So I had a few really great reviews on this story. I haven't been writing much due to the pandemic and other crazy things happening in my life. But, I was going through this while at work (don't tell anyone) and decided to do a little bit of writing. Hope you like it!

Midoriya and Katsuki were sitting on the bus together, one airpod in Katsuki's right ear and one in Midoriya's left. Both had a boba in their hand, sipping away as they waited for the stop that would get them to the class they both shared.

They were second year now. Katsuki and Midoriya had formed a strong bond, and it helped that they took the same bus to get to school. For Midoriya, having Katsuki around was a life changer. Finally, someone who understood him and rarely ridiculed him. A true friend. Little to Katsuki's knowledge, Midoriya was holding out on a big secret, one that could ruin their friendship forever; or that's what Midorya thought.

Katsuki was scanning his socials, sipping from his boba and glancing from the corner of his eye to Midoriya, whom he fondly calls Deku on a regular basis. His eyes softened at the beauty of his face. Deku had his eyes closed, obviously listening closely to the music they were listening to. They only had this one class shared, especially since they had different majors, they did their best to make sure they shared one class together before things got too complicated. It was both of their first class for the day; as he had done many other times, he stayed at Midoriya's apartment the night before. Those were the nights they shared together, and no one was ever invited. It wasn't set in stone that no one could come, but Katsuki didn't want to share his time with the person he knew he loved. If only Midoriya knew just how much the spiky haired boy actually fell for him.

The bus came to a halt and they both jumped up, as well as many other students, to rush to their class. That day they had reunited, Katsuki had kept his word. He and Midoriya truly went through all of his belongings, grabbing anything that screamed normie, put it in one of Midoriya's pots and started a fire in the backyard. But, it's not like Deku was complaining much. As they walked together to class they echoed the same style to one another. Deku had finally gotten a few more piercings. Katsuki was pleasantly surprised when the green haired boy revealed his tongue piercing. He couldn't help but fantasize what that tongue would feel like… But now there was metal adorned on his nose, many on his ears, and one medusa sitting above his lip. Katsuki had been there for all of them. Kaminari did sit in one, since he was getting a new one himself.

Midoriya's skin glowed unter the soft sun in his black tank-top with a chibi skull design over the breast pocket. Plain black joggers and red and black pleather boots. His hair was messy-as per usual. He wore smudged eyeliner and just a small amount of concealer; so little you'd barely realize it's there.

Katsuki had on his gauges, his left ear loop having a chain connecting to a piercing higher up on the ear. His own hair in messy spikes. Dark skinny sunglasses hovered above his nose and his neck shined with multiple necklaces. He had on a short sleeve dark blue and black striped t-shirt and a black kilt with short underneath. His Doc Martins still new and fresh, gripping tightly to the ground. They walked with such an energy together and rarely did anyone approach. Except for Katsuki's friend.

And the one other friend that had entranced my Midoriya as well. "Deku!" Katsuki tisked softly as the bouncy brown eyed girl bumped shoulders with Midoriya, using the name Katsuki had given him. Sadly they shared this class with her, too.

"Oh, hey Ochaco-chan. Did you finish the work due today?"

"Barely!" she smiled brightly up at him. "What about you guys?"

"We finished it together last night."

"You guys are nerds!" She stuck her tongue out at the two men before she was called by another friend as they were walking and bounced away to start another bubbly conversation.

"Ugh." Katsuki grumbled. He didn't necessarily hate the girl, but she just always seemed too close to Deku, and it bothered him to no end. And it didn't help that the class he felt was going to be the best opportunity to spend more quality time with his crush and now someone else was crashing into them. But, he rarely voiced it to the others because he knew that this was a valuable friend and appreciated that Deku was starting to branch out to other people. Sometimes you just can't help how you feel.

When their class was over, Katsuki and Deku split up. Deku was going to the library to study and work a bit more because his next class was only an hour away. Ka-chan decided to meet up with Kirishima and Kaminari for a smoke sesh since that was his only class for the day.

