Azul
New York, one of the most beautiful and tough places to be. There is a certain art club that is a homelike place for a certain great artist.
Her name is Autumn, she is 20 years old, she wears glasses and has red side shaved hair. She's white and always wears red pants and a black shirt. She is painting a picture of an anime character and soon gets a text from a friend, she gets excited, packs her things, and rushes outside. And she heads to a comic book store called, Comic Casino.
The owner, Bobby Drake, gives a Hulk issue 7 comic book to another 20 years old, a boy with dark hair and also has glasses and white skin, brown eyes, he's fat but he has a heart of gold. He smiled in excitement once he got it.
"Here's the Hulk issue 7, Tom." Bobby said.
"Thanks, I'll be at the convention." Tom said
"Bye, Tom!" Bobby smiled and said goodbye
As Tom got out of the Comic Casino, Autumn ran to him and spoke, "Tom, where is your costume, the comic-con convention is starting!"
"I know, but this is the new Hulk comic book, I bought it before anyone else could!" Tom said
Autumn looked at him with a glare and Tom said truthfully "Ok, I gave it to Daniel for a couple of bucks, and he stitched it up to make it buffier and studlier."
"Oh no, who's next on his 'My future girlfriend' list?" Autumn asks but knows the answer.
"Zoe Zimmer." Tom said (F.Y.I. I don't own Zoe Zimmer she's owned by Marvel.)
Soon a man walked on the sidewalk with a Captain America costume hearing today's music, he has light-dark skin, with a bit of afro hair, and brown goatee and a mustache. He wears a very nice pair of Nick's shoes.
This is Daniel, he sees Zoe Zimmer, a rich, spoiled blonde girl, walking out of the mall. He sprays his mouth with a freshener and checks his armpit to see if it stinks.
She's on the phone and Daniel walks to her, puts his elbow on the wall, and says, "Hello Zoe, check out this costume, it's made of boyfriend material."
Zoe closes her phone, sees Daniel and says, "I love the costume, I hate the guy wearing it."
Daniel got upset but kept it on the inside. Her limo came and she got in and left.
Autumn and Tom were standing behind him and saw everything and couldn't help but laugh. Daniel, disappointed but didn't take it seriously, turned to his friends and said, "Hey, she is not my type anyway."
"Yet, you still asked her?" Tom said
"I'm desperate, OK!" Daniel complains, "How don't have a love life?!"
"At least you got a costume of Captain America." Autumn said, "I barely finished my cosplay of Captain Marvel."
"Are you going to wear a new costume, Tom?"
Daniel ask
Hopefully, not a Thor costume, honestly his helmet is stupid and he is so skinny." Autumn said
"I guess I'll be the Hulk."
"What! Why the Hulk? He's a monster!" Daniel shouted
"No, he's not! He's just a misunderstood creature and it's the government's fault he's that way."
"Hey stop! If Tom wants to be the Hulk, he can." Autumn said
"Fine, let's hurry up and go to the convention." Daniel said
They went to the convention and had fun, during lunchtime, Tom's reading the Hulk comic with green paint on his face, arms and hands.
Daniel's reading a comic book of Captain America, and Autumn's drawing a cool outfit she liked. At the cafeteria, there are two T.V.s up in each corner and the news came up.
"This is Daily Bugle News, I'm James Jonah Jameson, It's been three months since the owner, Tony Stark has been missing in action due to a terrorist attack, now Obadiah Stane in charge of Stark Industries and most likely taking over industries permanently. Tony Stark, we hope you're alright."
"Man, 3 months?" Daniel said
"It's sad, I hope he's safe." Autumn responds
"Now the next topic, there is a menace in New York, he thinks that he's outside of the law. His name is Spider-Man! That bug needs to understand that New York doesn't need a nuisance like him!"
"But spiders aren't bugs." Daniel said
"Let it go, Daniel." Autumn answered
"Our last topic is the mysterious horse in Arizona, no one knows who the rider is or the horse, we were told no comment on that day because of authorities, but then we heard rumors that the horse riding on the wall could be the legendary horse name Job. In my opinion, I can care less about the story of Job, so moving on to sports!" James Jonah Jameson said
"Can you believe that a horse can walk or run on walls?" Tom said
"I'm pretty sure it's fake, besides that's impossible." Autumn said
"Yeah, just like a smartphone can't become a touch phone, but wait here it is!" Daniel said as he picked out his phone and continued to talk, "And a weak man can't become a strong super soldier in one day like Captain America, but wait here it is!" Daniel shows his Captain America comic book. Autumn only glares at him.
Suddenly, cops came into the cafeteria and said, "Everyone remain calm and evacuate the convention. We have a Code Blue, I repeat a Code Blue!"
