AN: This one took a while, it's on the shorter side, probably but it's kind of an important one so I tried to make it feel important.

Fury: Holocom Room

After a few hour nap, Kuro and Kory awoke to the soothing motions of the ship in Hyperspace. The two greeted each other with groggy voices and happy smiles. Kory went off to take a quick shower, always hating how gross she felt after sleeping, even if it was a nap. Kuro left their room and stepped up to the holocom terminal and called her mother's.

They answered quickly which always made Kuro smile. "Kuro, sweetling. How are you?" Zash asked, her hair also in disarray much like Kory's. They must have woken up as well. Kanna and Kuro looked picture perfect after sleeping, not having hair to tame after a nap.

"I'm great, mama!" Kuro exclaimed. "Had a great nap!" She left unsaid why that was but couldn't help but smile, she could still feel Ashara's touch. She did feel bad for not telling her mothers about the Togruta. But her love life was just that. Hers. Besides, her mothers would meet her soon enough.

"That is great to hear, my little one." Kanna smiled, laying her head against Zash. "Are you on your way to Alderaan?"

Kuro blinked. "Um…well, yes. But about that. I was thinking of making a slight detour." She began, thinking over what to say. Kuroki couldn't take it anymore. She knew where Ashara was, knew she was real. She had to go to her. No one, not even her mothers would stop her. "I have something I need to do." Kuro smiled at her mother, hoping they wouldn't question her.

Zash and Kanna looked at each other for a moment. "Sweetling. What is more important than gathering the means to take down skotia?" Zash asked gently.

Her smile slowly fell from her lips, it was smaller now and she looked down. Kuro knew the question would come, she just wished it didn't. She didn't want to lie to her mothers, but she didn't want to mention Ashara either. Especially since she was a Jedi. "It's important, mama. To me."

"I understand, Kuro. But perhaps it can wait until you have everything you need to fight Skotia. He is a great risk. Not only to you, but us as well, sweetling. I feel it best to take care of this first." Zash advised cautiously, slowly. She remembered how powerful Kuro was and she hoped she would listen.

The smile was gone now, but she didn't look angry. "I understand, mama." She acquiesced. She bowed her head. When it rose up again the happy smile was back. "We are on the way to Alderaan and I will have the tablet quickly." She looked off to the side, seeing Kory coming out of their room in her warrior garb and grinned. "Oh Kory's done. I have to go. I will talk to you soon, mommy, mama!" She waved and smiled, her mothers returning the gesture before the line went silent.

As soon as she was off holocom, Kuro's smile disappeared. A sad frown replacing it as she left for the cockpit. Kory followed, confused at the sudden change of demeanor. "Hey, sis. What's wrong?"

"Taking a detour. We're going to Taris." She glanced behind her as she input the coordinates. A desperate look on her face. "Please, Kory. I need her."

It took a moment for Kory to understand who she meant. But soon it all clicked. Kuro needed her Force-mate Ashara. She lied to her mothers and it upset her. Kory sighed but smiled sadly and hugged her sister tightly. "You'll hear no complaints from me, big sis. Let's go get your girl. And don't worry so much about our mom's. They'll understand. Though, you should just tell them the reason."

Kuro giggled and hugged her sister in return, the smile returned. She was so glad Kory understood her. "Thank you, Kory. I'm so lucky to have you as a sister. And it's not a big deal, it'll be quick, they won't even know."

The human laughed. "Not as lucky as I am to have you as a sister." She retorted with a smirk. Kuro giggled and the two shared a comforting laugh. The two sat down in the cockpit to monitor the systems, smiles on their faces.

Ashara, I'm coming. I'm sorry it took so long. I hope to see you soon. Kuro thought to the universe. Finally, she was going to see her in the flesh…by the Force she was going to see her in person! A look of nervous dread washed over her face.

Kory guffawed at the look Kuro gave her at this realization. A look of nervous fear and anxiety. "Finally realized it, did you?" Kory managed to say between her laughter. "It's not going to be in your mind anymore, dear sister. It's all gonna be real." She added with a grin. The human knew that her older sister was screwed, she didn't know the first thing about relationships, her dreamscape advantage notwithstanding, and all she could do was laugh.

Taris: Republic Outpost

Ashara had never felt so free and relaxed outside her dreamscape than she did right now. Being with Shi'ara was always a blessing in itself, but being away from the Jedi Enclave in the nearby Republic town with her was even more so.

The pair of Jedi were eating in a cantina near the Republic spaceport, and otherwise just enjoying each other's company. Ashara learned rather quickly that Shi'ara never really talked about herself, and she was curious about the Barsen'thor. However she decided not to press. Shi'ara seemed to enjoy being mysterious and perhaps the only one who would get to know her deeply would be her Force-mate.

