Hey readers! I updated quickly again, being more lively to write a total new huge chapter that has over 4000 words. I wrote this again partly on my half an hour lunch brakes at work on my handy iPad mini, they are very helpful!

I want to thank tdjs again, for the support on this story. Also thanks to all you readers for the support and reading of this story.

Not Beta'd as of yet my darlings! You have been warned, but I have done my best.

Disclaimer: I don't Harry Potter. Belongs to WB and the lovely J K Rowling.

Chapter Four: Hard to Believe

Harry tossed and turned violently in his bed yet again, his body hot as if it had been set on fire. The dream from the night before repeating it's self once more, going through the emotions again of Cedric's and Sirius's death.

This time there was something different, everything was the same but he felt different.

He watched the blood red river flow, memories going down the stream. He was so damned tired of seeing this, he wanted to dream of happy things again. He felt a breeze swoop around him, the sky above opening up a pure cycle of white, a black shaped object coming down to stop in mid air.

Everything stopped moving all of a sudden, the river had stopped flowing and the breeze stopping, it was like a cool presence had entered his mind. Harry felt strange again, realising that he was now floating upwards away from the red river.

He was getting near to the object, realising it was a black and white door. His eyes searched around it, knowing it was just a normal door with no door handle. He floated around it, he knew it lead to somewhere. A handle started to form when he touched the door and a hissing sound irrupted as the handle formed into a metal snake wrapped around in vines.

Harry groaned, his eyes fluttering at the sensation that he was going to be sucked somewhere else. The door stayed with him as he was sent into blackness. Now he didn't know where he was, but this place looked... odd.

Abandoned.

His stomach was moving about as if it were trying to break free of him, and he whimpered. Harry looked at the door handle again and touched it, the snake started hissing. His hand immediately stopped touching it.

"Open little one ... Sssome one wantsss to meet you" The handle on the door hissed. Harry's hand reached out and pushed down the handle with his courage in tack. He looked behind him, noticing that everything was still black, except the door. With a deep breath, he pushed the door open.

Harry had to cover his eye's, the room beyond was all white and there was nothing in it. Before he knew it, he was already pushed into the room. He quickly spun around and the door wasn't there anymore. He placed his hands on the white wall, it was like no door had ever been there at all. He turned to face the room and started to run.

It was an endless run.

Harry... Stop.

He stopped, the voice from the other night interrupting his run.

Turn around.

Harry turned, the sound of gurgling caught his attention as he was faced with a baby, sitting on the floor looking at him.

"Hello there," Harry said as he kneeled down, coming closer to the child. "I have one messed up head don't I if I'm dreaming about children?"

"But that's no ordinary child in front of you." A voice said from behind him, his head turning slowly to face the voice that he knew as his very own now. He turned around, his eyes wide as he faced himself who was wearing all black, unlike himself he was the same colour of the room he had entered, white.

"This is just a dream Harry." He said to himself as he closed his eyes, rubbing at his scar which wanted to start itching.

"Oh, I can tell you now that this is no ordinary dream. Your magic is forcing you to remember."

"And who are you?" Harry asked, starting to freak out that he was speaking to himself.

"You could say I'm a part of your inner magic or soul." A wicked smile came across his face which Harry did not like at all.

"And what are you forcing me to remember?" Harry asked as he watched him closely as himself started to walk, offering a hand to the child. Harry looked into the eyes of himself, noticing that they kept flashing from red to green.

"Turn around and look at the child."

"Who is it?" Harry asked, not knowing who the child was.

"I'm glad your asking the right questions, this child is called Xeryus. Look familiar?" His inner said as he picked the child up. The child reached out a small hand to Harry and couldn't help but smile as he caught hold of the small hand within. The child gurgled and stuck his other small hand in his mouth. Harry's green eyes locked with the childs mismatched ones.

"The eyes?" Harry said quietly. He took in the childs features, from his point of view the child looked like a Snape and Malfoy creation. The boy had blonde curly locks, high cheek bones, a long but cute nose with a slight bump at the top, thin red lips and high dark blonde eyebrows.

