I don't think we're going to be leaving the same way."

I looked around and saw that Rouge was sitting across from me and Olette-Chan, and Dorumon-San was still sleeping, then I asked, "Has anyone tried to wake Doru-San up yet?"

At my voice, Dorumon-San opened his eyes and yawned, and as he looked around, he asked, "Hey, what happened? Where are we?"

I shrugged and said, "I don't know, bud. I just woke up." Then I realized something, "Hey, wait a minute. Where's Ani? And Agu-San" I looked around but I couldn't see my Nii-San or his partner.

Rouge shrugged with disinterest and said, "Who knows? They weren't here when I woke up. So that must mean that they're somewhere else."

I groaned and said, "Just perfect. We're in the middle of who knows where, Ani and Agu-San are missing, and we're supposed to be finding our way out of here, wonderful." Then I grabbed the oars and said, "Well, I guess that the only thing for us to do is keep moving." Then I started rowing in a random direction.

Rouge looked at me with a raised eyebrow and asked, "Do you even know where you're going, Emo-Sama?"

My right eye twitched uncontrollably then I said in an annoyed tone, "No, Rouge, I just think it is better to move in some direction instead of just sitting around here like a bunch of idiots."

Rouge nodded then I saw her look up and had a look of surprise spread across her face and she pointed behind me and said, "Hey, what's the deal with that light?"

I turned to where Rouge was pointing at and saw a glowing ball of light, I then said, "A giant glowing ball of light? Could it be guiding us out of here?"

Olette-Chan looked to me and asked, "Are you sure about that, Luke-Kun?"

I shook my head and said, "Not really, Hime. But, it's the only clue we have at the moment. It could just be nothing, but it could be something. And, hey, who knows, maybe it could lead us to Nii-San and Agumon-San. So, why not take a chance? What could happen?"

No one said anything, then I started rowing towards the ball of light, but no matter how fast I rowed, the further away the light got from us. After a while of rowing, we started to see strange things appear on the waters. "Hey, are you seeing this?" I asked everyone.

Rouge nodded and said, "Yeah, a bunch of buildings just appearing and disappearing at random. What's going on here?"

I didn't have an answer, but for some stranger reason, I felt a tingling sensation in my head, like an itch I couldn't scratch. I continued rowing until we rowed up near a park, then I said, "Hey, I recognize this park."

Olette-Chan looked at me in surprise and she asked, "You do?"

I nodded and said, "Yeah, my mom would always bring me and my siblings to this park to play at. I wonder why we're here?"

Then I heard a loud thud followed by someone yelling out, "Ugh! That hurt."

We all turned to where the sound came from and we all saw a young boy with short brown hair wearing a light green shirt and black pants, my eyes widened at the kid in front of me, and I said, "No way."

Olette-Chan must have seen my shock, then she asked, "Hey, Luke, what's up? Who's that?"

I blinked a couple of times, then I rubbed my eyes, not believing what I was seeing, but I still saw the kid, then I said, "That's me when I was younger."

Dorumon-San looked at me and said, "What? That's you?"

I nodded then Rouge noticed the look on my younger selves face and said, "Wow, even back then you had that annoyed look down even when you were younger, how funny." I parked the boat near where my younger self was, then we all got out of the boat.

I looked at my younger selves face and saw that he had the look of annoyance in his eyes, then I said, "Well, I am pretty stubborn, even back then I didn't know when to give up."

We all started to walk up to my younger self, and we heard him snap his fingers and say, "Drat! I was so close too."

I chuckled and I decided to say something that we'd only get. So, I walked up to him and jokingly asked, "That looked like it hurt. Should I call for back up?"

I saw my younger self jump five feet in the air as he turned to me and saw his eyes widened and for a while we just looked into each other's eyes, almost like we were reading each other's minds then he asked, "Jeremy-San?"

I smiled, seemingly at the fact that we both knew that we couldn't both be called Luke-San. Then I said, "Yeah. That's my name."

Then we both had a jokester smile spread across our faces as we rose our fingers to our heads and said, "Got it memorized?" Then we started laughing.

I rubbed a tear from my eye, and I asked, "So, are you going to quit after that one fall, Kouki-San?"

My younger self rubbed his eye then shook his head with a smile and said, "No way, Luke-San. Why would I quit after failing one time? When do we ever quit? Never! That's when!"

I smiled then I said, "That's the spirit, Kouki-San. You can climb this tree all it takes is learning from your failures. You can fall as many times as you want. What matters isn't the fact that you fall, what matters is that you keep getting up afterwards. You have the ability to do whatever you want, all you have to do, is believe in yourself."

