Of Mad Science and Finals
Hello everyone, and welcome back to Humans After Halloween. In the last chapter, Torelei was up to her no good tricks and tried to fool Zechariah into thinking Clawdeen and her group of friends would abandon him, which she got her just desserts in the end.
In the last chapter, I wanted to say that Clawdeen will be bisexual, as I heard she will be lesbian in the new live action movie and any episodes that come after. I just wanted her to like both genders, as to make it more interesting.
And the last thing, this is definatly a harem story like Creaturemaster's We Are Monsters, as Zechariah will be dating multiple ghouls. Now that that's out of the way, let's get on with the chapter.
We're at Monster High, as it was the day of the Scaremester Finals, where every student of Monster High arrived early to get some last minute studying in. There were monsters reading while walking, some were leaning against walls by either standing or sitting and then there's Zechariah and his group of friends. They were all studying in the Creepateria.
Zechariah had to study the hardest of everyone, as he had come into Monster High at the begining of November, which he had to learn what everyone learned in September and October, as well as relearning what he learned in November. It was now the end of the month, as he had to cram everything into his head.
Aside from finals, he has been getting close to everyone, friendship-wise. Even Manny has come to respect him, though it's from the various monster sports they play, but he'll get what he could take from the minotaur. Venus had told Zechariah she wanted to ask him something once finals were over, which he said he would hear what she has to say.
As Zechariah was studying with his friends, the constant page flipping and shuffling of feet were starting to get to him. "Is there anyplace quiet enough for me to study?" He asked.
"You could try the Mad Science room? I'm sure Mr Hack wouldn't mind if you study there." Frankie suggested.
"I don't know, Mr Hack probably wouldn't like that." Clawdeen said.
"Well, trying would be better than doing nothing." Zechariah said, as he collected all his books and headed to the Mad Science room, saying he will see everyone after finals were over.
As Zechariah had made it to the Mad Science room, he saw Mr Hack in the room already. Mr Hack is a tall yet round man, who has dark eyes, light skin and hair on his arms. He wears a dark, grey stitched up mask that covers only the top of his face. He wears a dark red button up shirt, a white tie with black polka dots on it. He also has a apron on, black pants and black shoes on. His teeth are also crooked and some were protruding out of his mouth.
"Excuse me, Mr Hack? Could I study in your room for finals?" Zechariah asked.
Mr Hack mumbled something under his breath, then said. "Fine, but you better not touch nothin'" he said in a British accent, while sitting in his chair. Zechariah walked in and sat at one of the desks, taking out his books and began to read. Not even a few minutes have passed and Zechairah could hear snoring, as Mr Hack had fallen asleep. Zechariah continued to study, as he didn't know a certain werecat passing and peeking her head into the room.
"Well, well. Studying alone in Mad Science, huh? Time for some revenge." Torelei schemed to herself, as she snuck into the room unnoticed. Thanks to Mr Hack's snoring, Torelei could sneak without being heard.
Once Torelei got close enough, she looked and saw Zechariah still was deep in his books. She grabbed a few beakers and started mixing the liquids inside. Once she was done, she put them back and got as far away as possible. Once far away, she saw the beaker explode into a huge puff of green smoke, which apparently woke up Mr Hack.
"Oi, what did I tell ya 'bout touchin' nothin'!" Mr Hack yelled. Once the smoke cleared, the Mad Science teacher only saw Zechariah's books and not the normie. He shrugged his shoulders, as he thought the normie went to the bathroom and went back to sleep.
From Zechariah's perspective, he was studying until a cloud of green smoke covered him and now, everything looked a lot bigger to him. He had shrunk down to an inch in height. "How the heck did I get so small?" He asked himself. That's when he heard thundering footsteps coming from behind him and he turned his head to see none other than Torelei towering over him.
"Haha, looks like no one can help you now. Good luck with finals. That is, if you can get to your classes on time." Torelei said while laughing, as she walked away and her tail hitting Zechariah and knocking him off the seat.
Zechariah hit the floor hard, knocking the wind out of him. After a few seconds, he got up."I gotta go find someone to help me." He said, then looked up at the clock. He saw that it was almost time for classes to start. "Dang it, I have no time. But it doesn't mean I can't try." He then jumped down to the main floor and exited the classroom, as he tried heading for the Creepateria.
Back with the ghouls, they were studying when Venus came up to the group. "Hey, where'd Zechariah go?" She asked the group.
"He went to the Mad Science room to study." Frankie said, as she looked up at a clock. "Hopefully he knows classes start soon."
