Sasuke woke up and regretted what he'd gotten himself into yesterday. Why did he always do this shit to himself? He always made decisions without thinking about what he'd want later.

The more awake Sasuke felt, the less he regretted the decision. His usual daily emotions hit and he cared only about drugs again. He figured that if drugs were there, it was worth being there. He hated how depression hit.

Sasuke passed the time for the rest of the day by listening to music, putting his stuff away, and sleeping. Itachi got home at 6:17 P.M. and cooked dinner for them because Sasuke was asleep. As he cooked, he slowly slipped away from his work face and relaxed into his home self.

When Itachi finished dinner, he called to Sasuke and got no answer. He sighed. He hated it when Sasuke slept during the day because when he slept during the day, he had a hard time sleeping at night. Itachi walked to Sasuke's room and knocked on the door before opening it.

Sasuke was laying on his side with his back to Itachi. "You need to get up, Sasuke," Itachi said while walking towards Sasuke's bed. Itachi felt frustrated and knew waking Sasuke was an argument waiting to happen. Sasuke absolutely hated being woken up.

Itachi put his hands up to his sides in an 'angry mother' look. "Sasuke. Dinner's ready." Sasuke groaned and pulled the covers closer to his face. Itachi turned Sasuke's light switch on. When Itachi saw Sasuke giving up, he left his room before he got too annoyed.

Sasuke felt a wave of nervousness hit him when he woke up. For once, he stood up within 5 minutes of waking up. What time was it and, more importantly, had he slept through to the next day? He quickly checked his phone and sighed in relief.

It was only 6:17 P.M. He'd have to leave the house at 11 P.M. to get there in time. He debated whether he should or not. If he ate, he might have more energy to think clearer but if he ate, he might feel sick.

Ultimately, he decided eating was more important. But he'd eat soft foods. Sasuke didn't throw up easily at all but better safe than sorry. Plus, he needed fuel for his brain. He smelled chicken and went to the dining room. Itachi was there waiting for him at the table.

"How was work?" Itachi seemed stressed. "It was fine." Sasuke didn't believe him but they weren't the types to talk about feelings so he just nodded and sat down. "Hiw was your day?" Itachi asked. "It was fine," he replied.

Itachi scrutinized, looking for lies. But was left confused instead. Itachi used to read Sasuke so well. Now he was having a hard time reading Sasuke's expression. So, he left it alone. They ate in silence.

It was a comfortable silence. The type of silence you could only do with someone you felt safe with. The type of silence that left you to your deepest thoughts.

Sasuke thought about his plans for the night and decided he'd bring a knife. He would hate to use it but he'd never been in a situation like this before and he needed to be safe.

Itachi got up to put his plate in the kitchen which took Sasuke out of his thoughts. Sasuke followed after him and went to his room. Sasuke killed time for the rest of the night by listening to music and coming up with scenarios in his head of what could happen.

Sasuke listened out for Itachi and Itachi finally went to sleep at 9:37 P.M. Itachi must have had a tough day at work. Sasuke decided to leave the house a bit early because Itachi went to sleep early. He grabbed a knife, a razor blade, and a jacket and snuck out of the house as quietly as possible.

Sasuke had never snuck out of the house before so the whole situation was new. He just knew to avoid cops and cars in general. He turned on his GPS, put his head down, and put his hood on, hoping cars wouldn't see how old he was if he did that.

He felt shaky and high off of adrenaline. The adrenaline and shakiness went away within 20 minutes. His mind adapted to the night quickly. He only hoped this all wouldn't be for nothing.

The masked man best meet me there, he thought. If not, I'm gonna beat his ass. He was bluffing of course. He was almost 100% sure the masked man could easily kill him if he wanted to. Because Sasuke left early, he stepped foot on Bilsbury Rd early.

The abandoned house was kind of sad, all by itself in the corner of the street. No houses surrounded it and it stood alone. The house was a known victim of vandalism and window breaking. It was a dark brown and looked black in the dark.

Sasuke walked to the house, unsure whether he was supposed to go in or if he was supposed to wait outside it. He checked the time and decided to try going inside the house. It was almost 10:45. Before entering the house, Sasuke turned his phone's flashlight on.

Sasuke never really thought of it but it wasn't long before he realized that walking through abandoned houses with a flashlight at night was truly creepy. Scary, even. The flashlight made shadows move and the fear of someone else already being in the house made things worse.

Sasuke got too nervous halfway into the house and decided to just wait outside. He figured if someone was in there, he would've found them by then. Only five minutes had passed and Sasuke got tired of standing around - especially after that hella long walk - and sat down.

