*OPENING*
(Lala intro)
(Xion and Guthrie come down sliding panels one at a time, followed by Nami next to Xion and Ussop next to Guthrie. Nami shows the Log Pose to Xion, telling her where to go, while Usopp looks pompous while Guthrie shrugs his demeanor. Nami and Ussop are replaced by Zoro and Sanji respectively, and glare daggers at one another as Xion and Guthrie push them away from another. The two are replaced by Chopper and Robin respectively. Chopper dives into Xion's arms as she does a spin hug with him, while Guthrie observes the book Robin is reading with interest. The two are replaced by Allen and Chirithy, with Allen patting Xion's back, grinning at her as she blushes a bit, while Chirithy stands on a barrel, both he and Guthrie causing sparks to shoot at each other from their eyes. The two disappear, and Luffy appears between Xion and Guthrie, grabbing their shoulders and pulling them in as he grins. The two look at one another, and grin, as the background scene shifts to them being on the Going Merry, with the rest of the crew behind them.)
Hello, goodbye to repetition
We cannot be stop
Time to go around to our
Happy days, happy days
(The scene shifts to the sky, with the title of the story appearing)
Hello, goodbye, it cannot be stopped
Because there is desire
(Scene shifts to the Straw Hats on the ship, with Luffy Ussop fishing, Nami looking at the Log Pose, Zoro sleeping on the crow's nest, Xion helping Chopper with medicine while Chirithy watched, Robin reading her book, Allen practicing his dancing, and Sanji cooking with help from Guthrie.)
It's a journey that does not end
Keeps going, going!
(Xion steps back, wiping her forehead, then looking ahead to the endless sea beyond, wondering what lies ahead.)
You, are
Being shaken by your ragged feet
(Panning through a screenshot of Kokoro, Chimney and Gonbe and Yokozuna, to the Galley-La crew, to the members of the Franky Family, with Franky in front of them, to the masked members of CP9.)
Still, still
No one has much of anything!
(Nico Robin turns and walks away to the tower in Eniss Lobby, with Jabra, Kumadori and Fukuro silhouetted above, followed by Spandam, then Xaldin and Saïx. This shifts to the angered faces of Guthrie, Luffy and Xion.)
I feel like I can fly
I can fly anywhere
Whenever I'm with you
(The trio run through the town of Eniss Lobby, striking numerous Marines in their way, while the screen circles around the trio, ending with them standing in the middle of their Straw Hat crew (and Sniper King) on top of the building, facing Robin, Franky and CP9.)
No matter where we are
I feel like I am
Shivering everywhere
(The two Keyblade wielders thrust their Keyblades up at the villains, only to be interfered by the two Organization XIII members. They leap towards them, with Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hats following in pursuit. CP9, led by Saïx, Xaldin Leopard Lucci, leap at them, ready to clash.)
Together when I am with you
If you clench strongly
(Through all the battles of the Straw Hats, Second Gear Luffy starts fighting Leopard Lucci, with Xion fighting Saïx as hard as she could.)
No matter what happens
I'm moving forward
(Guthrie fights and parries off Xaldin, calling out to Robin with a free hand raised to her, as she stands there in the pitch black darkness.)
Together when I am with you
If you clench strongly
(Robin looks back at him, then closes her eyes as she recalls the memories of Ohara. A tear falls from her eyes, hitting a ground, which turns the darkness into the open sea and sky. More teardrops fall, forming white birds that represent each Straw Hat as they soar in the sky together.)
No, no
No matter where we are
I feel like I can fly
(The birds fly over the Going Merry, as it sails into the sun, with silhouettes of the Straw Hats smiling and grouped together as they prepared for their adventure.)
Last time:
"We are the Law's Watch Dog Unit, tasked with defending the gates," the leader declared. "Not a single person is getting through us! Surrender now, scoundrels!"
Sanji took a nice smoke. "Policemen on dogs, huh," he calmly spoke.
"We're surrounded!" Allen gasped.
"There's too many of them!" Nami and Usopp panicked in unison.
Tremors were felt, and something popped out of the alley nearby. That something was none other than one of the Franky Family's King Bulls, with Paulie, Lulu, and Tilestone on top of it.
"Grab on!" Paulie tossed his rope down at the group, in which they grabbed. "Take the reins." He then handing Sanji the reins controlling the King Bull. "If you see those guys... Tell them 'you're fired'."
"'By the way, was it okay to leave that masked guy who was with you all earlier behind?' he asked," Chopper translated Sodom's words.
At that translation, everyone looked to the back in shock and saw that they were indeed missing a member.
