Dipper groaned as he scribbled through his notes and put them through a shredder.

Dipper had been so focused on dealing with Preston, before getting stressed over Daisy, which caused him to stress over how he was going to handle the rest of the summer.

Until he realized that he was stressing over nothing, seeing as he already handled everything.

Mabel didn't need to learn her lesson about business, they were not going to be anywhere near the bottomless pit anytime soon, and Dipper had already dealt with Mermando, so Mabel didn't have to deal with losing that summer romance.

He didn't want to deal with her being heartbroken over her long-distance relationship being ruined because he had to marry the princess of the manatees in a political marriage.

That stupid carpet was tossed into his own storage space. He was making plans to have Ford suffer with it, for making the damn thing. He always found it fun to swap the man with random things to mess with him.

Waddles was properly protected from the pterodactyl, so that wouldn't come to pass, and he could handle a couple overgrown chickens. Dino meat was a rather nice delicacy to be honest.

The whole Gideon issue was under control, what with him still making small trips to have a play date with Mabel. Yeah, Mabel was still friends with the shorty. They did some things every now and then, but they hadn't had any dates since he threatened him.

Gideon has even spent a sleep over with the girls a time or two. Actually having fun just being a friend to Mabel. He was happy, but still shivered as he shed a single tear when he caught Dipper watching him, usually surrounded in shadow as he peeked through the door, a serious look on his face.

Gideon and Mabel's friends all compared the look to the evil stepmother from the original Cinderella. Mabel just chuckled nervously over the statement. Gideon hadn't mentioned what Dipper did to get him to straighten himself out, but the girls could all see the effects it had on the boy.

He was the cause of the zombie invasion, and the trip into the bunker, which was prevented by him not going to the agents, as well as already asserting dominance over the shapeshifter. The poor thing was a whipped mutt at this point, practically begging him not to hurt him whenever he went down there.

Pacifica and Mabel had their own yard that was big enough for their own personal minigolf court to use if they really wanted to play, so that avoided those pathetic lillyputians. Though he could go and teach the little shits a lesson for attempting to murder his girl.

Dipper also already knew the password to the laptop, so he wouldn't take Mabel to the library to see Gabe, who she did not need to stress herself out over getting the attention of. While the society of the blind eye was easy for someone as powerful as he.

Just had to walk in, bitch slap Ivan, and take the memory gun and zap each of the idiots doing the shit. Problem solving, it's easy when you know the answers. And Blendin would be allowed to be, since he and Mabel never messed with his time machine, so he wouldn't come after them for any reason.

The woodstick festival was still going to happen, but since he has been distracting the gang with his own actions, Mabel wouldn't be trying to cheer Robbie up, which would mean she wouldn't be interfering with their love lives, because Robbie has yet to be rejected by Wendy.

Unseen consequence time, he might have already interfered there, because when Robbie tried to ask Wendy out at the fair, she rejected him as she was dealing with some of her own thoughts on things.

Robbie didn't wind up depressed over it, considering Wendy and Tambry had appeared to be getting closer over the summer, and after the whole gender swap thing, they appeared even closer.

Robbie had been thinking about the implications there, and he could honestly say, he couldn't stop blushing over the thoughts, but he was indeed forced to talk with Nate about what he had thought that night.

Nate took it as well as you could expect, better even as he had grown beet red over bringing up the gender swap thing. Before Lee stepped out of the bathroom as a girl.

Robbie left soon after, ignoring the two's excuses.

That was an interesting hang out the next day at Thompson's garage. Dipper just shrugged before giving each couple their set of potions. A swap and antidote for each of them. "If Robbie is already confronting you guys and exposing you all, might as well toss discretion out the window."

The ghost haunting was dealt with when Pacifica had been the one to open the gates for the Halloween party. Killing Preston actually lifted that curse. And Stan just had to complete the portal and turn it on, it was just a waiting game with that.

Mabel could get the full story from them when she was introduced to Ford. And everything after is rather easy to avoid. Don't let Stan roll Ford's dice, and he can avoid the fallout of that. He could help Stan become mayor, and he has done that, just to see how he would do.

