Thechaosmaster: Look, I would do something weird, funny, or all around, psychotic, but it is almost 10:00pm when I am writing this. Please note that I have just finished this chapter. And before I forget, Kurivolt…

Kurivolt: Howdy, boss. You know, it's not nice to keep these guys and girls waiting a month to bring up another chapter.

Chaos: Yeah, I know, but that is why I am doing it now. Now, before you lot read this chapter, please note, that I have done some, experimenting with this chapter. I have decided to change the point of view rapidly, now then, I have an Authors Note in the story, you could possibly see it right now, but, well, that is all that I have. And I must say, it feel good to be back. Kurivolt!

Kurivolt: On it! Thechaosmaster does not own the rights to Digimon or it's character, if he did, this would kind of be a real thing, but we don't want to waste any more time, so, ACTION!

Thechaosmaster: *Inhales* Silence *Exhales* Okay, hiya, everyone. How are we doing on this nice Sunday afternoon?

Blossom: Where the HELL have you been boss? You've been gone for almost an entire year! Not to mention that you're back here? What happened to Undertale?

Chaos: Look, this current chapter of Undertale: Fates Intertwined has been kicking my ass all over the Underground. First, I got to a special segment that I will not spoil, then I reached Mad Dummy, who, I don't care if anyone knows, but, I HATE the Mad Dummy Fight. Everyone who reads my stories knows that I specialize in character interactions. And Mad Dummy allows NONE of that. That took me months to get the motivation to write.

So, *Inhales exhales* Now that that's taken care of, plenty of new things in this chapter. Like, the kids reflecting on how Luke effected them, some other things here and there, and also, well…

Blossom: Easy there boss, remember the rules? No spoilers?

Chaos: Yeah, yeah. I know. At least the first upload of the year is me finishing these bloody edits. What will I work on next? I don't know. But either way, I am done with this chapter. Also, ha, I recently how funny it was that the quote of this chapter, actually fits VERY well with this chapter. Well, enough rambling, ENJOY!

Red: You know the deal. Thechaosmaster does not own the rights to Digimon, their characters, myself, or anything of the sort. He only owns the OC Kouki and Olette. The Crests of Protection and Faith, or the idea for elemental powers. Everything else belongs to their respected owners.

Chapter 21: Matt's Icy Awakening

"Although my heart may be weak, it's not alone. It's grown with each new experience, and it's found a home with all the friends I've made. I've become a part of their heart just as they've become a part of mine. And if they think of me now and then...if they don't forget me...then our hearts will be one. I don't need a weapon. My friends are my power!" Sora, Kingdom Hearts.

(A/N: I had begun writing this chapter from only Luke's point of view, but then I had realized that I would end up making this chapter very short, so, in order to correct this, I have decided to write the beginning of this chapter from Matt's point of view, then continue onwards from Luke's. Let me know if you would like to see this again for No Questions Please, let me know down in the reviews. The only reason is because, well, I want to make it so these chapters are longer than four thousand words. Especially with the eight thousand word chapter from last time. Anyways, on with the show!)

Hey guys, Luke-San here. We had finally returned to the Digital World, but it seemed that a lot has happened since we left. DemiDevimon-Teme had tricked Takeru-Kun into thinking all of our friends didn't like him, and grew annoyed with him, plus he also made him and Tokomon-San fight, which led to Takeru-Kun throwing away his Digivice and his Tag and Crest as well. And while Takeru-Kun played with DemiDevimon-Teme, and when we found him, he looked so depressed, but once he saw us, he became overjoyed, so much so, that both he and Tokomon-San made up and became friends once again. But then DemiDevimon-Teme tried to sabotage that by trying to trick all of us into eating some kind of strange mushrooms, ones that would make us forget who we were.

Luckily, however, it seemed that Sora-Nee and Biyomon-Chan were in the neighborhood and saved us just in the nick of time. And that was when Takeru-Kun and Patamon-San worked together and sent that little devil flying. Man, it's good to be back.

***Matt's POV***

It started shortly after Tai-San, Luke-San, Olette-San and their Digimon disappeared, and right after I went to search for the other kids. Me and Gabumon-San took a swan boat and had to leave Takeru-Kun and Tokomon-San back at the Amusement Park, and we traveled across the seas, once we reached land, however, that was when things got tricky.

Once we had gotten off the boat, me and Gabumon-San looked around, but we couldn't see any signs of our friends. 'Heh, times like these I wish that I had some kind of cool power that could help me find the others, Luke-San's lucky, he could just as easily use his HyperChip Modify card, and search for the others in a blink of the eye. Or use his weird seismic sense ability thing to find out if anyone is hiding nearby. But he's not here, and I am, so I have to make do. Meaning, we will have to do this the old fashioned way.'

I thought to myself. In all honesty, I am kind of jealous of Luke-San, the way he could bounce back from things, and just do something that people would call insane, and have it almost always work out for him. But, then again, it always seemed like Luke-San has to act more older than he has to be. 'Not that I can blame him. I mean, he had to pretend to be an actual kid while having the mentality of a grownup. I honestly don't think that even I could handle being in Luke-San's shoes. Not to mention that he has made it his personal mission to protect all of us, even at his own life.'

I can still remember watching Luke-San jump right in front of us to take that Dākufureimu without even knowing and/or caring that it would awaken his Crest. 'All he cared for was OUR safety. He was willing to die for us all, he jumped to take that hit without even thinking. And then he went to town on Phobos, not even in the face of his possessed Nii-San did Luke-San show any fear. Instead, the only thing he had ever shown was the determination to fight tooth-and-nail to get his Nii-San back. He has so much power, yet, he doesn't flaunt it like one would think a normal kid would. But, through it all, he remains humble and modest instead, he uses the power that he has been given for to protect his friends. To protect US. But… Why does it feel like there is something that he is hiding from us?'

And it was true. I can see it sometimes when he thinks I'm not looking. It's very subtle, and always at night when no one is around to pay attention to him. But, there are times when he clenches his fists tightly, the way that he silently growls under his breath. Something big is gonna happen in the future, and whatever that is, I think it actually SCARES him.

And that is what frightens me. Because while Tai-Baka may hold the Crest Of Courage, Luke-San was always the more fearless of the two. For Kami's sake, he gets some kind of kick outta ticking his opponents off, and I think he secretly ENJOYS that.

Then, as I was thinking about Luke-San and the many secrets of him, I heard Gabumon-San ask, "Where are we, Matt-San? Don't tell me we're lost again."

I hated to admit it, but we were, but because I didn't want to worry Gabumon-San, I simply said, "Okay, I won't. But just take a look at that ridge up there." As I spoke, I pointed up on to the hill side.

Gabumon-San looked up and asked, "Where?" Then he saw the three Digimon that were walking up the mountain, and he said, "Hey, other Digimon."

We watched as a Monzaemon, A Frigimon, and A Kokatorimon, all walking up the side of the mountain, then I said, "I say we follow them wherever they're going and hope they're not lost, too."

Gabumon-San nodded and we walked up the mountain and followed them. As we walked up the mountain, I turned and saw something that was strange and said, "Huh. Now that's weird." Indeed, because we saw a restaurant on a mountain clearing. Then I said, "A restaurant in the middle of nowhere? That's new."

Gabumon-San turned to man and said, "The perfect location for hungry Digimon."

Then I folded my arms in an unimpressed motion and said, "Or for a trap."

Gabumon-San then softly smiled as he said, "You've been hanging around Luke-San for too long, Matt-San. I doubt that this could be a trap."

I nodded in slight agreement, then I said, "Yeah, you're right. But then again, I am starting to consider what Luke-San use to say."

Gabumon-San then looked at me and asked, "What? You mean that anything could be considered a trap?"

I chucked, hearing it from Gabumon-San makes it sound just as crazy as when Luke-San said it. Then I nodded and said, "Yeah, that's it. Even though he is keeping our future a secret from us, I can actually understand his reasoning for it. If we knew what was to happen, and we didn't like it, chances are, we would want to change it ourselves, and in doing so, we could make our future that much worse." I chuckled and let my arms drop to my side as I said, "Great, now I'm sounding like Luke-San. Let's just hope that I don't end up as crazy as he is, one lunatic is enough for our group."

As we were laughing, we walked up to the restaurant, but we stopped when we heard a voice shout out from behind the door, "BUSBOY, GO GET SOME NEW CUSTOMERS!"

Then the restaurant doors were thrown open as Gomamon-San was thrown out and down the stairs. I blinked a few times before shrugging, but just as I was about to enter the restaurant, my mind caught up with what I had just saw and turned and said, "Wait. Nani? Gomamon-San? Is that you?" I turned just to double check to make sure.

Yep, that was Gomamon-San alright. 'But what is he doing here?' I asked myself. 'And, did I hear a voice call him 'busboy'? But, why would he work in a restaurant?'

Quickly, Gabumon-San ran up to our friend and asked, "Gomamon-San, are you okay?"

Gomamon-San looked up at Gabumon-San and asked, "Gabumon-San?" He then looked up to me and smiled as he said, "...and Matt-San! Boy! Is Joe-San ever going to be happy to see you two."

Gomamon-San then led us to the back of the dinner and there we found Joe-San, who was wearing an apron, and was cooking? 'Okay, something's off about this.' I thought to myself.

Then Joe-San looked up from his cooking and said, "Hey, Matt-San. Good to see you."

I waved awkwardly at Joe-San and said, "Hey, Joe-San. Where have you been and what are you doing here?" Seriously, here we are searching for our friends, and Joe-San goes and gets himself a job? Doesn't he remember that we were SUPPOSED to be look for our friends?

Joe-San then started to rub his head nervously, then he started speaking, "Well, you see, I..."

Then I, not even giving him a chance to speak, said, "First Sora-San left, then we had to split up, so you left, then Mimi-San and Izzy-San, they both left, then Takeru-Kun and I were left alone."

Joe-San then sadly looked down and said, "I know. Well, it started when we all went our separate ways to look for Tai-San and the others. I wasn't lost."

***POV Change, Joe Kido***

I definitely knew where I wasn't, but I just didn't know where exactly where I was. I think. That was when we came across this small Digimon calling himself DemiDevimon.