"Wait, what does Code Blue thing mean?" Daniel ask
"Supervillains!" Tom answers him
Everyone went outside but they heard crashing and everybody ran for cover. Autumn, Tom, and Daniel ran to run to an Alleyway to get some room and saw a bank that is 5 feet away from the Convention, and cops surrounded the entrance because the bank appears to have a big hole in the front.
Suddenly, a big boulder came out and hit the ground and the cops were frightened but stayed in their position, then four guys came out. They are the Wrecking Crew, a band of villains who are somewhat like construction workers but evil.
The leader of the crew is The Wrecker, he has white skin, wears a purple ski mask, with a dark green shirt and pants, and uses a crowbar as a weapon.
"Hello, Coppers." He said in a scary voice
The guy who threw the boulder is Thunderball, he has dark skin with a green jumpsuit and a yellow mask. He pulls the boulder back.
The guy from each side is Piledriver and Bulldozer.
Piledriver has blonde hair, a red mask, a white jumpsuit, white skin, and red pants. And Bulldozer wore an orange jumpsuit with a gray helmet and boots and gloves.
"It's the Wrecking Crew!" Tom shouted
"Wrecking Crew, stand down and surrender!" A cop with a microphone said
The Wrecker did an evil smile, raised his crowbar and slammed it down on the ground and huge rocks came up and went underneath the police car, hit the bottom and it bounced off in the air and crash-landed in another police car.
The Wrecker said, "Piledriver, get the money and go!"
He nodded and went back to the bank, people who were standing behind police blocks were scared, and then Daily Bugle News workers came from the crowd.
A woman came out with a microphone speaker and a camera-man was with her. She gets prepared to report and the camera-man turns on the camera and the woman says, "Breaking news, cops are being attacked by the Wrecking Crew, who are robbing the bank during the middle of a Comic-con Convention!"
Autumn, Daniel, and Tom tried to go to the police block but stayed quiet, Autumn looked at the other side of the Alleway and saw someone running with a blue shirt and blue pants.
Autumn was shocked but Daniel shouted, "STOP!", the rest of them stopped because a police car landed in front of them. The Wrecking Crew laughed and the cops were preparing to fire, however, The Wrecker said, "Uh, Uh, Uh.", shaking his finger, and continued "If you fire at us, we'll destroy that convention!" He pointed at the convention.
Autumn, Daniel, and Tom were terrified, the cops lowered their weapons, but The Wrecking Crew did an evil smile and The Wrecker said, "Who am I kidding, destroy everything!" The Wrecking Crew ran to the convention.
The people got scared and The Wrecker tried to hit the convention with the crowbar. Daniel is shocked and scared, he ran to save the convention but Tom and Autumn grabbed him and pulled him back.
However, a random rope that's shaped like a hoop grabs the crowbar and something makes it pull the crowbar away from the Wrecker. The one who pulled the rope with the crowbar is a cowgirl with a blue long sleeve shirt with a black west and blue pants, she has a black cowgirl's hat and a red bandana and brown boots.
As the crowbar heads towards the girl, instead of grabbing that crowbar, it hits her on the head and she simply falls on the floor.
"OW!" The cowgirl said and rubbed the top of her head.
The Wrecking Crew and everybody got confused, the cowgirl looked up and said "I mean, STOP! What has this convention done to you?"
"Who are you supposed to be?" The Wrecker said
"My name is Azul, a cowgirl of New York City!" she said and tipped her hat.
Autumn looked at her and recognized, she was the one who ran on the other side of the Alleway.
The Wrecking Crew began to laugh at her.
The Wrecker said, "Boys, take care of this kid!"
First, Piledriver drops the money bags and runs towards her and tries to punch her, Azul dodge to the right and turns around, raises her left foot and hits him on the face, and he's knocked out.
The Wrecker is surprised and tries to hit her with his fists but Azul quickly jumps to the left and brings her rope with her, unties the crowbar and spins the rope around, and throws it to the Wrecker's hand and pulls him to her and punches him in the face causing him to fall on the ground.
Azul quickly unties the Wrecker's hand and sees Bulldozer running towards her and then soon sees Piledriver getting up from the ground and running towards her as well. She looks up and a street light is above her, she uses her rope and throws it on the street light and grabs the rope and pulls herself up, making Bulldozer and Piledriver run to each other.
Azul came down from the street light, Thunderball swung his boulder at her, and she got hit by it. The impact made her hit the wall, she fell on the ground but she got back up and got to her fighting stance. Thunderball swings the bolder again, but this time she runs and jumps over the chain. She uses her legs to swipe Thunderball's legs and causes him to fall.
The Wrecker gets up and grabs his crowbar and sees Azul and tries to hit her.
Azul dodges it and rolls over towards Autumn, Daniel, and Tom. When Azul sees them, she is shocked.
