Hello Archive of our Own and Fanfiction welcome to the first chapter of this story I hope that will go well and you enjoy the shenanigans that Jaune and Blake will go trying to convince their friends they are not dating while they act like they actually are and I repeat that while they may act as a couple (minor the kissing and other things that maybe consider romantic) they will not be an actual one until maybe the beginning of their second year at Beacon or maybe less I honestly don't know if I'm going to slow on their Slow Burn romance its just that I'm not a fan of fast realization of love but please leave a review if I'm going to slow or to fast. But any way onto the story enjoy.
Inside a bullhead there is a curious sight, well curious if you take out the hundreds of teenagers armed with deadly weapons (that are also guns) making their way to Beacon, we find a guy trying to hard to hide himself with his hood up and a book covering his face and from time to time he will look up and look around searching for something or, in his case, someone.
His name is Jaune Arc and hes currently hiding from his best friend/childhood friend/sister from another mother, Pyrrha Nikos and you may ask why? And the answer is well he fake his way into Beacon thanks to his sisters because, despite his training with his father and best friend, it could not be consider enough to be admitted at Beacon.
That's why he's hiding from her so he could avoid the scolding he deserves.
While looking around he spotted a faunus girl that was also reading the same book he was reading.
"A man with two souls"- Jaune murmured- "Nice"- then the girl, as if she had hear him then he remembered how much better the Faunus hearing was, looked up at him making him flinch and looked back down at the book in his hands only to realize that, somehow, the book was upside down and the girl must have noticed because she giggled at his predicament.
"I guess reading "A Man With Two Souls" upside down makes it better"- the mysterious girl said very amused while Jaune laughed nervously when they heard someone speaking.
"Hello, and welcome to Beacon!"- said a blonde woman on the screen where music videos were playing before, Jaune instantly recognized her as Glynda Goodwitch, an old friend of his Family who used to babysit him when he was young-"You are among a privileged few who have received the honor of being selected to attend this prestigious academy! Our world is experiencing an incredible time of peace, and as future Huntsmen and Huntresses, it is your duty to uphold it. You have demonstrated the courage needed for such a task, and now it is our turn to provide you with the knowledge and the training to protect our world"- well that was something as Jaune watch the image disappear as he get up and looked out the window and saw they were closing in Beacon.
"Finally"- said Jaune excited because the trip was too long and he was still paranoid about encountering Pyrrha, and as if he summoned her, he felt a tap on his shoulder and suddenly felt dread so he slowly turned around to come face to face with an angry Pyrrha Nikos.
Well there you have the first chapter I hope you enjoy it and that the wait was worth it.
But what will happen to our dear Jaune now that hes traped with his sister in all but blood? You have to wait but I promise that he will receive an earful from Pyrrha in the next chapter along with meting Crater-Face.
