It was a normal day in the City of Angel Grove California. People driving to work. Children heading to school.
And thankfully no monster attacks today.
But even if there were, the city's heroes, the Power Rangers, would show up and deal with them. Like they always did.
But for right now the focus wasn't on them. Oh no. Right now the focus was on a moving truck that was parked in front of a house that had a for sale sign that was labeled sold on it.
"If you break any of those plates I'll cut you!" A woman's voice yelled from the front yard to the movers carrying things inside the house. A beautiful woman with long, red hair down to her back and violet eyes wearing a green shirt and a black skirt. This was Kushina Uzumaki
"Yes miss Uzumaki!" the workers all yelled as they carefully moved everything
Kushina smiled and nodded at this as a blonde man her age came out in a black suit with a white shirt and red tie. this was Minato
"Keeping the movers on their toes dear?" Minato said with a chuckle as Kushina helped him adjust his tie
"Yup cause if they aren't kept on their toes they'll lose theirs" Kushina said with an evil looking grin
"Just try not to make a bad impression. Last thing we need is for me to arrest my own wife on my first day as chief" Minato told her with a sigh at her usual behavior
"I promise nothing! Now where's Naruto?" She asked
"Right here kaa-san. I'm all unpacked" a male voice said as a teen boy with blonde hair similar to Minato's, bright blue eyes, and some whisker like birthmarks on his cheeks.
"Good, the movers just unloaded your motorcycle. You can go to school now" Kushina told him as she tossed him a backpack which he caught
"Try not to prank anyone on your first day son" Minato said with a smile at his teen son
"I promise nothing!" Naruto exclaimed
"Well at least try to find a girl or something, Maybe a club? Try fencing, you can stab people in that one!" Kushina suggested with a smile
"... sweetie you can't stab anyone in fencing. The swords have balls at the end to prevent that." Minato deadpanned
"... then what's the point?" Kushina questioned as she didn't see the point if there was no bodily harm or risk.
"Look just try to do your best son be yourself and make some friends" Minato said with a smile at his son while ignoring his wife's question
Naruto nodded at this before he left the house on his orange motorcycle
"Why did you tell him to be himself? if he's himself he will act like a clueless baka and never get a girlfriend" Kushina groaned out
"Oh c'mon Kushi he's 17. Let him just enjoy his youth." Minato said with an eye roll
"Fine I'll let this go. For now I need to focus on my new business venture" Kushina said with a smile
"... it's not that dance club idea again is it? Or the knockoff girl scout cookies?" Minato questioned dreading it
"No no I heard that the guy who runs the youth center wants to sell and retire so-" Kushina was saying
"You? Running a youth center? Don't you have to be inspiring and a good influence to do that?" Minato questioned baffled
"Hey! I helped raise Naruto didn't I? I can so run a youth center" Kushina told him determined
"You hate teens!" Minato told her with a flat tone
"No, I hate those that don't show respect." Kushina told him firmly
"... ok fine" Minato sighed as he had no chances winning this argument against his wife
"Good. Now run along dear. Crack a few skulls for me" Kushina giggled as she sent her husband away to his first day of work
(15 mins later. Angel Grove High School)
Outside of the high-school teens were going to school for the day. Be they walking in or driving up everyone was heading to school.
Soon a van holding 6 teens pulled into a parking spot being driven by a blonde boy with glasses who was wearing blue. This was Billy Cranston the blue ranger.
Next to him sat an asian girl with long black hair wearing yellow. This was Trini Kwan, the yellow ranger.
In the back of the van were 4 individuals. An African American teen wearing black. This was Zack Taylor the black ranger. A teen boy wearing red named Jason Lee Scott. The red ranger. A girl with brunette hair in a ponytail wearing pink named Kimberly Hart, the Pink ranger. And finally a teen boy with long brown hair wearing green. This was Tommy Oliver, the green ranger.
"Glad we weren't late to school" Billy said everyone quickly got out of the van
"Wish we could've stopped for something to eat" Zack said as he opened the sliding van door and hopped out
"next time don't skip breakfast Zack" Jason said with a grin as they all out of the van
"Not my fault My mom accidentally burned down the kitchen" Zack grumbled as everyone chuckled. As they laughed at the black ranger's misfortune, an orange motorcycle pulled into the parking space next to theirs. The six teens saw a figure with an orange helmet obscuring their face wearing an orange shirt underneath a black leather jacket and some blue jeans
Naruto took off his helmet and put it in the carry case on the back of the bike. "Guess I'm on time" he said as he stepped off the motorcycle and took off his jacket.
