Liftoff Mishap
Hello everyone and welcome back to Humans After Halloween. I know those that like my Dragon Ball fanfic are wondering where that is and I am getting chapter three done, I just have been coming up with a couple ideas for the past couple of chapters of this story. I will also get to my other stories too, so don't worry.
In this chapter, Zechariah will be meeting a certain robotic beauty, and maybe just save her life. Enough with the talking and let's get on with the chapter, shall we? Let's go!
It is December 15th and there is an inch of snow on the ground in New Salem. Monsters were bundled up in winter clothes, as they were on their way to school. It was the second week within the new Scaremester for Monster High, which meant new classes.
We see Zechariah walking his way to the school, with a certain plant monster clung to his arm. After their date after last Scaremester's finals, Zechariah and Venus have been dating for the past two weeks, as they had a whole month of getting to know each other. Since Venus was a plant monster, she was never fond of winter weather, which is why she was clinging to Zechariah for warmth until they got to school.
Zechariah's parents and sisters were freaked out at first at him dating a monster, but once they got to know Venus, they were accepting of their relationship. Venus' parents were the same about their daughter dating a Normie, but Zecariah showed them he was a respectable gentleman and they accepted their relationship, though they were still a little sceptical about him.
Once the couple entered Monster High, Venus was the most happy out of the two to be out of the cold. "Thank goodness we're out of the cold." She happily said.
"And here I thought you'd be clinging to me the whole day." Zechariah joked, to which Venus gave him a playful smack on the chest.
"Don't tease me like that." Venus said. The couple then gave each other a peck on the lips, to which Venus had to stand on her tip-toes to reach her boyfriends lips.
"Well, aren't you two a cute couple." A voice said with a regal tone to it. That's when the couple turned to see Cleo and the rest of the ghouls and mansters that made up their group. "Though, not as cute as me and Deuce." Cleo added.
"How long have you guys been standing there?" Zechariah asked.
"Long enough to see you two be all lovey-dovey." Clawdeen said, which made Venus blush.
"You two are totes adorable together." Draculaura said, gushing at the couple.
"Thanks, Draculaura." Zechariah said, putting an arm around Venus. The couple had put their coats in their lockers, as they had lockers not far from each other. That's when the bell rang, signalling for everyone to get to class.
"Guess it's time for classes." Frankie said.
Everyone went to their classes, as they would see each other during lunch. Zechariah had Dead Languages class with Venus, Frankie and Clawdeen. This was the second Scaremester where the first class he shared with was with said werewolf. They all sat in a group, as Venus sat next to boyfriend. Zechariah even shared the class with a few other faces he knew, like Spectra and Wydowna.
For the whole class, Mr Rotter was giving a lecture in the class, talking about the lesson. He even got off topic a few times during class. While he was talking, some of the students were either dozing off or sleeping. Two of the students that fell asleep were Zechariah and Venus, as the two were cuddled in each other's arms. Heck, even Clawdeen fell asleep and was leaning against Zechariah like a pillow.
Once class was over, Zechariah was teasing Clawdeen about using him as a pillow, which the werewolf said it was a coincidence that she would use him as a pillow. The next three classes he apparently had was with Venus, which was art, Monster History and Mad Science, which Mad Science was before lunch.
They also had Mad Science with Cleo, Lagoona, Draculaura, Ghoulia and Deuce. They had greeted each other, as they sat in one big group. As Mr Hack was teaching them about chemicals, Headmistress Bloodgood called him to help with a problem, to which he left.
"Guess the rest of class is freetime." Deuce said, as he sat back to relax. That's when Draculaura's phone went off.
She picked it up to look at it and got excited. All her friends noticed this. "What's up, Draculaura?" Zechariah asked.
"It's the Ghostly Gossip. It says Robecca will be jumping over the school. She got the thumbs up by Bloodgood." Draculaura said.
"When is this happening?" Cleo asked.
"During Lunch." Draculaura said.
"Who's Robecca again?" Zechariah asked.
"She's our robot friend. She's usually very late in the mornings because of her internal clock being out of whack, so she has a special pass made for her." Venus said, then added. "Plus, she's a bit of a daredevil."
"Right, now I remember seeing her around before, though I never got the chance to talk with her before." Zechariah said.
"Sweet. Once class is over, we get to see something clawesome." Deuce said, as he and Zechariah high-fived of that fact.
The bell rang, as everyone left for lunch. Everyone who knew about Robecca's jump grabbed their jackets from their lockers and headed outside. Once outside, Venus attatched herself to Zechariah, which he allowed. He knew how the plant monster was with cold weather.
Everyone in Monster High was surrounding a huge ramp that Robecca will be using for the jump. Headmistress Bloodgood came out, as she was holding a megaphone.
"Ladies and gentleman-sters, who's ready to see our resident daredevil, Robecca Steam, jump over the school?" She asked, to which everyone gave a huge cheer.