"You're lost, aren't you?" DemiDevimon-San asked us, sounding very worried about us.

Of course, he was behind me when he asked that and I jumped in surprise, "Ahh!" Then I turned around and said, "Why did you sneak up on me? Who are you?"

Then he chuckled and he said, "Just a friend. I thought you'd like to know I saw some other humans just like you nearby."

I was actually glad to hear this. I sighed in relief, knowing that maybe we finally caught up with Sora-San, then I asked, "You say you saw my friends? Which way?"

Then DemiDevimon-San took to the sky and started flying in a direction, then he said, "This way, but we got to hurry before we lose them."

Me and Gomamon-San then chased after him, but I was feeling tired and I tried to tell DemiDevimon-San to slow down, but he just wouldn't listen to me. Not to mention that I was sure he was leading us the wrong way, especially with how many traps that we have been led into before. But who was I to question him? It's not like I knew my way around. Eventually we ended up at this restaurant, which at the time was good, because we were starving.

After we had stuffed our faces, we felt like we would explode, "Boy, I wish my mom cooked that good." I told Gomamon-San in my bliss of a full stomach.

To which he smiled widely and replied with, "Delicious."

That was when things went bad. We went to our waiter, Vegimon and he said, "And now, the bill."

I really should have asked what kind of payment they accepted before we ordered, because I tried to pay him with some Digi-Dollars, and said, "Of course, this should be enough."

But when he saw the money, he yelled at me and asked, "What are you, some kind of comedian, pal?"

That was when we realized that our money wasn't good here, when a Numemon jumped on the counter and said, "Here you go, Vegimon."

And when he jumped off the counter my eyes bulged at seeing money, real human money. 'Oh, boy. That's bad. I don't have any real money on me.' I blinked a couple of times, and I weakly asked, "D-dollar bills?"

Vegimon-San yelled at me, asking, "What did you expect?"

I was panicking here, then I said, "Well, I was, um...All I have are Digi-Dollars." 'Oh, boy, this is not going to end well.' I thought to myself. If only Luke-San was here, he was always the one telling us to always be cautious.

And boy, was I ever right. Then Vegimon-San folded his vines and asked, "Some play money is all you have?"

I knew that moment I heard Vegimon-San's tone that I was doomed. I could see it now, I was going to be the next meal, oh boy, oh no. I was panicking, I felt like my heart was going to burst from my chest and run away.

Then I could tell that Vegimon-San was close to losing it when he said, "So, what I'm hearing is you actually thought I'd let you eat without paying!?"

*** Returning to Matt's POV***

After hearing that story, I think I understood what was happening and I asked, "And now he's making you cook he food to pay him back." It sounded fair. Work to pay off the food you ate.

But then Joe-San nodded lightly, before he looked down and said, "When I'm not doing dishes or scrubbing the toilets."

Then Vegimon-San burst through the kitchen doors and yelled out, "Hey, what's going on here!? I'm not getting richer with you chitchattering!" Joe-San didn't respond and instead looked like he was close to having a nervous breakdown, so Vegimon-San yelled out, "What? You want me to say pretty please!? Dish out that stew!"

Then Joe-San panicked and returned to what he was doing and said, "Okay, all right, quit yelling or you're going to make me spill this all over my pants." He said as he poured the stew into a plate.

Vegimon-San took the stew and said, "Heh, about time." Vegimon then looked over to me and Gabumon-San and asked, "Who are these jokers?"

I saw this as an opportunity to try to get Joe-San out of his debt, then I said, "We're friends of Joe-San and Gomamon-San."

But it appeared as if Vegimon-San didn't really care about us, because he rolled his eyes and said, "Well, whoopty-do and good for you." Then Vegimon-San was about to take a bite out of Joe-San's stew, but before he did, he took a whiff of it, and in a rage, he threw the stew against the wall and said, "Ahh! Disgusting! I can't give that to my customers!"

Joe-San looked down, fear clear on his face, his entire body seemed to shaking like a leaf as he said, "Um, but I-"

But Vegimon-San wasn't in the mood to listen to him, and the yellow vegetable yelled out, "Now you'll work an extra day for the ingredients you wasted."

Then I watched as Joe-San literally paled paler than paper as he asked, "Another day?"

I saw how pale Joe-San got, and I knew that couldn't be good. Then I asked, "One more day? On top of how long, Joe-San?"

Joe-San then looked at me sadly, then he said, "Well, you see, it was only supposed to be for three days, but I kept on making mistakes, and it got longer." I watched as Joe-San practically started crying as he said, "Now I'm up to over six weeks."

Ouch. Then Vegimon-San began to growl, then he finally yelled out, "And he still owes me for all the wasted food, not to mention the broken dishes!"

That was when I met the boss of this establishment, because just then, a Digimon walked in looking like a giant DigiEgg, with green dinosaur feet, red claws, and a broken part of the shell, where the eyes peered through. Then the egg asked, in a voice that reminded me of a cartoon version of Frankenstein's loyal servant, or some kind of movie villain, "What's all the commotion in here. The customers are complaining!"

We didn't know it yet, but Digitamamon-Teme, Kami, Luke-San is starting to become a bad influence on us, was an evil Digimon, fully Digivolved and protected by his Digi-Eggshell. Digitamamon-San then walked up to us, then I asked, "Excuse me, are you the restaurant owner? My friend's been working like crazy to pay off one lousy meal. Can't he go now?"

I saw the glare that Digitamamon-San was giving me, and I kid you not, I felt a cold chill rush through me as he glared at me, then he asked, "Are you kidding me? This guy's not going anywhere. Of course, if you want to, YOU can stay and work with him to help pay off his debt."

I was taken back by this, and I asked, "Who, me?" Yeah, right, I'm not leaving Takeru-Kun alone any longer than I have already. "Gomen'nasai, but I have places I need to be."

Then Digitamamon-San walked out the door and said, "If you won't help him, then just go away." As he jumped down the steps, he said, "You're no use to me."

Then I heard Joe-Sane complain as he said, "I feel ill. I'm allergic to kitchen work."

The lack of motivation in Joe's voice was really depressing, then I asked, "What are you saying?" How can he be ready to give up so easily? Man, if Rouge was here, she'd find some way to annoy him into doing something productive. That, or Luke-Kun would LITERALLY push him out of here. Or, should I say, point that crossbow at his back and just tell him to keep moving. Joe-San always was the one who got under Luke-Kun's skin so effortlessly. I mean, not even ROUGE was able to annoy him that fast.

Joe-San then hunched over in defeat as he said, "Oh, just never mind."

As much as I would love to help this guy, I can't leave Takeru-Kun alone any longer, I have been gone long enough and I don't want to leave him at that park by himself any longer than he has been. I then stared to head out the door and I told Joe-San, "Look, I've got to go and find Takeru-Kun, but after I do, we'll come back here and help you work off your debt, okay?"

Joe-San looked at me in surprise, hope burning in his eyes as he asked, "Really? You will?"

I nodded with a small smile and said, "That's what friends do. They help each other out. Tai-San would do the same, so will Luke-San. And Olette-San is like an over worried Okāsan at times. We're a team, we help each other out, no matter how tough things are."

When I said that, Joe-San actually started crying, but this time, they were tears of joy and he said, "I'll always remember this, Matt-San."

I smiled then I headed out and said, "Well, I'll see you when we get back, Joe-San, take care. Come on, Gabumon-San."

Gabumon-San nodded towards Joe-San and Gomamon-San and said, "Make sure Joe-San stays out of trouble, Gomamon-San."

As we were walking to our boat, we then heard a voice call out, "Where are you going?" Both me and Gabumon-San turned and saw that Digitamamon-San was running up to us, then he said, "You're not finished, I checked the schedule."

I blinked in confusion, already warning bells were ringing in my mind. The past month or so with Luke-San being the overprotective, over paranoid of the group rubbed off me, and I actually think that it was a good thing. But, at that moment, I didn't fully understand my sudden paranoia, but I foolishly filed it away as Luke-San's unhealthy paranoia rubbing off of me, then I asked, "Schedule?"

Then Digitamamon-San stomped his foot angrily and said, "The work schedule. Now get inside and start cocking, or you're fired."

'Is this guy for real?' I asked myself. Fine then, I'll play his game. I folded my arms and turned away as I said, "I quit. How's that?"

That must have scrambled the egg Digimon, no pun intended, because he threw a tamper as he said, "You can't quit! I say you stay!"

Okay, this guy was starting to annoy me, then I turned to him and asked, "What's the big deal, egghead? I'm coming right back. Besides, you already got a slave working in your kitchen." C'mon, I got to get back to my Otouto before he starts to think something happened to me.

But Digitamamon-San suddenly turned and his entire tone changed as he said, "Oh, I see. So you don't care what happens to your friend while you're gone. Selfish, aren't we?"

Just then, I felt an uneasy feeling rush over me, and I didn't like it one bit. I turned to him and asked, "What are you talking about?" Yeash, one minute this guy wants me out of his restaurant, now he's trying to make me work there?

But the talking egg said, "I'm just saying, while you're away, there's no telling what might happen to your poor little friend. So many accidents can happen in the kitchen, you know." He then started laughing darkly

Okay, now this guy is getting on my nerves. "Is that a threat?" I gritted my teeth at this egg, who does he think he is, threatening my friends.

But, Gabumon-San tried to calm me down, he grabbed me by the arm and said, "Easy, Yamato. He's already cracked."

But I was still angry at this punk. I folded my arms in anger and grunted. "Hmm..." As much as I didn't like this, I had to protect Joe-San, whatever it takes.

But I soon found out, that Joe-San is annoying, no matter where he is. "This water's hot. If I had some rubber gloves, my fingers wouldn't get all wrinkled."

'Man, does Joe-San have to complain about everything?' I sighed, trying to keep my cool, but Joe-San isn't helping me.

Speaking of The Complainer, as I heard Luke-San and Rouge call him more times than I care to count, he then asked me, "So, hey, what are you making over there?" But I didn't answer him, then I felt him look over my shoulder as he asked, "Is there some reason you're not talking to me? I mean, I know you think I can be irritating sometimes; Rouge-San won't stop commenting about it, and Luke-San would always tell me it to my face, but what gives? Yamato?"