"Must be a new kid" Tommy said as he and the others looked at Naruto's arrival.
"We should introduce ourselves. We still have time before class." Kimberly suggested
"Sounds good to me let's go" Jason said as they all started to walk towards Naruto except for Trini who didn't walk because she was too busy eyeing Naruto and his bike.
"Hey you're new here right?" Kimberly asked as she walked over to Naruto flanked by Tommy, Jason, Zack, and Billy.
Naruto turned to the teens "Yes I am. Just arrived today. Name's Naruto Uzumaki" he said with a smile at them
"I'm Kimberly. These are my friends Tommy, Jason, Billy, Zack and Trin-" She said pointing to each of them but saw Trini was afar "Trini don't you want to say hi?" Kimberly asked as Trini never was shy or anything. She was always outgoing.
Trini snapped out of it and composed herself before she ran over. "Sorry I was distracted by something. I'm Trini Kwan" she introduced herself to Naruto with a smile
Naruto smiled at Trini and nodded "No problem" he told her "say would you six be able to tell me where the principal's office is? I need to get my schedule" Naruto asked kindly
"Sure man we can show you" Zack said as he nodded his head.
"Thanks man" Naruto said, relieved as he swung his backpack over his shoulder before two guys suddenly came over to his bike. Both dressed in all black. One really skinny and lanky while the other was incredibly rotund. The skinny one was called Skull while the big guy was called Bulk.
"This is a nice bike" Bulk said admiring it "the color is terrible though" he said as Skull squatted down and looking at the tires
"At least it stands out," Naruto said, not noticing the frowns on the other six's faces at the two teens showing up.
"Yeah but it looks so gaudy. Now if it were black though" Bulk said as he looked it over and touched the handlebar of the motorcycle
"Hey look I'm cool with the looking but can you please not just touch my bike?" Naruto asked
"And who are you whiskers? A cat man?" bulk asked while skull laughed at his friends dig at Naruto
"Names Naruto a new student now step away from my bike please. Final warning." Naruto told them with a firm tone
"Oh? And what are you gonna-" Bulk was saying poking a finger at Naruto's chest
Before Naruto grabbed his finger and with a quick move judo flipped the big teen over his shoulder and slammed him onto the ground
"... you alright Bulk?" Skull asked as he approached his friend to check on him
"I think the world is spinning too fast, Skull" Bulk groaned out as he stood up shakily to his feet. And then promptly fell again
"We have an understanding about my motorcycle now?" Naruto asked firmly
"Yes sir! We'll stay away from your totally cool colored motorcycle" Bulk said quickly. He didn't want to be judo thrown again
"Good now if you'll excuse me, my new friends are gonna show me to the principal's office" Naruto said as he walked over to the six rangers in their civilian state.
"You know judo?" Tommy asked curiously. He was familiar with martial arts and was always interested in seeing new styles
"Oh sure my mom has been teaching me since I was 5" Naruto said as he and the others walked into the High School
"Huh maybe we should spar together some time" Jason said as Tommy nodded in agreement there.
"You a martial artist?" Naruto asked Jason curiously
"Me and Tommy here tied at the Angel Grove youth centers martial arts expo" Jason said gesturing to him and Tommy
"Youth center huh? Is it a good place to hang out?" Naruto asked curiously
"Yup. And they have some amazing smoothies" Kimberly said with a smile
"Cool I'll have to check it out after school" Naruto grinned as the seven headed for the principal's office
(The moon)
On the moon there was a giant castle, and inside this castle there was what looked like a woman dressed like a witch, complete with a large staff which she called a wand. This was Rita Repulsa self proclaimed Empress of Evil
She was looking down at Earth through her telescope while her monster minions Goldar, Finster, Squat and Baboo
"Oooh those rotten rangers! How dare they thwart my plans time after time!" Rita growled aloud with a furious frown on her face as she stepped away from the giant telescope.