The Wrecker said, "Nice to meet you, Azul now here's my goodbye!" he raises his crowbar, and when he swung it down, Tom jumps in and grabs the crowbar, Daniel runs and tries to pull away The Wrecker's right arm because he is trying to hit Tom. The Wrecker moves back but Tom and Daniel continue to hold on.
"Excuse me, can you give me a boost!" Azul asks
Autumn answers "I guess?"
Autumn puts her hands together and Azul puts her foot on them, Autumn boosts her up and Azul jumps, and air kicks the Wrecker, and he falls.
The people clap and cheer because the fight is over and then Azul looks at Autumn, Daniel, and Tom and has sympathy for them, but soon a cop said to Azul, "You freeze!" and she began to run. Autumn, Daniel, and Tom stared at her as she ran.
Azul runs to an Alleyway and sees metal stairs that are attached to the wall in apartments. She uses the rope to pull down the ladder so she can climb up the stairs, soon the cops found her. Azul realized that stairs were too slow for her to go away, so she uses the rails and jumps up to the next rail.
When Azul got up to the top, she ran towards the edge of the roof to see if there was a way down.
But she only looks down only to see roads and cars, sidewalks, and a garbage dumpster below.
"Hurry! She's upstairs!" a cop said
Azul has no choice but to jump and land on the dumpster, and she closes the lid. The cops on the roof looked around and saw no sign of Azul. The cops got off the roof and left the area. Azul opens the lid and looks around and comes out of the garbage.
Later, Azul was inside the subway and people looked at her and covered their noses, a man shouted out "YOU STINK LADY! LITERALLY!" A little girl took a picture of Azul and before she could post it, Azul brought out 500 dollars in cash and said, "I will give you 500 dollars if you don't post that picture." The little girl agreed.
When the subway stopped, everyone ran from smell and Azul ran to find cover, soon she saw a guy selling trench coats, and Azul went to him and said, "400 dollars for a trench coat!"
"Sold!" He answers
Azul is walking with the trench coat on, and heads to a place she lives in, Emma's Home For Horses.
Azul sneaks inside the indoor farm and finds herself inside the stall with horses, suddenly the lights are on and Emma Frost is standing by the door. "No use of hiding, I can smell you from here." she said.
Azul gets upset and takes off her hat and bandana.
Azul is Carmen, the hero of New York.
"I saw the news, you were fighting the Wrecking Crew and you look like Oscar the grouch." Emma said
"I heard that this is New York's latest style" Carmen said and found a banana peel on her shoulder.
Emma walks towards Carmen and she is holding something behind her, she bought it out and it is a car air freshener, she puts it on Carmen's shoulder.
Emma steps back and says, "It looks great on you."
Carmen gently smiled but Emma said, "My goodness, take a shower, you smell like you jump on a dumpster!"
And Carmen glared at her.
Carmen finally got the garbage stench away and went to visit the stalls.
At Emma's Home of Horses, she is the 2nd richest person in the world, she helps horses from abuse and abandonment, she hired lots of people to help horses. There are 60 horse stalls.
Carmen found Job's stall, number 7, he enjoyed the place, he bonded with other horses and people. She gave him an apple. She said, "Hey Job, being spoiled again?"
Job looked up at and there is joy in his eyes. Before Carmen could take him for a ride, she raised her arm and she felt pain on her arm.
"OW!" Carmen whispers
"Carmen, go to the infirmary!" Emma Frost shouted
"But how did you know?!"
"Just go!"
Camren sighs and goes to the infirmary. A doctor named Kevin, he is a fun-loving doctor who has dark hair, blue eyes, white skin. He always wears his doctor's uniform. He is sitting on his chair and Carmen is sitting on the gurney.
"Good news Carmen, it looks like it's only a bruise. The bad news is, you smell like trash!"
"But I just took a shower!" Carmen said
"Well, it seems like it's not making any progress on you." Carmen glared at him.
"If only someone can speak to Emma Frost for me about Job being my partner?" Carmen begged
"Let me think about it...nope."
"Come on, whenever I see her, she always says no before I ask her."
"It's not Emma you should be worrying about." Kevin said and pointed at someone at the door.
"CARMEN!"
"Crap." Carmen said
Caleb is Carmen's combat trainer, his hair is black, tan skin, and wears blue pants and a plain shirt, and he yells a lot.
"YOU FOUGHT THE WRECKING CREW?!"
"Yes, but the people and the cops needed help"
"Oh yeah, let's go and help people without complete training or strategy and least of all, a team to back you up and help win." Caleb said sarcastically
"When you say it like that then it sounds bad." Carmen stated
"At least she beat the Wrecking Crew without collateral damage." Emma Frost said, entering the room.
"But she's not ready to fight bad guys!" Caleb shouted
"But you said that I can learn to defend myself." Carmen replied
"That doesn't mean you go off and fight off bad guys, that's what cops are for and WHY DO YOU SMELL LIKE GARBAGE?!"