"... H-HUUUUUH?! Sogeking is gone!" the man-reindeer gasped.
"Why?! Why?!" Nami questioned.
"Did he fall off?" Zoro wondered.
"Hang on, did he even get on?!" Allen realized.
"Don't tell me he ran away..." Sanji guessed.
"Air Door..." A door suddenly appeared out of thin air, made of white, misty rim, and out of it came the same muscular man with the bull horn hairstyle they met before. One of the members of CP9, Blueno.
'He created a door out of thin air?' Guthrie noticed.
"It seems there are some discrepancies between the report and what actually happened," Blueno understood.
"Whoa! You just appeared out of nowhere!" Luffy exclaimed.
"An invasion like this is unprecedented," Blueno ignored Guthrie's words, continuing to speak. "This is the furthest anyone has ever reached into the mouth of the World Government. But that ends here."
"Tell me. How long do you plan on fighting?" the CP9 member then questioned them.
There was a moment's pause, as Luffy spread his legs out and placed his hands on his calves. He looked up with a smirk, and answered, "Until we die."
"A Heartless?! HERE?!" Guthrie exclaimed, seeing the monster roar.
"It's pretty big!" Luffy gasped. "Where did it come from?!"
"Seems like Xaldin couldn't wait to use it on you," Blueno realized, looking at the monster, then at the pair of boys. "He thinks I won't be able to beat the two of you. He is surely mistaken."
"There's a bunch of little doors around here, too?!" Luffy demanded, struggling to get his feet out, which was difficult with his legs spread.
Suddenly, a door shaped like Blueno's body opened up directly in front of Luffy, and he saw the man himself rise up from below.
"You're the one doing this?!" the captain demanded. "Guthrie was right. That is a Devil Fruit power!"
"Anything I touch turns into doors. Kaiten Door." Blueno swiped his hand across Luffy's face. After a second, the part of his face where his eyes were suddenly swung open, and started spinning about like a revolving door would.
"Wha-wha?! I'm not moving, but I'm spinning!" Luffy exclaimed, his vision becoming a spinning blur, causing him to become dizzy on the spot. "I don't know which way is front! Make it stop!"
"Rankya-" Blueno started, but was caught off guard as the Keyblade wielder landed directly on Luffy's head out of nowhere, pushing off of him as he directed his foot to Blueno's face.
The Door-Door user reeled back as Guthrie performed a midair backflip, readying his Keyblade. "Strike Raid!" He sent his Keyblade spinning like a buzzsaw, pressed into Blueno's gut and causing him to be pushed further and further away, until the attack stopped, and Guthrie recalled his weapon back again.
"Guthrie, help! I can't move, but the world's spinning! Get me out of this!" Luffy cried out, interrupting his counselor.
"For goodness sake..." he growled. "Get your head straight!" He slammed his Keyblade against Luffy's spinning eyes, magic sparking from the tip of it. All at once, Luffy's eyes stopped rotating.
"Ow!" Luffy exclaimed, rubbing the side of his face. He suddenly realized his face was normal, patting both sides. "Alright, My face closed. Thanks, Guthrie!"
"But I just did that out of anger," he admitted, looking at his Keyblade. "I didn't think the Keyblade was capable of stopping his-" He stopped talking, as he suddenly realized something.
'The Keyblade... Of course! It can unlock or lock any door it connects with. And since the CP9 member admitted his powers are all about doors...' He looked up at Blueno, placing his free hand on his head. 'This weapon is basically his greatest weakness!'
"Guthrie!" Luffy cried out, and Guthrie suddenly realized the ominous shadow looming over him.
The Heartless had its' weapon raised, about to slam it down at the pair. They cried out in panic as the axe fell.
Back with Xion down at the Courthouse Plaza, she had finally cleared the area of Marines and agents, but she was still having trouble with the guy with the iron ball. Worse, there turns out to be three of them, and with how unexpectedly speedy they were, they were practically making Xion waste both her strength and magic just trying to land a hit on them. The Keyblade Wielder also could not rely on her Dream Eaters to do the work of stopping those trio. Well... Not that she 'could not trust them', as it was more that, with all the fighting and summoning she had done, the vice-captain now had but a handful of Dream Eaters that can be summoned and fight with their master. She did not want them to use up their strength here, not when she will be needing them more for what is to come later. Still...
'Damn it! These guys just don't quit, do they?!' she thought, glancing around the area for her opponents. 'Damn it... I really hope the others get here, fast! I need all the help I can get to get up there.' Xion glanced up above the courthouse where her captain and counselor were. 'Speaking of 'help', I wonder how those two are doing. I know I just sent Chirithy up there, but something tells me Luffy and Guthrie are definitely up there causing that ruckus. I sure hope they're not in too much trouble.'
