One year later

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday Charlotte and Jacob, Happy birthday to you!" everyone sings to our two babies who are sat in their high chairs at the end of the table as Jace and I walk towards them with their birthday cakes.

"Happy birthday my babies" I say as I place the cake in front of Jacob and lean down and kiss his check, I watch Jace do the same thing to Charlotte and smile.

"Mama." Jacob babbles as he lifts his arms asking to be lifted up. I smile and lift him up. Charlotte watching us, lifts her arms to Jace and asks to be picked up. I smile as Jace leans down and kisses Charlotte's cheeks as she lifts her up.

"Dada!" Charlotte exclaims as she laughs at Jace's antics. I look down at my beautiful babies and smile at how much they've grown.

Flash back to coming home.

I look down into the car seat carrying Charlotte and see her mop of golden curls. I smile a mile long and look across to the mop of red curls on Jacobs head. Looking at both of the features I smile at the similarities despite the difference in hair. They both have my nose, small and dainty. They have Jace's lips and I know that they both will develop the Herondale smirk when the time comes. Their eyes are unique. Jacobs left is golden, and his right is green whilst Charlotte's right is golden, and left is green. My babies are beautiful.

"Let's get these beautiful babies' home, shall we?" Jace says as he lifts the heaviest of our babies, Jacob.

"I can't believe how heavy they have gotten." I say as we lift them into the car. JJ was born weighing 4.2 pounds and 17.5 inches long. CJ was smaller weighing 3.95 pounds and 17 inches. Now JJ is 5.5 pounds at 20 inches and CJ is 5.3 and 20 inches.

"I know it's like they've not stopped eating." I say with a laugh. "Well technically they haven't stopped eating and my boobs are a sign of that." I laugh again feeling how heavy my breasts have gotten being full of milk.

"I love watching you feed our babies. It makes me so proud. I'm so very proud of you bringing these two into the world. I love you Mrs Herondale." Jace says as he leans over and kisses me.

"I love you too Mr Herondale. And our beautiful children." I smile and get into the front seat ready to set off and bring our babies home.

End of flash back.

"Present time!" My mom shouts and the babies smile and clap their hands. "Open this one first my babies" mam says as she hands a present to Jace and I.

"Ooo, I wonder what it is." Jace says as he helps Charlotte to open her present. I help Jacob to open his to see his green froggy scuttle bug. He gets so excited he jumps excitedly in my arm.

"Shall we asked Grampa to put it together for you?" I ask Jacob who nods his head and calls to his Grampa.

"Gampa, gampa!" He calls as he stretches his arm out. Luke comes over and takes him out of my arms.

"How about Grandad builds yours for you CJ?" Valentine asks as he walks over to Charlotte who smiles and reaches her arms out.

8 months ago, Valentine, Jon, Mom and I all sat down and talked and we decided that we were going to put the past behind us and let Valentine be in our life and my babies lives. And so far, it has been wonderful, his wife has been wonderful as well, she loves the babies as much as we do and I couldn't be prouder of my babies 3 nana's or there 2 grandpas.

I feel arms warp around my waist and look up to see Jace. "I'm so glad that our family is all together to celebrate this perfect day. Our perfect day with our perfect family. God, I love you Mrs Herondale."

"I love you too Mr Herondale. I can't believe that we've been married for a whole year next week. Best decision you've ever made Mr Herondale." I smile and turn towards Jace, wrapping my arm around his neck.

"When are we going to have some more children Clary?" Jace asks and I laugh. "I'm serious, I want more children with you Clary. A lot more! I want a whole football team."

"Let's wait until these babies and their new sibling arrive before we even think about having anymore." I smile up to him.

"Wait their sibling? We're pregnant?" He asks a huge smile on his face.

"We're pregnant!" I whisper shout.

"We're pregnant!" Jace shouts causing our family to cheer.

"I love you so much, I love Cj and I love JJ and I love this new baby so much Clary! Thank you for being my perfect happily ever after!" Jace kisses me and pulls me into his chest.

"Mama, Dada!" I feel two little arms wrap around my legs and lean down to pick up CJ as Jace leans down and lifts up JJ.

"My everything!" I say as I kiss all three of my perfect family, my hand resting my hand on my slowly expanding stomach. My life is perfect.