"Well, I'll go get him and let him know." Venus said, as she headed to the Mad Science room.
Back with Zechariah, he made it as far as the Home Ick class when he heard some footsteps coming his way. He saw it was Venus heading in the direction of the way he just came from. "Wait, come back!" He yelled, but Venus couldn't hear him.
Once Venus got to the Mad Science room, all she saw was Mr Hack sleeping and Zechariah's things at one of the desks. "Where is he? Probably at the restroom or something. I'll get his stuff for him." Venus said, as she gathered Zechariah's things and left. Zechariah then saw her run by again with all his stuff.
Venus came back to the Creepateria and set Zechariah's stuff on a table. "I didn't see him in there, but I grabbed his stuff for him." She told the others.
"Strange. He wasn't in there, but his stuff was?" Frankie asked.
"He just probably went to the restroom, he'll be back." Clawdeen said, as the bell then rang, signalling classes were about to start. "Crap. I'll take him his stuff, as we share a bunch of classes together." She said, as Venus gave Clawdeen Zechariah's things. Everyone then headed off to class.
Back with Zechariah, he heard the bell ring, as classes were about to begin. Since Venus couldn't hear him, he could try to make it to his first class to see if Clawdeen could help. Only problem, Biteology was on the other side of the school, and it would take him all day to get there at the current size he was at.
He then thought of going to the art classroom and seeing if anyone there could help, as that room was pretty close by. He starts running through the rushing footsteps of other students getting to their classes, making sure not to get squished in the process. As the door was closed, he slid under the door, as there was enough room for him to slide under.
Once he was inside, he saw the teacher passing out tests to the students, to which he saw no one would hear him unless he got close to them. He then saw a vent near the teachers desk, as he then went through it to see if he could find someone in the next room over.
In Biteology, students were sitting down at their desks, as the teacher was passing out tests. Once she got to Clawdeen's table, she asked. "And where's Mr Smith?"
"Uh, he should be here any minute. He had to use the bathroom before we started." Clawdeen said, to which the teacher nodded.
"Okay, but if he doesn't make it, he will fail this test." She said, which Clawdeen gulped once the teacher turned her back.
Back with Zechariah, he traveled through the vents until he reached the next classroom. He looked through the holes in the vent to see he was at the Clawculous classroom. If he remembered correctly, Frankie has this class first thing in the morning. He looked around until he saw Frankie sitting kinda close to the vent. He got out of the vent and rushed to Frankie, making sure not too be seen by anyone.
Once he got to her desk, he tried thinking of a way to get her attention. For the past half hour, he tried yelling, kicking her shoe or hitting her leg, but nothing was working. Frankie was the first one done with her test and when she got up to turn in her test, Zechariah saw a stitch in one of her legs was loose.
Once she got back into her seat, Zechariah quickly climed up the cadaver's leg to get to the loose stitching. While climbing, he had to dodge Frankie's hand, as she probebly thought he was some kind of insect. Once he got to the stitching on the upper calf, he pulled on the string keeping it together and it came out, as the part of the leg fell down to the ground with a Thump.
Frankie looked down and saw her body part on the ground. "Oh, bolts." She grabbed the part and signaled to the teacher. "Excuse me, one of my parts came loose. Can I go to the restroom and fix it?" The teacher allowed for her to go, as they knew this was a normal occurance. Fraknie got up and hopped to the restroom, as Zechariah climbed the rest of her leg into her skirt, to hide from the other students.
Back in Biteology, Clawdeen was kinda freaking out while taking her test. The reason being that Zechariah still wasn't here yet and she kept covering for him.
"Where the heck are you." She mumbled under her breath.
With Zechariah, he was hanging on while Frankie reached the ghoul's room, as he was trying his best to not looked at her panties. They were electric blue with black trim and black lightning bolts. Once Frankie was inside of the ghoul's restroom, she went to the furthest wall and leaned against it, as she lifted her leg up and started stitching her limb back on.
"How much longer is this going to take?" Zechariah said to himself. That's when he heard an intestinal grumble, as it meant Frankie was going to fart and he was kinda point-blank range. "Oh no."
Once Frankie was done, she felt that she needed to fart, as she hasn't let out her gas this morning. She bent over, as she let out a grunt and she lets out a huge fart, to which felt like a very strong gust of wind to Zechariah. He tried his best to hold on, but the gust of wind was too strong and he was blown to the floor.
"Fuck, that hurt!" He exclaimed, as the breathe was taken out of him. This apparently got Frankie's attention, as she looked around to find the source of the noise and saw a very tiny Zechariah on the ground.