She once again sensed a presence behind her and jumped away from her spot, just in time to avoid that annoying steel ball once more.
"And while I'm trying to gather my thoughts, whoever these guys are really know how to get on my nerves!" she growled in pure annoyance. "Come out and fight already, you cowards!"
Rather than a verbal response of any kind, Xion sensed more presence coming her way and hastily moved about, avoiding more iron balls coming her way.
'At this rate... Should I summon out Genie and have him handle these guys instead?' she began to wonder.
Xion was practically already limited on Dream Eaters to use later, and though she may not remember Saix much, something told her she will need as much help as she can get. And given how dangerous all of those CP9 members were, from what she heard from Nami earlier on Rocketman, she couldn't expect them to be those assistance against him.
'No! If fighting Larxene has taught me anything, it's that I need all the help I can get against these people! I can't waste another summon!' she decided, avoiding more iron balls from her hidden enemies.
"There she is!"
"Starlight Blade!"
Xion looked to the source and saw, much to her ire, even more Marines and agents heading her way. "Oh, give me a break!" she sighed, now doing what she can to deflect the oncoming bullets on top of avoiding the steel balls.
Meanwhile, with the crew, just a while back, they lost Sodom to the Marines, prompting the pirates to board Gomorrah with the Franky Family. In the process, however, not long after they boarded on the other King Bull, some Executioners came and practically gave him a beating as well, one that caused him to go blind. Despite that, the King Bull continued to do his best to bring everyone to their destination: the tower where their captain and crewmates were at, fulfilling his brother's request when he got knocked down by the Executioners earlier.
Currently, the blind King Bull was charging along the path, knocking down any and all small Marines that were in his path. At the same time, however, unbeknownst to him, he was also charging straight towards a wall.
"Gomorrah! Stop! Don't run randomly! STOP!" Zambai shouted.
However, Gomorrah did not stop; he continued onwards, unaware of the dead end up ahead.
"Dead end? Do you see one?" Zoro asked Sanji.
"Nope. I don't see anything of the sort," he answered.
Their claim confused Gomorrah's other passengers, for it was clear as day that there was a wall, a building, standing in their way. What do they mean there isn't a dead end before them?
Returning to Xion, after unleashing a good Ars Arcanum at a portion of the oncoming Marines, the girl suddenly had a funny feeling climbing up her being. It was not like when her hidden opponents were constantly tossing their weapons at her; it was that of something else entirely. Something dreadfully familiar.
'Why do I have a funny feeling about this?'
Just as she mentally asked herself that, the building right across the courthouse suddenly got demolished before her eyes, much to her surprise. That surprise turned into one of relief, when she saw two familiar male figures coming out of the collapsed building, followed by a familiar King Bull. The latter then collapsed on the floor, revealing the many passengers on his back.
"It's the courthouse, Gomorrah!" Zambai shouted, as the rest of the Franky Family cheered for their achievement.
"W-We're here! Gomorrah!" Chopper cried, relieving the unconscious King Bull from its duty.
Allen looked over to the ground before them and had a joyous expression on his face upon making eye contact with a certain someone. "Xion's here, too!" he exclaimed, getting the attention of several people near him, as they looked to where he was looking.
"Xion! Hey!" Nami called.
"Xion-swan~! Your reinforcements have finally arrived~!" Sanji swooned.
The vice-captain returned their happy expressions with her own. "You guys are way too late! What the hell are you doing?!"
Despite how annoyed she sounded, her crewmates knew she was actually quite relieved to see reinforcements had finally arrived.
"You did a good job, Gomorrah! We won't waste the boost you brothers gave us!" Zambai then swore to the downed ally. "We're gonna attack, guess! We'll rescue Big Bro Franky!" At his words, he and the Franky Family all got off Gomorrah, with Nami, Allen, and Chopper following them down, the latter in his Walk Point.
"You sure had a time of your life here," Zoro stated, taking note of the number of unconscious Marines and agents lying around.
"Well, someone had to clear the area. The less of these guys we have to deal with, the better," Xion reasoned. "But enough about me. I am going to guess the answer will be 'no', but have any of you seen Luffy or Guthrie on your way here?"
"No. We thought they were with you," Allen said.
Xion grimaced at the response. "Then without a single doubt about it, up there..." She looked up at the top of the courthouse, prompting the others to be confused at the action before doing the same.