I couldn't answer him, strictly because Digitamamon's threat still lingered in my mind. "So many accidents can happen in the kitchen. So many accidents. Ha ah ha ah ha-ha!"

'As annoying as Joe-San is, I just can't leave him here alone.' I thought to myself, knowing as the holder of the Crest Of Friendship, that I couldn't just abandon one of my friends. 'The Crest Of Friendship, the Crest Of The Frost, The Crest... Of The Arctic Wolf. Kinda a weird thing to be.'

That was when I heard Joe-San ask, "Did you hear me? Hello? Digital World to Yamato. Come in, Yamato."

'Although, he does talk a lot. Man, I am beginning to miss Rouge. As annoying as she can be with her name calling and zero respect for all of us, she was the only one who could actually get Joe-San to shut up.' I thought bitterly to myself. 'That, and Luke-San had a LOT more patience than many would believe. Must be the two lifetimes he's lived. He really does live up to his self-proclaimed role as order keeper. Why couldn't I get stuck with him? Oh, wait, yeah, he and his brother and girlfriend and Digimon vanished into thin air.'

That was when Joe-San asked me, "Weren't you going to go get Takeru-Kun? If you want to leave, that's all right with me."

'All right, that does it.' I turned to Joe-San and yelled out, "I decided not to go!" Man, can't Joe-San take a hint? I would've thought all the times that Rouge and Luke-San threatened to kill Joe-San would've taught him not to complain. Though, we all know that Luke-San wouldn't actually hurt Joe-San, Olette-San wouldn't let him. And I don't even think Rouge would even waist her time on him anymore.

Joe-San then looked down and he sadly said, "Hey, wow, I'm sorry if I said something to make you mad."

After I went back to cooking, I realized what it was that I said to Joe-San. "Huh?" I said in surprise. 'Man, I can't believe what a jerk I'm being. Joe-San's just trying to be nice, and make some small talk, and here I am, biting off his head.' I then took a deep breath, to try and calm my nerves, something that Luke-San has talked about in passing every once in a while, now I can see how he is able to always keep his calm. Then, while still looking at the food I was making, I said, "Hey, I'm sorry." Joe-San was taken back by this, then I said, "I didn't mean to yell at you, okay? I guess I was just thinking about something else. You know, everyone separated, the six still missing, and now, I guess the stress is just getting to me."

Joe-San than looked at his Crest Of Reliability, then softly said, "Oh, yeah." It looked like he had a far-off expression, like he was thinking of something, but he remained silent.

I turned to him and smiled, trying to return the calmness of the room, I said, "Anyways, I'm a really good cook. Everything would go faster if we worked together. And then we'll be out of here in no time."

Joe-San then sweated a little, then he said, "All right. I guess that sounds like a plan."

Then Gomamon-San smiled up at us and said, "I make a mean PB and J, you know."

"And I'm an expert at boiling water." Gabumon-San said, a smile beaming all over his face.

Joe-San then looked a little more relaxed as he said, "All right, then, we can do it."

I smiled, then asked, "Then what are we waiting for? Let's get to work!" But then as I turned back to the pot, I silently glared at the pot in front of me and thought, 'Hang on, Takeru-Kun. I got to solve this first. Tai-San, Luke-San, Olette-San, wherever you three are, please hurry back. I just want someone I can trust to look after Takeru-Kun.' While Tai-San may be a Baka, and I really hate how Luke-San and Olette-San seem to get along with my Otouto, but they act more like over protective parents to Takeru-Kun, and I really appreciate that.

But, as the days went by, more and more trouble headed our way. It seemed like no matter what I did, Joe-San would always end up messing something up. From dropping plates that costed us three more days, to Joe-San accidentally burning someone's meal, that costed us another week. It seemed like no matter how hard I worked, Joe-San would always cost us more and more days here. I swear, I'm beginning to wonder if Joe is actually this clumsy, or what.

And every time our days get extended, the shorter and shorter my limit becomes. Then I heard Joe-San awkwardly say, "Boy, oh, boy. I don't understand why I'm so accident prone. Okay, maybe balancing plates on a platter isn't one of my natural skills, but now it seems worse than ever. Gomen'nasai, Yamato."

While I was stirring up some soup, I thought to myself, 'Something just isn't right about this. Yeah, Joe-San is a bit of a klutz, but not even he is this accident prone. Something just doesn't add up.'

But then I heard a plate crash and I tightly gripped the soup spoon I was holding and thought, 'Then again...' I turned and glared at Joe-San, who had once again dropped another plate full of food.

Then Joe-San said, "That did it. I snapped."

I slowly turned to my soup and while holding in my frustration, I said, "Mm-hmm." I was really getting angry at Joe-San right now. Then I slowly said, "It's okay. Don't worry about it." I was really getting frustrated here. Either something is wrong, or Joe-San is doing this on purpose. 'Half of what I cook ends up on the floor, and the other half is on his clothes. This job is giving me a killer headache. Please tell me this all just a bad dream. Yeah, that's it, it's just a dream. When MetalGreymon-San and DoruGreymon-San destroyed Etemon-Baka, I was just knocked out, and I have been stuck in a dream.'

Yeah, that was it, this is just a bad dream, I'm gonna count to ten, and then I'm gonna wake up, and Luke-San is gonna be hovering over my head looking at me in concern. 'Okay, I'm going to count to ten, and when I open my eyes, I will see the others, and I won't be stuck here with Joe-San. One. Two. Three. Four. Five. Six. Seven. Eight. Nine. Ten.' Then I opened my eyes, and to my utter disappointment, I was still in this restaurant. 'Nope, not a dream, just a waking nightmare.' I sighed in annoyance.

Then as the night started to come, I looked towards Joe-San and said, "Bring me some potatoes, will you, Joe-San?"

Joe-San turned to me and nervously said, "All right, coming right up!"

***Point of View change, Sora***

So, here we are, watching as Joe-San and Matt-San suffer at the hands of DemiDevimon and Digitamamon. Biy-Chan looked to me in worry as she said, "Sora-San, I don't like this."

I sighed sadly and slowly nodded and said, "Neither do I, Biy-Chan. Neither do I."

We were then forced to watch as DemiDevimon removed a brick from the bench holding the potatoes, then as DemiDevimon flew off, I looked to Biy-Chan and nodded, then I quietly ran up to the potatoes, then I replaced the brick that was missing, then I returned to our hiding spot behind a silo to watch what would happen.

Then Biy-Chan looked to me and asked, "Think it will work?" Her voice was a bit too loud and she could've given us away.

I turned to her and placed my finger to my mouth and quietly said, "Quiet, Biy-Chan."

I turned to the top of the tree and watched with a small sense of satisfaction as DemiDevimon-Baka gritted his teeth in rage, kinda like how Luke-Otouto gets some kind of joy outta annoying his enemy's half to death. Which, while highly immature, he has explained the benefits of such style.

"The reason I annoy the ever living hell outta my opponents, as dangerous as it can be, is because, I understand that, while an angry, or in some cases, a furious opponent is dangerous, they also never use their heads when enraged." I remember Luke-Otouto once saying after his dangerous fight against Phobos. "So, in that regard, the more enraged my opponents are, the more likely they are to make a mistake that I can exploit. Is it an underhanded tactic? Yes, absolutely. But, you MUST remember, we have to fight for our survival. Meaning, that we must learn how to use every trick in the book in order to come out on top. Right now, we have to do whatever it takes to get the job done, and if that means using, vicious battle tactics in order to do so, than, what choice do we have? This is life or death situations that we're in. We can't always afford to be goody-goody two shoes around here. Not with Digimon on the likes of Devimon-Teme, Etemon-Baka and Myotis…"

It was that last name that caused Luke-Otouto to hesitate, and I saw something that I never saw before, anger and rage, but it wasn't at me, no. The rage was aimed at someone else, but the rage was quick, but noticeable, there was something about whatever name Otouto was gonna say that just completely changed his personality. And it wasn't a good change. It wasn't the obvious, restrained eye twitching anger that he got when Rouge-Chan found a new way to tick him off, nor was it the annoyed anger that he got when Joe-San got into one of his depressed moods. No. This one was different. A quiet rage. And that was terrifying. Otouto was always the most collected of us all. Not even Koshiro-San was as calm as him. And to see him actually restrain a huge amounts of rage is a big deal.

And I knew why. It was something that was tied to our future. During those five days at sea, Otouto told us that he wouldn't tell us anything about the future, but during the third night at sea, Takeru-Kun innocently asked if they were any serious Digimon that were very dangerous, and his entire attitude completely changed. He went into that scarily serious persona that was very frightening to witness, I don't think any of us were prepared for how he would react to just a simple question. But, I heard him mumble something under his breath. "I promised that I would prevent that from happening. No matter what I have to do." Now, I have no idea as to what Otouto was talking about, but then the SkullGreymon incident happened and at first I thought that that was what he was talking about. But, now, I think it has to do with whatever this 'Myotis' Digimon might be.

'Now that I realize it, I've been calling Luke-Otouto my younger brother since he, Tai-Kun and Olette-Chan worked together to save me from Datamon-Baka.' It was a kinda sweet, though, that Luke-Otouto, who acts more like a second or third in command of our team, and the mature voice of reason would look to me as an older sister.

Shaking my head back to the present, I then turned to Biy-Chan and gave her a thumbs up before I smiled and said, "All's going good."

But Biy-Chan looked down sadly, then she asked, "Sora-San, are we doing the right thing?"

I blinked in surprise at this question, and asked, "Huh? What do you mean, Biy-Chan? Of course we are. We're keeping Matt-San and Joe-San from being slaves for the rest of their lives."

But Biy-Chan shook her head, then she softly said, "No, not that. I mean, hiding from our friends. Do you really think that we are doing the right thing by staying in the shadows?"

I could see what Biy-Chan was talking about, then I sat down and leaned against the tree as I said, "It's the least we can do. It's what we have to do. Without Tai-Kun's leadership and Luke-Otouto's guidance, the whole team just fell apart. We have to do what we can to keep Yamato and Jyoe from being at each other's throat. You know that, Biy-Chan."

