Chapter 2: Six Years Later
"Finally, I'm a real genin now." Naruto exhausted as he walk toward Spooky's house and he think back to the last six years and all weird yet horrific events that revolve around his old class, there were more deaths after Hinata's.
Sakura died in a bizarre accident on a rainy day, he heard that she slip from the top of wet stone stairs and fall face-first into her umbrella that impale through her mouth and out of the top of her head with some brain pieces out.
Kiba got maimed to death by pack of dogs at his clan compound and Naruto don't know the details but some believe that the dogs have rabies or that these dogs are actually wild, not part of his clan pack, and were very starving.
Sasuke commit suicide, something that shocked and almost does not surprise anyone because he recently lose his family and whole clan in a massacre committed by his older brother and some people said he had a survivor's guilt and was very depressed at this time. There were no details on this one like Kiba's.
Ino was involved in a freaky accident, there was a jonin that practiced a explosive fuinjutsu in a weapon store and did something wrong that triggered the explosive few moments before Ino enter the store. Ino actually survived the explosion when it fling her out through the widow with cuts and some glasses piece in her body…Only for few seconds before a falling heavy plant pot crash her head, caving it immediately.
Mizuki was found dead by his fiance, hanging on a doorknob with his pant down and adult magazine in his hand. This part always confused Naruto, why would someone hang themselves to door with pant down? What's the point of that?!
'And people start to call my class the Cursed Class.' The blonde scratched his head until he reach the haunted house and he examine it, it barely have change at all as he walk inside.
"BOO!" Spooky poke her head out through the wall next to his face and Naruto let out an high-pitched scream as his back hit the wall opposite of the laughing ghost.
"G-G-G-G-Goddammit, S-S-S-Spooky!" Naruto panted with hand on his chest, "Y-Y-Y-You almost g-g-give me a h-h-h-heart attack!" He glared at the giggling ghost, he find it strange that she can grow up like he does and appear to be twelve or thirteen. Yet her hair and face remain same.
"Drat, so close." The ghost snapped her fingers with a giggle, "Because if you died, you can stay with me for the eternity."
"I-I-I don't want to die t-t-that young…" He tried to calm his pounding heart down.
"So how did you do with your real exam?" Spooky clapped her hands, of course she already knows the results by watching him from distance but she won't let her beloved know that.
"We passed." Naruto replied with some deep breathes, "Now I'm officially genin with Shikamaru and Shino."
"Ah, congrats!" The ghost floated around him with a cheer, "I'm glad you're on a team with these two, I like them." Naruto's teammates know when to stay out of each other's business and does not get involved until it's for training or mission…That and Spooky already take care of some of his classmates permanently.
Spooky murdered Sakura and Ino because Naruto develop a crush on the pinkette so she took her out two days later and Ino was start to harboring a feeling for the blonde boy, which Spooky can't have it. All the ghost did was scared this jonin into making a fatal mistake and thought the blast would kill this blonde girl right off but nope! She survived so Spooky have to push this pot off. It's good thing that people assume the falling pot was the result of the explosive's shockwave.
Kiba was killed off because he was trying to bully Naruto and say something no-no to him. Sasuke, kami, Spooky really hate this asshole! Acting like he's the best thing and kept making her Naruto look so bad, he even have everyone call the blonde a deadlast and dobe! Her Naruto is not a dobe! It was so easy to get rid of this dick in his sleep, she's not going to waste her time on this guy.
Mizuki…This bitch was a fucking asshole, he was trying to ruin Naruto's future for months! Spooky decided to ruin his life by stage his death in an embarrassing way with an adult magazine that involve a lot of taboo, something that the shinobi have no choice but to mark Mizuki down as a traitor and don't give him a marked grave because it's really worst than anyone think. Well, who's laughing now? Haha!
"You look like y-y-you're in a really good m-m-mood." Naruto commented as he watched his ghost friend laughing like a mad woman, he still can't get over his phobia of ghosts. Spooky and most of her fellow monsters still scare the shit out of him, even if he know that they can't harm him.
