This is my nineteenth chapter of Spyro: Good vs. Evil.

Pairings: Spyro/Flame, Ember/Bandit, Ignitus/Volteer, Hunter the Cheetah/Avalar, Cyril/Terrador, Zoe/Sparx (Slash)

Bandit was hitting targets provided under the protection of Cyril and Terrador while his girlfriend, Ember, was sitting on the sidelines, reciting a poem quoted by William Shakespeare to the moon, until Terrador approached her with anger. "Why aren't you training? He asked. His mate walked up to see what the commotion was. "Ember here was thinking about Spyro again," He told him. At this time of training? He replied. "So what? Spyro is the most important dragon to me, and no one can take that away" She spoke too soon as Volteer ran up to them, turning their attention to him. "Volteer, report! The earth dragon said like he was on the national guards.

My son is going to see Spyro," The electric dragon said. Cyril and Terrador were taken back cause they failed to know that Flame was his son; they always slept during his stories. 'I see *ahem* well, make sure he's being careful in enemy territory," He said, and Volteer nodded before walking away. "Y'know, it kinda makes sense cause Ignitus was like a father figure to Spyro, and since Spyro was in a relationship with Flame, that makes Volteer his father," Cyril said. Still, his mate sighed while rolling his eyes, then turned back to Ember, who picked a flower, most likely attending to her luck at the pedals while repeating the words He Loves Me, and He Loves Me Not.

Terrador was just about fed up with her. "Ember, are you aware that the clock is ticking? He said but to no avail. Ember ignored him until Cyril came up and asked his mate to let him try. Terrador sighed and stepped aside. "Spyro's life is at stake here," The Ice dragon said. Hearing this, Ember finally looked at the dragon with a sad expression. "What? She said. She got up, did the stereotypical trope, and flew to her room crying. Terrador looked at his mate, wondering why he was glaring at him. Cyril smiled nervously at what he's done. The Earth dragon closed his eyes while turning his head away. Bandit imagined the targets were those nasty Gnorcs."Yeeedoggie, I feel like I'm on fire," The armadillo said. "You are mastering this, I assume? Terrador asked with a smile. "I'm from Cliff Town; we are known for our shooting range," He claimed as he aimed.

Meanwhile, Volteer was heading back into the Pool of Visions with the intention that he could speak to his mate cause he missed him so very much until he heard his name being echoed. "Ignitus," He said as the voice was coming from behind him, looking back but seeing no one. He was starting to sigh in disappointment until he witnessed a shadowy silhouette that resembled the deceased dragon. Volteer closed his eyes, knowing his eyes were playing tricks on him. "No, you're not real," He said in a broken voice, and a teat ran down his cheek. Suddenly, what he thought to be lost hope was reality when he heard his voice again. He wasn't more intelligent than his fellow dragons, however.

He did learn to follow his heart. "Volteer dead, come to me," the voice trembled in his ears, making him eager to resist. He finally broke and ran to the silhouette, teary eyes and panting. As he went, he could see the silhouette getting smaller than his size. "Iggy! He shouted out a pet name he thought for a while. When he got to the spot, he thought that he saw things. "Get it together, Volteer," He said to himself while panting. Suddenly, he felt a light-heated breath on his neck that brought shivers down his spine. "Volteer, nice to see you again. "It's all in your head," He whispered under his breath before turning to see a newly improved Ignitus. His heart submitted at first glance.

He was now hypnotized. "Iggy," He said seductively and smiled though he was too deep to see clearly. "I knew I wasn't imagining things," He said before getting closer and closer until Ignitus stopped him right there. "Iggy?" He asked, looking confused. Within an instant, Ignitus backed up to reveal his proper form. Volteer was more confused he saw what shocked him; it was revealed to be none other than the Chronicler. "Yesss, my experiment worked? He asked. Experiment? Chronicler was unaware Volteer was saying this right in from of him and broke down sniffing.

Back on Concurrent Skies, Spyro was playing with his fire while the villains were planning what to do with him. "He can't do anything," Cynder said. "I could just banish him from the Dragon Realm," The Sorcerer said, adding a laugh. Silence! Cynder yelled, causing everybody to become silent. "I'll continue to use Sypro for my benefits," She said with a chuckle but cleared her throat to command her henchmen to guard the entrance. Gnasty Gnorc and Red seemed to shine on one another throughout recruitment. They happily agreed to treat Mammoth as their child, so the two held hands after Gnasty called him over before going. "The rest of you disperse" She yelled, and the Sorcerer, along with the Sorceress, went to the other entrances. "

"Time to have some fun," She said and walked to her re-newed lover, but not before perking herself up by changing into her average size. Sparx was trying his best to cheer him up. "Hey, come on, at least you have me," the dragonfly said, adding a smile though the purple dragon looked unphased. "I shouldn't have said that," He said to himself and tried some other attempts until the two came to a stop when Cynder busted in. "I hope you're getting settled into your new home," She asked.

Hearing all this, Spyro continues to mope, so Sparx couldn't help but intervene. 'Listen here, lady...Spyro needs someone who can provide him with lots of love and NOT live in constant fear," He said, but that only angered her. "I give him lots of LOVE" She used her lightning breaths to do intense pain to him, causing him to faint on the ground. Noticing without looking, he could feel the power growing inside him, but due to his deep sadness, it wasn't powerful enough. 'Please, leave me alone," He begged. "Meh, I'll make you a deal since you are powerless. Spyro does not have a fighting chance cause he feels useless. "Please...anything," He said. Cynder smiled and snickered as she watched him wobble to stand.

Ohhhh, Nooooo, Spyro has lost all confidence in himself. That's all I can say about this chapter. Next chapter, we'll see Flame interacting with his mate for the last time before the big battle then it's all about the climax from there. Don't you worry, I sensed that Flame would need some special training, following in his footsteps. As for Volteer, he will do the best he can to make his deceased mate proud. I don't like Ember, guys, so I'll see her as a drama queen.

Some more funny is happening, be prepared. Let me know if I need to add more detail cause I sometimes can't put it as precisely as I would like.