But Biy-Chan looked down sadly, then she said, "Yeah, but, why can't we go and help them in person? Why must we stick to the shadows?"

Now I see. I looked down at my Crest Of Love, then I said, "Because, sometimes the best way to help out your friends, and not get them into trouble, is to stick to the shadows. That's what Luke-Otouto did to protect us from his secrets, remember?"

Biy-Chan nodded, be it, not too happily, then she said, "Yes, but remember how torn up he was when his secret was revealed to us by Devimon-Baka? It looked like he had died. Sticking to the shadows is a good way to help our friends, but at what cost? Are we really doing the right thing? Are we really protecting our friends? Or are we just protecting ourselves?"

As much as I hated to admit it, she was right, but, I can't bring myself to show my face to them yet. I once again looked down at my Crest and thought, 'After all, I'll never be able to use my Crest, anyway. Not in the way that Otouto or even Tai-Kun have been able to do. I mean, Luke-Otouto's determination to protect all of us has granted him the ability to do things beyond human nature. And Tai-Kun's unwavering Courage allowed him to harness the powers of those black flames. And when we stayed at the pyramids at least for a few days, hoping that they were just blown away somewhere else, we used one of the black flames as our fire, they stayed lit for days before going out. I don't think I could ever be able to do that. And no matter what Biy-Chan says to me, I just can't bring myself to believe that I know what love it. I really don't know what love really is. Luke-Otouto and Olette-Chan do, but not me.'

That was when I heard a women's voice say, "You really don't believe that, do you, Sora-San?" I didn't even react at the voice, I may not know who she is, I have been hearing her voice for a while now, and while I want to agree with her, I can't bring myself to accept what she has told me, "Love is more than just an emotion, more than your Crest. It's power, it's joy, hope, and it is stronger than you could ever believe, and you have that power within you. I know you do, Sora-San. You just have to believe in yourself."

I shook my head in denial, then I thought, 'But I can't. Love is just something I know nothing about. I don't know who you are, but as much as I would like to agree with you, I can't bring myself to believe that I know what love is.'

Then I felt a small warmth coming from inside my heart, as Tai-Kun's big stupid grinning face suddenly appeared, then the voice said, "Do you really believe that, Sora-San?"

I couldn't answer the voice, mostly because, I didn't know what to say, Tai-Kun, Luke-Otouto, and Olette-Chan rushed through the pyramid to save me. 'Is that really what love is?' I asked myself, and while I was actually hoping to hear the woman's voice again, this time, she didn't answer me. I sat down and clutched my knees and softly whispered a half-hearted, "Tai-Baka." Then I remembered when I first obtained my Crest. 'The Crest Of Love. The Crest of the Eternal Flame. The Crest of The Phoenix. Just what does that even mean?'

***Returning to Matt's POV***

After finishing up our shift for the day, I decided to return to the boat to sit at the beach. I looked up at the night sky and began to think. 'Man, who would have thought that Luke-San was right about the beauty of the night sky.' I looked towards the swan boat that brought me here, and I can't believe it.

'It's been almost a week since those guys suddenly vanished and we still don't know where they went. And Takeru-Kun. I just hope he and Patamon-San are having fun. Yeah, I know they are. Heh, I bet they are having a blast.' But then I felt a tear build up in my eyes, then I bitterly thought, 'Oh, who am I kidding? Takeru-Kun's probably worried sick about me. Poor little guy. I really am jealous about how he, Tai-Baka, and Luke-San all seem to get along. But, I just can't bring myself to hate them, they've lived together all their lives, but me and Takeru-Kun?'

I shook my head, then I took out my harmonica and started to play music. It was like how I was feeling, sad and depressing. I was suddenly brought back to a time when we were all separated, after Devi-Bakamon revealed Luke-San's dark secret.

*FLASHBACK NO JUTSU! Subzero Ice Punch*

It was after Tachi started to grapple me to the ground and I cried out at how worried I was about Takeru-Kun, Taichi looked down at me before letting of me and then sitting next to me and he softly said, "Yeah, I know how you feel, Yamato."

I was taken aback by how soft his voice was, even the Digimon were quiet. I sat up rather quickly and asked, "Really?" I asked in shock, "Even after learning that he knew what was gonna happen to us? You're STILL worried about him? Why?" But, I already knew the answer, because it was why I was so worried about Takeru-Kun.

Or, so I thought, "You didn't see his face, Yamato. You didn't see what I saw." Taichi said, his voice serious, and the look on his face was something I have never seen before.

And that terrified me. Fearfully, I slowly asked, "What was it? What did you see, Taichi?"

"I saw how broken he looked. For ten years I have seen him with many different expressions on his face, the one that I saw the most is that fox like grin that says that he has a trickster plan in his head. There have been times where the looks Luke-Chan gave me terrified me. And I have seemed him dead serious once before."

This intrigued me, because when Luke-San became serious, it surprised all of us, because of how, easy, it was for him to get serious, and to learn that Taichi had seen him serious once before? "Why haven't you mentioned this before, Taichi?"

But instead of a cocky smile where he would say that he didn't want to ruin a good surprise, he instead sadly said, "Because, this serious look was used on me once before. And well…" Taichi went silent, I looked to him, and I saw that he was crying.

"Taichi?" I asked him in slight worry.

Taichi rubbed his eyes before he moved his goggles over them, almost as if he didn't want to be caught crying, but we all knew that I saw. "It was a few years ago, Otouto had me promise something, something really important, and, I, I failed to keep my word. I screwed up. Bigtime. And I mean, REALLY bigtime. Kāsan was furious at me, but that was NOTHING compared to the utter look of loathing and betrayal on Kouki's face. It actually looked like he wanted to KILL me. We've seen how Shadow Gatomon is able to get under his skin, but, the anger and rage that he showed me that day? It was something that you never thought you could see on an eight year old. It was like that episode of Dragon Ball Z, where Gohan went berserk against Cell after the death of Android 16 during the Cell Games. He was serious, Kouki was NEVER serious. Not like this."

I was scared, what could've Taichi done to make Luke-San want to murder his own Nii-San…

'Oh, no.' I suddenly thought to myself in shock.

I remember Kouki mentioning that they had an Imouto, Hikari. I think that was her name, and her weak immune system. "Taichi, what did you do?" I asked him in concern.

But Taichi shook his head, like he didn't WANT to remember what it was that terrified him, then he said, "The truth is, I have seen have different attitudes and, different, personalities of Luke-Chan depending on the situation, but, I've never seen him so, broken. And, despite how he practically lied to us, he's still my precious Otouto, and I can't help but to worry about him."

*Flashback no Jutsu Kai*

That was the day where I learned that, even after everything he did, Tai-San still cared for Luke-San. I guess I got lost in my own music and the past, because I got spooked, not that I'll ever tell anyone, but a voice coming from behind me. "That's a beautiful sound."

I jumped a little, then I turned and saw a small bat like creature, and said, "Huh? Where'd you come from?" I don't know why, but there was something about this guy that just didn't set right with me.

Then the little critter said, "I was just passing by when I heard the sound of your music. You're very good. I'm a bat Digimon. We have good hearing. And it sounds as if you're worried about something."

I was surprised at this, perhaps I was wrong about him, but, still… Wanting to settle this uneasy feeling, I then asked, "How could you tell?"

Then the little bat looked down at my harmonica and he said, "A musical instrument often reflects the feelings of the person who's playing it." As he spoke, I could feel that he was right, but I was also still getting that feeling that I shouldn't trust this guy. Then he said, "Your music sounds sad, so I figure that you're sad about something. I wonder if you're hurting yourself to help out a friend."

Then I looked down at the sea, thinking about it, I was starting to see that he was right, I was hurting myself, all for Joe-San's sake, and I turned to him then asked, "And how would you know?"

Then the bat looked down and in a sad voice, he said, "Well, it's obvious what's happening at the restaurant. I see what your friend is up to."

Okay, why is this guy giving me a bad feeling now? My suspicion about this guy just cranked up to 11. What was it that Luke-San used to say when he felt something was wrong? That he felt a disturbance in the Force? I am now starting to understand that motion, and I wasn't liking it one bit. Cautiously I turned to the bat and asked, "What are you talking about?" Seriously, first this mon seemed like a cool mon, but now it feels like I'm being led into a trap. I shook my head and thought, 'I really have been hanging out with Luke-San for too long. Now I am starting to think that everything is a trap.'

Then the little bat closed his eyes, and he softly said, "I think he's making those mistakes on purpose."

Okay, this can't be true, then I voiced my opinion, and said, "He can't be."

Then he nodded and said, "I know it's hard to believe, but I think it's true. He's trying to keep you here, just so you won't leave him there alone."

I looked down and said, "No, that can't be true. Not him. Jyoe would never do that to me." But I couldn't bring myself to believe my own words, no matter how much I believe them to be true, this little bat seemed to be making me doubt myself.

Then the bat said, "You're a nice guy. But remember. Nice guys wind up washing dishes for the rest of their lives!" Then he took off flying away from the sea.

I looked back down to the swan boat and said, "Jyoe? Can't be. Or, could it?" I looked down at my Crest of Friendship and thought, 'Is he really abusing our friendship, just to keep me here?'

Once the next day started, I asked Digitamamon-San to let me go look for my Otouto, but he wouldn't let me. Then I said, "Listen, I promise you I'll come back. You just have to let me go and get my Otouto."

But this cracked egg wouldn't listen to me, he turned away and said, "Oh, I can't do that."

Grr, what is the deal with this mon, I was literally begging to go look for Takeru-Kun, but he wouldn't let me search for him. "Please. It's really important."

Digitamamon-San turned away and angrily said, "No! Now get cooking before the customers start complaining."

I was really getting annoyed at this, it seems like no matter what I tried, this Digimon wouldn't let me leave, even though I would be gone for a day. But then things went worse.

I heard Jyoe call out, and then I heard the sound glass breaking, I turned and saw that all of the plates had just finished cleaning, were now broken on the floor. Then Digitamamon-San became enraged and he said, "Not more plates! That's another week for the both of you!"

