This is my submission for the Holiday Fan FIC Swap. It is a continuation of Elizabeth and Nathan's journey that began in NEVER FORGET.

Lucas and Elizabeth have been married for almost six months. They are going on a honeymoon trip to Europe for the summer accompanied by Jack and Laura. They will be traversing Canada on the TransCanada Limited (train) and crossing the Atlantic by ship. They will travel in France and Spain.

Picking up at the end of S8e11. Lucas walks off and Elizabeth finally faces the fear that she has been running from. A redemption fic that aims to restore Elizabeth to a woman worthy of Nathan's heart. Title based on the hymn Amazing Grace "was blind, but now I see."

This story is taken from a new country song I heard on the radio that gave me the inspiration to begin a new story of Elizabeth and Jack and the situation that brings them together.
