Rienne had come in right after Loki stabbed Coulson. She was unaware of how dangerous he truly was at this moment. "Loki… I thought you dead… When Thor spoke of you I thought… I thought he was lying or it was some kind of mistake…" Her heart beat viciously in her chest, threatening to burst right out. Loki's surprised expression suddenly changed into a smirk.

"Oh… but it is me, my dear."

Rienne slowly walked up to him, still unable to believe her eyes. She placed a hand on his cheek feeling the unnatural coolness of his skin. "Loki…. I… I can't…believe it..." He suddenly became annoyed and removed her hand.

"Listen love, we can do this whole… warm reunion later. As you can see, I'm rather busy at the moment." He returned his attention back to Thor.

"Rienne… you remember Loki?... Did you have your memories all this time?!" Thor placed his hands on the glass cage, a glare evident on his handsome features. She quickly ran up to him and placed her hands where he had his.

"Thor please… I beg of you not to tell Odin… He tried to take my memories of Loki but I was protected from it… I had to pretend he was successful… only you could understand the agony I went through when I thought I lost him… please Thor…" She saw his eyes lower themselves. Thor was contemplating the situation, it seemed however, Loki wouldn't let him.

"Enough! It doesn't matter whether Thor decides to tell Odin or not. He will cease to exist soon enough." He walked over to the control panel. "Rienne my dear, you might want to step back a bit."

"Loki, what are you-"but she was cut off by him releasing the glass cage from the ship.

"THOR!" She saw him being flung around from wall to wall inside as he fell to his certain death. "LOKI HOW COULD YOU?!"

"Oh please Rienne spare me the fake tears! I know you were planning to marry Thor for the throne and then killing him off. I did you a favor!" She looked at him with pure shock in her eyes. She was trying to register what he just said. "I placed a spell on Jormungand, Fenrir and Hella as children, so I would be informed of their whereabouts at all times. I saw and heard everything you and Jormungand were talking about. So do not pretend you cared for Thor. You were planning on executing Ragnarok. I dare say that is quite devious of you." She remained silent.

"You're gonna lose." Rienne turned around and saw a man sitting up against a wall. Clearly he had been deathly wounded. She ran up to him and knelt down by his side.

"Do not attempt to heal him!" Loki snarled at her. Rienne looked up at him with furrowed brows and eyes narrowed. His eyes glared down at the man and his face held hatred. "Am I?" he asked the man.

"It's in your nature…" Rienne remained kneeling by the man's side. She could tell he was slowly dying and wouldn't have much longer to live.

"Your heroes are scattered… your floating fortress falls from the sky… where is my disadvantage?" Loki slowly made his way closer to the man.

"You lack conviction."

"I don't think I-"The man suddenly shot the laser gun he was holding and hurt Loki.

"LOKI!" Rienne ran over to him but he brushed her off.

"I don't need your help!" he spat at her. She was taken aback at Loki's new attitude towards her. There was a sudden explosion and Loki quickly stood up. "I need to continue my plans. That fool, son of Coul, did nothing but momentarily slow me down. Barton is here for me… I must go."

"Loki w-wait! What about me?..." She gave him a pleading look.

"What about you?" she stared at him with her jaw slightly open. 'what about me?...' she thought but said nothing to him. With a heavy sigh Loki responded, "Listen Rienne… I cannot afford to have my plans ruined by distractions. I have come too far to fail now."

"I am… just a distraction to you?..." She could feel tears starting to form in her eyes. He placed both hands on her shoulders.

"When this is all over… you shall be my queen. I will be able to give you everything you deserve and then some. However, right now I need you to stay out of my way. Do not be a nuisance."

"But Lo-" He brushed his right hand over her face and she suddenly went limp in his arms. A simple sleeping spell that would put her out for hours.

"I am sorry my love… but if my plan is to come to fruition… I cannot allow you to distract me… if you were to get hurt or worse… I couldn't live with myself…" Loki gently set her sleeping form down next to Coulson's. He kissed her forehead gently and was about to leave when Coulson spoke up.

"If you truly loved her… you wouldn't do this…"

"You know not of Rienne and I… do yourself a favor and die already." With that, Loki left.

Nick fury walked in just as Loki left and saw Coulson drawing his last breaths. He looked at the dying man with deep sadness and remorse. He looked to his right and saw Rienne passed out next to Coulson and Nick motioned for his assistants to take her inside.