"Maybe you should send another monster down there to attack the city my empress" Squat offered
"Oh a genius idea you simpleton! And what monster do we have to send?!" Rita yelled sarcastically at her simpering minion
"I can go down my empress. I have a score to settle with the traitor" Goldar said in reference to Tommy
"Didn't he just get that spell removed?" Baboo asked with a clueless look on his face
"Shut up you idiots! You're giving me a headache!" RIta growled out in anger at being reminded of this failure
"How about I go" a Female Voice stated as all of the assembled villains looked over to see a woman leaning on the door frame.
"Scorpina?" Baboo asked confused why she wanted to go down to the city
"I don't need an excuse to cause some havoc for my Empress" Scorpina said with a bow to Rita
"Back off Scorpina! I will be the one heading into the city" Goldar growled as he hated Scorpina
"You will both go and take a squad of putties with you. Heck take 2 squads, send them out to cause as much chaos as possible while holding off the rangers. Divide and Conquer!" Rita bellowed
"Ah a fantastic idea my empress" Goldar said with a nod and a bow as him and scorpina left the castle with a flash of teleportation magic
(with Naruto)
It was now after school and Naruto and his new friends were leaving school for the day
"Ok so I'll follow you guys to this community center" Naruto said as he approached his motorcycle and sat on it before looking at his new friends
"Sounds good to me we can spar a bit while we are there" Jason said with a nod as he was eager to face the blonde in a spar
"Beep beep beep beep beep beep"
Jason and the others paused at this as they all looked at their watches which were going off
"That some weird in sync alarm?" Naruto asked curiously
"It's like a beeper we need to go" Tommy said apologetically
"Yeah sorry about this" Trini said with a frown as she didn't want Naruto to think they were ditching him
Naruto waved them off "it's fine. I'll drive around and see some sights. Might as well get some layout of the city. Heck maybe I'll see those power rangers you guys have in this city" he said with a smile before he started his bike
"You Never know" Kimberly said before they walked away as Naruto drove off into the city.
(20 mins later)
Naruto was now in the outskirts of the city sitting on top of a Cliffside looking out at the the rocky area
"Huh, it's a bit boring out here. Could be a good place for a paintball gun fight or something though" he said in regards to the barren area he found himself in.
As he looked around at his surroundings he spotted what looked like a weird building on top of a mountain.
"Is that a factory?" He asked confused as he didn't know there was some factory out this far. Suddenly what looked like 6 colored lights shot through the sky. Red, blue, green, yellow, Pink, and black
"huh weird hmmmm" Naruto said as he got up and approached his motorcycle before he started it and drove it closer to the mountain for a better view.
(inside the command center)
inside the building Naruto spotted was what looked like a high tech computer setup and what looked like a robot with a round head and a blue glowing face in a giant tube nearby. These were alpha 5 and Zordon
"What The hell?!" Naruto exclaimed baffled at what he was seeing gaining their attention from their viewing a glowing orb in the room which they used to look at the world outside
"Aiyiyiyiyi! A human teenager has found the command center! The other alphas will Never Let me live this down!" alpha 5 said as he looked at the viewing globe seeing Naruto on it
"It is alright alpha he can't get in without a power coin. The most that will happen is he thinks the command center is an old carving in the mountain" Zordon said hoping to calm the robot down
"This is so weird" Naruto muttered on the screen as he knocked on the 'carving' with his fist.
"Quite curious for a human" alpha 5 said as him and Zordon watched Naruto through the viewing globe
"It looked like a factory from far away. But up close it looks like a carving. And no one mentioned any landmarks on the outskirts when we moved here" Naruro said looking at it inquisitively
As Naruto walked and inspected the wall he stopped as he looked at a dusty part of it and his curiosity got the best of him and he wiped it away showing what looked like a carving of what looked like an eye with multiple size increased ripples going around the pupil.
As soon as Naruto touched the carving the eye symbol started to glow bright purple and silver. "What the fuck?!" Naruto yelled wide eyed. This was freaky man. Super fucking freaky!"