Or he could run himself.

Writing that off as a possible idea. But he could protect everyone just fine without unicorn hair, and he could just buy the roadside attractions that Stan was in competition against, while Mabel had a bright and happy future with how much he has changed their present.

So there was no issues with how their birthday at the end of summer was going to go. And if Mabel had her way, she would keep her two Piedmont friends here for the rest of their education, allowing her to keep them all.

Dipper could afford to raise them all.

Dipper didn't really like it when Mabel put it that way, but she was technically correct, the best kind of correct if you asked her and Stan.

Dipper sighed as he was met with a frowning Stan at his door. Dipper just nodded as several butlers came out and grabbed his luggage. Credit where due, these guys were getting used to getting orders in advance. It even helped them out by letting them plan out their days better.

But back to the sad grunkle. Stan had apparently finished with the machine to save Ford, and as usual, without any reason to let him stay, even for the summer, seeing as he and Mabel had moved into the mansion, Ford pushed for Stan to return his identity sooner.

Dipper would not teach the man the lessons he needed to learn for him to forgive Stan and allow them both to find happiness. As sappy as that sounded, Ford refused to believe that Stan learned his lesson over the accident all those years ago and continued to hold that grudge.

Stan however, did learn his lesson. He learned it several times over, before learning to hide his emotions in a way that he didn't really express them properly. He has become a grizzled old man that actually felt the pain from showing kindness, because of the life he lived.

Stan could wrestle with the strongest, and even look a gun barrel head on without flinching. But showing gratitude caused phantom pains. Each and every bruise and injury that showing gratitude caused him.

Stan was a man that had his kindness beaten out of him. Ford was a man who learned things to the point that he didn't understand them. Ford would be the harder to help, because the man just wouldn't admit to needing help with learning anything.

There is a reason why he barely comes to learn from Ford. The man never wanted to believe he knew things, always wanting to teach him from scratch. Constantly pointing out everything, instead of believing him when he said he knew that.

Stan was a much better teacher, testing him to see where he was, as he taught him new stuff. Ford was someone who wanted to claim that he taught you everything, claiming that going over the basics and solidifying them in his brain was important.

The man wasn't wrong to a point, but if all you do is start from scratch every single timeline, there was no point in trying to learn from the man more than once.

Ford needed to realize that Stan had learned his lesson, but he refused to listen when Stan tried to talk with him, and merely blamed him for destroying his future. Ford never thought about how he had destroyed Stan's.

Stan and Ford had almost the same issue as Dipper and Mabel that first time through. But it wasn't one for one. Mabel hadn't destroyed his chances for a bright future, but had her heart ripped out when she found that he was going to accept a future away from her without thinking about how it would affect her.

Ford and Stan were best friends as well, and when he was offered a bright future, he stabbed his best friend in the back and became what Stan had protected him from.

A bully.

Ford and Stan may have started out with unrealistic dreams, but those dreams, as they had, changed to more realistic ones, but Ford had chosen to abandon ship the moment he was told he was special, and Stan wasn't.

Ford wasn't as special as everyone made him out to be either. A perpetual motion machine was as easy to build as duplex bricks with a blueprint. Dipper had that cracked countless lifetimes ago. Stan made a mistake, and it wasn't even much of one, considering Ford should have made the machine slightly sturdier. Dipper once used time travel to see how things went down, and he could tell that Ford was not as impressive as he claimed.

After looking over the machine, he realized that Ford didn't weld some wires enough to prevent the failure, and because he hadn't, Stan slamming the table had knocked the wire loose and damaged the device in a way that slowly stopped the machine.

If Ford had actually checked the machine while the inspector was there, he could have explained that there was a faulty wire from the school, shifting the blame from both twins. He could have fixed the machine up and offered for the representative to take the machine to prove he wasn't lying.

In a short week, he would have been able to prove himself to the school, and if he put in a good word, even got Stan a job there as some extra muscle.

