She was quiet as she rode with Yachiru and her father back to town. They were busy chatting away at the front but she couldn't even pay attention. Her mind was filled with him. She didn't even know his name, yet he had known hers. Last night still played in her mind over and over. The way her body had responded when he touched her.
Why had he stopped? It had felt so good, like there was something coming. She sighed; would she see him again tonight? He seemed to always find her when she was in town. She didn't want to admit it, but she wanted to see him again and she wanted him to kiss her again.
"You two stick together ok, I have to finish setting up the bar. It's gonna be a busy night for us." Her father was talking.
Yachiru rolled her eyes, "We aren't kids."
"No but, you are young women."
Yachiru sighed "We'll be fine Pa."
Her father chuckled as he left them. They strolled along the shops watching the other people that did so too. The sounds of lively music wafted through the night sky, candles and torches lit the dirt road. The town had seemed to come alive with the festivities. She had dressed up quite a bit, even applying make-up. Yachiru had said she was definitely going to turn heads. And that's exactly what she wanted.
"Oh! I know, lets go and watch the fight."
Nel stopped to stare at her, "The fight? What is that?"
Yachiru sighed, side-eyeing her "Its boxing. They aren't trying to hurt each other silly. If you don't want to, we can go to see the side show."
"Well as long as it's a fair match, lets go." She followed the younger girl to the middle of the town, where a big ring was set in the middle of the square. "So, what do they get if they win?"
"Money of course, there are always guys from other towns that come to fight. Lately though there's a big guy that wins every time." Her eyes lit up as she spoke.
"That's not very fair is it."
"Of course it is. He's really good, he practices enough that he usually gets them down in the first or second round."
"You know him?" Nel rose a questioning eyebrow at her.
Yachiru's face reddened and she hid it behind her fan, "Not really, I just admire him." She let out an nervous giggle, "there he is." her eyes grew big with child-like marvel as a huge muscled man stepped into the ring.
They watched in amazement as he did in fact defeat each opponent that went up against him. After a few rounds he exited, going into a makeshift tent that had been set up.
"He was incredible; wasn't he Nel?" She squealed her eyes dreamy.
"Yea not bad, he's really strong." As inexperience as she was she could tell that Yachiru had some kind of infatuation for him, that was beyond admiration, "Have you met him before?"
Yachiru shook her head, "No…I could never…."
Nel grabbed her hand, pulling her through the crowds towards the tent. They stood there for a few minutes before he emerged. "Ok now's your chance, say something to him."
"I …I couldn't..."
"Excuse me sir." Nel hollered at him trying to get his attention.
"Stop it." Yachiru hissed at her, her face beet red.
He stopped and turn to them, "What?"
Nel gave her a little nudge, abandoning her to his steely gaze.
"I just wanted to say you were remarkable out there. I always come to watch you fight." She paused glancing down at the ground her hand fidgeting with dress, "Can… I can I buy you a drink?"
He eyed her, coolly. "Are ya even old enough to go into the Saloon?" He scoffed, then stopped at the way her face fell. "Sure, why not."
"Come on Nel." She took her friends hand, dragging her along her eyes steady on the frame of the tall man in front of her.
The saloon was as busy as usual, even more so with the new people from other towns. She glanced around the packed room, finding an empty table close to the bar. "What do you want to drink um…"
"Call me Kenpachi."
"What would you like Kenpachi?" she giggled nervously at just saying his name.
"Gins fine."
"What about you Nel?" Nel stared around the bar, she had never had alcohol before, so she wasn't quite sure what there was.
"Whatever you're getting is fine Yachiru."
She nodded skipping off to the bar, a happy spring in her step. She returned a few minutes later with the drinks, she took a seat and sipped at it slowly.
Nel glanced at her, she was being unusually quiet, maybe she was anxious. She laughed quietly to herself, she would give her some help. "So, Mr. Kenpachi how long have you been boxing? Yachiru told me you've been on a winning streak."
"Not too long."
"That's fascinating." She glanced down at the drink she hadn't even touched, "She also said that she hadn't been interested in boxing until she saw the way you moved."
Yachiru's eyes flew to her widening in embarrassment. "well…. umm." What was wrong with her? She usually could have conversations about nothing but sitting here next to him, his big solid frame so close, she couldn't help but feel out of her league. He was stunning and oh so masculine. "What I meant by that was that you looked so graceful up there." If it was possible her cheeks turned a brighter red. "I've just never seen a… a man like you before."
He turned to her a sly smirk on his face "Is that so?" He chuckled downing the last of his gin, "There's a lot more that I could show you."
Yachiru jumped out her seat "let… let ...me get you another one." She scurried away her heart beating frantically.