"Zordon what is that?!" Alpha asked panicking
Zordon looked at the carving as what looked like an opening under Naruto opened and he fell through the hole "so the time has come. The universe must be in dire need of this long buried power." Zordon said in a serious tone
Alpha 5 paused at this as he looked at Zordon "you mean?" he asked
"Indeed Alpha it would seem my old friend Hagaromo has found his heir at last" Zordon said
"Aiyiyiyiyi! I hope that fox isn't as foul mouthed as he was all those years ago" Alpha said in a tone that seemed like he was groaning out from the memory
(With Naruto)
Naruto groaned as he rubbed his head as he slowly got to his feet
"Ugh that hurt." He said before looking around
He saw he was in what looked like a massive cavern. "Where the fuck am I?" He asked
He started to walk and make his way down the cavern and soon he reached the end and found himself in what looked like a large temple.
"Wow this is better than any museum dad dragged me to" Naruto said as he looked around at the different statues that filled the room each one a different animal with increasing numbers of tails one to nine
A one Tailed tanuki
A two tailed cat
A three tailed turtle
A four tailed ape
A five tailed dolphin, horse thing? He'd circle back to that one
A six tailed slug
A seven tailed flying beetle
An eight tailed ox octopus hybrid? Ok He'd come back to that one as well
And in the middle of the temple was what looked like a nine Tailed fox
What stood out most was that in front of the fox statue was a large plinth with what looked like a gold coin with a fox on it embedded into the plinth.
Naruto went up to inspect it and felt the urge to take it and reached out to touch the plinth. The second his hand touched the plinth it suddenly started to glow bright orange. Carvings embedded into it glowing as if they were on fire. Naruto in shock stepped back as suddenly the coin to his eyes suddenly started to float off the plinth. Glowing orange and gold as it suddenly shot towards him. Slapping into him and suddenly the room flashed with bright orange light as what sounded like a large roar was heard.
The roar shook the cavern. And the city. And the planet. And even moving further beyond as a pulse was felt by many, many, many people
(on the moon)
The pulse of energy that shot out of the temple soon made its way to the moon making Rita's palace shake as the roar was heard even on the moon..
Rita froze in shock at hearing this along with Squat, Baboo, and Finster. Rita even dropping her magic wand
"Kurama's out!" Rita yelled out in a panic as he paled at what she just felt, something she hadn't felt since she was sealed away
"Call Scorpina and Goldar! They don't stand a chance!" Finster yelled in a panic joining his empress
"We're all gonna die!" Squat and Baboo yelled in a panic as they ran around wildly. Freaking out until the two collided with each other
(Angel Grove Park)
In Angel Grove Park there was a battle going on between the power rangers and goldar and Scorpina along with their putty patrol soldiers. Suddenly the battle came to a halt as the ground shook and a massive roar was heard.
Goldar paused in his charge at Tommy who was morphed into the green ranger as he heard the all too familiar roar
"What is this?" Tommy asked as he lost his footing due to the ground shaking. Not only him all the rangers had fallen to their knees losing their balance as well as Scorpina and the putties.
"No! Not him!" Goldar yelled with wide eyes
"Who let him out?!" Scorpina yelled as she regained her balance. Recognizing the roar and what caused it.
Or rather who.
"What are you two talking about?!" Jason demanded as him and the other rangers huddled together once the shaking stopped
"We will settle this later! we must leave to make plans for-" Goldar yelled intending for him and Scorpina to bravely run the hell away.
Suddenly an orange beam of light appeared behind Goldar as Naruto suddenly appeared.
"A human?" Scorpina questioned confused
"So you're the ones he mentioned huh?" Naruto asked as he looked at Goldar and Scorpina with critical eyes
"Putties attack!" Goldar yelled as he jumped back from Naruto
"Get out of here!" Trini yelled
Naruto smirked as he held up what looked like a belt buckle with the fox coin he found earlier in the center
"He already explained it to me so don't think I'm powerless. Now let's dance you freaks! It's morphin time!" Naruto yelled as he held up the buckle "Kitsune Power!"
In a flash of orange light Naruto morphed into his own ranger suit as the ground around him suddenly shattered from the shockwave of the morph.
His suit was styled like the other rangers only his was orange and his helmet was a fox styled helmet with large fox ears protruding from the top. What really stood out was that the fingers of his gloves had claws on them and his boots had what looked like a single blade protruding out from the toes as well. On his belt was a single orange colored ball
"Another ranger?" Billy asked surprised at this as he held his Lance at the ready
"He found a new host!" Scorpina yelled terrified as she readied her Scorpion blade
"Let's get feral boys and girls!" Naruto yelled before in a burst of speed he rushed at the group of putties. Slicing one with his hand claws and it instantly fell and shattered to pieces. In another burst of speed he appeared behind another putty and stabbed it in their back. Ending that putty as well.
