Chapter 3: Spending Time with Dad.
Mr. Incredible and Violet were out on the lookout for crime.
"Man, not a single crook out tonight. Maybe our patrol is just a lousy one tonight." Mr. Incredible said before he noticed Violet smiling.
"What are you so happy about, Violet?" Mr. Incredible asked.
"Nothing much. I'm just happy that we get to spend time together, Dad." Violet said.
Mr. Incredible smiled, "I'm glad to be spending time with you, too, Violet. Say, let's forget patrol since it seems to be going sleazy. Why don't we go for a drive?" he said.
"Great!" Violet said. They then went to the Incrediwagon and climbed in before they went for a drive through the city. They took it easy while they drove past several people who waved hello and several children who looked in excitement.
Soon, Violet's stomach growled.
"Sounds to me like you could use a little bite to eat. How about we stop for some ice cream?" Mr. Incredible said as he pointed to an ice cream parlor that they were in front of.
Violet recognized the parlor almost instantly. It was a parlor they hadn't gone to since she was a little girl.
"All right! I haven't had ice cream here in a long time!" Violet said as they went inside.
Once they had gotten their ice cream, cookies and cream for Violet and chocolate for Mr. Incredible, they sat down and ate.
"This really takes me back! We used to come here every day after school!" Violet said.
"Yeah, we need to again." Mr. Incredible said as they finished their cones before a bunch of kids came up to them.
"Cool, Mr. Incredible and Miss Stealth!" said a girl.
"Can we get your autograph?" a kid asked.
"Of course." Miss Stealth said before the two of them started taking pictures and signing autographs.
Afterwards, they went back on the road before they decided to head back home.
Once they walked in the front door, Violet said, "Thanks for spending time with me, Dad."
"No problem, Violet." Mr. Incredible said.