"Of course I am!" Spooky spun to him, "You're here and you're a genin now, like what you always want to be! I'm happy for you." The blonde uttered 'thanks' to her before she grab his wrist then pull him up the stairs as the boy yelp out in mixed of fright and surprise, "Follow me! I got you something and I think you'll love it!"
"W-What is it?" He asked.
"That's a secret." The ghost giggled and the boy hope it's not something scary. They went through many rooms and Naruto notice a bloodied figure wander around while dragging an ax on ground with noises.
"New guy?" He asked Spooky.
"Kinda, he's been around for couple years." Spooky replied, "He reached the final room and would have make it out if he haven't swing ax everywhere too many times. Now he's doomed to wander room to room, searching for victims to hack." She looked at Naruto over her shoulder with a sweet smile, "Don't worry, he won't touch a hair on you. I made sure of that."
"T-T-Thank, I think?" Naruto muttered and they keep moving though rooms until they reach a hidden room that he haven't seen before. "W-What is this place?" He looked around at the surrounding, it appear to be a very large room with many shelves, filled with scrolls, desk, drawers, bed, bathroom, closet and many more. Only one thing missing from this room is the windows.
"It's your room!" The ghost lift her arms up in air proudly, "And I fill the shelves up with all jutsu from around the continent! From basic to forbidden, taijutsu to genjutsu, you name it, we have it!" Spooky have been putting a lot of work in this one because she have been stealing all of those jutsu scrolls with aid of her ghostly army, her dear Naruto want to learn all jutsu to be badass hokage and she's going to help him…And to take a place in his heart!
"Really?!" The blonde's eyes lit up at the jutsu and he grab the nearby scroll to read it, kage bunshin sound pretty sweet instead of this stupid normal bunshin. He almost failed because of this crappy bunshin! He quickly realize something else, "…Wait…Did you say…My room?"
"Yup!" Spooky nodded, "You always complain about your no-good landlord because he keep overcharge you and that you don't think you can afford rent in few months…" She gestured to the room, "You can move in and live here, free of charge! No more rents! You and me together forever."
"Oh, that's nice of you…" Naruto gulped, "But…What about the ghosts?" He looked at the door frighteningly.
"Ah, they won't be able to come inside." The blue ghost fly over to the door, opening it and she poke her head out to look around for something until she spot Specimen Two wander around. "Goopy! Get over here!" Spooky waved the creature over, "Come inside Naruto's room!" The goopy phantom shake its head out of fear, "Come on, get in here." The phantom keep shaking its head with trembles, "…I SAID GET IN HERE, GOOPY." Spooky said with sweet smile and glowing red dots in her eyes, causing the goopy phantom to sweat heavily with trembling body as it slowly float toward Naruto's room as if it's heading to its death. The very moment Specimen Two reach the doorway, it suddenly burst up in flame and the phantom zoom away from the room with a shriek to darkness as it flailing its good arm around. "See that?" Spooky turned back to the human happily as the boy gaped at the sight with widened eyes, "No monster can get inside your room or they'll suffer in painful way. Only I can come in."
"Um, now seeing that…" Naruto chewed his lower lip in deep thought for a while, "I guess I'll take up on your offer." He don't see any harm in moving into the haunted house and be with his best friend…Yup, it's kinda sad that his only friend is a ghost girl who love to terrorize the daylight out of him at every chances she get.
"YAY!" Spooky glomped him to the ground as it knock the wind out of the poor boy, "You won't regret it!"
"I might, a bit…" He whispered under his breath with a gulp, it's kinda scary that the ghost that snuggle up on him can touch him physically whenever she want.
Spooky poke her head down through the ceiling to stare at Naruto as he pack things into his backpack, "What are you doing, Naruto?"
"WAAAAAH!" Naruto trembled down on floor from startle before he look up to her with heavy pants while still lying, "W-W-W-Why are y-you up there, S-Spooky?!"
"I was coming down after watching Deer Lord taking care of few intruders." Spooky floated down.
