Kuri ran into Ben's house, fighting off Sevenseven.
"How did you—" Ben said.
"No time." Kuri said.
After defeating Sevenseven, Kuri flipped and landed.
"Sorry about that, Mr and Mrs Tennyson." Kuri surveyed the damage.
"Sit primum ergo dicendum quod ego faciam fiet sed somnium est non visum scaenam!"
The house was repaired.
"Ben. Come on." Kuri pulled him outside.
Standing there next to Grandpa Max was an elderly woman wearing bohemian clothes.
"Meet my Grams. Your family is under attack." Kuri said.
"Not to worry." Grams said. "We can do anything."

Kuri, Ben, Kevin and Rei were with their families in a safe house.
As the enemy converged on them, Grams grinned with a smile reminiscent of Kuri and said an impressive incantation.
"Midoriko, Arra, Anita, Izumi, and Rika."
"Priestesses of old stand strong beside us."
"Show this evil what we're made of."
A barrier flew up and protected the safe house.
Light from the barrier zapped Zombozo, Vulkanus, and Charmcaster.
"Any further messing with our families will result in a fate worse than death. I believe you can see that now." Grams gave them a satisfied smile.

"That's why she has such a strong need to keep herself strong and safe." Kevin said.
"You guys have no idea." Reiko laughed.
Kuri just rolled her eyes, cringing with memories of her childhood.