When Katsuki arrived at Kirishima's apartment, the door was unlocked. As it usually was. "Eijiro, you seriously need to lock your door."

"A man can take any challenge life has to offer!"

"We knew you were coming, so decided to leave it open. Hehe. Don't worry, I've been making sure delicate Eijiro doesn't have anyone trying to steal his shit."

They dabbed up and Katsuki sat in a green soft bean bag chair. "How was class with your boyfriieeeeend!?" Kaminari exclaimed. Katsuki rolled his eyes and punched his friend in the leg. He winced and pouted in a dramatic fashion.

"He's not my boyfriend."

"Oh, when are you finally going to say something!" Eijiro sighed in exasperation. "You guys have been glued to each other's hips since last year, and it's so obvious that you both like each other. I don't understand how you can be so dense!"

"Mind your fucking business. Besides, I'm not gonna push anything if he's not ready. Besides, we aren't even 100% sure that he's got feelings for me or is even attracted to me. He told me he had a girlfriend once in college."

"Classic closet talk."

"Shut up Denki."

"Well, you need to make a move or something. What if he's the one that's afraid it would ruin your friendship if he confessed. Does he know that you're into guys?"

Katsuki shrugged. The conversation never really came up. The only reason he even knew about the previous girlfriend was because the bubbly Ochaco had pried it out of Deku when they were eating together on campus. Deku had never really pried Katsuki about his previous relationships, it just wasn't a topic they talked about. All they really talk about is school, music, shows, and bits and pieces of their past have come up.

"Why don't you just out yourself?"

"Why do I need to out myself? Thats such a fucking lame thing to have to do."

"I mean you came out to your parents."

"Yeah but barely. Besides, my mom already knew so it wasn't like it was a big deal. We didn't bake a fucking cake or anything like that."

"Whatever, man. You want a hit?"

Meanwhile, Deku was studying diligently before his next class when his phone began to ring. It was his mom. No surprise to him, she calls him at least once a week to check on him. "Hello, Mom."

"Oh! Isuku I just wanted to call and see how you were doing."

"I'm doing great, Mom. Just studying before my next class."

"Isuku, you were always such a good student. How are your friends doing-how's Ka-chan?" Even at the sound of his name, Izuku couldn't help but blush. "H-he is fine, Mom! Yeah, he's great."

"I hope you are both eating right! You can always come home and get a good home cooked meal if you want to."

"I know, Mom. I will be home during the next break, I promise."

"You should bring Ka-chan this time! You always talked about him and he's been your first friend in a while. I want to finally meet him. And not just over a video call!"

"Oh, I don't know if he can, Mom."

"Well, you haven't even asked him."

"Fine, I'll ask him, but I assume he's going to visit his own family." They chatted for a bit longer before his mom decided to drop a bomb shell on him.

"Guess who I saw at the store today?"

"Who?"

"Toga-chan!" Izuku froze. He hadn't heard her name in a while. Mainly because he had done everything to avoid her throughout his teen years. She was one of the biggest bullies. Called him some of the worst names, even after it had been a long time since he tried to dress like he wanted, she would continue to dig into him that he was worthless. All the while playing sweet for the adults around so he could never try to say she was mean.

"You were such good friends in middle school I decided to invite her over for the next holiday!"

"What! Why would you do that? You know what, nevermind. I have to go. My class is going to start soon."

"Isu-" He hung up the phone before she could say anything and he could feel his chest tightening. The anxiety was creeping into his brain like tendrils of madness. He ran to the nearest bathroom, got into an open stall, sat down and began hyperventilating. He felt overwhelmed and could hear her speaking all those horrible things, like crazy whispers trying to hurt him simply through the memory.

This time things were getting out of control. Usually he was pretty good at getting himself to calm down. This time it was becoming more and more of a struggle to get any breath out of his mouth-into his lungs.

He passed out and next he knew he was sprawled out on the bathroom floor.

"Woah! Someone passed out in the men's restroom at school!" Denki jumped at the notification, announcing it to the others.

"No way, who the heck was so fucked up they thought they could still make it to class. Hahaha." Katsuki laughed.