Stan would have been happy to work as an extra pair of hands for moving equipment, schools like that were always in need of extra muscle. Seeing as most of the guys that went there were all rather wimpy, and nerdy.

Stan could also have ditched Ford before he ditched him and gotten better treatment through school.

Stan and Ford didn't realize this, but Stan was athletic. He could have ditched his brother, tried out for a sport, and he could have made it through on a sports scholarship. But that would have meant leaving Ford to deal with the bullies alone.

Where would your stupid machine be than?

And now, Dipper had to plan for this fallout, seeing as Ford just advertised to people that he was back. In their original timeline, people were under the impression that Ford decided to go on a boating trip after this summer, blaming the twin thing on double vision.

It would have been three years before someone hunted them down over Stan's past. But because Stan was just forced to leave the shack, and Ford had reclaimed his identity, revealing Stan having faked his own death, certain people were going to hear of this, and before the summer was up.

Dipper was going to have to enter the underbelly of the crime world as a boogeyman and show them something to truly fear. Stan understood what was going to happen, and he does have plans to leave soon, as soon as he can get himself gathered up that is. Stan didn't want to drag his family into his problems, but he was also overestimating how long he had until his debt collectors found him.

Dipper tilted his head back and forth, wondering which fool was going to get here first, seeing as he was actually entering unknown territory. He was going to have to rely on his algorithm sight for a bit.

He was finally seeing new things after so long. Dipper couldn't help but smile and smile wide.

Seeing as he was freaking everyone out, he should probably stop.

=-=-=-=-=-=-=Later in the days=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Stan was starting to panic slightly as he was doing his best to gather up some supplies and what money he had from the shack. Ford had a bit of money from not only his cross dimensional voyage, but from a safe he had hidden away in both the bunker under the house, that he somehow hadn't found, as well as another in the bunker in the woods, where journal 3 was.

Stan was leaving, walking to the door at about four in the morning, hoping to get out before anyone dangerous found out he had faked his death. And as he opened the door, he was greeted by a very frightening sight.

Ford, held at gun point with fat Tony leading the group. "So, my reports were indeed correct."

Stan stared in shock at how fast this was going. He should have had another day or so before this happened. And by then, he would have been able to cause trouble elsewhere before they could confront Ford. And they would have chased him down.

Being hunted like a wild animal was all he was good for anyways.

There was suddenly one of the butlers behind Stan that spoke up. "The master is within the greeting lounge, waiting for you Mr. Tony Sarfregah."

And suddenly, everyone was confused. Tony now believed Stan had warned the owner of the mansion, having come here to possibly beg for money. Oh well, it would be rude to leave when he was expected.

Stan and Ford were not given a chance to respond as Tony's boys forced them at gun point to follow the butler.

Tony, upon entering, was greeted to the sight of a child standing at the fireplace, swirling what looked like wine, but someone as high class as himself, could tell was just sparkling juice. Couldn't fool a man who drank the stuff on the regular.

"Hello Tony, nice to meet you. Please, have a seat."

Tony did indeed decide to sit, there was a rather comfy and expensive looking chair that he just melted in. though he was caught off guard as a rather pretty, and young maid, walked over and handed him a proper glass of wine.

The fact that she handed it to him right as he sat down, raised the man's suspicions, though when he took the drink with the opposite hand, before making an attempt to grab at the girl, she was quick to spin away from his hand, getting away without him touching her.

Dipper smirked, having told the girl how to move in order to avoid the man's grasp. Tony sneered at her. "You have very skilled help, but I do believe I was told there would be the master of the house here waiting for me. Not a boy."

Dipper chuckled. "I am the master of the house; I own all of this. And as my butler said, I was expecting you." Letting the maid take his nearly empty glass, Dipper walked over and sat in the lazy boy across from the man.

Tony looked baffled as he glared. "Well, may I ask about you then? I do believe you have me at a disadvantage here."

Dipper smiled. "My name is Mason Pines, my friends refer to me as Dipper, the ladies refer to me as 'The' Big Dipper."

