Note: It has been a couple years since I've updated The Clone Uprising. This fanfiction was a hobby project of mine back when I was in secondary school, but I'm currently attending college now. Lots of things have happened since then, such as the recent release of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. After some thought, I plan on remaking "A Clone Uprising" as there are many changes that I would like to make in order to make this more coherent and plausible. It will be a reimagining of what I originally planned to do with this story and I hope to actually turn it into a completed story. On top of "A Clone Uprising", I will also be writing my own version of the "sequel trilogy" that I've already outlined and will be much more excited to write than this clone rebellion story. I hope to be able to get both stories available to read as soon as possible. I also want to point out that there will be less of a focus on dialogue which was one of the weaknesses in my original writing.

Please be patient and continue to support my stories when I release them in the near future. As for now, this will be the 'last chapter' of the original "A Clone Uprising."

"The Beverend has been caught in a three way battle! In order to fight this common enemy, both the crew of the Tantive IV and the Beverend must work together in order to defeat the Imperial threat that looms over them. A plan has been devised in order to board the Imperial Destroyers and disable the gravity well generators. Should they be successful, both the rebel fleet and the republic remnant should be able to escape their foes. The success of their mission will depend on the coordination and teamwork of these two unlikely allies."

Beverend Hangar Bay:

The planning stages of the assault were finally complete. The rebel fleet would board one of the Interdictors while the Beverend's boarding party would attack the other. Time was not on their side, as Imperial reinforcements were inbound to wipe them out. Moorn has briefed Commander Onder of the situation and the clones have begun to board the LAAT gunships in anticipation of the attack.

"Get on board the gunships! The other fleet has already begun their assault and we're slacking behind!" ordered Commander Onder.

The Beverend's fighters and transports were being scrambled, pilots were hopping into their ARC-170s and clone marines were still boarding their transports. The Beverend had already exhausted all of its other fighter and bomber squadrons in their engagement with the Sundered Heart. This last fighter squadron, codenamed "Titan" was to escort the boarding party on their way to the Imperial interdictor.

The pilots of Titan squadron were conducting pre-flight checks over their comm channel.

"Titan Leader to all pilots, commence flight checks and report status." said the squadron leader.

"Titan 2, standing by." said one pilot.

"Titan 3, standing by." said another.

Each of the pilots, one by one, were all stating their callsigns and status. The squadron came out to about 12 pilots and the pre-flight checks were finally complete. The squadron leader contacts Commander Onder immediately afterwards.

"Commander, Titan squadron is ready and prepared to make your entry. Waiting on you, sir." said the squadron leader.

"Begin the operation, Titan Leader." ordered Onder.

The venator opened its hangar bays and began the launch sequence. Titan squadron's ARC-170s were to launch first, followed by the LAAT transports of Onder's boarding party. Other squadrons that were scrambled like Shawl squadron were dwindling in numbers, but the remaining squadrons were to engage the Interdictors' defense lasers as the first wave. As the imperial foes were only Interdictors at this time, the amount of fighters they had available were less than usual than the average ISD. The boarding party of the Beverend was finally making their way to the Interdictor.

Interdictor Bridge:

An imperial officer observes the ships the Venator Star Destroyer had just launched out of its hangar bays.

"Captain, the enemy has organized a boarding party and is heading towards our ships!" said the imperial officer.

The captain responds, "Blast! Get our remaining squadrons to target those transports and tell our reinforcements to make haste!"

Although the captain knew they were trying everything they could to repel the boarding party, their shields were being depleted by their foes' bomber squadron and lacked a sufficient amount of fighters to counter the incoming assault. They knew that boarding was inevitable.

The captain proceeded to entire crew of the ship, "All combat ready personnel are to secure the hangars and prepare to be boarded! Hold out until reinforcements arrive!"

The communications officer on the bridge approaches the captain and tells him that they are being contacted by Admiral Yularen.

"Put him through." said the captain.

A hologram of Admiral Yularen appears on the bridge's holotable.

"Captain, I've received word that you've intercepted a rebel cell in the Valarity Sector. Does your distress signal mean that your new interdictors are no match for them?" said Yularen.

"Apologies, Admiral. We did not anticipate them to be as resilient as they are at the moment. They are receiving assistance from a Venator-class Star Destroyer and they are inbound to board us!" replied the captain.

"We are being dispatched to your sector now. I should remind you that if you allow the rebels to escape, the Moff will be displeased with how you've used these Interdictors." said Yularen.

The captain spoke, "Yes, Admiral. We'll repel the boarding party as soon as possible." The hologram disappears from the holotable, and the crew of the Captain's interdictor await the Beverend's boarding party.

Onder's LAAT:

Valey, one of the troopers from Onder's platoon, was responsible for planning the assault and mapping out their operation on the Interdictor. There was one problem, however.

"Commander, this ship's design is unlike anything I've ever seen before. It'll be difficult to figure out how we can disable the gravity well generators." said Valey.

"That's why we have this." replied Onder, as he points at an accompanying astromech droid designated as R4-G18.

"This droid will allow us to figure out the schematics of the ship once we manage to get to a terminal. Worst case scenario, we'll have to go for the ship's reactor." Onder continued.

Onder began to receive a transmission from his commlink. It was from Admiral Moorn on the Beverend's Bridge.

The commander opened the transmission and spoke, "Admiral, we'll be boots on ground very shortly. Is there something you need to tell us?"

"Commander, it seems that plans have changed. Even if you do manage to disable the Interdictors, the Beverend will be unable to make its trip to Mon Calamari. We can't make the necessary repairs in time before the Imperial reinforcements arrive." the admiral replied.

Onder and his platoon were surprised, until the admiral continued:

"That's why we've reached a compromise with the rebel cell. You'll be accompanying the scientists as stowaways on board the rebel ships."

"Admiral, there's no way we can transfer everything and everyone from the Beverend in time!" yelled the Commander.

"We will prioritize the lives of the scientists first, Commander. The decision has already been made and the scientists are making their way to the rebel vessels as we speak. Once you disable the Interdictor, make sure you and your platoon join them on the corellian corvette. That's an order." replied Moorn.

"What about you then, Admiral?" the commander asked.

"I'll be staying on the Beverend with all the other non-essential personnel to fend off the Imperial reinforcements. We won't be going down without a fight. Promise me you'll get them to Mon Calamari as soon as possible." Moorn answered.

Onder had much to say, but as the admiral told him, the decision was already made. The Beverend was to make one final stand against the incoming Imperial forces while his team joins the Kaminoan scientists with the rebel cell.

"I-I understand, Admiral. It's been an honor serving with you." the commander replied calmly.

"May the force be with you." Moorn said, as the transmission ends.

There was a small silence inside the transport as Onder's platoon digested the news that they had just received, until the silence was broken by the LAAT pilot.

The pilot announces, "Titan squadron has repelled the enemy fighters and we're due for touchdown in 60 seconds. Get ready to deploy!"

Onder and his platoon unholstered their weapons, and prepared to meet the enemy head on. If they were to fail now, then none of them would be leaving this sector alive.