Two of them ran at him from behind but Naruto backflipped over the two putties and slashed them with his foot blades as he came down to land behind them. Slicing them and shattering them apart.
Another putty sent a kick at Naruto from behind as he landed but Naruto ducked under the strike and spun around as he stood up. Grabbing the putty's leg in one quick motion before lifting the putty up and slamming him onto the ground with a judo-like throw making it also shatter.
"Woah the new guy is tearing through the putties like nothing" Zack said in surprise
"This all you got?!" Naruto yelled as he rushed at 3 more putties and sliced through two with his claws before he sent a flying knee strike at the third. Ending all 3 in an instant
"Retreat!" Goldar yelled as he looked at his remaining putties
"your not going anywhere!" Naruto yelled as he suddenly disappeared and reappeared in the middle of the group of remaining putties.
All of them suddenly fell over, defeated and shattered apart as Naruto had his claws out.
"So fast!" Billy said wide eyed behind his helmet. That level of speed was insane. He couldn't even see what Naruto did
"Your next gorilla boy!" Naruto said as he punched his fist into his palm as he approached Goldar
"You already took my wings millenia ago you mad fox!" Goldar yelled as he pulled out his sword while Scorpina joined him
"As much as I'd love to see him get destroyed, our empress needs this fool. So we'll both end you fox ranger!" Scorpina growled holding her Scorpion blade out.
"Oh you two want to sword fight huh? Fine then!" Naruto said as he held up the orange ball he pulled off his belt and tossed it into the air before he held up his hand as it came back down.
"Katana of Kurama! Activate!" Naruto yelled as the ball suddenly flashed bright orange before he caught it. Turning into a dark orange hilted katana blade with an orange colored blade.
Naruto swung the blade at Goldar who blocked with his own sword as Scorpina rushed at him. Intending on stabbing him.
But before she could strike at Naruto her path was blocked by Jason and Tommy who had their sword and dagger out to block her attack
"Not so fast Scorpina!" Jason told her as he swung his blade at her
"Out of the way you pests! He'll doom us all!" Scorpina yelled before dodging a slash from Tommy's dragon dagger
Meanwhile Naruto was blocking Goldar's strikes with little effort on his part
"You may have that fox's power but you're untrained in how to use it!" Goldar roared as he sent a slash again which Naruto blocked before getting into a blade lock with the golden monster.
"Maybe so but I was still expecting a challenge. Guess he wasn't kidding when he called you pathetic." Naruto mocked him before he kicked Goldar away from him
"Time to end this," Naruto said as he held his katana up and it suddenly started to glow bright orange before the blade turned burn with flames. "Fox fire!" Naruto yelled as he dashed at Goldar
Goldar blocked but the heat from Naruto's blade heated up his and started to cut through it. As if melting his sword with their struggle.
Meanwhile Scorpina dodge rolled out of the way from a blast from Kimberly's bow before seeing Goldar's being overpowered.
