Five Years Ago
Miko was cutting the ribbon at the grand opening of Mr Smoothy in Bellwood. Suddenly her eyes blazed silver and she whirled.
Megawatts attacked and she threw an ofuda into the shadows.
It was caught by Stinkfly, who flew in and fought the Megawatts.
They covered him in smoothy gunk and made him unable to fly.
"Ew I hate smoothies!" Stinkfly, now Ben, said.
"You may not say that forever!" Miko grinned.
They ran outside and found that they were surrounded by megawatts.
Ben turned into Feedback and defeated them.
"Yeah! Go Feedback!" Miko grinned.
Present Day
Kuri and Ben were out on patrol and Ben was bored.
"So you really haven't tried to find me at all?" Kuri asked.
"Did I need to?" Ben said. "You were in Plumber training. You...left."
Kuri rolled her eyes. "Since when are you so sensitive Ben. Yeah. I had to go. But I came back. Just like I pro—"
Kuri stopped the truck, her eyes silver.
"What do you see?" Ben said.
Suddenly she started driving and approached a warehouse.
Her skin began to light up silver with spiritual energy and Ben knew better than to talk to her when she went on a rampage like this.
Kuri grabbed the Omnitrix and dialed in an unfamiliar alien, then slapped it down, eyes still silver and unfocused.
She stopped the car, and floated—yes floated—towards the door, everything around her folding as if crushed.
Ben realized she had chosen the new alien—Gravattack—because he could withstand the energy she was putting out and was thankful.
They approached what appeared to be a battery but what was on closer inspection a bunch of enslaved Megawatts.
Kuri freed them with a whirl of her hand, and began punishing the captors—Fistrick and Corvo—by crushing them with telekinesis while the Megawatts cheered her on.
"Stop it." Ben said gripping her arm. "Since when do you go berserk like Reiko? Is this another one of you—"
Kuri turned, and Ben was afraid she'd turn on him, but the light died, and so did her powers, though there was a pained howl on the wind, and if one looked up, the moon, which had been in crescent phase, was now full.
Far off, Reiko looked up at the moon and let out a soft howl in response to her comrade.