"Zechariah!? What are you doing in here?! And why are you so small?" Frankie asked, as she picked him up.
"Well, to answer your second question, Torelei used some kind of potion or something and it shrank me. And for the first question, I needed to get your attention without you freaking out in class." Zechariah said.
"So that was you climbing over me. Let me text the other ghouls and we can see what we can do grow you back to normal." Frankie said, as she placed Zechariah on her shoulder and took out her iCoffin, sending a mass text message to the ghouls in their friend group.
Back in Biteology, Ghoulia had been done with the test in the class. Despite being a zombie, she had done the test pretty fast. Clawdeen was almost done with her test, when her phone vibrated. This caught the teacher's attention.
"Sorry, I will turn that off." Clawdeen said. When she looked at her phone, she saw a text from Frankie, saying she found Zechariah. She looked over and saw Ghoulia and Abbey had recieved the same message. She and Abbey finished up their tests and asked to go to the restroom with Ghoulia. The teacher thought it was strange, but let them go anyway.
It took the three 5 minutes to get to the restroom Frankie was in, as they enter to see Frankie, Cleo, Lagoona and Draculaura all standing in there.
"So, where is he?" Clawdeen asked, to which Frankie poined to her shoulder. Sitting there was a small Zechariah.
"Uuuuhhh?" Ghoilia asked.
"Torelei shrank him using a potion while he was studying in the Mad Science room." Frankie explained.
"That kitty really gets under my bandages." Cleo said.
"We can deal with her later. Right now, we have to get me back to normal and finish finals." Zechariah said.
"How are we going to do that, mate?" Lagoona asked.
"Yeah, Mr Hack has class going on right now." Draculaura said.
"Mr Hack likes giving detention to troublemakers, right?" Zechariah asked, to which everyone nodded. "Well, what if we had a decoy so Ghoulia can make a potion that grew me back to normal." He said, pointing up to show a ghostly arm with an iCoffin recording them.
"Spectra?!" Every ghoul exclaimed. That's when Spectra came through the wall.
"Sorry, ghouls. When I was you all in here with the Normie, I thought I would have a great scoop." Spectra said.
"Please, no more gossip about me. Though, I think I have a scoop for you, if you help us out." Zechariah said. Spectra nodded, as Zechariah told everyone the plan.
We're now at the Mad Science room, as the students in the class were taking their tests. Mr Hack was reading a newspaper while drinking some tea. That's when Spectra phased in and came up to the teacher.
"Excuse me, Mr Hack. Do you have any juicy gossip for my story?" She asked.
"Ms Vondergeist, you ain't supposed ta be in here while students are testin'" Mr Hack said.
"Whoops, forgot finals were happening." Spectra said, as she took a picture of Mr Hack with the flash on. This blinded the teacher before he shook his head and got angry.
"Yer gonna get detention fer that!" Mr Hack said.
"You're going to have to catch me first." Spectra said, as she flew through the door. Mr Hack then chased after her.
Outside the classroom, everyone had hid where the door blocked them from Mr Hack's vision when he followed Spectra out of the classroom. Once Spectra did her job and lured the Mad Science teacher down the hall, Frankie and the ghouls entered the classroom, which Ghoulia started making the potion for turning Zechariah back to normal.
Clawdeen, Cleo and Abbey kept watch, as Lagoona, Draculaura and Frankie helped Ghoulia out by handing her the right ingredients for the potions.
"Hurry, I don't know how long Spectra can trick Mr Hack." Clawdeen said.
"We're going as fast as we can, luv." Lagoona said.
Speaking of Spectra, she was bobbing and weaving, trying to stay out of Mr Hack's grasp. "Sorry, but I think my time is up." She said, as she then got her iCoffin close to the teacher's face and took a pic, the flash blinding him.
Mr Hack rubbed his eyes and shook the dizziness from the flash from his eyes. When he could see again, Spectra was gone. "You can't hide forever, Ms Vondergeist!" He yelled, as he then stormed back to his classroom.
Unbeknownst to him, Spectra was looking out of the ceiling. 'Hopefully I bought them enough time.' She thought. She then disappeared into the ceiling.
Back at the Mad Science room, Ghoulia was almost done with the potion to help Zechariah return to normal size.
"How much longer until it's done, Ghoulia?" Zechariah asked.
"Aaaiiiiiieeeee-uuuuuuhhhh." Ghoulia said, which Zechariah looked to Frankie. He was trying to learn zombie, but he still didn't quite understand it yet.