Nel sat there watching the exchange, was that some kind of innuendo? Did men out here just openly make sexual suggestions without a care. Maybe it was just the guys in the bar, hadn't he done the same?
She frowned, why was her mind on him and not her fiancé? Her frown grew even deeper; she was such a coward. She'd been there almost three weeks and still hadn't made any effort to go see him. Instead she let some random guy molest her and had delighted in it.
"Seen ya match Zaraki not bad."
Nell stilled at the sound of his voice. He pulled out the chair next to her and slumped down into it.
"Wasn't much effort honestly."
She kept her head down, she had to get away from this. Where the heck was Yachiru? She searched for her, she was still at the bar talking to her father, her face red and angry.
"Looks like you got into it too."
Only then did Nel sneak a peek at him. His shirt was opened enough to see his chest was wrapped in bandages.
He smirked, "You know me, gotta have a little fun every now and then. But fuck if he didn't get a couple of good shots in."
Her eyes widened at his curse; did they forget she was sitting right there? "Umm… I should go check on Yachiru." She stood unsteadily to her feet.
"Seems like you scared her away."
"She's afraid of her own shadow." He laughed.
She stopped ready to give a witty retort but didn't instead she left to find Yachiru. They returned to the table minutes later with new drinks in hand. The conversation at the table ceasing. She hesitantly took her seat next to him. She took a sip of her drink her face recoiling at the taste. Why did people drink this stuff? It was very bitter, and it burned her throat.
She could hear his snickers next to her "First time eh? Seems like ya losing lots of your firsts here."
"No…no it isn't." she sputtered out to the amusement of everyone at the table. "I guess the city's liquor must be watered down. This is way stronger than what I'm used to." She chuckled nervously, feeling very foolish.
Yachiru grinned at her, "Why do ya think my pops place is popular?" She took a big swig of hers and Nel's eyes widened slightly. How could she really be enjoying it? "More bang for ya buck" she said proudly.
She nodded, taking a small sip of her drink. She could feel his eyes on her, it was making her super tense coupled with the alcohol that was making her lightheaded.
"You staying for a while?"
"A few days at least," Kenpachi paused glancing at the girl next to him "Found something I'd like to explore a bit before I leave."
Yachiru was too busy in her thoughts to notice his glance. "If you need a tour guide, I can help. I know pretty much all there is to know about the town."
Nel smiled to herself she really liked him. She wanted to leave them alone but what would be the point if he was going to stay. She set down her empty cup turning to him. "Do you want to go see the side show with me?"
He regarded her questioningly for a second before downing the last of his drink and getting up.
She got up shakily the alcohol really taking affect, but she steadied herself, "See you later Yachiru." She gave the girl a wink before walking out behind him.
The cool night air felt refreshing on her flushed skin. When had it gotten so dark? She turned to him, "I'm going to see the show, I'd like it if you didn't follow me."
"You just invited me."
"I only did that so you could leave them alone, seems like my friend likes him." She stepped away from him, heading down the boardwalk.
"Wait a damn minute woman." He was next to her in no time, his hand pulling her towards him. "You shouldn't wander off, this aint the city."
"Why can't you just leave me alone?"
"You gonna tell me that you aren't intrigued about what comes next? Were you satisfied, left on the brink of cumming?" His mouth tilted into smirk at the blush on her face.
"I am not interested in that; in fact, I have someone that I love. I have a fiancé. So you should just quit chasing me. I won't surrender to you."
"Love?" he stared down at her a startled look on his face, "What do you love about him?"
"He's kind and sweet and super romantic. He said he wants to make me happy and be with me for the rest of our lives."
"Love," this time he said it with hilarity, "you've cummed at my fingers, begged me for more, yet you are in love with someone." He said mirthfully, "Do you even know the meaning of the word?"
She frowned, pulling away from him, "You forced yourself on me you brute. I didn't want to be touched by you…"Even as she was speaking, she had to stop, suddenly feeling dizzy. She tried to get her bearings, but the alcohol was finally kicking in, she fainted.~
She awoke startled out of her sleep. Her head was aching like crazy and the sun did nothing to help. She groaned getting out of bed and going to the bathroom only to stop realizing this wasn't her house.
Where the hell was she? She took a deep breath checking her body, her clothes were still intact. It looked like she had just fallen into bed and fell asleep.
She gathered her senses looking around her surroundings, it was lavishly decorated in rich browns and blues. This was a man's bedroom. She hurriedly found the door forgetting her need to use the bathroom and followed the winding stairs down. To an equally immaculate foyer.
She paused how was she to get home, she couldn't just walk she had no clue where she was. She ventured into the closest room to her which was a sitting room. There was coffee already set out so whoever this home belonged to was up and about somewhere.
"Your awake Nelliel. How are you feeling? Would you like something to eat?" A tall well-dressed attractive blonde man stood there, staring intently at her.