"Thank you, Shi'ara." The togruta said, after they were finished eating and set off to the lounge area.

"My, whatever for?" Shi'ara asked, though already knowing the answer.

"For getting me away from the Jedi Enclave. I guess I just needed a break." She replied, looking at the band playing in the cantina. Thankfully it was a soft and lyrical piece and not the annoying music she normally hears that seemed to play in every cantina ever.

Shi'ara giggled and smiled at the younger woman. "Why, I have no idea what you mean. We are just two friends having a night out."

Ashara blushed at the smile she was being given. From an outside perspective it would look very much like a lover's gaze, but of course Ashara knew better. Still she smiled back. "Right, that." She giggled along and the pair fell silent for a time, just enjoying the company and cantina music.

It came as no surprise to Ashara when several people chose that time to approach the regal looking Jedi. Whatever it was they were asking, Ashara tried to tune it out. She didn't want to impose and knew first hand what it was like to seek advice from the Barsen'thor. Eventually Shi'ara spoke to her. "My apologies, Ashara. I must help these people for a time. If that is alright?"

The togruta just grinned. "You don't need my permission, Shi'ara." She nodded and playfully shooed her away. "But it's fine. Go on, be all helpful and mysterious."

The human goddess smiled back with a twinkle in her eye as she kissed Ashara's forehead. "I will come back later and we can return to the Enclave." The togruta nodded and the human left with an entourage.

Ashara sighed. Alone again. She was used to it but it didn't get any less depressing. She hated being alone. She closed her eyes, intent on just relaxing and clearing her mind when a sudden voice got her attention. "Ashara!" She looked up, recognizing the voice. At the entrance to the cantina was Aya and Kira, big smiles and waving as they hustled over to her. Following them was a hooded figure with a brown cloak, black pants and boots. Ashara couldn't see the face but she had a strange feeling about this figure.

The togruta smiled at her friends and met them halfway, hugging them both tightly. "Aya, Kira! So good to see you! What are you doing here?"

"We have business on Taris. But look who we ran into." Aya said, gesturing to the hooded figure. "She was trying to sneak in because, you know, she's a Sith." Aya smirked at the confused look on Ashara's face.

The figure, a Sith, looked up, removed her hood and smiled broadly, finally seeing Ashara for the first time in person. "H-hey, Ashara." She greeted shyly, giving a little wave, not sure how to act in the flesh.

Ashara could only stand in stunned silence. "K-Kuro?" She asked. It had to be her. The red skin with black tribal markings, the purple eyes, the short figure. It had to be. So why did she think she was seeing things?

Kuro blushed at her name coming from her lover's lips. She giggled bashfully. "It's me. I…finished what I needed to on Balmorra. I need to go somewhere else still, but I couldn't take it anymore. I had to come to you." Feeling braver, she stepped forward, reaching out to grab Ashara's hands. "Mommy and Mama won't be happy, but I don't care. I need you."

Ashara slowly came out of her shock, and gripped Kuro's hands. They were on fire and she could feel her heart swelling at the feel of them. Finally, after all this time they were together. Her visions didn't do the feeling justice. "Kuro. It's…I…" Instead of words, Ashara threw caution to the wind and pulled the small Sith into a tight, almost bone crushing hug. There was not a single inch of their bodies not touching in some way. "Kuro." She cried. "I love you."

Kuro returned the hug just as tightly, tears stinging her face. She knew how stupid she was being, how dangerous this was. It was pure luck she ran into Aya and Kira, but she was very glad she did. Despite how upset her parents would be, despite the danger of being identified as Sith and attacked, Kuro had not hesitated in coming for Ashara. "Mm, I love you too." She declared in return.

Aya and Kira watched on, resisting the urge to coo and fawn over the pair on Aya's part, and resisting the urge to tease on Kira's. These two were one sugar overdose too many.

Before long, the two calmed down to giggle and smile at each other, wiping tears from each other's eyes. The first thing Kuro did was reach over and take Ashara's lekku into her hand, and wrapped it around her own. Smiling shyly at her taller lover. Ashara's heart melted and swooned at the gesture she had done so many times in their dreamscape. "I have no right to presume or ask but…will you come with me?"

Ashara didn't even hesitate. "Of course. There is nowhere I would rather be. I just need to gather my things from the Enclave and we can go."

The twi'lek frowned in thought. "Won't they try to stop you? Coming with a Sith and all. Not to mention you would basically be abandoning your training and masters. I don't want to put that kind of pressure on you."