"She said another couple of minutes." Frankie translated.
"I don't think we have a couple minutes." Clawdeen said.
"Mr Hack coming back." Abbey added. When looking out the window, you could see that Mr Hack was indeed approaching his classroom door.
"We need a distraction." Frankie said. That's when Clawdeen locked the door and everone but Ghoulia hid.
When Mr Hack came up to the door, he reached the handle and tried opening it, but it was locked. "What the!? I don't remember lockin' this!" He said, as he was trying to open the door, forgetting he had keys.
As Ghoulia finished the potion, the bell rang, as Clawdeen unlocked the door and the class rushed out, running over Mr Hack in the process. Most of the ghouls left too, so they wouldn't get in trouble. Frankie, Ghoulia and Zechariah were the only ones left.
"Let's get this over with so we can get finals over with." Zechariah said. Ghoulia nodded, as Frankie put him on the ground and Ghoulia poured a drop of the potion on Zechariah's head. At first, nothing was happening, but then Zechariah grew back to normal size.
"You're back to normal." Frankie said, as she hugged Zechariah.
"And it's mostly thanks to Ghoulia and her big brain." Zechariah said, as Ghoulia gave a big smile. "Now, let's get out of here before Mr Hack wakes up." He said, as he and the two ghouls left.
For the rest of the day, everyone did finals, as Zechariah asked Ms Bones to do his Biteology final. When she asked why, he gave her the real reason why he wasn't there earlier and she let him take it. Once he was done, he was glad finals were finally over.
As he left the Biteology room, he saw Venus waiting for him. "Finally done?" She asked.
"Yeah. I'm glad Ms Bones was able to let me take her test." Zechariah said.
"Good, now to what I wanted to ask you. Would you like to go to the boovies with me? You know, like a date?" Venus asked, as a big blush came to her face.
Zechariah was stunned at first at how forward the question was, but gave his answer. "Sure, I would love to. But first, there's a certain kitty that needs to answer for what she did to me." He said.
"Couldn't have said it better myself." A voice said, as Zechariah and Venus turned to see Clawdeen and the rest of the ghouls that helped him standing there. "So, what's the plan?"
"I'm thinking we should give her the same treatment she did to me, though have it last through the weekend." Zechariah said. Clawdeen had to admit that Zechariah kept impressing her everyday.
"Well, it's a good thing Ghoulia made a shrinking potion, just in case you did say that." Frankie said, as said zombie was holding a vial with said potion.
"Alright, time to put our plan in motion." Zechariah said, as Ghoulia went to the second floor above the front door to the school, while everyone else went to the entrance. As they went through the door, they ran into none other than Torelei herself.
"So, how'd your finals go? Hopefully you failed them all." Torelei said, as she started laughing.
"I think they went pretty well. You know what they about karma, right Torelei?" Zechariah asked. This made the werecat stumped.
"No, what?" She asked.
"They say she comes for those that always have bad intentions." Zechariah said, as he pointed up. Torelei followed where he pointed and saw Ghoulia holding a vial full of liquid. Ghoulia let go of the vial, as it fell to the ground and broke, making a mist of green smoke cover only Torelei. Said werecat was coughing, as she then shrank down to an inch tall.
"What the? What did you do to me?!" Torelei asked.
"Let's just say, we're giving you a taste of your own medicine." Zechariah said, as he and the ghouls got a good laugh at the joke and at Torelei's situation.
"Good luck with that, mate. That lasts the whole weekend." Lagoona said, as everyone left Torelei there when Ghoulia came through the door.
"That felt so good seeing that happen to Torelei." Cleo said, to which everyone agreed.
"Yeah. Now, let's go on our date." Zechariah said, putting an arm around Venus' shoulders. This made the plant monster blush.
"Y-Yeah." Venus stammered. The rest of the ghouls wished them luck on their date, as they parted ways.
Okay, now that's done. I know I said I would continue with my Dragon Ball story, but I had just thought about doing this chapter since I had it in mind. I originally had it be where either Cleo accidentally shrunk him with an idol or Nefera purposfully doing the same, but a friend gave me this idea instead.

Also, the farting won't be a constant thing, I just thought it would be used for some humor here and there.
And the last thing I wanna note is that Clawdeen liking girls along with guys is the only thing from the upcoming new version of the series is what I will be doing, so Draculaura learning witchcraft and Frankie's binary being they/them won't be a thing. Draculaura will be a normal vampire and Frankie will be she/her. That's it, see ya next time.