Tony smiled and chuckled over the intro. The boy knew how to make this meeting interesting, that is for sure. Something that Dipper hadn't seen coming however, was what happened next.

You see, last night, Mabel had another sleep over, which meant that all the girls were upstairs and supposed to be asleep, which is why Dipper could be excused when he needed to use all his strength to not scream in frustration when there was a door opening.

The three girls dressed in some of Pacifica's high-class dresses walking over, Candy and Daisy following Pacifica's lead and leaning into his chair and hanging off him was not planned at all.

It did make things look like a power play towards Tony however, seeing as he just had one of the maids avoid him like he was poisonous.

Dipper was sitting in the chair, leaning off to his right, Pacifica practically sitting on his left leg, wearing a pink dress that wouldn't look out of place in a mobster movie, a pink shawl over her shoulders. Daisy was sitting towards the back of the arm he leaned towards, a dress similar to Pacifica's but in silver, a shawl over her shoulders, her hair having been done in a ponytail, hanging over her right shoulder, she was running her hands down Dipper's chest as she held him to her. Candy was in a red dress, with the shawl, as she sat next to his legs, laying her head on his right knee, hugging his calf.

Obviously, Pacifica had convinced the girls to follow her lead and make a power play against the man, recognizing that the man was going to try to intimidate him. Dipper couldn't do a bigger power play than if he had been lighting a golden cigar with a stack of hundred-dollar bills.

Dipper wanted to be frustrated, he wanted to yell at them for doing this, but if he tried, he would burst out laughing over the face Tony was making. The man was turning purple at this point. Dipper could hear Mabel, Sara, Grenda and Gideon all watching at the door. He could imagine how the others were also wearing dresses, and even though he knew Gideon wasn't, he could also see the boy wearing one as well.

Dipper wanted to come off as threatening, and powerful. Well, guess he got his wish.

Tony chuckled as he found his voice. "Well, at least this gives credit to your introduction. But I still need to hear why you wanted to see me."

Dipper chuckled, knowing this little surprise was supposed to be the girls teasing him, but they had wanted to distract the old man while Mabel and Grenda got into position to save their grunkles.

"Well, I just wanted to talk about my grunkle Stan's debt he owes you. I was hoping that with me helping him out with it, you would just let all this blow over and be on your way without anyone being hurt."

Tony chuckled. "Well, I would have, if this had been thirty years ago, but I can't just let something like this go you see. He has insulted my Familia. He must be punished."

Dipper chuckled back. Raising his hand as he prepared to snap his fingers. "Maybe we should all calm down and put the weapons away." With a snap, the weapons turned to dust as each of the goons fell backwards into a couch to Tony's left, while his grunkles fell onto a couch to his right.

Tony looked shocked as he shifted his attention between the men that were suddenly in different positions. "How did you do that?"

Dipper nearly laughed, Daisy, using the five second lesson she got from Pacifica, hid her face in his hair, so they didn't see her reaction, with his left around Pacifica's waist, and his right snapping, Candy was forced to put her face in Dipper's thigh. Credit to them though, they made it look like they were just nuzzling him for attention.

Pacifica took the cake however, as she had a poker face that couldn't be beat. That smile was just as unsettlingly as knowing as his own.

Dipper guesses he has to reward these three…

Dipper paused that thought. Was he really just about to think that? Keeping his thoughts off his face was almost a challenge as he gave Tony a answer. "Through altering the very fabrication of the algorithm that dictates all that exists."

Mabel, who was still holding her grappling gun as she hid in the rafters, remembers that response from when she once asked him how to do magic. Well, he was either giving them shit, or he answered her honestly.

Tony frowned at the boy. "I don't believe in that mumbo jumbo bullshit. Those stories are made up bullshit that are invented by this loon here, to sell his crap to the retarded masses out there." Tony gestured to both Ford and Stan before directing his hand towards the window. Returning his glare to the boy, Tony told Dipper exactly what he thought of what just happened.