I was getting angry, so I turned and asked, "What are you talking about? I can't stay here another week. I've got places to go."

Digitamamon-San turned right at me with a sharp glare before he angrily said, "You'll stay, all right. And no tips!"

I knelt down, barely restrained anger towards the eldest of our group, and asked, "Jyoe, why are you doing this?"

I could feel the look Jyoe was giving me before he asked, "Me? What? Do you think I'm doing this on purpose? You think I'm juggling plates while I'm washing them? Something tripped me."

Now, if I was calmer and more collected, I would have believed him, but I couldn't, my worry over my Otouto was blinding me, I balled my fists before I exclaimed, "Quite making up excuses!" Then I stood up and stormed out of the restaurant.

But just as I was leaving, I heard Joe-San softly say, "I'm not!" But I couldn't believe him, no matter what he says.

***POV Change, Lukas Kamiya***

We were walking through the forest looking for our friends, then Takeru-Kun rubbed his stomach and said, "I'm getting hungry. Can we eat?"

Ani looked at me before asking, "Hey, Luke-Chan, is it safe enough for us to eat at the moment?"

Ignoring the stupid nickname, I looked around the area, not seeing anything with my eyes, but still not feeling safe, I closed my eyes before stomping my foot onto the ground, and using my seismic sense I searched the area, then I once I was positive that we were in the clear, I opened my eyes and turned towards Nii-San and said, "Yeah, the coast is clear, I think we can rest here for a bit. after we eat, we can continue on our search for the others."

We all agreed, then as Olette-Chan and Rouge worked together to grab some fresh apples, they quickly returned and handed apples out to all of us, I gave her a proud smile, which made her blush very lightly, which I smiled at.

I took a bite out of my apple, then I turned to my Nii-San and asked, "Hey, Taichi, I have a question."

Tai-Nii looked at me with a raised eyebrow before he said, "I'm listening."

I took another bite out of my apple, then I threw the rest to Dorumon, who ate it with one bite, then I summoned my shield and said, "How about you and I do some training?" Ani looked at me in confusion, I lowered my arms before sighing, then said, "Look, I know that we have to look for our friends, but now that we have our powers, we too, must fight for what is right. And while I am confident in my skills, I noticed that you never really use your sword other than to unleash a wave of flames. And nothing else. True, you haven't really had the need to do so, but I think it would be best if you were to train in actual sword combat."

I saw Tai-Nii raise his eyebrow slightly higher as he asked, "And how can you teach me? I seem to remember that you mostly use a crossbow, or in some cases a bowgun, how can that teach me how to use a sword?"

I looked to Takeru-Kun, then at Olette-Chan, then at the Digimon, then finally at Tai-Nii, then I said, "Ani. Have you completely forgotten about my other weapon Modify Card?" I then pulled out the card and said, "Leomon's Beast Sword, Activate!" Then my Modify Card began glowing then in my hands was Leomon's sword, then I said, "I have used this sword enough times to be somewhat proficient at it. And I can give you some tips on how to properly fight using it."

Tai-Baka seemed to finally understand me, then he shrugged said, "Well, okay, might as well use this time wisely." Tai-Nii then out stretched his hand, and in a flash of black fire, he was now holding his sword. It still amazed me that, of all colors of fire that Nii-San could have obtained, it was the legendary Black Flames of Amaterasu. Yes, I knew that his Crestal Spirit IS Amaterasu, but to see the legendary flames of the Mangekyou Sharingan in person. Even though they're not the same thing, well, I don't THINK they're the same, but to see something like this in person, it just amazes me.

Tai-Nii nodded at me, then I took up a fighting stance, then I said, "Right now, we will start out with your offensive capabilities. I will be on the defensive, and you will have to break through my guard. I want to know if you can truly take on a powerful Digimon, without having to waste so much energy using your element."

Tai-Nii then took a fighting stance mirroring my own, then he asked, "Wasting so much energy using my element? What do you mean?" Tai-Nii then charged at me; sword held up high, ready to strike.

Just as his sword came down on me, I lifted the Beast Sword up in a sideways motion, and blocked his attack, locking blades with him, I will admit, his strength IS impressive, but after what feels like a month of fighting Digimon with the Beast Sword, I have the advantage, but because Ani is slightly taller than me, he is able to use that to HIS advantage.

Deciding to focus back on the training, I lifted my sword up, and launched Tai-Nii back, then I twirled the sword and held it in a reverse grip and said, "You may not notice it at first, and while I can't say the same about myself, I know that, just by practicing using my element, that it takes a lot out of me. And I know for a fact that you must feel that exhaustion, maybe not at first, but if you only focus on one aspect of your power, you will tire out quickly, and then you'll be useless, and wide open for, as we say in Yugioh, a direct attack."

Tai-Nii then took a few breaths, then he ran at me again, this time slashing at me repeatedly, then he said, "Yeah? Then how come you can fire off arrow after arrow of your attacks, and not be drained, huh, Luke-San?"

As he spoke, I blocked every possible attack that I could, and those that I wasn't quick enough with my sword, I blocked with my shield, then I said, "Because, using my Modify Cards also tires me out, and I have learned to increase, not only my stamina, thanks to the HyperChip card, or my limit of how many arrows I can fire, but also my strategic mind."

I said as I countered each and every attack Tai-Nii had made, then I said, "With each Modify Card, I have to have a goal of what it is I need to do. I wouldn't activate my Dark Archery card to fight someone who is more of a up close and personal kind of fighter, and I wouldn't use Leomon's Beast Sword to fight a flying opponent. Although, I COULD throw the Beast Sword at a flying opponent. IF they are staying in one place, and distracted, but then I would be without a sword. You need to learn when to use your abilities at the proper time. And you must also learn how to combine our powers as well."

As we were conversing, I think that Tai-Nii was starting to improve, it wasn't by a huge margin, but it was impressive. Then I saw Ani's sword begin to glow, then he moved his sword over his chest, and as he extended his blade, he called out, "Amaterasu no Inferuno!"

And sent a huge wave of black flames at me, as I saw the flames rushing towards me, I couldn't help myself as to smile as I thought, 'Now you are understanding the concept of using your weapon and your element together. So, you think this will work, Susanoo-San?'

At that moment, Susanoo-San replied with, "I do believe that it will, all you have to do, is clear your mind, and call out to the earth, then, it should respond to you."

I gave Susanoo-San a mental nod as I watched as the fire rushed towards me, but then I did what Susanoo-San told me to do. I cleared my mind, placed the Beast Sword in its hilt, dismissed my shield, and then, I called out to the earth, and I could feel it respond to me, then I opened my eyes, and just as the fire was about to hit me, I called out, "Susanō no chikyū no gādian!" Then I raised my arms skyward and watched as the ground above me shot straight up, and stopped the fire, dead in its tracks.

After the smoke cleared, I smirked, and lowered the earth and saw the exhausted form of Tai-Nii, leaning against his sword slammed into the ground, then I said, "Well, I guess that we're both improving, wouldn't you agree, Ani?" Even though I am not exhausted, I am slightly winded. Using my Earth element is not as easy as using my shield, crossbow, or even my Modify Cards. Speaking of which, I dismissed the sword.

Then I rubbed my brow, feeling the sweat drip from my face from the intense heat of the black flames and said, "Okay, how do you feel, Nii-San?"

Tai-Nii seemed to get his bearings, as he raised his sword from the ground and rested it on his shoulder, then he said, "I'm fine. What about you, Luke-Chan?"

I rubbed my nose, eye twitching, then I said, "Just slightly winded, nothing to be concerned about."

I was about to say more, when the sounds of beeping went off, all sense of joy and relaxation was gone, then Takeru-Kun asked, "What's that sound?"

Olette-Chan, Rouge, and Dorumon-San all ran up to us, then we all looked at our Digivices, and Tai-Nii said, "Our Digivices are going off again."

Then Agumon-San looked up at Tai-Nii and said, "Then that must mean that our friends are nearby."

Dorumon-San nodded and said, "He's right. They did the same thing when we found Takeru-San."

Olette-Hime floated up beside me as she smiled and asked, "Do you think that Matt-San is nearby?"

Takeru-Kun smiled brightly, Hope, pun slightly intended, bright in his eyes, and said, "Yeah! Maybe we can find my Onii-Chan!"

Tai-Nii smirked that confident smirk of his, then said, "And some real food. Don't get me wrong, apples are nice and all, but I can go for something hot."

And so, we saw a trail that led up a mountain, and we proceeded to follow it. Then we saw a restaurant, we all were excited. Then we ran at top speeds for the building. But once we opened the door, we were surprised to find, "Gomamon-San?" I asked in surprise. Not expecting to see the seal Digimon in this fine looking establishment.

Then Takeru-Chan looked towards a table and said, "Gabumon-San."

Gomamon-San looked up and smiled warmly at us and said, "Takeru-Kun. Tai-San."

"As well as Luke-San and Olette-San!" Gabumon-San replied with a smile.

"Hey, don't forget about us!" Replied Doru-San, that jokester smile clear on his face.

Takeru-Kun then ran up to Gabumon-San while saying, "If you're here, then that must mean that my Nii-San's here, too."

Then Rouge, looking as board as ever, said, "Same thing with Mister Complainer."

Olette-Hime looked down at Gomamon-San and asked, "Is that right, Gomamon-San?"

Gomamon-San nodded, but there was a weird expression on his face as he said, "You'll be correct. But..."

Me and Olette-Chan saw that something was bothering Gomamon-San, then we both asked, "Gomamon-San, what's wrong?" We both realized that we spoke in sync, and looked at one another, before lightly giggling, despite how serious this could be, it was kinda cute how we did that.

Gomamon-San looked down sadly, completely ignoring our little moment, then he said, "Jyoe can tell you about it."

We all blinked absolutely confused as to what has been going on since we went home, then Tai-Nii asked, "Jyoe?"

Gomamon-San nodded then he walked towards the back room and said, "Yeah, he's in the kitchen, come follow me."