"Are they up there? Luffy and Guthrie?" Nami asked.
"There was a huge ruckus up there. If you didn't seem them on the way here, then at least Luffy has to be on the roof."
"If the rooftop is that high, we can't just climb up there," Sanji stated.
"No... It's not like we're made of rubber," Zoro pointed out.
"Not even my Milky Dials can help with this one," Allen added.
"How many CP9 members did you see? And we even caught sight of a Heartless," Nami then asked Xion.
"It was only the big horn guy we saw," the swordsman added on.
"Not sure about CP9, but as far as I know, I haven't encountered a single Heartless so far," Xion answered.
"It's hard to believe that all of them are in a place like that with Robin-chan and Franky," Sanji stated, more referring to the former group.
"In any case, we have to catch up to Luffy and Guthrie quickly!" Chopper exclaimed. "We have to hurry up and rescue Robin!"
"So you say, but..." Xion trailed off, looking to the side. "I doubt they will actually let us."
Allen, Chopper, and Nami looked at her in confusion when she said that, when the pirate group sensed a presence approaching them once more. Turning to the source, they saw an iron ball flying towards the navigator. Allen reacted fast and got between Nami and the ball with his hand raised... and easily stopped it in the air, much to the Franky Family's bafflement.
"I actually need this additional impact," he said, having absorbed the impact from the iron ball using a certain dial hidden in his glove.
"Whoa! Did you see that?!"
"Unbelievable. He looks as strong as an average man and yet... That's the iron ball that took down Gomorrah!"
"Who the hell did that?!"
Xion was the only one who know well who was responsible for the attack, and turned to the source with a glare. "Those guys again..."
Everyone else also turned to the source and could only make out three figures before the trio escaped from their sight.
"There they are! Running away! There are three of them!" one member of the Franky Family exclaimed.
"But why are they running? They're the ones who started the attack," Chopper wondered.
"You idiot! It's a waste of time chasing after each enemy who runs away!" Many eyes turned to Zoro in confusion when he said that. No one was going after any of those trio; why did he make such a claim?
Not long after, a crash was heard from where the figures once were. All heads turned back to the source and saw a massive pile of dust forming in the air. Emerging from it, to their surprise, was none other than Sanji.
"Shut up. I just went to check," he told Zoro, as what appeared to be an unconscious gladiator also emerging out of the dust cloud behind him, falling to the ground.
To say that every member of the Franky Family was baffled by the achievement would be an understatement. It was surprising enough to see that angel-winged pirate stop the iron ball single-handedly, but for this neatly-dressed pirate to take out one of the three assailants?
"There may be more hiding. Be careful," Xion advised.
Just then, the sound of footsteps reached their ears, and everyone turned to see a group of Marines heading their way.
"Now, let's hurry up. The guards are closing in on us," Zambai advised. "Come to think of it, these are huge doors. How do we get them open?" As he asked that, as he turned to the doors in question, he was quite baffled to see a part of it was cut open by none other than Zoro.
"Get a move on! I'm going on ahead!" the green-headed swordsman shouted.
Xion let out a light sigh at the sight. "Did I ever mention how glad I am to finally have you guys here?" she asked aloud.
"You just did," Allen answered, as he and the rest of the crew followed Zoro inside, leaving the Franky Family still dumbfounded out front.
"H-He cut through that thick stone!" Zambai stuttered out, when Mozu and Kiwi approached him.
"Zambai! We'll split up and go to both sides..."
"-In order to pull down the drawbridge levers!"
"O-Okay! I'm counting on you guys!" Zambai said, still baffled by Zoro's strength. "All right! We'll split into three groups! Those who come with me will thoroughly clean house inside the courthouse! I don't need many! Good luck, guys! Disperse!" With that, the group split up into three and got to their mission.
Meanwhile, up on the roofs, Chirithy suddenly appeared, right near the spot where Guthrie and Luffy were before. Only now, there was a hole large enough for both boys to easily fall into. The first thing he noticed was the serious amount of damage that was all over the place.
"What in the heck?! What did I miss here?!" he questioned. He suddenly noticed Blueno standing in front of him, then looked to see the giant Heartless nearby, its eyes gleaming down at him, causing the talking Dream Eater to scream out in panic. "Why is there a Rock Troll Heartless up here?!"
"I remember you," Blueno spoke. "You're one of the Spirits of the pirates."
Chirithy backed away, worried about not being able to fight against a CP9 agent and a large Heartless.