We now look to Robecca. She was a a robot monster that looked like she came from the Steampunk era of history. Her 'skin' was a copper, with several patches, bolts, and rivets, including two gears on the backside of her calves. Her long wavy hair is black with blue streaks, and her eyes are copper-colored, with irises shaped like cogwheels. She has rocket boots and wears goggles. Her dress is blue and has brown diamonds at the top, with a bodice being black with gear designs and a black skirt with a blue metal skirt-like overlay. Over her dress is a black, sleeveless cardigan with bronze linen. She also had on what appeared to be maroon lipstick and purple eyeshadow.
She even had impressive measurements for a robot, with D-cup boobs, slim waist, thick thighs and a big bubble butt.
"Are you ready?" Bloodgood asked Robecca, to which the robot girl put her goggles on and nodded her head, as she got in a starting pose.
Bloodgood waved a checkered flag, as Robecca started up her rocket boots and went flying forward. She dashed past Bloodgood and started going up the ramp. Everyone watched in awe, as some monsters took out their phones to record this moment. As Robecca was halfway up the ramp, her rocket boots began to sputter, to which Zechariah immedeately noticed.
"She's not going to make it!" He yelled over the cheers. Venus heard him and took a closer look, to see that he was right.
"She'll crash pretty hard if she doesn't stop." She said.
Through the cheers, Robecca kept going, as she didn't notice her rockets sputtering until it was too late. Once Robecca reached the jumping point, her rockets completely stopped and she started falling forward, to which the crowd gasped.
Zechariah rushed through the crowd, telling everyone to watch out. He kept running until he was in the line of sight were Robecca was going to land and caught her, though the catch brought him down and took the breath out of him.
Robecca for the most part had her eyes closed, ready for the impact on the ground. What she wasn't expecting was someone catching her and coushining her fall. When she opened her eyes, she had found that Zechariah, a Normie of all things, saved her from becoming bits and pieces on the ground.
"Are you okay?" Zechariah asked through grunts.
"Y-Yes, thanks to you." Robecca said, her voice a bit shaky. Zechariah could tell she was talking in a light English accent.
Some of those in the crowd came over and helped them up, as they were all impressed with Zechariah saving Robecca's life.
"Dude, that was clawsome how you saved her life like that." Clawd said, as he was one of the ones holding Zechariah up.
"Yeah, it was totally amazing." Deuce added, as he was on the other side of Zechariah.
"Thanks, though I might not try that again anytime soon." Zechariah said. Catching Robecca like that left him pretty sore.
"Let's get you to a table, dude." Clawd said, as he and Deuce took Zechariah inside to sit down. The crowd and those helping Robecca followed them in, as the whole crowd gathered in the Creepeteria to get some lunch before classes started up again.
Venus sat next to her boyfriend, as she had a big smile on her face. "I'm glad you were able to save Robecca like that." She said, giving him a hug.
"Well, I couldn't let a ghoul like her get hurt, now could I?" Zechariah asked. This got him a kiss on the cheek from Venus.
"You really have a big heart." Venus said, as she was glad to have him as a boyfriend.
After lunch, Zechariah went to his last two classes, which he didn't have with Venus. His last two classes was a Spanish class and Clawculous. Apparently, Robecca had Clawculous with him. How he forgot she was in there was a mystery to him. He then went to sit next to her.
"Hey, how's it going? Feeling any better after lunch?" He asked her.
"Hmm? Oh, I'm feeling much better. I didn't get to properly thank you earlier." Robecca said.
"Well, it wasn't that big of a de-" Before he could finish, she planted a big kiss on his cheek as a thank you, which made him blush. Clawdeen saw this action, as she was sitting behind the two.
"Oh, so your addin more ghouls to date ya? I didn't know you liked that." She teased, which made both of them blush, as steam was coming out of Robecca's ears.
"It isn't like that, she was just thanking me is all." Zechariah defended himself, which made Clawdeen laugh.
"I know, I was just messin with ya." Clawdeen said, giving him a light jab. "Just call it a little payback for makin fun of me this morning."
Robecca didn't know what they were talking about, so she just shrugged it off. Clawculous went by pretty smoothly, as everyone did their work and Robecca got to talking with Zechariah and Clawdeen a bit more. That's when Zechariah brought something he remembered hearing from Venus in Mad Science.
"You know, I heard you have an internal clock in you that's not working right. Maybe I could help you fix it after school." He suggested, which the robots eyes popped up in surprise.
"You'd do that for me?" Robecca asked, then added. "Do you know anything about robots?"
"Yeah, I would work on robots in my spare time. Not ones of your size or comparison, but robots nonetheless." Zechariah said. This made Robecca jump up in joy, as she hugged Zechariah around his head, causing his face to be smack-dab right in her robotic breasts. This caused Clawdeen to snicker.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Robecca happily exclaimed.
"It's no problem. Now, can I get my face out of your boobs?" Zechariah asked. Robecca had been so happy, that she didn't realize this and released her hold, her face blushing and steam was coming out of her ears again.
"I'm sorry, I just got so excited, that I didn't realize I did that." Robecca said.