And so we followed Gomamon-San into the kitchen, and there we saw, Kido Jyoe. Joe-San looked towards his partner, then asked, "Oh, Gomamon-San, are you and Gabumon-San done in the front?" He then turned around and was surprised to see us. "Tai-San, Luke-San, Olette-San! I'm so glad to see you guys."

Rouge then cleared her throat while looking at her claws, then Joe-San said, "Oh, and girls."

Rouge smiled ever so softly, it seemed as if she was being pleasant with the local complainer for the most part, and said, "That's better."

Then Joe-San looked around the kitchen as he said, "Please don't break anything."

Tai-Nii simply nodded, then he said, "Sure, but, what are you doing here?"

Takeru-Kun smiled warmly as he said, "Jyoe-San, it's great to see you, but where's Onii-Chan?"

I looked around and nodded, then I asked, "Yeah, where is Matt-San?"

Joe-San frowned at this question, then he said, "Oh, um, Matt-San's around back?"

Takeru-Kun cheered in joy and ran outside while calling out, "Onii-Chan?"

Once Takeru-Kun was outside, we all looked towards Joe-San and knew that something had happened since we vanished as my Nii-San asked, "So, what are you guys doing here?"

Joe-San didn't answer right away, but I looked around, then I saw the apron and asked, "Joe-San, are you working here?"

Joe-San didn't answer me, but I shrugged, and said, "Look, I'm going to talk to Matt-San, you guys can stay here and chat if you want to, it's not like we've got anywhere to go at the moment. Come on, guys."

We all walked outside and quickly followed after Takeru-Kun, we noticed that Matt-San was distracted at the sky that he didn't even hear Takeru-Kun running up to him, at least, not until Takeru-Kun was in Matt-San's face. "Hi, Onii-Chan."

Matt-San sat straight up fasted than me using HyperChip and said, "Oh, Takeru-Kun."

We decided to let the brothers have their moment, then Takeru-Kun hugged his Nii-San and said, "I thought I'd never see you again."

Matt-San was surprised to see his Otouto again, I could tell, then he asked, "Hey, kid, are you okay?"

Takeru-Kun smiled, then I turned and saw that Tai-Nii was behind me, then Takeru-Kun said, "I'm great now that we're together again."

Matt-San then seemed to realize something as he turned towards his Otouto and asked, "Wait a minute. How did you even get here?"

Seeing how he was completely oblivious to our arrival, I cleared my throat, then I said, "Well, Matt-San, good to see you again."

Matt-San quickly turned towards us and we watched as his eyes widened, "Luke-San? Tai-San? Olette-San? You're back?"

I smiled widely at the DigiDestined of Friendship and said, "Yep, and boy, is it good to be back."

Tai-Nii then walked up to Yamato and said, "So, it seems like something weird is going on around here."

Matt-San chuckled softly at this and said, "Yeah, you could say we got ourselves into some hot water."

Tai-Nii chuckled and said, "Oh, a cooking joke, have you been taking notes from Luke-Chan?" I growled at Nii-San, time and time again, and yet, he still doesn't listen.

But Matt-San didn't answer and instead, he looked down to Takeru-Kun and said, "I'm really sorry I didn't come back and keep my promise to get you, Takeru-Kun."

Takeru-Kun just smiled and said, "That's okay. I'm sure you would have if you could have, Matt-Onii."

Matt-San closed his eyes and a soft smile started to appear on his face as he said, "Anyhow, you're here, and that's what counts."

Tai-Nii shook his head, and as Joe-San walked out, Tai-Nii said, "No, what counts is that we get out of this weirdo place, and quick."

Gabumon-San than asked, "Nani? Run away?"

Rouge nodded and softly glared at the wolf Digimon and said, "He's right, Gabumon. No need for us to stick around anymore."

Tai-Nii nodded and said, "Of course run away. I don't see any guards around here."

I nodded and said, "Yeah, plus, we have to search for Izzy-San, Mimi-San, and Sora-Nee."

Matt looked away and folded his arms as he glared at a nearby tree and said, "I don't want to."

We were shocked, then Olette-Chan floated in front of Yamato and asked, "Nani? But, why not, Yamato-San?"

Matt closed his eyes and he said, "I'll leave when I'm ready. Anyway, I am not going anywhere with Joe-Baka." Joe-San actually seemed surprised at this, then Matt-San said, "He doesn't want to work together. He only cares about himself."

Okay, time to give Yamato a swift in the ass. I stomped up to Matt-San and asked, "And what does that mean, Captain Cold?" Using Rouge's nickname for the elder Ishida.

Matt-San looked at me, and for a second I thought I saw a glimmer of, something, in his eyes, and it only took me a second to realize what it was. Hatred. But, who was it aimed at? Before I could unravel in mystery of Yamato's hatred, he then turned his head and anger, that was when Tai-Nii yelled out, "How dare you say that? We're all friends here!"

Matt-San then stood up, glaring at my Nii-San, and he said, "Right. What friends? Oh, you mean this guy who deliberately wrecks everything to keep me here cooking rice until I'm an old geezer?"

This took all of by surprise, then Tai-Nii then pushed Yamato back a bit before he yelled out, "Hey, back off!"

And I walked back in front of Yamato, a moment away from bringing up my Earth Guardian to separate Yamato from anyone else, and I said, "Yeah, take it easy, Matt-San!"

Then Matt-San lashed out at the rest of us and said, "What about you, big shot? And you, Mr. Crossbow? Or you, Miss Ghost? You three are the ones who got us separated in the first place?"

Takeru-Kun then gripped Matt's hand, and cried out, "Matt, stop yelling! Aren't you glad..."

That was when Matt-San yelled at his Otouto and said, "Be quiet, Takeru-Kun!"

We were all surprised, but I was glaring, then Matt-San said, "Just be quite and come with me." He then started to storm away with his Otouto.

That was when we all heard a voice call out, "Well, well, well, you weren't planning on running away, now, were you? That would make me very angry."

We all turned and saw a large egg walking into the clearing, I gritted my teeth and said, "Wonderful, Digitamamon." I cracked my knuckles and said, "So, you're the head honcho around here, huh?"

That was when we heard a very familiar voice said, "Yes, that would be a very bad idea."

Then Joe-San looked up in confusion as he asked, "Hey isn't that..."

Me and Takeru-Kun shouted out, "DemiDevimon-Baka/Teme!"

Dorumon-San growled deeply at the small bat ball Digimon and said, "That's the evil Digimon who tricked Takeru-Kun into thinking Matt-San abandoned him!"

This caused Matt-San to growl deeply as he yelled out, "You lied!"

And even the spineless Joe-San had snapped at DemiDevimon as he said, "You lied to me to get me to come here," Then Joe-San clenched his fists as he said, "And you're the one wrecking everything."

Tai-San then summoned his sword as he said, "So, we're going to teach you a lesson. Agumon-San!"

The orange Digimon simply nodded, then he shouted out, "Pepper Breath!"

Then Tai-Nii brought his sword over his shoulder before extending it sideways and shouted out, "Amaterasu no Inferuno!"

One by one, we attacked, first Patamon-San, "Boom Bubble! Pop!"

Olette-Chan then took out her D-Ark and a Modify Card and said, "DigiModify, Shellmon's Hydro Blaster!"

Rouge then put her claws together as water started to swirl in between them, almost like the start of the Rasengan, then she yelled out, "Hydro Blaster!"

But DemiDevimon-Teme dodged all of the attacks. Then he flew away. I aimed my crossbow at him and said, "You know, I still haven't hit you enough yet to satisfy me. So, Aporo no kami no ya!" And I fired off my emerald colored arrow at the flying bat. But he dodged my attack. "Grr." I growled out, then I turned towards Nii-San and said, "Tai-Nii, you, Takeru-Kun and your Digimon take care of DemiDevimon-Teme, the rest of us will help Matt-San out."

Tai-Nii nodded then he, Agumon-San, Patamon-San, and Takeru-Kun all chased after DemiDevimon-Teme, only then did I realize that I was starting to sound like the team leader, but I quickly ignored it and focused back towards the task at hand. Then Digitamamon-Teme said, "How dishonest, trying to leave without paying me."

Matt-San then gripped his fist tightly and he angrily said, "You're a thief! We've worked here long enough to pay for a trip to Hawaii."

That was when Digitamamon-Baka started to burn up, literally. Then he stomped his foot and said, "Hawaii's not on the schedule," Then he started to grow in size, and he said, "but if you insist, I'll send you to the moon!" Then the hole in his shell closed up, and he charged at Matt-San, but he dodged out just in time to avoid being turned into a pancake.

Then Digitamamon-Baka angrily said, "You want to leave, you'll have to beat me first!"

I smirked as I pushed my sunglasses down, then I raised my D-Ark skyward and said, "Fine with me. Yamato, Digivolving time!" And Yamato nodded as he held his Digivice by his side, and I watched as it lit up. "Digivolution, ACTIVATE!" I don't understand why I say that, but, I like to think that it's just a force of habit. I mean, it could be my battle cry, but I think it's just nothing more than a fun little thing of mine.

D-I-G-I-V-O-L-U-T-I-O-N

And in a flash of light, Garurumon-San and Dorugamon-San were now standing strong. Then Garurumon-San unleashed a stream of blue fire as he shouted out, "Howling Blaster!"

Then Dorugamon-San charged up an iron sphere in his mouth as he called out, "Power Metal!" Then he fired that large ball of iron at the large egg.

Rouge smirked a sadistic smirk as she said, "Surfs Up, Egghead! Hydro Blaster!"

Then with the rushing water giving Dorugamon-San's Power Metal a boost, all three attacks struck at Digitamamon-Baka's shell, but he closed his shell, and there wasn't even a scratch on the shell.

Then Gomamon-San gasped said, "His shell is closed, so the attacks had no effect."

I aimed at the shell, then I said, "Yeah? Well, how about this, Aporo no kami no ya! Hah!"

And in a blast of green light, my arrow fired at Digitamamon-Teme, but once the arrow hit, it didn't even make a dent.

I snapped my fingers and said, "Kuso! That should have worked!"

Digitamamon-San opened his shell, then he laughed darkly and said, "Yes, too bad for you kids." Then he closed his shell again and charged at Garurumon-San, knocking him off his paws, and onto his back.