"It's a unique feature, very distracting." His inner whatever eye's lit up red as boy stuck his small tongue out at him.

Harry nodded in agreement, but he couldn't stop looking at the boy's eyes. One was bright emerald-green and the other was a dark brown.

"Come to think about it he looks like the love child of Lucius Malfoy and Severus Snape." He watched as the child patted his inner selfs cheek, who in returned put a finger over his lips, like they were having a silent conversation.

"They had a child, born on the same day as you. He was kidnapped from his loving parents who were being discriminated as total worshipers of Voldemort and that their child would one day follow in their footsteps, but Lucius Malfoy's father thought he knew right and took him away."

Harry gasped as his inner self started to change, the features of himself turning into a different person. The famous Potter black hair was turning to blonde, the same shade of the child's and he grew bigger, into a older version of the child he carried. The feature were the same and more defined. The child clapped at the change and pointed at him.

"Secrets will unfold quickly and this is what Xeryus would look like now." Harry felt the sensation of something sickening happening in his stomach.

"Bye bye." The little boy said in a very cute voice as he waved his small grubby hand to the Boy-Who-Lived. Harry couldn't help but wave back as everything went to black, his inner self putting a finger over his lips before he fell deeply into a black hole.

Harry shot up, his hands clutching the bed spread that was wrapped around him. A flash of lightning lit up his room, a loud clap of thunder following afterwards. He tried to steady his breathing and heart rate, but falling into blackness always did this to him.

So he had guessed right back in his third year that the dungeon bat was gay, but wasn't Malfoy senior married to Narcissa Black? What startled Harry was that they did have a son, but why was his magic telling him this?

"No, I'm a Potter. There are baby photos of me from my birth in that album Hagrid gave to me. Stop thinking stupid thoughts Harry." He muttered to himself, shaking his head at his thoughts.

He looked at the clock on the bedside table next to him, eyes going wide that it was ten o'clock in the morning. He rubbed his eyes and got out of bed, going straight to his wardrobe of new smart clothes, gone were the hand me downs and he had welcomed new wizarding and muggle clothing.

His hands traced his shirts, picking the bright red one out with a pair of black tight fitting trousers which apparently made his arse look sexy, said the shop assistant. He moved to his bath room, striping down and replaced his boxers for new ones. He looked at himself in the huge mirror above his sink, feeling his face. He had shaved yesterday, facial hair that had started over a year ago growing more. He quickly put on his clothes, tucking his red shirt into his trousers.

He got his leather tie from the side of the sink and brought his hair into a low pony tail at the nape of his neck, leaving a couple of strands of hair out near his right eye. He slapped some after shave on and straightened himself out, he didn't want to let Snape and Malfoy think he was a slob.

Harry looked into the mirror again, his hand on the edge of the sink as he leaned forward.

His eyes went wide as his reflection started to smirk at him, his eyes changing to the odd ones like the child in his dream. He shook his head, looking back at his reflection that was playing tricks on him.

"Probably one of Sirius's pranks that he has left." Harry muttered as he walked back into his room to make his bed, unbuttoning his collar. A steaming mug of coffee appeared on his desk, a smirk playing at his lips as he walked to it taking a good helping from the cup, his body warming instantly and finally feeling his brain waking up.

Harry opened the biggest draw in his desk, revealing a silver pensive. He summoned his wand wandlessly and brought it to his temple, letting the white sliver of his dream drop into the shining liquid. He put his wand in the holster and wrapped the leather around his right forearm, rolling his sleeve down and put his Potter crest cuff links on that Remus had given him on his birthday, they were from Sirius.

'I hate mornings," Harry yawned into his coffee, thinking that the potions lab in the basement would be the best place to hide for now. Harry needed to brew Dreamless sleep for himself, he needed a good nights rest for tonight.

Lucius Malfoy was not a happy man at least to say. One, Draco was late to get up this morning. Two, he was going to be in the same building as the Potter brat for the next couple of days and three, Severus was in a bad mood because of Potter too.

