(I don't own Marvel and Star wars Stan Lee owns Marvel and George Lucas owns Star Wars. This is also my first fanfiction please be nice.)
Pilot Episode 1
On the night of Arizona, there is a celebration of the 4 of July. Children are running in joy and parents watch them; having a good time.
Games and prizes are up for anyone to win, and men and women, who are at work, are setting up the fireworks. Everyone is sitting far away from the fireworks and waiting to see the show.
A family of nine came to find a seat. A man with no hair and wears an SF Niners football hat, a watch and wears a shirt with a picture of a cat with sunglasses and wearing a royal color robe with a gold necklace. He wears jeans and Nike shoes. He is trying to find seats for his family.
His name is Hunter.
His girlfriend Jenifer, with her children, is trying to help him find some spots for them. She wears a purple dress with black pants and dress shoes. She always protects her children. Their names are Gary, Joe, Ben, and Carly.
Hunter only has two biological children, a second-born son name Sam and a firstborn daughter name Carmen. Sam is an amazing at video games. His hair is dark brown with tan skin and wears glasses. He is 7 years old and wears a blue shirt with black long pants. He plays video games and is always excited to have fun.
Carmen is 10 years and she has the same curly hair as her father did, tan skin, dark brown eyes. She wore a pink dress and long white socks and dress shoes. She wears glasses too.
"Alright, I found seats for everyone," Hunter said.
Hunter and Jenifer sat down along with the children and the announcer came to the microphone to say a few words.
"Hey everybody, how are you doing tonight?!"
Everybody cheered in joy and Hunter and Jenifer's children were clapping and cheering in excitement.
Carmen looked around and sees her Dad smiling in happiness at his girlfriend and his daughter, son, and the rest of the kids.
She looks at the announcer as he continues to speak. "Now before we begin the fireworks, we want everyone to begin the countdown."
"Guys, get ready," Hunter said
Everyone cheered and began to count down.
"10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1!"
The workers start on the fireworks and music came from the sound speakers, and the fireworks turn into many colors from red, blue, green, yellow, purple, and pink.
Everybody began to cheer loudly and clapping. Children began to say oohs and awe. Carmen and her family began to smile in joy. The announcer said to his workers to stop the fireworks for a moment and people were confused but the announcer explains.
"Before we continue, there is someone that we wish to introduce. She works with America's Army Air force." People began to gasp as if they know who he is talking about. Carmen is looking around, seeing people getting excited and she is confused. Carmen said to Jenifer "Jenifer, can I see my Dad for a minute?"
"Sure," Jenifer answered
Carmen walk to her father and sat on his lap and said "Daddy, who is he talking about?"
"Wait and see." Her Daddy answered
Carmen waited patiently and the announcer continued "Now She's Earth hero and galaxy's best friend. She is Carol Danvers, also known as Captain Marvel!"
Then everybody heard a sound from the air as if something is flying over them and people looked everywhere. Hunter's family looked behind them.
"Everybody look up," Hunter said and the family looks up and sees a big shooting star figure coming down and a bright aura surrounded the figure.
The aura faded away and the figure turns out to be a woman with long golden hair that loops from the bottom, 5'7 feet tall, her cheekbones showed a bit, black eyebrows, she has a strong jawline, brown eyes, a wears a uniform with red and blue colors and yellow highlights.
Her boots are red and have a star symbols on her torso.
Captain Marvel went to the microphone and thank the announcer and said "Hey everyone, are you having fun?"
Everybody cheered and children are very excited to see her.
"First, I want to say thank you to my boss Stan Lee for all the good things he's done for us and the world. That inspired me to do good for others."
Everybody clapped and Raquel was at awe when she sees Captain Marvel and the announcer continued the fireworks.
After that, parents and children are taking pictures and asking Captain Marvel for autographs, Hunter's family went to have fun.
Jenifer's children played games and Cody had a drink of soda and Carmen became very shy to see Captain Marvel but her Dad notice it and said "Why don't you talk to her, sweetie?"
Carmen looked up at her father and respond "I'm scared, Daddy. What if she doesn't like me?"