"This is not worth it!" She yelled before she suddenly disappeared in a flash of light
Goldar nodded at this before he too ed disappeared
"Coward! Get back here and fight me you gaudy gold punk!" Naruto yelled out as his katana disappeared
"Yeah they tend to do that when there losing" Jason said as he and the team walked over to Naruto
"Ah man, I was hoping for a challenge!" Naruto groaned
"They will be back they always are" Billy said as he and the others approached Naruto
"I suppose. Power down" Naruto said as his suit disappeared "ugh so that's what that feels like" he muttered as he grabbed his head after demorphing
"Power down" Jason said as him and his team copied Naruto's actions and demorphed
"Huh so Kurama wasn't lying" Naruto said with a chuckle as he looked at his friends
"Kurama?" Billy asked confused before his communicator beeped
"Rangers bring the Kitsune ranger with you to the command center. We have much to discuss" Zordon ordered
"Ah that's old Z as Kurama called him?" Naruto asked with a smile
This got a chuckle from Zack at the nickname for Zordon
"We'll be right there Zordon" Billy said "you may want to grab one of us so we can teleport you in" Billy suggested to Naruto
"Sure" Naruto said as he placed a hand on Tommy's shoulder as the team vanished in colored lights
(command center)
The group of teens all appeared inside the command center
"Huh so this is your base? Not a bad setup. Computers, a robot. An alien head floating in a tube. Just missing an arcade machine" Naruto said looking around
"Ah so you're the one Hagaromo picked. You have his sense of humor" Zordon said with a smile and an amused tone
"What's going on Zordon? You never mentioned an orange ranger before" Kimberly asked confused
"Allow me to explain. Long before my arrival another ranger had fought a great evil. While he was an ally to myself and the rangers of old he was not on the team." Zordon said
"But he was an ally?" Jason asked curiously
"Oh yes. He was always loyal to his Allies. He however found information on a deadly enemy and sought to track them down before calling the other rangers. Unfortunately the moment he found said enemy they had fought. Hagoromo sealed them away but at the cost of a mortal wound." Zordon continued
"And he used his remaining strength to seal his power away correct?" Naruto asked
"Yes and no. He split his original power into 9 parts. You have found the power coin he used. It is said one worthy of the coin will find the remaining pieces of his original power." Zordon explained
Suddenly a orange fox spirit appeared on Naruto's shoulder
"Those pests I call siblings can stay buried for all I care! Especially Shukaku!" The fox spirit yelled
"Ah Kurama still yourself I see" Zordon said with a nod at the spirit
"Zordon is that you? You look different. You look like you lost your body but still look fat" Kurama mocked
"Aiyiyiyi" Alpha 5 groaned
"Ok can we get an explanation on this guy?" Trini asked as they all looked at Kurama curiously
"I'm the spirit of old pop's main zord. When I'm not controlling it, I'm like a spirit companion. So because of this idiot holding the coin I can appear whenever I want like this." Kurama explained pointing a tail at Naruto
"Wait wait, you controlled his zord?" Zack asked with a raised eyebrow
"Fascinating" Billy said as his eyes widened at this information
"Yeah, old pops found it easier to control the zord if me and my siblings helped. Anyways I'd love to stay and chat but…. I don't really want to look at any of you anymore" Kurama said before he disappeared
"Wow rude" Kimberly said with a annoyed look
"Kurama is like that with everyone he meets. Eventually he either decides to attack you or tolerate you enough to be civil" Zordon explained
"So which did he do to you?" Naruto asked curiously
"... he attacked me" Zordon said after a moment of silence
"And you tolerate him?" Jason asked surprised at this
"That was when we met but he eventually decided if his father liked me then He'd tolerate me at the very least." Zordon explained
"... so we have a new ranger fused with a crazy fox spirit on our side now?" Zack asked looking at Naruto

"I'll make you a communicator. It'll be ready by tomorrow" Billy told him as he was able to make those things quickly after making 6 of them.
"Cool make sure it has some orange on it" Naruto said with a smile and a nod at Billy

"Ok let's all head home we had a long day today" Zack said getting nods from everyone

"Should we be worried Zordon?" Alpha 5 asked
"It will be alright Alpha. While Kurama will bring out Naruto's violent tendencies on enemies he will not make him attack others" Zordon told him
"Not that. Should we be worried on who else felt that roar and pulse of power?" Alpha asked
"Whoever shows up the rangers will deal with them in the meantime do some sweeps of the earth for locations of the other tailed beast spirits. Kurama's return and power Should have awakened them as well." Zordon told Alpha 5
(In space)
Near the planet Pluto a spaceship was slowly making its way towards earth and inside it was a woman with long, purple hair dressed in a black leather bodysuit
"Astronema you will reach earth soon" a holographic image of what looked like a humininoid made of green rocks said to the woman
"I'm aware Ecliptor" Astronema said simply
"Do you know why Dark Specter sent you to investigate earth?" Ecliptor asked
"He felt a strong pulse of power coming from this useless little planet and has seen it fit for me to prove myself by investigating it on my own. I must find this power source and bring it to him if possible or destroy it" Astronema informed him simply as she fled towards the Earth.
Soon she would fulfill her mission and please her master. Proving her loyalty to the united alliance of evil