"I jumped inside the garbage dumpster because the cops were chasing me."
"Well, FIND A WAY TO SMELL BETTER!" Caleb shouted
As they walk out of the infirmary, Carmen asks Caleb "But wait, may I ask you something?"
"Fine, what is it?" Caleb complained
"Can you please make Job my partner?"
"What?" Caleb, Emma, and Kevin said
"How can I help people if I can't have any transportation? I can't always pay for a taxi, and I can't go on subways every time." Carmen explain
"Carmen, a horse or any other animal can't be a hero." Caleb said
"It's like you're saying that a weak man can't be a super soldier and fight for what right...but wait here it is!" Carmen pulls out a poster of Captain America.
"Carmen, it's for your protection, Job's powers would be compromised by Hydra." Emma said
"But Job can be a hero, give him a chance."
"I'm sorry Carmen, but no." Caleb said and soon walked away with Emma to get back to work.
Carmen is upset and decides to go for a walk, she grabs her purse and says, "I'm gonna take a tour of New York, bye."
Kevin nodded and Carmen left.
Back at the Comic Casino, Autumn, Daniel, and Tom were reading comic books, Tom said, "I can't believe there's a cowgirl hero! She defeated the Wrecking Crew!"
"Yeah, but I could've done better." Daniel responds, "I was just letting her fight for me."
"Daniel, you couldn't have done better. The only thing you can do is being the bane of women's existence." Autumn said
Daniel glared at her and responds, "I'm going to find a new comic book, and not be offended by a simple insult." He walks away and fake cries.
"The hero is cool, but she should have a horse with her. She has no idea how much taxis cost these days." Autumn said
"That would be cool if she can make the horse a hero, we need something new for once." Tom replied
Outside the Comic Casino, Carmen is walking down the street and sees the Casino, she walks in and looks around. Autumn looked up and saw Carmen, got up, and said "Carmen, is that you?"
"Autumn?" Carmen said, and Tom and Daniel looked at her and said at the same, "Carmen?"
"Daniel and Tom?" Carmen said in excitement.
They all hugged each other and cheered and Autumn said, "Wow, Carmen you're here in New York!"
"You still have that red hair of yours, that's always a good look on you." Carmen said
"Thanks." Autumn responds
"Tom, my favorite fellow nerd. What's up, man?" Carmen smiled
Tom said, "It's great to see you, Carmen."
"And Daniel, I can't believe it's been 20 years, you are ugly!" Carmen teased him
"Really? That's messed up." Daniel complains
"How long have you been here?" Autumn question
"3 months, but I forgot that you guys are here." Carmen answers
"How come you're in New York?" Tom questions
"I work with Emma Frost to help horses." Carmen answers
"Wait...Emma Frost! Man, she's hot!" Daniel shouted
"DUDE, stop saying that my boss is hot, that's dumb!" Carmen said
"So you ride on horses?" Daniel asks, changing the subject.
"Yeah, I have a horse, wanna see?"
"Yeah, sure." Autumn agreed
"Are there going to be cute girls over there?" Daniel said
"There will be cute animals." Carmen smirked
"Nope, not interested." Daniel stated
"Hey, you're not cute to them either." Carmen stated
"Sure, I'll go, I'm bored anyway."
"Let's go." Carmen goes to the door and before she opens it...
"Carmen, I have a question." Tom asks
"What?"
"Why do you smell like trash?"
"Oh come on, let's go!" Carmen complains
They went to Emma's Home for Horses, and Carmen gave Autumn, Daniel, and Tom a tour.
"These stalls are rooms where horses go to rest and relax and for those who have been recovered from abuse and can finally find a home."
"So, where's your horse?" Tom asks
"He's right here." Carmen answers
She walks them to Job's stall and they were amazed to see the all dark horse.
"Whoa, who is this?" Daniel ask
"Guys, this is Job." Carmen said
"Wait, Job as in the horse from our parent's stories?" Autumn asks
"Yes, he had bruises from bad people but we helped him." Carmen explain
"Wait, did he climb on walls or deflect bullets by his skin, I heard a rumor about that?" Tom said in excitement
"What, no. That's fake news" Carmen said to keep the secret
"Aw too bad, that would have been so cool if he can do that, there's a new hero named Azul, she's a cowgirl and she fought the Wrecking Crew!"
"Yeah, the only problem is that she doesn't have a horse, it would be awesome if they were partners!" Daniel said
"Wow, that's sad." Carmen responds but feels the irony
"Who are your friends, Carmen?" Emma Frost question
They see Emma Frost and Carmen introduce her friends to her.
"Emma, this is Autumn, Daniel, and Tom." Carmen said
Autumn shook hands with her and Tom shook hands with her too, Daniel stared at her face and tried to speak.