"Trust me, I met her, Carol and I go way back." Her Dad answered her and Captain Marvel noticed them coming towards her and said "Hi." To Carmen but Carmen move away from her a bit.
"Hey Carol," Hunter said
Captain Marvel looked up and recognizes him and gets up and puts her hand's hand on her hip and says "Hunter is that you?"
"It's been a long time."
"Yeah, I barely recognize you with the bald head of your."
Jenifer laughs at the way she said it along with her children and Sam did too.
Hunter said "Ha, whatever. Carol, can you please give my family a picture with you?"
"Sure," Carol answered
"This is Sam and Carmen, my children and this is Hunter and her children."
Captain Marvel bends down and said, "So Carmen and Sam, this is your Dad?"
"Yes." Sam and Carmen answered
"I am sorry for you two," Carol said with a teasing sincere, Carmen and Sam got confused but Hunter got annoyed.
They got together and took pictures, and Carmen said to Captain Marvel "You're cool!"
"Aw, thank you." Captain Marvel respond
She had her military bag with her before she came into the party; she brought out an S-H-I-E-L-D symbol cap hat and said to her.
"Here, my gift to you." Captain Marvel puts it on Carmen's head. She smiles and the hat sort of fits her. Hunter smiled and said "Thank You, Captain Marvel."
"You're welcome and Hunter; watch over yourself and your kids."
"I will."
After the party, Jenifer and the kids went back to her home, and Hunter took Carmen and Sam to his parents' home. He brought them to their bed and told them a story.
"Far away, in outer space, galaxies are defenseless against evil, but then a group of heroes and outlaws always saves the day. The bands of heroes are The Guardians of the Galaxy!" The kids were hearing the story and are amazed. "8 members are Groot the talking tree, Drax the Destroyer, Rocket Raccoon, (but if you say that he is a raccoon then he will get angry.) Mantis, the healer; Gamora bravest woman in the galaxy, and the leader of the team; Star-Lord."
"Who?" said Carmen and Alex
Their Dad laugh in joy and said "Exactly!"
He continued "There is also an amazing, awesome and greater hero than Star-Lord himself, his name is The Retriever, he has the power took to take away everyone powers but instead of using them; they don't get them back."
Carmen and Sam were surprised and said "How does he do that?"
"He uses his hands and the energy simply goes to him and they're gone."
Alex asks "Is he stronger than a bad guy?"
Hunter answered "Yeah."
"But Captain Marvel's strong too right?" Hunter questions
Mikey smiled simply and said "Captain Marvel and the Retriever are equally strong, there is no 'who's stronger than the other.'"
Carmen smiled but Sam said "But the Retriever is stronger than Captain Marvel!"
Carmen said "Take it easy, tough guy."
"One more story Daddy please," Carmen said with her puppy eyes.
Hunter playfully groans and said "Fine."
"Remember the story of Job in the bible?" They nodded
"People say when he passed away, his spirit lives on to a horse. People who have struggles in their lives but rises above it, they have a dream of the black horse running on the mountains. When they read the Book of Job, and believe that Job spirit lives onto the horse, they even see him in their dreams!"
"Some who struggled faced trials and hardships but choose to rise above it. They say that they have seen the horse in person walking, staring at the mountains, or cantering whenever someone is driving next to them. The color of the horse is black and when he looks at you, he sees a person who does not give up."
*NOTE: The Book of Job is real but the horse is not, I'm just adding an animal character.*
"Has anybody ever ridden on Job?"
"No" Her Father said.
"Some people tried to get him but he can never be tame. He is a very smart horse; he can only be tame by a person he trusts. But no one has ever tamed him."
"I can take him!" Carmen said
"No, you can't. You don't know how to ride on the horse." Sam argued
"I can learn how!"
"Hey! Hey! Calm down, both of you." Their father said
"Sorry." Sam and Carmen said
"Get some sleep, I will be here tomorrow."
"Bye Daddy." His children said and hugged him goodbye. As Hunter went outside his phone rang.
