HEYEYEYEYEYYYEYEYYYYYY Ya girl is baaacccckkk
I randomly came back to this site for some nostalgia and saw yalls comments and well it had me inspired. So if any of yall stayed on this site this is for you!
Levy was getting seriously concerned. I mean, who says they are in love with you and then DOESN'T COMMUNICATE WITH YOU FOR A WEEK STRAIGHT. Levy mind was heading down a deep deep spiral. Maybe she did something wrong. Maybe she was being used. Did she really fall in love with someone who was just lying to her? He still needed her for the book so how could he not say a SINGLE THING.
She felt like slamming her head against a wall. MEN.
She heard Lucy from a distance. "LevyLevyLevy guesss what just freakin happened to me." Now she was tugging on Levy's arm, "Guess guess guesssssss."
Levy nearly groaned. She knew what this was about. "Did Natsu look at you?"
"Ha Ha very funny" Lucy stopped shaking her and sat down next to her, "He just asked me on a date!"
Levy perked up at this. It would figured as her love life was falling apart Lucy's would fall in place. "That is insane what happened."
"He came up to me while I was getting my things from the locker and just asked me. Oh Levy I am so excited we are going to have dinner THIS Saturday night! What should I wear? Oh, I hope this is my chance"
"Oh Lu you don't have to worry. He asked you on a date he's obviously interested. Annnd I suggest that cute red top."
Lucy continued to ramble in between shrieks of excitement, and Levy was uncertain if Lucy even heard her at all. And the subject was making her feel a certain type of way and she really did not like it.
Lucy needed a break from it all and there was only one place for her to go. The library. She stepped off the bus and looked at the all familiar structure. It had been so long since she walked into its doors. As she entered she could smell the lavender incense the Librarian left out every day. She waltzed in between the aisles lazily remembering all the memories of books she had read over the years. Then she came to the aisle where it all began. It seemed so long ago that she ran into a stranger with piercings for eyebrows.
She sighed as ran her fingers against the spines looking for a particular book. As she reached the end of the row she felt a spike of pain shoot up her arm. She whipped her hand away and say the blue scar of her arm shine bright. As she examined it it began to dull and Levy looked back to the books she was touching. None of them looked out of the ordinary.
She looked at the books incredulously. She moved her hand back to the books and lightly grazed them again. And on a large book with a brown, leather spine she felt the sharp pain again. But this time she didn't move her hand away and the pain transitioned into warmth.
"Wow"
She grabbed the book off the shelf. It felt so natural. It belonged in her hands. She opened up the book and saw symbols that she had never seen before. She didn't know what this meant but it was important and she need to take the book home with her and it needed to stay with her. She had to steal it.
Levy quickly scanned around her, suddenly paranoid that someone could read her mind and stop her. When she did not see anyone she began slowly exiting the aisle. She knew the library like the back of her hand. And there were two exits, one that everyone used and the librarian had a visual on and another that was only known by regular attendees that the librarian could not see. And as everyone knew she was a regular attendee.
She made a bee line for the exit as she stuffed the book into her backpack. She tried to walk confidently and act like everything was absolutely okay and she neared the exit she felt that way. And even more so she started to feel giddy. After all this book had weird symbols AND activated the scar in her hand. It felt like there was NO WAY and she doubting the possibility of it initially but this HAD to be the book right? And if she managed to find the book she could call Gajeel and he would have to talk to her and he would be so excited and they could get him the help he needs. She was starting to get giddy. The adventure was happening again and if the buzzing in her hand was any indication it was all going to come to a head.
As Levy successfully made her way out the library the Librarian's face made a slight smirk as she flipped through her magazine. Some people are just so easy to fool.
Once again thanks to anyone reading this and sorry if there is a bunch of typos! I kinda whipped through this cuz that fresh inspiration hit.