"Oh shit." Denki had zoomed in on whatever had been sent to him. His eyes widened and he showed the screen to Katsuki. "Yo, it was Midoriya."

"What the fuck!" Katsuki jumped to his feet as he stared at the photo that had been posted of the messy green haired man face down in a restroom. "Fuck, I have to like, go see if he's okay, right?"

"Well, I don't know how long ago this was taken. Let me see if anyone knows anything?"

Katsuki began to pace back and forth as both Denki and Eijiro reached out to anyone they knew would be on campus and might have known what happened.

"Okay so it seems like the ambulance came and he woke up and was just sent to the nurse to get rest. No one seems to know exactly what happened though, so he might still be on campus."

Katsuki pulled out his phone and called an Uber. "I'm going to go to campus and see if he's okay."

"Of course. Let us know how he's doing when you can." Katuski gave a thankful look to his friends before exiting the apartment.

"I wish they would just date already."

"I know!" Eijiro threw his hands up in the air.

Katsuki made it to campus within a few minutes. Thankfully the apartment wasn't too far. He ran to the nurses office. "Is Izuku Midoriya here?"

"Oh, are you his friend? Yes, he's just resting in that room down the hall. He's doing fine, but you're welcome to go see him." Katsuki just nodded and tried to calm down his fast beating heart before entering the room.

"Ka-chan?" Katsuki practically collapsed at the sight of Deku. He was so relieved to see he was okay. His nose looked a bit red, his eyes looked tired, worn down.

"Oh, I'm so glad you are okay. There's a picture floating around of you passed out on the floor and I thought something bad had happened! Tell me what's going on."

Deku turned his head downward and took a deep sigh. "It's just hard to talk about."

Ka-chan pulled up a chair close to the bed Deku was on. "Look, I know we usually don't talk about anything too deep. But… I'm you're fucking friend, you know. If something is going on you gotta talk to me about it."

"Well… When I was younger, there was this girl… Her name is Himiko Toga. She was the one that constantly bullied me when I was in school. The one day where I tried to dress all gothic she even pushed me against some desks. I was always embarrassed by her and she always made me feel worthless. I couldn't tell anyone, though, because she would always place nice in front of other people and would even try to accuse me of being mean or being weird around her. I was on the phone with my mom and… she brought her up and said she was inviting her over for the next holiday. I just kind of… panicked. I didn't know what to do or how to react. I started hyperventilating and that's how I passed out in the bathroom."

Katsuki fumed. "I'll fuck that bitch up if you need me to. If you want, I can come over for this holiday."

Deku looked up and laughed. "Well that's good because my mom told me to invite you too!"

Katsuki scrunched up his face. He had never really been that good with talking to parents. When he saw Deku's mom via video call that was a lot easier than having to interact in person. But, he would do anything to protect the person he loved, even if it meant dealing with an impossibly embarrassing moment like having dinner with Deku's mom.

It was a big moment. Izuku Midoriya was scared shitless. He and Katsuki had taken the train to his hometown, taken a bus, and were now walking with their luggage to his house. He was sweating bullets, nervous as hell about the guy that he was totally in love with not only meeting his parents, but also meeting the girl who ruined most of his life. Katsuki is pretty nervous himself. He didn't know what to expect, or who to expect really.

"Oh My Gosh it's my Izuku!" A plump short woman with green wavy hair greeted them at the door and gave Izuku a big hug. "Please, get inside! I've already made dinner. You can drop your things off in Izuku's room and then come down for dinner. Oh, you both look so cute. I'm so happy Izuku has found a friend that likes the same things as him!"

Katsuke gave a weird smile to the woman as she embraced him. They dropped their things in Deku's room. Katsuki got a quick peek at the heavily decorated room. Littered with all kinds of band posters and movie posters. His sheets were black with red paint splatter design. Deku saw Katsuki talking in his room and blushed. He definitely took the style to heart.

A ring at the door made Izuku jump and his face turned pale. Katsuke readied for battle. "Oh! Toga-chan is here! Hurry up and come downstair boys!"