Up on balcony at the other white tower, Xaldin was still patiently watching the battle ensue down below. At this point, Spandam had just heard the news about the damage to Eniss Lobby, along with the casualties made by the Straw Hats, Franky Family, and Water 7 shipwrights: just a little over 2,500 casualties, with fifteen hundred of them being done by Luffy and the Keyblade wielders. And with Xion clearing the Courthouse Plaza of the enemies, the bodycount was rising from the vice captain alone.
"Blueno? What's he doing out there?" Spandam questioned, looking to see Xaldin on the balcony. "Hey, you there! What is going here?! What is that monster out there?!"
"It would seem the captain of those pirates and the Keyblade Guardian are both engaging in combat with Blueno and the Heartless I set out there," the whirlwind lancer explained. "It seems they're much more skilled than what your CP9 agents or Saix assumed."
Spandam looked to him, then at the battlefield on the other tower, wondering what the heck he meant.
Down in the battlefield, Luffy's hands just stretched out to the edges of the hole, and he hoisted himself back up onto the roof again. Guthrie held onto his back until they were up and rolled his neck, getting the cracks out of it.
"Whoo! That was too close!" Luffy sighed in relief.
"Yeah. Your Gum-Gum Balloon prevented the worst case scenario from happening," Guthrie said, also sighing in relief, as he recalled how the rubberman used the defense technique to suppress the damage taken from the blunt axe of the Heartless.
Once the two boys were set, they looked at their two opponents again.
"Mind telling me what the heck is all this?!" Chirithy demanded.
"Chirithy, what are you doing here?!" Guthrie questioned, shocked to see his partner there, before shaking his head. "You know what, forget it! Just stay out of the way!"
"WHAT?! And here I was coming up here under Xion's order to—!" His sentence was cut short when all of a sudden, the trio ended up scattering from rocks being sent flying by the Rock Troll and his pivoting axe on the ground. Even Blueno had to used Moon Walk to evade the attack.
"Luffy, I have an idea!" the Keyblade wielder called out. "If you can distract the Heartless for a bit, then I can make sure the bull doesn't get in our hair for a while!"
"What are you talking about?" Luffy questioned.
"Trust me! Just give that Heartless a reason to fight you!" Guthrie flipped in midair and came down at Blueno.
"Tekkai!" the enemy shouted, enduring an overhead Keyblade slam with his arm. The attack caused a shockwave about the area, and for Blueno to grimace a bit from what he had to endure.
At the same time, Luffy went and stretched an arm out to the axe of the Rock Troll, grabbing it by the top. "Gomu Gomu no Rocket!" he roared, launching himself right into the head of the Heartless, knocking it into a sitting position. "Gomu Gomu no Gatling!" Luffy followed up his attack with his barrage of punches, keeping it pinned to the ground to prevent it from getting back up. The result of this damage caused the ground beneath the Heartless to cave in, causing it to fall to the floor below. However, due to its size, its shoulders and head were still sticking out.
Back between Guthrie vs. Blueno, the CP9 agent unleashed a Soru and Shigan combo, which Guthrie evaded, and unleashed a Spark Blast as a counterattack. The electrocution of the attack was something Blueno's Tekkai could not endure, and he got struck pretty hard.
"Geppo!" Blueno shot himself into the air, trying to confuse Guthrie before making his next move.
The Keyblade wielder turned and saw where he was for a split second, focusing on him as his feet glowed. Chirithy looked at what was happening in amazement as he suddenly came shooting up to where Blueno was in an instant, getting right above his head. He looked shocked as Guthrie suddenly fell behind him, and strangled his neck with his Keyblade. He forced Blueno down with him, spinning about, and kicking him into the back, causing him to hurl into the ground painfully, making him bounce off from impact.
"Tornado X!" Guthrie roared, causing a powerful cyclone to envelop his opponent, causing him damage as he hung in midair. "And now Savage Knives!" The guy then thrusted his Keyblade to where Blueno was at, creating several large versions of Larxene's daggers to be sent flying at Blueno, striking him and slashing at him several times. He prepared his eleventh dagger, large than the others, ready to be sent flying.
"Air Door!" Blueno panicked and created a door in midair, prepared to open it and evade the Tornado X and the final dagger hitting him. However, this was exactly what Guthrie was aiming for.
'I hope this works!' he prayed, readying his Keyblade, aiming at the Air Door.
A Keyhole suddenly appeared on the said door, causing Blueno- who entered in his own dimension- to turn and be startled at the sight. The Keyblade wielder unleashed a beam from his weapon and struck the Keyhole. It shined briefly as the Air Door disappeared in a glittering, magical sparks.