He sipped at his calming peppermint tea, his grey eyes staring at the door. Narcissa came through the door, followed by their scruffy looking son. He was
going to open his mouth, but Narcissa sent him a warning look while shaking her head.

She sat down and Draco took a seat next to his mother and ignored the looks his father was sending him. A letter appeared on a silver plate near Draco and Lucius couldn't stand the silence anymore, he wasn't going get a good morning of his son again.

"What's the letter son?" Lucius asked calmly, Severus snapping down the top half of his paper, both knowing what day it was for Owl results.

"Owl Results," Draco muttered tiredly, looking tired from the sleepless night he had. He gladly helped himself to some toast as Lucius shot a look to Severus, who in return raised a eyebrow.

They all watched carefully as Draco opened the letter that held his results. The young blonde searched the letter, his hand starting to shake. He shot up, throwing his letter on the table.

"Excuse me." Draco muttered quietly as he pushed his chair back hard and looked up to glare at Severus, then Lucius. He did the famous Malfoy sneer and walked out, going to the kitchens instead to have breakfast.

"Draco?" Narcissa said in concern as she picked up his results, watching him leave quickly. Her eyes skimmed to the bottom, her head shaking side to side. "Oh Draco my darling," The letter floated out of her hands and shot across the room to her husbands hands. Lucius quickly found his sons grades.

Congratulations on passing all Owl exams.

"DRACO LUCIUS MALFOY GET YOU HIDE BACK IN HERE NOW!" Lucius said fuming as he stood up from his chair, wondering how his son in Merlin's name had achieved four Acceptable's.

Severus put the paper on the table and stood to walk over to his lover, placing a hand onto the blonde haired mans shoulder slightly squeezing with his long fingers. Lucius sat down again and Severus looked over to see the contents of the letter, his dark eyes going to the bottom of the paper to where the mark for Potions was. His face was blank, but his eyes held back the annoyance of the grade, he had given Draco extra lessons and revision before the Owl examinations.

"Don't you even dare get angry at him Lucius." Narcissa snapped, her wand out as she summoned back the letter and held it.

"Have you seen those grades?" Lucius demanded, earning his wife's dark look of hatred.

"Yes and I am proud no matter what. You have put him under a lot of pressure Lucius, he has also been taunted by his fellow peers of your time in Azkaban, of how weak you have been. Your meant to be in the Dark Lords inner circle and your looked upon as a man of power and you bargained everything on Harry Potter's stupidity, but you lost what the Dark Lord wanted most. So don't you dare tell him that he is a disappointment to the Malfoy name." Narcissa said calmly, her emotions now written all over her face,

"I can't except Draco onto one of the three places on advanced potions Narcissa with an exceed expectations, I normally don't even except that for my Newt class. I know how he wanted to study the harder syllabus of potions to know what to expect when he is learning for a masters in Potions, but if he proves himself he can still enter into my Newt class."

"Severus I'm glad for your concern, but he is Lucius's and my child. Please for once stay out of it," She paused, waiting for her husband's lover to response. Severus nodded to her, his thin lips becoming a tight line and his eyes holding back the anger towards her words. "Now I'm going to go see our child Lucius and for your sake make it up to him, before you loose him for good. You lost one child, don't loose the other." She walked out of the room quickly, not looking back at them.

Severus closed his eyes in pain at the mention of Xeryus, his teeth grinding together to not let loose the hurting words of what he can say to Lucius's wife. He felt a hand slither onto his that was still on his lovers shoulder.

"Severus take a deep breath in, she didn't mean to bring that up," Lucius said quietly as he turned on his chair bringing Severus's hand to his cheek, his lips lingering on the darker haired mans palm.

"She dared to mention our lost son like it was your fault. I hope Narcissa got the satisfaction she truly deserves in what she just said." He hissed angrily, spitting out her name. He took his hand away from Lucius's hold and summoned his cloak.