"Who are you and how do you know my name?" She stepped back a little uneasy.
His smile was warm and gentle, "how could I not know you? I am bit surprised you're here though. I had no clue you had already left the city. I was awaiting word from you."
Waiting for her… was this Nnoitra? She surveyed him taking in his whole appearance, yes she could imagine him writing those sweet words. She visibly relaxed.
"Yes I would love something to eat." She followed him watching him carefully he was very charming. She could marry him, and his house was huge he had some kind of money.
They ended up in a large dining room, the table was spread with some delicious looking delicacies but that's not what she noticed first.
"Master Gilga, your guest is awake."
A devious grin spread across his lips, his eyes holding hers.
She backed away, staring at him that wasn't possible he couldn't be Nnoitra. "You're… you're Nnoitra?"
"Yes, my dear are you surprised? Disappointed maybe that it isn't my Tesra that is your 'love'?"
She couldn't speak, she was still in shock. He had known it was her from the beginning, was that why he continually harassed her? "How did you know who I was?"
"How could I forget your face?" he set down his silverware "You may go Tesra."
The blonde man nodded bowing before leaving the two alone.
"Have a seat and eat."
Her face? She had never met him before returning. So how? She didn't move. She wanted nothing more than to run away from him. How could this be the man she had loved? He was nothing like the sweet guy that wrote such beautiful poetry to her. "You're lying." She finally got out. She couldn't, no wouldn't believe it was him.
"I assure you I'm not."
"Why …why would you do this to me? Was this some kind of twisted jest?"
"No" he said coolly his eye never leaving hers. "Just wanted to see what my fiancée was like. I was moderately disappointed that you, didn't immediately come to me when you returned."
She glanced away from him unable to hold his gaze any longer, "I was going to, I was just afraid…" her voice trailed off.
"Afraid of me?" he was scowling now.
She shook her head, even after the boorish way he had treated her each time they had met, underneath all of that there had to be something. There was no way a man could write those types of letters without love in his heart. She glanced at him; her face pensive "I was afraid I would not measure up to your expectations. Maybe you would have been dissatisfied with my appearance. I do not know. I was worried that even though you declared your love for me and want to take me as your wife you wouldn't echo that sentiment after meeting me."
He stood slowly going over to where she stood. He gently lifted her head to look at him, surveying her face, "There is no disappointment on my end, if you could not tell I find you sexy as fuck, even now, your hair a mess, sleep still in your eyes I want nothing more than to clear this damnable table and fuck you until you beg me to stop."
Nel's eyes widened taken aback by his words, but as if on cue her body started to burn a wave of desire coursing over her. The bodice of her dress seeming to want to suffocate any room that had been left. " I…I…" her voice was caught, what could she say to that?
His grin was devilish as he held her steady, keeping her gaze on him "And what of me, were you afraid I was monster, having to resort to telegraph to find love? Are you dissatisfied, with my appearance?"
She observed him attentively, cataloging his features, in the light of the brighten room she could see him clearly. He was quite handsome, in an unusual way. He would never pass as a prince, but the way his silver-gray eye held a spark, like a secret being kept. His thin lips looked inviting, his straight nose, and the way his hair hung just so. She was pleased by his appearance. "I am not, " she said ending the silence in the room. "I just…I didn't know what to expect… your letters were so beautiful, I did not know how to face the man I was in love with. "
"Tesra does have a way with words don't he?"
"Tesra? So you did not write them?" was that disappointment in her voice?
"No."
She frowned, all those words of love, and undying passion. The picturesque future he had weaved for them, were all a farce. Those were not his words from his heart, but another mans. So was she in love with Tesra? She stood still there clutching her body, the extravagant dress she wore, now feeling tight and binding. This could not be.
She slowly slid into the seat, the realization hitting her like a sack of bricks, voiding her of her breath. " Everything…all of it, was a lie… I want to go home…I don't…" she could feel the sudden wetness on her cheeks, as the tears streamed slowly down her face. Why had she been so stupid, of course it had been to good to be true. She sat there sobbing quietly lamenting about her situation, now what was she to do?
He scrutinized her, watching her small body shake ever so slightly with each sob. He sighed deeply going to her and picking her up gently. He cradled her to his chest, feeling the wetness of her tears on his chest. "Is it so bad that I am your betrothed?"
She sniffled into his shirt, it was, this man was a bully, taking advantage of her at every chance he could, making a fool of her. "Put me down," she said weakly, she just wanted to get away from his as fast as she could. she would sell her land and go back to the city.
She was surprised when he did set her down, "I'll have Tesra return you home." He said nothing else as he made his exit.