'What the hell did he do?!' Blueno mentally questioned, having a horrible feeling of that beam just now. He swung his arm out like he usually does to use his powers, attempting to create another Air Door to exit out his dimension... only for his powers to not activate. The doorman was startled as he tried as hard as he might to create a new Air Door, but with no results. 'Why can't I use my powers?! I can't produce another Air Door!'
Blueno just could not understand what had happened. All he did know, however, was that Guthrie must have done something to disrupt his ability.
"Well, what do you know. It worked!" Guthrie cheered, looking at his Keyblade with excitement.
In the white tower, Xaldin understood what just happened. 'Interesting... The Keyblade wielder used his Keyblade to lock Blueno away in his own Air Door dimension, preventing him from escaping it. It would seem the Keyblade's power became his Devil Fruit's greatest weakness. He is sharper than I thought.'
"Now that he's out of the way, we can handle the Heartless with no problems!" Guthrie declared, racing to Luffy as he kept pummeling the Rock Troll with several attacks, preventing it from getting out from the floor below.
The Heartless then turned and unleashed an underhand slash with his axe that sent rubble flying upwards, destroying more of the rooftop flooring and causing Luffy to get sent flying from it. Guthrie also got struck a bit by the flying rubble, causing him to get hurt.
The two boys recovered, with Guthrie using his Cura to heal them both, as the Rock Troll got back up onto the rooftop.
"Damn it! This thing is strong!" Luffy grimaced. "Just get defeated, already!"
"Yeah. I gotta get to Robin, and you're in the way of me reaching her!" Guthrie roared, his body glowing. "Style Command: Fever Pitch!" He bursted with a glowing aura and charged at the Heartless, unleashing a flurry of slashes at it.
It tried to slash Guthrie with its axe once more, when he used his Keyblade to strike the swung weapon and performed a midair spin that allowed him to just miss the Heartless's weapon as it passed under him.
"Aeroga!" Guthrie unleashed another blast of wind, striking it with enough force to make it fumble and nearly topple back into the hole again. "Luffy, you ready?!" he then shouted, turning to see Luffy had inflated and wound his body.
"Get out of the way!" Luffy roared, blasting the inflated air he gathered, spinning as he flew at the Rock Troll. "Gomu Gomu no Storm!"
His storm of fists were so powerful and strong, they carried the Heartless up into the air, causing it to drop its axe, and be helpless against Luffy's attack. The final barrage of punches was enough to crack its body, followed by it roar as it disappeared into darkness, defeated. A large heart floated into the air, and vanished from sight.
Luffy and Guthrie, who was still in Fever Pitch form, gathered together, looking at the damage they did. Guthrie's shoulder guard gathered the dark energy of the Heartless, seeping into his gem, until it was fully gathered. It shined, but a medal didn't pop out.
"Why isn't there a medal coming out of it?" he wondered.
"It could be waiting until all of your battles are done," Chirithy answered, racing towards him. "At least, that's how I think of it."
"Oh yeah..." Luffy realized. "What did you do to that bull guy?"
"He's locked away where he wouldn't bother us with our fight against the Heartless," Guthrie answered. "Now that one fight's done, we can move on." He waved his Keyblade towards the spot where he sealed up the Air Door, and a Keyhole opened up again. He once again shot a beam at it, and the Air Door was unlocked. It swung open, and the boys and Spirit saw Blueno standing there, glaring at them.
"I don't know how you locked me in my own dimension, but why did you unlock my Air Door?" he questioned, stepping out of said dimension and closing the door behind him.
"Because that would be a poor way to end our fight," Guthrie answered. "Having both you and the Heartless around was a problem. But now that we took care of one enemy, we can take care of the other."
"I'm impressed you were able to defeat such a beast," Blueno commended them. "But even so, you must realize that I am still far stronger than that thing. Defeating me will not be that easy."
"You're right. It's not good enough," Luffy agreed, getting a look from both allies and enemies. "I can't stay like this, it won't work. When I lost to Aokiji, I realized something. I said to myself, 'You keep running into guys that are stronger and stronger. And unless you get stronger, too, you won't be able to protect your friends.' And I want to protect them. They're not all strong like me, except for Xion. But even so, they are my friends, and I wanna keep them. That's why I gotta get stronger than anyone else, or else there's a chance I might lose 'em."
"Then what are you gonna do?" Blueno questioned him.
"I found a new way to fight with all my might, so that I won't lose anyone. So I won't let anyone slip away from me!" Luffy answered, bending down and placing his hands on his knees. Guthrie and Chirithy both watched as Luffy's legs suddenly pumped internally, like a spring being compressed and released. When this happened, his body suddenly reddened a bit, and started to steam a bit. Something was happening inside his body. He did the same pumping action with his legs again, readying himself.