She giggled. The Jedi cupped her lover's cheeks and leaned down to kiss them into silence. "That's sweet, but there is nothing in this universe that matters more to me than being with you. I am grateful for the training I've had. But they won't stop me. They can't stop me. If I can't be with you then I would rather not continue living."

Blushing heavily at the kiss in a public place and the heartfelt confession, Kuro giggled like a little girl, ducking her head. "Now who's being pessimistic? That's my job." Kuro smiled, indicating their earlier talk of Kuro's suicidal notion. Ashara only smiled back. "T-thank you, Ashara. Um, shall I come with you?"

"That's comforting, darling. But I don't think that would be a good idea." She gestured between them with a teasing smile. "Sith, Jedi. Mortal enemies remember?" The pair laughed together, resting their foreheads against one another. The loving stare filling their hearts with a pure joy that not many got to feel.

"Ok, break it up, you two. Keep going like this and we won't get anywhere." Kira couldn't take it anymore and she literally pushed between the two with a smirk to hopefully ease any tension. "Hey, Si…uh Kuro. Aya and I will escort your girl back to the Enclave and get her things. Meet us where we found you, yeah?"

Kuro pouted with a playful glare directed at the human Jedi. "Yeah, yeah. I can't sneak to save my life." The Sith rolled her eyes, and reluctantly let herself get separated. She was internally surprised at how much pain that caused. Her heart felt empty. The look on Ashara's face told her that she felt the same, but she didn't mention it and asked. "How did you find me anyway? The Force cloaking is supposed to be invisible to the naked eye as well as the mind. I should've been virtually non-existent to anyones senses."

Aya smirked and looked at Ashara and winked. The togruta rolled her eyes, though she was smiling and asked. "Shi'ara?" It became clear why Shi'ara brought her here, why she was acting so mysterious…again, and how upbeat and happy she was. Ashara's love for her friend became stronger. She really had to think of something to pay her back for all the help she had received from the Barsen'thor.

"Shi'ara." Aya confirmed with a smirk. "She knew where Kuro was going to be, when and what she was planning on doing. She contacted us and we came straight here to get you two together."

"Yep, and sure enough we cornered her in, like a little kitten. Right, midget?" Kira added a smirk on her lips.

The trio laughed, Kuro pouted, just making her look all the more cute. While her friends were more amused, Ashara looked at her Sith with the most love gaze Kuro had ever received next to her mother. Still she huffed at the cooing, fawning and laughing of the three and stomped away, playing it up. There was no way any of them could have harmful feelings right now. Ashara and Kuro would finally be together.

Taris: Jedi Enclave

"What do you mean, 'I can't go'?" Ashara asked, incredulous, her fists clenching. This was unbelievable. How much longer were they going to treat her like a child and a weakling?

Ashara, Aya and Kira had returned to the Jedi Enclave to inform the Masters that she was leaving. To their surprise, Jedi Master Ryen and Jedi Master Ocera forbade it. The only sound was water trickling down the man made waterfalls in the meditation chamber of the Jedi Enclave. It would have been serene if not for the tension in the air, so thick it was suffocating. "Your training is not yet complete. You will not go." Master Ryen reiterated.

The togruta's fists clenched and she grit her teeth. The anger in her eyes was palpable and Aya knew she had to interject before Ashara did something she would regret. She always was a hot-head. "Master's I have to disagree. She is ready to-"

"She is not ready. She is impatient, quick to anger, rebellious, aggressive, and lacks empathy. She is skilled with the lightsaber forms, yes. But her training is not complete." Master Orcera interjected in return.

The pair of Masters looked so emotionless. No anger or disappointment, but neither kindness or care. It was this lack of seeing the good qualities in Ashara that fully cemented what Shi'ara had taught the three younger Jedi about. The Jedi are good and have many wondrous teachings to spread. However it is an extreme, just as the Sith are an extreme of negativity. Neither are a path that should be followed exclusively.

"I'm going. With or without your permission, and if you want to prove the Jedi code wrong. You are welcome to try and stop me." Ashara declared, standing to her full height and starting her Master's down. She was a better warrior than any Jedi she had fought with, only second to Aya herself.

The change in the air was instant, and it felt like to all assembled that it would come to blows. Then like an angel sent from the heavens, footsteps were heard coming towards them. The group glanced over to see Shi'ara entering the room. The Masters had more training in keeping their emotions in check, but the younger women were more affected by her presence. "Oh my, whatever is going on here, my dears?" She asked the group with a smile. Despite being younger than the Master's she held much more power and respect.