She glanced up to his sleeping face, soft snores emanating from him. She hesitated a few minutes to long, just watching him sleep. She sighed to herself leaving. *
It was Saturday and as usual she had nothing to do. School would be over in a week and a half, no more homework was being handed out. So she didn't even have that to worry about.
She wanted to go to Ichigo's but wouldn't till later, to work. Being in his presence the whole day would wreak havoc on her already fragile feelings. But until then she really had nothing planned. Saturdays were for boyfriends and lovers not friends that didn't have one of their own.
She sighed staring at the clock watching each minute going by slower than the last. Her cell rang and she dove for it.
She stared at the number, her heart speeding up. It was Ichigo…
"Hey…" her voice was soft, her heart going a mile an hour.
"What are you doing right now?"
"Just catching up on my homework." She lied.
"So ya busy then?"
"No umm I mean not really. I can do it anytime."
"Ok then get dressed I'm downstairs."
She jumped off her bed going to the window and peeked out the blinds. Sure enough his black sedan sat in front of her driveway. "Why didn't you call me first to let me know you were coming over?" she was frantically searching through her closet trying to find something cute to wear.
"Would you have been ready if I did?"
"I'm calling you now, what's the difference?"
She let out an exasperated sigh. "Give me a few minutes ok."
"Take your time I'm in no rush." He chuckled his voice languid.
She hung up and rushed to the bathroom brushing her teeth and hair. She glanced at herself; excitement clearly written on her face. He had come to get her. The prospect of being alone with him in the back seat making her giddy.
She hurriedly dressed choosing a tank sans bra and a pair of short shorts. She took one final peek at herself, knowing how provocatively she was dressed. She frowned for a sec before pulling on a cardigan just in case.
As she reached the bottom the stairs the just in case stood there his hands crossed over his broad chest.
"Good morning Byakuya-Sama." She said sweetly a big smile on her face, she didn't stop but hurriedly made her way to the front door.
"Where are you going?"
She stopped, "just going to the mall with Rangiku…"
"that's not her car or her boyfriends for that matter. Who is it?"
She stared at the door "it's her moms, hers in the shop."
"Rukia."
His stern voice made her frown and slumped "I already told you, I'll be back before curfew." She hurriedly left before he could say anything else. She was in no mood for his house his rules lecture.
The bodyguard opened the door and she slid in next to Ichigo. He was dressed casually in a jean and a tee. "hey"
"Hey."
She sat back in the plush seat, "so…where are we going?"
He glanced at her, his eyes skimming her scantily clad body. "Maybe I should be asking you that"
She blushed staring down at her pale legs "you came to my house." She frowned.
"Was thinking the arcade but now I think my house will suffice." His eyes didn't leave her chest. The creamy pale tops of her breasts teased him and he adjusted himself in his seat.
"The arcade sounds fun." Her voice was high, his gaze making her hot. A small thrill went through her knowing this had been the right outfit to wear. Even if he wouldn't say it, she could see he wanted her body. That was something right.
He shook his head, pulling her on top of him. "Did you wear this for me or for other guys to ogle you?"
"Well I didn't know where we were going besides its hot out."
He ran his hands over her bare thighs "you trying to make me jealous Rukia?"
"Not at all" she smiled innocently. Her breath coming shorter with each stroke.
"So I'm supposed to watch as you tease other guys with this erotic body?" His voice was husky a deep sensual tone.
"I mean if that's your thing, then its fine by me."
He chuckled "my thing? I can show you my thing if you like, or better yet I could show you a lot of things."
Her face reddened, her mind conjuring up images of his hard cock. Why was she letting him do this? She was supposed to be teasing him, yet he was in total control.
"Get your mind out of the gutter Ichigo." She pulled away from him, seating herself out of his reach.
He chuckled, stretching out into the plush seat of the car, "let me take you away for the weekend."
She shook her head, "I couldn't possibly go Ichigo."
"Why not, I'll have you back in time for school Monday morning if that's what you're worried about."
She frowned it wasn't, Byakuya would never in a million years let her go off with a guy "I just can't…my brother would kill me, after you of course."
He scoffed, "then don't tell him, it'll fun I promise."
She glanced at him, she really shouldn't even be entertaining the thought, but her mind was running through different scenarios, all of which ended up with her laying next to him in bed, a pleasured and satisfied look upon her face. Finally she nodded, "OK but let me go back and get a few things."
His lips twisted into a slick smile. "We'll get whatever you need on the way."
She frowned becoming suspicious only then glancing out the window noticing that they were no longer in the city. In fact the surroundings were not familiar at all. "you sneaky little…"
He burst out laughing at her reddened face "Relax Rukia, we're going to have a lot of fun."
As much as she would have liked to believe that, she knew that this would either be the best weekend of her life or she would go home in tears.
A/N: OK so that's the seventh chapter. Hopefully you guys enjoy it.