"He couldn't be..." Guthrie realized, knowing enough about Luffy's powers and anatomy to figure out what he was doing.
"That did it..." Luffy muttered, glaring up at Blueno. "You won't be able to stop me now."
"What?" He asked, wondering if he was serious.
"All my strength and techniques just went up one step," Luffy growled, placing his fist to the ground. "Gear Second!"
"What is going on with him?" Chirithy questioned, backing away from the two. "I can feel both Guthrie and Straw Hat get stronger. I know it's due to Guthrie's Style Command, but what about Luffy? Gear Second?"
Blueno simply narrowed his eyes at Luffy. "Your techniques have changed? Are you suppose to be a steam engine, cause you're blowing a lot of hot air."
"Trust me, you shouldn't underestimate our captain. If I'm correct, he's more of a threat to you than ever. And I bet it's thanks to you that he figured out this technique," Guthrie warned him, much to his confusion. "For that matter, you shouldn't underestimate me!" His feat sparked with magic as he made a dash, and got in close to Blueno in a split second, unleashing a flurry of slashes. Blueno used Tekkai to endure the attack. However, he pushed off of him as he made a backflip, giving Luffy an opening as he was preparing to unleash a long-ranged punch. "Gomu Gomu no..." Luffy started to say.
"Soru!" Blueno suddenly moved at high speeds, attempting to stop the Straw Hat captain from hitting him.
"...Jet Pistol!" Luffy unleashed a blinding fast punch that was too fast too avoid, and powerful enough to send Blueno crashing into the terrace.
He cleared the dust-cloud, and saw Luffy had vanished from sight. He barely had time to look, and was hit on the side of the face thanks to another lightning-fast punch. Luffy then recalled his arm and dashed forward as Guthrie appeared from behind Blueno, stabbing him in the back to stop him from tumbling, before making his feet spark with magic as he shot to the top of the flagpole near him, giving Luffy the opportunity to strike the CP9 agent with a Jet Rifle.
Blueno was overwhelmed. He tried to get back up to see where Luffy went, but he vanished where he stood, leaving behind a ring of steam from his body. 'I can't see him at all!' he thought, before getting punched to the side by Luffy reappearing right next to him. He flipped to his feet, only to get struck several times with Guthrie's Savage Knives.
The Keyblade wielder was joined by his captain as he unleashed a Jet Stamp onto Blueno's back, making him gag, before Luffy grabbed him by his bull horn-styled hair. "Missile!" With Guthrie's spark-coated feet, both he and Luffy shot at Blueno with intense power, causing a crater to form on the stone flooring.
Both boys backed off as Blueno struggled to raise himself again, and ended up with a face-full of Fever Pitch slashes from Guthrie, before blasted to the side by Luffy's quick punch, causing him to skid to one side, looking up with shocked eyes at Guthrie, not being able to see Luffy while he was moving so fast.
'This is impossible, but it has to be...' Blueno realized. 'They're using the Shave and Moon Walk techniques. But only CP9 have access to those techniques, and they're using it so easily!'
'They are completely overwhelming him!' Chirithy noticed in amazement. 'I don't know about how Luffy got like that, but I know that technique Guthrie is using. Those sparks on his feet before he moves... Those are the signs he's using Airstep! But how could he have learned it in such a short period of time?!'
"Air Door!" Blueno created a door out of thin air, and was about to go in it.
"No you don't! Spark Blast!" Guthrie roared, unleashing his electrifying skill, shooting the ring of electricity at the door to push Blueno away, before using his Keyblade's power to seal up the Air Door. "You can't use that move on us anymore!"
Blueno glared at Guthrie, completely helpless against him or Luffy now, the latter who suddenly appeared behind him and punched him hard in the back, making him collapse. The pirate captain vanished, reappearing next to Guthrie as the two stood there, watching Blueno get back up onto his feet again.
"When we fought before, and it looked like you were disappearing, you were really moving your feet ten or twenty times a second," Luffy explained, grinning at the agent. "I got the hang of that, too. But I wouldn't have figured that out on my own."
"Same here. When you guys looked like you were flying, you were really gathering the air at your feet, and using it as a foothold to push off of it." Guthrie further analyzed, "I couldn't do that with air, but I could do it with the magic in my body, and focusing it at my feet. Course, I also required a focus as to where to go, but all the same, we're both glad you guys were around to teach us those moves. Now, we'll be able to save Robin, and protect her and our friends from now on!"