"You are a babe!" Daniel shouted
Everyone looked at him and Carmen said, "No wonder why you're the bane of women's existence!"
"Sorry, ma'am." Daniel said with his head down
"It's ok, just think before you say something." Emma smiled and walked away from making it more awkward.
Carmen said, "Good job on making an embarrassment of yourself."
Daniel shouted, "Shut up!"
"Can we see you ride?" Tom ask
"Yeah, sure!" Carmen answers
"CARMEN!" Caleb shouted
"Oh, man!" Carmen complained
"There is a major horse poop stacked in Stall 20, go out there and fix it!" Caleb ordered her
"But I want to ride on Job for my friends."
"No, you are picking up poop like a pro and not complaining about it. GO!"
"Sorry, guys." Carmen said
"It's okay, we'll just go, see you tomorrow, Carmen." Daniel said
"Yeah, sure. Bye, guys." Carmen said
They all left and Carmen went to pick up the poop.
"Carmen, I was thinking, I guess I'm wrong about Job." Caleb said
Carmen turned to him with hope on her eyes.
"Maybe we can turn him into a hero, and your partner."
Carmen's eyes were full of joy and she hugged him and said, "Thank you, I will not let down!"
"Yeah, yeah whatever. Don't make me regret it." Caleb said and left.
Carmen went to Job's stall and said, "You hear that Job, you're going to be a hero!"
But instead of a happy expression Job should have, he just looked at her and went back to eat hay.
Carmen said, "This is awesome!"
The next day, Carmen and Job are at the arena and Carmen is learning a move that she has never before.
Trick Riding.
"Trick Riding?" Carmen questions
"Yes, trick riding can help you fight criminals, and can help you balance on your horse." Caleb said
"But I'm not advanced enough to trick ride." Carmen said
"Carmen, you took on The Wrecking crew on your own, I believe you can do this." Caleb reassured her
"Ok, but wait I don't have a trick riding saddle." Carmen stated
"Don't worry, a friend of mine named Pepper Potts and other technicians made a Mechanical Bronc Riding machine, also known as M.B.R."
"M.B.R?" Carmen questions
"Bring it in, boys!" Caleb shouted
A group of men brought a bronc like machine that helps balance bronc riders, they set it in the middle of the arena.
"Now, before you get a trick riding saddle, you can use this to help you find the right saddle for you."
"Okay, cool. So when do I get a trick riding saddle?" Carmen asks
"I don't know." Caleb answers
"WHAT!" Carmen shouted
"You'll have to wait for the trick riding saddle." Caleb said in fear
"Can I use other saddles to ride on him?" Carmen said
"I thought you said that 'it takes a while to find the right saddle for a horse and you can't use the same saddle because the other horse'?" Caleb said
"Right. Well, how can I trick ride on Job without a saddle!" Carmen shouted
"I don't know, I thought you had an idea." Caleb said
Carmen looked at Job and he looked at her, he stared at her in the eyes as if he was saying 'You got this.'
Carmen understood and said, "We got this."
"Ok, The move you are learning is called Stand Up, it's like standing up on your horse; it helps you learn how to balance on your horse.
"Okay, do you want me to jump on him, or do you have a step stool for me?" Carmen ask
"Nope, you'll have to jump on him bareback, for now." Caleb said
"Crap." Carmen complained
"Don't worry Carmen, I'm sure you got this." Caleb said
"Really?" Carmen smile
"Nope." Caleb answers
"Well, thank you for your confidence." Carmen said sarcastically
"Carmen!" Emma Frost shouts while she enters the arena
Carmen turned to her and Emma spoke "Your friends are calling you to meet them at Comic Casino."
"Okay, can we try the trick ride later?" Carmen asks Caleb
"Go ahead." Caleb answers, Carmen takes Job away to his stall, "In the meantime, I will be at peace by doing absolutely nothing." Caleb proudly state
"Caleb, I need you to do something." Emma Frost said
"Shit!" Caleb complained
At the Comic Casino; Autumn, Daniel, and Tom were waiting for Carmen and Autumn brought her pet hamster name Pucca, a chipmunk like hamster with a black stripe and white stripe, she's always inside a hamster ball.
Carmen came in and said, "What's up, guys?"
"Carmen, meet my pet hamster, Pucca." Autumn said
Carmen looks at Pucca, who is eating food. "Did you name her after that Pucca T.V show?"
"Yes, that T.V. show will always be in our lives." Autumn said
"Carmen, this is Bobby Drake, owner of the Comic Casino." Daniel introduce
"Hey." Bobby said
"Hey, my name is Carmen." Carmen waves at him and whispers to Daniel, "He's cute and he has nice hair unlike you."
Daniel gets upset and says, "Bruh." And Tom laughs
Comic Casino has an old T.V. on top of the desk and Bobby turned it on and the news came up.