"I know Severus and I will talk to her about it"

"What will that do, we both know why she put that little remark in. You still have a child with her and I don't have the son you bared me. She is stuck in a loveless marriage where she cannot seek a lover because of the written contract between you two, but you can. She is lonely and jealous after 17 years of not being loved." Severus admitted in a pained, but icy tone while putting on his cloak.

"Where you going? We still have time before we head to headquarters," Lucius stood, moving closer to Severus.

"I need to collect the essays of my now seventh years class. I'll be back shortly. To let you know I watched Draco perform mostly in the practical exam, he performed to an excellent level. Draco must of lost marks on his written examination." Severus said in a quieter tone, some of the anger leaving his face as he left quickly through the dining room, not even looking back at his lover to say goodbye.

Remus was sitting at the kitchen table, with the last remains of his potion when his yellowish eyes snapped to the fireplace which roared to life in green flames. Flauntlessly he watched Snape enter the kitchen followed by Malfoy in a elegant manor. He watched them closely as the took in the now brightened decor of the kitchen, both looking glum and irritated.

Probably a lovers tiff that caused their glum looks.

"Lupin," Snape said shortly, also earning a nod from Malfoy. "Where then is our precious Potter, Lupin? Not going to greet us then, does he think he is too good to even greet us?" Snape sarcastically said, earning a smirk from Malfoy.

"He will be somewhere around the house redecorating either the basement or top floor," he paused, correcting Snape to one of the reasons why Harry wasn't here to so call greet the death eaters turned spies. "You know where your room is. I'll leave you too it, just stay out of Harry's way." Remus shot a look at them both, his eyes turning yellow as he felt his wolf growl in his mind at them. He got up and left the kitchen and smelled the air. He could smell Harry's darker scent trailing the stairs to the basement, now officially knowing that his cub was up.

He made his way down the deep steps to the basements hallway, looking at the four doors. Harry had been working down here alone the past week, the week before they had to take care of some very dark artefacts down here and that included one nasty bogart.

Remus opened the first door that faced the stairs, revealing a wall of full length mirrors. He looked around the room to see that there was a lot of muggle technology in there that helped people to keep fit. He knew a couple of the machines in there like a treadmill and a rowing machine. Harry had done a great job, even though the room was only lit by the tiny windows above the mirrors, his eyes took note of the writing on the walls.

He shut the door, hearing noses coming from the third room. The door opening slightly and he bet that Harry knew he was already down here. He got to the door and went inside, closing the door behind him. Remus's jaw dropped slightly at the sight in front of him. The potions lab was the worst room in the whole house, it was totally trashed and ruined and untouched. Mrs Black had her melt down about Sirius when he left to live with the Potter's in this very room.

"I thought your were going to fix just the spiral staircase cub?" Remus asked as he walked down the stairs. The room was the deepest one in the basement and you had to enter by the spiral staircase to get to the bottom.

He reached the bottom, looking around the fixed up laboratory.

"I was, until I got bored around your last full moon. I can't believe your going to have to transform into Mooney twice this month because of the moons cycle, it's closer to the earth or something when I read about it the other day." Harry said from the other side of the room, stirring the steaming liquid in the cauldron in front of him.

"Astronomy can be a weird thing," Remus admitted as he sat on the stool near the cauldron Harry was at. "Just be careful at brewing Harry, I don't want to see you hurt."

"Will you trust me more with a cauldron if I showed you my results?"

"You got your owl results?" Remus asked, wondering what his cub had got.

"Kreacher brought them to me about twenty minutes ago." Harry picked up the letter from the other side of his cauldron and handed him to Remus who skipped the top of the letter and went straight to the results.

Remus looked up from the letter and beamed a smile at his cub. Proud of the boy, no young man who was in front of him. "Harry, congratulations on passing all of them. You have definitely got a place in my advanced class, and you should too in Snape's advanced class. Top marks Harry, even better than mine and your mums."

"Snape might just drop dead when he learns of my grade, then he will learn that I have being fooling him all along," Harry smirked, pausing as last nights dream came into his thoughts. "With the mention of Snape, I had a dream of some kind last night. It might of been a vision or a glimpse into someone's past, but it gave me some information about a certain someone."