"This mirror and smoke shit is not going to save you from handing me my money, as well as both of these two conmen, and maybe, just maybe if I'm in a good enough mood, your little arm candies there can avoid meeting some friends of mine after I put a bullet in your head."

Tony obviously didn't believe nor like magic being thrown in his face. But the problem was different.

Tony was a mob boss from down in New Orleans, Stan had tried to work with him, before he tricked Stan into being drowned in debt. But Dipper only smiled as Tony snapped his fingers, as his three guys pulled out guns and aimed at Dipper.

Dipper wished that people would quite bursting into his meetings, because the doors burst opened once more as the seven adults burst in, demanding what was going on. Dipper grew more frustrated by the second as Tony shouted about interruptions.

"You are absolutely right Tony, these interruptions are getting on my nerves as well. You seven will sit down, while you three gents will put your weapons away, before I do something you will regret."

The tone in his voice had the three hanging on him tighten their hold in slight fear, the seven parents had thought they could argue with him, and the middle thug, decided to make an example of one of the parents.

Dipper groaned as he snapped his fingers.

This time, the girls failed to hide their faces, though they could be forgiven seeing as the parents, Tony, and the other two thugs were all paying more attention to the fact that the middle thug's hand was beginning to unravel like ribbons.

The gun started it, unraveling as if it was just let go, followed by the man's fingers, slowly going up his arm, the man was screaming in pain and shock the entire time, as the ribbons, differentiable between clothing and skin. The man was finally able to get his screams under control as the ribbons reached right below his shoulder.

Jack, the thug right next to the man, who Dipper knew to be Thomas, the third was named Joe if people were wondering, but Jack had bent down and tried to help his fellow stand, but the idiot was stupid enough to step on one of the ribbons, causing the man to scream in agony.

Well, Tony was officially a believer, as he stared between his man and Dipper, his eyes wide and full of fear. "What the fuck did you do to him?"

Dipper sighed. "Well, as I said before, I used the universal algorithm to alter his form in a painful way to set an example of him. Now, he, as well as you, have brought my family into this little argument. Well, tell me, how is Carol doing?"

That question made Tony pale, as he started shaking his head. Dipper continued to speak, knowing that Gideon, who was watching from outside the door, was now able to see what Dipper could have done in that restaurant. "Or how about little Johnny, he said his first words recently, didn't he? Choo, Choo I believe, he was watching one of those learning cartoons, and he just absolutely loved the green one. Or how about Casandra, heard she got an A on her spelling bee."

Tony was now sitting, tears showing in his left eye. Even he didn't know what Casandra had gotten on that test yet. He was also just called earlier that morning by his wife and told about Johnny's first word and love for the green train, that he now lovingly called Choo, Choo. "What do you want?"

Dipper smiled. "Now that is a proper response when facing someone like me. I am willing to make a deal, leave my family alone, and I will leave yours alone. You can also tell Jerry, Clive and Wilton the exact same thing. If you all want to try pulling shit with me, I will do what I must to handle you."

With a snap of his fingers, the ribbons began to mend, it wasn't as painful as when they were ripped apart, but it was ten times as gross, seeing as the white ribbons re-raveled into the bone, before the red ones did the same for his muscles and the whole thing was wrapped up with the tan skin ribbons, each feeling like the man was having someone wrap him up in bandages.

Painful yes, but bearable. Dipper raised his hand once more, causing the man to cower away from him, tears still fresh from the pain before. "A parting gift, something to remember me by." This snap was followed by a head appearing on the table, that looked exactly like Thomas', screaming in pain constantly.

The thugs each flinched as Thomas flopped onto his back to crawl away from it. "Not interested?" Another snap and the head screamed more as it was burnt to a crisp from the inside out, before collapsing in on itself into ash.

Dipper stood, Pacifica falling into his spot as he stepped forward. "Well then, at least let me see you out. It is only proper after all." Dipper followed the men as they did their best not to run like cowards. They all felt the boy's eyes on them, feeling as if they had guns pressed into their backs.