Blueno glared at the two as Guthrie readied to make a move, focusing on Blueno, as he charged up his Fever Pitch power to his Keyblade. "Gomu Gomu no..." Luffy pulled his arms behind him, stretching them as far as he could to perform a Bazooka move.
'I can take it!' Blueno told himself. 'I'll use my strongest defense!'
"Tekkai: Go!"
"Time to finish!" Guthrie used Airstepping to dash in at Blueno, leaving his western hat behind in the air, and unleash a series of slashes, ending with one that sent five slash marks of light on the ground in a fan form, striking Blueno with three of them, causing blood to spill from his chest.
"... Jet Bazooka!" Luffy followed up by ducking underneath Guthrie while he went up into the air, and slammed Blueno with both palms as strongly as he could. The attack sent Blueno skidding backwards, before he coughed up more blood, unable to handle both attacks at once, and felt face-first into the ground.
Guthrie's aura went back to normal, as Luffy's body stopped steaming and went back to its normal color. Both were panting heavily from the energy they used.
"I think... we might've over-exerted ourselves..." the Keyblade wielder panted.
"Same here," Luffy agreed. "My body can't keep that move up for long."
"Yeah, about that..." Chirithy spoke up, getting the boy's attention as he walked over to them. "How did you even do that? You were moving so darn fast!"
"You were pumping your blood, right?" Guthrie understood, walking back to grab his hat. "It's like steroids; you're making your blood move faster inside your body. Normal hearts would explode from that kind of blood pressure, but your organs are rubber, so they are able to handle it." He grabbed his hat, brushing off the dirt as he turned back to Luffy. "But that is still a strain on your body, nevertheless. It will definitely cause harm to it, unless you strengthen your internal organs. Try not to depend on it so much, okay?"
"Eh, I don't care about my body," Luffy brushed off Guthrie's warning, looking to the tower ahead of them. "We need to move ahead."
"Yeah, but first..." Chirithy started, looking to Blueno, whose body started to seep out darkness. It went into Guthrie's gem on his shoulder guard, which still held the darkness from the Rock Troll.
As the gem shined even brighter than before, Guthrie felt his heart beat loudly one, causing him to grasp his chest. It was as if his heart was resonating with his gem. "What's..." Guthrie started.
"What's wrong?" Luffy asked, seeing his body slightly hidden by the light of the gem, which shined so much brighter than before. When all the darkness was taken in, the light stopped, and out popped a pink-gold medal, which glittered from the sunlight above. Guthrie snatched it, and looked at the medal. He was startled to see none other than Robin on it, her eyes closed, and her arms crossed, like how she was whenever she used her Devil Fruit powers.
"What is this?" Guthrie questioned. "Why is Robin on this medal?"
"Let me see that!" Chirithy barked, hopping onto Guthrie's shoulder and examining the medal. "Yep, there's no doubting it... That's a Heart Medal. They're basically the strongest medals out there, as they channel people you have a strong connection with and the powers they wield into this medal, and allow you to perform techniques similar to what they can use. It's different to the Savage Knives technique, as its power is derived from the power of the Organization, not your heart. In this case, it looks like you can use the power of Robin into an extremely useful move."
As Guthrie looked amazed at seeing the power he gained, Chirithy looked between the medal and his master. First this new surge of strength after learning the truth about Robin's betrayal, then the Airstep technique, and finally a Heart Medal from Nico Robin. It seemed like Guthrie's care for the woman was strong enough for him to perform miracle after miracle. Was it because of his determination to save and protect her? For the first time on his own, and without anyone else's words of influence, Chirithy was wondering if he should allow his master to follow his heart to protect Robin more than Xion.
Guthrie placed in the new medal, and realized it did not need to replace any of the other medals. He was finally able to use the max level of eight techniques with his Keyblade. It was then he realized something, and looked about. "Wait a minute! Where's that Spirit who guided us here?" he asked, noticing it vanished around the time they started their fight with Blueno.
"Oh, yeah. That plant monster," Luffy realized, also looking about.
"Spirit? Plant monster?" Chirithy echoed, confused.
"Yeah. A Dream Eater Spirit suddenly appeared and guided us with a shortcut all the way here," Guthrie explained, noticing that it was nowhere in sight. "Did it vanish?"
"Well, I know we'll bump into it later," Luffy stated. "Let's focus on getting to Robin." Guthrie looked to his captain and gave a serious expression as he nodded in agreement. Right now, Robin was their top priority. They just hoped the others arrived on time to join them.
