The AI Who Lived Chapter 2: The Sonic Frontiers Arc Begins
beginning AN: for anyone who says that Dr. Eggman's machinery can't handle magic due to magic not being compatible with technology the let's bring the Chaos Emeralds into the discussion since they are seven mystical gems that have seemingly limitless power and have been harnessed by Dr. Eggman's inventions before like his laser cannon that woke up Dark Gaia in Sonic Unleashed for example so his technology can handle magic.
for the chapters going forward until the end of the Sonic Frontiers Arc picture the main theme I'm Here as the opening song to this story and credit for it goes to the musicians who put their hard work into making it as good as it is.
Sonic, Tails and Amy are flying to the Starfall Islands Tails because Tails machinery sensing that the Chaos Emeralds were drawn there. and before they knew what hit them they were sucked through a portal and transported to Cyberspace and while Tails and Amy are stuck there Sonic finds a way out because he is transported to Green Hill Zone which he clears in record time.
he escapes Cyberspace and he's told by a voice that's nowhere to be seen to "destroy the titans and bring down the walls between dimensions" and so with an objective in mind that could help him save his friends he's started exploring the first Island which is called Kronos Island.
while exploring he finds heart shaped objects that glow pink called memory tokens and collects them and after a few minor fights and a couple fights with robots called Guardians he's collected two gears called Portal keys which he uses on throne-like structures and he's sent back to Cyberspace but this time he's sent to Sky Sanctuary which he completes in record time. and the path to the first Chaos Emerald is created and after a bit of platforming he reaches the first Chaos Emerald and grabs it. he then explores some more fighting any Guardian he comes across and collects more memory tokens after doing a lot of challenges that vary in the way they're done and he collects three more Chaos Emeralds and he spots Amy is some kind of bubble which he uses the memory tokens he's been collecting and frees her. they then help a local called a Koco return to its one true love and are given the fifth chaos emerald and they then pull some weeds which when it's done they find the sixth Chaos Emerald.
they then do an irritating puzzle where three towers with glowing lights need to line up with the patches of dirt on the ground around them in a specific way but they figure it out and Sonic heads off to fight the first Titan called Giganto and the last Chaos Emerald is on his head which Sonic climbs to and claims the final Chaos Emerald and turns to Super Sonic.

as Super Sonic all of Sonic's abilities have been given a power boost including the new ones he's learned while exploring and his speed is taken to greater heights than normal and he's invulnerable but he can lose his Super form if he runs out of rings which doesn't happen because while Giganto does give a good fight Sonic's unrelenting attacks take it down after a long and drawn out fight.
Amy comes to Sonic and he notices that Amy isn't back to normal yet and so he says "I'm Sorry Amy I guess I need to take down all the big bots before this is over." and Amy says "Hurry Up and do it Sonic." and he responds with "Don't worry Amy I'll be back before you can do a fortune card reading see ya." and he flies off to the next Island not knowing that his friendly rival Knuckles has been dragged into this mess as well.
meanwhile
Sage has been observing Sonic the entire time but hasn't decided when to show herself to him and whenever She's in Cyberspace she's been bonding with Dr. Eggman and he's pleased with how good she's at her job while being a little mad that she hasn't found a concrete way out of Cyberspace.
ending AN: before anyone gets on my case about skipping important dialogue let's just assume that like the game all of the previously seen character development in past games is brought up and Sonic's friends learn from the reminder of everything they've been through.
next time: Sonic arrives to Ares Island and is shot out of the sky like in canon finds Knuckles and collects the Chaos Emeralds again to fight the second titan.