"New York City, we have a new hero, her name is Azul, she saved a Comic-Con convention and police officers from The Wrecking Crew…"
"They're talking about Azul!" Tom said
Carmen looked at the News and watched James Johna Jameson continue, "This hero to me seems 'okay.' It would be better if she has a horse with her…"
Carmen gets upset.
"Now that would be something!"
"Even I thought of that!" Tom said
Carmen glared at him and he said, "What?"
*BOOM!*
The Comic Casino's doors have been destroyed by an unknown electrical force, Carmen, Autumn, Tom, Daniel, along with Bobby are hiding behind the desk. Autumn grabs Pucca's hamster ball to hide her. Then a man came in with a green jumpsuit with lighting feature lines from his head and down to his feet.
"My name is Electro, and I have come to get a hostage so that I can blackmail the people to give me money!" Electro spoke
"You can't have us!" Daniel shouted
"Yeah, don't get us, get him!" Carmen shouted
"For real?!" Daniel said and looked at her in shock.
Carmen said, "Sacrifices must be made, my Dad says so."
"No, I'm not getting him." Electro said
"Then who are you getting?" Autumn ask
"You!" Electro walks towards her and grabs her by the shoulder, Tom, Carmen, and Daniel get worried and try to save her.
Electro brought his hand up and said, "Nope, do that and she gets fried!"
They stepped back and Electro said, "Goodbye, losers!"
Electro took Autumn and used his lightning to fly up.
Daniel, Tom, Bobby, and Carmen got up from the desk, while simply Pucca rolled her hamster ball across the room. They went outside to see where Electro is taking Autumn.
"We got to go get her!" Daniel exclaim
"We can't, we don't have powers or anything!" Tom pointed out
"I'll get the police!" Bobby said and went to get his phone.
"I got to go!" Carmen said and ran off.
"Carmen! Where are you going?!" Daniel shouted
Carmen ran to Emma's Home for Horses and told Caleb what happened.
"You're not ready, Carmen." Caleb said
"My friend is in danger!" she said, "You have to trust me, Job, and I can find them."
"First, You have no idea where Electro or Autumn is."
"There at the Empire State Building!" Kevin said with his iPad
They looked at him and he explained, "Daily Bugle News has this video of Electro and Autumn." and it showed a live video.
"This is Electro, I have a girl here at the top of the Empire State Building and I want money. I'll let her go if you give me the money. And if cops show up and try to stop me, this girl is gone!" Kevin turns off the iPad.
Carmen in fear said, "Caleb, my friend is up there, and Job and I are prepared for this. Have faith in us. Please."
Caleb thought of it and said, "Alright, suit up, and I'll get Job ready."
Carmen said, "Thanks."
Later, Carmen is suited up and sees Job saddle with one of Emma's saddles, she sets her foot on the stirrup and says, "Alright, Job let save Autumn."
Emma Frost opens the stable doors and says, "Be safe."
Carmen nodded and shouted, "Go!" Job ran out of the stable doors. He runs on the road that leads to the entrance and sees the nearest building and sets his hooves on the wall.
He climbs to the roof and jumps from ceiling to ceiling to save Autumn.
At the Empire State Building, people gathered around and policemen tried to hold them back, at the top of the building; Electro is waiting for his money, and Autumn is tied up by a rope and sitting on the roof of the observatory.
"Electro!" A cop said with the microphone, "Release the girl now or else!"
"Nope, not until you get money!" Electro answers
Autumn is scared and worried. A bit far away from the Empire State Building, Carmen (in her Azul uniform) and Job are staring at the building.
"Alright, Job. How are we going to save Autumn?!"
Job turns himself invisible and Carmen said, "Oh yeah, I forgot about that.
Job rolled his eyes and Carmen said, "Let's go."
Job runs and jumps from building to building.
Carmen and Job are near the Empire State, and Job jumps on its wall. They ran to the top and Carmen got off of Job. When Carmen let's go of the reins and she is no longer invisible.
She sneaks to Autumn and whispers, "Be quiet, and follow me." Autumn nodded and Carmen untied the rope around her and quietly sneaks to Job.
But when Job stops being invisible so that Autumn can see him, Electro uses his lightning strike next to them.
"Azul, cowgirl of New York, I am Electro, and since you're stealing my hostage. I'll fry you with my electricity!" He said
"'Fry me with electricity.' Seriously, you can't come up with a better comeback? '' Carmen said
Electro gets upset and puts his hands together and creates a ball of lightning and throws it at Carmen. She dodges it and Autumn hides next to Job.
"What's your name?" Carmen asks even though she already knew.
"My name Autumn, Azul, what do I do?"
"Go on my horse and get out of here!" Carmen answers
She nodded and got on Job.
Job turned around and Carmen said, "Go, Job, GO!"