Matt-San ran up to his partner and yelled out, "Garurumon-San!"

That was when we all heard Takeru-Kun's voice call out, "ONII-CHAN!"

We all looked up in horror as we saw that a Vegimon was holding Takeru-Kun upside down by his feet, then he said, "Call off your beasts."

Then Takeru-Kun shouted out, "Onii-Chan! Help me!"

Then Digitamamon-Teme once again laughed darkly as he said, "How nice. Your little brother decided to hang around. Hehe." Then he dashed at Garurumon-San.

I gave Dorugamon-San a look, then he nodded and charged up another iron sphere, then he dashed at Digitamamon-San, and shouted out, "Cannonball!"

The sudden attack took him by surprise, but that didn't last long, and soon Dorugamon-San was getting tossed around like rag doll. Then Takeru-Kun shouted out, "Matt-Nii, Luke-Nii, somebody, get me down!"

That was when the unthinkable happened, Joe-San grew a spine and he said, "That's going too far. I've had it!"

That was when Joe-San's Digivice began glowing and soon Gomamon-San began glowing as well, and soon, Ikkakumon-San was now standing proud. Ikkakumon-San then started to poke at Vegimon-Teme, who said, "Yow! Hey, back off, fur ball, or the kid's lunch meat!"

We were forced to watch as Takeru-Kun was swung around like a rag doll, then Olette-Chan glared harshly at the evil vegetable and Matt-San yelled out, "Stop that!"

That was when Joe-San once again surprised me, as he jumped on top of Vegimon-Teme, who was forced to let go of Takeru-Kun, who fell on the ground. But now Joe-San was the one all tangled up in Vegimon-Teme's vines. Then Takeru-Kun said, "Joe-San, he's caught!"

Matt-San looked up in shocked horror at this and said, "Jyoe."

We were forced to watch as Joe-San was getting the life squeezed out of him, then, in his pain, he said, "Matt-San, you were right. You always said that we have to work together to get out of this mess. Now, it looks like it's my turn."

Matt-San couldn't move, then Takeru-Kun called out, "Matt-Nii, we got to help him."

I stood in front of Digitamamon-Baka, right next to Ikkakumon-San, and Dorugamon-San, then we all heard Joe-San said, "Go on, you guys, blast them now."

I had my crossbow aimed right at Digitamamon-Baka, my arrow glowing brightly, just waiting to be unleashed, but I was shaking, none of us could do anything, and we knew it, not without hurting one of our own.

Ikkakumon-San swiped his horn at Digitamamon-Teme, knocking him to the side, with Dorugamon-San following after him, leaving us to face Vegimon-Teme, who said, "You, tell your friend I'm a very short tempered Vegimon! And you, stand down, or I'll crush this boy's bones."

Matt-San was worried about Joe-San, and truthfully, we all were, even Rouge was hesitant to attack him, and she said so because she said, "Damnit! The one time I actually get to attack this annoying man, and it is just when he actually does something courageous! Gomen, Joe-Baka, not today."

But, Joe-San wasn't flinching at this, because he said, "Do it, Yamato! Luke-San, please! Take the shot! Forget about me!"

I couldn't risk hurting Joe-San, so, with tears in my eyes, knowing that I was actually useless. Sure I could use my HyperChip, but what if that gives Vegimon-Teme the idea to BREAK Joe-San's neck? I couldn't risk it. I slowly lowered my arm. That was when Joe-San called out, "No! You've got to attack while I keep him busy. Attack. I'm fine!"

I couldn't move, I couldn't hurt Joe-San, no matter how much he annoys me, or how many times I said that I would launch an Aporo no kami no ya at him, I couldn't. "No, Joe-San, I can't. I won't! I have to protect you; I can't harm you. Please, don't ask me of this."

That was when I heard Matt-San say, "After I accused him, and yelled at him, he still risked himself for Takeru-Kun. Jyoe." That was when Matt-San yelled out, "NNNNNNOOOOOO!"

Then I turned to Digitamamon-Baka, who was being cornered by Ikkakumon-San, Garurumon-San, and Dorugamon-San. Then Digitamamon said, "I see you three don't know when to quit."

Then Dorugamon-San smirked and he said, "Quit? I don't even know what that word means." I really wanted to laugh at that remark, really, I did, but the situation was getting dire.

Digitamamon-Teme growled out, "I'll destroy all three of you with one shot!" But the Digimon simply growled at the giant egg, then Digitamamon-Teme glared and said, "Nightmare Syndrome!" Then a dark creature left Digitamamon-Teme's egg, and attacked our Digimon, and encased them in darkness, only to be shot out shortly after.

I growled, I couldn't risk unleashing DoruGreymon, his size is too large, and I don't want to risk hurting my friends. Then I heard Takeru-Kun cry out, "No! This is bad! They're too strong!"

Not to mention, "Grr, Joe-San!" I growled out, of all the times he decided to be a hero. Not saying that it wasn't worth the risk, but, now HE'S the one in trouble, and I can't do anything to save him.

But, hoping that I can bluff him out, I aimed at Vegimon, but then Vegimon-Teme lowered Joe-San in front of him, and he said, "Uhuhuh, careful, now. You don't want to harm your friend, now, would you?"

As much as I wanted to fire, I can't bring myself to do it, that, and he called my bluff, that was when I heard Matt-San say, "We can't just give up! We've got to beat them!"

I glared at Vegimon-San, and I thought, 'He's right. But, I can't beat them alone. Not without harming Jyoe.'

That was when I heard Matt-San yell out, "But I can't beat them alone. I need Tai-San, Luke-San, Olette-San, Takeru-Kun, Sora-San, Izzy-San, Mimi-San, and Joe-San. Everyone. Together we're strong. And when we stand together, we can beat anything!" He then balled his fists before yelling out, "Garurumon!"

Garurumon-San slowly stood up, then Yamato's Digivice began to vibrate rapidly, and it soon turned dark blue and unleashed a bright light into the sky, and soon, Yamato's Crest did the same thing, then Matt-San yelled out, "The Crest Of Friendship!"

D-I-G-I-V-O-L-U-T-I-O-N

Then Garurumon-San begin to transform, he stood up on his hind legs as he said, "Garurumon, Digivolve to..." Then his paws turned into hands, and he suddenly had pants on, with a skull on his left knee, his left arm had leather glove that covered his whole arm, a shoulder plate, brass knuckles, a knee plate on his left leg, some kind of necklace, and his right arm was wrapped up with a belt and had some kind of metal wristband. All in all, he looked like he had become some kind of postapocalyptic werewolf. Or, to be more specific, he had become... "WereGarurumon." Then he topped it all off, with a howl.

Matt-San took out his Digivice and saw the states, and he said, "WereGarurumon, the Ultimate form of Gabumon, is a really fierce warrior with claws, strong kicks and jumps. He's extreme, but Egghead and his little bat buddy leave him no choice. Coming up, one scrambled egg, with a side order of icicles."

I turned to Matt-San in confusion at this comment and asked, "Icicles? But WereGarurumon-San doesn't have any ice powers."

That was when Matt-San extended his hand and I realized that HE was the one who was gonna dish out the ice now, because he said, "Now, you shall feel my cold wrath, once the full moon rises, I shall turn your bones to Ice. I call upon, the Goddess of Ice and Snow, Khione! From water to snow, sun to the moon, Day to Night, I call upon the chilling powers of Ice, Kionē no shaku!"

And in a dark blue flash, in his hand was a large, dark blue scepter, with gold rims going across the center, a large golden ring at the top, where an Icy blue sphere rested, and three dark blue claws encasing the sphere. My eyes widened at the design of the scepter, because it was the very scepter used by Yugi's Sorcerer Of Dark Magic! Matt-San then glared at Vegimon-Teme and said, "Time I put you on ice!"

Vegimon-Teme seemed to find this amusing, because he chuckled and said, "Nice magic trick, kid, but you forgot, if you attack me, I will squeeze the life out of your friend. Hahah!"

But Matt-San didn't seem to have forgotten that, as he glared and said, "That's what you think, you walking salad bar."

Then we all heard Digitamamon-Teme said, "You and your little doggy don't frighten me. Nightmare Syndrome!"

Matt-San turned to WereGarurumon-San and said, "WereGarurumon-San, you deal with the walking egg, I've got his vegan partner." WereGarurumon-San nodded, then Matt-San spun his scepter above him and then slammed it to the ground and said, "Time I showed you how I chill out. Kiriru no kurisutaruaisumirāu~ōru!"

My eyes widen in surprise at the name of Matt-San's attack, and a name suddenly popped into my head, 'Haku?' I then watched as ice started to appear all around us, starting as small shards of frozen glass, then they flew around Vegimon-Teme, and created twelve Crystal Mirrors, surrounding Vegimon-Teme and Joe-San, both of whom were looking around in confusion. I actually felt a chill run down my spine.

Then I watched as Matt-San created another Ice wall, only this time, it was right in front of him, then, he stepped into it. I blinked a few times, then I said, "Okay, that's cool." I blinked once more at what I had just said, then I shook my head and softly chuckled at my own bad joke, as I said, "Man, I need new jokes, these are not up to my standards. That one was all cracked up."

I then watched as Matt-San appeared in one of the mirrors, one right near Takeru-Kun, then he grabbed Jyoe and said, "Hey, there, I will be relieving you of watch duty. Thank you for holding onto my friend." Then Matt-San reentered his Crystal Ice Mirror, only this time, he brought Joe-San along with him, and they both exited out of the last mirror that Matt-San had created.

I walked up to Matt-San and said, "Man, Yamato. That was awesome! Welcome to the club of Elementals."

Matt-San looked at me and my eyes widened, because I now realized that his eyes were glowing a bright, icy blue, and his pupils had changed to become the Crest Of Friendship. Did this happen to me and Taichi when we awakened our powers as well? But before I could ask at his Icy wall, then he said, "I'm not finished with him just yet, Luke-San."

I then looked to WereGarurumon-San and saw that he too was ready for more action and said, "Yeah, well, it looks like WereGarurumon-San's not finished yet either."