Sasuke put music on and waited until, at 11 exactly, a dark van started driving slowly towards him. He wasn't sure if he should be cautious of the car or if it was them. He stood his ground and dared the care to come towards him.

The car rolled up next to Sasuke and the window to the passenger seat rolled down. "Get in," came the deep voice of the masked man. Sasuke's relief was filled with a new kind of tension. The kind of tension one felt when being left alone with the masked man.

Sasuke opened the car door and sat down. Then he shut the door. "So," said Sasuke, "where are we going?" The masked man looked at him once and started driving. Sasuke began questioning whether the man would answer before he finally said, "to a party."

Sasuke nodded, pretending to know what he was talking about. He decided he didn't want to end up annoying the masked man with more questions so he kept his mouth shut. The man started driving through to the rich side of town, the part where houses were football fields apart.

That would make for easy ways to party. The music would be loud but since their neighbors are so far apart from them, they wouldn't make any noise complaints as they wouldn't hear the music well enough. They stopped at a gated house.

The masked man broke the silence. "This is not the party. We're picking up those three idiots first." Sasuke thought to Suigetsu, Karin, and Jugo. Did they live in this fancy house? The masked man gave a password and the gates to the house opened. They drove up to the front door where Suigetsu, Jugo, and Karin were.

Sasuke was honestly glad to have them around. He felt much more comfortable with them. But how did they know the masked man? They got into the car and for the first time that night, Sasuke spoke. "Do you guys live there?"

Suigetsu laughed jokingly. "I wish. What're you doing here, Sasuke?" Sasuke ignored the question because it was stupid. He was obviously here for the possibility of drugs. Suigetsu looked funnily insulted before turning around to argue with Karin.

The masked man drive out of the driveway and left through the gates. He reached into his pocket, grabbing something. And pulled it out. Sasuke's eyes widened. It was a gun. The man held it out to Sasuke and Sasuke realized he wasn't sure how to take a gun from someone's hand the right way.

So he took it by the barrel, pointing it towards himself because that's what you di when handling scissors. Only when holding scissors, you give them to people by pointing them towards yourself while they take the handle.

Sasuke figured doing it this way instead would be a safety, loyalty thing while looking fearless at the same time. The masked man started talking. "You will use that gun if needed." Why would he need a gun? "I have not introduced myself properly."

The man was so articulate. It wasn't that he'd forgotten to introduce himself to Sasuke or even that Sasuke already might have known his name. It was that he would tell Sasuke when he wanted to tell him and only then would Sasuke be allowed to know his name. Screw what Sasuke had heard of him because only he had the permission to directly introduce himself.

"I am Madara but you will call me Tobi when around others." He put an emphasis on "others," clearly excluding those he hadn't accepted as one of them. "Today, we are going to a party." He explained their plans as if Sasuke was a dumb child who needed everything explained to him. In a sense, though, he was.

It took a couple of minutes for Sasuke to realize that Madara revealing his name to him meant that he accepted him into "the group." Sasuke wasn't sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing. What would happen if he didn't comply with Madara someday?

Sasuke forced himself to stay in the moment. He needed to focus on what was happening in the now. Sasuke didn't have much time to think as Madara got to the medium sized house in 7 minutes due to lack of traffic. The house was a tan and all of the grass around it was dead. It honestly looked like a meth house.

"Isn't this Orochimaru's other house?" Asked Suigetsu. Madara looked at Suigetsu in a way that said "yes." Sasuke knew Orochimaru was a creature he shouldn't mess with but Madara giving him a gun for protection sounded overboard.

They didn't hear the music coming from the house until they got out of the car. The four high schoolers followed Madara to the door. Madara didn't even knock. He just opened it. The "party" was rather small with only 8 people standing around. It was more like a hangout than a party.

The house itself was just as messy as Orochimaru's other house. It looked bigger on the inside than it seemed on the outside. The walls were a strange dirty white. Everyone at the party looked like absolute crackheads and Sasuke didn't soon forget that he had a gun.

Madara walked towards the hall to the left. The four, of course, followed. The hall led to two different rooms. Madara opened the second room that was to the right. Sasuke had a small view of the room. The room was dark with a small tint of blue light to it.

Sasuke paced himself. The room looked so shady that his mind went into fight or flight mode. He forced himself to calm down. If Madara hadn't given him the stupid gun, he wouldn't have felt the need to shoot. Instead, he would've handled any bad situation by problem solving.

Sasuke wasn't against guns but he couldn't help but feel that the gun in his pocket was weighing him down drastically. Madara stood by the door, wanting Sasuke to go first. Sasuke forced his legs to walk a normal pace. (He actually walked faster than usual but, stuck in his thoughts, he didn't notice.)

