Chapter 4

It had been a couple of weeks since Taisune had created and surgically attached his new arm, along with beginning his A.I. system that he had named shealia. during those days he took off from Aldera, allowing him to program the system along with develpoing more skills with his metal arm to the point it fully felt like it was a part of him once again. After getting the AI to a point he licked he began creating a couple of clothing items for him to wear on the daily, what he made a glove from a mix of rubber and triple-weaved kevlar infused with polymer solar cells, while making a new turtleneck shirt made of a cotton and single-weave kevlar, and a pair of military styled cargo pants colored black made as the same material as the turtleneck. While making finishing up the pants a feminine voice from his computer spoke up "Sir, the newest installments of data have finished being uploaded to my program, what would you like to do now?" Turning around Taisune looked at his computer looking at the icon that showed up on the screen that represented the Ai program SHEAILA. Smiling softly he looked at the screen saying "No Sheaila, that was actually the final installments for now until I get more access to hero files and documents." He turned back down to the pants looking over them making sure they was fully done Sheaila repsonds "Okay sir, but how is progress going on the arm band that allows you to talk to me when you are not here?"

Folding up the pants he finished making, he turns back towards the AI looking at the screen as he grabs the armband sitting it infront of both him and SHEAILA "I believe we are about only twenty-five to fifty percent of the way Sheaila, but with us both working together I think this will get done at a faster pace now since all other projects are done and it's the last one left to do for now."

A light hum comes from the AI "I agree sir, that now this being the last item upon the to do list of what you had on your mine we will be able to get it done a lot faster then before, how should be proceed with the programming and wiring of the armband?"

Grabbing the tools for the job Taisune lays them out on the desk as he responds to his AI companion "We will finish the wiring then begin the programming stages that will allow you to connect with it so I can talk to you when I need information or help at a splitsecond notice." Hearing the AI humming in agreement Taisune turns on music letting it play as he begins to work on the wiring slowly, making progress every hour for the next five hours until he finishes the wiring.

Speaking up Taisune says "SHEAILA, analyze the wiring." Buzzing to life the AI replies "Of course sir, beginning analyzation." As the program runs the analyzation of the wiring from it's place on the desk, Taisune gets up stretching softly while stepping out of his work area into his living room. Walking across the room he enters the small kitchen, opening up his fridgerator he grabs a bottle of water opening it up he drinks it slowly, during this moment he hears his door unlock and open, before a voice speaking up "Um, h-hello Yazamura-san are you here?" Reconizing the voice it belonged to one Fuyumi.

Groaning softly he speaks up "Yes, I am and you may come in." He walks out of the kitchen he stands there watching the woman enter into the living room, forgetting he was only wearing khaki pants and a black tank top, that showed the scars on his neck that trailed to the metal arm that was on full display. "What is it that you want, Fuyumi-san?"

Looking at him, Fuyumi gasps while pointing to his metal arm "Y-You have a new arm! When did that happen?!" After yelling that she noticed the scars that all trail to the metal plate that was imbedded over his shoulder area "Dear kami, where did those come from?"

Taisune looked at her while squinting his eyes "I know who your mother is Fuyumi, I'm surprised she hasn't told you why I live here by myself. I guess I can tell you why I have them but do you think you can handle the story, it's dark and not for those feint of heart, plus I built this arm and attached it myself." He moves the arm like he was stretching it to prove it.

Surprise was on her face not believing what she heard and seen "H-how do you know my mother, and yes I really would like to know." Taking a seat in a chair that was in the living room she waited for him to tell her his story. Taisune looks at her and sits down across from her "The red in your hair, there is only one person with that shade of red, and that's the number two pro-heroine Endeavor. So not really all that hard to figure out, but the scars on my body?" He chuckles darkly as his eyes took on a lifeless look "My own mother did that to me. Now before I tell you the full story have you heard of a villianess that was called Wendigo?" He crosses his hands infront of his mouth waiting for her response.

Gulping loudly Fuyumi speaks up "Isn't wendigo a story most heroes tell kids to keep them behaved, and your mother did that how are the two connected?" Looking into her eyes, Taisune cleared his throat before replying "The Wendigo is not some story, in truth she is real and in Tartarus for eating children, but the only difference is I called her mother before she left me scarred from being beaten and held in a dark bloody room for two years before she was caught by your mother, but before your mother could get to me... Well you see what happened right in front of you." He stretched the metal arm out "Because of what my mother did, and your mother saving me it set me on this path of making this arm, so I can take the UA entrance exams in February."

Fuyumi had covered her mouth not able to speak from hearing his story. All she could do was get up and leave, just so she could process the information she was given, but she knew one thing she will be talking to her mother to find out if what happened to him was true.

Standing up he watched Fuyumi leave right before the voice of the AI ranged out "Sir, analyzation is complete... Item is ready to begin programming." Walking into the room he looked at the armband, sliding it on he holds his arm over a scanner he had found at the beach that he fixed up. "Use the scanner to transfer begin coding and programming, SHEAILA." After speaking up he sees the scanner light up with life as the AI says "Yes sir, programming and coding is now beginning it will only take a few minutes to complete." Nodding softly Taisune sits down while keeping the armband over the scanner for few minutes, before a loud beeping signals that it is complete. Taking his arm, along with the armband away from the scanner, he watches the screen on it to come alive "Excellent. SHEAILA, I will be heading to the roof so we can test this." Standing up he puts on his turtleneck sweater on along with his gloves and boots, before heading out his apartment door and heading up to the roof.

Opening the door to the roof of the apartment complex, Taisune stood still before pulling up the left arm sleeve reveiling the armband. Tapping on the band he sees the screen light up "SHEAILA, do you hear me?" After speaking he sees a little human appear on his arm in a yellow glow (Looks like Nana Shimura if she was a AI like cortana) looking at him "Looks like the programming work if you have a small humanoid body." SHEAILA looked up at Taisune, before speaking "I can hear you sir, and yes the programming and coding have worked." Nodding with a smile he pulled the sleeve down, to see if she still shows up through his turtleneck which she did "Alright, all tests are done for the day." He looked up to the sky seeing the sun setting. "It's time to head to bed and start a new day tomorrow, and plus I need to go to school." He opens the roof door and heads back to his apartment for the day, full of hope for the future not knowing tomorrow has other plans for him and two people he is closest too.