"It's okay, I understand." Zechariah said. He didn't want to admit this in front of the two ghouls, but having his face in there felt surprisingly good. Wait, was he falling for Robecca after saving her life a couple hours ago and getting to know her in this class? Couldn't be possible.
The rest of class went pretty good, as the bell then rang. Zechariah left class with Robecca and Clawdeen, as they were glad school was over. Clawdeen said she would see them later, as she headed for Fearleading, leaving the two alone. They weren't alone for long, as Venus came up and jumped onto Zechariah, wrapping her arms around his neck and planted a kiss on his lips. He returned the kiss, wrapping his arms around her waist.
After a full minute of being in the kiss, the two lovers came apart to breathe some fresh air. "Guess someone really missed me." Zechariah teased.
"Of course. After not being in two of your classes, I miss my Manster." Venus said, giving him another peck on the lips. That's when Robecca made herself noticeable.
"Ahem." She cleared her throat. This made Zechariah remember why she was there.
"Right. Venus, I'm going to help Robecca with her internal clock you mentioned to me in Mad Science. I hope you don't mind me doing that." He said.
"I don't mind, as long as I get to come watch you work." Venus said. She knew he worked on small robots in his spare time, so seeing him working on Robecca would be interesting.
The three went into one of the labs in the school that had the tools Zechariah needed to help Robecca. There was even a table big enough for her to lay on.
"Alright, let's get things started." Zechariah said, as Robecca sat up on the table. "Get yourself ready while I get the necessary tools for the job."
As Zechariah was getting the tools, Robecca took off her top and laid on her back, a big blush on her face. Venus saw this happen, as she wanted to tell Zechariah, but let him figure it out. When Zechariah turned to Robecca, he dropped the tools he was holding, as he also had a huge blush on his face from what he was seeing.
"R-Robecca, w-why are you topless!?" He asked, his voice stuttering. Venus was laughing at how much her boyfriend was bluching at Robecca's topless body.
"W-Well, my hatch is under my shirt, s-so I had to take it off." She said, also stuttering. The only male that ever fixed her was her father, but he had disappeared over a hundred years ago, so this is why she was so nervous about this.
"O-Oh, okay. If that's the case then." Zechariah said. He picked up all the tools he dropped and brought them over to the table, as he was trying his best to not stare at her breasts. He found the hatch opening on the left of Robecca and opened her up, as he was amazed at what he was seeing.
"Your reaction to Robecca being topless was priceless." Venus teased.
"You try being a teenage guy like me and not blush at a woman's bare chest." Zechariah said.
"Point taken." Venus said. Zechariah couldn't help but to admire what made up Robecca's circuitry.
"Boy, whoever made you was some technological genius." Zechariah said.
"My father, Hexiciah Steam, had built me." Robecca said.
"Well, I would definately love to shake his hand if I meet him." Zechariah told her, to which she now had a sad face. "What's wrong?" He asked.
"Well, my father had disappeared over a century ago and no one knows what exactly happened to him." Robecca sadly said.
"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully you'll get to see him face to face again one day." Zechariah said.
"Thanks, I hope that happens too." Robecca said. Somehow, Robecca's robotic heart was beating faster. Was she falling in love with Zechariah? Impossible! He already has a ghoulfriend and if he could have multiple ghouls, would he accept someone like her? She shook the thoughts from her head, as she needed to focus on the task at hand.
Zechariah was looking for the internal clock that Robecca had, which didn't take too long to find. He got busy working on it, as Robecca felt a bit of tickling within her circuitry from this. "Sorry, forgot to mention this might feel weird." Zechariah said.
"It's no big deal." Robecca said. She was really starting to like his kindness and generosity, even though she's only known him for a short amount of time.
It took Zechariah 10-15 minutes to fix Robecca's clock, as there was a lot of wires and things to fix. "There, all done." Zechariah said, as he closed Robecca's hatch. He then turned around, as to let the robot girl put her top back on. Once she did, he turned to face her again.
"That's twice you helped me out today. I don't know how I could ever repay you." Robecca said.
"Don't think too much of it. I saw the chance to help out and did that very thing." Zechariah said. as he put the tools back.
"But there has to be something I could do?" Robecca asked. That's when Zechariah put a hand on her shoulder.
"Like I said, you don't have to pay me back. I'm just glad I got to save a ghoul's life and help her be on time for things." He told her, which she gave him a big hug.
"You're the sweetest. Venus is lucky to have you." Robecca said.
"Zechariah and I are meeting some friends at the Maul, would you like to join us?" Venus asked, to which Robecca agree.
"Sure, sounds fun." Robecca said. They all left the lab and went to the Maul to hang out with the gang.
Alright, I think that's a good place to stop for now. Yeah, I got the idea for the ramp from Creaturemaster's story, though with a different outcome. Plus, I also thought it would be great to have someone other than Ghoulia good with robots.
Also, I know having a few chapters doesn't seem long to put in new relationships, but I did do a lot of timeskips between the first chapter and now for Zechariah and Venus to get to know each other. Anyways, hope you guys like the new chapter. See you soon.