"Hey what's up?" Hunter said
"Hey it's time."
"What, are you serious?"
"NOW!"
"Fine, meet me at my house."
When Mikey came back to his house, he waited in the living room. Then the doorbell rang, he went up and open it.
He said "Welcome to my humble home."
"It looks like a dump. But at least it's not as bad as Peter's ship that reminds of Jackson Pollock." Says Rocket Raccoon
"HEY!" Peter Quill, also known as Star-Lord complains "I clean it up!"
Gamora said "And yet your ship is still filthy,"
"I am Groot (I think it's nice.)" Groot complimented
"Check out the size of this monster!" Rocket said in shock about T.V.
"Rocket that's not a monster. That is a square object. I don't see why you think that is a monster?" Drax said he does not understand what Rocket meant.
"It's called a T.V. Drax, it's supposed to entertain us," Hunter explained
"Why would you need this to entertain you?"
"Because- never mind." Hunter sighs and shakes his head
"This house is cozy." Mantis complimented
"So, are you packed up?" Rocket questioned
"Not yet, I'll meet you guys at the ship."
Later, Hunter is walking towards the ship but before he got on he looked up at the night sky and prayed "Lord, please let this be the last combat I have with the universe's vile enemy." He went on board the ship.
Star-Lord shouted"Everybody buckle up!"
Hunter brought his stuff toy Pickle Rick, with him. Star-Lord said "You have that 'thing' with you?"
"Hey you don't judge and Pickle Rick saved my life," Hunter complained to Peter.
"I am Groot." Groot said
"It's not creepy!" Hunter shouted
"It's creepy." Gamora said
And Peter Quill's ship 'The Milano' goes into space and blast off. Hunter looks out of the window and thinks about his family. Gamora sees this and said, "Don't worry, they'll be fine."
Hunter nodded.
*12 hours later*
"You win again!" Rocket laughs as he drinks some beer.
"I am Groot!" Groot cheered out loud
Star-Lord is setting a course to Earth and he played songs from the '70s.
"Yep, Thanos didn't know what hit him. Did you see the look on his face?!" Peter and Drax laugh out loud.
"Hunter, it seems like you're the only one who can beat the heck out of him," Peter said
Hunter however, seems to be sad but didn't explain why. Gamora notice it and sat down with him and said "You're upset."
"No, I'm fine."
"It's Thanos isn't."
"Yes."
"If there's anything I know about Thanos, is that he's never been beaten until you. He will go out to get revenge."
"I'm aware of that."
"So what are you going to do?"
"Earth's straight ahead!" Star-Lord shouted
Hunter looked at the Earth remembering his loved ones then got up and said "EVERYBODY STOP!"
Everybody freezes as he shouted and Star-Lord stops the ship.
"What's wrong?" Star-Lord questions
"I can't go back to Earth," Hunter answered
The Guardians of the Galaxy were surprised but lets him explain.
"Thanos is coming after me, and when he does he'll go after the people I love and Earth and you guys."
The Guardians looked at each other but Star-Lord said "But you can't leave your family."
"It doesn't make easy Star-Lord."
"But you can beat him."
"And send an army after Earth? No!"
Mantis got up and said "He is right."
Garmora got up also "I agree."
"So do I," Drax responds
Rocket said "What about your kids?"
"I rather leave them than to stay here and have that monster."
"I am Groot" Groot said and nodded
Hunter said to Star-Lord "Star-Lord, please."
Star-Lord wasn't sure but he said "Fine."
"But I must say my goodbyes," Hunter ordered
At home Hunter said goodbye to everyone. But Carmen and Sam are the only ones left but they're still asleep.
Hunter kissed them on their foreheads and whispers
"I love you guys" and went back on the ship.
*12 years later*
"Welcome to Daily Bugle News, I'm James Johna Jameson and today's topic is Captain Marvel. Since 2008, Captain Marvel was last seen in Arizona, celebrating the 4 of July but after she went the outer space, she never came back. 12 years we've been hoping and we continue to hope that she may come back soon. Captain Marvel, wherever you are, please come home. Now our next topic is President Stan Lee, discussing an issue about mutants"
A woman named Bryer Rose, turned off the T.V. and said "Carmen! Let's go, you got your horse class to begin."
