This Heartland story details the life and times of the Borden Family, Starting, 12 years after they are married. Amy and Ty have 5 kids, a ranch and a growing family business. Mainly focused on this amazing couple, you will also experience the active lives of their family. ENJOY the ride! For those who have wanted a Mitch/Amy pairing, here is my imagining of that happening. The story picks up shortly after Season 16 Episode 1. I make references to Season 16, but my story does not strictly follow Heartland canon beyond the first episode and takes an alternate storyline. All characters, other than a very few I've added, belong to CBC and Heartland TV series.

The Heartland family is drawn into a mystery when a couple Amy once helped wind up dead. As danger creeps ever closer, can they get to the bottom of it before more deaths occur?

(AU) After getting herself into a life-changing situation, Amy is sent to stay at Heartland, a horse ranch run by Jack and his grandson, Ty, where inmates work to rehabilitate and re-home abused horses, and help forge a new path for themselves. Inspired by episode 4.08 One Day and based on Anne Howard Creel's novel The Magic of Ordinary Days. This story is for Mature audiences.

Things have sure changed since Ty's abrupt disappearance 4 years ago. Ty realizes he's not the only one that's changed. Heartland is far from the home he once knew. Amy's moved on. Ty's been in and out of jail. The last thing Amy excepted was for Ty to show up with Jack early one spring morning. (Set during season 5)

After their break-up following her return from the European Tour, Amy and Ty reconcile briefly only to be torn apart, seemingly for good. Each moves on with their own life, they lose touch. Years pass. A chance meeting, in this Small World, may change all that.

What if Lisa is happy with what they're having but still wants to spend more time with Jack? Will moving in together be the right decision for them or will it lead to heartache and pain? This is a story that is set in season three when Jack proposes for the first time and shortly after, both of them decide to call it off. (I am no good at summaries. Sorry not sorry)

A/U: Do Lisa & Jack have to live life in a linear manner and conform into society's pre determined milestones or can they deviate and make their own path to find the ultimate contentment.

This is an "AU" which starts about 8 years after Season 8 Episode 8. Amy drops Ty off at his trailer after bailing him out and then leaves Heartland and Hudson. They never make it to Pike River.