Matt-San turned a literal icy glare towards and saw that Digitamamon-Teme unleashed another, "Nightmare Syndrome!"

But WereGarurumon-San stopped the attack with his bare hands. Digitamamon-Teme gasped in shock as he said, "Impossible!"

Matt-San gripped his scepter tightly before he smirked and he said, "That was just the beginning, you little poacher!"

WereGarurumon-San just kept pushing back Digitamamon-Teme's attack, then he decided to finish off this over cooked egg, and he shouted out, "Mega Claw!" And then he knocked Digitamamon-Teme out of the park.

Vegimon-Teme's eyes widened in shock as he slowly said, "They beat Digitamamon." He then looked back at us.

I smirked, finally, I had a clear shot, I then aimed my crossbow aimed right at Vegimon-Teme, now that he wasn't using Joe-San as a meat shield, he was at our mercy, while Tai-Nii had his sword lit on fire, and ready to bring the heat, and Matt-San had his scepter ready for the final freeze. Then DemiDevimon-Baka decided to make like a bat and took off.

Then I smirked wildly, feeling a little, savage, at the Digimon who would DARE use my friends as a meat shield and said, "Well, Teme, what's it going to be? Are you going to stay here and become a salad, or will you run away? Please say that you're gonna stay." Hey, what can I say? I don't like it when people, and Digimon, try to hurt my friends, so, I'm not going to play nice any more.

Vegimon-Teme decided to make a run for it. And so, Matt-San lowered Ice Mirror Wall, shame, then Vegimon-Teme ran for his life. Then Takeru-Kun ran up to his Nii-San and said, "Yay! Wow, that was so cool, Onii-Chan! You're the awesomest Nii-San EVER!"

Matt-San blushed in embarrassment, then he said, "You really think so?"

Takeru-Kun nodded and said, "You bet! And I love that Ice Mirror thing you did!"

While those brothers had their heart to heart. The rest of us decided to give congratulate the real hero of the day, Joe-San. Tai-Nii walked up to Joe-San and said, "I got to hand it to you, Jyoe. That was really brave."

Rouge nodded, actually showing a little of respect towards the normally bumbling mess of a DigiDestined and said, "Yeah, not bad. Maybe you're not a wet blanket anymore."

Joe-San looked down in surprise at hearing this and asked, "You really think so?"

Rouge nodded, then she said, "Yeah, but don't let that go to your head, I still find you annoyingly depressing." Obviously, while she was being respectful towards Jyoe, but she was still Rouge, and couldn't hold back her little moments of friendly insults.

Joe-San seemed to understand that this was Rouge, so he shrugged, then said, "Oh, well, all I did was get grabbed."

"By a giant vegetable." Gomamon-San added quickly.

Tsunomon-San nodded and said, "Yes, a cranky one."

We all shared a laugh, then Matt-San walked up to Joe-San and he said, "Uh, Joe-San, I'm really proud of how you handled the situation."

Joe-San then smiled meekly and he said, "At my old school, they voted me 'most likely to chicken out.' I guess we showed them."

Then Matt-San glanced to the side as he said, "I also need to apologize."

Joe-San was confused as he asked, "Oh? Why is that, Matt-San?"

Matt-San was now blushing, probably because he was embarrassment, then he said, "Because I never should have doubted you, Joe-San. I mean, I knew that something was off, but because of my concern towards Takeru-Kun, I wasn't thinking clearly, so, gomen'nasai."

Joe-San placed his hand on Yamato's shoulder, who looked up in surprise, then Jyoe said, "Hey, Yamato, I understand. You were overstressed from worrying about you Otouto, not to mention DemiDevimon-Baka ruining everything, you just let your concern over your Otouto cloud your judgment."

Yamato nodded slowly before saying, "Yeah, guess you're right. Gomen, Jyoe."

After that, we explained the situation to Yamato and Jyoe, then as we were walking, Yamato said, "So, everything is linked. If we don't fix things here, then our world will be in trouble, too."

I nodded and said, "Yep. That just about sums it up."

Then Jyoe looked towards Olette-Chan and Rouge and said, "And you're also telling us that Olette-San and Rouge are now partners as well?"

Olette-Chan smiled brightly before showing them both her D-Ark and said, "Yep. Now we can fight alongside you guys. Ain't it amazing?"

I nodded, then I kissed her cheek and said, "It sure is, Aisuru. It sure is."

That was when all of our Digivices went off, then Takeru-Kun said, "They're going off again."

Then as Tai-Nii was looking at his Digivice, he said, "It seems like every time this happens, we find one of our friends."

Joe-San looked down at his Digivice and said, "So, there must be someone around here."

"But which direction?" Asked Takeru-Kun, looking up towards his Nii-San.

Then Tai-Nii said, "Well, mine's pointing out there."

And Matt-San said, "Well, mine's pointing out this way."

I sighed, knowing that we were going to have to go our separate ways and said, "I should have known. Well, I say, we split up and search for our friends."

Tai-Nii nodded and said, "I guess, if we want to find our friends, we're just going to have to split up again."

I knew that Yamato had probably spent enough time alone with Jyoe to last him a while and would like to spend some time with Takeru-Kun. So I said, "Well, then, Matt-San, Takeru-Kun, you guys go left, the rest of us will go right. Does that seem fair?"

Matt-San nodded with a slight smile and said, "Yeah, I think I can learn how to use my powers while I'm away anyways."

I nodded, then I said, "Remember, Khione-San is a part of you, Matt-San. And if you want to use your powers, then you have to learn how to learn how to communicate with the voice in your head."

Matt-San lightly chuckled at this, then he said, "The way you say that, Luke-San, makes it sound like I will be going insane."

I shrugged, not really taking any kind of offence to that, and said, "Well, you are kind of talking to a technical walking zombie, so, make of it as you will."

Tai-Nii nodded, then he said, "Just so nobody gets lost, let's all meet up at the foot of that mountain, okay?"

We all nodded, then I said, "Last one back is a rotten Digitamamon!" Everyone laughed and we all split up, once again.

And so, six of us were reunited, but once again, we had to split up, will we find our friends and be reunited once again? Will we find out the true power of our Crests? Why is it that the Crest Of Friendship appeared in Yamato's eyes? Do the same thing happens to us? And, can we make it back home in one piece? Or will we end up meeting fates worse than death? Find out on the next Digimon: New Life!

Thechaosmaster: Hey, everyone, I am back with one hell of a late nighter, Now then I won't waste time, my kindle is at ten percent, so, tomorrow, sometime in the afternoon, I will upload a proper A/N, but until then, I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter. It took a lot out of me.

CHAOS CONTROL!

Thechaosmaster: Afternoon, everybody, I hope that you guys and girls have enjoyed last night's chapter, I know I did when I was writing it, but I have to admit, it did not go how I originally wanted to go, I actually wanted to introduce another one of the Demon Lords in this chapter, heck, I even was going to hint at that in the original title for this chapter, "The Demon That Is Greed" And yep, Barbamon was actually going to show up here, and I actually added him in at the last leg of the chapter, but I deleted it because I decided that it just didn't flow with this chapter.

Anyways, to all who are reading this, tell me, should I have added Barbamon in this chapter, or should I add him, or another Demon Lord in a different chapter. Also, before I start writing the next chapter, would you readers care if I write chapters staring the other DigiDestined from their points of view, say, Izzy's POV during No Questions please, or Kari's POV for another chapter? I really want your opinions on this.

Now, onto some questions that many of you may have. More specifically, how could Sora hear the voice of her Crests Spirit? Well, if you lot go back to Etemon's Dark Concert, you will see that Luke heard Susanoo's voice, before he even obtained the Crest. And I have stated that the Spirits of the Crests are a part of the DigiDestined, and you may have noticed that, so far, the spirits of Protection, Courage, and Friendship, are all named after gods and goddess, this is just for fun, but I feel that it is a perfect fit for the story.

And, I bet those who are Naruto fans can, without spoiling, take a guess at what the name of Kari's Crest Spirit's name will be.

Now, it is time I actually explained something. The attacks that the DigiDestined have. One is an offensive attack, and the other is defensive. I have shown both offensive and defensive attacks for Luke, but only Offensive for Tai, and Defensive for Matt. And each attack has different names for a reason. What that reason is... I don't fully know myself, but when I figure it out, I'll let you know.

By the way, this is something I have been meaning to ask all of you, I might be planning on Luke, after the end of season one, to join Ken and Ryo on their journey to fight Millenniumon, do any of you know if there is a comic or English version of the game that I can use to help when I decide to write that? Or, should I not do it at all? Leave you reviews to let me know, but in the meantime...

CHAOS CONTROL!

Thechaosmaster: And, there we go.

Blossom: You took almost three years to edit this story, DON'T just say, "There we go" Boss.

Chaos: Yeah, I know, I know. But, seriously, I hope you guys enjoyed. Now then, how about I talk about that flashback?

Blossom: Yeah, what was that about, anyways?

Chaos: Well, as many of you may or may not remember, I wanted to go back to those old days where Devimon revealed Luke's dark secret and I wanted to do something with them, you guys, OBVIOUSLY didn't like that, but I still wanted to go back and do them. SO, I came up with a compromise.

Flashbacks. Now, many of you know just what it was Taichi was remembering, don't worry, I'm not done with that segment, and, many of you might be wondering why I chose to use the SSJ2 Gohan as an example for Luke's anger. Well, I've been listening to DBZ "What If's" on YouTube from people like Salad Saiyan and MasakoX. Check them out when you have the chance. But, in the meantime. I'm done writing for the day. I've spent a long time working on this, and my work days have been killing me. Note, I will NOT be making any kind of promises onto what it is I am working on next. Weather it is this story or Undertale, it is MY decision, so please, leave me be. I am tired, exhausted, and whatever word works like that. So, anyways, Oyasumi.

Red: Have a great day, night, whenever. We'll see you whenever we see you guys.

Thechaosmaster: Also, many of you probably are wondering about the new cover. Yes, it's the Digivolving Dorumon figure that Digivolves into Alphamon. Figure it was a better cover than the shield. Well, later.

CHAOS CONTROL!