Rienne awoke on a small basic bed. She slowly and carefully fluttered her eyes open. Looking around she realized she was still inside the flying fortress and seemed to be in some sort of healing room. She had no idea how long she had been sleeping. All she knew was the last thing she saw. Loki. He must have knocked her out somehow. She needed to get to him… she needed answers! Getting up from the bed carefully, she looked to her side and on a nearby chair, there were some black clothes. Picking them up to get a better view she noticed they were identical to the ones that woman Natasha wore. 'I suppose this would be better to fight in if need be…' Quickly getting dressed, she aimlessly made her way through hallways and doors. Hopelessly lost, she came across another woman dressed in similar attire.

"Excuse me! Miss can you please help me find … umm… Steve?" She figured he would be the best choice at the moment to be with in this strange place.

"Who? Captain America?" Rienne nodded. "Oh you just missed him, he and the Avengers are about to head out and fight off that monster Loki and his army.

"Where are they!?" she urged. The woman pointed her to the direction in which she saw Steve last and Rienne took off running. A few minutes later, and an out of breath Rienne, she saw him with Natasha and another man. "STEVE!" He turned around just as he was entering some sort of smaller flying craft.

"Rienne you're awake!" He ran over to her.

"Yes! Steve are you going after Loki?"

"Yes. We are going to stop him and his army. Tony already went on ahead."

"Please let me go with you!" He looked at her questioningly.

"Rienne… are you sure about this… I mean… well I don't want you to get hurt and you just woke up from being knocked out…"

"Let me show you what a Valkyrie can do." She stood her ground and gave him a stern stare. He nodded and motioned for her to follow suit.

Chaos. Chaos everywhere. Midgadians running back and forth trying to take cover anywhere they could as the Chitauri killed anyone in their way. Rienne looked up at a nearby building and caught a glimpse of a Chitauri zipping by on a machine. "This is… horrible…" she whispered.

"Yeah… this is all Loki's doing… and he's gonna pay for it!" Steve jumped up on a nearby Midgaridan Vehicle and smacked a Chitaurian warrior with his shield, knocking him away. More Chitaurian warriors tried ganging up on him but he easily defeated them.

Natasha and the new man, Barton she later found out, were all effortlessly defeating Chituarinan after Chituarian. Rienne too, had defeated quite a number of them. She summoned her Valkyrie helmet and weapon, the berserker staff…

"Whoa… where'd you get that?" Steve looked in awe as she was bathed in an intense light that now formed her helmet and her weapon that was covered in a purple cloth.

"It's called the Berserker Staff. It's not really mine… I'm borrowing it from a friend until I officially get my Valkyrie weapon so… I better be careful." She gave him a goofy smile and an awkward laugh. He shook his head and continued on with the fight.

Once Rienne removed the cloth and touched the staff, her eyes went blood red and she was overcome with fury. She suppressed the staff's magic to have control over it. She would be dammed if she became a blood thirsty animal while holding the staff.

After fighting off more than a dozen Chitauri warriors, Rienne was starting to become exhausted. 'They just keep coming… one after another after another…' she thought. A gang of Chitauri suddenly tried to gang up on her, but a brilliant flash of lightning killed them all in one strike. "THOR! By the god's you're alive!" She ran up to him and tried giving him a hug but he pushed her away. "Thor?..."

Completely ignoring her, he began talking to Steve. 'Wonderful… now he's angry with me as well...' She couldn't make out what Thor was saying exactly but she heard Loki's name. She didn't inquire about it though… seeing as how Thor was upset with her, she didn't want to anger him more by asking to go with him to see Loki. Banner appeared on a small Midgardian vehicle and transformed into some sort of green beast. His muscles rippled and were growing enormously. Rienne's eyes went wide at the newly transformed Bruce Banner, unable to express her fear of him. Steve began giving everyone orders. He had Barton go onto a roof of a nearby building and keep an eye on everything, Stark got the perimeter, Thor was to close the portal or at least close it to where it would slow down the Chitauri, and finally he turned to Natasha and Rienne. He informed them that they were to stay here and keep the fight going. Take out all Chitauri that were attacking the people and keep them occupied while Thor tried to close the portal. The 'Hulk', as Steve called the beast, was to smash any and all threats.

Rienne broke away from Natasha and Steve. She followed a Chitaurian warrior but he only led her to an ambush. Nothing to worry about though, she could take them.