"Did you kick them out?" He asked, wonder why people keep coming into the haunted house.
"…Yes." She replied, technically she have the corpses kicked out of the house to be used as fertilizer for yard. "What are you doing?"
"Oh, I'm packing for my mission out Konohagakure." Naruto said and the ghost pause.
"…For how long?" Many things went through her mind and she don't like it a bit, "And when?"
"Kakashi said it'll take about two weeks and we're leaving in two days." He replied.
'T-T-Two weeks?!' Spooky become frantic inside, two weeks without her Naruto?! That have to be some sicko nightmare…What if he catch some girl's eyes and he accept her in a heartbeat because she's a human?! No, no, no, no, nonononononono! Something come to her mind and she decide to take action. There was a loud clicking.
"Hey, why did you lock the door?" Naruto looked up at the direction of the sound before he turn to face Spooky up close nose to nose, causing him to yelp out.
"I'm locking you in and I won't let you leave until you meet one condition." Spooky spoke very calmly.
"Um, w-which is…?" He gulped nervously.
"Be my boyfriend." She said and the blonde blinked rapidly at her for a while.
"…Okay?" Naruto's mouth just move on its own and he snapped his jaw closed with widened eyes, did he just agreed to it?!
"YAAAAAAY!" Spooky glomped him in a tight hug, "You're mine now! Mine, mine, mine!"
"C-Can you please unlock the door?" He asked in daze as the clicking can be heard, "A-And let me go?"
"Nope, I'm not going to let you go." She nuzzled her face into his chest…Actually, her face is inside his chest.
'How do I go from a normal person to a guy that has a ghost for girlfriend?' Naruto looked up to the ceiling with some cold sweats. It'll be fine, right? Right?
"Naruto's my boyfriend, Naruto's my boyfriend, Naruto's my boyfriend!" Spooky was in a very high spirit as she twirl around in her private room, she have been acting like that for a while after saying good-bye to her boyfriend. She nearly squeal at the 'boyfriend' work before she pick up a giant Naruto plushie, hugging it together. "Ah, I miss you, Naruto." She take a deep whiff of her homemade plushie, it wear Naruto's old clothes that he 'misplaced' and its hair is actually collected from his falling-out hair. It also carry vials of Naruto's fluids inside…What? She can't let these sweet blood and sweats go wasted when Naruto come back from his training and she work so hard for tears…Ah, it taste so sweet every time she drink his tears. Spooky squeezed her doll hard with a fit of giggles, not bother to go and greet new intruders. Nope, she'll have some random monsters take care of them since she don't want anything to spoil her mood.
"I'm back!" Naruto called out as soon as he walk into the haunted house and…
"Welcome back, my dear!" Spooky zoomed up to him, tackling him down in process and she mash their lips together as the boy's eyes widened with flailing arms. How is it possible for her to kiss him?! The ghost shove her tongue down his throat and the blonde swear that he saw some blue hearts floating up in air but he must be hallucinating before she break their kiss apart to nuzzle her nose in his chest while taking a lot of whiff of his scent. "How was your mission? Do you get days off? Can we go on a date?" She kept throwing questions at him.
"T-T-The mission was fine, I-I whoop some asses…" Naruto stuttered, "K-Kakashi said we have three days off, starting today…A-A-And date? Where?"
"Here, silly." The ghost giggled, "To be more exact, in the kitchen. I whip a lot of ramen up for you!"
"…Ramen? Then why are we still here?!" He asked, the love of ramen overcome everything else.
"Follow me!" Spooky lead him to the certain direction, "Why don't you tell me all details about your mission? I want to hear it all down to tiny thing."
"Alright, it's an escort to Wave and…" Naruto start to tell her about his mission.
And that end the second chapter of DC!
We have a time jump and jjust found out that few more people were murdered by Spooky without his knowledge, at same time we also saw how crazy she is for her dear Naruto. Yikes.
Who will Spooky kill next or will there be no victims? How close will Naruto and Spooky get, now that they're together? What will we see next? What'll happen next? Let's find out in next chapter!