"Yes Mom!" Carmen shouted back as a 19-year-old girl
Joy wore her day clothing of Tinker Bell shirt and jeans, black hair, brown eyes, and she is the bravest and amazing person anyone could ever meet.
Carmen grew up to learn about horses and she always wears the S-H-I-E-L-D hat that Captain Marvel gave her.
"Hurry up Carmen! Bryer Rose said
"I'm coming!" Carmen said as she puts on her riding boots.
"Hold on I got a phone call to answer." Her mother picked up the phone and said "Yes, Mayor how are you?"
Raquel went to the car in the garage and waited for her mom. Her mom comes into the car but seems to be upset. "Are you alright Mom?"
"Yeah I'm fine."
"Is it about the mutants?"
"No, it's the mayor, she doesn't who to trust."
What do you mean?"
"Victor Von Doom." Mom said insincerely
"Who's he?"
"Let's not talk about him right now alright? Let's talk about your birthday"
"Oh." Carmen became down about that. She doesn't celebrate her birthday since her father left but her Mom always cheers her up.
"Mom you know that I don't celebrate my birthday."
"I know but I want you to be happy not upset."
Carmen looked out the window and sees humans and mutants going to high school together, mutants are equal with humans but only in Arizona, the mayor and Vanessa made sure of that.
They help mutants live in peace.
Carmen's family almost has every power except for her. Her mother has Jedi powers, her siblings have the same thing.
Her second father Adam freezes time and rewinds, he can see the future but for only some time.
The family who doesn't have powers is Carmen's grandparent (her Dad's parents) is Nana and Tata.
It took 12 minutes for her mother to drop her off.
Carmen came out of the car but before she can go into Horseland Ranch farm, her mom said "Carmen, I love you and happy birthday."
Carmen said "Thanks Mom."
She drove off.
"Hey Joshua." Said Carmen
"Hey, there she is!" Her horse instructor said giving her a high five.
"How are you doing?" He asks
"I'm good. Horse riding my thing."
"Alright." John laughed
After inside class, Carmen and her classmates went to get their horses, Carmen rides on Cindy, a dark brown horse. They walk, trotted, and climb on the short mountain.
After riding, Carmen began to untack her everything from the horse, but then she notices a man wearing a dark coat clothing, white shirt, and white skin and dark hair.
He talking to Joshua and Esther, but Carmen ignored it and moved on.
"What's her name?"
Carmen turns to where she heard that question.
And there is a woman with blonde hair and blue eyes, slightly tan skin, and black eyebrows; she is leaning her arms on the fence and she is smiling with a gentle smile.
"Her name is Cindy."
"Aww, that's a beautiful name."
"Who are you?" Carmen ask
"Susan Storm."
"Are you here to ride?"
"No, I'm Victor Von Doom's assistant."
"That guy is Victor Von Doom?" Carmen said and pointing her finger at him.
Susan Storm looked over and back and said "Yep."
"He looks scary," Carmen said in a sarcastic tone
"He does but don't worry."
Kachina began nickering, Carmen patted on her shoulder.
"You want to pet her?" Carmen ask her
"Um…sure," Susan answered
Susan came closer and became casual but Raquel told her. "Don't worry, just stand next to her and talk to her and pet on her shoulder."
Susan stand next to her and said "Hey." And pet Katchina softly. Katchina had her ears up and forward at an interest. Susan began to be amazed. Then they both heard a sound of dropping and that's because Kachina pooped.
Susan and Carmen laugh but it got interrupted by Victor.
"Susan. I see you're having fun."
Both Susan and Carmen looked at Victor Von Doom Standing in front of them and it looks like he is faking a smile. Susan was shocked and said "Victor, this is um…"
"I'm Carmen" Carmen said and she raises her hand to shakes his.
"I'm Victor Von Doom. Sovereign ruler of Latveria." He states his name. They shake hands and he continued to speak.