All four were glad, giving sighs of relief as they were let out the front door, the same butler that greeted them, standing there and opening the door for them.

As they made it to the car, Tony turned to the door of the mansion, the sun barely shinning light through the doorway, casting the boy he had just met in shadow. The clearest features he could make out, were the dull eyes, and a smile too big for a face that small.

As Tony got into the car, he was given a call, it was his wife. Answering, he was greeted with her happily telling him how their daughter got an A on her spelling bee. Tony had to take a deep breath, before joining in with his wife being happy, as he looked back to see a closed door.

His men were sitting across from him, Thomas was still crying as he held his arm, obvious phantom pain, or real pain to remind him of this event, he couldn't tell. Tony said goodbye to his wife as he made a couple calls.

=-=-=-=-=-=Back inside=-=-=-=-=

Dipper returned to the greeting room.

Gideon, Sara, and Grenda had all came in while Mabel got out of hiding. Each were sitting on the couches, the parents obviously hugging their girls. Pacifica and Priscilla had taken his lazy boy, his parents were hugging Mabel close as they sat with the grunkles, opposite of them on the other couch, were Daisy and Sara, each being hugged by their parents.

Gideon was at the fireplace, staring into the flame and contemplating, while Grenda and Candy sat in the other chair.

Dipper's entrance had drawn all their attention, his parents looked to be freaked out, Alex stood up, leaving Mabel in Dana's arms, Ford following.

Alex didn't know how to react to what he just witnessed, staring down into Dipper's eyes, he noticed a distinct lack of the fear or worry that was in all their eyes.

While Alex faltered, Ford had not. Stepping forth and pulled Dipper closer as he forcefully checked his eyes as he started asking his questions. "What was that, are you possessed by Bill, how on earth were you truly able to do such things? Who are you truly?"

Ford barely had time to get them all out, before he was grabbed and tossed off the boy by Stan. "Shove it Poindexter, you can't just assault the boy like that and demand answers without even giving him a chance to explain himself."

Dipper smiled at Stan, seeing exactly why he was his favorite grunkle of the two. "Thank you grunkle Stan, and as I told our friend that just left, I have reached a level of intelligence that allows me to alter the very algorithm that dictates the existence of everything within our universe."

Ford scoffed. "That is impossible, there is no such thing." Everyone stared at the man, Stan was the one that called him out. "Alright genius, what is your theory?"

Ford huffed as he laid his theory out. "I suspect he is possessed by a dream demon that I have faced before, the same one that I have been traveling through the very multiverse to create a weapon to destroy. Just allow me to retrieve a machine I have, and I can free him from the demon's hold."

Dipper scoffed. "Bill is nothing when compared to myself, he is only able to alter the dreamscape. Which if he had been allowed to enter our world, he could have opened the hole to allow said dreamscape to leak into our reality. If you really want to have a face to face with Bill, I can drag him here."

Ford was about to stand over Dipper and start yelling at him, when Stan put a hand on his shoulder, pinning his brother with a hard glare. "This boy has been doing unexplainable things since coming here, so unless you have hard evidence to your theory, you touch him, I will punch you."

Stan shoved Ford back. Alex was standing behind Stan as he also glared at Ford. Dipper sighed, catching all their attention. "If it will calm you down, I will allow you to use your faulty machine. But in all honesty, it will be pointless, considering your 'muse' has not been summoned. There are only three people here with the knowledge to summon him. Me, you, and Gideon there."

Gideon waved with a nervous smile as he was stared at, before he pulled out journal 2. "In my defense, I have been behaving since Dipper set me straight."

Ford stepped over and yanked the journal from the boy's hands rather harshly. Mabel threw a muffin that hit Ford in the back of the head as she noticed Gideon flinch in fear, before rubbing his hands, implying that he had yanked enough to cause the corners to scratch at his palms.

Mabel had apparently gotten over her fear of what just went down, seeing as her brother had everything handled. Though watching a guy fall apart and hearing his screams of pain would not allow her to sleep well for a couple nights.