And spank him on the butt. He got angry and looked at Carmen.
"Well, I have to move your ass-..." Carmen said but soon went silent because she can see the anger in Job's eyes and Carmen responds properly.
"Beautiful and magnificent looking butt." Job rolls his eyes and climbs down. Autumn shrieks but soon becomes amazed by how Job is climbing down the wall. Electro is surprised too but soon uses his lightning on the ground and flies around the building.
He flies towards her and punches her on the face, Carmen turns around and jumps behind his back and grabs his shoulder, and steers him to the road.
Because of the police blocking the people from going to the Empire State Building, cars are stuck in traffic, and cops evacuated people from cars.
Carmen and Electro crash-landed on the road, Carmen got up and was ready to fight. Electro got up too and he was angry.
"You ruined my plans!" Electro said
"To be fair, it wasn't a good one." Carmen said
Electro raised his hands and threw lightning at her, she dodged it and ran towards him. She jumps and tries to air kicks him but he shocks her with his lightning. Carmen falls on the ground, Tom and Daniel come from the crowd and sees the fight.
Carmen gets up and rubs her head, she sees a dress store next to her and has an idea. Tom said to Daniel, "She can't fight him, she might get electrocuted if she touches him!"
"But where's Autumn?" Daniel asks
When he said, Job came down from the Empire State Building, ran to Daniel and Tom. Autumn jumped down from Job, and he ran to Carmen. Autumn says to her friends, "Guys, you're okay!", she looked to see Azul (Carmen) fight Electro.
"How can you fight someone whose power is electricity?" Autumn said
"Wait, I remember something, in the latest issue of a Spider-man comic book, Spider-man defeats him by using his web to cover his hands, so he can fight Electro."
"Rubber, glass, plastic, and cloth are the only ones that electricity can't touch!" Daniel said
Job hears this and runs to Carmen. Carmen sees Job, she jumps on the saddle and they jump towards the glass window of the dress store. Everybody's confused, even Electro, he walked to see the broken window.
Suddenly, Carmen and Job jump out of the store.
Electro got scared and moved out of the way. Carmen and Job landed on the road and it turns out she had gloves on her hands and shoe covers on her boots.
'Gloves?" Electro said, "Gloves and shoe covers can't protect you from this!"
He throws his lightning at her, Carmen and Job dodge the lightning and Carmen jumps and air kicks him, without getting shocked. He fell and looked up at her and Carmen said, "It just did."
He gets up and tries to punch her but Carmen uses her right hand and pushes away his fist, then uses her left arm to slide against her right arm and pushes Electro's fist further away from her. Soon, Carmen pulls her right arm to her waist and punches him.
The impact made Electro move back a little, and Carmen put her left hand against her waist and punched him again causing him to move a further. Her gloves protected her from being shocked.
"Surrender, Electro!" Carmen said
"Never!" Electro shouted
Electro gets up and uses lightning to push her away and Carmen finds herself flying off and hits the fire hydrant. The impact caused it to leak water, Carmen sees Electro flying towards her and when she gets out of the way, the water hits Electro.
The electricity shocked Electro, unconscious but alive.
The cops went Electro and put a coat around him to pick him up without getting shocked. They put him in a police car and drove away, the people looked at Carmen and her horse, Job, and they cheered for saving Autumn.
"Thank you, Azul!" Autumn shouted
"Your horse is AWESOME!" A random person shouted
Carmen and Job saw the cops coming, she left the gloves and shoe covers on the floor and $700 to pay for the glass windows. She quickly jumps on the saddle and turns to a building, she whispers to Job "Gallop, Job. Gallop!"
Job hears her and begins to run to the wall and climbs up. Autumn follows her to see where she is going.
When Carmen and Job got to the top, a Daily Bugle helicopter came with a spotlight.
"Climb down and turn invisible Job." Carmen said
Job listened to her and turned invisible and climbed down the bottom; they waited until the helicopter left. The helicopter left and Job stopped being invisible, Carmen took a breath and she said to her horse "Good boy, and sorry for the spanking."
Job looked at her and picked up his head and tapped on her head hard.
"Seriously!" Carmen shouted
Job smiled at her and she glared at him.
"Let's go." Carmen said but before she got on Job…
"Azul?" Autumn said
Carmen and Job looked at her and Carmen only said, "Awkward, um...hey ma'am, what are you doing here?"
"I just want to say thank you, Carmen" Autumn smirks
Carmen's eyes widened and she said, "I have no idea what you are talking about."
Autumn said, "Please, 'Go Job, GO!' does that ring any bells?"
"Oops." Carmen said and Job glared at her and Carmen complained, "Alright, fine."
Carmen removes her bandana and hat and she reveals herself.
Autumn covered her mouth and squealed with delight.
"OH MY GOSH, you're a hero! My best friend is a hero!"
