Aged up alternate universe where Nick experiences male pattern balding, and all the associated emotions that accompany this exerience.

Nick, 18, is at university. Charlie, 16, is still at Truham. They talk every day and Charlie mentions that he only has one sweater left that smells of him. Cue - 3rd December Nick turns up on Charlie's doorstep with more sweaters that smell of him.

He doesn't know why he's so nervous about it—why his stomach keeps doing flips every time Charlie looks at him for the rest of form. Then again, he and Charlie have never slept over at each other's houses before. That, and Nick hasn't seen Charlie outside of school since he started researching his sexuality.

Set after the events of Nick and Charlie the novella and the Heartstopper graphic novels, finds Nick and Charlie struggling to make long distance work while Nick is away at college.