That was still no reason for her new grunkle to be such a sourpuss. Dipper scoffed at the sight, before he started to explain a bit about who Ford was, and how he was brought back. He explained what happened all those nights ago, between Ford and Stan, and what Stan went through to help his brother.

Everyone listened as Dipper spilled the stories behind the two men, he explained what happened all those nights ago, going into slight details on exactly what Stan had done, Ford showed irritation at being reminded of how Stan destroyed his life, but to hear the boy explain exactly how his machine was broken, was news to him.

Ford had never examined the machine to see how it was destroyed, he never really put much thought into the how, just that it was. Ford just scoffed, Dipper ignored him as he went on to explain how Stan felt, and how Stan was left with nothing but his car and a bag.

Dipper explained a couple of Stan's exploits, until Dipper misspoke. When Stan corrected him. "It was actually a Jared that shot me."

Dipper blinked as he turned his attention to Stan, Mabel smiled and giggled, finally having someone correct Dipper was like Christmas morning. But Ford had to ruin it. "So, you don't actually know everything huh? Otherwise, you would have gotten the names right."

Dipper rolled his eyes. "Fine, there is one detail I was slightly off with." Stan nodded. "Yeah, I was shot by Jose in the jail cell 'after' Jared shot me in the leg so he could get away."

That was not something that Mabel wanted to laugh about Dipper being wrong about. Dipper had purposefully gotten the detail wrong so Stan could call him out, and so Ford looked like an ass for laughing over something that serious.

Yeah, in the words of Stan, vengeance doesn't have to be big, to be satisfying. That should teach the man for grabbing and poking him. Ford tried his best to ignore the glares.

Dipper chose to finish, explaining how he had found the third journal, mostly so Stan had it and all three were found, while he corrected what was wrong in it and drew up a proper blueprint for Stan to follow and fix the portal correctly, to prevent the rift from forming.

Ford had looked through his first and third journals, finding so many corrections, so many of his notes being called out as narrow minded and biased. His calculations on the portal being called out as being written by a mindless monkey.

Yeah, Bill had helped him, but those were still a good deal of his work, everything he dedicated his life to. He was the genius, he was the one destined for greatness. And Dipper, this young boy, was calling him out. Explaining that his future could have been saved if he had just ignored that his brother was there, ignored that bag he saw, and fixed the machine, before reporting how he had to fix it.

Because yeah, that could have been blamed on the school's equipment, which would have actually turned everything around. Ford took a deep breath. "Well, fine. You all want to trust this 'boy', than I will just head home. I know what I know, and I know exactly how things are going to go. When you realize that this boy is possessed, and you all run to me to save him, I will remember this."

There was a sudden laugh that caused Ford to stiffen as he shifted his attention around the room.

"Well, well, well. Looks like someone is a little upset over something."

=-=-=-=-=-=-=End=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Okay, I had no idea where this one came from or why it went the way it did.

But it's here. And next chapter, Bill and Dipper have their first meeting in this timeline, and Dipper explains a little more of what he can do.

I guess my thoughts through my Many Trees story is also infecting this one, because I have had thoughts on how to add this Dipper to that story.

I in all honesty, would have added him, if I hadn't had such low hopes for the response this story would have.

Yeah, I did not think this story would have been accepted as much as it has, and with such a positive response from fans and friends, it has taken over my mind and thoughts.

It was the underdog in my archive, and you guys just had so much positive things to say about it. I had higher hopes for my Many Trees story, because it had two people with their own fanbase adding their characters, and it had Undertale and BatIM as inspiration for the other characters.

Too bad I feel I botched the first few chapters of it. I might rework them a little to flesh the starting out a bit more at some point. But I hope I take this story's plotline into a new and interesting direction from here. Yeah, I, at first, failed to realize how much I altered the story until I checked over the episode list for this chapter. Every other chapter had corresponding episodes as guidelines for what would happen during the chapter.

Well I ripped that plan up and dropped it in a shredder, before setting it on fire.