"So you're a horse rider I see?"
"Yeah," Carmen answered
"It must be fun."
"It's fun."
"May I touch the horse?"
"Sure."
But before he can touch the horse, Cindy began to startle up and try to pull away from him. Carmen, Susan, and Victor step away but Carmen grabs the lead rope and uses her right hand to calm her Cindy and when she did, Carmen said: "I'm just taking her to her stall." They nodded and went back to Joshua and Esther's classroom.
"Cindy, are you alright?" Raquel ask
Cindy looked and rubbed her face on Raquel's chest.
Carmen took her to the stall and came back to the front yard.
She texted her mom and waited for her. Susan came out of the classroom.
She sat next to Carmen and said "Are you waiting for someone?"
"My mom."
"Oh. So you love horses?"
"Yeah, someday I'll get my own horse."
"Wow!" Susan shouts but not too loud.
"Yeah, but now I'm barely learning how to gentle them."
"So are you two dating?" Carmen said as she points her finger to Susan and Victor while he talks to John.
Susan was startled but said "No. I just work for him."
"Oh." Carmen only answer to that.
*Honk Honk*
They heard the sound of the car horn and turn around and it is her mother.
"I got to go, nice to meet you," Carmen said her goodbye.
"It's nice to meet you too." They shake hands and Carmen went to the car, got inside with her mother, and mother spoke "How was school?"
"Good. Cindy freaks out though."
Mom asks "How come?"
"Because of the guy name Victor Von Doom tried to pet her but that she got frightened."
Vanessa said "What! He's here already?"
"He's the guy you talked about?" Carmen question
"Yeah, I told the mayor not to trust him."
"Why not?"
"I not sure. When I have a meeting with him or whenever I hear about him or see him, he seems arrogant, a tyrant, and untrustworthy."
Carmen nodded and said nothing.
"I got a surprise for you at home."
"What is it?
"Your uncle Gambit is going to be at your party."
"He is?" Carmen said in shock
"Yeah, it's your 20th birthday, everyone is going to be there."
Carmen however got upset when her mom everyone going to be there, but her dad.
Her mom notices this and said "Sorry that I mention that."
"It's ok, you didn't mean to," Carmen said
When they went home, Carmen and Bryer Rose came to the living room and notices that half of the room is decorated.
Rene (Second father and husband of her mother) hangs the banner across the living room.
"Hi baby," Bryer Rose said
"Hey Adam," Carmen said
"Hey, happy birthday Carmen." Adam reply
"Thank you."
"Carmen, go upstairs please." Her mother asks
"Why?"
"Because I told you so!" Her mother said in a stern voice.
Carmen nodded in little fear of her mom and went upstairs.
"NO! YOU BETRAYED ME DANG IT!" That ranting noise is her brother Sam playing online video games. "Sam, be quiet," Carmen said
Sam got up and closes the door. Carmen got to the bedroom with her sister Donna. She is the daughter of Adam and Bryer Rose and sister of Sam and Carmen, with brown blonde hair and brown eyes with white skin and always wears dresses and pants. She is kind, cool, good, and amazing.
"Hi Donna."
"Hi, Carmen. happy birthday," Donna said
"Thank you."
How come you're not downstairs?" She asks
"Because mom said so. Can you pass me that headphone?"
Donna raised her hand and the headphone levitated and floated to Carmen.
"Thank you."
"Sam and Donna!" Their Mom shouted
"Yes!" They shouted back
"Come here!"
"But I'm busy!" Sam said
"NOW!"
Alex and Rhyana ran carefully downstairs in fear of their mom.
Carmen puts on her headphone and puts on the song 'Drift Away' by Dobie Gray because it was her Dad's favorite song. Her eyes close slowly close, took a deep breath, and began to sleep.
Then an hour later, her mother shook her and said "Wake up, sweetheart. Get dress and go downstairs."
Raquel did as her mother told and went downstairs. The living room is dark then lights up and a big shout came out and the living room echoed.
"SURPRISE, HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARMEN!"
Carmen smiled because her entire family is here in the living room and her little cousins ran to her and hugged her and kept on saying her name.