"What do you mean?" Remus tried to say in a confused tone, his eyes wide.

"Severus Snape and Lucius Malfoy are homosexual aren't they?" Harry asked, stirring his cauldron anti clockwise. Remus nodded, his voice caught in his throat at what Harry had just said to him. It seemed his magic was proceeding with the truth very quickly.

"They are together despite that Malfoy is married?"

"They have been together before he had to marry Narcissa. Snape was in his sixth year, Malfoy in his seventh when they officially started dating if you. An even put it in that context."

"He had to? I bet that came down to something called a hideous Pureblood marriage contract and that interfered I bet," Harry guessed, tapping his fingers against the workstation. He didn't need answers to that because it was a state of fact that most Pureblood's married because of a contract or to keep the blood pure of course.

Remus watched his cubs face closely, his mind coming up with things to say. He could tell there was more questions and that Harry's dream had showed a lot more that he was expecting.

"I feel there is another question you need to ask Harry, your scrunched forehead shows something is on your mind."

"They had a son together didn't they?" Harry asked, his tone low as he tried to concentrate on his potion.

"Yes they indeed did. The child was kidnapped by Malfoy's father and probably given to another family, one that doesn't dabble into the dark arts. No one truly knows what happened, Abraxas Malfoy was found dead a couple of days later so nothing was explained properly." Remus said truthfully, his mouth holding back the information he couldn't tell.

"Why is this hardly known then?" Harry wondered, nothing had ever been mentioned by students at Hogwarts.

"Believe it or not Harry it was well known that Lucius Malfoy's wife was pregnant while he was himself, but the Wizarding world understood the circumstances in a way. Narcissa was in love with another man as well, but a contract by the Noble House of Black was made and Abraxas Malfoy couldn't refuse it, so he signed it and forced his son to marry into a loveless marriage."

"I just don't see Snape as the fatherly type."

"You may think that Harry, but Snape was at his happiest when he had his son. He was a better man, but over the years since his son was taken away he has become bitter. You could say jealous that his partner still has a child." Remus admitted, sighing as he stood up. He rubbed his tired eyes and started to walk to the stairs, hand resting on the railing as he looked at Harry who was taking in the information that was given.

"Things are meant to happen for a reason Harry. Abraxas Malfoy wanted the best for the only grandchild he could get out of a dark family that served Voldemort. Speaking of them, Snape and Malfoy are already here and what I have just told you stays between us. I'll see you soon cub." Remus smiled, giving a little wave as he went up the spiral stairs.

"Take care Remus." Harry said quickly as he watched the man go up the stairs and out of the door, closing it quietly.

"So, Snape was a nice man once." Harry muttered, running a hand through his hair. Was his memories telling him that he knew their child as a playmate or something when he was little? He couldn't see that happening, his dad hated them so Harry doubted that.

He looked at the high ceiling, the floorboards above it creaking loudly. "Yep, defiantly staying down he until they want to find me." Harry said in a mocking tone as he picked up the knife and started to chop valerian sprigs to soon add to his potion.

Only if Snape could see him now.

So what do you guys think? Better chapter, is it telling you more? Love to hear and read you reviews. Open to suggestions, criticism and the good stuff.

Draco's owl results might of shocked you all, but I can see Pureblood's only averaging at the grades of Exceed Expectations or below because of genetic problems of interbreeding. Their only good at a couple of subjects and in some cases like Crab and Goyle not even good at all and struggle in magical subjects

It is important to note that during the practical portion of the Astronomy examination in the book that Umbridge and a group of Ministry Officials were making an attempt to apprehend Hagrid. Professor McGonagall went to his defense and was hit with four stunning spells in the chest. This happened when Harry was 2/3 of the way through his test and all students were unable to concentrate due to this action.

Now Remus is not going to be in the next chapter because of Mooney problems and all. What do you think will happen? Will Snape and Malfoy react to this weird, but different Potter? They will suffer from weird feelings, their magic will be trying to tell them something.

From Puzzle Me This.