"Shi'ara…" The togruta breathed, trying to keep from crying. She was almost free. Free to be with Kuro and actually be happy and live. But there always had to be an obstacle. "I need to go." She pleaded, hoping the Barsen'thor was on her side.

The blonde goddess smiled with her utmost love at the togruta girl and walked over to her, taking her in her arms and hugging her to her breast. "Shh, no need for tears, Ashara." She soothed, rubbing her back. She pulled away and turned to the Master's. "I am very confused, Masters, as to why you continue to doubt and hold our dear Ashara back from her true potential."

Those were not the words the Master's were expecting, and the shock of them finally put some emotion on their faces. "Holding her back? All our students are important, we would never do such a thing." Master Ryen objected slowly, as if he was unsure if they had done so or not.

The Barsen'thor sauntered over to them. "Oh may, but you have." She said gently and with care. "You continue to doubt her abilities, confine her to the Jedi Enclave because her ancestor is here who happens to have turned to the dark side, you do not let her out of your sight and continue to tell her how dangerous anything she does is." She sighed sadly, frowning in disappointment. "It has only gotten worse. You have seen her anger, her resentment in this treatment. In your fear of her turning to the dark side like her ancestor before her, you have tried to control her, and only pushed her further to the dark side quicker than ever. You know, deep inside, that her training has been complete for years now."

The more she spoke, the more truth was revealed. The Master's were not even aware they were doing such a thing. In their desire to protect their student and guide her to the Light they had only confined her, limited her and made things worse. Shaken, the two bowed her heads in shame. "We…we had no idea. Clearly we, too, have more to learn." Master Ocera said. Master Ryen was too pained to even speak. He gained Ashara's attention. "Dear, Ashara. We humbly apologize that we could not see your pain, and that we could not help you."

Ashara was stupefied. Shi'ara had just talked down two masters, but taught them something in return. Not once did she say anything harmful, negative or hindering. It was no wonder she was the Barsen'thor. "It…it's okay, Masters. I…I should have come to you about my concerns as well. I never expressed them in detail. I'm sorry. You both have taught me a lot and for that I thank you from the bottom of my heart. So much of what you taught me has inspired me to do good." The togruta made her way over to them, hugging them. "If there is one thing I've learned from Shi'ara. Emotions are not a danger, it's how you handle them. Even Jedi are not immune to this. Thank you for teaching me your way, but now I need to live mine."

Fury: Docking Bay

Aya, Ashara and Kira meet up with Kuro once again. The two remaining Jedi hugged their togruta friend. Though teary-eyed they were happy. "It was good to see you again, Ashara. You too Sith." Aya smirked, peeking at Kuro's reaction. Worth it.

Kuro pouted. "I told you Ayaya, call me Kuroooo." She whined. Aya found it cute from the otherwise very dangerous Sith. She couldn't but coo and swept her up in a tight hug. The taller twi'lek Jedi lifted her effortlessly. She ignored the fact that the Sith gave her a nickname as well, she did find it cute however.

Ashara giggled. "Alright, Aya. Give me back my girl, please." She teased. Aya let her go and Ashara caught her out of breath Force-mate. It felt so wonderful to even touch her and it filled her with a sense of euphoria nothing else ever could. "We should be going, it was so good to see you two. Thank you. So much for everything."

"Of course, Ash. You're our friend, we'd do anything for you. As you would for us." Kira responded, clapping her friends back. "We should get together after some time and catch up."

Kuro nodded. "I would like that. I'm sure Kory would too. Speaking of her, I can't wait for you to meet her, Ashara." Kuro said, bouncing in place. Her family was complete now. She had her Force-mate, Kory, and her mothers. It was perfect.

The two pairs went their separate ways and finally Ashara and Kuro were alone. Kuro didn't hesitate to plant herself in Ashara's bosom and hug her tight. "I'm sure you can relate to just how happy I am right now." She said into her chest.

The togruta giggled, holding her close. "I can, yes. The universe finally feels like there is color, brighter even. For the longest time, the Jedi was everything I knew, and all I ever wanted. But once I came to realize my love for you…nothing could even touch the desire to be with you. Thank you, Kuro for coming for me. I love you so much."

Kuro's eyes filled with tears and she pulled back just enough to stand on her toes to kiss her Force-mate. "I'll have you know I defied my Mothers and put them at risk to come get you. And as much as I love them and would do anything to keep them safe…I wouldn't hesitate to do it again. I love you, Ashara." It was the togruta's turn to cry and the two returned to their loving embrace. Their universes filled with life once again.

AN: Hope you all enjoyed it.