The first thing Sasuke saw was snakes. The room was practically a snake exhibit. Luckily, none of the snakes were out of their terrariums. Orochimaru had the same old annoying amused look on his face. "I'll be back," Madara said before leaving the room.

Maybe Madara gave him a gun because they would be left alone with Orochimaru. Sasuke started feeling partially relieved. Maybe the gun was a precaution rather than a necessity. If it was a precaution then nothing would be likely to happen. The gun would just be there for in case. However, if it was a necessity, Sasuke would have no choice but to use the gun.

Orochimaru turned around in his chair. "I see Madara brought you three as requested," Orochimaru said to Karin, Jugo, and Suigetsu pointedly. Why would Orochimaru want to have them there? Luckily, Suigetsu was the type to ask questions, even when it could get him into trouble.

"Why did you want us here?" "I have a task for the four of you in exchange for some free drugs." The words "free drugs" hit Sasuke in the face. A good kind of hit. The kind that tells you to pay attention to something good because you don't want to miss it.

"What is it?" Asked Sasuke. "I want you four to sell some drugs for me. I need to sell some products before they're not as good and I could use the extra money. In exchange, I'll give each of you leftovers that I have."

So, they were basically paying the guy anyways. "Talk to Kabuto for more details. He's always available. Now get out. I'm working on something." The group of four left the room and Sasuke sighed. He couldn't believe he was about to sell drugs for more drugs. He was really starting to sound like a drugs addict now.

They four of them didn't know where to go so they went to the living room where the party was. Madara seemed busy talking to someone and Sasuke decided that they themselves were probably making a drug deal. Madara felt Sasuke watching him and pointed to Sasuke before pointing to the floor next to himself, telling Sasuke to "come here."

Sasuke walked up to the two men. "I'm selling coke," said Madara. The man who was buying the drug was wearing a black hoodie, was quite overweight, and had orange hair. The bag with the drug in it was pretty small. The orange haired man gave Madara the money before Madara handed him the coke.

The second they finished exchanging, the orange haired man and Madara walked apart, as if pretending nothing happened and continued going on with their lives. Madara turned to Sasuke. "Did you see how I did that?" Sasuke nodded, feeling embarrassed that he was being taught as if he was clueless.

"What did I do?" As if a teacher was making sure her student was paying attention and not messing around. Sasuke swallowed his embarrassment and replied, hoping to give the right answer. "You made sure he handed the money first before giving it to him and then you walked apart, finishing your business quickly."

Madara nodded in approval. "Good. You're going to be a dealer someday. Always be careful, always have a gun with you, and always remember your position. As the dealer, you are above the buyer. They need your drugs more than you need their money." That was debatable.

"Make sure they know you're trustworthy while making sure you keep them in their place." Sasuke nodded, trying to take everything he said in because, as someone who had been dealing for who knows how long, Sasuke could learn before making too many mistakes on his first time dealing.

Then, all of a sudden, there was a crash to the right of Sasuke. He jumped. From the looks of it, the orange haired guy threw a tiny Hispanic man into a bookshelf. Everyone who was sitting stood up and moved away from the area.

By everyone's reactions, Sasuke knew this could get dirty and put his hand in his pocket, feeling the gun. Madara watched Sasuke like a hawk, seeing his reactions to the situation. The Hispanic man unexpectedly pulled out a knife and in reaction, the orange haired guy pulled out a gun.

Sasuke had to think fast. Should he take the gun out? Would that only make things worse? What if someone died tonight? What if someone got shot or stabbed? What would he do?

Sasuke decided to wait until there was a larger threat. If someone did get stabbed or shot, he'd have no choice but to pull out his own gun. Not only that but the fact that Madara wasn't pulling his gun out himself meant that he either had low morals or saw no threat.

The Hispanic man held out his knife, pointing it at the orange haired man. In response, the orange haired man pointed his gun back at him. "Bullets are faster than knives. Your ass is beat." The Hispanic man's eyes became wild.

"You best give me some of those fucking drugs. You know how much shit I've done for you? Not only that but if you think you can just kill me and get away with it, you're wrong. My homies will all come after you."

The orange haired man didn't seem swayed in the slightest. His lack of reaction clearly made the Hispanic man anxious. "Let's bring this fight to next week, huh? It's not fair that you have a gun and I don't." The orange haired man laughed. He didn't seem to care about fairness.

But, surprisingly, he lowered his gun. "Fine. On Saturday. Stuart High School. Be there at 12 midnight." Sasuke wasn't sure if Madara would make him go too. He might see it as a learning opportunity. Madara turned to Sasuke. "My business is done here. Let's go." Sasuke nodded.

Madara walked out the door and the four teens followed.