Fight after fight after fight…. Rienne was reaching her limit. She didn't know how much longer she could keep this up. Finally after what seemed an eternity, she managed to kill off enough Chitauri, to where she found her way back to Steve and the others. She saw Thor, Steve, Natasha and everyone else looking up to the sky. "What's going on?" she asked the other woman.

"Stark… he took one of the Chitauri beasts up to space and the portal's about to close… but he hasn't come back through yet…" Rienne now looked up to the sky as well, hoping to see the Iron man come through the portal.

"Do it…" Steve told Natasha and she quickly used Loki's staff to close the portal. At the last second, Rienne saw Stark come through and she smiled.

"Look!" she pointed up at him and everyone had a look of relief wash over them, as they saw the Iron man falling form the sky.

"He's not slowing down!" Thor started to swing Mjolnir in an attempt to fly up to catch Stark but at the last second, the Hulk caught him. They both landed quite violently on the ground but seemed to be alright. Everyone ran over to Stark, including Rienne. Thor removed his face helmet and Steve inspected Stark to make sure he was still alive. Everyone had a look of despair plastered on their face. It seemed that Stark hadn't survived after all… The Hulk unexpectedly let out a yell that made Rienne and Stark jump. Her heart nearly leaped out of her throat.

"W-what the hell?..." Poor Stark looked like he had just gotten slapped in the face with a fish. Rienne inwardly laughed, just getting over the shock of the Hulks yell as well. "Wh-what just happened?... Please tell me no one kissed me…" His look of confusion was comical.

"We won…" Steve let out a sigh of relief. Everyone did. Stark started rambling on about something called Shawarma. She drowned out their conversation with a mental one she was having with herself. 'Loki… Loki what have you done… and above it all you lost… Odin will surely kill you now… there's no saving you…'

They all made their way up the Stark Tower. Barton drew an arrow and aimed it at Loki. Rienne couldn't even bear to look at him… instead she subconsciously held tightly onto Steve's hand. He was a little surprised but squeezed her hand in return. In a quick glimpse, Loki saw the affectionate action and he felt a sharp sting in his heart.

"If it's all the same to you… ugh… I'll have that drink now."

The following day was sunny and bright. It was warm with a slight cool breeze. Rienne had discarded that black suit she was wearing, in favor for her dress. Thor placed Loki in chains and a metal plate over the bottom half of his face, covering his mouth. Before Thor could say his goodbyes, Rienne pulled him aside.

"Thor… are you truly that angry with me?... I'm sorry… I swear to you I didn't want to hide it… I just… I was confused… I didn't know what to do…" Thor let out a heavy sigh.

"We can speak of this when we return home."

"After Loki's trial I presume?" He nodded and left her side. Thor started saying his goodbye's to everyone. They all hugged and shook hands. Thor stood straight, looking proud and god-like, holding Loki by his chains in one hand and the Tesseract in the other, ready to head back to Asgard.

"Coming Rienne?" He looked at her for an answer and she shifted a bit in place. Rienne turned around and saw the whole gang awaiting her decision. She looked over at Steve… he looked so handsome wearing his casual attire...He smiled at her… that sweet smile of his… unlike Loki's that was cunning yet extremely arousing… no… Steve's smile was sweet… gentle even…

"You could always stay here a while… I could take you around the city like I promised…" He gestured to his motorcycle. Would she stay?... Leave everything behind and stay with Steve?... Leave Loki and the kids behind for this Midgardian Mortal?... A chance for a 'normal' life? She had told Odin she didn't want to be a Valkyrie… she didn't want to marry Thor… she didn't want to be a guard anymore… in her heart all she truly wanted was a family… a family that loved her…

She looked over at Loki. His eyes were narrowed at her yet… they held sadness?... was he truly sad at the thought that she might stay?... Or was this another one of his tricks?... Just a while ago she was fighting for her life from the destruction he caused… but didn't she also say to Jormungand she wanted to bring about Ragnarok?...For revenge?... For Loki's sake?... So wouldn't she have brought that same destruction over to Asgard and all the nine realms?... She was so confused… Was there still any point in bringing about Ragnarok?... Was there anything at all that could possibly redeem her heinous thoughts and actions?... She wanted her children but now… she would surely lose Loki… She knew Odin would never forgive this…

"I..."

So I need some feed back on whether or not to add some Steve Rogers X OC fluff. I'd like to know if you guys want me to have Rienne stay with Steve for a bit and have some romance or just go with Thor and continue with Loki. Either way of course she will always return to Asgard and be with Loki. So please Review so I know whether or not to do Steve fluff or not! Thanks again!
