After the events of the Fall of Beacon overwhelm him and cause him to lash out at those around him, Jaune storms out into Mistral intent on finding somewhere to think in the silence or punch someone's head in. The way he feels, he could happily go with either. What he discovers instead is an unlikely bond with Ruby's Uncle Qrow and it sets Jaune on a new path.

4. Discontinuation Notice

Hi there everyone, I am sorry that this is not the chapter I am sure you have all been waiting for a very long time for, however I think it's time we had a talk about this fic and the direction it's going. When I first started this story I had grand ambitions for where it would go and now after reading back through the chapters, I've decided that it's not really what I want to write going forward and that means a couple of things.

Effective immediately, Stung By BumbleBy has been discontinued. This was not an easy decision to come to and judging by the quality of this fic in places, I'm sure some of you will be able to understand why I came to this conclusion. Continuing my other stories up until this point has come naturally and when I sat down to pen the next installment to this one it just didn't come to me no matter how hard I tried.

It is regrettable, BUT I know that going forward this is the best decision for me and the path I wish for my stories to take. There is a similar premise I'd like to explore in a new story unrelated to this one, but something that to me feels like it'll come across as less of a jumbled mess.

I don't have a title for the new story yet, but I'll hope you'll look forward to reading that along with my other stories that are in the process of being continued. I'll share more information on the new story soon, so I hope you'll look forward to where our adventures go next.
