Hello everyone. Here is the one-shot for this year's new year's eve. I hope that you will enjoy it. :)
It is new year's eve in Rio De Janerio as Blu and his family, along with Bia's boyfriend, Nightfly, are busy doing their own thing for the eve of this year's end, Blu and Jewel are dancing together along with Rafael and Eva, Carla is singing alongside her uncles, Nico and Pedro, Tiago is busy pranking, while Nightfly and Bia are busy kissing each other.
The two lovebirds eventually stopped kissing each other as they settled for just cuddling, knowing that they will be satisfied by the sight of fireworks as they will stand alongside the rest of the Gunderson family, knowing that a new year is going to happen in a few minutes time, something that made them both excited and nervous at the same time.
"Hey Nightfly, what do you think is going to happen in the new year?" asked Bia as she looked at her boyfriend with a smile. "What are you looking forward to the most?".
"Well, I am looking forward to spending more time with my girlfriend" said Nightfly as he smiled at Bia, who giggled at his answer. "What will you be looking for to the most, Bia?".
"I will be looking forward to spending time with my family, Nightfly" said Bia as she sighed in happiness, before looking at Nightfly. "I will be spending time with you, too".
"Yeah, 2019 is going to be a strange new year, like a regeneration" said Nightfly as he looked out into the deep dark sky. "But yet, good and bad things will happen, all the same".
Bia nodded in agreement to what her boyfriend was saying, knowing that despite every new year that comes and goes, there will always be good and bad in the world, but, it was also like a regeneration from the Doctor who TV show, something new happens to replace the old, something that usually happens in life.
When they were done spending time with each other, they went back to the rest of Gunderson family, where they saw that Blu was about to light the fireworks, though, Bia and her siblings remembered fondly of when the last time that fireworks were involved in the new year, when Blu had accidentally got himself trapped next to a firework, that fired into the air, taking him with it.
Blu was determined to not let that happen again, but, when the count down started, he waited until the count of five to light the firework before trying to get away to safety, though, he had no idea that his left leg is trapped in a piece of rope, that Tiago had managed to tie to the firework, while Blu had unknowingly stepped into it.
Which led to Blu, once again, being sent flying into the air by the firework as the rest of his family could only watch as they flew onto the Christ Redeemer statue, where they watched the fireworks explode, while trying to spot Blu, who eventually comes down towards with a yell of shock and horror before landing next to his family.
"Why me?, why is it always happening to me?" asked Blu before looking at Tiago. "You and I are going to have some serious words, young man".
"Sorry dad, but, it was so funny seeing it" said Tiago before Jewel gave him a stern look. "But yeah, it was irresponsible of me, so, again, sorry dad".
"Never mind that now, let's the fireworks..." said Jewel as she cuddled with her husband. "...Together, as a family".
The entire Gunderson family nodded in agreement as they held onto each other, while watching the fireworks, though, Nightfly cuddled Bia, who laid her head on his shoulder as the two lovebirds smiled at each other, before they shared a passionate kiss as they continued to watch the fireworks alongside the rest of the Gunderson family.
Well, it's goodbye 2018 and hello 2019, I hope that everyone enjoys new year's eve and new year's day. So, basically...happy new year, everyone. :)