Katsuki grabbed Izuku's hand and squeezed it. He looked deeply into his eyes and said, "I'm here for you. If you need to leave dinner, just tap on my shoe with your shoe two times and then I'll make an excuse for us to leave." Izuku's appearance softened.

"Thank you Ka-chan." He wasn't sure what exactly took over him, but he pulled Deku in for a hug. He wrapped his arms around him and put his face in the bend of his neck and sighed deeply.

"I won't let anything happen to you."

Deku's body was on fire. He had never been touched so intimately. He felt protected, strong, and responded by using his own arms to pull his friend closer to him, leaning against his head that fit so perfectly on his shoulder. Katsuki's breath was boiling on his neck. He pulled back from Katsuki and his entire face was red.

Katsuki looked at the glazed eyes of his crush and he felt a knot in his stomach and word vomit began to pour out of his mouth. "I… have a crush on you."

Deku's whole body tensed and his eyes went wide. "You…!"

He was cut off by his mom's voice. "I told you both to get down here already!"

Deku jumped up, he crashed down into reality after floating in bliss at what had just happened. He scurried out of the room, and Katsuki followed. But the boys didn't let go of each other's hands until they had gotten down the stairs.

Toga's piercing eyes locked in on the hands right before they separated. Then, she gave Midoriya a once over, and smirked. But the smirk faltered when she gazed upon Bakugo. She loved tormenting Midoriya. It made her blood rush to see him vulnerable and beaten down. She had been the reason his confidence was so low, and made it her business that he never 'embarrass' himself with his ridiculous outfits. Now, he had a friend and it was time to see how she could wiggle herself between them like a snake trying to whisper false promises into your ear.

"Hey Izuku… still wearing that ridiculous clothing, I see." She was sitting at the table, waiting and watching.

"Here's dinner!" Izuku's mom put down multiple plates of fish and rice and they sat down to eat. Katsuki made sure to sit right next to Izuku and gently pushed his leg against the others, making Deku's face warm.

Toga made sure to notice the redness that filled Deku's face. Overall, dinner was cordial. Deku's mom went to wash the dishes, leaving the 3 young one to talk.

"Oh, so you're a faggot now, idiot Izuku." Toga had the biggest smile on her face as she saw the shock in the tormented boys face and he shrunk under her gaze.

"What the fuck did you just say?" Katsuki growled. Toga's eyes widened and her smile perked just a bit.

"Oh, did I hurt your little feelings? Look at yourself. You look like an ashy piece of wood smudged on your face. And that hair? Please you aren't fooling anyone with that dye job." Katsukie began to feel enraged. Who did she think she was, talking to them like that? Seeing the defeated, empty look in Deku's eyes made his heart break and fueled his fire.

"Oh, I see jealous now that your toy is gaining self confidence and realizing that piece of shit people like you only speak empty fucked up shit because you don't have anything better to do. Oh, where's your boyfriend? Don't have one? Thats fucking suprising considering you're a fucking deadbeat."

"Ka-chan!"

"What? I'm not gonna let this bitch flop her mouth like she knows something about me or about my life. I can see from her face she's probably never been challenged like this. Grow a pair and move on with your fucking life." Katsuki leaned in and whispered, "Because if you fucking come near my boyfriend with any kinda shit in that raggedy ass mouth, I don't have any problem hitting girls."

Toga's mouth dropped. She abruptly stood from her seat. "Oh, Toga, are you already leaving?" Deku's mom called out. Toga didn't even respond as she rushed out of the home. "Aw, she didn't even say goodbye."

"Oh, well. Some people just don't have any manners these days." Katsuki shrugged. Deku's eyes were wide and his mouth slightly dropped.

He leaned over to Katsuki, resting his head on his shoulder and whispered softly, "Did you just call me your boyfriend, Ka-chan?"

Katsuki blushed and looked away, but glanced his eyes back at Deku. "Yeah, you got a fucking problem with that?"

The biggest and brightest smile he had ever seen on the man appeared. Fireworks went off in his heart. "No, I don't have a problem with that at all."