Kouki-San nodded then he looked at my Crest and gasped, I looked down at my Crest and said, "Yes, you will one day become the owner of your very own Crest, and you will become a DigiDestined. But before you can do any of that, and overcome the obstacles as a DigiDestined, you must first learn to climb over the obstacles that are in front of you."

Olette-Chan nodded and said, "He's right, Kouki-San, you can do whatever you want, all you have to do is listen to the voice inside of you."

Kouki-San looked at Olette-Chan in surprise, then at me and asked, "Who's the pretty angle, Luke-San? A friend of yours?"

I lightly chuckled and looked to Olette-Chan, who was blushing, then I turned back to Kouki-San and said, "Something like that. A friend that you will one day meet in the future. Now than, go on and climb that tree."

Kouki-San nodded and turned towards the tree with a determined look, but before he went to the tree, I had a sudden thought. "Hey, Kouki-San!" My younger self turned to me, and I took out my empty notebook and jokingly asked, "Can I have an autograph?"

Kouki-San smiled widely and ran over to us, and we each signed our names with the phrase 'When the Past and Future collide, our paths, we decide.' It was nonsense to others, but to us, it was a reminder of who we are.

I closed the book and put it away, then we all walked up to the tree and Kouki-San placed one hand on the tree, than another, and then, by using his feet, he started climbing again, taking each step up, one at a time. And soon, he was at the first branch and he cheered, "Yeah! I did it! I actually did it!"

I smiled at this younger version of myself and said, "Great job, Kouki-San! Just remember, keep climbing, and don't give up, no matter what!"

Kouki-Sab looked down and smiled brightly at me and said, "You got it, Luke-San! And you keep on protecting the Digital World."

I smiled and said, "Hey, if there is one thing that I am great at, it's protecting others! And remember, one day, this crest will be around your neck."

Kouki-San nodded, then he smiled and said, "Well, thank you for everything, Lukas! And take care!" Then he started climbing higher and higher until we couldn't see him anymore.

I waved at my disappearing younger self and said, "Yeah, you too, Kouki!" I then closed my eyes and breathed a sigh of relief, then I turned to everyone else and said, "Well, come on, guys, let's head out."

I started walking when Rouge ran up to me and asked, "Wait! I thought that you were supposed to learn how to use your powers. I don't see how by helping your younger self climb a tree can teach you how to use your powers."

I chuckled at this, knowing that to others it wouldn't make sense, but to me, it was obvious. So, I turned to the black cat and said, "I think I understand this. It wasn't that I couldn't use my powers, it's just that I wasn't listening to my heart." I picked up my Tag and Crest and said, "I have to listen to the voice of my Crest, and believe in myself, then I can use my powers fully. Isn't that right, Apollo-San?"

At first, I didn't get a response, but then my Crest started glowing and a voice said, "I was wondering when you were going figure that out, Luke-San. Good job. You just have to believe in yourself, and the Earth is yours to control."

I smiled at hearing the voice of my Crest's spirit, then I said, "It was never the fact that I was afraid of using my powers, it was the fact that I wasn't listening to myself, every part of me. Now then, what do you say, Apollo-San, shall we get into some trouble?"

I could feel Apollo grinning at me as he said, "Let's Rock 'N' Roll. Luke-San. By the way…"

I looked down at my Crest and asked, "What is it?"

Apollo-San said, "Just as you kept you old name hidden from others, I too have been keeping my real name a secret. And seeing how you have truly connected to me now; I can tell you my real name."

We all looked at my Crest in surprise and I asked, "What is your real name, then?"

Apollo-San chuckled and said, "My real name is, Susanoo, The Spirit of Protection."

I smiled, then I said, "It is nice to meet you, Susanoo-San."

Susanoo-San chuckled and he said, "Same here, Luke-San, same here."

I then turned to the others and said, "Come on, let's get going!"

Everyone nodded and we were soon rowing out of our current location. It wasn't long before I saw something in the distance, I squinted my eyes and soon my eyes widened at what I saw, "Hey! Tai-Nii! Agumon-San! Over here!"

I heard Tai-Nii's voice call out, "Lukas-Otouto? Olette-Imouto? Dorumon-San? Rouge? Is that you?"

I laughed and said, "Yeah! It's us!" We then started rowing faster and soon we were rowing right next to Tai-Nii and Agumon-San, I looked to my Nii-San and saw that he had that fire burning in his eyes then I said, "So, I see that you have fully returned back to your old self, huh?"