Carmen rushed to her and said, "Be quiet, please."
"Sorry." Autumn said
"But yeah, I'm a hero!" Carmen squealed in delight too.
Job rolled his eyes at their Fan-Girling, he walked to Carmen and nudged her on her shoulder so that they could leave.
"Alright, bye Autumn. I'll see you tomorrow." Carmen said and got on Job.
"Ok, thank you, Carmen."
"You're welcome, Job ride on!"
Job looked to see if she is going spank him, and Carmen said, "I'm not spanking you!" Job sees a building, runs towards it, and climbs up to the roof.
When Carmen and Job ran to the entrance of stalls the automated doors opened and they went inside, Carmen pulled Job's reins and he stopped.
She untacks him, takes him to his stall, and says, "Thank you Job, for everything."
Job nodded and Carmen rubs his shoulder. Carmen walked to the main office, and said, "Caleb, Job and I are not just pros at saving people, we are one astounding, amazing, awesome, and humble…"
But instead of a warm welcome, Emma Frost, Caleb, and Kevin are standing with their arms crossed and they have anger on their faces.
Carmen is confused and casually finishes her sentence "Team?"
"Carmen, my arm is crossed and my face is angry, why?" Caleb said.
"Because I took the last popcorn, twice?" Carmen said in fear
"No, you idiot, And that popcorn thing, you'll pay!"
"Then what?" she asks
There is a couch in the middle of the main office and three people are sitting on it.
They stood up and went next to Emma, Caleb, Kevin.
They were Autumn, Daniel, and Tom.
"Oh shit." Carmen said
"So Carmen or should I say... Azul, you're the hero of New York huh?" Daniel said
Carmen looked at Autumn and Autumn said, "I didn't tell them anything."
"We kind of figured it out." Tom said, "And it is awesome!"
"I know right!" Carmen shouted
They all were talking about it like any fan would but Caleb shouted "STOP!"
Everyone looked at him and he spoke, "We are not having fun about Carmen being a hero, this is bad. If your friends know that you're a hero, they will expose you to the world!"
"Don't worry, we'll keep a secret." Daniel said
"Yeah, we won't say anything." Autumn replied
"Promise." Tom respond
"Nope, still can't trust you." Caleb said
"Hold on, I have an idea." Carmen answers
"What is it, I'm hiring a Chinese vengeance ghost so that Carmen will think twice about getting the last popcorn."
"Thank you for the spoilers." Carmen responds, "Look, I think that they can be heroes too."
"WHAT!" Emma, Caleb, and Kevin shouted
"WHAT!" Daniel, Autumn, and Tom shouted too.
"They can be heroes too, you said that I'm nothing without a team, and I found the best team I could ever have." Carmen explains
"Dude, we're going to be heroes!" Tom shouted like a true fan would do.
"That is awesome!" Daniel smiled in joy
"Whoot Whoot!" Autumn shouted
"NO, NO, NO!" Caleb said
"Caleb, A wise man once said this 'That person who helps others simply because it should or must be done, and because it is the right thing is a real superhero.' yesterday they helped me fight The Wrecking Crew. They have the potential of being a group of heroes, so what do you think?"
"Nope." Caleb answers
"Wow, I did not expect that." Carmen stated
"Caleb, I believe she's right." Emma Frost said
"They could be heroes." Kevin responds
"Fine, Carmen, your friends will be heroes. But you must be the leader."
"For real?" Daniel said "Why her?"
"Because a wise man once said, 'With great power comes great responsibility.' And Carmen is responsible for her teammates, Job, and the people around her. There will be a time whether you stand up or get knocked down, trusting yourself and those around you, standing up for what is right, staying true no matter what, and becoming brave when you need to be."
"Oh." Daniel admittedly regrets his question
"Carmen, are you responsible?" Caleb said
"Yes." Carmen said with a serious tone.
Caleb smiled in joy and said, "Good, and I am proud of you. Now, I heard that you three live in different apartments?"
Daniel, Autumn, Tom nodded.
"We have three rooms available, do you want to move in?" Caleb asks
"Sure!" They said at the same time.
"Now the step one of a hero group: a name." Caleb said
"How about 'team oddkids'?" Daniel said
"That's lame, it reminds me of you." Carmen responds and Daniel glares
"It needs something memorable." Carmen respond
"Something that people can shout the name." Autumn said
"Something is awesome." Daniel's thinking
"I got it! Marvel Fans!" Tom said
Autumn, Daniel, and Carmen agreed, Caleb responded: "Marvel Fans, I love it!"
"WE ARE GOING TO BE HEROES!" Daniel yells
Carmen, Daniel, Autumn, and Tom were cheering and Caleb whispered to Kevin and Emma, "I'm so breaking their spirits!"
Kevin and Emma shook their head because of Caleb's stupidity.