Her aunt Carly (Bryer Rose's sister) came and said "Happy Birthday."
They walked her to the dining room and there is the birthday cake on the table and the candles are lighted up. "Make a wish!" her mother said.
But when Carmen looked at the icing that said 'Happy 20th Birthday', she began to become sad and realized that it's been so long since her Dad left. So she ran upstairs to her room, leaving everyone in question. Her mom sighs because she figured out what's wrong and said "Everyone let's have dinner and I'll go see Carmen."
They agreed and Carmen went upstairs. Carmen lies on the bed and holds a picture of her friends. Autumn, Tom, and Daniel. Remembering all the times that they hang out together, but they left to New York and live there.
Her mom knocks on the door and said: "Hey, are you alright?"
"Yeah, sorry about leaving," Carmen answered
Her mom sat next to her and said "I know why you left."
Carmen responds "I know that I'm not the only one whose father left and I don't want to act like one but it's hard."
Her mom hugs her and said, "I don't why any father would leave their kids but I'm here and you have wonderful cousins who love you and family who are there for you."
Carmen looked at her mom and she touches Carmen on her cheek with her hand. Her Mom continued "And you got God with you too."
Carmen nodded
"I got to go." Mom got up and left to the door. "Let me know that you coming downstairs before your cousins eat your cake."
She closes the door and Carmen looked out of the window that's next to the bed.
Later in the dining room and the family was waiting for her but nothing happens. So her Mom said "Alright, who wants the cake?"
"NO SHALL EAT THAT CAKE EXCEPT FOR ME!"
Everyone turned and sees Carmen at the bottom of the stairs, pointing the cake, and again her cousins ran to her and hugged so tight that she couldn't move.
So they played games, had a cake and had fun.
Everyone went to their home and Carmen's family went to bed but then Carmen's phone rings and she picked it up.
"Hello?" Carmen says as she rubs her eyes.
It was her friend name Amy "Hey, Joshua and Esther need help, there is a horse who is angry and it looks like it's been abandoned, they need every volunteer because the horse is coming to the ranch!"
Carmen and her mom are already driving down the road. But when they were at the ranch, already there are cops, ambulance, and the ranch's volunteers at the entrance of the gates.
Carmen got out of the car and ran to the farm, she saw a big trailer that holds horses and everybody is surrounding it. Joshua and Esther came and told Carmen to stand next to Amy and wait there.
Carmen and Amy looked at the trailer, suddenly everyone can hear the sounds of bagging and the horse's neighing is so loud that all of the animals got its attention.
"Everyone get ready!" said Esther as her husband John goes inside and uses a halter and lead rope on the horse.
But when he came out, the horse came out of the trailer in anger and panic.
Everyone is surprised because the horse acts like it is in a fight. It raises its front two legs up in the air and uses its back legs to support it. Its eyes widen in a state of shock, breathing hard, it looks damaged because there are bruises on its body, and it's trying to get away from the volunteers and cops who are trying to calm it down.
Some of the volunteers help Joshua grab the lead robe and some of the volunteers try to open the stall door, Kristen and Raquel were watching and waiting for their orders.
"Carmen, Amy, you both give him 2 alfalfa hays!" Joshua shouted
They both speed walk to the feed ben, because they don't want to disrupt the other horses who's on the other side of the field, they went to the hay and came back and saw the horse inside the stall.
It began to calm down but a bit stiff, so they carefully place the hay inside the bucket. The horse notices it and went for it, but when Raquel look at it; she stared at its eyes.
The horse stared back at her and calmed down but there something about the horse that seems different.
"Carmen, stay away from him!" Amy said
She did and her mom is standing at the entrance looking at the horse in wonder. John and Sheila step up in front of everyone and said "Everybody, this is Job; from the stories, we were told by our parents!"
Everybody is amazed and at wonder. Carmen is astounded too but her mom shouts her name and went back to the car and left.
Carmen lies down on the bed now that she and her mom are at home, she can't believe that the horse was staring at her.
And that is only the beginning.