Tai-Nii smiled and shook his head, confusing me, until he said, "No, I'm better than that. I have learned not to be afraid of creating SkullGreymon or becoming Phobos again."

I smiled at hearing this, proving that Ani has grown from his time in this cave, then I said, "Good for you two."

Tai-Nii then asked, "What about you, Otouto? Have you learned how to use your powers yet?"

I smiled and looked down to my Tag and Crest and said, "I have a hunch that I can use my powers now."

Tai-Nii smiled at me then he looked forward and saw that large ball of light from earlier, then he gasped inside the ball of light, we saw our friends fighting against a large red dinosaur with green spines, three claws on each hand, and a white stomach and said, "They're in trouble!"

I gripped my D-Ark and looked towards my brother, then at Olette-Chan and finally at the Digimon and asked, "Is everyone ready?" To which they all nodded, then I said, "Well, let's Rock! Dorumon, Digivolving Time!"

Then at the very same time, Tai-Nii said, "Agumon-San, Digivolve!"

Both Dorumon-San and Agumon-San nodded in agreement, then I raised my D-Ark and said, "Digivolution, Activate!"

D-I-G-I-V-O-L-U-T-I-O-N

Soon, Agumon-San and Dorumon-San were gone, and in their places were Greymon-San and Dorugamon-San. I smiled as Greymon-San put his foot down, literally, and caused Tyrannomon-Baka to be knocked off his feet. Then Dorugamon-San charged up an iron sphere before he called out, "Cannonball!" Then he charged at Tyrannomon-Baka and struck him in the gut with his attack.

I smiled, then I threw my fist in the air as I said, "Nice shot, Dorugamon-San!"

That was when Greymon-San let loose a loud roar, and Dorugamon-San followed shortly after him. I smiled, but I saw that Tyrannomon-Baka was getting back up, I glared at the red dinosaur, and I felt a pulse coming from my Crest. I looked down and saw that it was glowing a bright green glow. I gripped the Crest in my hand, and I said, "All right then, time to test this thing for real." I closed my eyes and extended my right arm, and I said a strange chant that just came to me, "I call upon the power of the spirit of the Crest Of Protection, Susanoo, and call upon his divine weapon, Susanō no sutōmushīrudo!"

I saw Tai-Nii turn towards me, but I just watched as my right arm began glowing a bright green and watched as Digicode started to appear around my arm, then the word 'Shield' appeared over my arm, and soon, that word, transformed into a real shield. The same one that I used during my fight against Phobos-Teme. I smiled and said, "Now that is awesome!" I felt the ground shake, and I looked up and saw that Dorugamon had landed in front of me.

He gestured to his back and I smiled and nodded, then I climbed on his back and said, "Okay, Dorugamon-San, you ready for a real tag team?"

Dorugamon-San smirked at me and said, "Luke-San, I was made ready."

I smiled then I gripped the middle disk of my Shield then I said, "Okay, then, from the storms of Susanoo, I call upon the archer, Apollo, and his weapon, I transform Susanō no sutōmushīrudo, into… Apollo's Crossbow Aporo no kurosubō!" And at those words, I turned the middle disk and watched as my shield transformed into crossbow. Then I took out one of my Modify Cards and said, "Crescemon's Dark Archery! Activate!" Then the large Bowgun appeared in my hands, I turned to my Nii-San and said, "Taichi! Catch!"

I then threw the Bowgun to my Ani who caught it, but he looked up at me in confusion, and asked me, "What am I supposed to do with this?"

I smiled and said, "Just aim the thing at Tyrannomon-Baka then wait for my signal, then, pull the trigger! Greymon-San, Dorugamon-San, Tai-Nii, together! Ready." I then aimed my Crossbow at Tyrannomon and watched as the arrow began to glow a bright green. "Aim." I saw Greymon charging up a large ball of fire in his mouth, and I saw the dark energy coming off of the Bowgun. Then I said, "FIRE! APORO NO KAMI NO YA!" And at that moment, I launched my attack.

Then I heard Tai-Nii call out, "Dark Archery! Fire!" Then his attack was fired.

"Power Metal!" Shouted Dorugamon-San as he fired a large metal sphere at Tyrannomon-Baka.

Then last, but certainly not least, Greymon-San called out, "Nova Blast!"

Then the attacks collided and sent Tyrannomon-Baka flying! But he wasn't beaten just yet, I saw Tai-Nii was running to Sora-San and the others, while he was still holding the Bowgun, I looked down and saw that Olette-Chan was floating next to him. I turned to Dorugamon-San and said, "I'll see you soon, buddy. You go and take care of Tyrannomon-Baka."

Dorugamon-San nodded, then I jumped off of Dorugamon-San then I did two midair flips and landed on the ground with my right fist punching the ground. I looked up to my friends and said, "Now if that isn't an entrance, I don't know what is." I finished my line with a crud eating grin.

I heard Matt-San ask in a surprised voice, "Lukas-San? What the heck happened to you?"

I looked down, thinking that my clothes changed for some odd reason, but noticed I was still the same, I looked up and asked, "What do you mean? I'm still the same old me? Nothing's changed."

At this, Tai-Nii laughed lightly and said, "I think he meant the whole skydiving you just did, Otouto."

I blinked a couple of times, then I said, "Oh. Right." I lightly chuckled and rubbed the back of my head and said, "What can I say? I have a thing for the dramatics. By the way, Nii-San. Nice shot with that Bowgun."

Tai-Nii rubbed his nose and said, "Thanks, but I think I prefer swords over guns. Even a Bowgun."

I laughed and said, "Yeah, it takes some time getting used to." I then turned to the fight between Digimon and saw that Greymon-San was ripping out the Dark Network cables, and Dorugamon-San was busy playing a new game called, 'Hit the Tyrannomon.'

Sora-San looked at us, Tai-Nii more than me and said, "You made it!"

Me and Tai-Nii smiled lightly, while Ani blushed lightly, using the Bowgun to hide his and I said, "Yeah, we had to find ourselves. And as you can see, I have learned to use my powers."

Sora-San looked at me weirdly, but I just brushed it off as the fact that I have a massive green crossbow on my arm, then I saw her point in front of her and exclaim, "Look! Greymon-San and Dorugamon-San are pulling the cables out!"

We all watched as Greymon-San lifted Tyrannomon-Baka upwards while entangled in the dark cables, causing them to be ripped apart, while Dorugamon-San starts to chow on the wires. Then I punched my palm said, "Get 'em, you guys! Send him packing!"

Then Greymon-San started lifting Tyrannomon-Baka upwards, pulling more of the dark network out of the ground, then I yelled, "Dorugamon-San, give Greymon-San a hand!"

Dorugamon-San nodded then he flew up and grabbed onto Tyrannomon-Baka and started lifting him up higher and higher into the air, pulling out more cables. But Greymon-San and Dorugamon-San were pulling to hard and caused them to fall onto their backs. But they still succeeded in their goals and disconnected the Dark Network.

Tai-Nii then cheered, "They did it!" He was pretty much jumping up and down with excitement.

I smiled and turned to Tai-Nii and said, "We did it, Tai-Nii. We did it." Tai-Nii looked to me and I extended my hand and Tai-Nii smiled and we shook hands at a job well done. Then the Bowgun erupted into data and returned into a card, which I had caught. I smiled and said, "Nice work Ani. I might be able to teach you how to use my Bowgun if you're interested?"

Tai-Nii laughed and said, "Thanks, but, I'll pass."

After that amazing battle, it was time for us to go, night was coming, but we knew that we had to hurry on out of here, but not before bidding goodbye to Piximon-San.

"Thank you, Piximon-San, we've learned a lot from you." Matt-San said truthfully to our teacher.

I nodded and bowed as I said, "Yes, thank you, Piximon-San, for without your help, me and Tai-Nii would probably never would have found ourselves. So, thank you, for everything."

Then Joe-San then grumbly said, "Yeah, like how to scrub floors and starve half to death."

"Joe-San!" Mimi-San exclaimed, "Please forgive him. That's just Joe-San's stomach talking."

Piximon-San nodded, then he said, "Remember, life itself is a training session. Learn all you can!"

We all nodded and said, "Right!" And with that, we had begun, once again on our journey.

And so, we DigiDestined have met the trainer of Legends, Piximon-San, and under his guidance, me and Tai-Nii have learned a thing or two. Tai-Nii found his courage again, and I found my power. While I know that it will take me a long time to master these powers, I know that with time, I can do anything. But, what awaits us now? Who knows? Find out next time, on Digimon: New Life!

Thechaosmaster: And there we have it. I will keep this short. But, as you can see, I am back, I really needed these last few months off to get myself back on track, but boy is it good to be back.

Thechaosmaster: Hey everyone, I really hoped that you enjoyed this chapter. I was tired as all balls last night finishing it, hence why the Author Notes were so short. Chaos: Look, the point is that I have updated this chapter, leave me alone. Tri was a great movie series. Does it have its flaws? Yes. Do I care? No. Did I cry? Yes. Am I ashamed? No way.
